ACHP Episode 481 Old Man Dementia Fighting

ACHP Episode 481 Old Man Dementia Fighting

Transcript

Welcome to a Cigars for Podcast

episode 481.

I'm Mike Palmer, your host, and

with me today is Why is it stuck

on you?

Just.

We have new equipment.

We're working this out.

We have no Phil today.

He's on the set of his new movie

Phil and the Seaman and Nautical

Adventure and then as my Co host

Mikey Stefankevich.

Hi, it's me, OK.

On today's show, now even water

isn't safe, we have a Mideast

travel update, old people are in

the news again.

And then one kid in Louisiana

took the term Play misty for me

way too seriously.

Oh, that sounds interesting.

Then in cigar news, we have APCA

cigar announcement. 2 Queens

will be here soon and we are

back on in Oregon.

OK.

And then we wrap up with the

what's the score?

I don't know how we're going to

do that.

You're going to play against

yourself.

I guess.

All right, before we get

started, Michael, how do we get

some of that chapter Pond hat

swag?

What you want to do is check out

Chapter pod.com where you can

get all of our swag.

Might go ahead and talk so we

can show that hat off.

Oh, here it is.

Look at that, that's beautiful.

We only have a few of those

left.

Make sure you check those out.

If you buy 1 you get the 2nd

140% off.

We have brand new lighters as

well, triple torches that say

smoke and subscribe and single

flames.

So jump on it while the swag

still there because they sell

out.

Did Fran Stiletto get his

letter?

It shipped I think yesterday

all.

Right, I didn't know if you knew

where I kept him.

That's why I asked.

Gotcha.

OK.

All right, now I'm with the.

What should we cover my YouTube?

Oh yeah, I do the comments,

sorry.

Let's see here.

What do we got today?

Feels.

So weird without the microphone.

We had AI know I love.

It I missed the microphone?

We had a lot of comments.

There was an old one.

Yeah, Jason at Jason Ritchie

commented on the Skip Martin

Roma craft interview, said great

interview fellows learned a lot.

Thank you.

There was one on when what's his

name died?

The Wrestler.

Oh, that.

Yeah, but those are shorts.

On episode 479, Francis Siletto

said.

I cannot have replace Phil.

Oh, that's an old one.

Was the night yesterday David

Morris 7700 says at 6:42.

I see Palmer didn't red light

today.

The air strikes in Iraq have

killed the militia members.

Brother, come out of 2003 and

join us in 2026.

I don't get that because the new

setting killed the militia

members.

Because you said militia like

militia members.

That's what they called them.

It's the Iraqi militia, OK Or

Iran militia, I don't remember.

I can't remember who were

fighting.

All right, so David Morris and.

550I proved you wrong.

Wow and that's all I got for

today.

I thought I had more, but the

other ones 1 was like you said,

the Hulk Hogan short clip and

the Burger King says somebody,

Paul Kovacic 3686 says it's the

worst fast food outfit on the

planet when it comes to Burger

King.

So today we have no mics.

We're working on our own.

We're working on wireless mics.

We've got some upgraded is,

we've got some upgraded stuff

equipment.

Thank you.

And we have replaced Phil with

the upgraded equipment today.

Yeah, there's nobody switching.

There's no one switching we're

doing.

So it's going to be a little

odd.

It's going to be perfect.

It's going to be the greatest

switching ever.

Ever.

I don't have it as part of the

news, but there is a burger war

going on.

Really.

Yes, between the arch and the.

Between the arch and the King.

So did you see the video where

the president of McDonald's

tasted the arch?

Yeah, you half assed.

Took a bite.

Took a tiny little bite.

Yeah, OK, well, the King went

and did.

The president of the King went

and did a video and he just bit

the shit out of the thing in a

whole big bite.

Now they're saying there's

conspiracy theories because the

owner of McDonald's keeps

calling it product doesn't call

it burger, Right?

Like maybe there's no burger in

it.

Interesting.

And then, not to be outdone, the

owner of Wendy's came in and he

bit half of his in one Pike.

Oh nice.

You know, it's funny what what

trends and what goes viral so.

Right.

Yeah, I like it.

I like they're all fighting.

Hey, yeah.

And if the arch is available,

I'm down with trying that thing.

Well, I told you it's out.

Yeah, it's out.

I had Burger King last night in

the car, but I didn't they

didn't have the new water.

After you had yourself a cry.

No, no, the last stop was a good

stop.

Yeah, OK.

That's why I put them for last.

Well, they were second to last,

but I put them at the end.

Jacksonville is huge.

Right I.

Didn't really tell I was almost

in Georgia.

I think it's like the largest

city in Florida in the.

US oh in the.

US like as far as size or it's

up there, it's like top three.

Every time I looked, it was an

hour to get to the next shop.

Yeah, I'm like, this is

ridiculous.

Jacksonville's gigantic yeah.

All right, down with the news.

More than 66150 thousand plastic

waters, bottles of water are

being recalled.

OK, now you can't even drink

water.

Why not?

How could they ruin water?

I don't know, I'm sitting like

this today.

According to Food Drug

Administration, Wisconsin based

Valley Springs Artesian Gold is

recalling six of its products

after they were bottled in under

in sanitary conditions.

OK, what is that was somebody

didn't wash their?

Hands.

Somebody was dirty, yeah.

It's terrible.

Now you get no water.

So what's the bottled water

company?

Wisconsin based Valley Springs

artesian gold.

I don't think we have that down

here.

I don't think we have that

either, but Romatron probably

has that.

Oh, he might have it.

Yeah.

You think he's?

Romatron, don't, don't drink the

insanitary water.

Anything else about that, how it

happened or?

According to the FDA enforcement

report, the recall of 651,148

bottles of water was initiated

in February 6th.

No, they don't explain how it

happened just in sanitary,

that's a.

Ton of water.

That I know.

That's over a half a million

bottles.

Yeah.

Would you drink the water?

Probably.

If you had the Valley Springs

water, you got the notification.

Would you just drink the water

anyways and the whatever?

Probably.

Yeah.

I mean, other than us, we talked

to us before.

Other than us mention it on the

show, we wouldn't hear about it.

Right.

Well, 'cause I'm, but you know

about it now.

Well, I mean, I, I see now I'm

in the circle of trust with FDA.

Apparently I get all these

notifications when anytime

anything is recalled, right?

And this isn't going to kill

you.

It's not a level 1, right?

Which is weird because now we

know the levels.

Right.

So yes, what's it going to give

me diarrhea?

I have diarrhea most of the time

anyway.

How do I even know?

Like I'm into these fig bars.

OK.

Well, apparently if you eat too

many fig bars, it gives you

diarrhea.

But they're delicious.

They come two in a pack and

they're low calorie, you know,

low sugar, no added sugar or

anything.

They're really good.

But when I went out last week, I

ate six in a day and then I shit

for two.

Days.

Holy moly, dude.

