ACHP Episode 549 Where Did We Park ?

Episode Summary
Episode 549 of A Cigar Hustler's Podcast finds Mike Palmer, Mike "Mikey" Szczevankewicz and Greg "Triple G" back in the studio (no Phil again) with guest David Morris sitting in as studio audience. The first half is classic off-topic Hustler territory: a bomb threat that forced the evacuation of Gatorland in Orlando, the Texas verdict and 35-year sentence in the Frisco high school track meet stabbing case, a debate over whether that punishment fits the crime, an albino buffalo in Bangladesh that went viral for looking like Donald Trump, and a genuinely grim Houston restaurant employee case. The crew also reads listener comments from Patreon and YouTube and pitches the CHPod.com mugs.
The cigar half opens with the crime-and-punishment theme carried into a news clip about Ipswich, Massachusetts lacrosse players sidelined from a state semifinal over a graduation photo with cigars — cigars the players' father proved were fake, hand-built from banana leaves with coaching from a local tobacconist. The guys unanimously agree the school overreached since the code of conduct only bans tobacco, and they spend a while marveling at the retailer who walked a non-customer through how to fake a cigar.
Cigar news covers the Eladio Diaz 73rd Anniversario "Unforgettable Edition," a Dominican puro-style blend with dual Sumatra and San Andrés binders and fillers including Barrel Aged Tabano 2000, Corojo 99, Criollo 98, Corojo 06 and Piloto Cubano, distributed by Arango Cigar Co. at $25 for the Toro Extra and $20 for the limited Robusto, with an assorted 10-count box at $270. They also break down Aganorsa Leaf's new Supreme Leaf sampler collecting ten past one-at-a-time vitola releases, and the Atabey Black Delirios — a 5¾ x 55 double robusto from Selected Tobacco with an Ecuadorian wrapper and Dominican/Peruvian filler, aged five years in cedar and French oak rooms, shipping in a numbered leather-and-gold 10-count travel humidor at $600 MSRP, 1,500 boxes total. Nelson Alfonso's brand gets plenty of price-shock commentary, plus an unanswered on-air call attempt to Oliver at United Cigar Group.
The show closes with "What's the Score?", the half-wheel guessing game. The cigar is the Amar by A.J. Fernandez in a 6 x 56 Toro, reviewed by Charlie Minato — earth, leather, popcorn, berry sweetness, brown mustard, creaminess and hoisin sauce, undercut by sharpness, aggressive saltiness, tight draws and fragile ash. Palmer lands it exactly at 87.

You guys. Oh, wait, Phil, when you're on, when you're talking, the camera's supposed to be on. Yeah, but this is me looking at my phone, and this will be nicer to see your reaction. Oh.
I look real good today. Can we not do the slurpee with the... My wife said I have to drink like this or she takes my coffee. That is not what I sound like.
This is what I sound like. That's what I sound like. This is my little special hello to her. Okay.
It's like Caroline Nett pulling her ear. @brucecox8216, Phil's missing from the show, show and palmer has become the new whipping boy allegedly bring back the old intro these new ad red descriptions have lost the charm and personality of the show oh and mike time to lay off the adderall i don't take adderall just so you know uh that wasn't very nice that was a lot of negative critiquing right yeah bruce nobody likes when you make changes you gotta understand you you gotta hit him with a compliment and then hit him with the negativity it's called the ike and tina approach You're looking very muscly lately. Is it the Adderall you've been taking? You might want to cut back.
Right. You're looking very muscly. Are you taking, are you taking, are you on drugs and that's why you're being aggressively attacking Palmer? You were aggressively attacking Palmer for the last episode though.
Yeah, I felt it. Last two. Yesterday was just another notch. It continued.
Even after recording stopped, it went all the way upstairs, it was nice. It went all day. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It happens.
- Okay. Bruce, thank you so much for commenting. - Don't wait. - Let's see here.
T-Money. I love how Palmer thinks three messages is all through the show. - It's only in our show, T. - No more presents for him.
Also, it's federal agent. Go ahead, boys. Gang up on Palmer all you want. - That's right.
- Stretch. He's a federale. Oh, that's the Mexicans. I know.
Okay. What are you, with a whole lot of flipping going on over there. @DavidHasselhoffman says, "Does this kid not have any feeling in his fingers? " Yeah, man.
I don't, I don't know, buddy. I don't know. " All right, no Phil again today. Yeah, sorry, no Phil.
The show was too serious without Phil. He's on the movie set again. " How about Triple G Thursdays? You get both.
You get Wednesday and Thursday. That's right. You get the strings and the guitar. Right?
No? Yeah? I don't... What's that?
Um... Epileptic seizure with all the flipping. Datacash says, WTF, how much force do you need to unplug a punch cutter? Yeah, apparently a tremendous amount of force.
Right through the finger. Yeah, enough to go about a half inch through the finger. And it was not the right tool to use, to be honest. I don't know why he was thinking that.
And... I like that he held it on his finger to push through. Like, where did he think it was gonna go? Yeah.
What are you just, it's just going to just right at the end and then it won't go in. That's correct. At CW6383 says, some of us are a tad OCD, Mikey. What's he talking about?
The rearranging of the room, I'm guessing. Right. How you wouldn't notice. I got it.
Because when you enter your home, you're completely oblivious. Your wife takes care of everything. But I pointed out that if somebody moved your seat in your car, half an inch, you'd notice it. Yeah.
Yeah. I don't appreciate Greg Triple G. That was a little aggressive. You're right.
Get him. Get him. I just finished that entire cup of coffee. I'm sorry.
You better calm down. I'm sorry. You better be nice to the moneymaker or he'll take a break. And we'll see what happens to all of you.
It's not going to be good. And let's see. Tell us more team money, said CW6383. I saw one other one.
Oh. At Ruckus Unchained. Oh, Sharon. The mother thing, I know.
Sharon. The mother thing. The mother thing. Was this Keanu again?
You can't say any particular name. I can't. I can't. Sorry, he spelled it wrong.
We cannot confirm or deny the person involved in said incident. The impalement. The impalement. So.
Oh, and this was on the previous episode, but I needed to state this, Because it says at TX, but it's at Texas Southpaw, recently placed a purchase on the site and left a note. Thank you very much. We appreciate you. You are a great person.
Movie title, Spider-Man, Michael Keaton is home. The villain was the Vulture. Okay. I put all that up in the show.
Yeah. Appreciate that. If you want to hear your comment read aloud on the show, just comment below and we may potentially read it out loud. I think I just covered almost all of them on that, so, you know, sometimes you may have a good chance, sometimes maybe no, but you know, comment below.
Next week we're going to do another giveaway, but I'm going to go back and then look at some of the people that didn't bother commenting because we didn't give anything away, and then I'm going to judge the hell out of you. So, and at this current moment, we're going to go on with the show. Oh, Gatorland in Orlando is forced to evacuate on Tuesday. Uh oh.
