All of them. Oh, no. Oh, no. So, you had a busy weekend, Michael.
I did have a busy weekend. Yes. You didn't know about it. No, you didn't say a word.
You know, I can't tell you all the things that I do. You're supposed to tell me all the things. How do I tell you the things you do when I don't know you're doing the things you do when you do the things? You're the guy that kind of keeps me on track of these things.
I can't be the guy. I knew nothing about any of them. I'm just out here just doing my thing. Now, Bear had to be weeks in advance, and I mean, he didn't call me.
Oh, he was. Yeah. No, you didn't say a word. He was.
I didn't realize how it all landed. That it was all on the same weekend? Yeah. See?
But it worked out. If you would have briefed me. That was perfect. I do like your new background, your new lights and everything.
Did you see that? Yes. I added that. I did that for you.
Oh, you had no more like a hostage in Iran. Yeah, you gave me a hard time. Yes. So, I brought home the flag.
That's nice. And then I got the most fucking bougiest circle. You know, we had one of those in thanks, Thor. That's okay.
It's the business expenses. I didn't pay for it. Not this business. No, the other business.
Oh, thank God. Yeah. So, Friday night you did some type of Zoom thing. Yeah.
Well, I wanted the light thing at the house. So, now I have one. Oh, the ring light thing. Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, Mark Gordon. Right. He invited me onto his.
Oh, he has a regular Friday night thing he does. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Oh, that was pretty cool.
Okay. Very nice. Very nice people. And then Saturday?
No. Friday did the event. No, no. Friday did the event.
Oh, did you do two Saturday? Friday did the event. That's true. Saturday I did Gordon.
Yes. Sunday I did Bear. Oh. I thought Brittany put up two pictures of Zooms.
Mm-hmm. You do two Zooms in a thing? Saturday was Mark Gordon. Two Zooms in one podcast?
No. Oh. I misunderstood. Saturday was Mark Gordon.
I thought his things were normally on Fridays, though. It was a Saturday. I understand that. I don't know when he normally does these things.
How many people? For him? Yeah. I don't know, maybe nine or ten-ish.
Oh, that's a good number. Yeah. Hey, look, it could have been one, I don't give a fuck. Mark asked me to do it.
Of course I'm going to do it. Could have just been you and Mark. Sitting there naked. Now, I mean, I'm not going to lie, if it was just me and Mark and, you know, like his shirt was off, I would have been a little creeped out.
But I still would have stuck around. I just took your shirt off. Oh, okay. Oh, we're doing the shirtless.
Here we go. Here we go. Are we doing pants, Mark? It's just me and you?
Pants? Done. Like, what do you mean? Why is there lotion on the table?
What do you mean, are we doing pants? That was an option to wear the pants? No, I wasn't wearing the pants. Pants?
We're going to wear pants. I had a fun and exciting, very interesting adventure this weekend, and I would like to share it with you. An adventure? Yes.
Amongst your events and videos. Yes, yeah, of course, amongst the cigar industry fuckery, yes. Okay, certainly, please, please share. So Jack's my eldest son, he has a phone, right?
But like when I say phone, like he got Britney's, you know. You gotta hand me down. Yeah, and it's not, it's just Wi-Fi. Right.
But he loves this damn phone. He's always on his damn phone. And like one day his case broke and we didn't fix it right away. And because we didn't fix it right away, he dropped it and it cracked.
and he had to kind of suffer through the whole thing. Broken screen type thing? Yeah, yeah, yeah. With the protection glass broke or the actual screen?
The screen screen. Oh, no. So we just kind of, oh, no. See, if we would have gone over this beforehand, it would have been ready.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. See, now you're upsetting Pedro. Like, oh, no. Oh, no.
Oh, no. So eventually, I don't know if he's just started picking at it or whatever. I want to say that he started picking at it. Picking at the screen?
Yeah. Oh, I guess he can. He started removing it. Oh, that's bad.
And then it stopped working. Oh, right. So like, you know, one day he was having a meltdown. I was like, look, man, it's a fucking phone.
Mommy will get a new one. I'll get, I'll get the fucking phone fixed for you. Right. It's not a big deal.
So we went to like the you fix it, yada yada place. Right. You fix it. What?
You break it, we fix it. Yes. Yeah. And there's a kid that's, you know, half my age running the register.
Right. You know. He's doing it with his eyes shut. What just?
He's obviously like, he handles the front. Oh. Oh. He wasn't the tech guy.
Oh. But you knew that this guy, you know, he wasn't athletic, you know what I mean? Oh, okay. A little nerdy.
Yeah, there's no football or there's no sport involved. Gotcha. " Yeah, exactly. And he fits the criteria.
He's a tech guy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's no tan. Phil's laughing.
