Achp Episode 554 GiveMe Back My Jet Ski

Episode Summary
Mike Palmer is back from vacation and joins Mike Szczepankewicz and Phil McGuffey for a loose, banter-heavy episode of A Cigar Hustler's Podcast. The show opens with a long back-and-forth about where the Patreon plug belongs in the rundown, a shout-out to listener Matt Brueger for sending in the Murciélago cigars being reviewed on Patreon, and listener comments on recent episodes — including takes on fighters and celebrities using their platforms for political statements, the recent UFC card, Derrick Lewis, and Dana White's pay-per-view spending.
The news block covers the U.S. Embassy travel warning advising Americans not to rent jet skis in the Bahamas due to "rogue operators" linked to assaults and deaths (with Ambassador Herschel Walker cited), which leads into Phil's own cruise stop in Nassau, haggling at the Straw Market, and buying Havana Club rum. The crew also covers another sloth death at the Central Florida Zoo, Jersey Mike's unseating Chick-fil-A atop the ACSI customer satisfaction ranking, the first Shrek 5 trailer, Floyd Mayweather's bad-check trouble in Vegas, and a rundown of upcoming movies including The Odyssey, Supergirl, and Spider-Man.
On the cigar side, Kristoff announced the Mildly Pistoff Kristoff — a milder line extension of the 2016 Pistoff Kristoff, swapping the Mexican San Andrés wrapper for an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper over the same Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan/Pennsylvania broadleaf filler, made in the Dominican Republic. Powstanie Cigars then announced the 250th American Anniversary War Bear, a 250-count commemorative collector's packaging release of the 2025 War Bear blend (Ecuadorian Habano and Mexican San Andrés barber pole, Indonesian binder, Dominican and Nicaraguan filler), with a candid discussion of why retail partners get allocation before the brand's own shop.
The episode closes with "What's the Score," where the crew guesses the halfwheel review score of the 2017 Fratello Firecracker — a 3.5 x 50 Petit Robusto made at Joya de Nicaragua with a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and Nicaraguan/Peruvian filler — and Palmer nails the 87.

- And three, two, one, action! - Jeez Louise. Welcome to a Cigarsler Podcast, where cigars are just That's the starting point. Join me, Mike Palmer, back from vacation, Mike Szczepankewicz, and Phil McGuffey as we dive into the latest cigar industry, news, sports, current events, business, and whatever crazy stories are making headlines.
Whether you're a seasoned... Why do you do that? You guys excited? Whether you're a seasoned cigar smoker or just looking for entertaining conversation, expect honest opinions, plenty of laughs, and a few unexpected detours along the way.
On today's show we have a travel warning, Slothworld claims another one. Don't go to the Bahamas. Now we don't have to read the story, you want to just give up all the details when I read the headlines? Now I know what you feel like.
A new fast food king, Shrek 5 is on the way, Floyd Meriwether only deals in cash now. Yeah, because he's poor, question mark? No, that's not why. Oh.
But thanks for not ruining that story. I didn't read that one. Ben, I thought you didn't read the news except the news I give you. I don't know where I came across it.
I think I came across it today. He was on vacation. Things changed. Hey, I'm on vacation.
Ben, in cigars, Kristoff is only slightly pissed off. We have a new 250th anniversary cigar for you. Whoa! And then Crown Heads is going to the moon.
And finally, we have a what's the score. Yeah. But first, Michael, what are we smoking on the Patreon this week? You know, I'm surprised that you'd asked that question, because you didn't mention Patreon at all on the last two episodes.
Yeah, we did. No, you didn't. Okay. You didn't.
All right. You're telling me it's in that verbiage? Because I didn't hear it. No, it's not in the verbiage.
We didn't sever it, because one day I forgot to send him the verbiage, so I read it through. Okay, and it didn't say it there, right? All right, well, that's the promo for CHPod. Oh, is it?
Yeah. So I don't mention the Patreon here right now? Well, you do, but that's not where it goes. That's not where it goes?
It can go anywhere you want again. You can just put it anywhere we want? Sure. I don't ask you, how do we get some SCH Pod swag and where do you hear the reviews?
I ask you, how do we get some SCH Pod swag? You throw it in. That's your choice. Hmm.
Hmm. Interesting. Yes. But that's been the way.
Well, that doesn't mean that's the rule, just because that's the way you do it. Is everybody hangry today? It seems like the standard. Apparently, I don't know what he came in all wound up.
It seems like the standard. I don't understand. Both of you. It seems like the standard.
" and... I'm just curious why you did it because you do it every day. No, I'm talking about Palmer. You're talking about me, not you.
You just said Patreon to me, though. " Yeah. Because I want to emphasize it because they were sent in by a listener, Matt Brueger. Yeah.
Okay, but like... Thank you, Matt. So I wanted to make sure I said his name to get him credit for it. Oh, so this is where I mention it.
Thank you, Matt. No, this is where I just... Oh, it's not where I mentioned it. This is where I just mentioned it.
I called attention to it so I could say his name. Well, so now I can just brush it off and you can mention it later? Okay. Because we're supposed to mention it now.
Thank you, Matt. Well, not supposed to, it's just where you've chosen to do it. That's where it's always been. Okay.
Thank you, Matt. Like and subscribe, we're reviewing and listening to this show. We even got the snap in. He even did the snap for you.
I saw, I saw, I saw. I liked the whole "ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta" that you guys did. Really, though? Yeah.
Yeah, I listened to the show. Oh, good. Yeah. I listened to the show, Phil.
Perfect. I appreciate that. It's more critiquing than listening, but okay. Well, then I went to go get the download for, um, uh, hold on, hold on.
Uh, Phil gets stuffed at Triple G's. I was going to get that show. I was looking for that video as well. Oh, I heard good things about it.
It got rave reviews. Oh, I didn't know you're into that type of thing. Only when you're on. Yeah, we're, we're always supporting your movies.
Yeah, we tend to help you. You know, I'm unbiased. Right. You're one of us.
I want to support you. If we have to watch those, If there are shows that support you, we will watch them. I know that you need more views. You know what I like?
I like that Greg's actually watching the show now. It took him how many years? Does he watch? That's what he says.
He has said that several times. Yeah. " Oh, he does? Yeah.
Good. Eight years. I think, really, his wife likes to watch the show, so he's forced to watch it with her. You think so?
I mean, she went to the cup really bad, so... He's a big fan. Right. com for all your chpod swag, where you buy one, you get the second one, 40% off.
Spend $100 or more, you're gonna get free shipping. com, a Cigar Hustlers podcast. Wasn't mentioned at all in the last two episodes, or maybe it was casually mentioned. But listen, we're gonna have some, we always have reviews on this, on this Patreon.
We're gonna be reviewing this. com i'll cigar host podcast if you buy for the pay for the whole year you're gonna get 10 off some comments from the show come on mikey's mom i didn't see her I've come through lately. Ah, let's see here, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo. You'd think you'd have this prepared.
I was just thinking, I mean, this is where it goes every day. At BruceCox8216, completely different vibe without Stepan Cabbage, not on the show, I wanted to hear his take on Michelle Obama. Oh, that's an easy take, I got you, no problem. Listen, I don't respect any political views from any fighter, I just want to see you beat the shit out of each other.
Everything else you can just shut up about. I don't care. I just don't care. It's just like an actor, you know, when you win the Oscar and you're like, and by the way, I don't care.
You just do your job and just say, hey, thanks so much. I appreciate this. I worked hard, whatever. Right?
