ACHP Episode 530 Soccer Cigar

Transcript
Start with boots is the best.
I mean, Phil is the best.
That's not where it is.
Either one.
Welcome to a Cigar House for
podcast episode 530.
I'm Mike Palmer, your friendly
and non confrontational host
engineering today.
Phil.
I just came from a three hour
meeting and boy is he full
because.
He did you just come up with
that?
He.
Was eating, he wasn't actually
at the meeting.
Got it.
Then my Co host Mike.
I forgot the shirt.
Step on Kevage.
Oh wow, I would have solved the
shirt problem.
Why did you, why did you throw
him out there like?
Is that not true?
You forgot the shirt.
I was going back to get the
shirt but.
After you forgot it.
So this is true, it's just just
where it starts.
It stops.
But my guy wanted to get going.
Well, it's not.
Funny if I say and my host Mike,
I forgot the shirt.
I was going to turn around and
get it, but Phil said he needed
to do the meeting early, so he
gave up.
And then Phil's here and I would
have still had time because it's
been an hour since you got here.
First of all, wait, I want to
retract that.
Since I got here.
Only 3045 minutes but I mean he
wasn't here anyway so it doesn't
matter.
That's the thing, I could have
doubled back.
Yeah, you would have technically
had time, the time he arrived.
Well, guess what?
Not quite as funny as just
saying Mike.
I forgot the shirt.
Stefankovic.
Wait, wait, I want to retract
what I said because I don't want
him to attack me today.
You what?
Did you say, well, just for the
record, it doesn't even matter
if I had the shirt because you
don't have the picture?
We have to take the picture and
then it's one hour photo.
I can have it in an hour.
Yeah, but you don't have the
picture, but I can have it in.
I mean, I can say all of these
other things, but then it
wouldn't be funny, right?
No, it's still funny 'cause I
said yesterday we needed the
photo but you guys left.
Yeah, we don't.
This is just like what I just
left.
Except we're not women.
This is exactly it.
Except what people pay to hear.
Except we're not yelling at each
other.
Not.
Yet.
I have a photo, it just doesn't
have him in it.
Remember, watch the last two
episodes of Soon The Beatings
Come with the Belt.
Wow, wow.
I'm wearing diapers.
You're treating us like children
and spanking us with belts.
Apparently the the part of Tia's
pregnancy where Don't Touch Me
is going on now.
Oh, OK.
All right.
In today's show, California has
ties to China Way.
MO can't swim the movie.
The RIP is way too true.
Memphis Grizzlies may have open
tryouts.
Wow.
Then it's cigars.
We have World Cup, We have World
Cup cigars, English cigars and a
special cigar clothing.
Then the show ends with a What's
the score?
Special cigar clothing.

Some comments from our latest
episode.
Can't wait to hear him.
Team Money Sports.
Phil isn't too.
I got to turn this volume down.
I feel like it's getting louder
in my ear.
It might be if you're sitting on
it.
It says Phil isn't too versed on
the real world anymore.
You need to deposit for tons of
things.
It shows you're serious and not
wasting people's times.
And then with people's time, I
had to put a deposit down for a
tattoo, vet appointment, a
custom pistol, etcetera.
I love how he chose those three
things.
To be fair, his wife probably
takes care of all that and he
has no idea what's going.
On Phil, Yeah.
Yeah, that's actually probably
true.
Or my assistant.
They put down or his assistant
'cause he's basically a large
man baby that doesn't know how
the world.
Works.
Wow.
AT Nargar says damn not Greg is
back.
I am.
And I got news for you.
You didn't.
You didn't misspell Greg and oh,
you know.
Attacking the listeners.
Just for the record, I know that
name Nargars I.
Don't know who it is.
Is that your mom?
No, that's ruckus Unchained.
That's Ruckus Unchained.
Maybe.
Maybe the GARS is the mailman
over here.
Maybe.
Nargars.
Nargars.
My mom said Palmer needs to Fact
Check what he says.
Laugh out loud, shout out from
Ruckus Unchained.
Yes, we know.
Look.
We don't fact.
Here's the reality.
The reality is that Palmer was
going to say whatever he wants
to say, and he's going to say it
with the level of conviction
that we're all going to believe
it unless you check.
So don't.
Check.
So I highly recommend you check.
Don't check, just go with it.
It's more fun.
And I'm going to drift back to
this one from episode 528, Ben
Rowland says 5280 Things people
should know.
That's the number of feet in a
mile, not yards.
Palmer.
Oh, it wasn't about me thinking.
So what did you do on that?
That's when Greg was trying to
metric system was much better
than freedom than.
Freedom.
He's an idiot.
He didn't like freedom
measurements, he doesn't like
the term.
He doesn't like how it's all
random, that it's 12 inches make
a foot, 3 feet make a yard.
And then I went on 2 yards into
miles.
Yeah, yeah, he said Americans
make no sense with freedom.
Anything which I was like, I'm
thinking in my head, I'm like
this guy uses a tape measure to
cut all the wood and like, what
is he talking?
About yeah, maybe he's got a
metric one.
Sometimes he's just angry, man,
you know what I mean.
Yes, he's just angry.
I don't know why he'd be so
angry.
I mean, he's going on great
vacations, got lots of money.
And again on a great vacation.
His mom likes him, his mom a lot
of things.
He doesn't have to get her
anymore.
She comes by train.
Yeah.
Oh yeah.
Train an Uber.
I mean, he could technically not
see her and she could come up
here and leave.
Yeah.
She came into town on Friday and
she said she was so tired so she
didn't go to see any of the kids
football games.
Tired from the train ride?
Yeah, maybe she walked on the
train the entire time.
Yeah.
I want to be first.
I got to go together and I'm
very.
Tired.
I'm tired.
All right, my guys, CW6383 says
the Sumatra is here.
And you are correct, Sir.
Indeed it is.
Look at you.
There it is.
The Churchill is the smoothest
for sure.
I had the grand grand robusto,
Grand Toro.
Grand Toro.
I had the Grand Toro this
morning.
It was very smooth.
It was very good.
Yeah, I like both of them.
I've not smoked the Church Hill
or the Grand Bruce, no.
Well, we haven't swung any
hammers today either.
Yeah, I don't know what that
means, but.
We work in cigars, he works in
construction.
Gotcha.
Well, you know, I would say that
they're available upstairs, but
they're not yet, you know, on.
Camera stop working.
I don't know why.
So weird.
So weird.
I'll make sure you get one at
the end of the show, so.
Did yours?
Thank you, Mikey.
Yours did too, in editing.
CW says I'm not really localish.
I'll pay for shipping if I need
to, Palmer.
I've reached out to him to send
me his address, don't take care
of that.
His address.
I have his address.
Oh, I didn't know.
Yeah, I have his address all
right.
Did he order the hat on the no
Palmer or on the Palmer no
shipping?
He won a hat.
No, but what I'm going to do is
I'll build the link for the
other hat and send it to him and
then just put them both
together.
I forgot he was the one getting
the other.
Hat Yeah, I just, I'll make it
tonight after whatever. 15
games.
So, Phil, don't leave today.
I got to get you to sign his
mask.
Yeah, OK.
If you want to hear your comment
Riddle out, settle out on the
show, comment below on this
episode and it may get settle
out.
It doesn't have to be funny,
could just be a comment.
But we but we prefer funny.
I I prefer you attacking these
two that I'm with.
Oh, why?
Because everyone's attacking you
right now.
You don't want that no more.
Oh, I don't care that that
doesn't bother me at all.
People can attack me all day,
but it bothers you?
Yeah.
Some of them, yeah.
None of them.
OK, so.
No comment from Palmer on that.
OK.
I don't care if they attack me,
I mean what difference does it
make if they enjoy it, let them
go.
As long as they're having fun,
yeah.
Let's take away.