Either that or he had a convulsion. I'm not sure which one it was. So I walk in and say, "Hey, I need to get this phone fixed" or whatever. he's like what's wrong with it i think it's just the glass he's like okay um it's gonna be 175 ish is what he said right around about right it's like fuck 175 bucks a lot of money so i'm like okay uh sure sure sure yeah it's still better than getting him a phone right yeah you know they figured out where that line is right uh you know i'm like okay and he goes it'll be about one to two hours.
I'm like, shit, $175 two hours. Fuck this. I'm in the wrong fucking business. Okay, whatever.
Cool. Here, fix it. Are we now fixing phones upstairs? I need to watch a YouTube video.
YouTube? I'm sure Marcus and Keanu can do it. Get the glass repair going. Buy those kits online.
We're $150. You saved $25 today. You saved $25. You're coming to Hustler.
Comes with a new Cuba cigar. Ooh, complimentary. Yes. While you And they wait.
Oh, then they buy beer and cigars while they're waiting. That would be fantastic. Oh. So, so we go to leave.
Yes. And I'm like, and... He dropped it again. I wanted a cup of coffee.
Like, I was a little tired, pretty little tired. So, you know, we... Oh, big whole family went. Oh yeah, the squad.
Oh, everybody goes. It's like, hey, let's go, let's go to Starbucks real quick, let's get a coffee. I'm like, this is a great idea. Quick, you have two hours.
It's a fucking great idea. I'm like, yeah, we got a little time. Right. You know, what the fuck?
Let's, let's go get some coffee. So, you know, two miles down the street, about five minutes away, you know, we order our coffee, on the app, on the app, we're not sad, only way to do it, right, and I get a text, your phone is fixed, oh, after like 10 minutes, yeah, after 10 fucking minutes, you want to know how I felt about spending $175, it took less than 10 fucking minutes to get the thing fixed, you think they would have just spread it out, they could have milked it a little, something, like, I mean, hey, that's really fast, we charge, He's got $200. Yeah. Can we slow this down a little bit?
Don't call him yet. I mean, you know, you got to sell it. " Right. " Woohoo!
A little operation game back there and just hit the sides. Oh, sorry, sorry, we're still working on it, sir. " I don't know about it. How much do we charge for the ultra broken glass thing?
How do we... I don't know. Let me go in the back and see if we can fix this because I don't know. This looks terrible.
Yeah, this is a serious job. I've never seen this before in my life. You know, and go back there, laugh a little bit, and then come back out and be like, "Okay, listen, we can do it. We can do it.
It's gonna cost you $100. I'm sorry. " The guy told... No, you make it sound like you did him a favor.
" It's his first kid. It's his kid's phone. Right. You know?
And then I would have felt good about it. Right. So, we get our coffee, I walk back in. So, it's been 15 minutes tops.
Right. Same kids at the front gate or whatever, the front fucking counter. " I'm like, motherfucker. You felt like a gorilla.
I was just fucking here. How many large, angry, spiky-haired men came in with 17 children at a while? Were you fucking, like, what, what, what, there's no one else here? What's going on?
How do you not, we, I just left. I gave you the phone. Maybe the coffee cup threw him off. This was two fucking seconds ago.
What in the fuck is going on? Did you change sunglasses or something? And he's like, phone number? I'm like, I told you that too, five minutes ago.
Wow, he doesn't remember the phone number. No, but he goes, oh, hey, man, yeah, that was fast. Like, he did nothing. He's looked at me, like, please don't rob me.
Can I help you? Oh, let me see if it's ready. Because it's not like I have a phone in my hand. Right.
You know, it's like, well, what does this guy want? I've never seen this man before in my life. Oh. Fucking crazy.
It's terrible. So I get the phone. I get back in the car. Right.
Tell my son, it's 175 to get your phone fixed. Right. First one's on me. Next time, you're on your fucking own.
Oh, so now he's gotta get a job. Yeah, he's gotta get a job. Oh. We tried the bracelet sales on the- Oh, yeah.
On the side of the street action. Oh, in front of the house? Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Didn't go well, huh? No, I didn't think it would. Nah. But, you know, that's kind of hard because- Drive-through jewelry doesn't usually go well.
Like, as a parent, you know, you know that you're setting this thing up for failure, and I'm like, ah, he's got to go through it. Right. You know, like, I got to walk him through this shit so that he gets the fact that, hey, this is a waste of time, and I got to figure out a better way to go about this. Just give him a cigar to smoke while he's sitting out there?
No, I smoked a cigar. Oh, you didn't that one for him? No, not for him. Maybe a little Tatiana?
No, no, he's more of a... A little small Neanderthal? A smaller one? He likes the Mama Juana...
Oh, the Mama Juana rums. Yeah, the little rum ones. Yeah, the buy six, get one, or whatever it is. It goes good with his tequila.