So, that's where I'm at with that. I don't, I don't really give a shit. You think that guy Hokit's smart enough for a political view? I think it's just a mic game.
That guy is like, he is like the love child of Macho Man Randy Savage and Stone Cold Steve Austin, is what he is. He's kind of fun to watch, but then you gotta open your fucking mouth and say something stupid. Yeah, I mean, there could have been something else. He wouldn't be controversial.
I get it. I get it. I understand the schtick. I get all that.
You know, but the reality is that I cannot stand anybody that gets on a podium and that's, you know, in that kind of realm as far as a fighter or an actor, musician. Like, you spent 10,000 hours mastering a guitar. How do you feel about politics? I don't give a shit.
Same with sports. Like, you're, you know, like, whatever. That's not the platform. At that moment, I don't think that that's the platform.
And I don't care what side you're on. It's just tacky. It's just tacky. So we tried to make a joke, or whatever, or a political stance, and it's weak, is what it is.
It's weak. That's how I take it. So, thanks, Bruce. Came in full today.
Ready. Well, you haven't been able to voice your opinions in two days. Fired up. Yeah, and it's like, and I'm listening to you guys, and it's like, it's like Matthew McConaughey in that movie, you know, where he's yelling at himself and he can't do anything.
That's how I felt. Oh my God, I need to get back. We did a good job. I think you did a great job.
Thank you. We did a great job. Yesterday's show was good. A little bit long on the Dana White thing, but there was a lot to talk about.
If you ask me, I think the previous show was better. Oh, really? Of the two, I like the Triple G show, and I didn't think that that would be the case, but he just kind of flows with you guys, and you instantly start laughing, and you loosen up, and you're funny as shit at that point. When you're loose, the show is great.
Well, he didn't come in yelling, so he didn't loose your show. Well, hold on a sec. He did come in telling us to do a lot of things, like fix my life, fix my camera. Oh, he's got a very, uh, yeah, very diva, very needy, very, yeah, yeah, yeah, fine, I fixed it myself, I'm like, okay, I was doing his, I'm sorry.
Yeah, but I think it's a family thing. You think it's a family thing? Yeah. Like for me?
No, like you and Greg both. I'm a diva. No, I'm not thinking, well, maybe he said the wrong word, but I mean, the camera's gotta be right, I mean, when you're in my chair. Well, he'll adjust his own though, well, Greg's like, I can't see the top of my head.
I mean, that thing's pretty technical. I mean, Mikey knows how to do it. Greg doesn't. Right, yeah, it's not fun.
Greg's not. Well, you tend to have to do it when you're not here because like I had to adjust his camera and stuff. Yeah, that was a little sloppy. Yeah, and I tried to move it several times and I still couldn't get it right.
Again, you know how to do it. You know how to do the camera. But like, the difference is that, I mean, I believe in a standard. I'll set the standard.
I don't expect anybody else to do it if I'm not gonna do it. Right, exactly. Like, that's the difference. Right, that was the point that he's going, my head's cut off and you'll just fix it so your head's not cut off.
Yeah, like, I mean, if I clean the toilet to a T, and that's how I expect it, it's not because I think that I'm not capable of doing it, it's like, you're part of the team, this is what you're supposed to do, I want it done the same way that I'm gonna do it, right? Right, that's the standard, not, "Hey, come rub my balls," or some shit like that, you know, like, no, that's not- Oh, he does that too? Yeah, Greg needs a good ball rub. Well, yeah, he was a little nervous after The Rock.
He'll do it. Yeah, he wanted his check after The Rock story. And he wanted to make sure he was covered. I get it.
So which one of you two? Well, he has two of them, so we both offered one. Oh, you guys both did one simultaneously? No, no.
Is that a new movie? He's got big hands. I couldn't get mine in there. Phil, what's that movie come from?
Well, Palmer's got a lot of arthritis right now. Right, yeah, my hands always hurt, so Phil did both. So you stepped in? He volunteered.
Attaboy, butterfly, attaboy. You spread those wings. Funny, it's what it's called. Greg spreads his wings, Which were his legs, and then he ...
David Hasselhoffman says, "Sorry, I missed commenting on episode 552. " Oh! He slipped that yesterday. I did slip that.
Yeah, I heard that. Not that we have one planned, but he's like, it would be me. I mean, do you want one? Do you want a butterfly-faced?
Whatever you want. Whatever the people want. What do they want? Butterfly.
Something with a butterfly. If you do it, we gotta do something for David Hasselhoffman, 'cause he's part of that. Yeah. You know what I mean?
Right, right, right, right, right. You'd have to send them a set of something, some cigars or something. You know what I mean? Sure.
So we could do that for sure. Well, I say that and then who knows as we get down this rabbit hole of life. We do need a new item. How many cups are left just out of curiosity?
I like two. Oh, nice. Better buy them. They're rare.
Rare. They're LEs. Limited, limited, limited. We're going to paint them red, white, and blue.
The last two are going to be super limited edition. 250th American Anniversary Cups. It's the Cerakoted 250 limited edition Cigar Hostage Podcast Travel Mug. Am I right?
Sorry. What was that noise? Am I right? I heard it pop.
Well, that's Hokit's thing. I'm sorry. Oh, is it? Yeah.
Am I right? Is that what he said? Oh, he did say that at the end. Or what do you think, America, or something like that, he said.
I think he should just hit the kai in front of you, you know, and I wish Derrick Lewis would have fucking, I love Derrick Lewis, I wish he would have knocked the kai. Well, yeah, Derrick Lewis is the legend. Yeah. Right?
But. I'm sorry, are we bothering you? No, sorry, just got some more stuff. The thing about Derrick Lewis is, yeah, he's the legend, but, you know, he's.
He's getting old. Yeah, he's the old guy, you know, and he definitely. Go to you. Oh, sorry.
And he definitely looked like it. I mean, he was gassed. I mean, you could definitely tell me. Well, he's always gassed.
That's the problem is that he can't survive. More than, you know, one or two rounds. Right. Because he's just massive.
He's just throwing haymakers. Yeah, he's just the fucking powerhouse of a person. Yeah. But, yeah, no, I mean, the new guy in that division is Hokut, you know?
I mean, you kind of saw all the divisions last night, kind of. Or not last night, but during that fight. Yeah. I mean, you guys spent a lot of time on it.
I was just excited to see Gagey win. I thought that was awesome. Yeah. It was a good card.
It was probably the best card I've ever seen. Yeah, it was good. Hands down. I mean, just knockout after knockout and two major upsets.
It took too long to get to the fights though. Like I took naps. Yeah, they had a lot of talking and the entrancing. Yeah.
It's like, time suck. And Dana White saying that, oh, I'm going to go broke for spending 60, not 6 million. No one feels bad for you, bro. You're going to be fine.
Yeah. You're doing all right, as far as I can see, so … There's something about … There's a Brazilian short here, and I can't read it because it looks like it's in … It looks like it's in Brazilian. Portuguese. Portuguese, that's what they're talking about.
CW6383 says, "Great show. Kearney always brings a different energy. " Thank you, C-Dub. I appreciate you.
You're a sweet man. He is. " So, you know, what's funny is this cigar came out, and it came out, it was announced at the same time the smoke this, trust me, was announced. Oh, yeah?
" And then he read through it and it's like, oh, short filler. I'm like, oh, never mind. Yeah, and that's the same thing. Not compared.
Like, you can't even, you can't, no, no, no, no, no, no. So, I'm sorry that it's not tracking. I got one for ya. Oh, and then Jason1911 said that merch plug was awesome, keep that duo going.
