ACHP Episode 543 Cigars, DNA Files, Fish Out and President Out

ACHP Episode 543 Cigars, DNA Files, Fish Out and President Out

Episode Summary

Episode 543 of A Cigar Hustler's Podcast has Mike Palmer, Mike Szczepankevich and Phil McGuffey running through the usual mix of listener comments, news oddities and cigar industry business. The crew opens with mail-bag banter (including a Boveda "Crispr" joke), a giveaway of a carbon fiber cutter and lighter set, and a tangent about which U.S. presidents belong on currency. From there it's an Army veteran's claim that the CIA's remote viewing/Stargate program mined 23andMe and Ancestry.com data looking for extraterrestrial DNA, reports that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian wants to resign because he's been cut out of decision-making, a Flagler County man arrested outside a Taco Bell with multiple pairs of pants down and a live betta fish in his backpack, and Daphne Joy's statement about the leaked video involving Sean "Diddy" Combs.

The cigar content starts with a clip of STG's Justin Andrews — the man behind Diesel's blends — saying "nobody's going to outwork me," which the hosts gleefully pick apart while trying to figure out what his athletic background (probably baseball) actually was, and recalling how he courted Matt Booth for Scandinavian Tobacco Group. In industry news, Belgium has reversed course on its plain packaging rules: the Federal Public Service Health has clarified that a cigar or cigarillo band is not a prohibited element because it's an integral part of the product, meaning cigar companies can keep using existing packaging in one of Europe's toughest anti-tobacco markets.

Espinosa's two big 2026 PCA releases are now hitting shelves. The 601 Blue 20th Anniversary is a limited edition celebrating two decades of the 601 Blue line, using a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, rolled at the San Lotano factory in a 6 3/4 x 56 oval Gran Toro. The 601 La Bamba Warhead 12 is a 6 1/8 x 58 figurado with an all-Nicaraguan blend and a broadleaf binder, also from San Lotano, with an initial run of 5,000 boxes of 10. The hosts then share favorite Espinosa smokes — the Crema, Knuckle Sandwich Connecticut, Laranja, Murciélago (including the box-pressed Rabioso) and Intemperance EC.

The show closes with "What's the Score," pulling a March 2018 halfwheel review by Patrick Lagreid of the FQ Proper Corona Gorda from Nicaragua — Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, Honduran binder, Connecticut broadleaf and Honduran filler, rolled at NACSA. Guesses of 88, 89 and a late move to 90 meet a final score of 91, and Palmer takes the round.

On today's show, we have the government looking for a special 23andMe. The Iranian president wants out. I'm done. I'm done.

I am finished. Over in Flagler County, a man gets caught with his fish out in public. Diddy lets a good woman go. Uh-oh.

And then in cigars, the waffle capital of the world eases up on the rules with cigars. Our friends at Espinosa release some new cigars. And a once-score game from the Wayback Machine. Oh, boy.

H. Ponce swag? I just wanted to know, I nailed both of them yesterday, on what the score. Well, that's because you were playing, right?

No. No. He's a worthy competitor. I don't know, he tries to play like he's playing poker.

" Then I looked at Palmer, and he had to pee, so I figured that was the right number. It's better than "Charlie's great and he gives high reviews to everybody". I guess you got a point. Yeah, but mine's real.

You know, Palmer having to pee doesn't mean that it's going to be a 92. I always have to pee, to be fair. I have to pee right now because we talked about peeing. Right.

Like and subscribe wherever you're viewing or listening to this show. com for all our CHPod swag. We need four, four more BDP pre-order sales. Oh, it has been shipped.

It has been shipped. The overalls. The overalls. The overalls.

And they'll wear overalls. So, I know a couple of you guys are a little twisted, and you want to see that, so... Shorties, the shorts, too. Let's get the four.

Let's get four more. They're shorties. Oh, you're gonna show the bottom? No, I mean, maybe in the B-roll.

His hairy balls are gonna hang out. Ugh. They're not hairy. Droopy old balls.

Maybe it's a five-year plan. I used to be sponsored by Manscaped. Oh, you still have that? I still have it.

com, A Cigar Hustlers Podcast, where if you pay for the entire year, you get 10% off for the full year, something. Do it. Oh, we should have a new listener, but I didn't check this point. Oh, we should, but we don't.

A new listener that paid for the whole year? I don't know if they pay for the whole year or not. Oh. A couple comments.

Thought we had another Apex. And another Apex. Mmm. There's only one Apex.

Mmm. And his name is Ken. Okay. A couple comments today.

Let's see here. There's no goodies. There were some goodies. Let me give you some newest, responded and unresponded.

Okay. @DavidHasselhoff. Oh, I like this guy. David Hasselhoff Hoffman, you're not going to like him tomorrow.

You're not going to like them tomorrow. Just imagine the Boveda marketing team is trying to figure out a name for its refrigerator humidification packs. The best they could come up with was something that rhymed with CRISPR. Kipper, CRISPR.

Oh, man, that's where they got the idea. Yeah. They obviously didn't use AI at all for that. Or they did, but they didn't have the pay feature.

Ah, they didn't, yeah, they didn't use tokens. We need something that we can use to put with vegetables in a CRISPR. Oh, Skipper. Oh.

Oh, look at that. Yeah. Great idea. We've only paid.

At Rooks Coding says, "My wife is over here agreeing with you, Mike, about the kids while out eating. " Yeah, it's maddening, bro. It's maddening. Maddening.

You know, you try and figure this out, you try and navigate through this, and it doesn't matter. They're good at making sure that your day doesn't end up well. You know what I mean? Yep.

I remember. " Oh, I thought you were gonna smash it. No. I thought that was where he was going to.

No. So I hit him with it. We weren't at that level. No, I don't think he'd hit him, I think he'd smash it though.

We weren't at that level. But within five minutes the remote was found. Oh. It was a Christmas miracle.

So he didn't know where it was. It was right where it was. There was a stichiation. Yeah.

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Let's see.

T-Money, we've talked about the previous episode. Let me skip that one. I can't wait to get to this one. This one made me, dude, I legit laughed out loud when I read this one.

Ruckus Unchained. Yes. Oh, your mom. I like seeing my boys on the show together.