Oh, yeah, that's nice. Oh, the cherry probably. He's a big pear, yeah. It's good for him.
It's quite the connoisseur. Oh, I'm sure. Yeah, not bad for nine. From a long line of cigar smokers.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, you know, we had to go through that, and... the good neighbors, the really good neighbors that we have, they, they saw and they walked by and they bought something and that was very nice. And that was the only sale.
Right. So, but you know, you got to go through that. Like as a parent and a kid, maybe have Teddy out there. Like you don't, Oh, they were all jumping and shit.
They all came out. Nobody gave a fuck. Oh, how long was he out there? Uh, about an hour and a half.
Oh, well, it's not that long. What's your rate of return on an hour and a half? Well, I'm not, he wouldn't have sold things out there for four or five hours. Yeah.
He would have been sat there for five hours, and then it would have been shit. Right. " Otter Box Defender, yeah. " So now his small phone's the size of his laptop.
Oh yeah, it's heavy, it's heavy now. It's big, it's heavy, right? It has a shoulder strap. iPhone X.
Nobody has that shit these days. iPhone X, how do you want a case? He loves that. Oh, you gotta find it on Amazon.
Yeah. Like, you can buy blue or blue. I was like, no. Take the blue one.
Take the blue one. That sounds nice. Sounds fantastic. I think I'll have the blue.
Yeah. Batteries Plus over in Sanford's a good place for phone repair. Oh, really? Yeah.
Nobody knows they fix phones, 'cause they're called Battery Plus. Do you think they charge $175 for $175? No, it's $125. That's $50 less.
$50 less. And they'll do it while you wait. Oh, so they won't give me the only two hours. They know it's not two hours.
Yeah. And the guy who's working is behind his little wallets as high, so he talks to you while he's doing it. Makes chit-chat, keeps you busy. Hey, say something about yourself.
Yeah. So, how'd you break it? Oh, yeah, that sucks. Man, I don't want to go too far into detail about this, but I got to tell you.
- Oh. - Coaching? Fucking anything? - Are you on, aren't you on hiatus right now or something?
- Oh yeah, but I'm dealing with some political fucking bullshit with the parents. - Uh oh, they're voting you out. - Holy shit! - Like, oh no.
- Right on time, that was right on time. - Oh no, I don't understand how anybody, how anybody can do this as a, as a, as a person. How do you give up? - Do, do, wait, wait, which part are they doing?
How do you give up your time and effort for coaching to always just deal with some bullshit with the parents? The kids are fine. The kids are out of control or they're not into it or whatever. Like, oh, that's fine.
I can deal with all of that. But then when I have to deal with, like, I don't have the fucking temperament to deal with this sort of thing. I'm like, I feel like I want to kick some parents' ass. Well, why are you having to deal with any of it?
Shouldn't it be the head coach who's making all this problem things go away? It is, it is, but like his, it's like you have problems, your problems are my problems. His problems are my problems. And every time I tell him that he's the head coach, he says, no, we're in it together.
We're in a team. Stop saying that. It's not fair. I told you I didn't want to do this.
You sucked me into it. Now I'm, now I can't, you know, like it's addictive. You want to see these kids do well and all that other stuff. But like, man, these parents make it fucking hard.
Terrible, terrible parents. I'm just gonna say right now, if you're a coach, let's wait for the camera three, let's wait for the camera three, there it is, ah, thank you, if you're a coach, and you, you know, you coach your kids, one way or the other, you know, God bless you, it's, it's the, one of the most unrewarding things from other parents, they don't, there's zero fucking gratitude, and they're still gonna shit on you in the end, so, you know, good for you, good for you, you deserve, So you have more credit than you get. Did you coach any teams growing up for your kids? No.
Well, Jake was the one that did it most. Well, wait. No, no. Connor did baseball, and then Jake did football.
I sub-coached for Jake a couple of times when I'd go down to visit. I'll tell you what, baseball's even fucking worse. I don't know how anybody does baseball. Oh, it's terrible.
You have games in the middle of the week, you have practices all the fucking time. All the time, all the time. Yeah. No, no, no.
No, no. No, no. And we would go an hour early because Connor wasn't any good at baseball. Son of a bitch.
" Wow. Like, you get, you get like- Get involved with the kids, yeah. You get so invested with these kids, and then like when these parents fuck with you, I'm like, "Well, I'm just gonna take your kid. " He's mine.
You can't have them anymore. You don't deserve him. You don't deserve this child. I will take them.
I will take this child and it will be mine. He will live with me. Right. I'm all with you.
72 of them. 72 kids on your football team? Well, here's the thing. The way that this is played out, I'm an asshole is how it plays out.
