Transcript

Had one at one time but it

broke.

How about that?

But you have time it with

action.

Are we recording?

Did you turn it back on action?

Welcome to Cigar Hustler podcast

episode 539.

I'm Mike Palmer, your host, and

over in engineering today we

have Phil.

My new movie is called Self

Pleasure.

It's all about me. 30 minutes

of. 30 minutes of him in the

pleasure room.

In the filing office.

How much money did it make me?

I don't know.

Has it come out yet?

We don't have any piece of that

business.

This is just your

extracurricular stuff you like

today.

It's been You haven't had a

blockbuster hit, I can tell you

that much.

Yeah, I'm sorry you're not

making big money.

Blockbuster isn't around so.

No, it's they're not rental.

Still the term.

Still the term and my Co host

Mikey, I like to announce my

arrival at the studio.

Stefan Kevitch.

With snoring.

I like to announce my arrival.

Yeah, everybody like I'm on my

way or whatever it is.

You say, yeah, in route, headed

in.

Headed in.

Yeah.

But that's not a that's not a

time, though.

I mean, it's nice to know that

you're coming this way, but it's

not like heading in means 15

minutes.

It usually means 30.

You think you think that he

like.

We can talk that if, if if

that's the time you would like

to assign to it.

It's about 25 to 30.

OK, Well, we'll go with 30 for

now.

On when you say that it'll be

30.

Yeah, All right.

Like I was Mikey, I like to

announce my arrival 30 minutes

before I get to the studio.

Step on Kevin.

Yeah, because he's always doing

stuff.

He's out and about.

I like to give him a heads up.

Well I mean but before 2 seconds

ago it was not assigned a time,

just heading in.

Could be.

Sometimes it was an hour.

Did you ever been an hour?

I don't know, but it sounds like

there's a song that's been

really rubbing him.

Wrong I know.

Look, I got to come up with

something every day.

Sometimes it's hard to find

something.

You could have.

You could have counted on.

Porn movies too.

You get a few porn times, no?

You could you want to know what

you could have said, you could

have said and my Co host Mikey

who had an amazing weekend.

No, that's too nice.

That's not funny.

It is.

It's an inside joke between me

and you.

I don't even know what it was.

You just told me you had one.

Exactly.

You never told me why I didn't.

It's just an average weekend.

But you're like you, I, you

know, you never call and say

anything positive on the

weekends because.

When you call on the weekends, I

mean, something's happened.

That's what you're right.

I mean, it's bad news.

So then I started telling.

Phones ringing one.

What happened now?

Then I started telling you

positive things.

Oh, so you made that up?

You didn't really have one?

No.

Oh, OK.

Well, you're just a guy.

Or my Co house Mikey.

Now my hair is permanently

black.

Yeah, you know.

No, no, you're ginger.

Will it fade away and come back?

Is Ginger back working again?

We haven't sit in one day and

I'll just dub in my key voice.

That would be great.

That would be hilarious.

I didn't have time to do my hair

today.

I bet you you could just AI

replace me with a video of like

AI person.

Well, you were in the thumbnail

as a child.

I saw that that was a terrible

child of me.

Sorry.

It was some funny.

I don't have any.

Photos of you as a child.

Yeah, neither does my mother.

I used the youngest picture I

could have I could find and said

make him a child.

We don't make him this chubby.

We don't know.

We don't know she.

Looks like Jackson.

That photo Jackson looks like

you as a child.

What?

If we get if we can have Ruckus,

please send in the comments a

picture of Mikey.

Ruckus sign check.

Yes, Ruckus, if you could e-mail

the show a picture of Mikey as

Joe, which, well, you probably

don't have any, but picture of

Greg as a child, maybe holding

Mikey or something.

Yeah, we'll just AI it.

We'll.

Just change the head again on

today's show.

Umbrellas can be bad luck.

Remember the Kit Kat bar theft

from Europe?

Yeah, OK.

Serial killers like to take

vacations too.

Speaking of vacations, we have a

travel tip.

Then in cigars we have another

shop exclusive that's not us, a

shipping notification, and then

a What's the score?

A Bing bong.

But before we get started, why

do you He says Bing bong, right?

After I love it.

How do we get some of that

chapter?

Pod swag?

Michael and Phil, where's your

cup?

Phil, where's your cup?

Oh, it's.

Actually on my desk upstairs.

Like and subscribe wherever

viewing or listening to the

show.

Check out chapter pod.com for

all your chapter pod swag.

The pre-orders for the where's

my phone?

Oh, here it is.

Over there in the check.

Probably next to my cup.

Where you were napping.

The the pre-orders for the.

BDP July 4th of July shirt.

Yeah, we got, we got two more

in.

Oh, now we're up to 10.

Mark shout out to Mark Palmer

and our boy Christopher Chad

Weiss.

Chris Chad Weiss this week after

after I Chris, I just wanted to

know after I survived this week,

I'm going to take care of your

hat.

I will then be ready prepared to

address the hat situation.

Then I can mail your hat and

mask.

Yeah, so which I have both.

Of and I'm ready to go today.

Yeah, some of us are busier than

others.

I don't know.

I don't know what's what his

deal is today?

Like, why is he he why he chose

violence?

And he's attacking me.

I don't, I don't get it.

But my tolerance level's going

to be short, and then there's

going to be a rebuttal, and then

I'm the fucking asshole.

