ACHP Episode 560 We Will Set Her Free

ACHP Episode 560 We Will Set Her Free

Episode Summary

Mike Palmer, Mike Stepankevich and returning co-host Phil McGuffey open Episode 560 with listener comments, show-production talk (YouTube Shorts views tanking, Spotify growth, Patreon and CHPod swag), and the usual brotherly ribbing — including a correction about which Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust cigars actually come in a cedar sleeve (the regular Sobremesa Brulee does; the one Mike described did not).

The news block runs through a viral psychic claim that aliens will interrupt a World Cup match, a review-free recommendation of the film Project Hail Mary, the humanoid robots showing up at soccer matches, the upcoming final Jackass movie and Johnny Knoxville's injuries, another missing giraffe — Gracie, gone from Cedar Hollow Ranch in Leakey, Texas, with a $5,000 reward — which becomes an extended running joke about Agronosa Leaf national sales manager Terence Riley. They also cover an expanding listeria cheese recall tied to ricotta with one death and multiple hospitalizations, country artist Bailey Zimmerman's dropped charges after paying $16,000 in hotel damages, and viral bodycam footage of former UFC interim champion Dustin Poirier's airport arrest.

Cigar news covers Fratello's new Smooth and Strong — a 7x52 double-capped cigar that can be lit from either end, with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Indonesian binder, and Nicaraguan and Pennsylvanian filler, made at the La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic, packaged in five-count packs, following up the 2024 Vice Versa. The guys debate whether the dual-end gimmick has legs and whether Omar de Frias has enough peers around him to pressure-test blends and concepts. They then dig into an auction of cigars made for Hermann Göring, discovered in a Brandenburg cellar, which sparks a long tangent on where collecting historical memorabilia crosses the line.

The episode closes with What's the Score?, using Charlie Minato's Half Wheel review of the La Flor Dominicana Factory Press/Face Off by Christian Eiroa — a Honduran-made cigar reviewed after ten years of humidor age. Guesses hovered in the high 80s; the actual score was a brutal 76.

- Three, two, one. - Like he got confused from two. - Action! - What happened after two?

I had to move a lot of stuff here. Welcome to a Cigar Hustler Podcast, where cigars are just the starting point. Join me, Mike Palmer, along with Mike Stepankevich, and back with us from his new movie in the porn horror category. You definitely have to check a box.

He scared the piss out of me, a golden shower killer. Now we've gone to R. Kelly. Oh, he scared the piss out of me.

Phil McGuffey, welcome back, Phil. Hello? How was the show? How was the movie?

Did you get dried off sufficiently? I hope I'm making millions. I already have fan art, but again, it's maybe a little too far. Definitely didn't look like that title.

As we dive into the latest cigar industry news, sports, current events, business, and whatever crazy stories are making headlines. Whether you're a seasoned cigar smoker or just looking for entertaining conversation, expect honest opinions, plenty of laughs, and a few unexpected detours along the way. It could be a new detour along the way also. Oh, and Mikey opening his drink.

Slid that in. On today's show, Soccer & Aliens, another Missing Riley, Don't Eat the Cheese, an update from Bailey, our friend Bailey. Yeah. And then in Cigars Fratello is Shipping, we have Cigars from the Fatherland, and it's not just a pariah.

And then a What's the Score? But first, Michael, how do we get some of that CH Pod swag? And what's this Patreon that everybody's asking for today that we don't have yet? Well, this is the day after, so you're already ahead.

Oh, what happened to the Patreon that nobody saw yesterday morning? It's coming. It's coming. We're working on that.

But, in the meantime, what you want to do is like... Take three. You forgot that. Listen, I'll do whatever I want to do.

My headphones are not... they don't work. Take 21. It's not even the same box you had yesterday.

It's actually these. Maybe, yeah, maybe it's... It's just one side that works now. You want the guest ones?

They've been in Law Ream and John Carney's years. No, I need a new set. All right, we'll return these. Right on that.

You don't think either one of those guys cleaned their ears? They cleaned their ears. You think so? Yeah, but they don't get the germs out.

They just clean them. There's no earwax on them. Well, definitely Law. You think Law's a clean guy?