That was when you would talk and he would do the thing. I thought that was hilarious. Oh, the mouth move. Yeah, you did a great job on that.
Did a great job on that. " Ooh. One in the Chamber. One in the Chamber.
Starring Phil McGuffey. We should just create a fake IMDB for Phil McGuffey and just start listing these movies. Oh, that'd be great. Maybe a Wikipedia page.
Yeah, exactly. That would be stellar. Let's figure out how to do that. And then you gave me a little jab when you did this.
If you want to hear your comment riddle out on the show, go ahead and comment below. Did I point to? No, I may or may not say it. And if it's a dig towards me, I'm not scared to post it, 'cause I will.
However, just a lot of people like me. They like me. You love me. You really love me.
America, thank you. America, thank you. Well, apparently Brazil watches now, too. Oh.
Hashtags work. well yeah exactly right we should maybe translate those so that way see what it says yeah maybe it's not like a mad comment like i'm coming for you yeah maybe they're threatening our lives there's all kinds dude there is i own the bungee company can't believe you talked about it you are dead there's so many uh and you know what's funny is a lot of the angry ones you have to kind of decipher what they're saying because like the words are totally misspelled right yeah the english is - She's not correct. - Yeah, and I'm like, oh man. And then, you know, then you come across a really witty person, you know?
And then they say really hurtful things. I'm like, ouch, that's not nice. - So mean. - By the way, boom, I went this, intemperance, easy, brotherly.
I was in the mood for this, man, I haven't had it in a minute. Great cigar. - It's a good cigar, yeah. - Okay, all done?
- I think so, we're 17 minutes in. Alright, now the news. As you heard, there's a travel warning in the Bahamas. If you're planning a trip to the Bahamas, there's an important travel warning you should know about.
S. Embassy is urging Americans to avoid renting jet skis throughout the Bahamas due to serious safety concerns involving what officials describe as rogue operators. Rogue operators. That's his new movie, Phil McGuffey and Rogue Operators.
Buy this jet ski. Rent this jet ski. S. Ambassador Herschel Walker.
Is it the Herschel Walker? Maybe it is. I read it and I'm like, ooh, maybe it is. Where is it?
Where is it at? Bahamas. Oh man, I know that he was in some type of political thing at some point. I think that could be.
It could be then. There have been reports, and he's going, oh, I got something to talk about. Is the Herschel Walker? There have been reports of jet ski operators taking tourists to isolated locations leading to incidents involving assaults, hospitalizations, hospitalizations, and even death.
Wow. Officials say at least three rapes involving jet ski operators were reported in 2024. S. government has prohibited its employees from renting or riding jet skis while in the Bahamas.
It's the Herschel Walker. It is the Herschel Walker. Ambassador to the Bahamas, Herschel Walker. Yeah.
The Bahamas remain a popular vacation destination, but travelers are encouraged to stay aware of their surroundings, Use reputable tour providers, and follow all travel advisors. And only go to Senior Frogs. If you're heading there soon, only if it's approved, Senior Frogs. If you're heading there soon, it may be wise to skip the jet ski rental and choose another way to enjoy the island safely.
They always say you don't take the excursions that are not associated with the cruise ship. Of course. Yeah, I mean, you never know what you're gonna get. You know, you can argue either side of that.
You can argue the fact that they want your money. Well, yeah, yeah, sure. Right? And then you could argue the whole safety thing.
Right? I don't think that if you're a woman, it's in your best interest to go-- Oh, yeah, like a group of women. --to go rogue jet skiing without some type of-- Get in my car, I take you to the beach. No problem, ladies.
I love America. Come on, I love America. Get in the car. California girl.
Don't pay attention to the condoms that are on the floor. Those are the last guys. Ignore my ski mask. Can you hand me the duct tape, please?
Hasn't anybody ever seen Taken? One, two, or three. Yeah. Taken again.
Taken, Taken. Taken, Taken. Now we took his wife. So many Takens.
The TV show was terrible. There was a TV show made out of it. Oh, was there? Yeah, it was terrible.
You'd think they would have figured out the first time that they fucked that up. Like, hey, maybe we shouldn't take from this guy. You know, like different people are like, oh, challenge accepted, I'll take, I will take from him. Right, you killed my son, now I will.
Oh. He's asleep, let's go. Oh, he killed him too. We hear you have a set of skills.
So if you're in the Bahamas, would you rent a jet ski there, Phil? I went to the Bahamas not too long ago. Did you rent a jet ski? No, I didn't do, I didn't do any of that sort.
When you see these people, there's no way. like a crackhead here in Deltona going, hey. Jet ski's got duct tape on one side. It's missing a couple of registration letters.
Did you just say these people? Yeah. When you see these people. When you see these people.
Okay. When you see these people in the Bahamas. Just say the Bahamian. When you see these Bahamians.
I don't even know. I don't even know if they're really Bahamian, bro. It's all different types. Yo, you want to get on a jet ski?
Yeah. They're definitely not Oprah's. I'll tell you that. They don't look like that.
Oprah's? Oh my god. Yeah, Oprah owns like the whole island or something, doesn't she? I thought she owned Hawaii.
Does Oprah own the Bahamas? Yeah, she has a resort there and everything. Does she? Is that where you went?
I thought Hawaii. I thought she owned Hawaii. No, no, no, no. It's, uh, I forget the name.
Is it Sandals or? Sandals? Sandals? No, I forget the name of the resort there.
Does Oprah own the Bahamas? Oprah Hanna. I'm almost cringing typing this. It's Oprah Hanna it's called.
It's like Valhalla, but it's Oprah Hanna. Oprah Winfrey, The new media mogul owns an oceanfront estate on Paradise Island and is a longtime regular at The Ocean Club. You think she rents the jet skis? Maybe.
I assume she'd have one. Allegedly. I know she poured a lot, supposedly. She poured a lot of money in that place.
Oh, yeah. Oh, into sandals? I mean, I got news for you. If you're upset about The Rock's ultrasound in 24 hours, if Oprah Winfrey needed a jet ski, it would take about 10 minutes.
And I'm sure that they would be delivered to her. She's not going to somewhere. No, she's not going down to the port. Yeah, no, no.
Can you find me a fellow with a jet ski, please? Yeah. I'm going to get in this sketchy cab. Yeah, no.
No. Makes sense. Make it look sketchier. I don't, that one looks too safe.
Yeah, this, well, yeah. I really need, and film this. Right, film me, film me. Don't mess up my hair.
Uh, okay, so you went to the Bahamas? Yeah, I- And you didn't leave the buffet? What happened? Did you go on the jet skis?
No, I didn't go on the jet skis. No jet skis, parasailing? No, I did none of that sort. No, snorkeling?
No. So why the hell did you go to the Bahamas? Well, Tia, my wife, really wanted to go, and yeah, that's why. And that was it?
Yeah, we went there, we ate, they have the conch, so we ate the conch there. Is this where Phil Jr. was conceived? No, no, no.
No, this was the... This was only like two months ago, or three months ago? We're about to have a baby, and our life is over again, so let's do something. Oh, got it.
Got it. And just for the record, if I was having people over to my house, you would be invited. Thank you. You would be invited.
Thank you. Without question. Yeah, I gave him a... There's no employee...
Yeah, it was very hurtful. Yeah. Very hurtful. Yeah, I told Greg upstairs, I was like, man, why didn't you invite him?
Yeah. I was kind of wondering why he wasn't there when I was there. That's some cold-blooded shit. Yeah, I mean, my wife was going too.
