155 New Show, New Year and Better Equipment

155 New Show, New Year and Better Equipment

Episode Summary

Episode 155 is the first show of 2021 for the two Mikes, and it opens with plenty of shop-talk housekeeping: whether to reset the numbering for a "season three" (they don't), a rundown of the new soundboard, microphones and camera gear they've installed to improve audio and video quality, and the freshly repainted red studio wall. Sponsor read for The Octador humidor by Case Elegance is included, along with a thank-you to listeners Charles and Jennifer Fix for buying from the sponsor.

The first half is loose conversation — New Year's Eve at Michael's house with the shop crew, drunk-dialing Greg, dogs (a Shepherdoodle named Diesel), a teething baby with a low-grade fever, kids heading back to school masked and six feet apart, a long gripe session about Wonder Woman 1984's magic wishing stone and the invisible-jet fireworks detour, Tenet, New Year's diet competitions, and the NFC East playoff mess where the Eagles pulled their starters against Washington and knocked the Giants out.

The news segment covers the Espinosa Thai Tea, a 5x52 Robusto with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, made at La Zona in Estelí and released New Year's Eve at $10 through Privada Cigar Club and Limited Cigar Association retailers — plus the LCA's new rule barring retailers from bundling exclusives into samplers or running pre-sales. They also cover Arturo Fuente shipping the Rare Pink Vintage 1960 perfectos (with $13 per box donated to the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, an effort spearheaded by Liana Fuente, who shaved her head alongside Carlito Fuente shaving his mustache), Aganorsa Leaf's new Rare Leaf Reserve line in Robusto, Toro and Titan for select retail partners, Crux Cigars adding a 6.5x44 Lonsdale to the Epicure line via Privada, and the Fuente Fuente OpusX Heaven & Earth holiday collection including the return of the Scorpio Maduro after 15 years.

They close with the Halfwheel 88 rating for Powstanie's cigar (same score Dunbarton's Neanderthal HN received), Room 101's 11th Anniversary being reviewed on the Patreon, Cuba restricting international flights over COVID, and the usual off-ramp stories: "super gonorrhea" trending and a Florida man who gloved up and stole every chicken wing from a Naples 7-Eleven.

The End. Oh, see, now we can't hear the music either. Dum, dum, dum, dum, dum, dum, dum, dum. Welcome to episode 155 of A Cigar Hustler Podcast.

Now, wait, I was gonna ask you, we could have done this off the air, but we don't do anything off the air. Yeah, it's better to do it off the air. Do we wanna do, this is 2021 now, do we wanna do season three? Season 3.

Episode 1, because we're going into our fourth year, actually. Fourth year, season 3. No, no, we don't say fourth year, but we could do season 3, episode 1, or we could just continue on to episode 155. I just wanted to be an ongoing number.

It's okay, then it's 155. Episode number 7,000. Welcome to Cigar Hustler Podcast, episode 155. 155.

Today's show brought to you by The Octador by Case Elegance. This deluxe humidor features a striking octagon silhouette, posh-back piano finish, glass top, front digital hydrometer, accessory storage drawer, spanish cedar, magnetic enclosure, and the patent bedding hydro system. Hydro system.

Case Elegance has undergone extensive research, testing, and customer feedback to solve every shortcoming commonly experienced with other humidors, Michael. Cleverly recessed into the base is the included patent-pending hydro system, an accurate and low-maintenance cigar humidification system that makes dialing in and maintaining your humidor easy. Case Elegance has integrated a front-facing digital hydrometer, offering you peace of mind that your sticks are kept to your desired humidity. Peace of mind.

Properly store your lighter, cutter, cigar, and travel case in the large bottom accessory storage drawer. The stunning Octador is finished in a lacquered black piano with slight undertones of black wood grain. The solid metal hardware mirrors the octagonal shape and comes in a modern space gray finish. The Octador by Case Elegance is one of the highest rated and most comprehensive cigar humidors on the market.

A striking shape, beautiful finishes, and thoughtful engineering makes this a must-have for any aficionado. com for more information and purchasing. You have to do something with your glasses. Why are you trying the glasses?

You're doing it again. You're rubbing it against the mic. Oh, is it rubbing it against the thing? How did we fix that last time?

I think you lowered it. I don't know. Yeah. You got all up on that mic just a minute ago.

Did I? And it hit it again? It started to work. Didn't even notice.

Also, as long as we're talking about the Octador, we'd like to thank Charles and Jennifer Fix. They ordered a humidor from Case Elegant. They did. They did not order the Octador, but they took advantage of the excellent Christmas ship involved with all of their products, and they ordered a different one.

That is amazing! So, thank you for taking care of our sponsors. There you go. The Fixes.

It's very nice. Fixes? I guess it'd be Fixes. The Fixes.

The Fixes. The Fixes are in. The Fixes are in. I'm sure they haven't heard that before.

Probably not. Who knows? But thank you to them. So, did you have a nice New Year's, Michael?

Yeah. Now I'm really awkward about the way it's getting in my glasses. Super awkward. Super awkward.

So we didn't have a private party here because we felt odd. So we had the crew from here over to the house. Very nice. We were never invited.

I'm never invited to that. You weren't going to come. But I wasn't invited. You weren't going out.

I really want... It was a last minute thing, Michael, but we decided not to do it here. I would prefer an invitation so I could decline. Okay, going forward, Michael, you were invited to anything at my house, any day you want to come.

No, no. What happens if I just show up? That's fine. Why don't we care?

Where are my pants? I don't know. Where are my pants? I was just told to be here.

I don't have pants at home. I don't wear pants. Oh, okay. All right.

Yeah. Well, it was like a mini, well, with some changes lately, it was a mini employee party. It pretty much was. It was practically like a wig meeting or something.

Well, we did discuss the shop and we badmouthed you and Greg for most of the evening, especially after the drinks. And then we're like, oh, fuck him, guys. I don't like that wig meeting. I'll give him a wig meeting.

Fucking idiots. We did try, we called Greg at one point and I guess he had already gone to bed. But you called me, didn't I? We called you, we wished you a happy new year, yes.

And I answered? Yes, I made a personal call first, and then I let the crew say. Ah, then you permitted. Yes, I permitted the crew.

We all just called Greg several times. I think the last time he answered, in bed. Yeah. We're gonna open a shop, we're a great idea, everything 50% off.

This is gonna be fantastic. It was very dark, we just saw moving things. I don't know what was going on. " "Oh, I was probably up.

" I thought they'd stole your dog. Mine is a Shepardoodle. Oh, your Shepardoodle. Yeah, they look exactly the same.

Yeah, they all kind of look the same. Yeah, they all look the same. Yeah. Same black and white.

He said he was running around, jumping like yours did. Oh, yeah. Very excited. I was like, "There he is!

" Oh, no, it's not that. Happy dog. Very happy dog. They had two.

They had a gold one and a black and white. Oh. Only the black and white was happy. The gold one was very subdued.

Yeah. Maybe it was older. You know, it was kind of funny when we picked our dog. We had to pick, it's called the party or whatever, the party, when it's mixed.

There was a party? Like you can get a solid dog. Oh, the color? Or you could get the color, the spots or whatever.

It's called like party or something. Oh, party. So we wanted a solid dog. Right.