Yeah, he was in the military. He's super clean. I don't know. He walked out of the bathroom and didn't wash his hands.

Really? Well, maybe he's got America's penis and it's fine. Oh, is that what he said? He has America's penis.

He's got a military penis, it's always clean. Oh, well, yeah. Right. Like and subscribe wherever you're viewing and listening to the show.

com for all your chpod swag. com, us, Cigar Hustlers podcast, where you just listened, if you were a listener to yesterday's show, and it was a good one. It was amazing, and it's so good, and I hope that you enjoyed it. So many secrets we gave away, but before I get into the comments, yes, before I get into the comments, yes, I have a present for you.

Oh, a present. I do. Is it the bubble machine? No, no, let me get this here.

I have officially upgraded you. I knew it was going to be a red light. Oh, a new red light! To a new red light system.

Oh, nice! So, I may plug this in during the show, depending upon how you're going. Oh. If you're, if you're, if you're not quite, um...

Yeah, there's another thing on there. Yeah, if you're not responsive in any type of fashion... Why don't we just have, I'll just set it up for every show, that's my hour I'll do of the red light. So, so when you're, well, when you're a hot mess, we're just gonna, I'm gonna say, hold on, and plug you in.

Right. Like, when you say something about a Sober Mesa Cigar being cedar-wrapped, that's not cedar-wrapped. It's not cedar-wrapped. It's not cedar-wrapped.

I didn't look at the picture that close. Yeah. Yeah, I was corrected this morning. Yeah.

Is there any cigar that's cedar-wrapped? Yes, the regular Brulee has a cedar sleeve. There are some cigars from Dunbarton Tobacco that are cedar-wrapped. Okay.

I was just trying to see where the line, you know, field is. You were just trying to distract us from his idiocracy and pull yourself into the mix? Sure. Like you just kind of stepped in front of a bullet, is what you just did?

Maybe. Oh, and then that was impressive. Yeah. Like, "No, no, he is not the dumbest one on this show!

" Wow. What's cedar? I love you, dude. It's okay, it's all out of love.

I understand. Alright, I understand. You're very angry. Pressure's a privilege.

The pressure is a privilege. He did the snap after he complained he didn't want to do the snap. com now. Bing bong.

So I hope this makes you smarter for you to get the brain going. It's a nice dome right across the top. I'm not going to look like that lady on it, I don't care. No, you're going to look just like that lady.

How many times have you put that light on me? I'm not going to look like her. I think my phone's over there. Hold on, let me get it.

Oh, are we calling someone? I got to check the comments. Oh. It is an exceptionally large red light.

It's a decent size, yeah. It's a big one. So I guess this is good for you. The other one was like an octopus.

Octopus. Yeah, this one's, this one's very good. It was like five or six different arms that stuck out, and you had to line them all up. All right, let's see, y'all.

Newest. There's some new names, I noticed. Yeah, it's like, we're gaining popularity. Isn't that wild?

Isn't that a wild concept? And they're making names to involve them more with the show. Are they? I'm going to bring this up.

I'm sorry, man. This is just not. Phil's Rhodey 69. I'm in.

Like, I want the Pressure's a Privilege shirt to be seen, but I can hear when I don't sound well, now I sound better. I didn't want to say anything. You'd yell at me. No, I wouldn't.

We just keep our mouths shut on the shelves. We're just allowed to read the stuff he puts on the teleprompters. That's so not true. At Brett Mercurio, SBI, your first Half Wheel 100.

And I want to hear Skip's review of Palmer's visit. Yeah, I talked to Skip last night, by the way. Oh. Yeah.

I'm sure he's all in. Of course. Yeah. Yeah, he said just go down there and Alex will do the majority of the work with you and he will swoop in and finish and take all of the credit.

Oh, good. And we get pictures by the pool with the dog and stuff. Yeah. Well, if you're going in the pool, you're not allowed to wear any clothes.

Tyler had clothes on. That was just for the picture. I'm not going in the pool. Well, I'll go in the pool.

Listen, you're at, you're at the end at this point, you know what I mean? Yeah, I go in the pool, whatever I mean. Don't be ashamed. As long as there's no photos.

Yeah, just let those prunes hang, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Is it heated? Is it a heated pool?