Yeah, that's like almost as bad as going to like a theater event and inviting everybody else but you. Oh, yeah, yeah, same idea. Yeah, same concept. Same idea.
A theater event? Yeah. Yeah, like a singer. Like a thing at the arena or something?
Yeah, like Brian McKnight or something. Inviting everybody, but not inviting me and my wife. I took you to a suite. Yes, you did.
You did a couple of times. Yeah. I didn't get invited to the last one. I didn't think you would go to Brian McKnight.
Do you like Brian McKnight? I didn't enjoy the other two things at the arenas. Wait, hold on a second. Do you know who Brian McKnight is?
What difference does that make? I still don't know who Brian McKnight is, I went. Yeah, I never seen the Christmas orchestra thing until I saw it the one time you invited us. I just want you to know.
I mean, we always consider you for holidays if we're catering, if we're having people over, we invite you. Yes, you do, you're very nice about that, yes. I invite too. There's no employee divide.
Right, right, no, no. - Right. - I don't think of you guys are employees to me. - Yeah, well, we're not your employees.
- We're not your employees. - Right. - Yeah, you're closer to being our employees. - Yeah, and we don't pay you, so you're not an employee.
- Yeah, I don't get paid. - Well, no, you got paid that little bit. - Yeah, we just had that little poof. - Just enough to say he's an employee.
- Well, that was, but that was, yeah, okay. That's not really an employee, that's Mike and Mike Productions. - Oh, yeah. - Yeah, so you're not an employee.
- That's partnership right there. - Yeah. - Mm-hmm. Okay.
- So no, Bahamas, no. No go. Don't do it. Yeah, you blasted her, you know, just went hard in the paint.
No goalie. Yeah, you don't need a goalie in that time. I mean, she's already pregnant. Can't get pregnant twice.
You just make a mess of her. No, to be honest, I mean, you're only there for like six hours or something like that, like in port. It's not long. Was it just a one-day cruise and then back?
No, it's a three-day cruise, but it takes like a whole day. Oh, yeah, yeah, they go the long way. Got it. Okay, so you went on a cruise.
You didn't necessarily go to the Bahamas. No, no, no, yeah, it was a cruise, yeah. Okay. It's a little different.
It's not like you spent a week in the Bahamas. No. Right, yeah. No.
I looked for Havana Club because I like that, so I bought some of that. Some rum? Yeah, some rum. Rum?
Yeah, rum. And we went to the straw market. She wanted to go to the straw market for the kids. It's like a famous market.
It's kind of fun. And there's straw? No, it's like a straw hat, like that was the original. There's straws in my cabinet.
It's a big giant warehouse full of street vendors, t-shirts, hats, little tchotchkes, Bahama things, I like going in there, I like you haggling with them. Bahama things? Yeah, yeah, we do. Yeah, $2.
Yeah, well they'll go, this year it's $10, I immediately go half, five. Five. Oh, you pulled a Greg. Yeah, I always go half, five.
That's the standard Triple G Facebook marketplace approach. Yeah. You want a thousand of that? I'll give you 500 bucks, I'll pay cash, I'll come pick it up within two hours.
Right, and I have to debrief my wife before we're going to go, look, we have to walk away. Yeah. I don't care how bad you want it. And whatever it is, we're gonna walk away.
If we go down around the corner, you'll see it again in somebody else's place. Same guy, yeah. If you really want it, we'll get it there. Hey guys, if I go five, she'll go, no, give him eight!
And I'm like, no, you're ruining this for me! Right. I want to just negotiate. Right, I want to negotiate.
I might go seven. I'd probably be fine at eight, but let me just have my moments. Yeah, let me get there. Yeah.
Yeah, everything is negotiable there. That is true. We went one year, and it had burned down. Oh yeah, I heard about that.
The straw place? Yeah. So they built a new one, a much nicer one. This is where, and then that's when the raping thing started happening, the Jetskis?
I don't know. The Jetskis is further down. The Straw Market's broken. The Straw Market's not an excursion.
You walk off the port to the Straw Market. It's like a block over. They have like roofies at the Straw Market? You can probably find something.
Yeah, there's definitely people with roofies. Allegedly, there's not definitely anything. No, no, no, I saw the guy with his hand. You saw the guy with his hand?
With his hand. Yeah, because like when I said I didn't want to go on the boat then, he's like, okay, you want some of these? I'm like, what? I'm like, no, man.
The cops standing behind him, I'm like, yeah, good try, bro. Yeah. Not today, Diddy. Yeah.
Oh, he's got an earlier release date again. Oh, yeah? They've lowered it down twice. They've moved up a couple of months.
Yeah, nobody's watching, so they're moving the dates. They're reducing it slightly? Reducing a sentence. There you go, that's the word.
We can't take no one of these parties in the prison. Yeah, it's gotta go, it's gotta go. It's gonna be too much. The guest list is huge.
The guest list is huge. Ellen will not stop calling you. Oh my God. She doesn't listen to the show, there's no way she listens to the show.
I would love for her to comment. I'm not associated with that man. I don't even like men. Whoa.
She doesn't like men. I know. It's not like that's, you know, hidden information. What?
Are you serious? No, you have to take your poster off your wall. No way. God, I didn't see that one coming.
All right, moving on. Center Florida Zoo announces another death. Another, we lost another sloth? We lost another sloth.
Oh my God. Willow the sloth. That is over. After weeks of declining health, the Center Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens on Tuesday announced the death of Willow, A female sloth that had been receiving specialized care behind the scenes after arriving at the zoo earlier this year.
In a social media post, the zoo official said Willow's health has steadily declined over the past several weeks, despite daily care and ongoing medical treatments provided by the zoo's animal care nutrition and veterinary team. So they put her down. They had to. Yeah.
So I think maybe this guy knew the writing on the wall, like it's going to be catastrophe. They're all going to die. So that's why he pulled out instantly and said, hey, this is, we're done, we're closing and we're out. Oh, after we got the violation?
Yeah, before all of them started pelting off, because it sounds like we're almost at a hundred percent, where we're, I mean, how close? It's down to like five or six. Yeah, there's like five remain. Right.
Yeah, I'm sure they're getting great health care, too. I saw an article that they told how to tell if you've gotten one that is on the dark side of the animal acquisition section or whatever. And a couple of them were spray painted underneath, like the cover. They were spray painted?
Yeah, like a tan color so you wouldn't see where the hair was missing. Right. Wow. Wow.
Like the spray on hair? Yeah. Wow. So like whoever they get it from went, spray the hair under this one.
It's a little, it's a little bald. It's a little bald hair spray. Do you think this data cache is in the building? Data cache.
You can come sit down over here. Or you can sit down at the table, whatever you want to do. Do you think this sloth was like a little sloth because his name was Willow? It could be, I guess.
Maybe. It's just shorter. It had a little cape it walked around with. Yeah.
Yeah. You ever seen the movie Willow? Yes, I understand what you have. Everybody here got that, but not all of our listeners would get that.
All right, moving on. All right, America's fast food chicken chain has been knocked down from the top spot in a closely-watched customer satisfaction ranking. Chick-fil-A, which topped the Annual Customer Satisfaction Index, the ACSI, in 2025, fell to second place this year. Who took the number one spot?
Ooh, man. I'm going to tell you, first of all, I went to McDonald's yesterday. Yeah. And damn, I had some great customer service.
Like, they were spot on. Did you? Yeah. Over in, here locally or over where you were?
Yeah, no, here locally. And I was like, what is going on here? This is super impressive. There's one by my house where it's an upscale looking McDonald's with better service.