Well that's all he took is a

snack.

I take snacks and I don't stop

and eat during the day.

OK, that's smart.

Yeah, I take snacks and drinks

and then if I'm really hungry,

last night I had a headache at

8:00, so I drove through and got

chicken Nuggets at the Burger

King Life.

Of a road warrior right there,

buddy.

So why don't you bring like beef

jerky or you know.

I don't like beef jerky, it

always get stuck in my teeth.

You're a teeth guy.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a teeth guy.

I don't like that.

Well, like yesterday I took

chicken.

What else did I had I had I had

one pack of the fig bars left

granola or what?

Now what's what's the kind bars?

And there was one other thing.

Oh, and some watermelon.

Some watermelon.

So you didn't have the

watermelon or the?

I had everything.

Oh.

As the day, you know, breasted.

But I eat breakfast at 4:00 in

the morning.

By 11 I'm starving.

Right.

So, OK, so water's a problem.

What is the problem up there?

Don't eat.

It but not big.

Don't eat it.

I don't drink it.

But don't.

But if you had it, you'd drink

it anyways.

I wonder if the bottles are just

dirty, like they forgot to wash

the bottles.

You know, like what's the level?

Like how bad could this be?

Right.

I mean, they didn't wipe the end

of the hose off before they

started squirting into bottles.

Yeah, I don't know, could be.

Didn't clean the tanks.

Yeah, that's just weird that it

left it so vague.

Yeah, I mean, there there's no

like E coli, listeria, like

everybody else gets on their

food.

Right, they would tell you.

Yeah, they have to tell you,

right?

Freedom of Information Act.

All right, now for a Middle

Eastern listeners.

The Hamad International Airport

closed flights temporarily on

Wednesday.

Really.

So if you're over in that part

of the world and you had a

flight planned out of the Hamad

International Airport, I'm very

sorry.

Operations remain temporarily

suspended in line with the

closure of the Qatar airspace by

the Qatar Civil Aviation.

Oh, Qatar is closed, Yes.

Well, the airspace.

Well, that's interesting because

why?

Why would they close their

airspace?

Are they that close?

Yeah.

Well, you never know where

they're going to shoot a missile

now.

You think they shot?

Maybe they're.

Just shooting them everywhere at

this point.

I think they could have shot

down a commercial plane.

Oh, I'm sure they'd love to.

I had.

I think that's happened in the

past.

I have no drink at all.

Accidentally.

Oh, that makes me happy.

You sit there and suck down your

water.

Yes, So what?

I heard yesterday on the radio

for our war update as apparently

we have wiped out their Navy.

We have wiped out their air.

Force the one boat, the one

plane?

No.

No, they had more.

They had, I think they had five

boats and a submarine took that

out too.

I think Pakistan took out the

submarine.

Yeah.

So anyway, there, yeah, there's

there's no Navy, there's no Air

Force anymore over there,

apparently.

Israel, have you have you seen

the video?

Israel has lasers that shoot

missiles out of the sky.

Really.

Have you seen the video?

The video was amazing.

That's their air defense system.

Right.

So they show this, it's dark,

they show this missile coming

over, and then this thing comes

up and it charges and then

shoots his laser beam hits a

rocket, blows up.

Are you sure it's real?

It's not AI.

It was a news thing.

Yeah, I know.

It's.

Hard to tell anymore.

Are you OK with the nose man?

You've been hitting the nose,

man.

Mustache a lot my.

Mustache is twisted and it's

tickling my nose.

All right, Well, I mean, get it

together.

Your wife will call him a minute

a hard time.

I'm very relaxed over here, I

feel nice.

There's no mic in my face.

I miss the microphones.

I don't miss it at all.

I feel it's not getting us when

we talk, it's.

Definitely picking this up.

Are you kidding me?

Yeah, but oh, there's a delay

too.

OK, we're OK.

There's a 5 second delay because

it switches after you start

talking, right?

So I was afraid it was missing

the beginning of the talking.

No.

All right, so don't go to the

airport until further notice

come here for all your travel

safety news.

So all your.

Travel.

Safety news authorities and IT

said support information has

been compiled for travelers

currently stranded in Doha.

Airport teams are continuing to

respond to inquiry.

So just come back tomorrow,

we'll give you another.

Yeah, I mean, that's got to suck

if you're there, if you're there

on vacation and you're stuck.

Right.

There's cruise ships apparently

stuck over there.

Really war, because they've

closed the Strait of Hormuz, I

think is what it's called.

And that's the way the boats

have to go to get out.

Oh yeah, I saw that their one of

their naval ships was in

international waters and they

thought that they were safe

because they were in

international waters.

And then we blew it up.

Oh yeah, I saw that too.

Yeah, yeah.

Hey, is, you know what, man, as

long as we can keep a minimal

number of boots on the ground,

just, you know, just a presence,

but not, I don't want to see it

all out.

I don't think anybody wants to.

See that?

No, nobody wants to see it all

out more.

Well, we are fighting the narco

terrorists and in some other

country right now too.

Are we?

I think it was.

Ecuador, Ecuador.

I think it was Ecuador.

Really don't quote me on that.

I'm not sure if it's Ecuador,

but I.

We're going to quote you on it

anyways, and we're going to.

Brief article that yeah, we were

fighting narco terrorist with

somebody.

Did you get it from South Dakota

News?

No, but I did.

I did go to South Dakota News

yesterday.

All right.

More old people are in the news.

A lot of old people stuff going.

On more sex.

Nope.

Three former assisted living

employees in Winston Salem, NC,

were arrested after

investigators say they organized

and filmed fights between

elderly residents living with

dementia.

Oh, old people Fight Club.

Wow.

The guy's got dementia and they

go, you know what, you don't

like that guy over there, you

should go punch him.

I don't even think you have to

do that.

No, that's what they're doing.

Oh, really?

Yeah, They have to instigate it

somehow, do they?

Yeah.

And then they film it in bed.

Wow, I would be so mad if that

was my old person.

Yeah, You go to visit your dad

and all of a sudden his, you

know, face is black and blue.

And how did that happen, Dad?

You know, they go.

He fell down you.

Know what's crazy is this is a

serious issue.

Like it's, I mean, we can make

light of this joke or of this

thing, but you know, there's a

lot of other views.

I constantly hear about this

over and over again, of all of

these things, these terrible

things that are happening to our

old people.

To our elderly.

We do a terrible job of this.

We do.

According to the police, the

residents, many in their 70s and

experiencing significant memory

impairment, were allegedly

encouraged to hit one another

while staff recorded the

incident instead of intervening.

Worldstar.

In one case, resident could be

heard calling for help while

being struck.

Authorities began investigating,

receiving a tip in June.

The employees were fired and

later charged with assault on an

individual with disabilities.

That was going to be my question

like what are you, what are the

legal ramifications of that as

if you're a person that is

interacting or like causing

that, right?