I mean, I purpose I I for the
most part, I don't really engage
on the short comments because a
lot of those are negatives like
OK, like they have no idea
anything about us or the show,
but they chirp about something
I'm like.
Somebody said something on one
of the shorts and I didn't
really understand what their
problem.
Was, yeah.
And that makes sense.
That's usually the way it goes.
Like what are they talking
about?
You know, I like to hear a lot
of Greg jokes in the comments.
Let's do that one.
Well, they say that they like
him.
We know what I'm talking about.
No, don't say that no more.
I want to hear like mean stuff
about.
That mean stuff about triple.
G yeah, Triple G spot.
Triple G spot All right,
everybody, are you?
Are you with?
Us, he's doing his taxes.
No.
That was funny because it was
just sort of out of the blue.
I have, I did a major change on
the site and I'm working on it
and we're at like this, yeah.
Which site you had a little more
specific?
There's a lot of them.
There's the wholesale, there's
the Chapter 5.
Well, to be honest, I'd like I
it's, I'm usually dabbling on
all of them at the same time.
Right now it's the retail site
and I'm working on bringing
everything together.
So it's box 5 pack single gotcha
instead of individual products.
So it was merged and it was a
disaster.
So it's not.
So it's up, but it's messy.
So I'm trying to get it sorted
and you know, this is my life.
It's not and there's nothing
new.
So it is what it is, buddy.
I hate that saying.
That's what it is, buddy.
It is what it is.
It's worth saying on the planet
and for whatever reason, when
Eric Vala da La La la da of
Mirpfell came in, he said it.
And now it's constantly, I
constantly hear it.
Oh, and it's driving me nuts.
The new sales guy that Eric is
that.
Eric National Sales.
I didn't realize he was national
so.
He's the top dog.
Oh, he's a big, big, big deal.
Sometimes I see him and he just
like backs out when he comes
back in.
Hey, how are you doing?
This is this.
And they do.
That I was like a.
Wandering magician.
He likes the magician thing.
I saw the Magician, the PCA by.
The way no that guy is.
AI saw him.
Weird magician.
I saw him in PCA.
He was arrogant.
He's the one that like, acts
like the birds going to come out
of his jacket and it doesn't.
And always like, oh, it's in my
pocket.
Hold on a second.
I like the fact that Phil hates
the mask so much that it's not
on so he refuses to put himself
on camera because.
Right, he would rather not me on
camera.
Than wear the mask.
It's super itchy.
You guys have no idea.
It's actually so this is working
well.
It's working out for.
Us, because we've done
everything for him, we've given
him the camera, we've set him
up, we get him the new masks,
keep it exciting and he just.
I can't do this mask, fellas.
So we just won't set up the
camera next tomorrow?
Yeah, I was going to say next
week, but no, it's tomorrow.
Leave it off.
No, no, no.
I received how?
Does this become about me?
Let's move on.
I've received a message from 13
knives.
Oh, I'm getting one.
He thought 14 Knives was very
funny.
He he enjoyed the joke.
And then he offered to make me
one.
I was like, no, no, no, it's
fine.
It's fine.
It was just for the show.
I'm not mad.
I mean, there's no reason to.
But thank you very much for the
offer.
Why don't I don't get these
messages?
Because you didn't go, you
didn't go to 15 knives and and
promote your knife.
We did.
There was a whole spiel about
all this.
We did a whole joke, Palmer told
me.
He he bought his one, but he
didn't really buy his or
something.
And we started making jokes back
in 14.
Niners I.
You know what, here's what's
funny and everything.
It's like, look, that was very
nice to him to reach out to you.
Right.
Yeah.
Well, he thought it was funny.
He thought the bit was funny.
Yeah.
And look like he gets it.
We're we're trying to help him.
Yeah, right.
Yeah.
Which is a dope knife.
Well our our Bahama friend wants
1 so I've connected them.
He's going to be making one for
him.
There you go.
Yeah, perfect.
He thought we sold them
wholesale and he was like, what
is the price for that?
I will buy them.
I'm like.
That's alright, we're not doing
that.
Yeah, this was a gift.
I'm sorry, we're not in the
knife business.
No, right.
No, that's that's pretty funny.
Yeah, it was.
It was entertaining.
I will buy one.
I hope he gets good business
off, but you know.
Yeah, yeah, me too.
Yeah.
They're great, nice, and nobody
got squeezed.
We didn't say, well, to promote
it, it's going to be blah, blah,
blah.
He just did a good thing, right?
And then we did a good thing.
Yep, so.
All right, California mayor
resigns after being charged with
acting as an illegal agent of
China.
Surprise, surprise.
What is going on?
Eileen Wang, that's a real name,
has agreed to plead guilty as
she faces up to 10 years in
prison, according to federal
prosecutors.
They say she secretly worked to
advance pro Beijing messaging in
the US, allegedly spreading
propaganda tied to the Chinese
government.
We're not asking leaving.
We're not asking leaving.
You should buy Chinese products,
they're very good.
Think about how did how did how
did these people get into
office?
I don't get.
It I know, I mean.
There was definitely some hands
greased.
Oh, you think the getter elected
mayor?
They're not saying what city,
just a California mayor, right?
Not saying what city.
And that's only how many
resignations there are.
This is.
Wang I feel like I could run for
mayor and get it.
Here.
Probably not.
Here.
Wherever.
Oh, somewhere else?
Maybe somewhere?
Else like where I live.
Where you live in Seminole
County?
Oh yeah.
It's good.
I feel like I could get it.
Then you should.
Who's your man now?
For you and he doesn't need to
live.
In your account, I'm going to
tell you like, I would do it and
then I would just see what I
could get away with.
I would just not wear pants
ever.
I mean, the pantsless, man, Like
like a suit.
I'd had the jacket and then just
like briefs.
And you only have the one suit,
so nobody would.
Yeah, it'd be the same thing
like now.
You don't need it then.
Don't.
Don't talk to him.
Don't.
Don't, don't.
Tell I'm sorry, are you looking
at something like?
Make a boxer, Bruce.
Like boxer briefs, OK.
Yeah, well, you just said
briefs, so I thought it was a
tiny Whitey game.
It's not tight.
I don't I don't know what mine
are called that I use.
They're they're boxer briefs.
Are you?
Do you want to show us?
No.
I mean I.
Don't know.
I don't know how you want us to
help.
I'm pretty sure I know what they
are.
They're boxer briefs.
They're boxer briefs.
Are they thongs?
Stop.
Yeah.
Thong to Tong Tong.
Now available chapter pod my.
Face Thong.
My face on your way.
After you wear them, put them in
a Ziploc bag.
We'll sell them that way.
There you go.
They are scented as Mikey.
Mayor, mayor, mayor, Mayor.
Step on Kevitch.
Oh, watch the news, try to say
your name.
Well, you have to say, Mayor
Mikey, step on Kevitch, 'cause
there's another step on Kevitch.
I don't.
Think they're going to think
it's the triple.
G he doesn't qualify.
He'll he'll be out of the
country.
Yeah.
Like he's, you know?
Yeah, he'd be the illegal one.
He's in Antarctica.
He's going to Antarctica.
He probably is.
That's probably next.
Antarctica.
He wants to go fight with the
polar bears.
Oh my.
God, oh, that doesn't go well.
Yeah, we've seen the video that.
Doesn't go well.
That doesn't work out his favor.
I don't know.
They don't lock their doors
there in case you have to run
and hide.
That's not in Antarctica, that's
in Alaska.
No, in Antarctica they do too.
And they're people that live in
Antarctica.
Sure.
There's the stations there.
The the, the I can't think of
where we're going.
Stations.
No, no, they're the.
Go.
Ahead.
Well, they do all the all the
tests.
And stuff all the time.
All the tests, all the tests,
they just live in Santa.