You want to guess why? Fire. Michael? I'm going to say there was a slew of little people, they raided the entire alligator, Gatorland.
No. Like hobbits? You were very close. I'm trying my best to sound as stupid as possible when I'm sitting in this chair.
Oh, oh, is that what it is? He's trying to fill a void. I got you. He's trying to fill a void.
If you miss fill, I'm just going to be like, "Dah, I think what happened was the rabbits came They came in, and they took over Gatorland. Alright, it was evacuated over a reported bomb threat from the Orange County Sheriff's Office. News 6 originally received a tip about the evacuation from a viewer. Though the Orange County Sheriff's Office said it was working on gathering information.
Meanwhile, News 6 community correspondent, Jaina Maholahala. Maholahala? Manola, Manola? Manola Hala.
Manola, Manola. m. to see what was going on. On arrival, she discovered from people at the scene that they'd been evacuated into the parking lot but weren't initially told why.
Hmm. Deputies later revealed that a bomb threat had been reported which prompted the evacuation and our deputies conducted an extensive search and did not locate any bombs. What kind of soulless individual tries to put a bomb threat on Gatorland? I mean, what are we doing?
It seems kind of an odd place to pick. Very. Somebody's very bored. Well, maybe they have some type of axe to grind with the gator.
Maybe it was the guy that got the 50 dimes for getting bit. Oh, now he's just against alligators. He doesn't like the gators. Oh, that could be.
Does he become like some type of super villain? Gator man or something? Yeah, right, just against alligators. I am the lizard.
Later Tuesday evening, Gatorland released the following statement about the incident. Orlando received a bomb threat this afternoon. We immediately evacuated the park, including remaining guests and staff. Park leaders worked with the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
They will secure the premises based on their full inspection. So how did they go out and inspect the water area where all they keep all the alligators? They have a special gator bomb detectors, and yeah, they've actually trained these gators to go in and sniff out any type of C4 and type of explosives. So they didn't use bomb sniffing dogs because the alligator would have eaten?
They borrowed that device that the guy was trying to sell on. The radioactive. Oh, the radioactive thing. Yeah, yeah.
Smart. As a result of the clearance given by the Sheriff's Office, Gatorland will open tomorrow, June 10th. m. m.
daily, for summer extended hours. I like how they got that. There's a little ad. There's a little ad there.
The safety of our staff, guests, and animals is always our top priority. Come see the Gator Jumperoo. And get 20% off today. Mention Bomb and get a discount.
What is a Gator Jumperoo? You've never been there? How have you and your wife, the reptile, king and queen, world traveler, lady boy people, not been to Gatorland? The Tortoise Acquisitioners?
I don't know. We've never been to Gatorland. You should go. She would like it.
They have turtles. You like turtles. Yeah. Well, she likes turtles.
So, they have a big lagoon thing in the middle. There's a guy who goes out into this little stand, and they run chickens across these ropes across the water, and gators jump six to eight feet out of the water to eat the chickens. Oh, that's nice. And then the guy starts doing it by hand.
Or girl, I guess it could be at this point. Yeah, let's not judge, you know? Sexist. Well, when I went there was a guy, but they could be girls.
Hmm. So the alligators, actually, the water is shallower than you think, and the alligators use their tail to push off from the bottom. Oh. And that's how they jump-a-roo.
It's a jump-a-roo. It's the jump-a-roo. All right. m.
m. Mention Bomb. Buy one, get the second one. 20% off, today only.
Alright, now this is a big story hitting everywhere. A Texas courtroom reached a verdict this week. You're gonna talk about this one, huh? Yeah, I figured it would be a good conversation for the show.
Okay, that's fine. Reached a verdict this week in a case that drew national attention and sparked intense debate over self-defense, school safety, and accountability. 19-year-old Carmelo Anthony was found guilty of murder and the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalfe during a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas in April of 2025. Mm-hmm.
Following the conviction, Anthony was sentenced to 35 years in prison, according to prosecutors, what should have been an ordinary day competition turned tragic after the altercation between the two teenagers escalated into violence. Yeah. He got 35 years. He got 35 years.
I'm unfamiliar with the story. All right. There was a track meet and it started raining. The gentleman who was just convicted went into the tent of the other team.
He was asked to leave several times, one kid pushed him, and then he stabbed the kid in the heart and sliced his ventricle, and the kid died. It went from shove to stab? Correct. Yeah, the fight went for six minutes, or the altercation.
Yeah. The fight will be an exaggeration, from what I read. Yeah. Wow.
Wow. Crazy. And these are kids. 17, yeah.
These are kids. These are 100% kids. Right. Yeah.
Yeah. So now the families and the community is in a bit of an uproar because the kid got 35 years. His life is over. He's not in his future.
He's going to be something different now where the other kid is dead. Yep. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. That's sad. Yeah. It is.
It's very sad. Does the crime match the punishment? Because that's what you started off with your title. Right.
That was the thing. Yeah. I mean, he got 35 years. He stabbed the kid.
You think 35 years, that's okay? That should have been the punishment? I'm okay with it. You're okay with it?
Sure. You think 35 years? Greg? I mean, it's a kid, but he took a physical altercation that was just, you know, fists and cuffs to a weapon to a point where he took somebody's life.
That's correct. I'm not saying that, you know, I'm not asking, he messed up, big time. Huge. Yeah, but the question is, it was 35 years the right penalty.
I mean, you can say, yeah, I'm going to say, yeah, I'm going to say, yes, I disagree. I disagree. I think it's too, I think it's too much. This kid's, you know, we destroy two lives.
Like, he's officially institutionalized. He's done. Oh, his life is over, practically. Practically, yeah.
Well, it's called a life sentence, right? Well, but it's not a life sentence, but it will change his life. 35 years is a life sentence. When he does get out, he is not going to be the same person.
His trajectory has completely changed. No, he missed out on everything. Yeah. On everything.
So, yeah, I mean, I don't think it should have been 35 years. What do you think is appropriate for killing another person? This is one of those ones where it's hard to say. I don't know where the line is.
Supposedly halfway through, he's available for parole. 17 years? Yeah, 17 years. I mean, there is a super fine line, right?
Because like, if it were like a five-on-one type of situation, and the one had to use a weapon to stop the potential from him being beaten to death, then it can be self-defense without a doubt. Well, no, like, well, here's the reality. The reality is that we don't know what went down. We know what we've read from the news articles and all these other things, and you could assume all types of things no matter what perspective you want to look at.
So if I just break it down to the binary situation of, I have a kid who was in an altercation, he pulled out a weapon, and he stabbed and killed the other kid, what do I think as an individual should be the punishment? I don't know. I think that maybe 15 years? What if you know wholeheartedly 100% the individual with the knife was the aggressor?