Probably my oh, it's my laptop.

Yeah, that's OK.

Like, how much trouble can you

get it?

It's got to be it.

It may be those punishments need

to be more serious.

I don't know what the punishment

is for assault on individuals

with disabilities.

It's not listed.

Whatever it is, I don't think

it's enough.

No, it's not enough.

They got to be something they

maybe they can just get them for

for assault specifically.

Well, I guess maybe it's

probably worse under the for

someone with a disability,

right?

If they add the person some

description of the person, it's

probably worse I would think.

OK, All right.

You know who Misty Roberts is

why we're going.

We're just burning through this

stuff today.

It's all right.

Who's Misty Roberts?

Tell me.

You don't.

You haven't heard of Misty?

Roberts.

No idea.

She is the ex mayor of a town in

Louisiana.

Why would I know that?

It's all over the news.

It's been in the news for four

days.

You're my news guy.

Have you covered, Misty Roberts?

No.

But how would I know?

I heard it yesterday on two

different shows and quite in

detail.

Yeah.

So she's guilty of having sex

with a teen?

A mayor.

Mayor, Female.

Mayor Misty Roberts?

Yeah, an attractive middle age.

I think she's 42.

Middle age blonde woman.

Had a party for her kids at her

house.

What kind of alcohol would you

kids like?

She's a cool mom.

Right.

Oh, she's a cool mom, and she's

the mayor.

She's a cool mom, so kids show

up.

She's having a party, she goes

to hang out with the kid, she's

got a little bikini on.

Her son's friend comes over.

Missy is a little drunk.

OK, She fancies this 16 year old

boy.

OK.

So he starts drinking fast to

catch up.

They're making out in the pool.

There's some pictures.

OK.

He goes, we should go upstairs.

He's at it, yes.

OK, but he's drunk.

OK.

She goes, great idea.

They go upstairs, they have sex.

Couple of kids videotaped

through the window.

There's they're obscured a

little bit because of the

furniture and whatever, and then

this kid confesses to his

girlfriend and tells her and she

dumps him.

OK.

Then she gets back with her

ex-boyfriend.

OK, so this is a timeline.

Yeah, well this is what came out

yesterday.

Went to court.

So then the boyfriend convinces,

gets back with the old

girlfriend, uses this

information to get the old

girlfriend back.

OK.

And then the son finds out.

Misty son?

How did the son not know?

Wasn't he at the party?

Yes, and he was upset with his

mother's behavior, but I don't

think he knew about the sex.

OK, maybe he was drunk too, who

knows.

Probably.

Probably.

So let's assume.

So he gets mad at his mother.

She says it's not my fault, you

should be mad at your friend.

OK?

He's the one who did it right?

So then the kids parents find

out.

OK Missy gets arrested.

Missy goes to jail, so she was.

Let's see.

A jury has found Misty Roberts

guilty of having sex with a

minor.

And let's see what else She had

sex with a 16 year old boy to

party at her home.

She was found guilty in charge

today of carnal knowledge of a

juvenile and indecent behavior

with a juvenile.

OK.

Both are felonies.

Oh no, the first one has a

sentence of up to 10 years.

OK.

The second sentence, the second

charge has a sentence of seven

years, so she could go to jail

for 17 years.

OK.

And obviously she's no longer

the mayor.

She's no longer what?

No longer the mayor?

She lost that.

OK so if the roles were flipped,

if it was a dude doing it to a

16 year old girl, I.

Think it would be a lot worse.

It would be terrible.

Be terrible, right?

Right.

Like they would not not OK.

Yeah, no, I don't know the laws

in Louisiana, but there's no

mention of statutory rape, which

is usually what comes with this.

I'm sure it's the thing if she's

getting charged.

Well, maybe that's the carnal

knowledge of a juvenile, right?

I mean, maybe that's just fancy

word for statutory rape.

That's a fancy word.

Cause carnal knowledge is mean.

She had sex with the juvenile.

I don't know why they don't

just, you know.

Call it that.

Right.

Was he a strapping young man?

He was a lot taller than her.

Yeah, she very chesty woman.

Very.

Chesty woman.

Very chesty woman.

I'm sure this kid was, you know,

she didn't have to ask twice.

Or he what?

Well, apparently he asked her

so.

Right, so how did he use that to

get back with this girl?

No, no, he lost the girlfriend,

right?

But the old boyfriend found out

and told the girlfriend.

He's like, hey, I know we're not

dating anymore.

But what a weak move.

Bobby Bobby's banging Timmy's

mom.

The one time, yeah, apparently.

Do you think he went back for a

second?

Oh.

I left the best part out.

Oh, OK, There is DoorDash

receipt.

Yeah, she ordered one of those

day after pills because

apparently, apparently he, you

know, left it in the garage.

Well, he's 16, right?

You know?

Sure.

You know that's what happens

when you play without a goalie,

right?

You know.

So that came out in court too,

because DoorDash supplied the

received there the.

Driver So why was that in court

to kind of debate and say this

confirms that it happened or

something like?

That I guess, yeah.

Because I mean that.

I mean, why else would she take

it if they didn't have sex?

Was Misty married?

There was no mention of a Mr.

Misty, so I'm guessing no.

There was no mention because Mr.

Misty.

Would be very upset, yeah.

That would not.

Be It's a big pool I.

Mean it's a big pool.

It was a picture of the pool.

It was a nice big house, but she

was the mayor.

Right.

Well, now she's.

How does?

What part?

What do you want to ask?

I don't understand how.

I mean no matter how drunk I am,

I am not taking a 16 year old

girl upstairs in my house.

OK, that's different guy to a

little girl.

I mean, that's way worse.

That's way worse.

No, it's way worse.

A 16 year old boy.

This is a badge of honor.

Well, I'm not saying if I was a

if I was a 16 year old boy, I

would bang the mayor.

Right.

I mean, that's fine, you know,

And I don't know if my, if I

found out my son right, bang the

mayor, I might be all right.

Yeah.

I don't know why your mother's

so upset.

Yeah, it's not the I mean.

I've seen the mayor.

She's.

Hot you're not 12.

Right.

Yeah.

You know, in two years, if she

had waited two years, I've been

OK.

Got to hang tight.

Missy's not waiting.

She's not waiting.

Apparently she's very

promiscuous with 16 year old

boys.

I mean, like, at what point did

you know, like even from the

other like this, this son,

right?

Like, hey, we're all going to

get shit faced at our house.

Like, OK, you think, you think

like you kind of have the idea

of what your mom is, right?

Like, well, like what she's, how

she looks and what she's.

Capable.

Yeah.

Everybody.

Everybody's got to, you know,

go.

Dude, your mom's hot.

Right, if everybody's saying

that like.

Maybe the plan wasn't for her to

be hanging out.

I mean hanging out in her pink

bikini, sitting on the edge of

the pool with all the boys

around her.

But you got to play this out in

your head, like you got to work

some of these things out.