No, no, this is kind of standard in my neighborhood area, the one that I always go to that, you know, sometimes it may be good, sometimes it may be shitty, but I was just like, I was taken back, I was like, oh my god, the order, guy was locked in, like the whole thing, it was incredible. So you're thinking McDonald's? No, I'm not thinking McDonald's. Oh.
No, I don't think it's McDonald's. I think that it's Raising Cane's. Ooh, that's a good pick. Culver's.
Oh, well, at least you chose another chicken place. Yeah. Right. It's Jersey Mike's.
Really? Jersey Mike's claimed the first place with an ACSI score of 84 out of 100, edging Chick-fil-A's 83. Wow. Bro.
I don't feel like I get better service at Jersey Mike's than Chick-fil-A. Well, I'm not getting a better service than anything that says Jersey in the front of it. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying?
Like, it's not happening. You just don't like Jersey? No, like, Jersey is an A, you know what I mean? Like, oh!
Yeah, they can't even name their football team right. Right, Cigar Den? Right, Nick? You know what I'm saying, Nick?
The shift makes the first time in over a decade that the new chain has led the ACSI's quick service restaurant category. The latest study released Tuesday was based on 16,464 completed surveys. That's a lot of people filling out paperwork about chicken and sandwiches. Conducted via email between April 2025 and March 2026, the report credited Jersey Mike's with maintaining high customer satisfaction while rapidly expanding the restaurant footprint.
The chain is best known for its made-to-order subs and Mike's Way sandwiches topped with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, oil, and vinegar spices. Okay, whatever. What state do you think has the best standard for customer service? Oh, I have no idea.
Think of one. - I would like to think Florida, because we're a- - That's where you're from? - Yeah, well, no, we're a vacation destination, so you'd want to have good service, so people keep coming back and spending more money. - Right.
- But when you get down around Disney, it's not always a fact. - Sometimes, yeah. - Sometimes good, sometimes chic. - I already used that one.
- Right. Well, I was just doing it again. - What about you? What state?
You're like, man, like, this place is top notch. - I mean, the best place, I think, that I've been? - Yeah. Is there a state that says customer service?
I mean, Las Vegas has been probably the best. Vegas? Yeah. That's a good one.
Colorado will be my second. Colorado? Certainly not in New Orleans. They don't have customer service.
No. Not at all. It's out the window. Right.
What'd you order? Let me get the cheeseburger. We're out of that. How do you know?
Oh, because we are. Here's a hot dog. But you just brought that guy a cheeseburger. Yeah, but we don't have any more.
That was the last one. No, I'm not punching it. I'm not punching it. Why are you sweating so much?
I have to go on break. Yeah. You're not even working hard. Why are you sweating?
You smell very musty. What is that? Why can't you open your eyes when you're talking to me? No?
Okay. Tell you what, I'm going to take a little nap, you decide what you want, and just wake me up. Wow. Hey, still waiting on my water.
Hey, I'm still waiting on my water. We're out of that, too. Stop being pushy. We're out of water.
Isn't that, that's where Raisin Cane's originated from though, right? It did it? Yeah. That was a good guess, it was very clean, I like Raisin Cane's.
They're similar profiles with the Chick-fil-A, they got the person standing out there and they got the pad and whatever, you know, so that's why I was thinking maybe it edged them. But I got news for you, if I got to pick Chick-fil-A or Jersey Mike's, I'm going Chick-fil-A all day. What's the one over on Lake Mary Boulevard used to be at Burger King? That's Hot Chicken.
I like that one. Those are good. I love the fact that you could randomly place a fast food restaurant and he would nail it with like zero hesitation. Boom.
That's hot chicken. Manager's name is Bob. Great job. I drive a lot, you know, it is across the street from a Home Depot, too.
So, you know, the employee's been a little shaky, but we're sorting through it. Well, I like the, I like the place behind it though. Um... The Tire Kingdom?
No, I'm gonna say like Clean Eats, but it's not Clean Eats. Oh, over in the corner. The breakfast place? No, no, no.
It's... Good Eats? Maybe it's Good Eats. Semi-health food.
Yeah. Oh. Yeah, that is good. We need one of those over here.
I'd go there more often. Oh, semi-healthy. It's good. You like order your protein...
It's like a Chipotle. Yeah, it's like a Chipotle, but not Mexican. Oh. Okay.
They have like sweet potato noodles. Yeah. Stuff like that. Okay.
All right. All right. All right. Moving on.
Uh, Shrek, Fiona and Donkey are back for a new fantastical adventure in the first trailer for the next year's Shrek 5. Shrek 5. Shrek. Oh, what a relief.
I was worried. Was it the last one? The last one? No, Eddie needs more money.
Donkey. Universal release Shrek 5 trailer Tuesday, more than a year ahead of its release on June 30th of 2027. A year ahead. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz all return as the voices of Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona.
They joined by Zendaya, Saturday Night Live comedian, Marcelo Hernandez, and Skylar Gizmondo, as Shrek and Fiona's children, Felicia, Fergus, and Farkel. Alright, whatever. It's a year away. Are you excited about any movies that are coming out in summer, not spring releases, but actual summer blockbusters?
No, but I wanted to make him Shrek for the thumbnail. Oh, God. So I had to pull the story. With the butterfly mask?
Shrek with the butterfly mask. Well, if you notice, all the ones he's been in, he has some type of butterfly on his face. He does, yeah, it's beautiful. I mean, Greg, his last, you know, movie poster or whatever, he could definitely be the show.
When you're talking, he's been on you. There it is. The fan art from yesterday, everybody wants to know who the Spanish guy is in the middle. Yeah.
That's Greg, it's Triple G. That's Greg, he's converted to Puerto Ricanism. Yeah, he's, you know. It's like when you, you know, change from Catholic to Jewish, he went from American to Puerto Rican.
Yeah, he's... What? What? He's an American.
Now he is converted to Puerto Ricanism. That's not racist. That's not racist. Still American.
Puerto Rico? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, but there's a look involved with both of them. There's a look involved.
That's stereotypes, not racism. There's a difference. It's two totally different things. Totally.
Two different things. Yeah. This is the first Shrek in 17 years. It's been 17 years?
17 years. You know what's crazy is with the live, with the streaming stuff. Right. And the YouTube, like everything's still so accessible, right?
So my kids have seen Shrek. Yeah, nothing really goes away anymore. No, and you know what's crazy is, I think Tears for Fears was playing on the radio, and all of a sudden I hear Just is belting it out. Oh, wow.
Yeah, like word for word, and I'm like, dude, this is incredible. What's that from? I mean, I know the song, but where would he have heard it? On YouTube, on something, you know?
He just stumbled across it. Well, these kids, these kids have access to a lot more information than what we have. It's wild. I'm like, this is so cool.
They're better at finding things than we are. Yeah, that's pretty cool. It's pretty cool. I mean, we came from a good era, though.
Did we? Yeah. Yeah, you think so? Yeah, '90s, 2000s, late '80s.
Juvenile, late '60s, '70s. Well, 1910s. The dinosaurs. Dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs are so cool. Dinosaurs were amazing. They were so cool. Did I have a pet dinosaur?
Dadacash knows. He had one. Yeah. Yeah.
You guys share, like, this is a, this is a bromance, by the way. I don't know, I don't know if you've noticed this, Dadacash, but you guys... He's so jealous, Dadacash. You guys are practically dating at this point.
I'm not jealous. I'm not jealous. I want you to be happy. You just bring it up all the time.