My kid is advancing into the first and second grade realm of the flag football. And then my friends, the head coach, his kid is in pre-K, so he's still in the pre-KK category. So the idea was, hey, if we're going to invest time with these kids and we're going to keep teaching them the game, then like, you and I will coach both teams, we'll separate it into two teams and we'll work together and do the whole thing. Age-wise?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. And I'm like, okay, sure, you know. That's a lot of work.
Yeah, like, you do a lot of ridiculously stupid things for these kids is what I'm saying. Right, certainly. Like, you go out of your way, and just to kind of get, like, shit on, I'm like, hmm, I don't know how I feel about that, so. Or no pay.
No pay. Zero. Zero. I don't care about the pay.
No, but I mean, you're giving up your time, and then the parents are still yelling at you, and it's not like they're paying you. And it's like, it's interesting, because there are parents that you thought that kind of were on your side, but they're not on your side. No, they're on the side of the child. Their child.
No, no, it's not about the child. It's about what they think is best for the child. It's about guaranteeing a championship for the child. It's very...
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's terrible. Very interesting.
Very interesting. So, that's my stories for this weekend. Bear was amazing. Bear, Bear, I don't understand how the fuck Bear does it.
He has so much information. He's so entrenched. It's a little long. It is.
But it was a good show. Now, I did- You watched the show? This morning after I found out you were on. Oh.
Sure, I figured I'd come up on the show. I do my research for the show. There were some sections I might have maybe fast-forwarded every once in a while. Every once in a while, just a little bit.
Oh, hmm. Why would you do that? Because most of the things you talk about, you and I have already talked about, I've heard you talk about with other people. Ah, so you're already well versed on these things.
Yes. All that is, all that is Michael. But you didn't, did you hear me talk about the BDP? Yes, yes I did.
Yes I did. Because I didn't talk about the BDP. Right, so you made a point to talk about it in his. I appreciate that.
Yes, yes. I mean, the BDP also has a story and it has a soul, and I did not include that in my previous, I don't know why I didn't. I was just kind of, I don't know, I don't know, but the BDP, should I tell the story of the BDP? Uh, everybody who watches our show knows the story.
Are you sure? Sure. Did you talk about the who shot ya? Yeah.
Did I? Okay, I must have fast forwarded through that. Yep. Cause I heard the banger ring part, and then I must have fast forwarded through the who shot ya.
Yeah. I didn't listen to the thing about the presidents, I zipped through that. Oh, the presidents was great. Uh, well, I figured I wasn't.
I got the question right. Oh, did you? Yeah. Oh, good for you.
Good for you. I think right after the president, you went into the BDP, I believe. Oh. Was there any mention of the podcast?
I mean, granted, everybody knows you, we do the podcast by now at this point, and he did introduce you as that person, but there was no discussion of the new set, or? He did. He said he liked the new set. I don't know if he said, I think he said that when we were recording.
Oh, I didn't hear anything about the, uh... He said he likes the new layout, for sure. Oh, good. He also said that, you know, that we are the number one show on Podbean.
Oh, did he? He's like, you know, yeah. Oh, good, good. Yeah, no, I honestly don't think that there is anybody in this industry that, and you know, I'm not shitting on anybody because everybody kind of has their niche as far as media, but Bear is just like fucking next level when it comes to information and being on top of all of it.
What's he do for a living, any idea? I have no idea. We should probably ask, I should probably know that by now. Yeah, well, you can find out in Vegas when we see it.
Hey, so what do you do? Sort of like go around the room. Because I found that interesting what they do other than, because, I mean, they make money. He had sponsors all up the butt there on that show.
Yeah, yeah. Dunbarton Tobacco. Dunbarton Tobacco, Drozda, I don't know, was San Latino a sponsor? He mentioned their factory 17 times.
J. Fernandez. Oh. He mentioned that factory because of bangering.
Right, but then he kept using it as his example of a large factory, which is fine. I just thought maybe he had some connection to the. Maybe. I don't know.
maybe who knows maybe who knows nobody's gonna know who's gonna know nobody's gonna know they're gonna know that one tastes like phil too the drink yeah yeah yeah that one tastes like phil oh nice that's very loud it's a go to asmr show now oh good i'll find that tomorrow i'll just put that over there you're right yeah last week is where you left it too i cleaned up everything no you did it yes that is where that was that was not mine yes it was i'm gonna tell you right now i cleared my cello and everything else that was on this counter and i threw it all the way that was not mine that had to be chet's from your fucking shit show no because it was there tuesday michael must have missed it no i didn't yeah no i'm telling you right now i sweep and clean in here every day you missed it wasn't me it was you it wasn't me Fucking Xycar Scissors, man. I'm so, so upset about this. Because they're too tight? No, they keep breaking.
I got that new set, that new one busted. What do you do to those things? I've had the same pair ever since I got them. That was the original probably elite squad pair.