This is the problem that we're

doing, you know, like we're not

teaching our kids.

How to plan?

Like you got to play, you got to

play life 3 moves ahead.

Like you always got to be, you

know what I mean?

In every aspect.

Like, OK, if I do this, what are

the what could happen, right?

Oh, Mom's a bit handsy, right?

Yeah.

It's probably a bad idea, you

know.

She bought that new bikini son

of a mix.

Right, like like you have.

There's no way that this this

kid did not see that.

Come now, look, I'm not no.

I mean, apparently they were

making out in the pool.

So I mean, don't you go up and

tap your buddy and go look, stop

kissing my.

Mom like shut this down.

Right, Mom, you got to go

inside.

This is not OK, right?

Like, you're done.

You're done.

Go upstairs.

Right something.

I mean, I don't know you.

Have to stop it before it

happens.

Right, unless the.

Mom's a little handsy.

Mom's a little handsy.

Unless the 16 year old is

probably like he's the the guy.

Like he's the top one in the

group, right?

And the his son, her son is not

right.

Oh, I got you.

Right.

Like he's like, dude, your mom's

hot.

Your mom's hot.

I'm going to bang your mom, you

know, like.

And then at that point, I'm

like, you're not coming over,

like even, right?

Yeah, No.

Do you see what I'm?

Saying right, you're out.

So like, no, you can't come hang

out.

No, I don't know.

I don't, I'm not doing this

right.

Like I'm not risking it.

I think that they're like, I

think that it's important.

I know that like this is wild

and no, we do not condone this

behavior.

No, but I think that it's

important that you teach kids to

understand actions and

consequences and kind of move,

think about the next two or

three moves as to when you do

something, what's going to be

the result, Right.

Hey, let's all go hang out and

get drunk because my mom's going

to get his booze and hang out

with us.

Like, probably not a good idea.

No, right.

There's been a lot of this in

the news lately.

Yeah, females banging kids at

school.

Yeah, well, well, this isn't at

school.

No, no, but I mean teenagers.

But it's the same scenario like

if the if a 16 year old boy

bangs the teacher like everybody

brags about that.

Right, that's how you get

caught.

Right.

The thing is, don't tell nobody.

How do you well?

Well, you have to.

I mean, why aren't you going to

bang?

Why aren't you banging the

teacher you're not going to?

Tell the whole point is for you

to you know, it's a clout thing,

right?

Got her, you know.

You know Missus Smith, guess

what I'm doing right?

That's totally a thing.

Right.

I mean, it's not like you, you

know, I'm just going to tell my

boys no, because then one of

them's going to tell somebody

and that's how you get caught.

Right.

It it's, it's doomed all the way

around, right?

Sure.

The the adult, the the woman

adults, because I'm not going to

say man, male, adult.

It's totally.

Totally different, totally

different thing the.

Woman, adult needs to think that

through as well.

Like like what's going to happen

here?

I sleep with this kid.

This kid is going to tell

everybody he's not going to keep

it to himself.

Right.

What is she's looking?

I just got to have this kid.

Right, she's out of her mind,

even with alcohol.

That's what I mean.

I mean, people just don't.

I don't know.

It's wild.

Well, the next story.

OK, physical education teacher.

Oh God, you got another one.

There was another one.

That's what I.

Mean.

Oh my God.

Got disturbingly hands on a

married She was married.

A married high school physical

education teacher has been

charged with sexually assaulting

a student whom she admits

sexting and kissing but denies

ever getting fully physical with

him.

OK, so she she, she was testing

the limits.

Right, she said.

Right.

I mean, probably would have

eventually happened.

But hey, same scenario here like

I'm going to send a picture.

Right.

Yeah, she's 39.

She's she was attractive woman

also.

OK, unfortunately, I guess she

started sending flirty messages

to a boy when he was in her

sophomore class at Panganesset

High School in Gloucester, Rhode

Island.

All right.

So probably also 16 or 17.

After she found his number

online, she she went looking.

She stalked them.

She stalked.

That's some next level stuff

right there.

She's crazy.

And this one's a teacher.

This is a P/E teacher.

Then apparently she grabbed his

face and gave him a big kiss and

that is what she got in trouble

for.

That's how she got caught.

Yeah, I mean, keep your hands to

yourself.

Well, I mean, she was sexting

and she.

Couldn't help it.

Anyway, she couldn't help it.

But even that, I mean, you know,

you're going to go Misses Jones,

whatever she just sent me.

Right, not going to believe

this.

Not.

Going to believe this.

There's evidence.

Right here's a nipple.

Here's a nipple.

She has nibbles.

She has nibbles.

Look, she bent it on picking up

a volleyball.

Dude, what is going on man?

Four stories this week about

teachers and and boys.

Why do you think that is?

Why do you think that the

articles the news articles are

covering?

Because you've got to know those

ones that are the other way

around.

Got to be a dude in there

somewhere.

Way more disturbing, right?

Right.

I.

Don't know, maybe these images

are more socially acceptable.

This is this.

Isn't maybe we're supposed to be

more outraged?

There isn't a big uproar about

it as because I'm going to tell

you right now, if you touch a

girl like dude tarred and

feathered, let's go right, You

know, in the town square.

In the town square.

Right.

I'm talking old school.

I'm talking Salem witchcraft.

Let's go.

Salem witch hunts.

That too, Yeah.

Yeah, Well, rich witchcraft is

what?

Like gets the hunts, yeah, yeah.

Or trials Salem witch trials.

That's.

What?

It was all right.

Oh, poor boots.

I don't have boots to save me

today.

I'm on my own.

I'm going to say all the you're.

Saying they're stupid.

You're.

Saying David Moore, do not

engage on any of the bad things

that I say.

Just the only highlight on list.

The Times.

Only on the only highlight on

Palmer today.

You said there was a stopwatch.

I love it dude that guy is

dialed in.

So impressive.

All right, you got a video.

I do not have.

A video on yesterday's show was

there.

No, I was thinking about

covering a video today, but I

did not get it.

I'm kind of entertained.

So my boy Nick's at Cigar Den.

Yes.

He's been doing these videos

where he'll talk and then it'll

flip over to him moving

somewhere else and it'll flip

over and moving somewhere else.

And it was like the first one he

did was hilarious because it was

a snow day and they were closed.

Tomorrow we won't be open.

There's a Blizzard and he's

jumping, jumping, jumping,

jumping, jumping.

There's a word for that.

It's it keeps the audience

intrigued.

Yeah.

So it was pretty good.

But now I feel like it's become

a little redundant and I'm like,

all right, man, got to let's go

mix it up.

Got to mix it up.

Well, you know, you find a new

thing and it's easy to edit and

you're like, I'll do four or

five of these this.

Is fun, yeah.

Right.

So.

Well, we got cigar news, but I

want to talk about something.

Else I don't remember.

My nose is itchy.