I want you to be happy. It's like, it's like getting two coins. You guys got two coins yesterday? Yes.
Yes. Are we supposed to talk, yes? Yes. I listen to the show.
He listens to the show, he knows. Well, I mean, you should know. Then why ask him? Because it's good content.
Where did you get yours? Oh. Oh, so apparently they did a contest where you could win one also. Gotcha.
And he won one, yes. And he won one. Yeah. Okay, well.
So the exclusiveness of the coin that John said we had. It's not as exclusive as you think? He's probably not as exclusive as we probably. He's pretty good at the whole razzle dazzle thing.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's very good. Well, he actually pulled mine out of my ear. Did he?
Yeah. I said it, poom. He went, poom. So, no, I mean, like, you think I care about any of that stuff?
If it makes you guys happy, I don't, I'm not the guy who wants the stuff. He's gonna get you one. It's okay. I don't need one.
I understand. I just want to win. I don't care. Well, if you win, you get a coin.
I don't give a shit. You win, you get a coin. I don't care about any of that stuff. I'll build a badass Hoon & Young sampler pack for one of you, you're gonna love it, like, it means, you know, like, that's where I'm at, 'cause I can't give it to you guys, 'cause you already got one, so.
Another 13 Nives. Another what? 13 Nives. Yeah, 13 Nives all over again.
Yeah. You've been texting me about the story that we're gonna get to shortly. So is there any blockbuster movies you're excited about? 'Cause I'm excited about a couple.
I haven't seen anything, I don't know, is Spider-Man coming out this summer? I'm sure. I'm sure. Because they've been talking about it.
The only one that I really want to go see is the Matt Damon one. Matt Damon. Go to you. What's the one?
I don't know what the one is. I don't know what Matt is. I forget what it's called. Born Ultimatum Supremacy Identity?
No, no, no. It's the one back in the old, old Viking time or whatever. Like the Odyssey? Is it Odyssey?
Yeah, I think it's Odyssey. They're doing the Odyssey? Yeah, I want to see that one. Matt Damon's in there?
Yeah, isn't that Matt Damon? Matt Damon. I don't know. Is there anything out right now that's any good?
No. I was going to go to the movies, and my son said there's nothing out. You know, I was kind of excited to see Supergirl. That's coming out.
Yeah, but it's not out yet, though, is it? I think it comes out in like two weeks or something. Oh. Because the way that they portrayed her in the last movie, she was this drunk kind of just not.
The short-haired one in the Flash movie? No, she was in the Superman movie. Yeah, Superman. Oh, I didn't see that one.
She didn't give a shit. She had this dog that she just kind of pawned off on Superman. That was chaos. Like a bad girlfriend?
Well, but it's, no, it was more like, it felt more like a daughter situation to him, like it was the teenage years, and like she just kind of strolled in, checked what's in the fridge, made a mess of the fucking house, and then left. I was like, that was a cool, I dug that, I thought that was badass, like that's a great perspective of a superhero, like very humanizing, right? Instead of making like this, ha-ha, like I am so- Right, didn't do anything wrong. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
She comes in and cleans the house. Yeah, yeah, she came in and it was a- she was a disaster when she walked in, she was a disaster when she left. I'm like, that's pretty dope. It's almost like Deadpool, you know?
Deadpool's a complete disaster. So, like, I think that that's gonna- I think that that's gonna do well. Yeah. I haven't seen- so I haven't seen a lot of previews for a lot of movies on TV at all.
But I don't watch regular TV, I guess. Is there even regular TV anymore? Matt Damon is in The Odyssey for 2026. Okay.
Yeah, no, there's still cable? Like cable? Is that what you're talking about, Palmer? Well, like ABC, NBC, CBS, they show good shows.
I mean, I guess I try to pick them up on Hulu. I read that Disney is buying Hulu and doing away with it. Really? Really?
Well, no, it's a merge. It's gonna merge in, right, so there'll be no more standalone Hulu. So if you have Hulu, either you have Disney, or you don't get to see that kind of stuff anymore. Well you can do that now on the Disney app.
Right, there's like a twofer. Go on the top and pick Hulu or pick Disney. Right. " Jax wants to see a scary movie.
Is it Scary Movie '77' or something? It's like a funny rip-off. No, no, I know what it is, but I mean, they've done it. We started to watch it with Mommy in the room.
Didn't end well, I had to shut that down. Yeah, I could imagine. Had to shut that down. As soon as the boobs ran across the screen.
" He's a clown and he destroys people, he dismantles them. No, no, he's got a white face with a black eye. Oh, the little hooked nose on him. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And he just recently died in real life. Oh, did he really? Yeah. I didn't know that.
Clint loves this guy. And he had a good haunted house at Universal. Right, right. I can't think of his name.
Didn't he start out on America's Got Talent? Jocko? Is it Jocko? It's definitely not Jocko.
I know who you're talking about. I just don't know his name. Horror Movie Clown. I'll figure this out.
I'm going to get this. Horror Movie Clown. Black and White Clown. Terrifier.
Oh, definitely not Jocko. Terrifier. Not Jocko. So yeah, so he was dressed up as Santa Claus in the beginning of the scary movie and he's giving out party parties to people.
And then one of these kids grabs a set of testicles, and Jax and his buddy lost it. They started laughing so loud. " I'm in trouble. Don't watch The Boys with him, then.
Don't watch that. Oh, that's definitely not happening. Yeah, no. One of the superheroes has a giant, and he just flings it around, hitting people.
Yeah, that's not happening. " They showed it? Yeah. " Oh, boy.
It was a bit much. It was over the top. No blood or anything, very clean birth. Is it J-Lo's birth?
No, no, it's a J-Lo's birth. Oh, my God. She is in a very small bikini for about 10 minutes in the movie that... I'm sure she's...
that whole Vegas thing is going all crazy too right now. Right. All right. Well, we're in 45 minutes, so let's...
Oh! Well, you want to skip the box here, Floyd Merweather needs to go to jail? Yeah, let's skip it. All right.
He wrote a bad check. $200,000 in Vegas. Whoop-de-doo. Big shocker.
Well, it was a year ago. He kept saying, "I'll pay, I'll pay, I'll pay," and then he went, "You didn't pay," and now they called the police. Yeah. Would you take a post-dated third-party out-of-state check?
That's why you gave us the first time. Absolutely. All right, I'm fast-forwarding, fast-forwarding, fast-forwarding. Do you have a video?
No. Sorry, I know I'm not supposed to ask, but it sure would help right now. Really? Cigar News!
Christophe announces a mildly pissed-off Christophe. Christophe? Mildly Pissed Off Christophe. Well, you're familiar with the Pissed Off Christophe.
Spider-Man comes out July 31st, brand new day. Yeah, I'd like to see Spider-Man. Was that a real cigar that's available? The Pissed Off Christophe?
Yeah. Yes, this is the slightly Pissed Off Christophe. There's a new Minions, there's Jackass, there's Moana. Nothing good.
Oh, I want to see the Jackass. How? Nothing good? Nothing that interests me.
New Minions? Hmm. Cartoon. I'm kind of past the cartoon, it's a little old.
Ouch. They're pretty funny, though. Mmm. Mmm.
Mmm. Mmm. Mmm. Mmm.
Christoph has announced plans to release a milder version of the Pissed Off Christoph line, aptly named the Mildly Pissed Off Christoph. Young Washington. What, Young Washington? Yeah.
A movie about George Washington when he's younger? Yeah. That sounds terrible. The Odyssey.