And then, you know, because we were in a specific order, we didn't get the solid dog. Oh, you weren't first, you didn't get first choice. So we got, so we're like, okay, we'll take the party. And then I'm looking through, and they had named this dog at the time.

You know, Diesel. I was like, I'm thinking Diesel. That's what I said to Brittany. She goes, okay, Diesel looks good.

Then they show a video of the dogs running around, like in the puppies, they're in like this little cage. Little pen, right? Yeah. All the dogs are going nuts, except for Diesel.

He's just fucking staring at the camera, like not giving... Fuck me, Brittany! No, no, not even that. Not even that.

He's just like, you know what, fuck these guys. Fuck you guys. I don't give a shit. I'm here and it is what it is, you know?

And I'm like, that's definitely our dog. So then, as the time progressed, one of the solid ones became available. Oh. Hey, so, you know, we have one of the solids for you.

Right. I was like, no, fuck that. No, I'm with diesel now. Now, I'm committed.

Where are you attached? Yeah, we have a bond going on with the video. With the video. And diesel it is, goddammit.

No, you didn't get to pick him out in person. No. You know, I guess we didn't pick Dempsey on it, but we picked him out from a video. Yeah.

So, man. Our other two dogs, though, we got to choose. I had to drive to South Carolina to get the fucking thing. Uh, well, we got Rowdy.

I drive in the middle of a forest, some state forest somewhere to some... Oh, a little deliverance. Canoes slash... Mm-hmm.

Cano rentals slash... Go on in here. Dog groomer or dog breeder slash convenience store place. Check out the dogs.

Don't listen to the screams coming from downstairs. Like, what is the music? Don't pay attention. You sure are a party.

Yeah. What? Well, I did nothing for New Year's. We just hung out at the house.

Oh. Baby had a fever. Oh. I think it was teething or something.

Yeah, teething fever. You know, because it went away. It was, like, weird. It was low, but lingered for a couple days.

Right. Low-grade fever. That sounds like teething. Low-grade.

I had a conversation with the doc, and the doc's like, no, that's not low-grade. Like, 101? I was like, 100 to 101? No, that's not low grade.

Anything under 100 is low grade. Oh. So she had a fever? She had a fever, Michael.

She had a fever. She was fine. Did you give her the Tylenol? The baby Tylenol?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Brittany's really good with that. Baby Tylenol. The switching, every three hours.

Not really, you know, as long as it didn't go, like, over 104. Peaked at 101, then, you know, when it started to go back down. Oh, yeah. So I don't know if it was the teething or, like, then, like, she had this bump on her leg.

I'm like, maybe something bit her. I don't know. Oh, spider. She climbing a wall?

She's Spider-Man now. She is. She was climbing the wall. That's true.

Wow. She's determined that the ledge is no longer a... Nice. Oh, yeah.

Oh, wait till she sees the big ones jumping off the island and stuff. Well, that's exactly why she did it. Yeah. She climbed up the fucking windowsill.

Oh, I saw Jackson. I've never seen Brittany move so fast. Slow motion. Slow motion, she's flying through the...

" Look at Mama move. I can see my house from here. That's amazing. can see i'm taller than the boys now uh so i got my bidding boys i gotta tell you uh i saw the funniest fucking thing today it was sad and funny oh it was sad and funny so i'll have a laughing cry as you tell the story yeah it probably will so i'm driving it's gonna be showing sorry so i'm driving to the gym and uh i'm right before i leave the neighborhood uh there's a school bus stop yes and uh there's about eight kids probably high schoolers either like they're eighth grade or like Like they're, you know, freshmen, they're in that realm.

Transitioning somewhere. Yeah. Your school started today? Yeah, so they started going back to school, and they're all six feet apart from each other.

They're all wearing masks, and you could see the look of misery on all of their faces. No one was looking at their phone. You could tell that they did not want to go to school. They were just pissed.

And I was like, wait until you get to fucking real life, man. You have to, and you have a real job. Like you ain't even, like high schools, I would take high school today. day like oh here you're going back fucking a sure that's gonna be amazing hey hey what are we doing i don't know we're writing shit down i don't know teacher gonna talk we're not gonna listen hey i just want to know you're failing like yeah probably yeah i don't care but i'm here i'm here that's all that matters i know what i need later in life is a time thing i just yeah yeah i've come back and you know i did the whole tenant thing and we've worked backwards and i'm in high school have you would you watch tenant the movie no oh kind of just ruined it for I'm not gonna lie.

But it's a good movie. We did watch Wonder Woman over the holidays. How was that? Terrible.

Terrible. You're a tough crowd. Spoiler alert or whatever it is if nobody's watching it yet, but the whole movie is around a magic rock. You gotta say the rock.

No, the rock is what causes the problems. The rock is the... How do you fix the rocks? It's a magic wish stone.

I'm okay with superheroes. I'm okay with aliens and everything coming out. You draw the line at the rock? Magic stone is the whole thing.

Well, I mean, Superman had kryptonite, that's kind of a magic stone. Yeah, but it's not, yeah, but the whole movie's not centered around kryptonite. Well, you know, you can get slowed down with kryptonite. I mean, so you mean, if they didn't find this magic stone, none of this would have happened.

And why does it have a moral? Wonder Woman had a moral at the end. The wishing caused the problem, because when you made the wish, it also cost you something, as they say. So, like, her wish was to bring back her dead boyfriend, but she didn't even know she was wishing at the time.

Like, nothing in life is free type shit? Right, so at the end of the movie, everybody has to renounce their wish for the world not to end, so they show all these people in different countries, and little words across the bottom, because we don't, I don't wish, I don't want, I'm good, these two people are fighting in a convenience store, and the lady says, I wish you couldn't talk anymore, and he goes, well I wish you would drop dead, so then the lady dropped dead, and he can't talk, oh, but he got it out before she died, right, right, well he got it out before her wish came true, right, right, oh man, So there's a time, there's a lag there. Apparently. Apparently, there's a lag with the wishes.

They don't happen right away. There's a six-second gap on that. Right, six-second gap on the wishing. Wow.

Wait, wait, there's one more thing, too. Okay. Can't let it go, huh? No, no, can't let it go.

These are points that have stuck out. I've said this on social media, it's every other place. Okay, the bad guy has all the powers of all the wishes. Oh.

But he flies commercial to go to Cairo, because they find his plane ticket, that's how they knew he went. Oh, it's pretty, yeah, I mean, you know. He can't just wish himself to Kyra. No, he doesn't want to give something up.

All right, so then they get the invisible jet. Okay. Okay, the invisible jet, the only one we think. So they steal a jet from the Smithsonian to fly to Cairo to chase the bad guy.

And it's invisible? So time is of the essence, because we have to steal this jet. Yes. Oh, look, fireworks over there.

Let's take a little detour and fly through the fireworks. Oh, fly through it. I mean, it was beautifully shot with fireworks going off outside the plane as they're flying. Very upset.

But I'm like, you guys are in a hurry, and you're- You got to save the world. There are wishes going on right now. There are wishes going everywhere. " Oh, this is lovely.

So ridiculous. They wouldn't be over at Disney, it's DC, so they're more universal. Just for the record. Well, it was actually, it was actually Washington, DC, so it would have been the, all of a sudden it's the 4th of July, they don't say anything about a 4th of July.