Claus Stations.
And the experiments and.
Things and the experiments, yes.
On like the aliens or what?
OK, when you're talking, I will
look up the number of people
that live in Antarctica.
No, I'll look it up, don't
worry.
OK, you look it up.
Yeah, yeah.
The Norad 51.
Yeah, let me ask how many people
live in Antarctica?
Santa Claus.
There's actually people that
live in Antarctica, true.
There is people that live
everywhere.
I wanna hear the number.
What do you think?
1000.
How many people?
10,000.
You went the wrong way.
Less than 1000.
People, there's 1300 people.
Dang, that's it. 1300 people.
And they don't lock their doors.
They're frozen, chant.
Ask it, ask it.
Ask it if they lock if they lock
their doors.
Do people in Antarctica lock
their doors?
They.
Probably don't live in
buildings.
Do you want me to use chat TPT
for this?
Yes, I do the timu of AI.
Wow.
Hey chat, TPT works well.
Yeah, I like chat TPT.
You just got to train it.
In Antarctica, particularly in
research stations like those.
Research stations.
McMurdo or Amundsden Scott doors
are generally not locked.
This is largely due to safety
concerns.
Keeping doors unlocked allows
quick access in case of
emergencies like severe weather
or accidents.
Polar bears In a small close
knit communities where everyone
knows each other, there's little
concern about the theft making
locked doors unnecessary.
So now here's what we need to
do.
So I was.
Right.
You were kind of right.
You talked about, you said polar
bears.
That is not.
They said in.
Emergency situations If a polar
bears chasing you, pretty much
an emergency situation.
It said more like severe weather
conditions.
Well, that too, yeah.
What do?
We need to do.
Listen, here's what I'm going to
tell you.
First of all, I'm going to give
you the West on this one, OK?
Because you're constantly
attacked, right?
You're constantly attacked.
Everybody tells you you're wrong
all the time.
And you were right, right.
So there you go.
OK, first and foremost, All
right?
Second thing, we can go into
Antarctica, right?
And then become like friends
with everybody and just take all
of their stuff in like like
Grinch style, like on one night.
Where are we gonna go with it?
Just to to Mikey's mayor.
House and then just go.
Mikey's mayor of Antarctica?
Yeah.
Oh, then why did why did you do
it?
Because the doors were unlocked.
I mean, what did you want from
me?
It's not breaking and entering.
I get this really nice
clipboard.
He got a camera.
Yeah, I got this.
He got a big flashlight.
Polar bear coat.
It's still it's, it's still
highly illegal to do that.
By the way, I know that you
you're.
In Antarctica.
Where you live in this this
fantasy world that you can just
walk in if the door is unlocked,
it's OK and it's not illegal.
It's definitely still breaking
the law.
Yeah, tomato, Tomato.
OK, no, that's not how that
works.
Breaking and entering.
Not breaking and entering.
No.
No such law in Antarctica.
There's only 1300 people.
OK, All right.
So we're leaving China.
We're done.
We're done with the Chinese
story.
It's week 1, here we go.
Mayor Wang.
Mayor Wang, she's going to jail
for maybe 10 years.
Whatever.
Which type of jail?
A Chinese gym.
Somehow we started in Cali and
we wound up in Antarctica, but
whatever.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know how we.
Way MO is recalling its massive
fleet of autonomous vehicles
over a defect that may post
significant safety risk.
All right, what do you think it
is now that they can't do so?
We've already had the problem
where if the power goes out and
the red lights don't work, they
don't know what to do.
OK, So what do you think the new
problem is?
They can't make U turns.
Phil over there knocking Flint
and something together.
What a years ago?
Yeah, I got to have this, these
two rocks.
What was the original problems?
If the power goes out in the
city, they don't know what to do
with the stop light, so they
just stop.
Oh yeah, these are the automated
cars.
Yeah, way MO.
Maybe a child runs out in front
of the car.
No, I think it does a good job
of that I would assume.
All right, due to a software
defect that could allow robo
taxis to drive into flooded
roads, they don't know what to
do when the road is flooded, so
they go faster.
That's.
Amazing, that's what I do when I
see a puddle.
That is amazing.
This is flooded, not just a
puddle, so they go faster and
then they crash.
They crash into the water.
Well, they crash either into or
out of the water, one of the
other.
Yeah, but where are these?
Where are these cars located
While?
In Orlando.
What type of flooding is there?
When it rains here, what do you
want?
Type of flooding serious.
Is there flooding like that
where you could crash in the
water and die?
Of course.
Who said die?
Well, it sounded like it.
They're recalling 3791 vehicles.
I'm very convincing.
He's gonna die.
That's over.
That's almost triple the
population of Antarctica.
That's right.
The recall follows incidents of
vehicles entering or failing to
stop for high speed flooded
areas.
The action allows an indecent or
incident in which a driverless
vehicle failed to come to a
complete stop after encountering
flooded road conditions on a
high speed roadway.
You should have gone with them
decent.
What's the lawsuit look like on
that?
You know what I mean?
It depends on who they who
they've hit.
I'm sure there's a checkbox.
No, no, no, no.
I'm sure there's a checkbox when
you get in there when you ask
for the ride that says I have no
rights.
If you die, if you aren't alive,
you're there's nothing you can
do.
Yeah, yeah, there's no way.
They probably, there's probably
some lawsuits already.
I would.
Assume.
Oh, I'm.
I'm sure somebody has.
Morgan.
Morgan's all over that.
I like, yeah, I like to see the.
Waymos.
We call them death boxes.
Call us now.
Call us now I.
Call us now for the people.
Not the robot.
You find yourself in a lake with
a Waymo.
Has anybody looked at this stock
on this company?
Like are they making money?
No.
Has anybody been in one yet?
No, no, I saw, I've seen them.
Yeah, I've seen them.
I've seen one.
I've not been.
In one they still have did.
Did we ride in one in Vegas last
time I was in Vegas?
No.
No, through the tunnel.
No, I thought.
We the tunnel was closed.
The tunnel was closed.
Oh.
Because we really wanted to ride
it, remember?
Yeah.
But I went down there.
I'm like, this is cool.
And there was nobody there.
Probably could have just walked
in there.
Oh, stop me.
Well that's the tunnel where the
cars going the same way, so like
4 of them go and then they turn
around they all because there's
only one tunnel.
Right, we should, we should go
ride one in Orlando.
They have a tunnel in Orlando,
no?
No, no, the cars.
The way MO.
Well, they have. 3791 have been
recalled.
There might not be any in
Orlando.
That's a problem.
You think this is something they
would have they would have
checked for, you know, like the
street lights or the the stop
lights?
You know, look, I don't entirely
agree with that statement.
Yeah, you got to work through
the kinks.
Man, yeah, the reality is that
you're not going to catch all of
it, and there's going to be
things you don't see coming and
you just got to pivot, adjust
and fix, I guess.
I'm so glad I have these
headphones though because I just
caught him with a little
undertone statement.
What did you say I.
Don't know, but it was funny at
the time.
Oh.
Man, I don't even remember why I
said yeah.
I'm sure somebody will comment.
Somebody will say something at
2459.
No, not quite.
Well, yeah, it was before that.
Adjusted minutes, buddy.
But you know what?
Antarctica.
I guess we're going to add it to
stuff you didn't understand.
But Antarctica came up because
you guys are talking about
Greg's vacation.
Yeah, All right, We're moving
on.
Moving.
All right.
Two South Florida police
officers claim Ben Affleck and
Matt Damon's recent action
thriller The RIP.
Has anybody seen it?
Great movie.
I've heard I started watching it
I didn't like.
It it was predictable.
I've heard the controversy of
this.
Well, you know why it's
predictable?
Because they use too many real
life details in the
fictionalized narrative, causing
harm to the officers personal
and professional reputations.