What if that is factual information? I'm still looking at the fact that, I don't know, man, I got a soft spot for kids, bro. I look at them like, man, this kid needed help. Agreed.
The kid totally needed help. He wouldn't be in that situation if he was given something he needed. Yeah, so I look at that and that bothers me. That bothers me.
So then, you know, then I kind of look at the situation and say, okay, how do I, how do we help this kid? Like, there's nothing I can do about the other kid. The other kid's gone and that's sad and that sucks. But like, destroying this kid's life and not helping him and shoving him into the system for 35 years doesn't feel right to me.
It feels like there's, there had, there had to be, there's gotta be something else. Should there, you know. 15 years i don't know should it be it should it be a sizable punishment absolutely i'm not saying that that's the case but man by the time that kid gets out well he's gonna be you know he could be 60 right or damn near close to it something like that 50 something years old it's older than me sure and completely institutionalized yeah you know which isn't even worse right so so we didn't We didn't fix anything. We didn't, we didn't help, we didn't, you know, like as a society didn't straighten anything out.
You just, you know, I don't know. Like, that's, that's what I kind of look at, man. I just, I look at kids and kids need help. You don't think that harsh punishments keep people in line?
You don't think 15 years is a harsh punishment? Oh, that's fine. But whatever the defining line is, right? But like, there's a reason why we have harsh punishment for harsh crimes.
Yeah, and this is a, this is a, yeah, he, but he's getting the maximum, it's not like he went in and said, hey, I'm going to stab somebody today, right? Well, he did bring the knife to the tractor. Okay, I agree with that, yeah, but, you know, like. The eyewitness accounts are anything from two-handed push to one-handed push.
Right, so, so, okay, so it's fair to say we don't know, right? Right. Supposedly, he was asked to leave 15 different times by numerous people inside the tent. But that bothers me, too.
Like, hey, it's raining now, idiots. Like, you know, okay, he's the competition. Calm down. Like, so many things went wrong here, right?
Like, who are the adults in this situation? And maybe they're not in the tent. I don't know. But like, dude, if you're my enemy on the field, right?
You're not my enemy when the game's over. I'm not, hey, I'm gonna, you know, I'm looking to rip you apart. And like, it's our job as parents and coaches to teach that to kids like, "Hey, he's not your enemy right now. Calm down.
It's raining out. Like, relax. I don't care what he said on the field. " But what if the kid with the knife actually did have the perspective of enemy on the field, enemy off the field, and he went in there antagonizing the situation because that was his perspective?
Same situation. Parents and coaches need to educate him. Hey, what are we doing? Right?
Like, I'm gonna tell you right now, if the mentality is rip their head off during the game, rip their head off, go, right? But guess what? Afterward, game's over, right? Game's done.
I'm not, you have to teach a kid to turn it off and still realize that, hey, you're just working around your other peers, so. And it was track and field, so it's not like it was an aggressive-type sporting event. Tell that to Teddy. That would be horrible if both were competing in, like, Shot Put.
They don't look that big. No? No, not big enough for Shot Put, or Javelin, and then just... Sword Fight.
Sword Fight. So, yeah. I don't know. I don't know.
It feels like a lot. It feels like a lot to me. So, it's a damn shame, man. All the way around.
Nobody wins in that scenario, dude. Agreed. It sucks. So, can't believe you brought that one up.
It's national news. And you're getting some nasty comments on that one. All right, I just sent you a picture. It goes with the next story.
Oh, good. Is it Shredder? No, it's not Shredder. In Bangladesh.
Oh, is this Greg's ladyboy with his previous experience? No, that is the Donald Trump buffalo in Bangladesh. Oh, look at this! With his shock of golden hair and trim 7,000 kilogram build, Donald Trump has been drawing crowds from across Bangladesh since he arrived at the National Zoo last week.
He's a great cow, he's the most perfect cow ever, we love the cow. He's a buffalo. He's a buffalo. The rare albino buffalo became a sensation when a farmer noticed that his blonde tuff of hair resembled the distinctive locks After a video of the pale-horned mammal went viral on social media, large numbers of people started showing up at the farm outside of Dhaka, D-H-A-K-A, Dhaka, it's in Bangladesh, Thailand, where Greg gets his ladyboys, To see him for himself, the animal was originally meant to be slaughtered for the Muslim festival of sacrifice, but citing security concerns, the government ordered him transferred to the zoo in the capital, where large crowds are now braving sweltering heat to see him.
I love this buffalo. It's the greatest buffalo. I'm gonna keep the buffalo. It looks like it's AI.
It does look like AI. Oh, really? Because it was several different ones. I pulled the one that showed just as well.
The image looks totally AI. It does. It could be a completely fake article. You know what I mean?
It was on ABC and CBS. Yeah, well, you know, they've gotten it wrong once or twice. Fake news. Just saying.
Fake news. Fake news. Fake news. It's all fake news.
You know? On Tuesday, visitors pressed against the fence for the buffalo's enclosure filming them with their "And some fathers hoisted small children on their shoulders for a better view. The zoo worker pampered the animal, brushing his hair to one side and hosing him down with water to keep him cool. His fans blew on him.
There is a resemblance to Donald Trump in its eyes, hairstyle, and skin color," said Mohamed Nassin, a student at Dakar. " Now he's eating McDonald's, on the regular. He's got a Diet Coke button now, it is. Uh huh, Air Force cow, let's go.
The Zoo Curator said Saturday, though, no official cause was given for the dismissal, one of the- Alright, it's a fucking buffalo with hair, dude, let's- Look, I had to fill time, okay? It's Wednesday. Thank you. It's Wednesday.
We're moving on. Here's the hostility. First word, last word, each sentence, go. Right.
Next, next, next, next, next. A Houston restaurant employee is accused of something. Stealing. Michael?
He stole, obviously. No, no. Make a Boots guess. Phil guess.
I think that he came in, he didn't clock in, and he handed everybody spoon instead of fork. Houston restaurant employees accused of sticking his genitals into open food items at a Harris County restaurant and possessing several videos of child pornography on his cell phone. And his cell phone. Oh, it's a double whammy.
It's a double. He stuck his balls in the mashed potatoes. Jelly. Found it would be that type of party.
Jelly. According to charging documents, Othello Lorenzo Holmes, 27, had been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography and indecent assault. Othello Holmes. It sounds like a very sophisticated man to be dipping his shit into the jello.
The picture does not look very... Oh, it doesn't look very... It was parents that had hopes and dreams is what that was. That's what that was.
He's not wearing a sweater vest. No, not at all. Here's my card here. The investigation was launched on April 4th after Harris County Deputy arrived at the restaurant in downtown Houston to meet with the restaurant manager.