And everybody's wearing jackets, but apparently it's very cold at 4th of July in DC. Oh, well, you know, sometimes that happens on the 4th of July. And he's like, "What is that? " Jackets.

I love, I love, I love it that you get upset. You know, don't watch Tenet because you're going to ruin it for me. I liked it. I thought it was moving.

So did you have a New Year's resolution? Yes, to watch less stupid movies. How many people do you think had the, when was the New Year's, was it New Year's Day? Today is what, the 4th, the 5th?

Yeah, it was like Friday. The 4th. So it was like Thursday? Thursday, last Thursday.

How many people are like, you know what, I'm going to start eating healthier? And then like, you know what, it's the weekend. I'm going to roll into Monday. That's when I'm going to start.

The wife and I have been dieting since New Year's. Oh, yeah, you stuck with it. Chet and I have started a little competition. We both weighed in this morning, and whoever loses the most weight at the end wins.

Oh, he's going to beat you. He's starting higher than me, so he has a little bit of an advantage. Yeah. I don't think he's going to beat me.

He runs a lot. Well, I will start exercising eventually. Okay. Just be careful with the running.

You can hurt your knees. Oh, I'm not running. Oh, no, please. I don't run.

Swim or something. That's why I carry a gun. I don't run anymore. That's right.

It makes more sense. I can just shoot 'em. Did you catch any football? I don't watch football.

Oh, man. This game. Oh, dude. Did Mahomes play?

That's where my wife will know all about Mahomes. I have no idea. The Kansas City. Because at your house, Christy and the doctor's wife and my wife, they weren't talking about what a good player he was.

They were talking about his ass, I believe. He's so handsome. He has his ass. He has his great hair.

Love that. Patrick Mahomes. And he's so devoted to his little blonde girlfriend. I'm like, he's worth half a billion fucking dollars.

That's right. He's banging everybody. Young guy with all the money in the world. He can sign people off, hey listen, you know, here's a, oh, oh, okay, oh, you're gonna come out in public?

Here, just take this, this is a... Well, I mean, she catches him, he goes, half a billion, honey. Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to go on that. Right, yeah, you're right.

And who will be joining us this evening for dinner? That's right. Exactly. Dinner, how is she going to the bedroom?

Right. I need you to go watch TV for a couple hours, sweetheart. Oh, food? Yeah, you're not getting food.

You know, the 700-inch TV I put downstairs for you. Quite the tangent you're on today. That's very nice. So anyways.

Anyways, you watch football. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're going to love this. You're really going to appreciate it because.

I don't know. It's football. Okay. So the NFC East is like the overall suck ball.

Like all these guys. The suck ball? Yeah. Like none of them have.

Okay. Anyway. I don't even know what group of players. I'm going to tell you.

Okay. It's going to be the Washington football team. Oh, I heard they won. Shush.

Shush. The New York Giants. Oh, look at that. We're out of time.

The Dallas Cowboys. Yes. Cool. Cowboys and Indians.

And who am I forgetting? What was the one between the Cowboys and the Cowboys? There's one other one. Dallas and the Cowboys.

You said Cowboys, Dallas, who was the other one? Eagles. Eagles, Birds. The Birds.

Washington football team, Giants, Cowboys. Do they not have a name at all anymore? Just Washington. Right now they're Washington football team.

Is it just a red helmet now? Well, the commentators made countless mistakes calling them Redskins. It was really funny. It's like, dude, you guys get paid millions of dollars.

How about you don't make that mistake? So here's how this played out. The Giants and Dallas played in the beginning, like the one o'clock game. And whoever won that game, if Washington lost, they were getting into the playoffs.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Dallas played who? Dallas played the Giants. Okay, Dallas played the Giants.

Yeah. Okay, so it's all division games. Right, okay, so whoever wins that goes to the playoffs or Super Bowl? They would go to the playoffs, they'd be into the playoffs if the Washington football team lost.

But if they win, it doesn't matter who wins. Washington goes in. Oh, wow. So the Giants-Galboy game was first?

Yes. Oh, that sucks. Right. Okay, so the Giants won.

Okay. So normally at the end of a game like that, they would get to put NFC champions hats on. Well, no, no. I mean, you're going into the playoffs.

You're not an NFC champion or anything. Oh, oh, oh. You won the division. You're the NFC division.

Right, so they would get the, don't they do the hats? I mean, maybe. NFC 2020 division champions? Yeah, I mean, like, that's not a big fucking deal, though.

Who cares? So they go to put the hat on, like, no, no. No, well, there's no hat. They just want to get into the playoffs.

Oh. Right. So the Giants sit down, and they kind of, you know, they're watching the game. They're watching the game, right?

Okay, Philadelphia. Yes. Washington starts off like 10-0, and then all of a sudden the Eagles turn it on. Like, now they're in the lead 14-10.

So if they won, they weren't going anywhere. Yeah, it didn't mean shit to the Eagles. It didn't mean shit to the Eagles. Right, so they're playing like this Jalen Hurts kid who's really talented, and they're looking good.

I'm like, holy shit, this is going to happen. The Eagles are going to beat Washington. And it means nothing. And, well, it means something to Washington, and then they're not going to get in.

Right. And then all of a sudden, the Eagles head coach is like, you know what, I'm going to start putting in my third stringers. Did he really? Oh my God.

He threw the game. He did. He threw the game. Why did he do that?

He wanted them to get more experience, I guess, for the upcoming season. So, like, all the fucking, the Giants guys are tweeting like, bro. And like, frowny faces and all this other shit. It's so funny.

I could, it was, it was hysterical. Oh, it's kind of weird. Like, this is the shit that you're missing when it comes to football. I mean, he pulled through the game.

But the fact of the matter is, if you have a six and ten record, you really kind of screwed the pooch already. Like, you had six wins. Well, they got that far though, but still. You had six wins.

You had ten losses. Is it a wild card or something? Well, they would have made the, well, no. You can't make a wild card with a six and ten.

This is not possible. So, okay, evidently, I don't know what this level of play would be then. So, there's two teams and two teams. It's not any type of thing.

It's just a regular scheduled game. So these are, well, these are your division guys. Is that right, but I mean, but I mean, this game between the Redskins and the Eagles was planned. It's the Washington football team, Michael, you racist bastard.

Yeah, racist against Red, Redskins. Oh my God. But, but this was a regular scheduled game. Yeah.

It's not like the Eagles had to beat somebody to play the Washington team. No, no, this is a regular play. We're finishing off the regular season and this is divisional games. Okay, I got you.

You know, to determine where somebody's getting into the playoffs. Right, now the playoffs is not the Super Bowl. No, you gotta get, well, eventually you get there. Well, but you have to beat more people.

You really know nothing about football. No, no, I know nothing. So now the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gonna go play the Washington football team. You almost did it.

I want to say. Are we allowed to call them Buccaneers, or are they the Tampa football team? Are their Pirates now upset? The Tampa Bay...

What about the Seahawks? The Seahawks gotta be very upset that they lost. The Seahawks? The Seattle Seahawks, not the Seahawks.

They're in. Completely lost. It's in another division. Oh, the Eagles.