These are the new fucking, hey, how do we make these so they break pair? Oh, so you had to buy more ovens. I need them on standby. I had one on standby.
I need the disposable ones. Like, what happened with the last one is, these things, like, they, it totally separated. Like, if you look on Bear's show... That's why all of yours...
Oh, did it break during the show? No, right before I went to go cut a cigar and I said... And so, like, the, I had two different sides of this damn thing. Oh.
It was crazy. Yeah, and then I was like, I can get it back together and take a little hammer to it. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Oh, yeah, it won't take a break.
You never put it back together. I'm just gonna build like 20 of them and then send them all to Zycar. I'm like, these are all fucked. Oh.
Oh. They don't care. They don't. No.
Well, I got them back. No, never. You never see them again. That's how that works now?
Yep. Warranty for life means eh. Yeah, Pete's got a broken one over. That's not a Zycar though, Phil.
Yeah. That's one of those ones Greg talked you into buying. It's got an American flag. Alright, should we just get out of the news?
We're at 25 minutes here. And you know how he is. America. Yeah, we have two lovely Florida stories at the end of the show.
Oh, lovely Florida stories. One of them was sent by listeners. The listeners now enjoy sending me Florida stories. That's nice.
Yes. Do you have a listener of the week? Certainly. We'll make it the young lady that sent me the story.
Brittany? No, I wasn't Brittany this week. Oh. Interesting.
Nope. From all over the world. From the four corners of the world, all the cigar industry news you could possibly need. The Cigar Hustler Podcast Report with Mike Toon.
The 724 The Hustler Five & Dime, PCA exclusive. In recent years, a number of companies have tried to help entice retailers to attend the annual premium cigar association convention trade show by offering limited edition cigars that can only be ordered at the show. In 2021, the 724 joined the group of companies participating in the unofficial program by way of the 724 The Hustler Five & Dime. It is an extension of the company's The Hustler line, which debuted in November 2012 and got its name from one of its 724 brands.
Original lines dating back to the late 19th century. I picked this because they say Hustler several times. Yes. When the Hustler was released, Kurt Kendall, owner of the current incarnation of a 724, said he selected its original box art because it almost leaps off the shelf as he described it.
Leaps. Leaps and bounds. The artwork shows Dandy in full stride, toting a carpet bag and briefcase with newspaper and bumble chute under each arm. The jaunty angle of the cigar is his grin, says the guy's hustle in more ways.
More than one. Oh. This is mostly PCA news. PCA is not next week, the week after.
I know, it's creeping up. Yeah, next week will be our long-awaited PCA preview show. Oh, we have one of those. Yes, we're having one next week.
I didn't know, we almost did it this week, but next week seems like it'd be better. Yeah, I think you have. And then we'll have the PCA post-show when we come back. Oh, a little review.
Yes. And then we'll have the PCA post-show Patreon. Yes. Where we get into the real details.
Yes. Oh, we'll have a pre-PCA Patreon next week, too. A pre-PCA Patreon? Yes.
Oh. Yes. I like that. Yes.
Martinez Cigars will release La Bodega series. La Bodega. Rikki-tikki. Rikki-taki?
Rikki-tikki? Well, I was thinking of Rikki-tikki-tavi, the weasel thing that kills the snakes. Taki-taki-rumba. Yeah.
At the PCA 2022, for its newest line, Martinez Cigars pay a tribute to New York City's staple with La Bodega series, which will kick off a cigar called Rikki Taki. Rikki Taki. Rikki Taki, T-A-T-A-I. That will debut in 2022 BCA convention.
Takai? Rikki, Rikai Takai? I have no idea. I just like the fact that I can fuck with you.
Rikai Takai, I like that. It's the new Rikai Takai. Do you have any Rikai Takai? The Rikai Takai is a 5x50 Rebuso that uses Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and filler that includes Nicaraguan seco and Lajero, along with Dominican Lajero.
Very Busy Cigar, too. It's almost a contest to see how much they can get put in. Poor Bear. " I saw.
I saw that part. I'll let that part. I was like, "No. " Everybody's flying to Nauru looking for that tobacco farm.
Looking for that one tobacco farm. It's around here somewhere. It's around here somewhere. It's gotta be.
Maybe the BDP took all the tobacco and they just closed the fire. I can taste the Latverian sun-grown in this. Like, absolutely. It's very good.
You know, and you need permission from Dr. Doom in order to get it done. The company calls the blend medium-to-full strength with a profile highlighted by notes of roasted peanuts, cream, and sweetness with hints of oak and spice. Sounds delicious!
Like a dessert! Tiki Taki. The... Rassai Takai.
The Rassai Takai. The Rassai Takai. It's priced at $11 per cigar and offered in bundles of five. The paper that wraps the pack is designed to elicit memories of how sandwiches served at bodegas are wrapped.