I'm going to call the police

'cause there's that old person

in our studio.

I don't.

I don't get it.

I don't get it with my

douchiness.

I don't.

OK.

He's still mad about that.

We didn't even.

Bring that up.

That's.

Just stuck in there I guess.

I thought it was funny.

I find it comical T money.

Yes.

T money comments, comments

comments from the live show T

money.

I feel like money.

I feel like Mikey missed an

opportunity to look at Phil with

his new mug and say jealous.

Just like, 'cause you're in the

pool and you're.

Yeah, exactly.

You're right.

I did miss out on that

opportunity.

I could have capitalized, but I

did not.

I didn't, you know, I just like

trying to keep people around me

happy, man, you know?

I'm happy.

So Phil, I'll get you your own

cup, Palmer, I will get you some

Red Bulls of your liking.

That was from at Rooks Coatings.

See, I've already talked to him.

He when he made that comment, he

comments as he watches right

after we he didn't have a cup.

You gave him your cup, right?

So now he's good with the cup.

OK see this is the problem is

like you guys guilt guilt our

listeners into giving you stuff.

How?

Are we guilty then?

I've still been trying to guilt

the 13 knives guy but yeah,

haven't heard from him.

He's gone.

He just brought it up.

Here we are.

That's blatant right there.

He's still trying to get me one

of those 13 knives.

Yeah, they're beautiful.

Well, he offered to make another

one and I said it wasn't

necessary.

Wow.

Really.

I yeah, I got 1 from 14 knives.

We're all good.

I gave them mine.

I have two.

What?

I gave them mine.

You gave who yours.

I gave the 13 knives to Palmer.

Now I have two and I did that

that really nice post for them

with it.

Yeah.

I'd do nice posts.

You gave me a hard time like I.

Didn't give you a hard.

Time I wear the I wear the same

black shirt every friggin I have

six of these.

I like it.

Like there's no accessories,

there's zero.

I don't.

Is this like the Eric Espinoza

thing?

When you say you like it, he

gives it to you.

Yeah, I really like that black

shirt.

That's nice.

You can have it.

I got five more.

Those are nice jeans, that one.

Did you give him that Jean?

I really like that left shoe.

That's fine.

The left one.

Just the left one.

I don't like the right one.

OK, it looks weird.

I just want to win man, I don't

care about anything else.

We are winning.

Well, you can win naked.

Anybody like his boxers?

At PW racing.

Watch them at PW racing.

I love how the Pillsbury

Doughboy Phil gets all butt hurt

when there is not three of

things.

That's going to stick, Pillsbury

Doughboy.

If the King Master Chief was a

ginger, I would hate to see the

ginger snap.

Yes, yeah, it's true.

You know, I mean like.

I don't like this comment.

You can vent out.

Of it, move along.

Where's mine?

Where's mine?

Bill's word, Doughboy says.

Move along.

You can.

Whatever dude, you got the cup.

Thanks.

Yeah, and the knife.

He got the knife.

I got the knife.

CW6383 says Palmer is now

officially Palmer 2 GS.

I don't get that one.

Nicaragua.

That's clever.

Yeah, it took me a minute to

figure it out.

Yeah, that's good.

Yeah, yeah.

Are.

You Paul, are you pre reading

the comments?

Well, they come up on my phone

too.

Yeah, we share the same account

for YouTube.

Do you guys, do you pre read the

comments Maggie?

Sometimes I 'cause I reply to

them, I try to reply to all.

Yeah, I don't reply normally.

I went back and replied to every

single comment ever to make sure

that there is a reply.

And then I learned that there's

actually a button, there's an

option here and I click it real

quick.

It says new replies to your

response, so you can reply to

your reply when they reply.

And at that point I was like,

I'm not doing all that.

That's too much.

There is a line.

Yeah, Epicurean smokes says.

Glad you don't surround yourself

with idiots.

So what party Party mask is up

next for Bing Bong?

Wow.

The next party mask, I got news

for you.

I think you're going to like it.

It better have big enough

eyelets and nothing around the

mouth.

I think it checks those boxes.

Are we going from the stock that

we have currently?

No.

Oh no.

Well, glad we bought all of

those.

We can always go back to those

later.

OK, well they cost us like 6

bucks you know dude, we, I.

Don't know what mask you're

referring to then.

We have burned way more money on

this show.

Yeah, on masks.

Tripods and.

Masks David Hoffman sending 1.

Oh, yeah.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah.

Please be David Hasselhoff.

He's not doing well, so I'll

picture him in a wheelchair.

Oh yeah.

Oh, that's not.

David Hasselhoff, Not, Oh, not

our Hasselhoff.

OK 'cause then you had me

worried I.

Don't know, David, the the

Baywatch.

They're coming out with a new

Baywatch.

Wheelchair Edition.

I don't care.

No, I don't think he's in it.

I.

Honestly don't care.

If you want to hear your comment

written settle out on the show,

comment below on this episode.

The boom.

The Six O 1 La Bamba 20th

anniversary ready.

Oh, oh, oh.

Die.

Die for it, die for it.

Anything go off.

Is everything still on that?

That I, it went a little right,

You know, the, the disengage was

kind of high, so he had to

stretch out and then he missed

it.

I also have this huge.

Light in your eyes.