The manager showed deputies a video of Holmes placing his penis in open food items at the location. How does this guy get hired is my question. How did he pass the interview? He worked at six other restaurants and nobody said he sticks his stuff in the stuff.
stuff but like so we're talking about six people have interviewed this individual and said you know what god damn it i don't know what it is about you but you're hired they just read the resume they didn't see the photo they naturally assumed sweater vest hire the guy othello holmes how soon can you start he reportedly confessed to putting his genitals in jelly stating he had a sexual urge However, stopped itself before he finished, let's just say. Oh boy, there was possibility of finish. He walked it back. He also admitted to having these urges frequently and has a history of sexual offenses, saying he has a problem with these sexual urges and needs help.
I attacked the bagels, I attacked the eggs, I went crazy. Now, while in prison, he gave them permission to go through his phone. Oh good, oh good. He signed a form.
Sure, go ahead, go to my phone, there's nothing in there. He just marked it with an X, what are you talking about? And that's where they found the child? Yes, yes.
He was equally charged with a decent assault and led to further investigation by the Harris County District Forensics Unit. Holmes reportedly gave written consent to the forensic analyst of his cell phone. According to documents, investigators extracted over 100 images and five videos of child porn. okay so this guy 35 years but wait a minute minimum wait wait wait hold the phone every villain has an origin story right right so like this guy was most likely a misguided youth right somewhere along the way nobody was able to help him right but because he made it past that certain point you throw him under the prison fuck with kids and find out that's my answer period i don't Don't give a shit.
He's obviously an adult. Right? Yeah, he's an adult. He's a grown-ass man.
Like, let's just beat him to death with sticks and just call it a day. I wouldn't give him 35 years. No. Sorry.
I don't care. What went wrong? Here's what went wrong. Stone that motherfucker.
That's my answer there. How do you like that? Way to shut that whole thing down, huh? Fuck with kids.
What if he was 17? And he was doing something horrible to kids? Yeah, like stabbing in the heart. No.
Come on now. No, no. He's not looking at child porn. What about just the jelly?
What if he wasn't looking at child porn, but he was just... And he had the wherewithal to sort of do an edging type scenario where he's not completing the process into the jelly, right? Well, you know, he didn't complete the process into the gravy. You know, as wild as it sounds, I feel like it's more forgivable at 17 than it is at whatever age this guy's at.
You know what I'm saying? That's true. I was sticking my dick in anything I could find at 17. Get that clip.
Make sure that clip comes out. You get out of the car in the parking lot, like, what the hell is going on here? You know? I mean, come on.
He's in the Harris County Jail on $500,000 bond for the pornography cases. Just put that, put that guy in the right room. They're not even worried about the jelly address. Yeah, of course.
The judges like to throw that away. That's the least of our problems. You just put him in the right cell and say, "You're not going to believe what we found on his phone. Oh, power's out.
Oh, sorry. " Like, you know, just wrap that up. Oh, the one guy that likes to kill many of them in the same game. Yeah, yeah.
Send that guy in. Put him in it. Yeah. Hey, we need you to notch up.
This is number four. Yeah. Keep doing what you're doing. All right, Michael, you have a video.
I do have a video today. I know we weren't supposed to bring it up, but you said we had one. Yes. Well, you said you weren't going to bring it up when I don't have them.
And this one was sent to me. From my dear friend... Can you send it to the studio audience? I'm going to, stop yelling at me.
From my dear friend, I guess I should incorporate David Morris as well, huh? That's what he said! Yeah. David Morris is in the house.
Let me see here, I'll carry the one. David Morris. Okay. Do you want him in a group chat?
Add him to Eminem Productions and really freak boots out to me. that's why i put greg in it there we go i was wondering what this was that said m&m productions i'm like that's where all the all the show stuff happens all right it's three minutes long so three you said two earlier it's i just saw that i said three it's a lot of watching a lot of watching well we can cut it we can cut it early but i just want you to watch at least the first 45 seconds of Okay. Is that a new group, Jan? Yeah.
Oh. Yeah. Well, David Morris is in there. Uh-oh.
Is there music? Educating Ipswich lacrosse players say one picture sidelined them from their final game. The picture appears to show them with cigars in their mouths, but they say the cigars are fake and they can prove it. But that didn't matter to their school, as WBZ's Mike Sullivan shows us.
Today, Christian Genekakis is at work, not play. The Ipswich Seniors, a member of the boys lacrosse team, a squad that's a win away from a state title game. Only following graduation, this photo of them with cigars is now keeping his team from playing. The crime and the punishment are not even close to each other.
It's going around. There's a judge and a jury and it's evil right now. After graduation, parents say numerous students were spotted smoking cigars. Christian and his teammates know the rules for athletes, the policies stating: students may not use, consume, possess, buy, sell, or give away alcohol, tobacco products, or controlled substances.
This includes non-alcoholic beer. His father, John, says the students asked him for help, by the way to participate in the tradition, don't violate these laws. Did they actually show us photos? They blurred it out.
I know it was blurred out, I didn't know if they actually showed it. Yeah. Okay, so... So, these two, these, these individuals, ooh, ooh, me and Greg, ooh, there we go.
So, this lacrosse team, they did a picture of them with cigars, we find out that their dad actually made fake cigars, he legit made fake cigars, he proved the fact that he made fake cigars for these kids, and they were in the semi-final game, and they had to forfeit, they canceled their game. Do you think this was the crime matching the punishment? Absolutely not, and I can tell you why. Tell me.
It states that the code of conduct for the team is they cannot use, sell, carry, possess alcohol, tobacco, or non-alcohol-like beverages. Well, none of those, would that fall in that category, because it's not tobacco. So, no, it definitely doesn't fit, because they didn't break the rule. I totally agree.
What about you, Palmer? I agree, too. If you follow the letter of the law, they did not do anything that was listed as not doing. Was the graduation before the last game, or was that just a photo they all took?
It sounds like it was the graduation happened. It looks to me like the graduation had happened, and then the game was going to happen. Gotcha. So, wild, man.
Yeah, for me, first of all, I mean, I don't even care if there's among cigars. I mean, you know. That was my next question to you, right? So, like, to give real relevance to it, if they were legitimate cigars, and it's part of, like, their carnal knowledge, they're not allowed to do this, and they went and did it, then would it be acceptable?
Well, okay, so first of all, I understand the punishment at that point, right? I understand, so if you're told not to do something, and the game is on the line, you don't do it, right? excuse me, so, yeah, especially because, look, as it's your senior year, you've been working your ass off this whole time to this game. This could be the last time you ever play this game, right?
You're going to the semifinals, right? You know, you could win the championship, right? I mean, that must mean a lot to these kids. So, no, you don't, like, first of all, bonehead move to, even if they were real cigars, bonehead, definitely bonehead move, and then to do the fake cigars, bonehead move, right?