Memory. And the cigar getting its name from the Rassai Takai sandwich. Rassai Takai. The company describes the sandwiches being able to serve as both a late night snack and morning meal and consisted of seasoned ground beef with shredded cabbage, onions, tomatoes, and topped with mayonnaise, ketchup, and a sliced boiled egg on a toast or roll.
Wait a minute, wait a minute, hold on, hold on. The company calls the blue mayonnaise, roasted peanuts, cream, and sweetness with a hint of oak wooden spice. The sandwich is ground beef with onions and tomatoes and mayonnaise. I don't think they taste the same.
Nah, yeah, it doesn't, it doesn't sound like they coincide. No, it doesn't sound like they, I don't, maybe it's just the paper. you know i don't fully understand how pca hasn't really organized some type of thing where we're like just burned at the stake when we walk in we talk so much shit about everybody you know like we just make fun we just poke you see they shared my uh my instagram post with the bdp oh yeah yeah that's nice obviously they don't check they don't check those things at all no oh you said pca just share we didn't know they're not avid listeners you know well still i mean it was it was the The picture with the big BDP cup and the cigar next to it. Nice.
It's not like it wasn't obvious. Oh, okay. All I did was put PCA on them. Boop.
PCA. @PCA. @PCA. @PCA.
For those not familiar with bodegas, they're small owners. Bodega. Bodega. They're small owner-operated convenience stores that are fixtures in the neighborhoods.
In addition to a typical convenience store offerings, they also provide a number of household goods. Who cares? This is what, a bodega is like a convenience store. Yeah, couldn't, you just said that.
Okay, great. Was that Charlie? Charlie, Charlie, Charlie. If you came here for information about this cigar, prepare to be disappointed.
All right, the Yaya is this. Oh, the Yaya. Oh, I love the name. S.
at the PCA 2020. S. Guillermo. S.
debut in the next month's 2022 PCA Convention and Trade Show. S. debuted through the United Cigars. He picked a hell of a time to fucking drop that cigar in 2019, right into 2020.
As for the blend, it's made a Tabla Calera Magia Cubana and uses an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper over a Dominican-Cuban binder in three, three, Michael, three different Dominican fillers. Wow, also not Latvarian. No, or from the island of Nauru. It is offered in four sizes, including a 4x54 short Robusto Vitola that will only be offered to retailers who place orders during the trade show.
So there's a Yaya Short, a Yaya Robusto, a Yaya Toro, and a Yaya Gordo. 99 per cigar, much lower than the average cigar. Do you see if Phil's busy fucking around on his phone? He is, he's not even paying attention.
He's had the same camera angle after the last 45 minutes. I didn't think so, I didn't think it's really wrong. He didn't even change it, now he's going to change it. I think he's playing video games.
I don't know what's going on. He just clicked back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. At least one other Yaya Vatola. I mean, I'm fighting for you to have a soundboard over here, and you're over here doing it.
Yeah, now you're over here playing Donkey Kong or something on your phone. Fucking Angry Birds. At least one other Yaya Angry Birds, that's what I was thinking of. Churchill is sold in the Dominican Republic, but it's not part of the US.
Oh, okay. No Yaya Churchill. Yaya Churchill, a limited release. Yaya Toro, Yaya Gordo, no Yaya Churchill.
No Yaya Churchill. The 2022 PCA Administration, again with the date. Charlie, everybody knows the date by now. Kwisada Oktoberfest 2022.
He likes to fill it. He's got to have some content. But it's always the last line of every single story. He's got a fucking hate hour.
That's why he doesn't talk to me. He never talks to me. You know, at the TP, it was the first time I actually had a conversation. And you're like, wow, he's human.
Wow, look, he's on. Now this one, he's just going to give me the finger every time he walks by. Yeah, you know, you just never know what type of Charlie you're going to get. You can get a nice Charlie.
You're a complete asshole, Charlie. That's not on silent. You can hear the rabbit. Don't walk in front of the camera, Phil!
Oh, he changed his shot. Changed his shot, that's nice. com. Isn't that the website nobody likes?
Or is that Cigar Press? com, Best Cigar, you know, they're all like this Inner Sanctum Cigar Illuminati. Last year, October, your 10th anniversary release. This year's blend will use a Mexican San Andreas wrapper over Dominican binder and fillers from Dominican Republic.
Must be a lot of extra tobacco in Dominican. Everybody's got Dominican tobacco in their cigar now. Maybe. It's possible.
com. com's Elite Advantage Program, a loyalty program. You must be elite. Or, and loyal.
Elite loyal. Elite loyal. Quisada says that the 300 packs of 10 cigars will be offered to elite, advantage, platinum, ooh, platinum members. I really can't stand anything that's called elite.