Ah, Mikey's mom. oh thanks sharon that's very nice that was amazing you know that's that's the way to handle it ruckus right just lean into it you know what i mean go with it good for you talk about their bedwetting issues whatever you can come up with yes francis leto 6035 says so the bovada pack membrane is not what controls humidity but the salt i always assumed the packet membrane was a The reverse osmosis membrane that controlled the humidity, not the salt. Also, does Triple G have a safe word for when he needs to be taken to a battered man's shelter? He does not have a safe word.

Greg doesn't like to be safe. He was talking about the abuse he gets from his wife. Yeah. She steals his food.

She steals his food. Oh, that's why he's so skinny. Yeah. Yeah.

Exactly. Apparently she needs to steal more. At Brett Mercurio says, Triple G was right. S.

currency. Stay tuned. Hmm. Do we, how do we feel about that?

Do we care? Like, do you care? I don't care if he's on money. What difference does that make?

Like, who cares? Yeah. He's been president twice. Let him be on some money.

Like, whatever. He had a war, everything. He had several wars. Yeah, he's in a bunch of wars and stuff.

A lot of scandals. What deems that's true? Who else do you think belongs on a on a bill? Is there a president that stands out for you that you're like this guy belongs on a bill?

Let's go one step further. Is there a president on a bill that's been there long enough now we need to rotate somebody newer? Let's go one step further. Why are you answering a question with the question and answer the original question?

Well, before I answer that question, let me ask you this. No. Is there a president that you think that should be on a bill? Palmer?

I'm thinking of the president's in deciding. Okay. One pops to my head instantly, for whatever reason. What about you, Phil?

I've got one! I've got one! Okay, Palmer, Palmer. John F.

Kennedy. That's who I thought. Yeah, because he was killed. That was an instant guy that came to my mind.

Yeah, let's make a law. If you get killed in office, you get to be on money. So then we always remember you. Was that like an award?

More like a consolation prize. Commemorative? What about you, Phil? Maybe a coin.

Put them on a coin. I mean, I did think of JFK, but that was the second thought. The first one was Bill Clinton, just cause his first name's Bill. Oh.

Just because his first name is Bill. Should be on the $20 bill. Should be on the bill. He should be on the $20.

Is somebody on the $20 already? Isn't like the $20, like the money shot? I mean, he should definitely be on that. Who's on the $20?

It's not Jefferson, is it? No. No, Jefferson's not on money. It's not Frank.

No. He's on the good one. Franklin, you mean? Yeah.

Franklin Roosevelt? Is he on money? Who's on the $20? Franklin.

Who's on the 20? Hamilton? No. No, I don't know.

Jackson! Yes. Jackson, yeah. Yes.

I had to remember like a Jim Carrey then. You got there. Started to worry. Ben Franklin's not on money, is he?

He's on the hundo. Yeah, he's on the hundo. Oh, is he? Is he a president?

No. No, but he's on the real one. That's why I was confused. So, you don't have to be a president to be on the money.

I guess not. Susan B. Anthony has a coin. He is a dollar.

Yeah. Well, there's no coin anymore. They're still out there. Oh, yeah, in circulation, I guess.

Okay. Oh, wait, Kennedy's on a 50 cent piece. Yeah. But I want him on like a bill.

I don't think you get both. Why not? There's a rule. We are the rule makers.

Abe's on both, right? Abe. Abe is on both. He is on both.

Okay, you can be on both then, apparently. Washington. What coin is he on? 25 cents.

" Comment below if you want to hear your comment read aloud on the show, and also if you're going to comment below within this week... Ooh, carbon fiber! You're going to be entered to win this. Straight from Mikey's car.

No, that was from my drawer, my desk. his drawer nice little cutter lighter sets carbon fiber Mikey Palmer compliments of a company that puts just random letters together and made it a company which is the going thing on Amazon it's got a new pooper scooper yeah and it's from like Tupigo or something so Tupigo they make all the good poopers yeah it looked solid it clipped together pretty well very excited for you yeah You've got to scoop the poop, it's important. I just put on a rubber glove. Really?

That's kind of weird. Why? Yeah. Why is that weird?

I'm still not touching it. I had a farm, I used to pick up bigger poop than that. Your old McDonald? No.

Not old McDonald. But they poop on your grass, right? Who did? Your dogs.

You let them out back. Oh, the dogs, yeah, they go out back. Where do your dogs poop, in the air? In the air, yeah.

Oh, wow. I have a little turf area for them. Oh. It's great.

How is that different than a yard? It's so much easier to clean up. It's got a fake grass. And then I bleach it.

Yeah. It's awesome. Why don't you just hose it off? That's what he just said.

Well, then why does he need the pooper scooper? I clean it all up, I dump it, I throw it all away, and I bleach it. Oh, he doesn't have like a drain, if that's what you're asking, Palmer. Yeah.

You want to just dig a French drain and put it in. Oh, no. Sorry. I'm not at that level.

Oh. If you only had a brother who did stuff. - When you have him do stuff, he usually requires a tremendous amount of time in order to get that stuff done, right? - Yeah.

- Sure. And I can't make that a focal point. Oh. You know?

He went kind of quick on the stuff over there. I was super shocked at that. Yeah. Whip that together, lickety split.

Well, he likes Preston. He likes Preston. Yeah, everybody likes Preston. Yeah, he wants to impress Preston.

Right. He's like a new guy. He's got to make sure he likes me better than Mikey. Right.

Exactly. " Yeah. Little does he know, I'm going to take full credit for that. Completely did that myself.

Yeah, yeah. In between everything else. Yeah. A little bit of free time I had.

Yeah. Whipped that up instead of sleeping. Yeah. Put it together for you.

Right. During the wedding reception, I had a little bit of free time. Right. Just snapped that together.

There you go. Nobody was looking for me. Okay. Well, on with the show, I guess.

All right. Now the news. One of the strangest claims making the rounds online right now comes from an Army veteran who says he participated in the CIA's remote viewing program. Uh-oh.

com claims the goal was identifying individuals carrying what he described as extraterrestrial, extraterrestrial, alien DNA, extraterrestrial, alien, we're going with alien, to see if they've been mating with humans. Oh. A government official that did this? com genetic information and look for alien DNA.

Now, I'm not sure how they know what it looks like. I guess it's something that doesn't appear to be human? Is this the same guy that built the dolphin city? No, no, completely the same guy.

This is an Army Veteran. That guy was some crazy man. Oh. Completely different.