The Eagles are, you know. Yeah, but the real Eagles have to be upset. Like the Flying Eagles? Yeah, like the Indians didn't like to be called the Redskins.

Oh, well, you think the Eagles are derogatory? No, they don't like it because they threw the game. The American Eagles. The bald American Eagles.

The bald American Eagles. The hair-challenged American Eagles. Before we turn this off, I just want you to know that I'm wearing a Christmas present. I know.

Yes, very sweaty underneath, I understand. That's what happened with those type of decals. Yeah, I feel like I have a piece of paper stapled to my chest. That's what those things feel like, they're like little solar panels, and you get very sweaty underneath.

So you guys are in this stepbrothers, and it says we're here to fuck shit up. I must have looked really weird walking out of the gym wearing this, you know? Like, oh, he's got pictures of his dad's on his shirt. These are my sons.

These are my fathers. Yes. These are my two sons. They're adopted children.

Yeah. This will probably be the last time I wear this shirt. It's not so much that I mind it. Like, this is fine.

I don't care projecting that. No, no, no. It's the heat. Yeah.

He has to wear a t-shirt under it. This isn't comfortable for me. No, no. I understand.

It's like a piece of tinfoil over here. I mean... That's funny. But I wanted to at least get it in here.

Yes, wear it one time. We'll have to take a picture with me, you and Chad. Yeah. And we'll just be on the side pointing at the shirt.

Right. That would be perfect. Yes, we'll have to do that. Because my post about you being the mountain gorilla actually won this year.

Oh, yeah, I'm sure it did. And this is a- I mean, did somebody put up, not me. This is a picture of a mountain gorilla right before you attack the photographer. Thanks.

You don't understand what I had to look through to find something like that. You know what's even funnier about that is like, Brittany sees, my wife sees it. I put it on her page. Yeah.

Oh yeah. She goes, I was just tagged on this. I had to do the shares to get my numbers up. this was just put on my page so like i it oh you're the fucking the shit that you two do it follows me wherever i go well you got a phone call today i did get a phone call today yeah yeah i did get a phone call we didn't mean anything about it i just thought i know that you meant no harm meant no harm the complaint never even crossed my mind what's amazing to me is i get a phone call and i'm like i don't even know what the fuck you're talking about like i don't even No, I don't even know what's going on.

I just, you know, like, let me call them and see what's going on. Let me talk to them and see what the hell. They're just idiots. I don't know what to tell you, they're idiots.

Yeah, they're trying to be funny. I know they're just trying to be funny. I'm sorry that you're upset. Right.

And we're moving on. So. Anybody who sees anything that Chet and I do on social media, it's all in fun. Yeah, they just roll with it.

Just kidding around. Just joking. Jokey, jokey. They're just pushing the envelope.

Right. Exactly. All right, we're at 22 minutes. Do you have anything else?

Take a quick little break and get into the news? I mean, I'm just, I'm excited. The kids are back in school, getting back in the routine. Volusia doesn't start till tomorrow, so my wife is not at work.

Well, she actually went in today to redo, help somebody redo their room. The man he moved out? The man he? Yeah.

There's no way at my house? No, my house. Oh, he moved out? Yeah.

Oh, finally got to meet his wife, his alleged wife. Yes, the alleged wife. Yes, yep. They moved across the street?

Nope. That fell apart. Womp, womp. Can you move out this way?

Oh. Hold on. On this new soundboard. I think it's this one.

Yellow. Yellow is applause. Oh, man. So we got a couple, we're working on our upgrades here for the year.

Upgrades, upgrades. This is a beautiful new soundboard that I'll take a picture of because it lights up. So we're trying to make everything really crisp and sharp. This should have alleviated the problems from last one.

We know the mics were low last week. The microphones did not like the 1972 Apple soundboard. They were not happy with that. So we have upgraded the board to go along with these lovely microphones and mic stands.

The only thing we don't have right now is a jack leading to the camera, so the sound might be off because he doesn't know how to do that yet. I know how to do it, it's just hard to line up. There is a way to auto-sync it on the Adobe. Oh, well, that is my resolution for 2020, to learn how to use the Adobe.

Adobe Creator, Adobe Creator, I don't know what it's called, it's on here somewhere, yes, now that I have all this free time. Let's get into this, yes, you know, I think that, like, I liked your, I don't, you didn't get any attention with the diehards, did I know you kind of like, you had, you had to cut it short or whatever? Well, some people, well, it was gonna be completely different, but Chet and I could not sync up our schedules for the holidays, and I built the set at home, and once I built it and got it all set up, I was like, I can't move this, it's not gonna fit in the car. We gotta do, I wanna be part of this, I wanna do some of these things with you, but it has to be, you know, we gotta kick it up a notch.

Well, there's not a lot of room here to do stuff anymore. No, we can go, we'll go film stuff in other spots. Did you get, if we got that mic too for the camera, that'd be nice. It's out there.

Okay. Yeah, that came too. I didn't even open that 'cause I couldn't get in here today. Right.

Yeah, this is in the middle of. The painters came today and had to repaint. Yes, we made it. We weren't happy.

Since we're always in black, we figured, why not go with red? Right. And here we are. We have a small upgrade for the table we're going to do.

Yeah, well, we're slowly making this experience better for you. Yes. One episode at a time. More professional as I just burped into the microphone.

Yeah, well, hey, Howard Stern does it all the time. Yeah, he's the king of all media. He is. He's the king of here.

You're just the king of here. He's the king of here. King of all cigar media. Mm-hmm.

All right, so... All right, we will take a little break, and then we'll come back and get into the news. The news. Oh man.

All right, and we're back with episode 155 of the Cigar Hustler Podcast. So on the Patreon, we were, oh, okay, it's just, like, you know where that one is, so you can just continue to use that button. Yes, yes, I know where that one is. Okay, so, uh, I know where that one is still.

Alright, that's enough. Put that down, Michael. Put that down. I'm sorry.

We're like a 1980s sitcom now. What now? So, we were supposed to do the 11th anniversary last week. We didn't do a review last week.

On the Patreon. I'm gonna start smoking my 11th anniversary now. Why is that? I don't know, I figured I'd start smoking it.

We have to weigh it and everything. We can weigh it. We have more than one of those cigars. Oh, I didn't reset the timer.

Well, you'll be fine. Alright, it's only a couple of seconds behind. Yeah. Which that's gonna be fixed.

Do you have an objection to me doing that? No, I don't care. You can get into the Octador by Case Elegant. I was gonna get into the Octador, yeah.

Octador. Did you have a lighter and cutter in the drawer? Oh, that'd be nice. You can start doing that.

As long as I get to sing like a Mr. Rogers song beforehand. It's like... I can program that in.

It's like switching on my shoes and stuff. I'm lighting a cigar. Oh, God. Okay.

All right, Mike, that's enough with the board. No, it's my board, I can do it. It's my board, I can do what I want to. You need a cutter?

No, I have one. Oh. Thank you. All right, Espinosa.

Oh, we don't have a note. Here. On with the news! I like how it cuts off so abruptly.

Well, that's because they hit the button. It'll play off and fade. You know, you can look up sounds and stuff for free and you can add them on there. I know, that's the whole idea.