Yeah, Sun's over here.

Oh, so what's this?

And we all have them.

Don't.

Don't complain.

So what are you, CD Lamb?

Yeah, his bottled water fell and

that's gone now, but at least it

wasn't in the cup.

Was the lid on it?

Yeah, OK.

I don't have my scale here by

the way, but.

Oh well, we're just it's not a

regular scale day.

Yeah.

It feels like.

It's like Wednesday or

something.

So we have a good topic to

discuss as well on the Patreon.

Oh, I printed that.

Did it come out upstairs?

I don't stare at the printer.

Steve normally tells me.

You know, it feels a little No,

it's not.

This is definitely ways in.

All right, so check out our

Patreon because we're going to

review cigars.

We talked some inside baseball.

There's there's a couple things

going on the industry that we

find intriguing.

We're going to talk about it.

patreon.com, a cigar hustlers

podcast.

What are you doing?

He's checking the weight.

Yeah, he's waving it around.

I see.

Yeah, you can make it bend if

you do like this.

No, you just make it look like a

bend.

That's a pencil.

There is no spoon.

OK, on with the show.

Let's go.

All right, a woman, that's only

at the beginning.

You don't see the director doing

that every time they cut to

another shot.

A woman died after being struck

by a patio umbrella during a

storm at a lakeside South

Carolina restaurant over

Memorial Day weekend.

She was impaled impaled.

Saturday evening at restaurant

along Lake Marion and Somerton

Authority said the woman and her

husband were dining on the

restaurants patio when a sudden

strong wind fell.

Wind noise didn't sound very

strong.

There you go.

Blew an umbrella from a table,

striking the woman in the head

and neck area.

Did you say Lake Marion?

Yes, Marion in Summerton.

He did say lake first.

Yeah, yeah, like in Lake Mary

here.

That's what I that's what I

originally thought.

And then when he said lake.

Mary South Carolina restaurant

over Memorial weekend, maybe?

You definitely didn't say any of

that.

A woman died after being struck

by a petty umbrella during

strong winds at a lakeside South

Carolina restaurant over

Memorial Day weekend.

I didn't say any of that.

No, he said.

A Lake Mary.

Yeah, Saturday evening at a

restaurant along Lake Marion in

Somerton.

South Carolina.

South Carolina, OK.

Head and neck are kind of, the

coroner's office said in a

statement.

First responders found the woman

unresponsive with lacerations to

her head and neck area, and she

was pronounced dead at the

scene, according to the

coroner's office.

The victim is a woman from

Hoogar, South Carolina, the

coroner's office said.

An autopsy is scheduled for

Wednesday at the Medical

University.

Why are they doing autopsy?

She died because she got struck

by the umbrella.

Well, you have to make sure

that's just allegedly.

I mean, yeah, you don't know.

Maybe she had a heart attack,

you know, did she die from the

injuries or was there something

that something else happened?

It's.

For insurance purposes.

Yeah, she she bled out.

Because it's probably going to

be a lawsuit.

Oh yeah, against the umbrellas

or the restaurant.

The everybody.

Everybody.

Well, for both.

Well, the good news is husband,

husband survived.

So there is someone to do the

lawsuit.

Yeah.

Well, you said that she was

impaled, but then you said there

was lacerations around the neck

and where else?

I added impaled.

It didn't actually say impaled,

but she had lacerations on her

neck and head so it blew out.

And how's that that better?

That's interesting.

So was like the rope from the

umbrella.

No, the actual umbrella, so they

didn't have it secured properly

into the base I'm guessing

right.

Big wind comes up and might not

even been the one at her table,

but it was, you know like 3 or 4

tables and then did picked it up

and came right at her.

And what kind of restaurant was

this?

Lakeside Restaurant.

They didn't give the brand name.

No, OK.

Thousand ways a day.

It's not a lake somewhere in

South Carolina.

It's probably not, you know,

like a Chili's or something.

It's.

Probably a little prestigious.

Maybe you're privately owned

type thing?

Yeah.

Chantelle's.

Yeah, Chantelle's on the lake.

Lake, Yeah, Lakeside Grill.

Lakeside Grill.

That would be a good name.

Outdoor patio umbrella at the

Lakeside Grill.

Jennifer Garner's You know, farm

the Fresh Lakeside Grill.

Oh, look at you got all that

correct.

Wow, I didn't know that was the

thing.

OK.

Yeah, she does food and dog

food, I think.

Isn't it dog food?

Yeah, she does all that farm to

fresh stuff.

Farm to fresh all.

Right, I still don't care.

Is that the end of the story?

The end of that story I have.

OK, so have you ever had an

umbrella or anything fly away

and it caused some type of

disaster?

I have had one come out of the

base, but no, no disasters, no

deaths, no nothing destroyed.

I have fetched several at the

beach that other people didn't

secure properly and then they

come rolling by.

Oh, you've chased others down?

Well, they come by, you sort of

grab it.

It wasn't a lot of chasing

involved.

Right.

It was just there.

Yeah, OK.

You're kind of protecting.

Yourself, right?

Exactly.

Especially now that we know you

can die from it.

Yeah, it's dangerous.

What about you, Philly?

Nope.

Nothing.

You've had nothing blow away.

No.

No, you didn't have a trampoline

in the hurricane.

Nope.

Oh, my neighbors trampoline one

time ended up in my backyard.