Yeah, two totally different things. Yeah, one's military. Yeah. What makes the story interesting is that the documented pieces of history with extraordinary modern claim.

So there is actually a CIA organization that had that name, but they were more concerned with things you could do with your mind. Like you could move things or track people or ESP, right. Yeah, they did this, and things moved, or they did magic tricks. These are not the droids you're looking for.

Professor X. Yeah, right, like Professor X, with the wheelchair. The CIA's remote viewing efforts often associate with the Cold War era Stargate program as well as documented and been publicly acknowledged. However, these programs never produced evidence accepted by mainstream science as proof of psychic ability.

Oh, okay. So, did he find anything? Did he find anything? Well, he's not saying, he's just saying he was part of the group that did that.

Don't you think that he would have more credibility if he said, "and we found"? You would think, yeah, that would be part of the story, wouldn't you? Yeah. Right.

No, they're more concerned with letting you know that there was a CIA organization. Right. But it's just not, alien DNA is not any of the documented studies they produced. Did they all wear black suits?

No, I think white. Did they have the little stick that would remove your mind? Well, I don't know because if they did we wouldn't remember because it would have removed our minds. Was Will Smith involved?

No. He's wishing he had one so everybody would forget he slapped, what's his name? Oh yeah? Who'd he slap?

The guy at the Oscars. Yeah, what's his name? I don't know. Chris Rock.

Okay. Apparently it didn't work on me. Yeah, I guess it didn't. What about you, Boots?

Do you think that the extraterrestrials? Phil! Phil! That's Phil.

What about you, Phil? Do you think that the extraterrestrials have been mating with human people? No. No?

I don't think they're on this earth. You don't think there's aliens on this earth? And you don't think that they're procreating with the natives? No.

No. Let's say they had. Let's say they had. For the sake of argument, they had.

Yeah, let's say they had. com? I'm an alien, I'm hiding, maybe I shouldn't spit in the stick. - But they don't, you know, this is their spawn, they don't tell their spawn that they're aliens.

- Well, you might go, listen, Billy, that's all fake, you don't want to do that. - I just want you to know I'm an alien. - No, leave that part out, but you convince him not to do it so that they don't find out you're an alien. It seems like a bit much.

You know kids these days, they don't listen to their parents, even if they're extraterrestrials. If they're parents an alien, then you might listen to them. No, no, no. What about you, Phil?

Alien from outer space, not alien from Mexico. Completely different thing. Yeah. Phil, you're giving me nothing here.

I want to hear about-- You know what's really funny about this situation is like the whole 23 and me, we completely trust these people in a lab, right, to send back a piece of paper that is certifying Yeah. That whatever we sent in is A, B, or C, right? Right. Is either alien or is not alien or whatever.

Like, what if there's a crazy in that lab that's like, you know what? I want everybody to think there's aliens. And they just put on all the paperwork that everybody's an alien. I don't think they put on the paperwork, you're from Mars.

He's right. I believe him. There could be a crazy in there. Well, there could be a crazy in there.

It's crazy everywhere. I don't think when you send it in, it comes back with, you know, 3% Mars, 4% Native American, 75% European National, I don't think an alien is on the list anyway. 25% Saturn. Right, right, who knows?

Yeah. I like it. Or there's just a question mark next to the percentage. Yeah.

Right, unidentified. Uh-oh, unidentified. Just send this to the veteran and let him take a look. Yeah, he's experienced.

Have you guys ever done that and had it come back with your DNA and tell you where you're from or anything? I have not. I used to want to, but I don't really care anymore now. My wife did.

Oh, your wife did? Yeah. You sent yours in? No.

Oh, that would be funny. Mm-hmm. Michael, Michael, I need your toothbrush. She sent the kids in to confirm they were hers.

Did she really? No. That would be funny. How does that work, buddy?

I understand that. That's why I thought it was funny. Oh, my God. Oh, my goodness.

That's why I thought it was funny. Walk that back, pal. Walk that back. Did she really?

No. That's why I thought it was funny. They were in her belly. Well, maybe the aliens put them there.

And then she burnt them. Glad it wasn't me today. Don't worry. The day is still around.

I'm sorry, the day is still early. We're 17 minutes in, pal. Plenty of time is this the first story. This show is counting on you.

Well, you're one up, homer. I like that you almost... One nothing. I like that you almost messed up who was on the 20.

I can't remember, man. And then you redeemed yourself. Yeah. Okay, carry on.

Did she do it and have it come back with her genetic whatever? Yeah. Oh. Is it expensive?

I don't know. It was a few years ago. A couple hundred. Oh, yeah, that's another reason I'd do it.

Did it come back with information she found pleasing? Or was she like, "Oh, I didn't realize I was African-American," or whatever's on there? I would have loved that. Yeah, get a check.

I'd have marked it in every application. Oh, that's right. For my kids. Oh, for your kids, right.

Well, it depends on what. I would have changed their name. Yeah. The last name?

No. Because that's a hard one to swallow. I would have changed their first names. I'd like to hear the names.

They would have been highly desirable on any athletic team at that point. Are you going to have like a Jamal? Exactly. Jamal.

Exactly. LeBron. They have to have a hyphenated last name. I mean, well, you look at Jackson, like, eh.

You know what I mean? Right. Justice. Well, you can say, like, Jackson, Stepon Kevich, hyphen Williams.

Hyphen Williams? Yeah. Throw that in there. Sorry, I'm writing my name down, I need another piece of paper.

Right. I'm only at the hyphen. Can you imagine adding an additional last name to my last name? No.

You know, they could have it to Teddy. Dude, Teddy gets upset. She's like, "I'm not writing this. " All right.

Let's put an S. Can she spell it? Yeah. Oh, good for her.

Yeah, of course she can. I mean, of course she can. She's part Furian, bro. She's crazy.

All right. Okay, all right, moving on. Moving on. All right.

Iran may be facing growing turmoil after reports surfaced that President Musad, his last name's like yours, Prezishkin. Prezishkin? Prezishkin. Prezishkin.

Prezishkin. In other words. He's asked to resign. They want him to step down.

No, no. He wants to step down. I don't want to do this. I'm done.

I'm done. The beepers keep coming to my office. I am finished. He's putting his resignation.

According to multiple reports, Przishkin told officials connected to the Iranian Supreme Leader that he no longer has the authority needed to effective govern and his administration has been shut off from major decision making processes. They're not telling him anything anymore. He's no longer in charge. He's no longer in charge.