As soon as I figure out how to do that, this literally got plugged in as we were starting the show. Yeah, you didn't want to do that, did you? Well, you saw the trouble we had, because I don't know what I'm doing, you just go, plug it in, just plug it in, plug it in, plug it in, plug it in, he keeps just chanting that over and over. I'm all about, you know.

And look, now the camera's not hooked to the board. If we had known, if we had a little time, we could have already had that cord ready. If you had been using Adobe Creator, it wouldn't be a problem. I think you're wrong.

I am not wrong. Espinosa Thai Tea slated for New Year's Eve release, which means it's already out there. We don't have any here. We sold them all.

Thai Tea is a new cigar made by Espinosa Premium Cigars and released via Pravada Cigar Club and the Limited Cigar Association will be getting its release on New Year's Eve. So they were made available last Thursday. New Year's Eve? Yeah.

Yeah. The cigar uses an Ecuador and Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers and has been offered at a 5x52 Robusto Vitola. Pricing is set at $10 per cigar before taxes. The cigar was made at the Lozona Cigar Factory in Esteli, although production numbers are not being disclosed.

According to a video posted by Privada Cigar Club, the cigar had originally been developed for another project, though the deal with the individual buying the cigars fell through and they became available. What? Nevermind. I was gonna make a joke, but it would get me in trouble.

Good. While such a release might normally be included in the monthly shipments to Bravada Cigar Club members, Brian Descend, Descend, did I say his last name? Descend? Said that due to limited supply, the cigars will instead be distributed through retailers that are members of the Limited Cigar Association.

Oh, we must be members of the Limited Cigar Association. We are. m. local time this Thursday, December 31st, this past Thursday, December 31st.

The Thai Tea announcement also came with news that the Limited Cigar Association is now preventing its retailers from building LCA exclusives with the other cigars in order to purchase them as well as preventing any pre-sales of LCA exclusive releases. What? What happened? It's IT announcement also came with news that the Limited Cigar Association is now preventing its retailers from building LCA exclusives with other cigars in order to purchase.

So you can't put it in a sampler? Is that what that means? I guess that's what it means. Not that we do that here.

Yeah, no, that doesn't happen. Also, Mr. Jack Taranio's birthday was yesterday. Hey!

So happy, do you do that every time there's a birthday? You do, I believe. Hey! I can program the hey and I'll use that button.

Happy birthday. Are we going to sing? Two. Anyway, Jack, happy birthday.

I understand he is 60 years old. He is. I called him. Oh, nice.

I don't have his number. Happy birthday. I wished him a happy birthday, I believe. Why do you care if you sell the cigars with other cigars?

Well, the way it reads is so you can't put the Thai tea and what is something else we got, the death buckets? Was that for them? Yeah. The way I'm reading it, you can't make a sampler of Thai tea and death buckets and charge an exclusive amount of money.

What do you care? You, you, you sold? No, but like, you sold the cigars already. I don't know, they're trying to make it sound like they're cool and they're trying to help limit how the customers can buy them and that you can't rip them off to get it.

But you sold the cigars already. Like, it's not, there's not, you know what I mean? Like, they're not yours anymore. I don't know.

They're, uh, they're mentioned in a couple other stories here for the week, the Bravada people are. Oh, they're making arounds, huh? They're, they're getting a little known or powerful or whatever you say. Ooh, Powerful.

Might want to be careful, the LCA might kick us out. Oh. A Toro Fuente ships rare pinks. The Toro Fuente rare pinks are off to stores.

Mm-hmm. We're not, we're not getting those. Last week, the company began-- We might get some on the second go-around. Second go-around.

Oh, that's it. The Cigar Hustlers, we're the second go-around. That's our slogan. The company began shipping the first four sizes of its much-talked-about rare pink vintage Those have been going-- 1960 series.

You know, outside of regular retail, like, And on the black market already? What do they call it? The second tier sales? Secondary market.

Secondary market. Yeah, they're going for a ton of fucking money. Each cigar is a perfecto-shaped size. It uses an Ecuadorian wrapper over a mixture of filler blends, including Nicaraguan tobaccos from the Fuente Farms in Esteli.

The more notable part of the project is the company is donating $13 for every box sold at the American Cancer Society, making strides against breast cancer. Liana Fuente has spearheaded the effort to raise awareness and funds through this project and others, which also include Liana shaving her head and her father Carlos Colito Jr. shaving his signature mustache earlier this month. I saw that video, he shaved his daughter's head.

Really? Yes. Wow. And then they donated the hair to the, make a wig people, I don't know.

Make a wig people? Hair for hope or something, I don't know what it's called. Hair for hope? I don't, I apologize, I'm not making fun of the hair for hope.

No, yeah, no, I mean, I mean, you can't, there's really nothing. My wife's a breast cancer survivor, so, I mean, we appreciate everything everybody does. You can't say anything bad about the whole fucking thing. I don't know.

Why would I say something bad? It's Carlito. He's my friend. I wish that we got some, but yeah, other than that.

Hopefully, we'll get some next. Next. Well, probably because John Oliva's out in the woods in a very small cabin, apparently. Have you seen all his photos?

I have seen some. Lovely views. Very small accommodations, apparently, where he's at. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

You know, makes clean up a lot easier. Like tiny. Yeah, it's okay. He did like a video, a 360 video.

Can you poop and cook on the stove at the same time? I think the stove and the toilet is the same thing. As for the cigars, there are four sizes shipping now with more planned and for the future. There you go.

Which is Cigar Hustler for the future. Please. See, there's a 4x42, 6x46, a 4 7/8x46, and a 5 1/2x53. They range from 740 to 1185.

The boxes are a bright pink color and the cigars use a modified version of the Gran Reserva band Arturo Fuente uses for. Forte, Hemingway, Anejo, and other lines. " - Hey, we're members. - Were you in the PCA?

- Yeah. - Wait, I thought the PCA closed. - No, it's there. I think we're in there still.

- Is there just one guy? - Yeah, we're still there. - We're just the one guy now? - Yeah.

- Or the four guys, I got it all wrong, I'm not sure. - Who knows? - Carry the one, subtract the four. - Yeah, it's hard to say.

All right, Aganorsa Leaf is sending Rare Leaf Reserve to select retailers. Aganorsa. Retailers. Retailers.

Retailers. Aganorsa Leaf has announced that it is creating a new line called Rare Leaf Reserve that will be hitting select stores in February. No, it's already pushed back to March. It is a cafe-colored wrapper leaf grown in Nicaragua's Alape region, a double binder of Criojo 98 tobaccos from two different farms and a filler that is mostly Nicaraguan-grown Criojo 98.

10 a box, let's see, a constant challenge is utilizing tobacco scrape blends, which are outstanding expressions of our signature flavor and aroma, while still producing them in qualities, visible to sustain production consistently, rather than just as a one-time cigar cigar. All-time, limited edition, are available only sporadically through the year. I'll take the one-time. Give me 500 boxes.

Said Terrence Riley. Terrence. Agronosa Leaf, VP of Sales and Marketing. Rare Leaf will be the first project using selections of our leaf in short supply that will be maintained in regular production.

Oh wait, he's a tall man, so he would've... Yeah, put his foot down. Ooh, foot down. Squash somebody.