I know it's bothering me it.

Is it's bothering me too, all

right?

You knew.

You knew who Tom Segura is A

comedian.

Yeah, he works with.

He's hilarious.

Bert Kreischer, right?

Yeah.

His stand up is hilarious.

He does like 5 different

podcasts.

Does he?

He does one by himself, right?

He does one with Bert.

OK, there's another one with

Bert.

Well, wait.

He does his and then he does.

Then him and Bert do one

together.

Then I think he's on one that

Bert does, and then I think Bert

is on one that he does, and then

he does one with his wife.

OK, They're all terrible.

Are they?

They're all terrible.

What do you mean?

Well, I was watching his shorts

the day before yesterday, so

last night.

And you know, I listen to real

radio during the day, but at

night I don't like the content

on that night.

So when it gets after five, I

think it is or not 5-6.

I'm looking for other stuff to

listen to.

OK, I don't like the nighttime

stuff.

So I thought, oh, I'll Tom

Segura's got a podcast.

I'll listen to that.

So the one with his wife is

called In My Mother's House.

OK.

They basically just sit there

and chat about their their day

sort of.

And then they like to watch

videos and they don't really

talk about the videos.

OK.

They just sort of talk between

themselves.

Right.

It's terrible.

It's not for you.

I mean, they have commercials on

him, so I mean, somebody's fan,

but he is Tom Segura, so I mean,

he's got some name recognition.

Yeah, but there's probably a

world of people that want to

peer into that and, you know, oh

it.

Was terrible.

And even the one with Kreicher,

they were talking about fast

food.

Yeah.

Who had the best French fries?

I mean, we talk about fast food.

Who has an entire show though?

Now, how long is the show?

Who is the best friend?

I don't know.

I couldn't get past 15 minutes.

Oh really?

These things are important, man.

We got to know who's the What is

the best fast food?

I don't think so.

McDonald's.

And then they get on these

tangents about, OK, they're not

fast food anymore.

Like, hey, have you ever been to

Outback?

Oh, I love Outback.

The booming on it.

Oh yeah.

I think that's.

Good.

It's terrible, terrible content.

OK, sorry you feel that way.

Yeah.

They were terrible.

Sorry, Tom.

You're a big fan of our show.

I apologize.

Well, Bert did a picture with

Wild Bill about Rocky Patel.

I saw that.

The funny part is that I don't

think that he smokes Rocky Patel

from the interaction that

happened up here.

Right.

No, I don't think so.

So but they gave him a free

boxes.

Like hey, take this shirt off

and do the picture.

It's like bro and what are we?

Doing the cigar guys have got a

picture of him on the beach

holding their box.

Oh really, they must.

Have months ago months.

Ago to him somewhere.

Yeah.

So I mean, if we would have gave

him a box, Greg would have gave

him a box of cigars.

Would you want that?

A box of cigars.

Would you want a picture of Bert

taking a picture holding the

Postagna cigars I.

Don't know why not I.

Don't know if I'd want that.

Why?

He put did he put the picture on

his Instagram or was he on their

Instagram?

It just doesn't feel authentic

to me.

Oh, he does that same face.

Yeah, I don't know.

But like, it just feels Addy.

It doesn't feel real to me right

now.

If Bert's like, man, I love your

cigars.

These are great.

That'd be a totally different

scenario.

But cool, man.

You know, he's like, hey, I

mean, like, let's let's take a

picture with him.

And I'm like, OK, but you know,

to to shove a box in front of a

person, say hey, take a photo

with this.

Yeah, I'm not about that, I

don't think.

That that's if you want one, I

can make one.

And that I know.

And that's the other thing,

like, dude, we can have

everybody.

We can have the Ayatollah who

right before he blew up, holding

it, you know what I mean?

Oh, did you see 2 days ago it

was me sitting at a big

conference table with all the

ayatollahs and I'm pushing a box

of beepers across the table to

the.

On the title, yeah, the

thumbnail, the thumbnail.

My mic popped off here.

Uh oh.

And then yesterday was Richie

pumping gas and into his car and

it was gas prices whiplash again

or something.

Like that with a bolt of

lightning or something.

No, no bolt of lightning.

Like the audio?

There's like an audio thing.

Oh God, are we just going to let

it hang?

Are we off?

Are we off now?

Now you have.

It is what it is.

Where is it?

It's there.

Don't worry.

Don't you worry.

No, it's right here.

Oh, all right.

And on cigar news?

So no, I mean, I don't think

that I would want a guy like I

just the only guy that I would

want supporting the brand,

right, would be the guy who

loves the brand, likes the

brand.

Yeah, some kind of like

consumers already see like this

is bullshit, right?

Like this is not you.

Don't think somebody looks at it

and goes birth crasher likes.

Maybe, but I don't know.

Somebody would.

Still, for me, it just doesn't

feel right, you know, if Bert

loved the cigars.

Hey man, these are great.

I'm a fan dude.

Like awesome for one.

I'd probably send him a box.

Hey, thanks for your support.

Appreciate it.

Whatever, you know, just like

Rogan with.

Foundation.

Yeah, like, he legit likes those

cigars, right?

That's perfect.

Right.

Like, one of the craziest things

for me was when we kind of got

going, there was a running back.

His name's Michael Turner,

Turner the burner.

And he came up to me at PCA when

we were just getting going.

He's like, man, I love your

cigars.

I was like, serious.

He goes, yeah, man, I'm a big

fan.

And like, you know, like, hey,

let's take a picture together or

something like that.

And I'm like, oh, this is

fantastic.

Because you knew that that guy

was, he was all about it.

He, you know, he was, he loves

cigars.

He loved our cigars.

So that made me feel good,

right.

But the other way around, No, I

wouldn't dig that at all.

Hey, I need you to take a

picture with us.

It's just tacky.

When I was at one of the shops I

was at yesterday, they started

talking about Patrick Bette

Davis.

It was some military guys there

because it's near the naval

base, right?

And one guy was telling one of

the other customers about the

podcast.

And I walked, you know, so I

popped back into the room and

go, oh, I've met him.

Yeah.

I'm a member every day.

They've got a private lounge.

I'm a member down at the.

Casual flex for you, right?

Yeah, yeah.

Oh yeah, I'm in the boardroom.

Are you in the boardroom?

Yeah, well, the one guy's like,

oh, where's the boardroom,

'cause he lives in Fort

Lauderdale.

He was up there visiting.

Oh, he doesn't know.

No, I go.

Well I have problems finding it

every time I go, but it's the

value tainment building across

the street from the big church.

Dude, you should have put him in

touch with Daniel right then and

there.

Oh, I wouldn't even think of

that.

I was busy busy flexing.

I see that, but that bigger flex

there is like.

Let me have you speak.

To me, I don't know if I have

Daniel's number.

Let me give you my guide.

I could have got it though,

yeah.

Sorry, you'll do better next

time.

Right.