The Ayatollah. It's like the Sopranos. He's the lightning rod. And he's like, I'm just a target now.

I don't want to be a part of this. Right. They keep bringing me beepers and boxes and things, and I'm not touching anything. They keep texting my location to the CIA.

I get all these invitations for meetings. I'm not going to. I'm not going to these meetings. This is ridiculous.

Okay, so continue. The timing is especially significant as the United States continues negotiations with Tehran on a range of issues, including sanctions and regional security concerns. President Trump has repeatedly claimed that Iran's leadership is fractured and struggling with internal disagreements. Oh, is that why we can't get this done?

Well, they're not even letting this guy in on what's going on. You can't even be in the meetings. But I'm the president. No, no.

What? We don't need you here. We'll let you know how it goes. Just go stand outside and wave a flag.

We don't negotiate with the Americans. Whether this resignation is accepted or not, the report suggests that power struggles behind the scenes may be intensifying at a critical moment for Iran. As always, we'll continue to monitor developments as more information becomes available. Well, probably not us, but that was from somebody else.

Yeah. I think it was ABC News. oh, that was weird. It was weird.

Now my sound just got lower in my ear. Yeah. If they could just keep us informed, that would be great. Hey, sir, Mr.

President, what you need to do, get these guys over here in this building in the middle of nowhere, and then you'll have no power struggles. We'll take care of them. Oh, I call immediately. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I see a way around this now. Yeah, this is dumb. If there's people that are superseding him, all he's got to do is pick up the phone. Hey, listen, they got to go.

You want it open? No problem. You want nuclear gone? You know, I can solve all this stuff?

The guys who are the problem are at 759, you know what I mean? Right, yeah, give their address. Oh, he's calling the Americans. Yeah, exactly.

I was gonna call the head I told her, "Look, if you guys want me out, let's all have a meeting. " No, you don't even have to do that. You don't even have to do that. You can tell the Americans where they're at.

759 Alhambra Street. Yeah. Hey man, you want this straightened out? Boom.

I got the in right here, guys. Come on. Here's how we solve this problem. there we go look I would like peace they would like war remove the people I would like a nice house in Miami and something cushy maybe with the models next door Diddy took those all Diddy took them all?

oh we got a Diddy story it's a good Diddy story are you talking about 50 cents baby mama? I don't know I don't think it's the baby mama oh 50 cents baby mama the sex tape dropped oh so that's the baby mama yes we have that we have the entire tape you know like Have you seen the tape? I do not. I mean, part of me does, but I do not.

Are we playing on the show here? Yes, I have a video. It sounds just like the judge video from yesterday. Just different people.

Oh, yeah, we had the judge video yesterday. Oh. The judge that got caught having sex at work. Oh, did you?

You missed a great episode. It was fantastic. Sorry, fellas. All right, a 28-year-old man was arrested early Thursday morning after deputies say he exposed He placed himself outside of Taco Bell on State Road 100, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Live Moss, baby. Let's go. m. " Ah.

Ah, the cops have jokes. Near a side door of the business, when deputies arrived, they found Brandon Zara, Zari? Oh, yeah? Still outside the restaurant, authorities said, according to investigators, Zari had multiple pairs of pants pulled down and initially appeared unaware.

So not just one, he had several pairs. I take this off, I take this off, I take this off. That's to let you know that it is. I did my chalupa.

Wow, dropped the chalupa. He was unaware the deputies were on the scene and he quickly then tried to pull all his pants off. Oh, there's cops here. Oh, there's cops here.

Oh, wow. How awkward. I have 17 pairs of pants down. Yeah.

I mean, obviously the guy's unstable. They don't have a belt. Well, yeah, he's going to fall down. The balance is terrible.

He has that many pair of pants on. He has multiple pair of pants on. Well, I mean, you know, you don't want to carry them. You only allowed one to carry on packing.

Maybe he's going to the airport right after that. Oh, maybe. Yeah, somewhere. The usual case took another turn.

After Zara was taken into custody, while deputies inventoried his belongings, they discovered he had a live pet fish swimming inside a plastic container. Stop it. Stored in his backpack. That's incredible.

He had a bad fish. The fish, a beta. So you can only get one. He probably stole it.

No, it was just a little fish. It was red. Later nicknamed Baja Blast, Taco Bell, by deputies, was transferred to the Flagler County Humane Society. I like how they took the fish to the Humane Society.

They don't know what to do. Can we just flush this? Yeah, they don't know what to do with the fish. Like, what do we...

The Humane Society? " Yeah, what the... We don't do fish. Phil, you ever get a fish from the Humane Society?

I thought it was only like 1,000 cats. Oh, you can go there and adopt it. I'm gonna go adopt Baja Blast. It's already gone.

I'm gonna be in Jacksonville this weekend. What cities is it? Flagler County. I'm gonna be in Jacksonville this weekend.

Oh, my Lord. Shelter staff later described the fish as doing great. Better than the sloths. No, the sloths are doing well now.

They just released a video of a third one that just came out of ICU. Yeah, but the other 52 are gone. Yes, there are several dead, but the ones that are left seem to be doing okay. Several, 52.

" Lovely. These guys, the police department had this joke. I wasn't conducting business. Zari was arrested on a charge of unlawful exposure of sexual organs and transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall inmate detention facility.

Big name on that building, where he's being held on a $5,000 bond according to officials. Call Greg, ask him if he will bail out this fish man. Did you say detention? He will not bail out the fish man.

Yes, inmate detention facility. Oh, okay. He will not bail out the fish man. $5,000 bond, just 500 bucks.

He's got that in his pocket. I thought he was underage. No, no. That's 10%.

So you're going to bail bondsman is what you're saying? Yeah. You don't need to go to bail bondsman. That means the 500's gone.

Yeah. Oh, you only get it back if you pay the whole thing? I'm not sure how this works. I've never needed it.

You gotta drop the full, you gotta pay the whole thing yourself. Oh, you gotta pay the whole thing. Oh, well, he might have to go to the sock drawer, then, if he needs that. The sock drawer?

I picture Greg having money in, like, the sock drawer or the underwear drawer. In the socks. Yeah, yeah, in the blue socks, 'cause they're all blue. Just don't touch the white one.