Uh, no. It's heated in Nicaragua, bro. Oh, that's true, yeah. Oh, I forgot, he was just there.

Yeah, he knows. Yes, yes, Phil, we know you were just there. He slides that in all the time. And the bed, and Skip's bed is very comfortable.

The bed I slept in was comfortable. The cuddling's amazing. So soft. Such a gentle lover.

Gentle hands. @rookscoatings says, "Love this trio. Phil is a good touch to the show, but nothing like two brothers trash-talking each other. " First of all, everyone, you've only been here for a couple episodes with Greg.

If you're here for years, you know, sometimes Mikey doesn't always agree with Greg's trash-talking. I think he's a little more liberal for the show, though. Yeah. Who?

Greg? No, you. What do you mean? Putting up with Greg.

Yeah, 'cause normally you don't put up with him. And it's not like we're gonna put his chair right next to you, that's not happening. Yeah. It's in between, like usual.

I don't know, man. I think that, like, I don't know, I feel like I have the same conversation with him here that I do anywhere else. I think that the conversations that go on here aren't business and strategy-oriented. No, this is not real life.

This is fake? Well, it's our cartoon world that we live in. Yeah, it's not upstairs. Well, I mean, it feels like real life.

To me, I think it's real life. It's just not, here's what's going on, here's where we're under fire, here are all the tasks that need to be handled. So those things aren't going on. So if something unintelligent is said in this platform, it's hilarious.

That's what I mean, the cartoon world that we have created here. I understand. But if something unintelligent is said in the back and forth of something being serious... Yeah, but I don't even think that that really happens, to be honest.

You're popping on. Am I? Yeah. Oh.

That'll be fixed next week. There goes the dookie. No, I, no, this is just, this is not, I feel like when you say cartoon or like fake, like that's not what this is. No, I didn't say fake.

What did you say? It's just more entertaining. You definitely didn't use that word. No, but that's what I meant.

Right. Well, that's what I'm trying to clarify, right? Right? Okay.

Because you're saying that it's not like real, but it is 100% real. It's just that it doesn't have the everyday stressors that we have when we're dealing with business. Right. You know what I mean?

Yeah. Right. So, I don't think that that's, I don't think that, I think the conversation is 100% genuine. It's not genuine.

I don't think that we're just not dealing with really hard topics that could make or break our future, right? Correct. @cdub6383, "Oh, I think that we need more Triple G. Can he rotate positions, like maybe bi-weekly, maybe a new segment?

" Listen, we love Triple G. He's great. He's great to mix in. So I love Phil too.

Thank you. And Phil is going to be a part of this show for as long as he wants to be a part of this show. Appreciate that. He's going to go on a little hiatus here because he has a baby on the way and you're going to get plenty of Triple G at that point.

And then you can say, OK. No more Triple G. OK, we've had enough Triple G. OK, where's Phil?

OK. You can only talk about Greg's blue socks for so long. If you like to take the mask home, you could do little baby updates, and we could work it into the show. I think you should just like black out my face.

That would be great. No, you have to do the mask. It's too hard to black out a face. Yeah, you know what, because to be honest, now that you guys are kind of saying that out loud, if this is all kind of happening in the month of July, we have a beautiful mask that's coming for you.

And it needs to be on the show. So, maybe we do do some do-do, maybe we do do some recordings, like just general videos, maybe even I'll do a FaceTime or something, or you do a FaceTime with them, and we'll call and just check in, and then we'll add it to the show. Right, okay. How do you, how you would record, like how would you do it, record it on your phone as you're doing it?

Yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah. " Oh, we apologize.

We have offended the reptilian watchers. Yes, be careful because DataCash, he might not make you dinner tonight if you upset him. He'd still make me dinner. The Ninja Turtles are watching us?

I don't think he was here for that episode. No, that was yesterday. Oh, was that just yesterday? Yeah.

Oh, because for the comedy. Uh, and he also says, I will have to pass on the Phil flavored masks. You're missing out. Really missing out.

I heart BDP. Yeah. I don't know what that is. I saw that too.

No. Yep. Leave my friend alone. I don't know who it is.

That's a new one. What's the name? Nope. I have no idea.

Is the name I heart BDP? I heart BDP. Yeah. Palmer.