Now, the other argument, too, is they talk about the fact that this is kind of like a tradition, a traditional thing, right? This cigar thing. At the school? I don't know.
But it sounds like, if you read, if you listen to the whole story, it sounds like this is some type of traditional thing. So, step one, bonehead move, right? So, first problem. Step two, me personally, I mean, I don't care.
It's not like, you know, it's like, hey, this is a celebratory situation, whatever, they're having the cigars. Okay, even if they're real or they're fake, right? from a parent's perspective right now uh step two if i if i know that this is going like a parent went out of the way to create right fake cigars yeah within the rule within the rule scenario right yeah okay if you're gonna go out of the way because you know of the guidelines that are And a fact right now, here's what I do, I take the, I let them do this, and I grab everybody's phone, I take one picture, I take one picture, it's on my phone, this picture is staying dormant until we are completed with the season, right? Because then at that point, you still have the image, you still, you did everything right, you didn't put it in someone's hands, you didn't put it in someone's hands, you didn't put it in someone's hands, you didn't put it in someone's hands, you didn't put it in someone's hands.
That could control the outcome, right? Mission accomplished, you checked all your boxes, the kids aren't exposed to tobacco, even though they're all probably sucking on pouches and zins and all this other shit that's going on right now, right? You protected them, you gave them the image, they go to the game, win, lose, draw, whatever, and you carry on your business, right? The other problem, too, is that when they tried to reach the authority of people that made the pull on this, guess what?
Unavailable. Yeah, of course. Well, because they were in the wrong. - I mean, that's obvious.
- Yeah, they screwed these kids. I mean, they screwed these kids. - Yeah, unjustly. - Yeah.
- So if they weren't athletes, it would have been nothing they could have done. - That's correct. And the guy says later on, he's like, oh, you know, the band members don't get punished, right? - Right.
Oh, would the band members have cigars, too? - I think that this is a tradition. - Gotcha. - So I think that there are other scenarios where this has occurred.
You know, the other thing, too, is it considers, like, maybe they're a really good team. Right? And maybe the other people didn't want them to advance. Mike, Mikey's football politics is grinding gears.
Dude, some, there was money on that. Because he has seen some shit like this before. Dude, I'm telling you, man. You know, like, I don't, you don't see it a lot.
Like, you don't see it a lot. But it exists. It 100% exists. I've seen scenarios where I was like, hmm, that was kind of weird.
Like, all right, just chalk that up to whatever. And then, like, something else happens. And then when you're at about five, you're like, okay, what the hell is going on here? You know, you're not, something's wrong.
You're either not, you're not calling down the line. You got, something's happening. My brother has had experiences with biased refs is what it is. That's, that's, that's really what this is.
I have. I absolutely have, or at least I believe that I have, you know, this, but like, here's the crazy part, right? So like last season I coached 11 teams, 11 teams, that equates to 11 games a week, right? So within a six week span, I'm almost at 70 games.
With postseason, it's probably close to 80 or 90 games. There was probably one game, or maybe two, where I saw the scenarios like, oh shit, this is slighted. Sure, you've experienced enough to understand the tempo. Yeah, I'm not coming out here talking like Phil saying, "Oh, you know, this is what's going on.
I saw this conspiracy on YouTube, and now I know it, the TikTok guys told me", you know? So, it's very possible in this scenario that that's what happened. Like, "Oh, well, you know, hey, screw these kids". They were too good.
They were too good. Maybe. Very possible, you know? Well, nothing makes a loser feel better than watching a winter fall.
100%. Oh, look at you. Was that in a fortune cookie at the 12-course meal? At the Peruvian...
I collect quotes. You know that. The fortune cookie... He's a quote collector.
Fortune cookie for you, sir. Fortune cookie for you, sir. Nothing makes a loser feel better than the winner lose. Winner, fall, yes.
You need to dust off your shirt, by the way, Greg, you're covered in a little bit of ash, especially around the mic, so you know, oh, there it is, yeah, it gives a good blow. You guys should just wear, oh yeah, grains. Yeah. So if they'd already graduated, technically, they're out of the rules of the school.
I don't know, now you're getting some gray area, the fact of the matter is, they weren't even smoking cigars. Right, yeah. You know what I mean? Or the dad quickly, "Oh, you guys got in trouble?
" Don't make them look like cigars. No, if you go down further, like if you watch that whole clip, he's like, here's what I, he explains exactly what he needed to acquire. He went to a tobacconist to figure out how to replicate fake cigars. Wow.
He showed receipts. He used like banana leaves and all kinds of other things. Oh, so he didn't make them out of wood. He made them so they look like?
Yeah. Oh, wow. He made them out of banana leaves? Yeah.
Wow. Yeah, roll them up. Wow. He fermented banana leaves?
Look, I don't know how he got there. I need to know. But he could prove how he did it. So much to a point where I guess the administrator called the cigar store.
And he said, yeah, no, he didn't buy any cigars here. I explained to him what to do. Wow. And they still, oh, well, now what do we have?
That's one hell of a tobacconist. He said they weren't cigars? Yeah, who's that guy? I want to know who that retailer is.
Yeah, let's call them. So he's going over and above for the non-customer. Yeah, I want to know that retailer. I'm not here to buy cigars.
I wanna know how to replicate this shit. Well, let me just stop from selling cigars for a moment and sit down with you and have a lengthy conversation with you about how to make fake ones. Wow. Yeah, it could be, it could be.
It's gotta be two guys. It sounds like that accent, so. Right, yeah. I mean, it's very, I mean, shit, dude.
Let me think how to make these, it's okay, here you go. I'm gonna tell you, that retailer's, that retailer's a boss, for sure. 100%. Tell me I'm wrong.
No, I'm good. No, you're right, we all said we wanna meet him. We want to meet them. You know?
I'm down over there. I want to know the process. Well, you take some banana leaves. That's as far as we got, Palmer.
You dry them out. Yeah. And then you roll them, and you cut them, and then you make a cigar. You smoke them, it tastes like bananas.
It's amazing. You get your potassium up. Right. It takes all them cramps you get from going up and down the stairs.
We're going to start a whole new trend. Banana cigars? These are banana leaves. Do you need to copyright that?
Oh, untaxed. Smoke your bananas. There's no taxes. Smoke those bananas.
That doesn't sound right. That's Phil's new movie he's making right now. " With Phil McGuffey as the banana roll. Which is why he's not here today.
Right. He's smoking bananas. Okay. All right, Cigar News.
S. retailers today after getting a small, soft launch in the Dominican Republic. Do you remember when he used to keep his birthday things in the trunk and he would never share them with anybody? Now they're going to all retailers.
Now they're going everywhere. Are we getting these? Do we have these? Now we're going international.