Kenny Bonnett's trampoline.

Yeah.

Blew.

Over the fence into my backyard.

Did you keep it?

No, I didn't want it.

I.

Would have been like what

trampoline?

You get to see it.

It's a big trampoline.

I don't know what you're

talking.

About I don't even talk about

Kenny.

I haven't seen it.

I don't know what's that?

We bought 1.

It could be anywhere.

I don't know where yours went.

It's for the dogs.

For the dogs, boxers love

trampolines.

Dogs that matter.

It's upside down and I'll fix

that later.

I put the the directions as

we're upside down.

Truck hauling 11,000 lbs of Kit

Kat bars overturns on the

Mississippi Interstate An 18

wheel tractor trailer hauling

approximately 11,000 lbs of Kit

Kat bars overturned on the

Mississippi Interstate on

Monday.

So they had the ones missing in

Europe and now they're just

dumping them all over the

highway.

According to the Mississippi

Department Transportation, the

crash occurred on the entrance

ramp of Exit 56, US 80 exit on

Interstate 20.

Authority said the tractor

carrying the candy bars

disconnected from the cabin

rolled over the westbound lane

of I-20 and West WLBT reported,

which is a local news station.

The right shoulder in the

highway by the entry tramp was

closed for several hours as

crews cleaned up the cargo of

the crunchy candy bars made of

waffles and covered with

chocolate.

No injuries were reported.

It's another bad day for the

kick cat.

Might have been a wind thing.

OK, Were they were they big Kit

Kats were?

They regular size, regular size

Kit Kat.

Are they big?

Oh, the big giant size.

They are regular ones according

to the photo.

Yeah, this is not good for the

Kit Kat world.

Do you eat the kit Kats?

I mean, they're they're still

packaged.

Yeah, I would eat them.

I'd eat them.

Yeah, this is fun for me.

Michael, would you eat them?

No, why not?

You like Kit Kats?

Nope.

No, you don't like Kit Kats, all

right.

Yeah, he does.

I've seen it.

What, you've seen him?

I've seen, I've seen him eat him

too.

Upstairs.

Maybe there's like a highway Kit

Kat.

Well, he likes Subpoena M&M's

more than he likes the Kit Kats.

Yeah, but Greg does usually buy

those because he eats them too

fast.

Yeah.

And a popular resort town from

America 4 American tourists to

Mexico have have a serial killer

on the loose.

Oh, like eating cereal or

cereal?

Like killed people.

Oh, guess the town.

I'm gonna guess Lake Marion, NC.

South Carolina.

South Carolina.

It's in Mexico.

Oh, oh, of course it is Mexico

City then.

We're all the all the serial

killers go on vacation in

Mexico, right?

Did.

They find the news.

Ladies Mom.

It's in Puerto Vallarta.

Sorry, that was probably bad.

Sorry.

Ouch.

Officials said as they probe

connections between the murders

of three women, Puerto Vallarta

police are reviewing evidence,

surveillance footage and reports

to determine whether the deaths

are connected.

All the women who died were in

their early to mid 30s, had

tattoos.

Of what frog?

Nothing in particular, they just

had tattoos.

Tram stamps.

It just says tattoos.

Numbers.

The bodies were partially

undressed and found in isolated

areas, police said.

It's not saying to go anywhere

anymore.

It's Mexico, I mean.

Puerto Vallarta, but that's a

resort area.

In Mexico.

Right, yes, in Mexico.

To me, it's not safe to go

anywhere.

It was just a couple of months

ago where the the cartels were

fighting in Puerto Vallarta.

Right on May 10th, the first

female victim was found near

well known viewpoint Rancho El

Piur PIRULI Paruli.

The second victim was found at a

roadside stop along a highway.

Nearly a week later, the most

recent body was discovered at a

dirt Rd. in the parquet Las

Palmas neighborhood.

Park of the Palms.

Have you ever unaligned anybody,

Palmer?

Not yet.

No, no, yeah, no, you got a

list.

No, I don't have a list.

There's no list.

That'd be so then there'd be

multiple people and you place,

you never write anything down.

That's how they catch you.

It's in your head.

Maybe.

Yeah, who do you?

Who's number one?

I can't say we're on the air

that if something happens to

them, I am the ideal person

they're going to come after.

It's obviously Phil.

I don't think it's Phil.

I'm in the same room, you didn't

want to say.

Makes him nervous is Bing Bong

will not be as as energetic.

So I don't understand the story.

So there's a serial killer on

the loose in Mexico and they.

In Puerto Vallarta, there's a

serial killer killing Americans.

Yeah, women in their mid 30s

with tattoos.

OK, probably single.

And there's been no mention of

their marital status.

But they're there alone.

There's no mention of that

either.

I mean, there's got to be

additional pattern other than

the fact that women with tattoos

are being murdered.

Well, they're American.

They're about the same age and

it has been recently.

It's not like there's months

between them.

Maybe he's religious.

Maybe.

And then he's dumping them in.

I don't understand that.

It's a sin to have a tattoo,

isn't it so?

It's it's only if you're Jewish,

I think.

He's killing tattoo tattooed

women.

Yeah, he's killing mid 30

tattooed women.

Yeah.

Isn't it a sin to kill people?

Yeah, maybe he thinks he's.

He's writing the original.