First project using selections of our leaf in short supply will be maintained in regular production. In order to achieve this, Rare Leaf will be available only to Argonosa Leaf Select Retail Partners. Oh, hey, we're in one of those. We qualify there.

So, so far, we're two of the three. Yeah. We're LCA, and we are ALS. Oh, so you have to be an LCA member too?

No, LCA was a Bravada Club, people. Yeah. And then, we're not Fuente Special. No, not yet.

No, no. We're solidifying that. We are Argonosa Leaf Select Retail Partners. Yes.

We are ALSRP. A-L-S-R-P. A-L-S-R-P? Yes.

The line is produced in Essendale, the Arganosa. Why are they always capital Arganosa in this story? It's weird. I don't know.

Otherwise known as Tabico V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A Otherwise known as Tabaco, T-A-B-S-A. And selected to begin shipping in February. Yeah. They'll be here in March.

Everything's coming in March? That's how it works in the cigar industry. You save one month and it's at least one month back. Minimum.

Minimum. All right. Crux Cigars at Epigure Longsdale for? Casey.

Provide a Cigar Club. Nuh-uh. Yes. Get out of town.

The cigar is adding a Lonsdale Vitola to its Epicure line and releasing it first to Provada Cigar Club. Huh. 5x44 Vitola, a size said to be a favorite of Brian Descendingan, founder of Provada Cigar Club, so he likes Lonsdale's. Like the other size is in the line...

You gotta give it to the guy, man. That's what I said. I mean, Hall said, now he's everywhere. You know.

Comes in here, does a video, cuts you out at all. He's gonna be pissing off a lot. Yeah, it makes it all about him. He's gonna piss off some retailers.

And now we're not in the LCA anymore, right now? Well, it happens. Like the other side of the line it uses in Ecuador, we're just falling apart, left and right. Can you not rub your glasses against the mic?

Forrest Gump in our way through the cigar industry. Lower it or something. There you go. Okay, Ecuador, can I get a rubber?

Sounds the same. Not to wait for your fucking glasses. Which the company describes as a medium profile. 99 per cigar.

Casey Hogan of Crux Cigars, who is very little. They don't. Compared to Terrence Riley, he's very tall. Yeah, oh yeah.

Yes. Told Halfwheel that this is a limited release, but has not yet been disclosed how many cigars are being released, so it's limited, we just don't know how many. No one's disclosing. No.

No one's talking. No one's talking. He added that the company does not currently have a timeline to get it to regular production. I'm going to call both of those dudes.

" We don't know. This is the second time Crux has partnered with Provada Club to release a new size in the Epicure line. Oh, this is number two. The short Salamon debuted Via Privada early in 2019.

We didn't get to know. The Crux Epicure line was first introduced in 2016, but did not hit retail shelves until the end of November 2017. That's what you said earlier. Wow, so weird how that happens.

Wow, almost a year later. It's produced at Plasencio Cigars SA and Estela Nacurera. Yeah. So, that's it.

All I got. No, I got more. You better have more. There's a review that happened, and you're not gonna talk about that?

I don't think. Hold on. Hold on. I might have that.

Hold on. We can jump ahead. No, no. No, I don't have your review.

Wow. You got an 88. Congratulations. Wow.

Oh, my God. That's it. You're just gonna let it. A Toro Fuente Holiday Collection hits retailers.

Every year, a Toro Fuente releases special holiday collections of cigars that come in attractive, colorful boxes. No, no, no. I'm not listening to you. I don't care.

I'm not listening to you. The 2020 edition are no different in all except, it happened last week. All exceptions, the Fuente Fuente Opus X Series Heaven and Earth Collection features three different cigars: the Rare Black Double Corona, the Rare Black Torpedo, and Scorpio Maduro. While the Double Corona has not yet been shipped, it is expected to become available in stores February 2021, also the first appearance Scorpio Maduro has made in 15 years.

Oh, maybe we get that one. Oh, there's a lot more about these people. There will be a total of 500 red Opus 6 travel humidors. Oh.

Ooh, we gonna get that? No. No. Nah.

Each box retails... We're not on the... I think we're just officially at Opus account again. Oh.

Like this year. We'll just move ahead then. So, you know, we gotta call... When John gets out of the cabin...

When he... Small. Tiny. Tiny cabin.

When he gets out of his tiny house cabin. His little hunting latch. I wonder if he's got wheels. They just towed it.

No, no, it looks high. Oh, it's high up? Yeah. Like a condominium.

Oh, very nice. Yes. Keep you safe from the bears? The deer, I imagine he's out.

I don't know, with that rifle, he could be hunting communists or something, I don't know. Communists? Did you sing that thing he put up? No, I didn't.

I gotta look at the photo. Oh, yeah. It's part of the 360. You could almost look down the scope.

John's looking like fucking Rambo all of a sudden. Right. He has stripes on the arm. One piece, prepare for war.

Deers have to die. All right, Michael, Cuba is cutting back international flights in the new year. Who cares? Cuba probably does.

Facing a rising number of COVID-19 cases, Cuban authorities announced this week that they will limit flights from the United States and several other nations. Who would have thought that COVID's a real thing? The restrictions go into effect on January 1st, 2021, according to the Ministry of Public Health. Starting January 10th, according to the separate announcement, all travelers to Cuba must present the results of a negative COVID test administered within 72 hours before they arrive on the island.

On the island. You mean communism? They didn't just give everybody a vaccine? I thought that the government just took care of everybody.

How did they get the vaccine? We had it here. I thought they were like magical or something, you know? I mean, even the Russian guy, you know, what's his name?

Putin, whatever the fuck. Putin? Yeah, he had-- I heard he didn't take it. " You will take this now.

" Yeah, no problem. Oh, Cuba had been largely successful in containing the virus in the country. It's a communist. Oh, you have it?

Bang! Bang! Throw him in the torch. Fire.

Burn him down. From November 1st, December 23rd, according to Cuban public health data, 3,792 COVID-19 cases were reported in the nation. Yeah, I'm sure it's accurate. Officials blame the spread of the virus on Cubans returning from trips abroad or ex parte, visiting their family members on the island while not adhering to government-mandated quarantine procedures.

5% of the COVID cases were due to visitors Or the direct contact on the island. Mm-hmm. On December 27th, Cuba set a new daily record of-- I still don't understand if you're asymptomatic, can you spread it, or can you not spread it? Because if you look it up, some things say no, and then other things say yes.

Yeah, if you're asymptomatic, you still can. You can? You can. But it's not likely?

I don't know. Now it's all skewed with the shot, because one shot, 50% chance you can get it. Two shots, 95% chance you don't get it. I don't know.

Everything's crazy. That's crazy. We talked about this briefly earlier, not off-show, but we reinstituted Hulu because I did that, and we talked about this before, I tried to turn it off, and it went, hello, show, hello? Hello.

Show over here. Hey. Hey, how you doing? Anyway, I couldn't turn the Hulu off, but they gave me a three-month stay of execution, basically.