Yeah, of course. Are the Odyssey's out now, or it's coming out soon? No, it's coming out. Palmer lived that era, so.
Right, I mean, we used to go to school together. Yeah. I'm sure it will not be accurate. We used to come to school.
The New Line Extension uses an Ecuadorian-grown Connecticut seed wrapper in place of the Mexican San Andreas wrapper on the original, while the binder and filler use the same Indonesian binder, and Nicaraguan and Pennsylvanian broadleaf fillers are used in the current Pistoff Kristoff, which debuted in 2016. The cigars are made at Tablicalera Von Ekman SLR in the Dominican Republic. Mhm. Uh, when the name originally came out, somebody wanted to call it the Pistoff Kristoff, spelled P-I-S-S-E-D-O-F-F.
Pissed Off? Yeah. He didn't like that because it was vulgar so he made it the Pissed Off, P-I-S-T-O-F-F. Well, it matches the Christoff.
Christoff. Right, right. Well, that's why he did it. He didn't want to use the vulgarity of the Pissed Off.
You think so? Yeah, it was in the article. It just sounds more, I mean, like, okay, there's a bunch of stuff in these articles. You know, we get to sift through it.
I've met him once. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy. " Well, he didn't swear a lot or anything. He wasn't vulgar by any means.
Is somebody bubbling? a little bit you can hear it is this mine it's yours yes mine is smaller i have the test one i know i looked all right the red bull um after a few days starts to oh you said don't wash it out you'll drink it though i just left it just follow the orders follow the orders you're right so for immediate release that was it the the that was it for the christoph the pissed off christoph's It's a milder cigar. It's a little Connecticut. It's a little Connecticut.
It's not as strong as the Pissed Off. It's just mildly Pissed Off. Pop. I'm here and popping.
Yeah, me too. Like a crack. I'm telling you, dude. I'm gonna draw.
I'm gonna... We're gonna... Is your light on your microphone not blue, Palmer? Yeah, it is.
It's just covered up by the thing. Oh, I just can't see it. Is it green? It's blue.
It's green at the bottom. Blue means it's over here. It means it's hooked up online. There are different types of ways to have this transmit into the box.
We're on Bluetooth, you mean there's like another, like there's a frequency of Bluetooth? Correct. It didn't give me any frequency options when I turned it on. If you look, there's ways to click through it, I guess.
Oh, like on the buttons, on those little boxes? Well, how do you know which one you're on? Because there's no window or anything. I don't know.
Unless you plug in the transmitter. Two beeps twelve. Oh, it could be, what did you say, tell them we didn't use the transmitter? That could be right, 'cause we don't use the transmitter.
Hmm. I don't know. I know what I looked at, and I think it solves the problem. Because when you plug it in, it has to be in the charger.
Well, what's also kind of common, too, is that Wi-Fi and any other type of Bluetooth, any of that other stuff, could get in the way of it. Oh, I'm sure, yeah, yeah. I mean, we've got, what, three phones in here, a couple of watches at any given time. Well, four right now.
This whole room is hooked up. Right, four now. Yeah, right, plus that thing, whatever's going on over there, the TV over here, right. So.
It's a technological nightmare. We may upgrade. And then it's lapels again. Lapels again opposed to these?
Yeah. What's the difference? This is a lapel. Yeah.
These look really cool. I'm sure they do. Yeah. And you find out we have a little bit of money saved up.
They're about 1,200. Are they the same size where the footballs and everything fit on them? No, no. The transmitter's about this big and it's like media quality.
Are they Bluetooth also? No. Well, I'm trying to think because right now we don't hook the transmitter up. No.
Because we couldn't figure out how to hook the transmitter up. This is, it has a transmitter and it plugs right into that XLR. Oh, the XLR thing you said. That's why we did it.
Yeah, buddy. Boots, you may no longer have a microphone. They still have headphones, though. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's the good news. And you have your camera, so, you know. Yeah, so you can just... You can hold up signs.
Yeah, you can write stuff. Actually, you know what, that'd be so funny. Alright, anyway, for immediate release, Powstanie Cigars announces... Can you hold up the prompt?
I sure can. The 250th American Anniversary War Bear. Commemorative collector's packaging honoring America's 250th Anniversary from Del Cone of Florida, June 2026. Powstanie Cigars is proud to announce the release of the 250th American Anniversary War Bear.

I am, yeah. My phone's going, I mean, the press release just went out today. My phone's over here going off. " Well, I think Mike released it in the group, so I think a lot of people have seen it.
I saw it this morning. Did you release it in the group? I posted it in the Powstanie Mafia. I wanted to post it in the Powstanie Mafia before you did the press release.
Gotcha. Because I wanted them to see it first. Gotcha. Yeah, I saw it this morning.
I was like, man, that's pretty cool. Yeah. We sort of joked about it on the show. Sort of.
Last week? Yeah. Well, we gave it like a little teaser. Well, this is entirely your idea.
Well, thank you, yes. Yeah. Thank you very much. It's entirely your idea.
It's cool. It's cool. It turned out well. When you said it, I was like, huh, that's not too bad.
" So, yeah, no, you get the credit on this one, dude. Thank you. Absolutely. Good call.
When, are they going to be available upstairs here as well? I don't know. You don't know? I mean, it depends.
We're making 250 of them. Yeah, there's only 250. So, the way that it works is the way that it will always work. We will always take care of our retail partners first.
Right. And if the demand exceeds what we have available, No, we won't have them. It'll go only to our retailers. That's something that we've always done, that's something that we're going to continue to do, it's never going to change.
That is the way we do it. Yeah. And, you know, I always liked that question, like, but you're a retailer. I was like, I am.
I am. I'm a retailer. And I'm going to protect my brand by giving it to you first, right? Now, if you say, hey, brand is not worth it anymore, then I can take the field, right?
Right? Or if we have inventory enough to cover it, then we'll take the field. But we'll never deep discount it or anything like that. We will do everything we can to protect the brand.
Right. You got a lot of ash on you for some reason. Do I? Yeah, like, I don't know what happened.
I didn't even see any of it. Did he sneeze? Maybe when you were going back and forth with the box. Yeah, that's better.
Is that better? Yeah, that's better. Thank you. Okay.
All right. Are we done? I'm excited about it. I'm excited about it.
Yeah. All right. Time for the industry's favorite game. What's the score?
Players hear clues from a Half Wheel Cigar review and try to predict the score before it's revealed. As more details are shared, the challenge gets easier, or does it? The closest guess to the actual score wins the round. Can you read between the lines and predict the score?
Yeah. Just pause for charging. Well, it was running the entire episode yesterday. Because we had one behind Carney, one behind him, and we tested it to see if it would work, and we couldn't turn it back on.
I don't know how I feel about you using my sparklers for other people. Carney was very excited with it on. Yeah, I know. He was, yeah.
I did the same thing when Greg was on, too. Yeah. I don't know. I think it should be a lot.
You'll be fine, you'll be fine. I think that the fireworks need to go away. No, what fun is that? The people like the fireworks.
We are the number one show with Piratechnics. They don't get a double. Take that and just be happy with it. Okay, I'll tell you what.
How about we meet halfway? We are. They don't get a double. No, how about we meet halfway?
No, I already see where this is going. How about I get to determine who gets the sparklers for that day? I already saw where that was going. Oh, no, no, we still get them, but he's going to decide who gets them.
Yeah, not us. Well, I don't get them anyway. What do I get? It's either if you're on and somebody else is on, I'll pick whoever.