Called the Eladio Diaz 73rd Inversario Unforgettable Edition. Greg, are we getting these? Are we getting these? No, we used to do business with them.
They make really good cigars. I don't think we buy their products. I don't think that's true, but okay. I like their stuff.
We should get some. Because, you know, I'm in charge of that, if you watch the last show. This guy is such a boss. He smokes a Postana SBC every single podcast.
I mean, look at him, like a gangster. It's my second cigar of the day every day. You smoke the SBC. I do.
The Postana SBC. He likes to remind himself he's surrounded by champions. It's like, it's homage to you guys, what's it like being you, it just sounds so, it looks amazing, so rich, yeah, the only banded cigar I smoke is the one on the show, everything else is Postano Segundos, I don't even smoke banded ones on the show, I have those at the house, yeah, I was like, you know, those are the ones he throws at the dog, no, I'd like to, I like to podcast my day with some limited production, we don't, we don't have any Segundos of this, no, otherwise I would be smoking a Segundos, well, what about the Connecticut you start the day with, it's not a Segundo? Sometimes it is.
Sometimes I'm in a rush and I just grab it out of the humidor. He must be in a rush most days. I'm always in a rush. Super busy.
Very busy. Super busy. Very successful. Handsome and rich.
And Mama's favorite. And Ruckus' favorite. Oh, how was the movie yesterday, by the way? Yeah, how was the movie?
Oh, my God. I don't know if that's good or bad. He went to go see Michael. I went to go see Michael, right?
Okay, so look. Jackson. Yes. Listen, to tell a story about Michael Jackson, you must include his music in it, right?
It's definitely part of who he is. Right. There was an overemphasis on the music, for one. Well, that's why people want to go.
For two. There was no story whatsoever. The entire story was Michael being underneath the control of his father and trying to become his old man. That's the only thing to it.
There's nothing dynamic about it. And he liked animals. He liked animals. " There was no story, there was nothing to it.
It didn't cause you to question anything, it didn't cause you to think about anything, it was nothing to it, it was nothing to it at all. Just entertainment. And then my son is like, well, you know, that's because it's like the first part, it's like, you know, him as a child, there's gonna be a second part, I'm like, you guys can go see that on your own, I'm not gonna go watch that, because if it's anything like the first one, there's no story to it. So, wait, who picked the movie?
Them? Axel did, actually. The wife wanted to go see He-Man, which I think I probably would have enjoyed. Probably would have enjoyed more.
How do you not go see Scary Movie? If I had to pick three out of those three, I'm going to see Scary Movie. Greg doesn't normally go to the movies with Axel, so Axel picks the movie to go see, which is a story of an overbearing father trying to control his son. Yeah, but I wasn't.
I wasn't trying to control him. I allowed him do whatever he wanted to do. I just want to put that out just so everybody can know. Hey, so what'd you think of the story?
I mean, it's about a dad that really pressed hard on an individual son. Trying to control his son and make him do things he didn't want to do. Yeah, how did that make you feel? And Greg goes, "It was terrible.
I hated it. It didn't work at all. " "Everything was justifiable. " "He was just trying to help.
" "It wasn't that that was what the story was about. It's that that was all the story was about, and there were only like five points in the movie that were showing that. " So there was no context, there was no context to him as a person, other than the fact that he had this overbearing father, and he was trying to become his own man, that's it. No behind the scenes where he's like trying to make himself paler or something?
" Right. Yeah, nothing to the film. I'm sorry that that happened to you. Maybe she could go see He-Man.
Maybe I'm just predisposed. I don't like going to the movie theater. I just don't like going to the movie theater. Why not, Greg?
Did you sit with it on your lap the entire time, just in case? No, it's in my back. No, because it's like a dark and-- Scary place? --filled room with strangers that, you know, people have been shot in.
No, I don't like going there. Probably somebody that wasn't shot in that particular theater. Probably not that particular theater, but nevertheless. I mean, the last one was Dark Knight, I thought, right?
That was the big highlight? That was the last big one. It was a while ago. Was that 2003?
And it's expensive, and if you're gonna eat, what are you gonna eat? You're gonna eat 50 pounds of popcorn and a slushie. Amazing. Do you know how you feel after eating something like that?
Great, with the butter? It's horrible. I love the butter. They didn't have regular food, that one?
What, the shitty pizza? I mean... Well, supposedly, Epic here in Deltona has been remodeled, and they have all those lounge chairs now and upgraded food. I haven't been to that.
Well, there was decent chairs, I guess you could say. The whole joint is now self-serve. Like, they just give you empty vessels. Go fill your own popcorn, go fill your own soda.
Oh, okay. And this was $55? Yeah, the cups, they're $55. Insane.
No, no, I brought my own cup. It's fine. I'll just step right over here. It's good.
Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. Interesting stuff.
You know? Very interesting. Okay, Eladio Cigar has two binders, one Sumatra and the other San Andreas, both grown in the southern part of the Dominican Republic. And apparently Greg likes them.
Yeah, apparently. Rounding out the blend, the filler includes Barrel Age Tabano 2000, Corojo 99, Criolo 98, Corojo 06, and Piloto Cubano with the Corojo 98 coming from the southern part of the Dominican Republic. That's a lot of tobacco for a cigar. Well, maybe that's his thing, you know, keeps it complicated.
We're going to fast forward. Oh, look at you. A lot of editing in this episode. Oh, and then there's another whole other cigar.
Oh, wait. How much is this Robusto that makes a Toro? 5x54 Toro? Greg?
$16. $16? It's the birthday anniversario cigar. It's the birthday anniversario.
The ones he used to sell out of his trunk that now, because of you, he sells everywhere. Do you want to recant your 16? Oh, no. I like my number.
A firm 16, I'm going to say $45. That is such a fail number. A little too far the other way. But you can't even get a Robusto for $16.
It's $700. It's a $25 cigar. $25? And the Robusto is $5 less, it's $20.
Well, his average cigar is like $25. Well, okay, then he's keeping this at average price. It's a limited release, Robusto's particularly limited, they've made less of those. I'd pay 65.
A box is $270, contains 10 Toro extras, but one Robusto. Oh, it's an assorted box. That's interesting. It's a big box.
S. by Arango Cigar Company. , the cigars are sold in the Dominican Republic. Next week, we'll begin shipping to Europe and Asia.
Wow, now he's really selling these things everywhere. We sell these things everywhere. Yeah. No more trunk.
No more trunk. No more trunk. Wow. We've moved out of the trunk.
No more trunk. We sell them everywhere. Prestige worldwide. Why?
Why? They're not $16 or $75. Investors? Possibly you.
Okay. Moving on. Aganor's the Leafs, Supreme Leafs, Sampler. Terrence Riley.
What? What is it going on? They're making a sampler. Oh.