OK.

All right, cigar news.

Cigar News New Cigar is coming

out.

Fratello USA is announced their

250 cigar debuting at the PCA.

Another Quincence Antenna 10.

Notable in honor of America.

Right here we go, we get another

new cigar that will celebrate

the 250th anniversary of

founding of America, next

month's 2026 PCA convention and

trade show.

He did not list the dates again.

He did in one of your other

articles.

Oh, did he, April?

Maybe Ted the end he says the

18th through the 21st, but it's

the 17th through the 20th.

Oh really?

Yes, Portella USA 250 will show

off.

It's a 6 by 54 Toro that uses a

Nicaraguan wrapper over a

Pennsylvania binder and fillers

from the Dominican Republic and

Pennsylvania Exotic

Pennsylvania.

Earthy tones the.

Cigar is being rolled at Fabrica

de Tobacco's Hoya de Nicaragua.

OK, what do you think this cigar

is going to cost Hoya?

Yes. 250 cigar.

They've made 250.

Hold on.

They made 250 boxes of 13

cigars.

They did it right. 13 colonies.

They got the day. 25 bucks. $20

OK nice.

Omar had some long winded thing.

He's been doing a lot of videos

lately.

Have you seen those?

Yeah, You know what?

What's funny too, is like he's

in a lot of, he's in more spots

than you'd realize.

Like I saw his stuff at ABC.

Yeah, so.

Is he considered a I'm sorry, is

he considered a boutique?

Brand.

He's 100% of boutique.

Oh then Water Wheel carries 1

boutique brand.

Oh no no that was at S St.

Never mind.

I went so many shops it's hard

to get confused.

So how did it go like Water

Wheel?

You went to Water Wheel

Jacksonville and they said we

only carry legacy brands.

Well, I went well, first thing

the manager who's there he goes,

oh, So what can I help you with

today?

And I go, Oh no, I'm I'm with

lasagna cigars.

And then he immediately tells me

that he's leaving in three days.

He does or the 26th, he's not

going to be the manager anymore.

I'm like, OK, and he goes, you

just missed the the guy that's

going to be taking over.

I go, oh, sorry, OK, I go, well,

can I leave a price list on my

card and a couple of samples and

he goes, sure, I'll give them to

him.

He immediately swipes one up and

starts lights it up right there.

Of course that's what I would

do.

Right.

I go, can I go look in your

humidor?

And he goes certainly.

So, you know, go walk around.

I'm like, oh crap, there is not

a boutique in here to be found.

And you said that to him?

Well, I came out and I go, you

guys don't have many boutiques

that I'll do.

He goes.

They don't really sell here.

It's kind of a Jacksonville

thing.

And I'm thinking, no, it's not a

Jacksonville thing.

Right, there are plenty of.

Boutique shops, boutique shops.

So then he tells me again that

he's leaving, right?

Wants to make sure that I know

he's leaving.

I'm going.

I'm going, I go OK, well and he

tells So I go to can I have a

card for the shop phone number

stop and he goes we don't have

any cards.

OK.

Like OK, can I get a phone

number?

Sure.

And he rouses the phone number

to put on my phone and go.

And what's the new manager's

name?

He tells me the manager's name.

I go, OK, I go, well, then I'll

check back in a couple weeks.

I'll give him a little time to,

you know, get his feet wet.

And he goes, oh, no, he knows

what he's doing.

I've been training him.

He'll be fine.

But yeah, you should give him,

give him some time, OK?

All right, well, it doesn't

sound like.

In and out in 10 minutes.

Doesn't sound like it's going to

be very fruitful.

No, that one, probably not.

No, but actually he went well,

he actually just texted me again

this morning.

Thank you for coming by.

Yeah, that one's probably going

to be.

Good.

OK.

And four boxes at Tobacco Cove.

They're doing well with their

stuff.

They want to switch the

Connecticut for the Albano.

Connecticut's not doing well,

but they're going to sell.

Abano's not doing well.

No, no, the Connecticut's not

doing well.

Really.

Yeah.

That's kind of surprising.

Yeah, it is.

I thought so too.

I mean, they could have used one

box, but then they told me, no,

we're going to sell through on

that and then we're going to

bring your Urbana in that we

tried last time you were here.

I was like, oh, OK, that's what

you want.

I've been smoking a lot of the

Albano lately too.

I did yesterday.

The Toro swinging now.

Oh, is that what it is?

Yeah.

Right here, right here.

Look at me.

Look at me.

Look at me.

Oh yes.

There you go.

The trade show, which takes

place 18th to the 20th in New

Orleans.

There you go, you got it right.

No, it's 17th to the 20th, maybe

the 17th, the day we can show

them set up, maybe the actual

show.

Right.

So it's only two days the show

just two days is.

Here 18/19/20.

Oh.

That's three last time I

checked.

I got you.

OK.

All right, two new Long live the

Queens you're coming to.

From Caldwell.

Yes, there are two new all.

There are two all new versions

of Caldwell's Long live the

Queen line heading to stores as

part of Caldwell Caldwell's

crafted and curated series,

which is aimed at releasing

limited editions.

There will be two new Long live

the Queens, both offered in a

loan 6 by 60 Gordo Vitola.

OK.

Interestingly, in the blends are

new and not the same as the

originals.

They're new.

Right, but he liked the name, so

he just stuck with it.

Right, so both the Long live the

Queen Forbidden Fruit, Calero

and Oscurro uses the Mexican San

Andreas wrapper, although the

one is classified as Rosado.

OK.

The Clara.

It's like it's a lighter,

lighter, like almost like a

reddish, yeah.

The Rosado Rose.

Right.

Why are you so smart?

The Clero uses an internal

blend, Loses uses an internal

blend entirely of Dominican

tobaccos, while the Escuro uses

a Sumatra binder and fillers

from Dominican Republic and

Nicaragua.

OK.

Alright, the Long live the Queen

Forbidden.

We don't need the sizes.

Oh, there's only Nope.

There's we already said there

are 6 by 60. 6 by 60.

What's the retail on those?

16501650 Production is limited,

400 boxes of each.

Cigars are made of Tabacolera

Nina del Rey.

See, that's always weird to me

because like normally your Gordo

cigar guy and I could be wrong

here, but I think I like to

think that I know a couple

things about retail when it

comes to 660, when it comes to

that bigger gauge, more people

look for value as far as price

point then they do flavor

profile and it being, you know,

higher priced, right?

So like 1650, is that a price

point that is good for a 660?

Maybe it is at this point in

this market, but I would tend to

believe that it's probably

something like a 12, maybe 13 as

you're really kind of pushing

that limit for a 6 by 60.

So how does a 660 become cheaper

than a?

Toro, Well, it depends upon the

tobacco.

It depends upon, I mean a lot of

those things.

I mean, realistically, like do

you think that there's a big

difference in the cost of making

a 5 by 50 robusto or a 6 by 60

Gordo?