Right. You know, if it's you in Triple G, I'll pick whoever. All right. I don't think it'll ever be felt.
Yeah, that's exactly where I was going. All right, first cigar, July 26, 2017, Patrick Le Greed, Fratello Cigars, limited edition, the Fratello Firecracker. You want to go first since you just came back from vacation and rested? No, you didn't go first yesterday.
I thought I did go. Nope, you made Karne go first. Karne, you're the guest, go first. Yeah.
Oh, okay. Yeah, exactly. 85. 89.
The Cigar Reviews, the Fratello Firecrackers from Nicaragua. Factory, Fabrica de Tobacco, Hoya de Nicaragua. Wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano. Binder, Ecuadorian Sumatra.
Filler, Nicaraguan and Parú. Where you can find Greg every Thursday. Eating decompos, whatever. Eating guinea pigs, and having 12 course meals.
Three and a half by 50, it's a Petit Robusto, and they smoked three. Eighty-five. Eighty-nine. Clue number one, the Fratello firecracker delivers a well-balanced and involving flavor profile, transitioning from cocoa and chocolate the chocolate notes, into richer sweetness and black pepper as the cigar progresses.
The complexity keeps the experience engaging from start to finish. Wow, that was short. 85? 89.
I'm sorry, Dadacastro, would you like to play? 87. 87. Ooh, Dadacastro's in an 87 into the mix.
Clue number two. Very popular, they feel. Yeah, it's for Telecoma. Yeah.
That's Omar. Your taxes are ready? Yeah. He's an accountant, for God's sake.
He loves that. He drives me nuts. All these years, I thought he was a rocket scientist, and I found out he was an accountant. Wow.
I couldn't even say he works for, well, I guess you could still say he works for NASA. Paycheck. I'm sure he, you know, made it think that he was, you know. Anyway, clue number two, construction was excellent throughout the review with solid burn and draw performance.
The cigar also manages to provide flavor and complexity without overwhelming strength, making it approachable for a whole range of smokers. He has a whole range of smokers. 84. 89.
87. 87 again from his data cache. Third clue, while the fuse style cap is visually unique and fits the firecracker theme, it can be more of a novelty than a practical feature. The reviewer noted that it requires careful handling to avoid damaging the wrapper when lifting it for cutting, And it leaves behind a noticeable glue trail.
Additionally, the cigar's name may create expectations of a bold, powerful smoking experience that aren't fully realized until the final third, which could leave some smokers expecting more intensity throughout the smoke. Mmm. 84. 89.
86 for Datacash. Datacash lowers it to 86. Oh, The Final Thought wasn't there. Oh, great.
Oh, and by the way, you did Clue #2 twice. Today? Yesterday. You said Clue #2, and it was actually Clue #3.
Oh, the numbering system got messed up. That was my fault. All right, now we have to find this real quick. It's almost worse when I'm paying attention and listening.
Hmm. Very critique. I remember what the score is if you guys just want to guess again, without the Final Thought. No, I want the Final Thought.
Oh, it's already up. It's already up on half. Stop showing him the number. You're showing him the number.
He's got 2020 eagle vision. I did it. It's the half wheel with the bear. It's not on the screen.
Oh. My lord. It's so whiny. Do they have microphones in here?
It's so whiny. He is very whiny. He is very whiny. Come on.
Come on. I'm here. 2020 eagle glasses. I gotta put on my glasses.
I can't see. Michael, show a video. Here's a video of a person being thrown off a cliff. Talk more about that.
Don't show that video. We decided not to show that video. I didn't have to show that video. It's a terrible video.
Oh my God, yeah, someone just murdered this. It's wild, can you imagine? Would you go to someplace that said, "Hey, we're gonna go to the skeleton bridge"? Yeah, yes, I'd go to the skeleton bridge.
It's not called skeleton bridge, it is a skeleton bridge, so it used to be a bridge, and now it's just like the girders and a little bit of the top and stuff. " I got news for you, I'm not doing anything like that outside of the country. Yeah. You know what I mean?
S. We don't know if you know... I'm not, I'm talking like France, I'm still not doing it. Like...
, like, we don't know if Jimmy's having a bad day, the instructor. Yeah, you know what I mean? They're Jimmy, man, it's Pedro, and uh... S.
There are enough checks and balances here where I'm confident that things are going to be okay. There's like inspections here. Yeah. Yeah, that Keanu was in charge of.
No, no. Like, okay. He's got a point there, I guess. Yeah.
All right. The original Fratello blend has always sat well with my palate, and the expression of it, the Firecracker Vitola, is no exception. As I noted, it's a bit on the short side, and I can't say that the blend needed any additional strength to be enjoyable, But it does seem to be able to support the stronger second half for an affordable hour-long smoke that is flavorful and has a decent amount of strength. The Fratello Firecracker certainly fits the bill.
87 You can hear them. It's kind of gross. Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do. Watching it spit around in your mouth.
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da. Any time you're ready. We still have Mr. Dadacash waiting to give his score.
I know. I know. That's my problem now. Oh.
Oh. Felt good where I was at until we included Dadacash. Uh-oh. Hmm?
I'm gonna go 89. I'm gonna stick with it. Oh. Dadacash?
Can you, Mr. Cash? 88. 89.
Oh. Yes! We're back, baby! See, it's much more impressive when there's two.
Boom! Especially with Carney sort of sputtered yesterday. Boom shakalaka! Almost moved to 90.
There. If he went 90, what would you have said, Mr. Cash? And then we would have had to split the baby.
Yeah, split it. He got to sit on his lap while he did the fireworks. I like fireworks. Do those sparks, like, when they hit your hair, do they burn at all?
Oh, yeah. Yeah, right. I felt that. I thought they were supposed to be cold.
Yeah, exactly. I just don't cry like a baby. The machines are hot. I have to unplug them, let them cool off where I can put them away.
I feel it spiking my head. Yeah. Yeah. I don't care.
He enjoys the pain. Until he turns around the whole back half of his head's ball. That's not from the spikes. That's because I'm getting old, baby.
It's just falling out. I saw something about a supplement that can cause hair loss. I meant to tell you what it was, and now I don't remember. A supplement that can cause hair loss?
Yeah, that people are taking, working out and stuff, and it's causing hair loss, they found out. Well, you don't take supplements anymore, right? You take 75 different pills every day. I do take 75 different pills.
Yeah, but that's like, you know, red yeast and... Well, that's what I mean. It's something like that. It's not like, you know...
But that's a natural thing, right? Someone's taking Advil. Yeah, but you can only, oh, maybe because the red yeast is mixing with the yellow dye number five of the other pill, I think it's 5 of the other pill, and it's making his hair fall off. Well, TRT causes hair loss.
And I'm on TRT. Oh. Maybe that was it. What's TRT?
Test. Oh. Really? That causes hair loss?
I thought it was supposed to make your hair grow. It makes your hair grow everywhere else. Yeah. Oh.
Except the top of your hair. What a weird side effect. It's called DHT. You're hairy everywhere.
Oh, and he doesn't do his ball shaving anymore, so what do you do? Oh, he's trimmed it back, huh? He's not trimmed it back. Right.
Yeah, he's not trimmed it back. He's going full bush like Zohan. I got the new movie deal, so. Oh yeah?
Don't mess with the Zohan. He's got funny. The fizzy bubbly. The fizzy bobbly.
Fizzy bobbly. Fizzy bobbly. Alright, anybody got anything else? I got phone calls to return.
Anything else to add, Mr. Phil? Nope. We got the Patreon, right?