Yeah. He's built his own account. Yeah. It's not me!

I would have said something about your mother. I would have had more fun making comments as if I was a member of your extended family. Your poor wife has now signed up and is defending you on the-- She wouldn't. She wouldn't even know how.

She wouldn't defend me. No, well, that too. But she wouldn't know how to make an account on YouTube. Let me see here.

She couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work yesterday. She had to do some work at home because she's on summer break. Yeah. That's because she didn't put the password in right before that.

" I'm like, I don't know what to tell you. And then I find out she put in the wrong password. I got a couple of older ones here that I didn't acknowledge that kind of popped up, I guess. @bricefield says, "We appreciate all you guys do for the show.

" I saw that last night, too. So maybe it was that yesterday's show? I mean, the day before. But they commented last night.

Yeah, well, thank you very much, Bryce. We appreciate that. Yes, thank you. We do try our very best, and money is no object.

It's easy when you don't have any. Yeah, yeah, it's literally not an object for us. Right, because it's not a thing. And this one, you got to hear this one, Boots, Phil, Phil, at Steven Wells says, Boots, make sure you listen to Tuesday's show.

I had some good things to say about you and Mike denigrated every one of them, including your service to the country. I'm in your corner, sir. I couldn't let that one go. I know that was from a little bit of an older episode, but, you know, I didn't want anybody to think I'm hiding something, so, but, yeah.

Thanks, Stephen Wells, I appreciate you. Yeah, so. I will listen. What's that?

I will listen, because I didn't. It's pretty funny. If you want to hear your comment read aloud on the show, comment below, and we may talk about it. We got to do a giveaway again soon, so maybe we start that up, maybe we start it up tomorrow.

Okay. You know, we'll figure it out. Maybe we give away one of those Polesani hats from PCA or something like that. Did you figure out what's going on with our YouTube shorts?

I saw that again this morning. Like, we're getting, like, no views. Oh, yeah. It's tanking.

Oh, I mean, some of them, it's... I don't even know if that tanking would be good. Zero views, one views. We were getting, like, 900 views.

Right. And now, all of a sudden, we're, like, one, five, four. Oh, I think, I think that it might be because like I started trying to focus on more cigar-ish. Right.

Maybe it started to say, eh, pfft. Oh, no, no. So, I might go back to trending. Yeah, go back to trending.

But it's, here's what's weird is like, on the other platforms, everything's going boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Right. And I'm like, damn, man, this is awesome. And now, but, but the one, except the one, it's like, no.

- There's not something you've accidentally clicked that you haven't turned back off? - No, sir. - No? - No, sir.

But I might have to just do more money. I might have to just do two separate versions of short clips. You know, one that's more catered towards YouTube, and the others that will track in the other sectors. I don't know.

I don't know, man. Well, try do it, go back, pick a show and do trending again and see if that makes a difference before we agree to start spending more money on something. Okay, maybe I'll do that on this next batch. I'll just, I'll scrub the other hashtags that I've been utilizing, and I was stating it, hey, make the news more cigar focused, and instead I'll just leave it and see how it goes and see if it tracks.

Right. Uh, I've been doing that hashtag for the YouTube thing like that, whatever you looked at, told us to do. The VidIQ? Yeah, in the, in the beginning of the description, I think it's called.

Not the title, but the next block down. It hasn't really seemed to be making a difference. " Right. So I clicked seven of them, but it hasn't seemed to make a difference.

Okay. Just, just to give you a status update. Yeah, well, I've been meaning to ask you about that anyways, so, we'll take a closer look at it, you know? Alright.

I can tell you, even though with our shorts being down, our overall hourly views are still up. Oh, good. Because a lot of our listeners just watch the show. Right.

And that's continuing to grow still. This is now a production conversation. Sure. Why not?

They're interested. Yeah. Spotify keeps going up. Yeah.

Which is weird because it's not our primary focus, but that's where we're getting most of our views and stuff now. Right. I believe that. Yeah.

Okay. Well, hey, let's get on with the show. Alright, now the news. A self-proclaimed psychic is making headlines after tearfully predicting that aliens will interrupt the World Cup match between Scotland and Brazil.