The two officers that they
followed around getting
information for the movie are
suing them because they use the
information for the movie.
It doesn't work that way.
Yeah, I don't know what kind of
releases they signed, but
apparently they use too close to
real life.
I mean, yeah, but if you looked
like OK, it would have to be
virtually identical.
Yeah, I mean, you know, they,
they, they have started a
defamation lawsuit.
Yeah, there's also legality
things with police officers.
There's like certain things you
can't use.
The idea of the movie was that
they were stealing money or
something from drug dealers or
something.
No, no, there there are corrupt
cops, but the way that it
without ruining the movie,
there's a way of.
Spoiler alert.
OK, now you can do whatever.
You want, there's a way of
looking at it where you don't
know if this guy's a good cop or
a bad cop, but if you if you've
seen a few movies, you pick
right up on all of them.
Yeah, yeah, sure.
Oh, is this the one with the
Mexican cartel?
Yes.
Oh, I've seen the movie.
Yeah, it's a good movie.
I sure didn't like it.
I didn't like.
Yeah, you're just grumpy though.
No, no, no it's not.
I'm not a big fan of Ben Affleck
to start with.
He makes make great movies.
Name 1.
Yeah, name 1.
Batman.
Yeah, that's a terrible version
of Ben.
Yeah, I, I, you know, I got
caught like a deer in the
headlights on that one for.
How about goodwill hunting?
Yep.
OK, you can't do the first one
they ever.
Made How about the accountant?
Bourne series.
Ben Affleck was not in the
Bourne.
No, you said Matt Damon.
No, I said Ben Affleck.
I said Ben Affleck.
Oh, Ben Affleck, he makes all
the great Dunkin' Donuts
commercials.
I like Ben Affleck.
I don't like Ben Affleck.
He's a great, He's a great.
He's a great actor.
What's the one?
The oceans?
Weren't they in the oceans
together?
No, Ben Affleck was not in
Oceans.
He directed it.
He was in Flash.
'Cause he was Batman again.
OK Air.
He was great in there.
He played Buck Knight.
Yep, Buck Knight, baby.
He's never watched it 'cause
it's a sports movie.
No, no I didn't.
Man, Damon did a better job of
that movie.
What?
But Ben Affleck played Buck
Knight?
Great.
How about the?
Guy that gave the amazing
speech.
How about the last duel?
That was pretty good.
Was that that looked terrible.
Yeah, that was a good. 10 It was
a good movie.
Townies.
Townies.
Oh, you're talking about
Jamestown.
Yeah, that.
Was oh with his brother.
That was a great movie.
Yeah.
What was the one where they were
in Boston?
The town.
It was the town.
Yeah, it was Batman.
Everything was Batman.
Smoking Aces.
I mean, this guy's been in a ton
of movies.
Yeah, that doesn't make him
good.
Does.
It mean Daredevil.
He was great in Daredevil.
Oh, that's a terrible.
Movie.
You're a terrible person.
No, I'm not Pearl Harbor.
Yes, that's why we have spam.
The accent was terrible.
Jay and Silent Bob strike back.
He was silent.
He didn't have a line.
Boiler Room.
Yes.
Boiler Room.
I'm not familiar.
With that, Oh my God.
And his speech in that movie was
great.
You never watch the boiler room.
I said I'm not familiar with it,
I haven't seen it.
Money doesn't buy you happiness
and he throws his keys to the
Ferrari on the table.
Ear to ear, baby.
Yeah, he was in Pearl Harbor.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's why we have Spam.
Terrible accent.
Though Armageddon.
Yes.
Guys, OK.
Everybody cries.
Come on, is that name of a?
Movie.
Everybody cries.
I don't.
Want to miss a thing?
Yeah, when you watch it, you
know that he's going to.
Bruce Willis is going to die,
you cry.
School ties.
My familiar.
Brandon No, this is that's an
old movie.
Yeah.
He was in Fields of Dreams.
Great movie.
Was he the kid?
I'm sorry, I've seen that. 600
times, yeah.
He was the child.
He was the child.
He must have been the.
Kid, that was.
Him in 1989.
Yeah, it's definitely a Kevin
Costner.
Listen, we can't even hear.
The dreams?
No, let's build that.
They will come.
That's the baseball movie, Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, Ray, Ray Liotta's.
See the problem is Kevin Costner
had like 12 different baseball
movies so it's hard to follow.
It's either baseball or G1 of
the other he's always done.
They're great movies, but
they're all the.
Same.
They're all the same movie with
a different name.
Yeah.
Except Yellowstone.
He fucked that up, Taylor shared
and said no problem and you're
dead.
Well, it was the end of the.
We're going to Texas.
That's supposed to start next
week.
Yeah, OK.
I'm getting tired of Marshall.
It's.
I don't even watch it.
I don't know what what article
you're on, but we should just
keep it moving.
Memphis Grizzly.
Ford, Brandon.
Clark, can't believe you brought
this up.
My.
Son was a.
Sports story there was on the
radio this morning.
Yeah.
But the way that you titled this
in the beginning was bad.
That gets people to listen.
His agency in NBA said to.
NBA said Tuesday he was 29.
Neither the Grizzlies nor the
Clark's agents elite agency
Priority Sports provided any
details about his death.
LAPD sources confirm ABC News
that Clark was found dead from a
possible drug overdose Monday in
his home located in Los Angeles,
San Francisco.
Narcotics were found at the.
Los Angeles, San Francisco.
San San Fernando.
Sorry, San Fernando.
Close enough.
Valley sarcotics were found at
the scene and there was no
evidence of foul play.
We just merged 2 cities.
Well, they weren't sure where he
was.
ABC News in Los Angeles first
reported details surrounding
Clark's death Tuesday.
The Grizzly said in a statement
that they are heartbroken by the
tragic loss of Clark.
Brandon was an outstanding
teammate and even better person
whose impact on the organization
and the greater Memphis
community will not be.
Forgotten.
Yeah.
Man that's terrible dude.
Yeah. 29 Holy moly.
He was a good, he was a good
role player.
What'd you say?
Drugs will do that to you.
And, well, allegedly, because
you don't know for a fact what
happened, what went down.
He was also arrested this past
April 1st in Arkansas for
speeding possession of a
controlled substance.
Which one?
Yeah, they didn't indicate what
the substance was.
Reportedly, kratom, an herbal
supplement promoted as an
alternative pain remedy that
becomes illegal in Tennessee and
July 1st.
He was released on bond a day
later.
I don't understand the kratom 1
like.
It knocks you out.
It's like potpourri.
Slows you down.
What a shame man.
You know, like every year.
I just saw this awesome video
with Michael Beasley.
I thought you got to see Ben
Affleck.
You know who Michael Beasley is?
Yeah, Mr. Homeless now.
Mr. Homeless now, Yeah.
And he was, I think he was
talking to Shannon Sharpe, I
think, and it was about D Rose
and and him and they and he
goes, look, man, 60 people make
it into the NBA every year.
Of that, 20 of them instantly
get cut, right?
Right.
So you're talking about a pool
of about 40 people that made
into the NBA when this kid made
it in.
And to go through that, to work
your ass off to get to that
level and to have something like
this on so unfortunate happened
to you, that's just a damn
shame, man.
Yeah, it's easy when you're
being shovelled a lot of money,
right?
Yeah.
You not have access.
Well, cause money, you know,
money buys the drugs and the
people that you're probably
partnering with.
Cause a lot of those guys party
'cause they're a professional
sports player.
They're just in that world.
You know, it's, it's, it's
probably pretty easy to do, but
you know, they got to stick the
line.
It just sucks to see someone so
young with so much opportunity
and and them losing their life
at such an early age.
Michael Beasley was the guy you
were just talking about.
He's super lucky that he hasn't
died yet because that guy is an
NBA champion, but he lives on
the street.