Wrong second coming or was there

a movie on this?

The second Coming.

Was there like a a like a whole

movie about a church where

there's there was the one guy

who was killing everybody?

God, what was that movie?

I have no idea.

It was like a young pre, a young

monk or something like that.

Yeah, nothing.

I'm not getting anything.

Either, but it does sound like

there would have been a movie

about that though.

Yeah, well, God, what was that

guy's name?

Bruce Lee.

No, he was like he was, he was

like a weird monk.

Like he didn't talk, but he was

white.

He wasn't like an original monk

like he would.

Like he was an Asian, that type

of monk.

No.

You talking about the monk that

wears like the brown robe?

I think I'm yeah, yeah, yeah.

But I think he was Catholic.

I think I'm completely wrong in

describing it.

Oh.

Da.

Vinci Code.

I think it was Da Vinci Code,

yeah, 'cause he was killing

people, right?

I.

Think so?

Yeah.

I don't know.

I'm not quite sure either.

This show's falling way off the

rails now.

Sometimes I get a lot of movies

mixed up with my mind man I I

watch a lot of movies.

Didn't he sing around a sports

car when he was in high school

or something?

Is that grease?

Yeah, I'm just running together

for you.

OK.

No agencies have been confirmed

by local report suggest the

third women could be missing a

22 year old Elizabeth Martinez.

That's under 30.

Her last name is Martinez.

Yes, she's white.

Did you say?

This American, she's.

American.

OK.

Right.

OK.

Tattoos were located on the

neck, hand and arm and consisted

of a skull, a woman with horns

and a name.

Her body showed signs of

violence, Mexico News Daily

reported.

Neck tattoo.

Apparently it's a woman had a

neck that women have neck

tattoos.

OK, it's probably the name on.

Their hand tattoo.

The neck seems more unusual for

a female tattoo.

I think they both sound a little

unusual for.

Miss Martinez.

Hands are becoming more popular

lately.

You think so?

Yeah.

The little tattoos are are more

popular now and they're super

weird all.

Right, let's place the tattoos

real quick.

He gave the description of three

tattoos.

Where do you think they all go?

The only problem is I don't have

the information.

Was it speculating?

Yeah, you said yeah, you said

yeah, Yeah, I know.

That's what I'm saying.

Like we don't have to be, right?

Oh.

The woman.

What are the options?

OK, the tattoos are located on

the neck, hand and somewhere on

the arm, OK, and consisted of a

skull, a woman with horns.

OK, and a name.

OK, skull is on the neck, woman

with horns on the arm, and the

name is on the hand.

I agree with the horns 1.

OK.

But I think the name is on the

neck.

Her last name is Martinez.

Oh, good point.

Yeah, skulls on the hand.

Maybe she has Freddy on the

neck.

Freddy.

Yeah, like the name Freddy

Fredita.

Whatever.

What?

Fredida.

Pesos, Fredida.

What is Fred in Spanish,

Michael?

Fredida.

Fredida.

That's almost as bad as the

French pesos.

OK, so serial killing in Mexico,

they're trying to get you to not

go to Mexico.

Yeah, it's trying to get women

to be careful when they go to

Mexico on vacation.

You should be careful when you

travel period but.

Yes, but if you're a 20 to 30

year old female with a neck,

hand and arm tattoo, maybe be a

little more.

That's not going to stop your

surroundings.

That could be me.

That's not going to stop all the

college girls from going to

Mexico this summer.

Maybe.

Maybe one or two.

It might pull some people back.

You don't know I.

Haven't been to Mexico like

that.

My wife would probably still go

and she has tattoos not on her

neck.

She's out of the age bracket.

Yeah, but she doesn't look that.

She doesn't look in her late

40s, early 50s.

You think she looks like she's

in her late 20s, early 30s?

She get past her 30s.

OK.

Not like he's checking IDs.

Maybe he is let.

Me See your driver's license.

You think that's how he sounds?

Said maybe with a Mexican accent

because it's in Mexico.

I mean, what's the odds there's

an American in Mexico killing

American?

Hey yo, let me see your driver

license up.

Maybe he travels there to do his

murdering and then.

Could be and he goes back home.

He goes to vacation there.

Maybe he goes back to Canada.

Into that, that is possible,

right?

Maybe he's Canadian.

He's like, if I do it out of out

of the US, they're never going

to catch me, right?

In Mexico, maybe it's not

illegal.

I bet you it wouldn't be

difficult.

I think killing is definitely

illegal in Mexico.

Tell the cartel that they seem

to get away with it all the

time.

Allegedly.

Don't come after me.

Still illegal.

I'm very hard to find.

What were you going to say,

Michael?

I don't know.

No, I have no idea.

All right, we're coming into the

travel season, so we have the

latest info.

Travel to Mexico where there's

great deals.

Yeah, discounts on travel to

Mexico Airlines are tiny.

Restrictions on portable

chargers after rise and on board

battery fires.

Really.

Do you guys use one of those

portable chargers?

All the time, yes.

Where it hooks on the back?

Yep, mine gets hot.

Oh yeah, yeah, I use the brick I

got like this big brick.

Yeah, Do you plug into it or

does it snap?

You plug into it, Yeah.

I think they're talking about

the ones that hook onto the back

of your phones.

Those are the ones that get hot.

Phoneses.

Phoneses.