I would think.

Material wise, no.

There's not more tobacco.

And there is, but material wise

like the cost is pennies, it's

not, it's not a significant

difference.

Gotcha.

I mean, maybe labor might take a

little bit longer, but still,

you know, your cost isn't isn't

that much more.

Is the rolling rolling times got

to be longer because it's a

bigger cigar?

Yeah, but again, you're, you're

rolling in a third world

country.

It's not like it's oh.

No, I yeah, I was just curious

for my own information.

So you know, that's why you

usually see when you usually see

the six 60s that are successful,

usually they're more value

based, 8 to 12 range, something

like that.

Interesting.

Right.

Oregon, Oregon Oregon Oregon

Oregon, Oregon Home of Buck

night.

Anyway, we did a story a couple

of weeks ago how they were

outline online sales.

Yeah.

Right, they decided that was

stupid.

Apparently we look at paper, we

think this is very dumb and we

remove.

We removed last month.

The bill was introduced in the

Oregon legislation that would

have banned Internet sales of

cigars and pipe tobacco to

consumers in the state.

However, upon further

introspection, the bill's

introduction, the bill's primary

sponsor, included an amendment

that would stripe the proposed

legislation of language

surrounding cigars.

Oh, so they can remove cigars?

Gonna remove cigars?

Apparently you just can't buy

online vapes.

Yeah.

I mean, it's a question of what

they're really trying to do with

this legislation.

Are you trying to regulate

vapes?

Are vapes still this problem?

Then?

Then why are you lumping cigars

into it?

And I think that's something

that we, that this industry's

been really pushing for is look,

we are not the same.

We're two totally different

things, you know.

I think it's what these people

that they just everything that

was smokeable we're going on.

Right, tobacco.

Like whoa, whoa, whoa.

Whoa, whoa, hey, these are

cigars.

Let's pump the brakes.

You know my kids not going to be

able to bring a cigar in, buy a

cigar illegally, sneak it into

high school and then smoke it in

the bathroom and it be

undetected.

That's just not nor do the the

kid have the desire to do that.

Right.

So like, if this isn't a

problem, why are we why are we

over regulating it?

It makes no sense.

Not at all Has Jax ever asked to

try a cigar.

He's your oldest.

Of course.

Right.

Of course.

Well, but OK, so this is a

little bit of a different

scenario, right?

It's like Dad is Dad's the guy,

right?

Dad's the cigar guy, right?

Dad smokes all the time, right?

And Dad takes care of himself.

It's not like I'm.

You're sickly.

Right.

It's not like I'm unfit.

It's not like I'm morbidly

obese.

You know, if, if Jax wants to

race, we can race, you know,

like, no problem.

So you know.

Isn't that how you blew out your

calf last time?

I popped both calves.

Yes, being when.

You're having a little scoot

around.

But like, yeah, at that point I

was going all out, all out.

So yeah.

So yeah, I'm getting older, you

know?

Trust me, I understand.

That, but I think that some of

those things are more avoidable

if I would do something like

stretch or you know, you know,

like we'll race give me about.

You know, give dad a few minutes

here.

I got to I got to loosen up.

I.

Need about 5 minutes to get

ready and then I wouldn't have a

problem.

But no, for me, I'm just running

routes extremely hard and making

cuts and all this other stuff

like, OK, it's probably not in

the best interest of my body,

but I'll still do it.

And then I would do it even

after I popped my calf.

So.

So yeah.

So it has Jack's ass, right?

But is the answer no?

Yeah, the answer's no.

Like not happening.

Not even just a puff.

No, no, that's not that's not in

that's not in the conversation

at this age bracket, right.

You know, he's got a better

chance of banging his female

fist teacher than he does

smoking a cigar with me right

now.

Right now, or, or teacher for

whatever that will, you know.

I don't think there's an age

line where I wouldn't be high

fiving my son if I find out he'd

bang the teacher.

Of course, Yeah, yeah.

What's that line?

I'm thinking.

Go ahead. 15.

You think 15 is 15 and below or

15?

15 and higher. 15 and higher is

acceptable.

Well, not acceptable, but less

less offensive to me personally.

Less offensive to you

personally, 15.

OK, I'm at 16.

I think 16 is fine where I'm

like, Oh my goodness, well, you

got to look at everybody like,

oh man, that's terrible.

Yeah, right.

Wink, wink.

Like wow dude, OK now let's

learn.

But now at that point, you got

to have serious conversations

about everything else.

Well, yeah.

Sure, like.

I mean, I'm not encouraging him

at 15, you know, you know what?

You're go out.

Go out and wax the whole school.

I had that parent teacher

conference.

I got no listen.

But, you know, there is a, there

is a time when, like, you got to

have a conversation with a kid

and say, listen, are you doing

the right things?

Are you, are you, are you

protecting yourself?

You know, and every kid is

different.

Like Jax, you know, I'm

fortunate enough where he's

still very much a kid.

And I'm holding on to those

moments.

Oh, yeah.

As long as I can.

You have to.

Right.

So you know, they go.

Fast.

Yeah.

So, you know, from a dad's

perspective, I'm not encouraging

any of that, right?

Sure, I'm encouraging, You know,

I'm encouraging.

Let's play sports.

Let's let's keep active.

Let's hang out with our friends,

Let me know when friends aren't

making the right decisions so

that I can help you navigate

through it.

Right.

Those are the important parts of

the conversation.

But no, at the end of the day,

yeah, I feel like 16 is.

I'm not like, Oh my God, you

know?

Why did it just cut to me and I

wasn't even talking?

I think it's just fine.

It's going to be great.

When you talk, my microphone

goes off and when I talk your

microphone goes off, so.

There's a slight delay before it

switches I think at times.

No, I just spent the the.

I mean, when I talk, yours still

picks me up a little bit.

Yeah.

Of course we're in the same

room, buddy.

So nervous about what is it

going to be.

It's going to be, look, jump off

the Cliff.

Yeah, I understand.

Yeah, I know.

We're building A and I got a

plane on the way down.

I got news for you.

We're one of the top podcasts in

the cigar industry.

We give out more content than

anybody does.

Oh, yeah.

By a long shot.

So, you know, if this one was a

little rocky just because we

wanted to push the envelope a

little bit more and get a little

bit better, I'm OK with that,

right?

All right, but if you go to

Hawaii and Utah, you still can't

buy cigars online, No.

Hawaii still shutting down?

Hawaii and Utah remain the only

two states that ban online cigar

sales to consumers in their

states.

That's insane.

Though there's proposed

legislation in both states that

would reverse that law.

Oh, really?

Yes.

So in Oregon, there's waiting on

the governor to sign it.

The the other two people have

said, oh, it's fine.

So they're working on just

removing the legislation of any

type of regulation for online

sales.

For Oregon.

Oh, or, but Utah and Hawaii

aren't working on that yet.