Don't touch the white sock. Don't touch the sock, it stands up by itself. It's starchy. It's starchy.

He got that one. It's starchy, he says. My wife took my hamburger. I didn't know what else to do.

It's the only way she'd give it back. All right, I'm glad Greg listens every day. Yes. Daphne Joy has addressed a leaked video that literally showed her engaging in sexual intercourse.

So this is a... She leaked the video? She did not leak the video. No, no, she has made, she has addressed it because it has leaked.

Her name is Daphne? Showed her engaging in sexual intercourse with sex worker Sly Diggler. Sly. I looked him up.

He looks like a Sly Diggler. He looks like a Sly Diggler? While Sean Diddy Combs watched on. Oh, boy.

In a since-deleted post, the model and actor who dated Combs on and off between 2021 and 2024 shared a statement: "Everybody plays the fool sometime, and I have been the biggest fool. I just wanted my man, at the time, to be happy and satisfied. I wanted to fulfill all his desires, even if that meant breaking my own boundaries. Okay.

So she was being a good woman, having sex with Diggler, because Sean Diddy wanted to what? Because that's what Combs wanted. So she was like, "Certainly, my darling, I will do this. Mr.

" What's her real name? Or not real name, but what's her handle, or whatever you want to call it? Daphne? Daphne.

Daphne Joy. Oh, I was never aware that Diddy was dating anyone. So, Phil. Well, I'm sure there's a string of women.

So, Phil. Sorry. So, Phil. Phil.

Is it weird to watch your wife have sexual relations with another man? Yeah, but we're talking about Diddy here. But it's weird for you, but you're okay with it, or? Oh, I see what you did there.

Try to walk me into the room. So yeah, no? No, I mean, I think the situation's weird, but what I think's even crazy, like, who released this? Somebody blackmailed her.

I imagine Mr. Diggler. It was either Diggler or Diddy? It wasn't 50?

No, 50 doesn't want a part of it, because you want to know who it hurts the most? And he actually, 50 said this, it hurts his kid the most. Who's kid? The kid that 50 and Daphne had.

Oh, so Daphne is dating 50 now? Is he 50 now? No. Daphne is 50's baby mama.

Okay. How old is the baby? He's an 8th grader. Oh, okay.

I thought it maybe just happened. Yeah, he's seeing things. He's understanding. He knows what's up.

Yeah. Huh. Yeah, 8th grade. Yeah.

That's like Jax's age. Right. I'm guessing this was on TMZ. Uh, no, this was in some kind of weird, uh, magazine.

I don't know, man, but like, you know, when you hear this shit, it's like, dude, actually, I mean, things have consequences. Yeah. You know, you let some dude rail, like, what were you thinking? Yeah.

You know? I used to be a pegger, but I'm not anymore. Right. Like, uh-oh.

Don't bastardize me. Like, I don't, I was just trying to keep my man happy by getting railed by somebody else. I mean, like, what are we doing? Not to mention, like, she was young and foolish.

First of all, if that's the only video that Diddy has of any weird stuff that she's doing, I'd be super surprised. I think in Diddy's world, this is just Tuesday. Yeah. Yeah, but that's kind of my point, you know what I mean?

Oh. Like, she knew something was up, right? Well, maybe not back then, you know, he's like, you know what I want you to do, baby? I want you to let Diggler here just give it to you while I watch.

Okay. Yeah. And then tomorrow, the goat, I'm going to bring the goat. Oh.

I mean, maybe after we draw the line. We're breaking up. I mean, think about the video footage that came out from all the Diddy stuff. Was there a lot of video footage?

Yeah. Supposedly, there was some rumor that he told his kid get rid of the pizza boxes, which is code for get rid of the videotapes. So, I mean, it was stuff we didn't see. Right.

Why would you choose pizza box? It's code. He was in jail. Yeah, but why don't it be like something else?

What? Get rid of the videotapes? That sort of gives away the fact that you haven't made a code. Right.

Get rid of the chocolate bars. It's just as ridiculous as pizza boxes. Yeah. Is that better for you?

I think a chocolate bar is closer to a videotape than a pizza. Yeah, but maybe they really like chocolate bars, and there's a lot of those at the house, but they hate pizza, so there's no pizza. That way there's no confusion. Right.

You know, the cops show up, all the chocolate's gone, but the tapes are right here. Get rid of the USB files. Or maybe he's saying, like, the pizza box is a sausage, like that one movie? - What movie?

- Lover Boy. Was it Lover Boy? - Oh, that was when you ordered anchovies. - Was it anchovies?

- Extra anchovies. - Oh, you had to order the extra anchovies. - Oh, okay. Maybe that's what it is.

" - Yeah. - Just oblivious though. - Yeah. - This black guy just throws them away all the time.

I don't know what's going on. - Right. I don't know what's going on. - He's got super slippery fingers.

- Hey, Lover Boy, we got another delivery to Sly Diggler. Extra anchovies, he said, in a hurry. Extra anchovies. Oh God, I hate going on that guy, he's got so much baby oil.

Oh my goodness. Okay. All right, so moving on. You have a video?

I do. We're at the video portion. Is it of Sly Diggler? And Daphne Joy?

No, it is not. If you could cut the clip where it sounds like that's what it is. It is not my favorite. Oh my word, it's Daphne Joy and Diggler!

Beep. What is this? Oh. Uh oh, it is Daphne Joy and Diggler.

What is this video? Oh, here it is. Wrong phone. Here it is.

Hold on. Oh, I have to get my phone. Can we listen to the sound? We gotta ask all these preemptive questions.

Everybody plays a fool. Yes. 'Cause it is not our first day. It is.

" Today's her birthday. Oh. Happy birthday. Okay.

You ready? Go ahead. I don't -- I just got a -- somebody -- Skip recommended somebody. Oh, here it is.

Oh, wow. He's not even trimming them anymore. I think I'm living proof of that. One is, you know, nothing comes easy.

And I've learned that the harder I work, the luckier I get. And so I kind of coming back from my sports background and my life prior to tobacco and athletics, I just knew that, hey, I may not be the most talented, but nobody's gonna outwork me. And I've applied that philosophy to my professional career as well. I think if you really put in the work and obviously there's sacrifices along the way, but if you put in the work and you're dedicated, I think good things will happen.

And I think I'm living proof from that. What sports background is he? Yeah, I was going to ask that same question. I don't know.