They're bringing back all the previous sizes. It's all the Supremes. There's a new Supreme Leaf sampler, which contains the Aganorsa Leaf blend in 10 different Vitolas, each of which was a past release, while most cigar lines are introducing in at least a few different regular production Vitolas, Aganorsa Leaf has taken a unique approach to Supreme Leaf with the exception of a pair of international releases. The company introduces one new Supreme Leaf Vitola at a time.
Once the Vitola is sold out, the company will eventually announce a new Vitola. After 10 years of work. That means that at any given time, there's only one Supreme Leaf Vitola offered for sale. But didn't they drop like back-to-back ones in particular years, like all of a sudden, and Supreme Leaf, like wait a second again?
Well, yeah, but they just, that's what I'm saying, they changed the size. Yeah, but it happened in more than once in a single year. Well, let's find out. I have a list here of the dates and times.
Let's take a peek. Okay, the Robusto came out in March of 2020. Okay. The Toro, July of 2020.
There you go. Right. The Corona Gorda, 2021. Alright, we're done, we're good, you already proved it.
The Capito, 2021. Okay, thank you. No, that was multiple years where they did multiple retolas. So it's a 10 year, done in five year.
It is a 10 year, done in five year. It's a 10 year, done in five. They made a Rothschild, they made a Perfecto, and a Gran Toro, and another Toro. You ever see that thing where the guy, the guy's like, "I do three days in a day, you know, I just wake up at 4:00 in the morning, and 4:00 to 8:00 is day one, and then 8:00 to 12:00 is day two.
The people that make minute rice in 59 seconds? No, that guy's special. That guy's next level. Makes minute rice in under 59 seconds?
Under 59 seconds? No, this guy's like... Just a little chewy. " Wake up, make 10 grand?
Yeah. Wake up, make, make, make, make about $10,000. All right, Atabe, Black and Delirious Travel Humidor Ships. Are we getting this?
No, I don't think so. I don't think so, either. We could ask, I think, but it sounds like it's... It's, it's an accessory, right?
It's just the humidor? No, it comes with cigars. No, no, it comes with cigars in here. Oh.
Yeah. Hmm. Travel. Harrisburg Scandam.
It's more than $16, I'll tell you that much. Yes, sir. Let's find out. Last year, Selected Tobacco released a second Vitola for its Atabe Black line.
However, it was only offered to two retailers. Just two. We weren't one of them. Was it one of them, two guys?
Let's find out. Okay. This week, the 2026 shipping of the cigar is shipping to stores nationwide. The Atabe Black Deliris is a 5 ¾ by 55 double Robusto.
Blend-wise, the Black Deliris is made with Ecuadorian wrapper. Internal blend includes Dominican and Peruvian tobacco. According to the company, these cigars were rolled at the Costa Rica, with the Tabaco De Costa Rica, before being aged for five years, in rooms lined with different cedar and French oak doors. In Spain.
Yep. That's out of bay. That's out of bay. Each 10 count box, which is designated as a travel humidor, has an MSRP of?
10 count? 10 count box. Greg? I mean, I like just saying $16, but I know that's not true.
He's going to use it for the entire package. Yeah, I know. It's even individual cigar. It's probably $400.
I think he's closer. I'm going to go $500. Ooh, you went the right way. $600.
God, $600? And 1,500 boxes are being released. The outside of each individual numbered box. Oh, they're all numbered.
Should I ask him? Should I call Oliver and ask him again? It's covered in leather with gold trim. Who are you going to sell it to?
Who would you sell it to? I don't know. I'm kind of intrigued to smoke one myself. Can we get them without the humidor?
No. Call Oliver and go, can we just get it? David would buy one. David, would you like one?
$600 humidor. He said it's hard no. What was the wrapper on it? Hard no.
I don't know. It was a long list. No, that was the other cigar. What was the wrapper on it?
Maduro. Costa Rican. Ecuadorian. Costa Rican, Ecuadorian, Honduran.
Eternal blends from Dominican and your favorite country of Peru. Peruvian. I mean, do you want to smoke it? I mean, I never say no to something that you just want to smoke, but like, if the rationale is that we're going to sell it, it's a particular type of customer.
Well, you can't sell it if you take a cigar out of it. You want to hear him telling me no on the show? Oh, this could be nice. Oh, you can't hear, you don't have anything.
I can never get to hear. It's always a little bubbly, though. We've got to fix that. " Can I get the...
Can I get a couple of cigars out of one of those fancy... Can you just send me the cigars? I just want to smoke them. I just need a couple of them for the show.
Will you reach all over with United Cigar Group? Oh, Oliver. I'm blocked. We're not friends anymore.
That was not nice. You blocked me. I feel like this is coop all over again. You should do a series of clips of all the people that you call and they don't pick up.
You know what's funny is we used to do on the Patreon where we would call a retailer where we would get reamed, right? " I've never heard of you. You're with who? Yeah, what?
I don't know. Oh, what a great segment. That's pretty cool. But we had to bleep out the names because we didn't want to get in trouble.
Yeah. " Right. Hey, it's boop! Beep!
I think a series of just all the people in the industry that you call that they don't pick up the phone. We can just do a series of beep, beep. Hey, that wasn't bubbly, though. Maybe you did an update.
Maybe it worked. The board did not update, but the app did. Oh. Who knows?
And the microphones were – we haven't had a problem with the microphone this weekend. Yeah, so far so good. Every step from the tobacco selection to the aging process to the presentation of the travel humidor was designed and created a truly extraordinary experience for the cigar lovers around the world, said Nelson Alfonso, founder of Selected Tobacos. Call Nelson, do you have Nelson's number?
Did you see an image of the humidor? Yes. Is it cool? It looks like, obviously it's bigger, but it looks like an old cigarette case that you used to put, you know, like in your jacket pocket, a little flat thing, just big enough for the cigars to fit in.
I'm going to text them. Can I get the black? But it's got to be bigger than that. Yeah, but it's cigar size.
But that's what it looks like. You know, like a little sandwich. Oh, it's cut out there. And maybe, you know, you put it in a big pocket.
Made of wood? No, leather. Leather. Ah, nice.
I want to try it. The Atabe Black Line was announced in 2021 originally as an NFT, a non-fungible token, and not a smokable cigar. Remember when that was big? Yeah, and now people are stuck with those and they're worth nothing.
It debuted as an actual cigar. Crypto market's tanking, oil's back under 80. The Delirio Svitolo is added to the line. Phil's working.
I mean, what's going on? The world is on fire. Where's the world going? The world is on fire.
What is going on here? What is going on? is here again david morris is back released again in october 2025 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the new hampshire-based retailer two guys cigars boom there it is since 2023 selected tobaccos has released the ritos once a year okay okay we're done talking about that yeah i mean you know what summarize mikey wants some greg wants to know what it looks like and um yeah i I mean, I'd be down for getting a couple, that's for sure. How did we go from one to smoke to a couple now?