OK, so here's what you need to

know before you fly.

Power banks have become a travel

essential for many passengers.

Specialist travelers rely more

heavily on phones, tablets and

laptops while flying, but

airlines are increasingly

concerned about the fire risk

posed by lithium ion batteries.

As of May, we're in May.

American Airlines says

passengers can bring up to two

power banks under 100 Watt

hours.

Do you know what years it's

rated at?

1000 mAh or something like that.

Oh, AMA or some of the mAh.

OK, we have a math formula here

in a minute where if you have

that reading you can tell what

it is.

OK.

A limited generally covers most

portable chargers designed for

travel.

Southwest Airlines recently went

further, limiting passengers to

1.

You can only have one on South.

Why do you need two bank

charging banks?

So it doesn't how to plug in my

phone.

Well, maybe you're travelling as

a pair.

Well then, one person for one.

Well, that's what you'll have to

do.

But you.

Know what I mean?

Like this is this is kind of

crazy.

Yeah.

That they have so many power

banks.

I'm sure people have like 3.

Or 4 I'd like.

Do you charge your phone

tonight?

First of all, you're pretty

responsible.

Yeah, I plug my phone in

everyday.

You charge your phone tonight.

Yep.

Does your kid charge his phone

at night?

Yes, he does.

And your kids are older.

I'm sure they.

Yeah, I.

Don't know if they do or not.

I mean, do you ever, do you ever

get on the phone with Connor and

you're like your phone?

Oh, I'm sorry, Dad.

My phone died.

No, but by the end of the day

though, I mean mine goes down a

lot during the day because I'm

on it all the time.

Yeah, Jax's phone is always

never charging.

Oh, he doesn't.

Put it on.

Never, never, never.

Adrian forgets sometimes and

I'll find it in another room or

something as I'm going to bed

and I'll bring it in and.

Here's a nice paperweight.

And then we have the app that

lets me know it's like.

Oh, there's an app that tells

you if it's charging it.

Yeah, his, his phone is now at

10% and every day I get that

notification and like I saw, I

even saw it today.

I saw it today before we left

and I and it's just sitting

there close to his bed not

plugged in to anything.

The plug is like next to it.

Yeah, exactly.

Here.

The plug's there.

Exactly.

Wow, that's almost dead.

Look at that.

I'm.

Like what are we doing?

This shit drives me nuts.

Well, he does it on purpose.

For no he.

Doesn't.

Yeah, He likes you to be very

sleepless and you're looking for

his phone all the time because

it's always dead.

It drives me up a wall.

Yeah, if it's sitting right next

to it.

Dude, when Justice gets his

phone, that thing's never going

to be charged.

Forget it.

You're going to go the other

way?

Yeah.

It's like he's never going to

unplug it from the wall.

No, no, it's it'll never be

charged.

The other way.

Yeah, he's he's worse.

Oh.

Geez, yeah, at least Jax keeps

that 10%.

A solid 10%.

Right, 10%.

Oh my phone's not charging.

Like, have you considered

plugging it in?

What?

There's a plug?

Yeah.

Oh, is this because he asks you

for the brick all the time?

He steals the brick.

Yeah, all the time.

And then the brick is dead.

And then the brick's dead.

Yeah, or I can't find the brick.

I'm like, hey, where's the

where's the charging station?

Oh, I don't know.

What do you mean you don't know?

It died.

I got rid of it.

Adrian had started using my

brick, let's just call it to to

charge her phone at the end of

the day.

So I after two days of that I

got her her own and now she

doesn't charge the brake.

Right, right.

You got to charge the.

Brake.

I got to charge.

I got to find the brake and plug

it.

In Yeah, right.

This is insanity.

Right.

Like honey, this isn't going to

work if you don't charge it.

Oh, I thought I got more than

one charge out of it.

I go.

I don't know.

It depends on how low your phone

was.

We had two bricks.

There was a point where we had

to I wouldn't, God only knows

what having the other one.

Teddy's got it, just in case she

gets her phone.

Teddy has her own problems.

All right.

Both airlines also say power

bank should be should not be

stored in overhead bends.

Passengers using them during

flights are expected to keep

them visible and within reach,

rather than tucked away inside a

bag.

The changes come amid a growing

number of battery fires on

planes.

Federal Aviation Administration

data shows that there had been

more than how many, how many

lithium battery incidents

involving smoke, fire, extreme

heat, gentleman that since 2006.

It's a long time.

Yeah, 20 years.

I didn't know batteries been

around for 20 years.

I mean, I haven't seen a lot on

the news.

I would think we would see this

on the news every time it

happened.

So pick the number.

Let's go 20.

I'm going to say 500.

Well, very close 700.

Really.

Yes, I think how many flights

occur in the US every day I.

Have no clue.

I think after a while, unless

the plane actually catches on

fire, they just stop reporting

it.

Yeah.

Really.

How many flights occur in the US

every day?

Yeah, you know, Oh, do you want

to use GBT because we lied to

you about AI?

Yes, I do.

Thank you, iPhone.

There are approximately 44,360

flights daily, encompassing

commercial cargo and general

aviation operations.

Well, that's not a lot.

This figuring.

I'll talk about fires.

Yeah, so you know it doesn't

make news until there's a

restriction, right?

And like, what does a fire look

like?

Well, it has flames.