Yeah, you could tell that guy
was.
He's not still an NBA champion,
is he?
No.
You can tell he's a.
No, he hasn't.
No, he has a ring.
Well, he may not have the ring
anymore.
He might have sold it for crack
because that's he he was doing
crack.
The way you said it made it
sound like he's still playing
basketball.
He just doesn't go home, he goes
to the streets.
Oh, no, no, no, no.
He's.
You start listening to Tori and
you and you hear about all these
people that take advantage of
these players as they're coming
up and it's just terrible, man.
I'm like God damn.
Yeah.
Another basketball player died.
I didn't pull the story the.
Yeah, Collins, Jason Collins.
Yeah, how do you?
Die for they didn't.
I don't think they really
mention it because the headline
with him is he was the first
openly gay NBA player.
Yeah, that was the headline.
Well, I hope it wasn't suicide
or something man.
He's young, so I mean, it's
it's, yeah, I don't know.
It didn't.
It didn't.
It didn't specify that.
The pictures he didn't look as
young as the other guy.
I think he was in his 30s or
early 40s.
Yeah, I was gonna say I thought
it was 30s or 40s.
Man, it's still pretty, you
know?
That's art, you know, That's me
and Mikey's age.
So that's old.
I mean, not like my friend over
here for the US Mail, but.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's just terrible, dude.
You better give me something
light.
I need to give me something, you
know?
What's the next article?
Cigar News.
He might not like it.
Here it comes.
Do you have a video?
I do.
Is it a light video?
It can be.
We can talk about your video
from yesterday.
They've released more
information about that guy.
What?
Oh, the plane guy, Yeah.
Oh, there's a follow up.
It was suicide.
No, Yeah, yeah.
Like you didn't know that.
Jump in.
Front of a plane?
Yeah.
And we jump in front of a plane.
Suicide by plane, Yeah.
I didn't see this plane coming
down.
And it was a frontier, it was
Colorado.
It was a frontier airline, not a
Delta plane.
They're about to go back, grow.
His frontier.
He died of reoccurring head
trauma.
Oh.
God, it's not.
It's it's.
I know it's much faster.
So you're saying that they his
body was intact?
Yeah, it sounds like it just
whacked him in the head several
1000 times.
Wow.
Suicide, huh?
Yep, that's what.
They're saying no, no,
unplanned.
I sent you a video.
We did, you know, if you watch
our episode from that day,
you'll see all the ways that we
talk about we could go.
Yeah, nobody commented on that.
I thought there would be
comments.
I thought mine was definitely
getting comments but Nope it's
not.
Oh, I saw this.
OK.
Yeah, I'd like to talk about
this.
This is definitely Patreon
content, however we've already
recorded the Patreons A.
Very important question for you.
Tell me.
So how do you like my new
haircut?
I I call it reggaeton fresh.
You know I'm.
Glad you asked me about.
That I happen to be very partial
to it myself.
Dare I say it's attractive?
You dare.
So do you have a question for
me?
In fact, I do.
I was going to ask you in this
new chapter of your journey in
the cigar business, what is the
most exciting part of it?
Family.
Family.
But you said a couple of months
ago before the PCA show, we were
at the corner having lunch and I
said to you, what do you think
of Jay says?
He said, I love what you're
doing with your boy.
I love that piece of what you're
doing with your family in this
next chapter.
And I've always said to you when
I see you with your son, that's
that one feeling I get of what I
want with my JD too.
Like the way you're always with
him and doing great.
Things I.
Haven't seen this.
Love you.
All right, I'll start with you
'cause I'm, I can, I can feel
Mike on the other side over
here.
In the beginning, it's kind of
awkward seeing these two just,
like, sitting there, just kind
of disgusting.
But it gets pretty deep, you
know?
Like now they're.
Yeah.
Like they're talking about I,
I'm guessing he's referring to
all the trips that Booth's going
on with his family and stuff
like that, Right?
I don't think so, but OK.
They're talking about Sans's new
cigars and stuff, yeah.
Oh, I thought it said something
about his.
Boy, yeah, he asked, or Booth
said that he likes that he's
doing something with his son,
right?
I think that's very exciting.
Is this cigar with his son?
Sons and Sons is the name.
Of the Welcome to the Cigar
House's podcast.
We've been talking about this
for about 3 months.
Sons and Sons is his new cigar
brand.
Oh, so it was confirmed we were
talking about him?
He's got a.
Confirmed he's already put out
cigars.
Yeah, we we have talked about
this.
I don't remember him having a
new company.
I remember we were talking about
why is he doing this?
He's.
Opening up a retail location,
he's going direct to consumer
and he's going to make special
products for people.
His own brand.
His own brand sell other cigars
and you can rent the place out
and have parties there.
I'm sorry anyways.
OK.
So, so you're excited, you're
OK.
No, I'm not.
I'm not excited.
Yeah, no, it just, it looks like
you're like it was.
It got deep.
No, I mean, it looked like it
was getting deep.
But I mean, if we're if, if
that's what they're talking
about, then yeah, he's creating
his own brain.
He's still doing it.
That's what he's doing.
He's marketing.
OK, Palmer.
There's several things.
OK yes.
Can they not make all?
I'm trying to be nicer though,
but this is.
Look, just apologize now.
Just just hey, listen.
I apologize now.
Yeah, I'm.
Very sorry, we're sorry we have
an opinion about.
That very sorry, we have an
opinion and then I get everybody
else in the room to be quiet
while they make their.
Video.
Oh my God, 100%.
Can they not get microphones?
Off the jump, OK, Yes, correct.
Correct.
OK, OK.
I didn't understand that or I
didn't realize.
I don't even know what they call
them now.
Mr. Sons was built that way.
He's got like a large head, tiny
shoulders and his arms and legs
were skinny.
Is that because he's wearing a
skinnier?
Shirt, I guess because I've
never seen him in shorts and AT
shirt definitely he's wearing
more flamboyant.
Something baggier.
Yeah, Yeah.
That's.
What?
Whoa.
Whoa.
Whoa.
Not flamboyant?
Yeah.
Well, I'm, yeah, flashier.
Flashier.
Flamboy.
Does that mean flashier?
It could.
It doesn't have to be gay.
That's what you're saying.
I.
Didn't say that.
Yeah, relax.
I didn't say that over there.
Homophobia.
I didn't say that.
Listen, I'm tired of this
homophobia.
No kidding, and it's hard to
tell if it was scripted or not.
You saw him in a bathing suit.
It was hard to tell.
You think it was hard to tell?
Part of it has to be, but then
some of it wasn't, and it's not.
I mean, not like they're reading
a teleprompter and they had cue
cards, OK.
I mean, that's a lot of memory
to OK.
You think Matt Booth will read
scripts?
No, I thought more the other guy
was that was the one that was
the other guy.
Like a better word, a little
dry.
Like how you say the other guy.
OK, the other guy, Mr. Mr. Sawn.
Is it Drew?
Is it Drew?
JD?
Mr. Sawn?
This is Mr. Sawn Johnson.
I have no idea what his name.
Is you know what, we're just
going to dub him the new guy.
OK.
The other guy.
OK, OK, Why?
I agree with a lot of things
that you're saying.
OK, OK.
And anything else, Barbara,
because Mikey's chomping out
the.
Bed to get his stuff off his
head.
Wait, let's, let's interact.
Here, because some of those
things were 100% action.
Those are the things that like
what?
No, Mike's like what?
What?
Yeah, like can I get a two shot
out of this?
You know, like something
something.
Right.
No, we write this out.
And I don't know, Soda Cam, I
don't know what's going on in
the background, but like, yeah,
somebody's negotiating
something.
He's doing ordering her lunch or
something.
I don't.
I don't.
Yeah.
And I'm like, OK, all right.
And.
You can't go.
I'm sorry.
We're doing a video.