Hawaii has legislation but they

haven't decided yet.

I've I've Utah's come up a

couple of times but I haven't

heard anything from Utah.

We're waiting on Charlie to give

us that news.

Oh, wait.

On Charlie.

Yeah, wait, not Charlie.

Come on, app will let us know if

there's anything changes.

Oh, it's a female governor.

Oh, what if she's banging

everybody?

Wonder how old she is and then

she's throwing house parties.

She's throwing a pool party at

her.

House.

Yeah, and if her son's smart

enough to say, you know, there's

a terrible.

Idea.

That's a terrible idea, mom.

No party, no alcohol.

Apparently, she even asked the

kids what kind of alcohol they

wanted.

Of course she's a cool mom,

right?

Right.

What do you drink when you're

16?

What do you think of the White

Claws and fruity things?

They don't do wine coolers

anymore.

Well, you're not supposed to be

drinking any of those things, so

you know.

I don't know, but what?

What do you think they asked for

though?

It's just I'll tell you that

it's a question of what their

icons are drinking that they see

on whatever format.

You know, like the scary part is

for younger kids, it's more

often than not, it's energy

drinks.

Like, hey, I want right?

Give me that ghost.

Let me try that.

Let me try like that's a bigger.

Problem so for loco.

I could see that.

That would be more along the

lines, yeah.

They did not look like an inner

city crowd.

An inner city crowd, Yeah.

What do you mean?

4 Loko is more of an inner city.

Drink.

It's more urban.

Yeah, Urban, I guess that would

be the word.

Urban city.

Yeah.

No, I mean, like for me the the

argument is always even coffee.

Hey, let me try that coffee.

I'm like, no, no, you're not

trying the coffee.

No coffee either.

No, not at all.

They don't need caffeine.

Are you kidding me?

I got one kid that run that

goes.

I got one kid.

Justice wears everybody else

out.

Don't you like the kids drink

that prime stuff?

Is that an?

Energy, not the energy kind and

that's and that the regular

prime is kind of move.

We've moved through that.

It's we've moved on.

Well, I mean, you read a new

book.

They like, no, I'm just saying

as far as demand is concerned,

they weren't about it.

But like they'll drink like

propels, like, you know,

flavored water, stuff like that.

With Locale, I don't mind that,

you know, I mind that when they

waste it, that shit drives me

nuts.

They take a sip of it and it's

just sitting on the.

Counter.

I find it in the backseat of the

car.

And I'm like, dude.

There's $75.00 right here in.

My right, I'm like, you guys got

to be kidding.

There are two plates in my car

right now.

Half eaten muffins.

Oh, let's see you.

You just got it back.

You're not keeping it.

Clean on the way to school, they

like to eat and then and then

they figure my man servant dad

will take care of this.

I can't take this in with me.

Yeah, like where do you want me

to put it?

I'll just leave it here on this

chair.

Friends can't see me eating a

tutti frutti muffin.

It's.

Going to be amazing tomorrow

I'll come back in this car and

it'll be gone oh they're.

Not going to eat it?

Make them eat it on the way

home.

Yeah.

No, no, no, eat.

That on the way to practice.

There you go.

Right, all right, time for the

how are we going to play?

What's the score?

I'll just do it.

That's no fun.

No.

All right, time for the

industry's favorite game.

What's the?

Score No flipping, no flipping,

no flipping that.

Didn't know what to do, didn't

know what to do.

They're both talking.

What do I do now?

Oh.

My God.

Well, you can make 1A priority

over the other.

We tried that, it didn't work.

It worked too well.

That's the problem.

January 27th, 2018.

Brooks Whittington, The Alec

Bradley Cigar, The Black Market

Bootlegger.

Black market bootlegger Alec

Bradley.

Alec Bradley.

And this is recent. 02012. 02012

it's probably raises 88.

Black market bootlegger from

Honduras.

The factory is Tabaco de

Oriente.

Oh, Audible.

Rapper is Nicaraguan Binder

Sumatra.

OK.

Filler Honduras, Panama and

Nicaragua.

Length 5 and a quarter by 54.

It is a robusto Gordo.

It's a fat, Shorty $15 cigar

back then and they smoked tree.

85 I'm going to drop 85.

The Cigar Deliver Oh clue #1 The

cigar delivers a rich and

consistent profile built around

creamy oak, complimented by

flavors of Graham cracker

sweetness, coffee, cocoa nibs

and spice that keeps the

experience engaging.

Boy, we got cocoa nibs off the

jump.

Cocoa nibs.

I'm going to say 88.

Clue #2 construction is strong

overall, with a razor sharp burn

for much of the cigar and very

heavy smoke production that

creates a full and satisfying

smoking experience.

Brooks is all about this.

He likes this one.

I'm going to say I'm going to

move up another point.

I'm going to go 89.

Clue #3 The draw tends to run a

bit loose at times, and the

occasional floral note on the

finish can briskly disrupt the

overall balance of the flavor

profile.

Flavor profile disruption

Inconsistent burning Flavor

profile disruption 86. 86 Final

thought I have smoked the number

of the black market releases

over the years and have found

them to be an enjoyable, albeit

fairly linear blend.

While the Bootlegger shares some

similarities in both profile and

flavors compared to what I

remember of the original blend,

there is a noticeable increase

in spice on the finish as well

as more sweetness on the retro

hill, although I did have to

touch up two of the samples a

couple of times.

Construction overall was quite

good.

And if you like, if you like

cigar that put out a lot of what

was quite good and if you like

cigar that put out a lot of

smoke that doesn't sound like

some 2012, there are very few

releases that can they can beat

it in that regard.

In the end, I found the Alec

Bradley Black Market Bootlegger

to be very nice cigar in just

about every aspect.

Although people in the US may

not find it different enough to

compare it to more readily

available black market releases

to warrant the larger price and

having to have it shipped from

our friends to the north.

Where do I go here?

What are you at?

I think I was at 86 because you

didn't even have a bad one.

Maybe.

Maybe I'm at 88 and I'll.

It really doesn't matter.

Just pick another I.

Think I need to split the baby

here and I'm going to go 87. 87.

Oh, it's like Boots would have

lost boots.

Phil lost without even being

here.

Poor Phil Poor Phil Hope he's

having fun on his movie set.

On his movie set, yes.

More fun with Phil.

Phil No, it was Phil.

Phil and the semen.

It's a nautical.

It's a nautical adventure, The

nautical.

Adventure, yes.

OK, Anything else to add?

Next week on the 10th I'm on Chi

Town Cigars.

It's Tuesday at 7:30 Central

time, so what's at 6:30 for us?

Yep, 6:30 Eastern Standard Time.

Probably just going to stay.

Here OK.

And then on the 26th, 27th, we

will be at Bo Weevil.

Sure.

Oh man, get it together, honey.

I got home late, Bo Weevils

said, then had to do the upload.

It's edutainment info all right.