Kind of orange, what's the

extent of this?

I think generally I think it's

more smoke and heat, Yeah,

'cause they, you know, they, you

know, right?

They catch it first and then you

just unplug it.

Yeah, just detach it.

If a fire occurs in a flight, do

the mass drop down?

I don't think automatically, no

'cause that's a oxygen level

thing.

How many lithium ion fires have

occurred by airliner since 2006?

Tell me each airline.

I want to know who the number

one is.

Spirit.

That's why they went out of

business.

Spirit AirTran Southwest.

It didn't give me the right

info.

Kind of awkwardly asked.

It was.

It was.

Yeah, it was like, oh, airliner.

Alright so help me refine this

so I can do this right.

You jig to the left at the last.

What is the what is the highest

or what is the airline that has

the most lithium fires?

OK, tell me what airliner has

reported the most battery fires

in the United States?

You want me to use chat GPG for

this?

I do.

I'm unable to provide that data.

Oh doesn't want a lawsuit?

They're not publicly disclosed,

however OK need anything else

feel free to OK thanks Chad.

How is how is it you are the

team who of AI this?

Is not publicly disclosed that

they have the 700 number.

It's so it's obviously reported,

yeah.

Are you looking this up, Palmer?

Yeah, but my glasses.

Trying to spell airliner.

No, your glasses are in right

right here.

Oh.

There isn't a reliable public

ranking showing which individual

airline has had the most battery

related fires.

Most aviation safety data is

tracked by regulators like the

FAA as industry wide incidents,

not airline leader boards.

Airlines also vary widely and

how transparent the their

reporting.

Events.

Oh, they're they, they're a

little blurry.

They might not tell I'm.

Going to tell you, I think that

like Frontier is probably #1

Spirit was probably up there.

Yeah.

You know, yeah, I could see

Southwest being in in that, in

that argument.

That's why they're like when you

get 1 you know?

Yeah, they've had problems.

Could be, as could be Southwest

because they are the first

airline to regulate batteries.

Right.

So either they decide to get

ahead of it and go like this is

going to become a problem, we

got to fed the rule, or like

we're tired of these fires on

these airplanes, let's say they

can't have them so.

What can the airliner do

differently to avoid these

problems?

What charges on the in the

seats?

Wouldn't that be great, that.

Would be great.

I mean, there's only two types

of charges everybody uses for

the most part, right?

The seaport and the maybe 3.

Lightning cable in the one for

the Samsung, Yeah.

Yadda yadda, Southwest isn't

doing that.

They're not putting.

Wire you have like the little

like like retracts like.

How fast?

How fast till that breaks?

Yeah, I wouldn't put the cord

in.

I just put the Jack on.

And then and I would offer a

cord like the headphones, you

know how they used to give you

headphones.

Oh yeah, yeah.

Do you need a need a charger?

I would love a charge.

That'll be $5.

No, it just build it into the

charger.

Just build it in.

Oh, so they give it out free?

Yeah, I don't need one.

I'd like a discount.

No, that's not how that works.

You get 2 ginger ale's.

You can have the whole can if

you don't take the cord.

We're just going to give you the

can.

Just give you the.

Can all right.

This fell off the rails too.

OK, next one.

There's international rules that

are a little different.

OK.

Sorry.

Oh, you want to know the?

Well, you don't want the math

thing either then.

Tell me the math.

Yeah, go ahead.

All right, travelers can still

calculate manually using formula

based on milliamp hours, is that

what you're saying?

Yeah.

All right.

The mAh and voltage to calculate

Watt hours.

Watt hours, WATT&WHAT, Multiply

the milliamp hours by the

voltage, which is commonly 3.7.

Then divide that number by 1000.

So I have 3.7 hours, multiply by

1000, then then divide by 1000.

Multiply the milliamp ratings by

the voltage, which is commonly

3.7 volts.

Right, but I'm 1000 milliamps or

whatever.

Then I got to divide by 1000

they cancel out 3.7 hours.

That's.

Not what we're trying to find

out.

That is what we're trying to

find out is calculate.

The oh, the Watt hours, Yeah.

So it's too much.

Oh, yours is too high.

Yeah, you good?

Yeah, I'm just trying to text

and then I'm podcasting.

As they're calling.

Right, they just.

Keep calling you got a video

today, Michael?

No.

Oh, you said you had one

yesterday.

I lied, all right?

I lied.

They're on the cigar News

Triumph Cigars, releasing Legati

milk in June.

Legati Milk.

In June, Triumph Cigars, which

is best known for producing

cigars for the UFC in combat

sport athletes, has announced

its newest upcoming release,

Legati Milk.

In June.

And doesn't say June now.

Isn't this the company that they

released their own cigars and

they sell them directly to

consumers, but they don't?

Yeah, I think, yeah.

Trying.

Yeah, I believe so.

OK.

The cigar is named for Legati,

who competes in Misfit Boxing.

Anybody in there?

What that is I have.

No idea any of that.

Yeah, some.

The company says the name is a

play on the famous Got Milk

campaign, and because milk is

said to make you strong, it's

described as a medium to full

body blend using the Ecuadorian

Connecticut seed wrapper, Havana

binder of undisclosed origin and

a Dominican filler.

The blend was designed with

Gotti and the profile of cigars

she likes in mind.

Oh, she.

She Leia.