So we noticed there's been commercials for new shows again, so we turned it back on. Apparently, it's only cost me $6 a month anyway, I don't know why I turned it, not like I noticed I got $6 back for three months. six dollars back for three months i have 18 dollars i got like don't go we need your six we need your six it's actually six dollars and 81 cents oh it's almost seven almost seven twenty one dollar almost yeah anyway so we've been catching up on are you so rich that you found twenty dollars on the ground you just walk past it no i'd pick it up but i'm not i'm not going to notice if i lost twenty dollars in three months oh i might well you have goes to show We love what we're at financially. Many children, like, where's my 20?

Where's my 20? That's food for Teddy. Anyway, all these health shows are so depressing. Oh my God.

It's bad. You know what, but like, and this is, this is the fucking product of the media and everything kind of being skewed, right? So... Well, that's the point I'm getting at, that the information on every show is different.

Right. It's not even a unified thing. But it's all depressing. It's all, it's all depressing.

One show, once you start dying, there's nothing really they do for anymore. If you code, which is where your heart and everything stops beating, they don't resuscitate because as they're pressing on your chest... Right, it can spread it. Okay, that's one show.

The other show? Oh no, we're in there on everybody. Well, it sounds like the first one is Chicago. It was.

Yeah. Yeah. The second one was Grey's Anatomy. Okay.

Okay. And then we also, we were watching... So where's Grey's Anatomy? Hell, this has got to be a different state than Illinois.

Grey's Anatomy is in Seattle. Oh, Washington, okay. Yeah, Seattle, Washington up on the thing. Oh, Chicago is awesome, Chicago.

That's crazy. It's a state-by-state thing. Right, well, yeah, and the other one is the one where the doctor has autism. I don't know which one that is.

Well, okay, anyway, but that... Oh, I don't know what that is. Okay, but we watch that because my wife deals with autistic people. Right.

But they did one episode where everybody's catching it, and of course, he didn't like it because he can't be around people. But then they did a little preview thing, and the guy was talking, because he's not really autistic, obviously, he's just the actor, he said, we did our show on the pandemic, now we're going to move forward as if it has already transferred. We're moving forward. We're moving forward.

Right. So, but, apparently, okay, so nobody can go to a bar, so they do several scenes where they turn, like, the lounge at the hospital into a bar so they can all hang out together. So, I've known there's a lot of drinking when this is over by the medical people. That's what it looks like.

Because they're sitting in their offices talking to him in the day, somebody grabs the little thing, okay, let's have a drink and cheers to people that have died or whatever, but. Did you watch any of like the Dick Clark New Year's Eve shit or any of that stuff? We had the Fox one on inside the house and the Channel 2 one outside the house. Okay, I feel like they were all equally fucking depressing.

Well, I liked the Channel 2, at least what I saw before the drinking started, because they did like the highlights of 2020. Like, they talked about how Tick Tock took off. They talked about Kobe Bryant fucking. Well, yeah.

They showed that too. Right, that's my point. But they did one video of all the bad things, just one time, and then, these are all the celebrities that died, this is how it was bad, and then, okay, now we're gonna go back to watching the lady fall through the roof and her daughter's Tick Tock. Like, the whole purpose of television is kind of to suspend reality.

Yeah. You know what I mean? The Zoom thing where the guy gets up and he has no pants on, he doesn't know he left the camera on. That's pretty funny.

Yeah, they were showing that stuff. Did you see the one, I saw one where the guy thought the camera was off and went to go rub one out? And everybody's like, "No! " Oh, I've seen, I saw that one in half.

Oh my god. Yeah. But the radio, they assumed it was real. What was the logic?

Everybody's calling him going, "You're still on! " And then he runs out of the room, but he was in his, they were weird boxers, so I assume he knew. Oh, you think it was a gag? You think so?

I feel like if you stood up now and showed you had no pants on. Oh. Okay. Like at the end of the show, now I run a couple of seconds at the end of the show because we're lazy.

So as the credits start running and stuff, you know, the camera plays. I go grab my pants over there. Right. Okay.

And I rub one out. That would be with me in the room? Well, your back's turned. Oh, okay.

That'd be fine. Very fast. As long as I don't see it. No problem.

Dead air. I don't know if you do. I don't know if you watch the show, you might see it. But like, so for me, you know, it was just so depressing.

I mean, first of all, the majority of the artists were terrible. It was terrible. I mean, like, terrible. Oh, I didn't even see anybody sing.

I mean, I was cool, like, they had Nelly. That was cool. Oh, yeah? I dusted Nelly off.

Was it... Some of it was pre-recorded, some of it was live. But did he really sing, or was it... Oh, yeah, well, Nelly was really rap.

And that's the other thing, too. It's like, half of these motherfuckers are just, are off lip-sync. If you're gonna lip-sync... Be good at it.

Yeah. Breathe. Something. I mean, don't be three seconds behind like this video.

Right. Right? Exactly. People can tell.

Yeah, people will notice. Like they will notice on this video, and we will get comments on it. We know, okay? We're working on it.

We're working on it. We're trying to, you know, we're upgrading it. This is a transition thing. Looks like you can see stuff on the wall.

Is that something in the camera? No, we'll see. Shadows. It could be shadows.

Looks like there's something right here in the camera. Looks like a shadow. It looks white. Anyway, let's see, what have we got here?

One story, two stories. I just don't understand how you don't address Half-Wheel, given the War Baron 88. I'm sorry, because I started complaining on social media, and you went, nah, just let it go, so... Listen, you want to know, first of all, it was reviewed by Charlie.

Yeah, I did see somebody said it tasted like green tea and... Something, yeah, I mean, so that's Charlie, right? Right, yeah. But like...

" So Neanderthal HN got an 88 as well. Obviously, what has he scored higher? Okay, before I say he has no taste at all. What has he scored higher than 88?

You know, I think what's kind of funny is I really think that he likes a lot of shit out of the Hoya Factory. I guarantee you that something will rank one or two from Hoya. Yeah? Yeah.

Somebody just said... Like the Brulee Blue. Coop was talking about it. Yeah, yeah, that's what it was.

Okay. I think the Death Bucket 2 got a high rating. I think that's from the Hoya Factory. Oh, it is.

Yeah, it is. That's what he told us. That's what he told us. Yeah.

So, I think that they have, their pallet is designed to do it. So, what we need to do is we need to talk to Hoya. And get them to make a Hoya cigar. Make a Hoya cigar.

Oh. Send it to Halfway. We'll get 100. Oh, just a, excuse me, just a smattering of these, just to get them to review.

This is a 110. Oh. Make sure Hoya's in the name. So, yeah.

So, like, it doesn't bother. A postaña Hoya. Like, I don't, I'm not. A po Hoya.

But like, you know, I had a couple people reach out to me. I'm not upset about the fact that I got an 88, that doesn't bother me at all. Right. Well, you're in a good company, so.

And he feels like, man, that was actually how I thought of it. Like, okay, well, shit, one of the cigars that I love the best got that same number. Right, that's the same thing. You know, and he thinks that it'll sit, when it ages a little bit, it'll get even better.

Skip said the same thing. He did say that. Yes. He did say that.

I mean, you know, Skip has no bedside, man. There's a little fucking blunt force trauma. Well, yeah, he was a little bit blunt. But at this point, seven years into the game with him.

You're used to it. Yeah, I know what I'm dealing with. You know what I mean? That's how he is.

You still got a D last week. D minus. Did you try to change your work and get a better grade? No.