I just think it's fucking sounds terrible. It sounds so unoriginal, you know? See, there's- Elite car cleaning. Like, are you really not elite?
I mean, like, you know, elite gym. That was where you went? Can we go back to the drawing board on that one? Maybe you should stick with AAA Cleaning or AAA Loyalty Program or AAA Loyalty Program.
I'm part of the Elite Loyalty Program. See, they have... Excuse me. Excuse me.
I like this story. Okay, go ahead. They have a... So anyways...
Wusata Oktoberfest Puffarian, an Oktoberfest Das Boot, an Oktoberfest Uber. Oh, that one you use your phone and it arrives. Yes, yes, you can order that one over the phone. Oh, okay.
85, too, very reasonable for a ride. You have to use your mask in order to get in it. And a prost. Both the DAS boot and the Uber patrols increased five cents per cigar, well, gas tax.
Yeah. Gas surcharge. It's inflation. Variant size did not increase in price, no.
We'll keep that one the same, even it up across the board. Right. Yeah. And it's, it's the smallest one.
S. will receive $800. So they struggle on raising that price, is what it is. Yeah.
S. will receive 800 boxes of each size as it's released, which is scheduled to ship in September. I don't, I don't know this man's name, so. Warfighter Plans Victory 4th Edition Hero Sports for PCA 2022.
Oh. Warfighter's the guy from the show about the motorcycles. This is all terrible news. It's all PCA news.
What do you want? It's all I got is PCA news. This is exciting. I got PCA news.
But we're only 30 minutes in, we gotta do something. Warfighter. Go ahead, tell me about the warfighting. Well, he made all the announcements for the big brands already.
These are the smaller brands. Oh, no. They don't, they don't, you know, he's gotta tell it about everybody. You gonna take a nappy?
Go ahead, continue. Now you're just being rude. Now they can't see your face in the shot. Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead.
I don't even know what camera he's using this morning. Oh, it's just on you. I don't want to see him, see me sleeping. Alright, we're gonna...
Warfighter. No, I want to hear about the Warfighter. No, no, fuck you. Oh, fuck me.
Oh, wow. Super aggressive Michael Palmer. Tell me, please. Florida man credits his lottery scratch-off win to his pregnant dog.
His pregnant dog. Very short story, but here we go. 42-year-old Florida man won a whopping $2 million playing the cash scratch-off game. It's a damn shame what they did to that dog.
Leonard Linton of Panetta, which is located in northern Florida, He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time lump-sum payment of $1,645,000. I'll take it right now. Linton credits his win to a small pregnant Dodgian named Ivy, as he says he received a call that Ivy wasn't feeling well and took a different route home to get her quickly, ultimately making a quick stop at a convenience store he doesn't normally go to. So they called the man.
Yeah. Your dog's not doing well, she probably, you need to come home. You know what, I think I have time for a lottery ticket. You know, let me go check this out.
I think I've got time to stop here. God, me again, if you can hear me, I need a scratch-off ticket that's a winner. I'm going to stop and get a scratch-off, if you could take care of Ivy for a few more minutes, please. And my Dotson, my puppy, it's very sick, and I don't know how I'm going to pay for this.
So if you can make this work, I'll do something very nice. With the money. No more masturbating. I'll credit the dog.
Oh, no more masturbating. Give it up. Oh. Give it up.
In front of the dog. The dog will not watch me do it anymore. There will be no more peanut butter in my house. He's only using your camera today, I don't know what it is.
I'm a handsome man. Oh, obviously. Yeah. Phil's getting so mad.
Phil, you okay back there, Phil? Phil's leaving. Phil has left the building. Turn up your mic so we can hear the reverb.
Turn up your mic so you can say something. You've been on the camera plenty. You've been on the camera plenty. Thanks, Phil.
You've been on this camera plenty! Right. Goddammit. Walton County, Florida Sheriff's Office in Florida searching for young adults who they say broke into an $8 million seaside home, threw a party, vandalized the property in the process, and posted video evidence on social media.
Oh, they're gonna get caught. I got news for you. The Walton County Sheriff's Office posted videos from the open house party to its Facebook page on Monday in hopes of people involved, around 200 young adults would come clean, in parentheses, in parentheses, and turn themselves in. An open house party is against the law, says the sheriff's office.
$8 million home. An open house party and a home you break into is burglary. Burglary. The Post said they discovered the illegal party after the sheriff's office received a noise complaint from security in the area of South Walton, which is about 30 miles from Panama City Beach.
They were called to Blackwater Street in Watercolor, a beachside community that features luxurious resorts, according to his website. It's hilarious. The owner of the home didn't know anything was happening because they were out of town. When the law enforcement arrived, party goers left the scene.
How do you? Okay. I watched the video. They had boxing.