Well, there's two of us on the show. Yeah. But it comes in a box of 10. Yeah, I'd get like three boxes.
Hmm. Three boxes at $600? Mm-mm. Fuck yeah.
Mm-mm. What's three boxes? $1,800? One box?
We're back to fucking chicken math again. I approved one, he ordered two, and three showed up. Oh, there you go, right. He's learning from your way.
I got the credit card buddy. Wait until you get done, I'm going to take your drink. Yeah, he's going to take a sip of it. Take a sip of it and put it back.
I just want to taste it. I'm not drinking the same thing. Yeah. It's time for the industry's game that's soon to be available in a home version.
What? What's the score? What are you talking about in a home version? com.
Oh, are we really? Yes. Interesting. The rules are simple.
We're going to have to send royalties to half wheels. That's actually a great idea. No, we don't. We're going to send them to half wheels.
Well, they send us videos. A series of cards. Now he's in. He's done added to the show one time.
Now he's part of the show. We can do what we want. Oh, is that how that works? Yep.
He's now part of the production team. Thank you, Mr. Minato. Players hear clues from a half-wheel cigar review.
Does it come with sparklers? Maybe. Can I read the intro, please? Yes.
Players hear clues from a half-wheel cigar review and try to predict the score before it's revealed. As more details are shared, the challenge gets easier, or does it? The closest guess to the actual score wins the round. Can you read between the lines to predict the score?
What's the, let's start, what's the score? Do you want to play along, David? All right, Mr. Morris is playing along today.
Let's start, what's the score? J. J. Fernandez Toro.
Cool. I'm unfamiliar with the cigar. I am too. Gregory?
Oh, 88. Okay, that's a good number. I'm gonna say 87, and David, do you get the courtesy of going last? 91.
Mr. Morris is in for 91. It's the moon over there, huh? Now, David, now I have questions.
Have you seen the review? I have not. He has not seen the review. Okay, 91.
Who reviewed it? Charlie Monado. No. Have you smoked the Amar before?
I have not. Okay. He has not smoked the cigar, and he has no idea who Charlie is. He's broke.
Yeah. Never heard of him. Mr. Minato.
Okay. J. Fernandez. It's in a Toro.
Factory, San Latino. Wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano. Binder, Nicaraguan. Filler, Nicaraguan.
Length, 6x56. It's round, and they smoked three cigars. Yesterday, it was two days ago, it was one. No movement, still 88.
Firm in the 88. I thought he meant he didn't have to poop. I've had no movements, 88. I'm gonna sneak up here to 89.
Mr. Morris? Sticking with 91. Sticking with 91.
The Amar by AJ, clue number one. The Amar by AJ Fernandez delivered a complex and evolving flavor profile, showcasing notes of earth, leather, popcorn, berry sweetness, brown mustard, creaminess, And even touches of Hosen sauce. Hosen? Touches of what?
H-O-I-S-I-N, Hosen sauce. And cinnamon. If you have to say Hosen sauce, you could probably stop. When the sharper elements settled down, this guy revealed impressive death and nuance.
This is still clue number one? Yes. Okay. Sorry, I was thrown off by Hosen sauce, so I paused.
Okay. What is Hosen sauce? I have no idea. I don't know, can't look it up, it's cheating.
Is it? You gotta wait till the end. I'm sticking with 88. 89.
David's holding firm at 91. He knows what hosen sauce is. He understands the hosen. Clue number two.
There's some hose in this house. Construction was generally solid despite a few issues. The reviewer noted that all three cigars were well rolled with no major draw concern on the cold draw. And aside from some ash and burn inconsistencies, there were no significant structural flaws throughout the smoking experience.
Of course, it's only aging. Only aging. 88. 88.
89. Mr. Morris. 90.
Oh, he moves to 90, ladies and gentlemen. Move to 90. Clue number three. The biggest drawback was the overwhelming sharpness and aggressive saltiness that dominated much of the smoking experience.
Combined with occasional tight draws, frequent touch-ups, and fragile ash, The lack of balance often masks the more subtle and enjoyable flavors that the blend had to offer. That makes sense. Hoosin' sauce is very, very salty. Yeah, so much Hoosin'.
So much Hoosin'. Hoosin' and Hoosin'. It causes the ash to be loose. Sticking with 88.
Are you Hoosin' or are you Hoosin'? I'm rolling back 87, original number. Mr. Morris.
I think I'm more than 86. Ooh, 86 for Mr. Morris. Drops all the way down to 86.
Getting a voicemail. Final thoughts. Yet again, I wonder how much of my frustrations Very salty. The good news is that sharpness could be reduced with some time in the humidor.
J. Fernandez. Something, that's a good news is that sharpness could be reduced with some time in the humidor. J.
Fernandez. Something, that's a good news is that sharpness could be reduced with some time in the humidor. J. Fernandez.
Okay, Fernandez, something that could make big improvements to the cigar's complexity. Was that the final thought? Yes. That was the final thought.
I'm going to stay with 88. Shit. Middle one, the middle position is so tough. I'm going to stick 87.
David? Ooh, he audibles up 89. All within like a close cluster. Okay.
That's nice. All right. We're gonna look at Greg real quick because I don't know what Palmer's doing. I'm checking on my wife.
No, no. I had to- So you got 88. 88. 87.
87. 89. 89. It's 87.
87. Oh! Where's my button? Hold on.
Hold on, hold on. Oh, there we go. Nailed it. I'm not going to lie, he made it tough when he threw 86.
I was like, shit. How many more has he hit on the head? Lately it's been quite frequent. Because I remember last time we discussed that.
But he threw a couple the last couple of days. Intentionally, you think? To get us off his, you know, so we stopped guessing on how he's doing it. Listen, you know, you used to support me in this, just for the record.
I just asked. All I did was ask. Let's ask. And now, now it sounds like you're buying into the conspiracy.
I'm not buying into the conspiracy. Yeah, he is. It sounds like he is. I'm just asking a question.
It's a simple question. You're going to upset Ruckus. She doesn't like the boys arguing. Yeah.
You're supposed to be, you're supposed to have my back. Just because I'm really good at this game. And I'm going to tell you, I almost had to throw 85. I almost did.
I'm like, but there's no way. I'm like, there's no way it went 85. But come on, I pulled it off the rip, '87. Guys, I'm just good at this game.
I just know this industry. He knows this industry. I do. Totally.
Totally. Okay. The epilepsy in our audience is going crazy. Like flashing images.
I have to put a thing at the beginning. I think at the beginning, careful, flashing images may cause epileptic seizures. No, come on. Okay, Mr.
Palmer, anything else to add? Nope, that's it. That's the show, I just heard a beep out front, it could be your boyfriend. It's almost time.