Can you please just keep it
down?
Forgive us 5 minutes.
Yeah.
To clear the room.
The haircut thing.
Super.
Weird.
So, so it was like it was set up
so that there was 2 questions
asked, right?
Right.
Mr. Son asked his question.
Do you like my hair?
Right, Rigaton, whatever.
Right.
OK.
And then and then Matt had to
ask this like an in depth
question about this business,
right, right.
It's you took the most, you took
the guy that was the most
authentic and would say whatever
how he felt at any given moment.
And you and and people gravitate
towards that because of it's
authenticity.
Talking about Matt now, Yeah,
OK.
Yeah, the poop guy.
And you put him in a box with a
frigging question that he had to
ask you that did not look
genuine.
No right.
And and if you look at Matt, the
poor guy, you could he's like,
if he's not himself, no, he's
not himself.
The one of.
Them were, I mean Jonathan or
the other guy, he, he does
videos off the cuff all the
time.
They couldn't have just done
that.
That would have been perfect.
That's what they had.
To do.
Could you show us an example,
Palmer?
What he does, No.
That would have been.
Perfect video we mocked
yesterday where he I've smoked
two boxes of these already.
It was 3 by the way.
You say 3 something.
You did the voice.
I know that you're going for
that, but we're I'm staying on
track with this.
Very good.
Like, yeah, I mean, one of the
of the best things to do with
Matt.
Is let him be mad.
Is to let him be mad.
Right.
Hey bro, what's up?
You know, just whatever you
could have winged 45 seconds of
nothing.
Oh, he could have winged 45
minutes of.
Nothing and it would have been
hilarious and you could have
dabbled in about you could have
did your little plug if you
wanted to.
You could have told him, Here's
what I want us to talk.
About hey, now go.
All you got to say is, hey, are
you excited about me building
this?
And boom, you would have heard
it.
Oh, I'm so excited.
I can't stand that.
You have no idea how extremely
hard my nipples are at the fact
you know what I mean.
Like that's what.
That's what Matt does.
And then it would have been
like, Oh my God.
This is great, right?
This is great.
But instead you put it in a box
and now it has 0 authenticity
like you can't do that.
Nope, you can't do that.
They put a saddle.
I expect better from you, John.
They.
Put a saddle on Matt Booth.
I expect better from you.
Yeah, we don't.
You don't saddle Matt.
Saddle Matt Booth, Yeah.
You don't, no.
You let him Booth.
You let Booth booth, right?
Love a guy.
So yeah, I'm sure we'll get a
message on that one, so I'm
sorry.
But look, it's him.
Who do you think you're going to
get the message from?
Booth Well, JD lost my number
probably 15, probably 15 years
ago, but he'll he might chime in
on a short.
Well, that's not his name
anymore.
Maybe.
Sometimes.
Whoever you are.
So there's.
Tons.
Other guys.
Look the second guy, look all
I'm saying.
Is a rigaton that's a dude named
Mr. Rigaton.
You know, I like that one,
Rigaton.
Rigaton Hair.
Even though it's reggaeton, but
we'll go over you.
Just got to let him cook bro.
Just.
Let him do it.
I text Matt, I said.
I'm talking about this and
you're going to be mad, but then
you're going to have to get over
it because we're friends and
what do you say?
He didn't respond.
Must have been a meeting.
Probably busy, yeah.
This might have been what he was
doing when we were trying to do
the the Little Debbie cakes.
I called him yesterday.
He didn't answer.
I was going to say, what the
hell was that it?
Looks like this was a piece.
This wasn't a PC.
AI assume it was.
Yeah, no.
You know the thing I was where
is it going to find a stage?
Probably at son and son's events
and that was at the.
Store could have been that rest
Yeah, just walking around with
that gold thing in his car.
And I don't.
Yes, and I don't know how
somebody doesn't.
And that was the big.
One like, hey, we're doing a
recording.
Yeah, sure.
This is a minute and 15 seconds,
right?
You don't have to unpack now,
right?
Put the glassware back down.
Right.
Like just can you just right for
one.
Where is Sons and Sons Event
Center located in Miami?
Miami Wood in South Florida.
Really wood?
Yeah.
OK.
So that was, that was, that was
terrible.
That was, I expect, bad.
Why does nobody have a
microphone that likes to make
videos?
Why does nobody call these
people out on this shit?
That's what I don't understand.
Everybody's like, oh, that's the
best.
Oh, Oh my God, no, it wasn't.
It wasn't even close.
Wait, wait, wait.
Who was that?
What's that?
That's that's the what'd you do
The lip thing?
The fanboys, the.
Fanboys, they go, oh this is
hilarious.
Look at the two of them.
Like no, it was.
He said Rigaton, Yeah.
You know what the problem is
about the microphone?
Tell me.
Is that everybody uses the same
damn microphone.
No, nobody has one.
No, you can hear them.
You can hear when people talk.
You can, yeah.
There's an echo.
Yeah, because they probably have
one off the they use the camera.
Yeah, they use the one on the
camera.
They just use their phone, dude,
you can attach the mics to the
phone, right?
Listen, look, he can.
He can have a guy with a camera
following him around.
Yeah, he can.
They can probably do it for a
box of cigars, you know what I
mean?
Like there are, there are there
are people out here that will do
that.
If he's going to do this kind of
stuff, get the equipment there
in your little entertainment
area.
Just have it.
Just have it there.
Get a DJI Osmo Pocket 3, get 2
mics and you're done.
There you go, and you're ready.
600 bucks.
Don't tell everybody how to do
their.
Own podcast, I thought he I am
going to tell people how to do
stuff.
You want to know why?
Because we need more good
content in this industry.
We need to grow this industry.
I I agree.
I agree.
And we can't do it by ourselves.
Well, we're.
We're doing 5 shows a week.
Yeah, we're doing it kind of
like that.
Can't we keep doing?
Yeah, seven days a week.
We're technically 6.
All right, but I can critique
and help people get better.
Two shows a day we got to start
doing 2 shows a day there's.
No way.
A little.
Morning show and a night.
Show let me tell you something.
Right now, Podcast after dark.
Don't you tempt me.
And we don't wear clothes.
Because that's where you lost
me.
Yeah.
Don't you tempt me because, you
know, like it wasn't that long
ago where we said doing every
day, every weekdays, Yeah.
But we know you're not coming in
on the weekend.
Yeah, you're not, and you're not
coming here at night.
Yeah, I'll zoom in.
You got.
Sports.
I'm not coming here at night.
You know what I wouldn't mind
doing the zoom one.
Like off my patio.
I'm on the field right now.
Hold on a minute, run.
Right.
Let me see all.
Right.
Sorry, Preston.
All right, back to you guys.
I need a spread tight 91 Larry.
Larry.
Zone.
Well, I want you roll out left.
We're looking at why on this
one.
We're looking at why that was
actually a legit conversation,
legit play.
So, yeah, OK.
All right, cigar news.
Oh, here we go.
Ahead of the 2026 World Cup,
there's a new Placencia cigar
arriving in stores.
So we've got the top of the
mountain, the bottom of the
mountain, the World Cup, the
volcano, and now we have on the
soccer field.
On the soccer.
Field the six and a quarter by
54 Toro extra that uses a
wrapper from Finca La Tradicion
in the Hamistran Valley of
Honduras and a binder from Finca
San Augustine from Olancho,
Honduras.
OK, that sounds like a lot.
It doesn't a lot.
The fillers come from Finca La
Tradicion and Halapa, Nicaragua,
But since he says that a single
pair of workers at its Tabaco de
Oriente factory and Donnelly and
Honduras rolled every cigar.
OK, just two people's.
Just two people.
Two people's one.
Pair well, hey, you know, if
anything screwed up, we know
exactly who to go to.
True, something wrong with the
cigars.