Well, that's not the reason why Mikey brought up the video. How have we never heard he has a sports background? Let me type in Justin Andrews sports background. Can we call him?

He doesn't answer the phone. This is a totally different Justin Andrews from Mind Pump. Oh, Mind Pump. Is that a German team it sounds like?

is that like? Yeah. Uh-huh. Jawohl, I am from the main pump.

This is a much tanner Justin Andrews, so it can't be him. Justin Andrews, baseball, left-handed pitcher, 2016. No, no, no. Well, that was 10 years ago.

Well, that could be it. That could be it. Is there a photo? You know what?

Out of all the sports, it'd probably be baseball. Baseball. Oh, that's definitely not him. Definitely not him.

No, that's totally different, Justin Andrews. I don't think he's a basketball player. No, he's not coordinated enough for basketball. There's another Justin Andrews, 2005 football roster.

That's definitely not him. He doesn't look like a football guy. Could have been when he was younger. So you talking like your kids have a sports background?

I don't know. I mean, I don't know. Flag football. I played flag football when I was 11.

I think he did baseball. Baseball would make sense in college. I want to say like North Carolina or something like that. Well, that would really make sense.

Hmm. Yeah. The accent. So weird.

Explain who Justin Andrews is real quick. Yes, you're right. Justin Andrews is... It's a new part of the show.

Be quiet over there. He does diesel cigars. He makes the blends with diesel cigars. And he works at a place called Scandinavian Tobacco Group, STG.

They are like the overlord of the cigar industry. They own Cigars International and yeah so he's he's he's a big munkety-munk in the company that we belittle whenever possible oh and we did a we did a Little Debbie's Exposed with him Justin Andrews yes so he's a friend he's a friend loosely loosely he doesn't answer our calls no no we call you so we have to corner him in public yes do embarrassing things to do embarrassing Now, outwork everybody. I mean, I think he works hard. He works hard.

He travels a lot. He ain't digging ditches. But, like, outwork everybody. He does a lot of meetings.

Yeah. I see a lot of photos of him smoking cigars at places. Yeah. Eating dinners.

Cooper doesn't like it, says every time he travels, it's just another vacation. It's another vacation. Yeah. Phil, do you think that Justin Andrews is the hardest worker in the scour industry?

You guys are roping me in on this one, huh? Yeah. Justin Andrews, just answer. I'd like to go to you on this, too.

I mean... Thank you. I don't know. I don't know what the guy does.

Like, I just know he doesn't answer the phone. I don't even know what his position is at STG. Have you ever... You know, you went to PCA a couple times.

Yeah, I mean, the conversations that I had with him, he looked like he was always busy talking. " Yeah. " Yeah, you know, they're backstage passes, but I really don't want to go. " I got a meeting with Sly Diggler later.

Yeah, like... Talking about a new cigar called... I don't know. I don't know what he does, truthfully, for STG.

No, I absolutely don't either. Yeah? I mean, I know he makes blends. He creates blends, he blends cigars?

Yeah, he does. Okay. He does that, and he's the face of Diesel. Right, right.

Yeah. And he is smart. No, he is smart. Yeah.

When you say he blends cigars for STG, like he blends them for like Caldwell, like everybody that's in. everybody that's in. Diesel. No, diesel.

Diesel. Just diesel. He blends the diesel. So all the diesel cigars, he blends them himself.

I guess. Caldwell is not part of SDG. I thought they got bought out by them. No, no.

They got bought out by somebody else. Those pipes or something like that. Oh. Outwork everybody.

Yeah. I don't know. Seems a bit much. Seems a little over the top.

It does. So when you went to PCA and you saw him, did you ever say, you know, you ever talk about Justin Andrews to somebody else and they're like, Yeah, man, that guy works his ass off. Did that ever happen? No, I don't think so.

No, that didn't happen. No. Okay, all right, I'm just curious. What about you, when you were?

" Wow, that's crazy. " That guy's working hard. He's working hard, yeah, he's busy. I mean, he's got like the, he's got the nice truck, you know what I mean?

You know what I mean? Right. He's doing all right. Wasn't he used?

We called him one time on a weekday and he was building something at his house. And he does deal with a lot of our BS that we sling at him. Well. So we love him.

Sure, I don't dislike him by any means. But the outwork everybody term. Right. Seems...

P. one time he was a guy that followed Booth around to make sure he had everything he needed and took his photos. That was when he was trying to woo him into STG. Yes, yes.

He was trying to. Right. Yeah. He followed him around?

Yes. It's a He took his photos, so that way he would sign with them. Justin, take my photo, take my photo, get the man, get the man's camera, take my photo. That was when he was working hard.

Right, that's when he was working hard. When you're somebody else's photographer. Yeah, you see Matt Booth around going, Justin, Justin, photo. How are we going to get Matt Booth in the STG?

Oh, we'll send Justin. We'll send Justin. I really like Justin. He's good at that stuff.

Justin, my balls itch. Oh, certainly, sir. Oh. Oh, that's excellent.

Thank you, man. Why are your hands so sticky? Did you eat those little debbies again? Wait, did you eat those little Debbies again?

No, he had two lemon cakes at lunch. The lemon cake. Right, he had two lemon cakes. Oh, I should've never had that second lemon cake.

Oh, I should've never had that second lemon cake. He wasn't ordering a lot of people around that. Like, how do you look at-- yeah, exactly. Where's Bob?

Where's Bob? I need coffee. Where's my coffee? Bob the coffee guy.

How do you look at a lemon cake and say, "You know what? " Yeah, I know. I don't even like lemon. I don't like lemon cake.

You know what I mean? Yeah. It's weird. Weird.

It is, it's a little rushing. Justin, if you want a rebuttal, you can call us tomorrow. We look forward to your call. Well, when do these clips come out?

Yeah, it'll be a little bit. You can call us this week. There you go. Whenever you see the clip.

We know you don't watch the show, so. No, but everybody watches the clips. I'm sure someone will tell them. You can't avoid them at this point.

It's true. Okay. I see them on TikTok, on Instagram, and Facebook. I know.

Somebody tag Justin Andrews. There you go. We're everywhere. Super aggressive.

Super aggressive. Okay. All right. On to cigar news.

Belgium reverses course on plain packaging for cigar bands. Reversing? They're reversing. Okay.

Now, cigar bands are not considered packaging. Oh. So you can do what you want. That's nice.