There's no sense in it. Well, like you said, you're going to get whatever you do anyway. Greg, did we order these? Doesn't matter.

Why do we have 700 more boxes of Havana? Because he had extras. Well, do you want to hear about, because we're not out of time now. I do.

Do you want to hear about the super gonorrhea? Ooh. Or do you want to hear about the Florida man stealing the chicken wings? Oh my God, those are tough.

Can we get both in? I want to hear about the gonorrhea first. All right. Super gonorrhea is trending on Twitter right now, Michael.

Oh my goodness. Because, well, why not? It's the end of 2020. After all, and what better thing to have trend at the end of the year?

Brought to us by COVID-19, coronavirus pandemic, a shortage of basically everything. Constant drama in the White House. A president-elect that won't end. Consider the sexually transmitted infection to be the pie a la mode.

The nightcap, the final wipe of 2020. If you haven't figured it out yet, super gonorrhea is not super to have. Not what I mean. Okay.

" No, no. Tell him or her that you have super gonorrhea would be about as positive as saying that you have sexy syphilis or candy-coated chlamydia. " Instead of supergonorrhea, results when the bacteria that causes a gonorrhea, I can't pronounce any of these words, you develop a high level of resistance to the antibiotics normally used to treat the infection, Azithromycin and Cetrazone, you're practically a doctor now, as I reported back into, let's see, this is a Forbes article, let's see, the WHO, the World Health Organization, not the band, was it such strains of gonorrhea on its world's most dangerous superbug list, when making your bucket list, don't include anything, Don't get gonorrhea. That's right.

We've run out of ways to treat your infection. Rank's up there with no one can fly the airplane or the hull of the cruise ship that you're on is made out of pickles. No one can fly the plane. The things that you don't want to hear.

Well, they're saying, uh, saying I have something off the list is up there with that thing. Right, right, right. All right, super gonorrhea is a problem. That was it.

Super gonorrhea. It's a thing, so, you know, find your partner. Let's stick with the one. Florida man wearing gloves steals all the chicken wings out of 7-Eleven.

Oh my, with gloves? With the gloves, yes. Naples, Florida. A Florida man was arrested Tuesday after stealing all the chicken wings and other hot food available at Naples, Florida.

That's so amazing. m. after a man put gloves on, took the food items, and left the store with him. You know, 'cause it's hot.

Right, yeah, it makes sense. The clerk said the man who has not been identified has been in the store before. The last time he ate three chicken wings in front of the clerk and then left without paying the employees. He must have liked them.

He ate three. He came back for the rest. Watch this. I'm going to go in there and eat these wings.

The man left the store in a car with two other people. That's why he had to get all the food this day. Oh, the friends. You know, them chicken wings were good.

You got to get them all this night. I'll just go in there. I'll take them all. Then no one's going to stop them.

Deputies later pulled over the vehicle. All three people were detained while the suspect was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Oh, but they don't know who he is. No, but they didn't at the time.

Oh. But they got the license plate of the vehicle. Did they get the wings back? Bones.

Only bones were found investigators. You know, before we go, how much? We got five minutes, four minutes, five minutes. You know, I don't know.

Oh, I started late. We have three minutes. You know, it was also kind of ironic during the whole Corona pandemic. It's still going on.

The government kind of slid in the fact that there's aliens. Did you notice that? Oh, yeah, yeah. Missile aliens.

Oh, yeah. They slid that in. I didn't see the aliens. Oh, yeah.

Oh, I remember now something briefly. Oh, yeah. By the way, there's aliens. Don't worry about it.

It's not a Deltona group for promotion of the shop or whatever, but apparently there's lights people are seeing around Deltona at night, red lights. Red lights? Red lights in the sky. Oh, that's probably just one guy with drones or something.

Well, that's probably what it is, I'm just saying, but evidently it's a thing. Or aliens. I just love that, you know, it's like, hey, you know what, the world is, if there was any time to brace somebody for it right now. There's a pandemic, everybody's dying, the president won't leave the White House.

the white house you're losing your jobs oh yeah we heard something about uh extraterrestrials area 51 that's a real thing yeah so yeah we uh we just want to know that uh we declassified a couple things and yeah there's aliens but let's talk about the toilet paper because that's a problem nice uh that was the wrong one huh there you go you don't even know i'm learning you're learning Does it just keep going? Apparently. That one lady is really funny. It went off.

There's like a little "ha" at the end. Oh man. I love this boy. Fucking aliens.

So, um, so yeah, so... Okay, on the Patreon, we're going to... The Room 101, 11th anniversary. 11th anniversary today on the Patreon, first Patreon of 2021.

Yes. I have a problem with the transition from 2020 to 2021, writing it and saying it. I had to write a couple of checks and I was like, oops, scratch. I think the whole world has that problem.

I know, it really annoys me. I don't like chains. Man, you know, 2020 went by so fast. You mean 2020.

That's what I just said. You said 2021. No, I didn't. You did.

We have it on video. We have it on tape right here. So, you're going to apologize. 2020 went by so fast.

That's what you say. But yeah, it does feel like it went by fast. I think it went by fast. Crazy.

I mean, we're literally starting our fourth year of this. Yeah, it's insane. It's insane. I got another.

It went off. The video went off. Oh, that's it. See, I told you.

Well, I guess the show ended on video at least. Doesn't matter because the sound doesn't sync up, so I'll just put something on. We'll add it afterwards. The red screen.

The famous red screen. The famous red screen to end the show. Oh, and they're not going to notice now as much. Yeah.

Back to the same thing. Right. And now I don't know what I was going to say though. So, about 2020 went by really fast.

Yes. It went by really fast. Oh, I know what I was gonna say. We have another one of The Devoted.

What? The Powstanie logo has now made another tattoo. Two, yes. Yes.

And now, we collectively call these people The Devoted. Oh, now there's two of them. You're not part of The Devoted. Nope.

You know, I actually looked into doing it on Sunday. Yeah. My wife has a guy that owes her a couple of favors. He does really good work.

Let's not get into detail about that. He did this one. No, he's a, he has a, some. It's okay.

No, we'll just leave it in that. Okay. Anyway, so she, she texted him to see if he was available and he goes, "Well, I'll get back to you," and then he didn't answer, so I didn't want to push. The last thing you want to do is push somebody to.

The tattoo guy, yeah. Yeah, push the tattoo guy. Yeah, you have a smiley face on your arm. Right, exactly.

Or, you know, it's just an arrow where I have a D. Oh, my bad. So, oops, sorry, can't erase that. " I think it was off after eventually.

Yeah, it shuts down now. How about that? All right. All right, guys, this has been episode 155.

Yeah. First show of 2021. 2021. Thank you very much.

m. for all new episodes. Hi, I'm doing, I'm Husto-E-Raw. Yeah, we just don't have to do a single, single podcast ever again.

Perfect. I'm good, Mike and Mike, how are you guys doing? The Hojo, the Hojo, it's the Hojo. He didn't even let him fuck it up all the way.

I couldn't get past Hojo! I don't even have to try it. He's not even going to try it. We're going to cover a lot of ground here, Mike.

All right. Try to keep up. That's a sign of a good podcast. It'd be like four cigars when I walked in a door.