Not like we got to guess who
made it right?
Hey, Frank, you're in trouble.
Frank, Frank.
Well, I didn't want to say, oh,
because you guys say I'm racist.
You are.
Juan and Maria.
Yeah, I didn't want to say
anything like that.
Rosalita and what's the lady?
Who's your salesperson?
She doesn't sound racist.
She doesn't sound.
Racist.
She doesn't.
Sound racist enough?
Her name's Franchet.
It's not Spanish at all.
Well, that could be Spanish.
No, it's not even close.
All right, E cigars and MSRPF
special soccer type cigars,
gentlemen.
I think the last one was like
125 bucks or something.
Like that, the green one?
This one's green also, but it's
in a square.
I'm gonna go with 125. $45. 5999
Congratulations.
They made 5000 numbered boxes of
10 cigars.
Really.
One guy and one girl. 5000
boxes.
You're assuming it's a girl.
Usually it is.
Well, yes, but it, you know,
could.
Be a flame this day and age.
You never know, of course.
Just be a regular man.
That's very.
Meticulous man is true.
Yeah, that does a really good
job.
Yeah, who am I to judge and who
are you to judge, man?
Who is he to?
Judge.
Who is he to judge?
Keep me out of this.
He's a judger.
He's judging, Yeah, No, The
company says this is the first
time it has released a cigar
that has organic tobacco from
Honduras and Nicaragua.
In the middle of the earth.
Yes, this is the one from the
soccer field.
OK.
Crown Heads is entering the UK
market.
That was it.
That was done Well, yeah.
What else you want to talk
about?
We made fun of the names.
We we guessed the price.
We talked about the cigar, said
what's in?
It.
Yeah.
What else you want?
Yeah, go ahead it.
Was kind of like a bad preview,
like you were really like up on
it and then all of a sudden it
just ended.
OK, and that's a short story,
right?
What you want the quote from the
guy?
It makes no sense.
We've never heard of him before.
Yeah.
What do you want to?
Yeah.
What's his name?
I've taken the quotes out of
most of the articles because
they're usually just.
This is great.
I really like.
It we have worked tirelessly on
this blend.
Stuff every time.
After decades of effort, we have
created the soccer, the
football.
The.
Football, the football.
I do like the Alleva.
Soccer box, I'm sure you can get
it.
It's garbage for $4.
Really.
I don't want one, I just thought
it was it was unique, something
different.
We want it's garbage.
What?
The hell you are.
And then our new Executive
manager, Mike, the mailman
running the cameras moving
forward.
Hey, can you come in every day
at noon?
That would be perfect.
So let me ask you.
Retired.
You're retired, you just got a
lot of free time.
You can ask one question, What?
I'm, I'm kind of puzzled by
Oliva coming out with the soccer
ball because they have never had
something like that before,
right?
For for FIFA.
OK.
Right.
So, but the Placencia, this is
like kind of their thing every
year.
OK, So what happens?
What happens with most
companies?
Think.
Let's think about this.
But why didn't Placencia come
out with something like?
That OK, so something is working
for a company.
So what do you do?
You try.
You bite off of it.
You try and make it better by
putting it in the crazy wooden.
Soccer.
Soccer ball.
Yeah, it's kind of like the year
of, right.
The year of did well for one
company and then now we announce
75 year of at the beginning of
every year, right.
Right.
I mean we should make a year of
GFYI.
Think you guys are waiting for
the bear?
You're the bear.
No, I'm not waiting for any of
it.
I go to the beat of my own drum
and that's for better or for
worse I guess.
We come out with a better every
two years.
Seems like there's about to be
some type of commitment thing
here.
You keep on going with those
words.
Till death do us part.
Oh God.
Forsake all others.
For better or worse.
He said that richer.
Or poor?
Did he say better?
Yeah, richer or poor.
It's all right, we know you
didn't red light.
Sickness and in health.
I can't do it anymore.
It's broken.
By the way, I can't find that
one on Amazon anymore.
What 1?
Is red light, the red light that
I have that we're going to do, I
was going to do the little.
Thing they have them at like
Sam's and Costco.
Now you can buy the mask.
My wife has the mask but I need
the top of my head.
I would have to stretch it and
put it on top of my head.
You have to have the top of your
head red lighted.
Yeah, that's what we're going
for.
And also eating more eggs.
Why?
Don't you just wear some foil on
it?
Foil will reflect the red light,
not let my brain absorb it.
You had watch you watch the
view.
They have them every day on the
view.
The red light on the view.
The Dome one, Yeah, it sits on
your head.
Oh, is there one for that?
It's like a hat one.
Yeah, I have to look at.
That I'll buy you one.
They have them at a tractor
supply where the red lights
right in them.
That's a heat lamp for the
chickens.
Not the same thing.
Just think of it as a turbo
version.
They've changed the base of it
now, so they're not the same
anymore.
Right now they actually have
legs, not just a metal plate.
Makes sense?
Yeah, Yeah.
All right.
Crown heads entered U.S. market
for the first time in.
UK market.
What I say?
US.
They're in the US market, too.
This is why I said he's so
believable.
This isn't the first time.
No, no, the the headline was for
a different story, the second
story that's going to come out
for this one.
I believe you.
OK, for the first time in its
history, Crown Head Cigars will
be available in the US market.
The Nashville based cigar
company has announced that it
has signed a deal with Barkers
of Harrigot.
Sounds like something from Harry
Potter.
That's what I thought too when I
read it Sounds like Harry
Potter.
Harry Potter, Harry.
Potter to have it's products
distributed in the UK.
Crown Heads has not shipped any
products yet, but has not and
has not finalized when it
expects her products to be on
the shelves of British.
So you have.
They isn't there a generational
age?
Shut it down in UK now.
Yes.
So why the hell are we even
going to that market?
This just then, Crown Heads has
exited.
Not to do business with Barker's
of Harrogate.
They were confused, thought they
were renting the next Harry
Potter movie.
Hey, we're going to go into a
space where you're not going to
have anybody smoking in about 15
years.
Yeah.
Well, they get 15 years.
That's a good run, yeah.
John Hubert Co founder of Crown
Heads in a press release.
Being a family owned business
with over 30 years in tobacco
industry, Barker's was the
perfect partner for Crown Heads
as we share a common vision and
appreciation for premium cigars
and Harry Potter.
And Harry Potter?
And what about Bond?
Bond.
James Bond.
Well, yeah, but this is Barker's
of a Harrogate that sounds like,
you know, sounds like one of the
little groups that they, you
know.
What are the things that we like
out of the UK?
They put that witch head on you
and he goes oh you are Barker's
of arrogant.
Goodbye.
They also distribute Gurkha,
Christophe, Macanudo and others.
Wow, sounds like we got an
upgrade by taking on ground
heads.
Yeah, I like the moving thing up
there.
What sound like some of my
favorite cigars?
Sauter a Tear, a new project by
Lawrence and Melanie Davis.
Do you know these people?
No, not familiar either but I
did see this.
So debuted the PCA trade show
Inside Tetra Hayes booth space,
the concept focusing on cigar
specific clothing.
In Tataway space.
Yes.
You see that as you walk down
the aisle.
They were on the right hand
side.
The jackets.
Yeah.
I wonder, I wonder what that
was.
So when I saw the story, I
thought we could talk about it.
They're expensive.
Were they expensive?
Were you smoking jackets?
They are cigar specific
clothing, jackets and Blazers
designed with built in pockets
and compartments for cigars and
accessories while maintaining a
clean, stylish look.
That's pretty cool.
The goal is to offer functional,
well designed cigar apparel at a
more accessible price point.
They were expensive.
Maybe.
Maybe I'm mixing things up.
Compared to typical high end
cigar products, future products
and development include travel
cases, caps, scarves, cigar
scarves.