Yes. Because they're inside the box. Correct. Aha.

Today, June 2nd, 3rd, I don't know. But on June 1st was supposed to be the introduction of Belgium's new plain packaging rule for cigars. Turns out that will not be the case. The Federal Public Service Health, or the FPS, have classified that it will not consider the ban of a cigar or cigarillo as a prohibited item.

It's part of a few changes which allow cigar companies to use existing packaging in Belgium, a country that has been at the forefront of the anti-tobacco regulations. No one likes you. We don't like you. You got a lot of ass on your shirt.

I know. It just exploded on me. Thank you. The FPS Public Health wishes to inform you that a number of amendments will be made to decrease relating to standardized packaging and specifically for cigarellos and cigars.

A cigar/cigarello band is not considered a prohibited element as it forms an integral part of the product. There's a bunch of other things. We won't read all these. That's the main one.

So, I mean, why are we going after packaging at all? I think it's like it was almost here where the outside of the box has to say, these may cause cancer. Right. Pregnant women shouldn't smoke these.

Right. So, because they don't want the outside of the package to be appealing and draw people in. The children. Or the children.

Or the children. It's always about the children. Ridiculous. Are we gonna, are we going to eliminate, and, and change packaging on liquor?

Uh, well, it's just a sticker on the outside of there, they don't- But it's enticing. Some of it's in nice glass, you know what I mean? Like that Sincoro bomb. No, no, we like alcohol, it's tobacco we don't like.

It's totally fine. The children can drink, they just can't smoke. Like the vodka and the Skull, the Crystal Skull. I don't think they have that one in Belgium.

I never smoked a cigar and- They don't like Dan Aykroyd. and sped through a school zone and killed somebody. You know what I mean? Oh.

But you could drink a bottle and... Well, yes, but I'm not holding it up to the window as I drive through as I run over the children, so... You're not holding it up to the window? I'm not holding it up to the window.

I'm going, woo-hoo! Da-dum, da-dum, da-dum. Right, I'm not doing that. There might be some of those people holding that ripple out there.

Ripple? Yeah, whatever you call it. What's ripple? Isn't that like a old liquor?

Ripple is like a Mad Dog type product. Oh, is it? It's a lower end, highly... It's a lower end than Mad Dog?

Yeah, it's like... Well, Mad Dog's in that lower end section of alcohol, but the high alcohol level thing. It's like Superhood. MD 2020?

Yes. Which is Mad Dog. Yes. Yes.

Ripple. Boone's Farm. Yeah. Colt 45?

See, Boone's Farm, he's getting super country. O-E. You go ahead. O-E.

Old English. Mickey's Ice. Ugh. So, Mickey's Ice, is that in the same category with, is that a malt liquor Colt 45 type thing?

I guess, yeah. I think so. Yeah. The little fat bottle, the little round.

Yeah, it was like a little grenade. Yeah, yeah. There was only two that I vomited on when I was a kid. Two alcohols or two beers?

Yeah. No, Mickey's Ice and Miller Lite. Oh. Really?

You ever have? Yeah. Never have. You've never, yeah?

You never vomited from drinking? Uh-uh. You never lived, did ya? No, no.

You just handled my liquor. Oh. Are you throwing shade at me right now? You wanna have a drinking contest?

How long did you start, when was the first time that you got hammered? How old were you? Wait, hold on. I feel like that was the first time I've ever seen Palmer get excited.

You wanna have a drinking contest? You wanna have a drinking contest? I don't think that you would win that. You don't?

No. Huh. To be honest. Okay.

I don't know. We used to drink a lot back in the day on the Chad Palmer show. I know. You guys were friends for a minute and then that fell off.

You guys got really drunk together and that was the end of the day. You should have seen what his garage used to look like. Yeah, he called his wife and blamed me for everything. That was the end.

He had a lot of empty bottles in that garage. How old were you the first time you got drunk? Five. I mean like bad.

I was probably a bad drunk. I would have been of age then. Yeah. So, yeah, in my early 20s.

I was probably 12 when I was vomiting. Doesn't mean any, well, yeah, but you weren't doing it well when I was, in my 20s, I wasn't vomiting. Thinks it makes a big difference when you're, you know, young. Don't think so.

12, huh? Yeah. Yeah. Well, shouldn't have told your mother you couldn't sleep.

Different childhood, different life. I should have told my mother I couldn't sleep, huh? Have another beer, Michael, you'll be able to sleep, it'll be fine. She had no idea what was going on in my life.

Poor ruckus. You'd probably be surprised. Poor ruckus. Poor ruckus unchanged.

Poor ruckus unchanged. All right, Espinosa's 601 Blue, 20th anniversary, and the La Bamba Warhead 12 arrives at stores. Yeah? You all right over there?

Yeah. Did we ever get a phone call from Jack about the... I got a phone call from Jack about us not researching before we review a cigar. Okay.

Two of Espinosa's premium cigars, new releases from the 2026 PCA convention and trade show in mid-April, have begun arriving on store shelves. The 601 Blue 20th Anniversary and the 601 La Bamba Warhead 12, as the name of the first release indicates, Espinosa is celebrating 20 years of its popular 601 Blue line. The 601 Blue 20th Anniversary is a limited edition that uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, atop a Nicaraguan binder and filler, and is made at the San Lutano factory, and it's available in 6 3/4 of 56 oval-shaped Gran Toro Vitola. Aha.

It's good. We reviewed it. We enjoyed this. Yeah, we gotta review the other Warhead, too.

Let's see, the 601 La Bamba Warhead might be the company's most popular. The 12th installment, not counting some of the unnumbered Independence Day releases and the re-up releases, comes in a 6 and an 8 by 58 Fatola and uses an all Nicaraguan blend with a broadleaf binder. The only specific detail disclosed. It's also made at the San Lotano factory with the initial production run being set at 5,000 boxes of 10 cigars.

Though like the 601 Blue, 20th Anniversary, that number could change with time. What's your favorite Espinosa cigar? The Crema. The Crema?

Yeah. So that's a lighter cigar? It's a lighter cigar. Yeah, Connecticut.

Very creamy Connecticut cigar. Yeah. What about you, Phil? What's your favorite Espinosa cigar?

Are we talking about like their whole line? Mm-hmm. The Knuckle Sandwich is included. Mm-hmm.