Maybe it's Leia, then, that Lee.

The cigars are produced at

Tablicalera Cremo in Puerto

Plata, Dominican Republic.

Leia Gotti Milk is a regular

production release slated to

land and store shelves in June.

It's offered in a six 5:50 to

2:00 Toro and will come with an

MSRP of.

Phil Bell.

To Toro, this lady likes milk.

18 bucks.

More Money $25. $13 per cigar,

$260.00 for a box of 20 TRAM

cigars.

Launched December 2025 and is

created about 15 cigars for USC

in combat sport athletes.

Well I mean it's kind of weird

that they made it for Misfit

Boxing because June is the MMA

event, right?

UUCF or UFCUFCS are at.

The White House anniversary,

right?

They've started building that.

The pictures, I mean, it's huge.

It's gotta be.

Yeah, Yeah, this is the biggest,

yeah.

Event ever The greatest.

Yeah, the largest.

It's the nicest the.

Best the beautifulest?

Yes, it's the most beautiful.

The most people.

It's the biggest.

Most fighters.

And still the biggest.

It's orange.

And big.

Not orange.

Bigger.

Yeah, Orange and orange.

Little tiny guy.

Did you ever carry it here?

Maybe.

Yeah.

The Blue Eyed Jacks Revenge

Short Robusto captures

the blend while offering a

unique format.

Created specifically for this

release, The new size will debut

on Saturday, June 6th with in

store sales beginning at 3:00 PM

Central Time and online sales

beginning at 5:00 PM.

So strange that they got a time.

Well, they're trying to do like

a release party, I guess,

probably online, you know, that

brand has particular demand, so.

Oh, and it's Central Central

time, so don't don't get excited

at 3:00 Eastern Time.

Yeah, I mean that that makes

sense because people are asking

when is it coming out, When is

it coming out?

I can see picking a time.

Blue Eyed Jacks Revenge debuted

in 2024 as a reply to the

company's.

Barboa's Invasion is offered in

three regular production sizes.

Blahdy blahdy, blahdy blah.

All right, 7 industry's favorite

game What's the?

Score OH.

I thought you're throwing

something.

No, you, you pissed me off, but

I'm not going to throw something

at you.

Not.

Not on camera.

Not on camera.

OK, first you got our May 20.

When have I thrown something at

you that hurt you?

Well, you haven't, but doesn't.

I mean, I saw you reach for

something and then I'm reading

and the core may I see you

cocked back like you're going to

throw it but talking back to aim

the remote.

This is the same thing that we

talk about.

This is we talked about this on

the last episode.

This is a lot of attention right

now.

We we talked about this before,

you know, I need the three

seconds so I can hit the button.

I'm going to, you know what, I'm

just going to launch something

at Palmer.

Well, I didn't know what that

what you had picked up off the

table.

It could be anything.

I just saw it out of the corner

of my eye.

We know it wasn't the scale.

Why don't you wiggle it in your

fingers more?

Yeah, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.

May 26th, 2026 Brooks

Whittington's a reviewer is the

VI Hey chef's cut tall?

This is new.

This is new Oh.

Man 89 it's.

The VI is a hit or miss.

Yeah.

And we haven't smoked this

because we haven't.

Seen No.

Nope, I'm gonna go with 85

first.

All right, cigars.

The via a chef's cut tall.

It is from Nicaragua factory.

Undisclosed wrapper, undisclosed

binder, undisclosed filler

undisclosed length 6 by 52.

It's around and they smoked 3.

8087.

I'll go to 86.

This is Nicaraguan.

The cigar delivered some really

enjoyable transitions with notes

like caramel sauce, cinnamon,

toasted bread, and creamy

nuttiness.

They kept the profile

interesting throughout. 89. 86.

Clue #2 construction was

consistently strong across all

three samples, with excellent

draw, dense smoke production,

and only minor burn corrections

needed. 89.

Sounds like a good cigar 87.

The experience felt inconsistent

between cigars, with the third

sample noticeably outperforming

the first two in flavor

complexity and overall

enjoyment. 87. 87 my number.

Is that where you're at?

Yeah, it's OK.

I thought you're at 86.

No.

Was that 86?

Yeah.

Yeah, I think you did 86.

Oh, you can do 7.

Now if you want.

Yeah, you know what?

Let's keep it neck and neck 87.

All right, final thought, the

Via Hey Chef's Cut Tall is a

tale of two profiles.

The 1st and 2nd cigars were

enjoyable, but they lack the

complexity and cohesiveness of

the third.

Unfortunately, the construction

was as far from a high point, as

multiple burn corrections for

each cigar definitely impacted

the final score.

At its best, the Chef's Cut Tall

is an enjoyable blend that

compares well with some of

Yahoo's better releases, but two

of the three cigars lack the

flavours and nuance that would

place it in the upper tier of

the company's portfolio. 85. 83.

You went the wrong way 87.

Oh wow, I went.

One last.

Those sparks look a little dark

today.

They did look rather thick,

didn't.

It it was burning my head.

Oh, he's on fire.

Stop, grab and roll.

He has a lithium battery on his

head.

Pour the drink on your hair.

Oh, then all the colour will

wash out of your red again.

Yeah, yeah, I'm going to be back

to Ginger back.

To Ginger.

But I'll always have my

douchiness.

All right, that's it.

That's all I got.