Yes, well, you put the cigar in
the scarf, keep your neck warm
and boom.
Tuxedo, vest and other cigar
related lifestyle items.
Initial feedback from the New
Orleans show was very positive,
encouraging further expansion of
the brands.
They don't mention the price and
anything but like, I mean, I
have a like a put a cigar right
here in this pocket.
Yeah.
But the difference is, is your
stuff from Goodwill?
This is not from Goodwill.
Or TJ Maxx You you and Chet used
to go all the time.
What?
Difference does that make?
I'm not out buying suits for
this job of which right?
I know, I'm just saying I just,
I don't see why these people
have these super expensive
things.
He's salary.
I'm going to I'm.
Going to get you one of these
jackets.
One of these jackets, I don't
know, they seem like they need
to be like burn proof or
something so you don't burn it.
You know a power or something,
don't not accept it, just get A2
XL.
I don't want A2 XL, it'd be too
big.
Yeah, it's stupid.
You're not getting one.
I have to have jackets altered
anyway because I have bigger
shoulders in the chest and.
A few arms, big shoulders.
You know what?
Unlike Jonathan's son.
Right, who has no shoulders?
Has no shoulders.
And a large head.
No offense, he got a big brain.
Yeah, he could be.
He could have a big brain.
Am I?
Well, he's on keto man, we even
got one.
Keto.
You know he's on keto.
I don't.
I didn't know that I'm just
whatever you.
Said leave him alone, he's on
keto.
Yeah, move along.
Time for the industry's favorite
game?
Why would you say that?
'Cause his body's smaller than
his head.
What's the score?
Oh.
My mask is off.
I close my eyes.
Now we have to edit that out
now.
We get that out of 59.
I think it was a lot better with
me closing my eyes.
No, it wasn't.
All right, one more time.
You were stealing the Red Bull
truck though.
But I put sunglasses on you.
Nice.
One more time, let's go time.
For the industry's favorite
game.
What's the score this.
Mask is horrible today's cigar
May 12, 2026 Patrick Lagreed,
Dominican Republic Fratello
Reviews of fratello 1821
Dominican Republic. 86.
Pick a number, it's not hard.
Mask is so.
Between 1 and 100.
We got we got a whole year's
worth of them, buddy.
We got to get bigger ones.
It's just maybe.
Some of the other faces are
bigger.
Yeah, they're not all Princess
Beach.
Did you guys see the SNL
version?
Of.
The Super Mario no Super.
That'd be great if they did,
aren't you?
But they have a Super Mario
Brother one.
They just did it anyways 85.
I like the news part of the
Saturday Night Live where they
write each other's stuff and
they have to read it.
Yeah, it's Michael.
Yeah, Michael.
Chet Chet and I did that twice,
but he didn't quite grasp the
concept.
Oh, maybe you guys should do it.
It'd be great.
You know, the best Mario skit
that I saw was this one kid.
He did this like it was in like
a almost like it was in like a
police interrogation room.
And Luigi comes in and he's like
Mario, we got to go.
And he's like, no, we don't.
He's like, but the Peach has
been captured and he's like,
yeah, she called me.
She called you like, you got to
see this.
It's amazing.
It's like every time this bitch
gets, you know, with the same
thing over and over again, and I
got to go save her ass from a
turtle, you know, like, and like
it, it takes an awesome turn.
Yeah.
Like Luigi's about to, to go off
on Mario and unalive him.
He's like, oh, it's like that,
OK.
Again with the unaliving.
Yeah, this thing with with SNL,
Mario and Peach are like married
in an apartment in New York.
It's great.
Oh, did he say a number?
Did you ever say a number?
Yeah, 85.

Clue number one Unique and
engaging flavor profile notes
like mint, creaminess,
nuttiness, and cedar create a
dynamic and interesting smoking
experience. 86. 85.
Clue number two, overall
construction is solid on most.
Samples.
Producing good smoke, he told
her to look it up and then text.
Him.
Yeah.
She doesn't care about any of
this.
Doesn't mean she wouldn't do the
favor for you, producing good
smoke output and generally even
burn lines.
She even.
Where are you?
The meetings still going on?
Yeah.
They're fighting. 87 I need you
to come up here right now. 87 I
went.
I went first again, by the way.
That's for you.
Almost done, honey.
And we're doing What's the
score?
I can't leave. 85.
Consistency issues, especially
with the second cigar which had
a tight drop, poor air flow and
repeated burn relight problems.
83.
And you just yell and obscenity
from the audience.
Jump low there.
Huh.
I listen to what he says and
then I put my score.
You don't always listen to it.
Not always. 81.
Final thought, talk about a tale
of two cigars.
The first half of the Fratello
1821 Dominican Republic is very,
very good.
It's complex, balanced, lively,
nuanced, and flat out really
enjoyable.
The second-half, well, it's not.
It's a sharp, peppery Chard and
begging for something to
counterbalance the profile.
And that's before taking into
account the combustion issue.
While the first was very good
with its construction, the other
two weren't.
With the second cigar one of the
most uncooperative I have smoked
in some time, I'd love to take
the flavor profile on the first
half and simply extend it well.
Figuring out what made the first
cigar burn so well and replicate
it as the result would seemingly
be a very enjoyable cigar.
Since I can't, I'm left to offer
an evaluation that comes with a
lot of hesitation and
reservation.
Smoke the first half, enjoy the
heck out of it, then be ready to
bail out the second-half in the
burn issues in the flavor turn
as you did on me means they did
on me.
Is this a cigar That's two
different flavors?
Is another one of those.
From I don't think so.
It just changes in the middle
and tastes terrible.
Wow. 7800.
You really wrapped up. 76.
You went the wrong way. 80. 2.
I was on it.
I win.
I'm.
Just going to start putting one
of those out.
Wow, it's really picking up.
OK.
We have pyrotechnics now.
Oh well, I won the.
Only cigar podcast.
No, you said it wrong.
The number one show.
I said we were the only cigar
podcast that with.
Pyrotechnics.
Wow.
Let's just let's just talk about
me winning again.
Potato, Potato.
I said 82 and then I came down.
Unfortunate.
When did you say 82?
8082 I don't.
Know I don't listen to you guys.
No, I say 81.
It's too busy trying to stay
awake.
I get so tired but.
Yeah, Mikey too.
Oh, I was given a picture of you
yesterday asleep during one of
my story reads during
yesterday's show.
I shut head down.
A picture.
Yes.
Not for me.
No, not for me.
I didn't say it was from you.
Well, there's only three people
in this room, I mean.
Not yesterday.
Chat.
Yes.
Wait, he's the only other one
here, and he was right behind
you?
Thanks for not filming me now.
Chet's not allowed in here.
I wouldn't.
Never.
See him dancing around.
Where are you going?
We're still recording.
Dude where?
Are you going give him a kiss?
Give him a kiss.
Yeah, yeah, right on the camera.
Pinch his nipples.
He likes that, yeah.
He likes it, then you have to do
that to leave you.
Have to do it to leave the door
won't unlock unless.
Yeah, he's going to act crazy if
you don't pinch his nipples.
OK.
Well, now Chet's not allowed in
here anymore.
Thanks guys.
It's been an experience.
All right, you're welcome.
All right.
Mailman.
All right, there goes our live
audience.
He's got to go deliver the mail.
The man's a legend.
You.
Look the. 5 lbs heavy room.
Yeah, I know.
Hey, your jewelry store is
closing up there.
I.
See.
Yeah.
I know where, who else you know
where else we all going now?
I.
Think my wife's your niece at
that store.
All right.
OK.
Can we close this out or what?
That's your job?
I was yelling at the audience.
Like and subscribe, we're
reviewing or listening to the
show.
Thank you so much for listening
to us and watching us, and we
hope that we provided great
edutainment.
Ohh Bing bong.
Big bong, Big bong.