I like the Knuckle Sandwich Connecticut. Two Connecticut's. See, to me, it tastes very similar to the other one. I, if I can't find a Crema, I'll go to the Knuckle Sandwich Connecticut.

Yeah? They're almost interchangeable, as far as I'm concerned. Interesting. Hmm.

Huh. It's a good Connecticut. They do have a lot of full-flavored cigars, though, that are quite good. Yeah.

And I'm surprised that you didn't pick one of those. I mean, my second one would be the Laranja Orange. I, I only smoke their Connecticut or our Connecticut. Those are my two Connecticut go-tos.

So that sort of limits my Connecticut options, but I like the Murciélago, I like the Strong La Bambas, those are always good. You don't smoke the Intemperance EC for a lighter cigar? No, not at a Connecticut, it's a good Connecticut, it's just not as creamy as the Crema or ours. I would say that would be my third choice.

I used to smoke the industry all the time. The AWS is dope. It was dope. Well, thank you for asking.

I would say that my favorite Espinosa... Oh, Michael! What is your favorite Espinosa cigar? No, it's okay.

I got it. Don't worry. Sorry, it's not my job. I would say, you know, one that I've been smoking a lot lately has been that Murciélago, the Rabidos, or whatever.

It's like a square. Yeah? Yeah, it's really good. Especially, like, in the evenings, before my Neanderthal HN.

Wow, that's pretty. That's a punch. It's a good cigar. It's a good cigar, and I love the box press on it.

What color is, is the black one the Rabideau? What do you mean? Well, there's different colored bats. Yeah, it's a black bat.

It's the black bat. Yeah. It's good. It's very good.

Yeah, when they had the special edition Murciélago, that was good. There is an orange one that I see. The Chicaca? The Chicaca.

The Chicaca. There is an orange bat that I see every once in a while on social media that I've never had that I would like to try. Yeah. If someone could find one.

Oh. Three. Okay. Just one.

Trace. One. Trace. One.

Okay, what else you got? Moving on, next story. Oh, sorry. I'm still looking for the one.

Trace. See, they told Halfwell something about the knuckle sandwich. It'll be coming out soon. Okay.

All right. Now it's time for the industry's favorite game. What's the score? The score!

What is, what's the score you say? What just happened there? I heard something, it sounded like the sound went off. Yeah, it did.

I forgot my mask was off. Oh, no. No, everybody's gonna know who you are. Oh!

I just want you to know. I have to cut that out. Yeah, better, better. Yeah, edit it.

I cut out that part you said I wouldn't cut out in yesterday's show too, by the way. Did you? Yes. Oh, thank you.

When I couldn't find the video. I know what you're talking about. " Alright, anyway, what's the score? Play here's your clues from a Half Wheel Cigar Review and try to predict the score before it's revealed.

As more details are shared, the challenge gets easier, or does it? The closest guess to the actual score wins the round. Can you read between the lines and predict the score? Let's find out with what's the score.

First Cigar, March 14th, 2018. Patrick Legreed is the reviewer. FQ Cigars Nicaragua reviews the FQ Proper Corona Gorda. Phil?

Is this the one you carry? Yeah. Yeah. You don't know the score, right?

No. I figured he wouldn't remember. Okay. That's why it's from the Wayback Machine.

All right. I just want to make sure. Um... I happened to stumble across it.

" I'll go 88. 89. It is the FQ Proper Corona Gorda from Nicaragua, Factory, Nicaraguan American Cigars SA, or Noxa. Noxa.

Wrapper, Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro, Binder Honduras, Filler, Connecticut, Broadleaf and Honduras. Length is 5 and 5H by 46, like we said it to Corona Gorda. Released date, February 3rd, 2018, six, seven, eight years ago, a number of cigars doesn't say they smoked three. Seems like it's been out longer than just eight years.

Yeah. Hmm. This is one of the cigars that we represent still, I'm guessing? Yes.

88. 89. Clue number one, the FQ Proper Corona Gordo delivers a rich and engaging flavor profile, combining notes of chocolate, subtle rum, sweetness, cedar, and earthy tobacco. The complexity evolves throughout the smoke, especially in the second, third, where touches of sweetness and layered flavors create a rewarding and memorable experience.

88. 89. Clue number 2. Construction is a standout feature with an easy draw, solid smoke production, and dependable burn performance for most of the cigar.

Even as the profile shifts from bold and earthy to smoother and more nuanced, the cigar maintains balance and keeps the smoker interested. 88. 89. While the cigar show, the clue number three, while the cigar shows impressive complexity, the final third can become a bit too aggressive.

You should just get the return of black pepper and heavier earthy notes occasionally introduce harshness on the tongue and throat, masking some of the sweeter and more refined flavors that made middle portion so enjoyable. That was a long third clue. 88. 89.

Oh, hello. Nice to see you. It's resting my eyes. Final thought.

Consider me impressed by the FQ Proper Corona, Gorda. It's a robust cigar that manages to stay balanced and complex nearly from start to finish, while also mixing in some good transitions in both strength and flavor profile. It's a bit of a deceptive blend. And as I noted above, I could have easily been led to believe that there's some Nicaraguan tobacco in the mix, though it seems that the Connecticut Broadleaf does a fair amount of the driving in the profile, with the Ecuadorian Habano and Honduran tobaccos contributing their own spin on the end result.

While production and availability are both incredibly limited, this new cigar is worth adding to your basket if you can track some down. Hmm... 91. Damn.

Just so you know, I have to pee. Wow. Not sure what that code means, Phillip. That's what Greg always wants to say.

Do you have to pee or not? Right. I'm going to go 90. You went the right way!

89. I was right the whole time! Well, I didn't know this until I got to the end. Champion.

That is so ridiculous. I am the champion. Don't sing! We have to pay for that.

Why? No, we don't. We didn't sing. No.

You sing? We did three seconds of a song and that's our only mark on... But you played the actual song. Yeah, but I played three seconds.

But it was an actual song. Okay. Okay. You're just saying, we are the champions.

Yeah. No, I said, I am. But it wasn't the actual song. Well, when I...

If I played Queens, we are the champions, we'd be in trouble. When I dub it in, it'll be the same. No. Okay.

All right. Anything else to add? Nope. I got nothing.

I win again. If I win throughout the entire week, the listeners would like to see you in the Princess Peach outfit. No. We have to find one.