That's amazing. How do you have an eight million dollar home and not a fucking alarm? Well, on ground security is who called the police. That sounds like a lawsuit to me.
Man, you guys really fucked up. Oh, yeah, you think so. I mean, it was time for them to trash the house. On-ground security, what the fuck were they up to?
Let's see, they said the evidence from the party was easy to find, since those that broke in posted their own evidence on social media. Oh, no. They tagged the place. They said, "Videos are circulating on Snapchat, Instagram, and other social media platforms, with some of the highlights, including some of the people attending, turned the foyer of an $8 million home into a boxing ring.
Videos and photos showed young adults smoking in what appeared to be a theater room, drinking, boxing, and play fighting. One photo showed a male wearing a handful of gold rings he found in the home. The sheriff's office is now asking those who ransacked the home to come forward themselves before the evidence does it for them. Uh-oh.
Here's another sliver of information. Snapchat isn't private. Those videos don't really go away. They don't?
Nope. You may think if you're a teenager, someone in their early 20s, you're not worldly. Your friends will snitch. Word gets out, you'll be tagged in pics on the gram.
Also, we can subpoena a Snapchat. Said Mr. Guillermo of... Mr.
Guillermo of Warfighter Cigar. No, that's not what he's on Warfighter. He is today, because we've run all the stories together. Warfighter.
And he's gonna go, ya-ya, ya-ya. Tiki-taki. Tiki-tiki, right. Tiki-tiki.
Riki-taki-taki. Let's see... The owners of the house told local news that the home is currently up for sale and they plan on pressing every civil and criminal charge possible against every single one of the damn kids that were in the house that committed burglary in my home. You got damn right.
Walton County Sheriff's Office, Corey Dobidina? Dobidina. Dobidina. We're going with Dobidina.
Dobidina. Apart from the damage caused and the item stolen, it's a complete violation of someone's home that you can't put a price on. And the security guards really fucked that up. It's not even so much about the items at this point, it's about what was stolen or what was destroyed, it's about the people going into your closet, trying on your clothes, and people being in your bathroom, in your bed, and all of that.
I'm sure they had nice clothes too. Thorpedina told the Florida station. The sheriff's office said they know someone made a flyer for the party and passed it around. Now they want to find the person who made that flyer.
Uh-oh. Uh-oh. If you have information regarding this incident, please contact the Walton County Sheriff's Office at 850-892-8111. Or you can remain anonymous by calling the Emerald Coast Crimestoppers.
Oh. Well, since you didn't want to hear any more of the stories, we're done. Listener of the week is? Listener of the week is Amanda Morris!
Oh, the person who ran over Wabi. Yes, yes. She says she has an outline. Yeah, she has an outline.
How do you know? She can't message you. You know, she's not allowed. You're right.
You have a shot of the week, Michael? Nope. Nope. Nice.
New Shop of the Week this week. You can't even stretch it out another minute, huh? Nah, yeah, I don't have a Shop of the Week. Oh, Shop of the Week.
What are you going to do next week when it's all PCA news? I'm going to be excited about this next time around. Oh, next week? Just for you, I'm like, oh, oh.
We're going to have a map, show where we're at, and everything. We're going to tell you, I'm going to be like, you're going to say, Warfighter Cigars is releasing, and I'm going to be like, oh. Oh, my Lord, Warfighter! Again, I love that.
I can't wait, it's been so long. I have, since last week, you asked me if there's any cigars that I would like to get. Yeah. I have a list now.
Oh. I went through everyone. I asked you? Yes.
Oh. Because you just, even at the meeting, do you stop paying attention to me anymore at all? I mean, you came up with the story, you asked me. Maybe I have brain damage.
You said normally you have like a list of things that you would like to get at the things or any cigar that you were looking for. Yeah. And I had not gone over the list yet. So what are you interested in?
We're going to do that next week, Michael. Okay. It's on that pile of paper right there behind Phil's head. Okay.
Unless you want to do it today to fill time. No, that's good. All right, we got Phil read it. Yeah, we'll make Phil read that tomorrow or next week.
Tomorrow? Oh. All right, so this is it then. This is it.
This is it. This is it. Short, sweet, simple, filled with content. This is episode 234 and a half.
If you want to listen to this and then go listen to Bear's podcast, that's plenty of content. Oh, that's a lot of Michael. Yeah. All right.
What? Thank you, and goodbye. Thank you, and goodbye. Thank you, and goodbye.

I'm good, Mike and Mike. How are you guys doing? The Hojo, the... Hojo!
It's the Hojo! He didn't even let him fuck it up all the way. I couldn't get past Hojo! I don't even have to try it.
He's not even going to try. We're going to cover a lot of ground here, Mike. All right. Try to keep up.
That's a sign of a good podcast. It would be like four cigars when I walked in a door. All right, end this.