No way. According to the psychic, extraterrestrial beings are supposedly planning to descend to the pitch during the game, The game bringing the match to a complete halt and revealing themselves to the entire world. The emotional prediction has gone viral online with the psychic claiming that it's like you're eating chips. I was gonna set this up while you're talking.

I thought that that would be funny, but it's all in this weird cello, so I'll scrub it, I'll scrub it. They have repeated visions of glowing craft hovering over the stadium before mysterious beans appear in front of tens of thousands of fans and millions watching on television. The prediction even suggests governments already know what's coming, but are choosing to stay silent. Really?

That's what she says. Hmm. Now, as entertaining as that sounds, there's absolutely no credible evidence to support any of these claims, no space agencies, astronomers, nobody's seen anything, yadda yadda yadda. We love a good alien story, you know?

Sure, oh yeah, like I said, it's going viral, so there's several people who sent it to me, so. Yeah, there's so many people that are just so scared. That's why it gets so viral. Oh my God, they're coming.

I saw a great stand-up sesh, and I don't remember who it was, so sorry, but they were talking about the theory of aliens and us having alien contact and all these other things, and the guy made some valid points. Like, the person who killed Bin Laden, who was not supposed to talk about it, wrote a book about the entire thing. You're going to tell me that we have people that have dealt with aliens and haven't said anything or haven't read it, you know, haven't done any books or anything to that magnitude where it stands out? Like, that's pretty detailed, I don't know.

You know what I'm saying? Yeah, they're releasing all that government information now. " Yeah. It's still all questionable information.

Yeah. Yeah, exactly. We saw glowing lights. It's not like, you know, Alien came over for dinner and they like pork, apparently, we found out.

Right. Could this be advanced technology or could this be another life form? Well, they used to have a website called e-bombsworld. Remember that?

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And they used to put stuff like that on there, though. Like pictures that look kind of like aliens and stuff.

Like, maybe they were releasing stuff, but because, again, like Palmer said, a lot of that stuff's even questionable anyways. Like, Some people believe in aliens. Some people don't. So it's really hard to, if somebody releases a picture to go, is that real?

You know what I mean? Yeah. They're not like showing up at a World Cup game. Yeah.

I mean, where millions of people see it, it's always, you know, a couple of guys in Wichita out in the corner. Right. You're not going to believe this. I'm not going to believe what we just saw.

What game was that? What game was it when they had the robot ones? Where they had the robot ones? Was it the Super Bowl?

What are you talking about? What are you talking about? There was a game where they had like these fake robot aliens. You don't remember that?

No, no. I'll look it up while we're talking. Okay. Is that a movie?

Speaking of movies, have you seen Project Hail Mary? No. No. What is that one about?

It's with the Pretty Boy. What's his name? It's the Pretty Boy, but it's not the, I feel like he's the, he's the other pretty, like the lower level Pretty Boy. The one from the notebook.

Like, uh... Oh, Gotham. Yeah. Yeah, Gosling, Ryan Gosling.

But who was the one that did Deadpool? Oh, Ryan Reynolds. Ryan Reynolds. I feel like he's the, he's that prototype, and then like Gosling is like the next, he's like the number two.

Okay. So, but it was about, it was, it was about like aliens and having to save the world, like our sun was, our sun is deteriorating, there's something that's consuming the light of the sun. Oh, that was Gosling. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I know what you're talking about. No, I haven't seen it, but I know what movie you're talking about. And he comes in contact with an alien? Right.

Is it an alien? Oh, does he? I mean, I haven't seen the movie. There's like a robot that's on the ship with him or something, isn't it?

Or is it an alien? There's an AI, there's like a robot on the ship as well that just kind of like, it doesn't do anything, really. It's in a couple scenes, but it's not like an interacting, you know, robot. But the alien is like this rock thing and it's a little long, it's a little drawn out, but man, it is a really good movie, it is a really good movie and I don't want to ruin it for anybody, but it just makes me think that, look, if we ever came across aliens, I feel like they'd be probably be more like this, they would have this type of interaction instead of saying like, instead of like a Mars attacks type of a scenario.

Right. Like, they're on this outer reach of rim of wherever, and somehow we've met in the middle, kind of, per se, you know what I mean? And, like, that interaction where intelligence starts to advance and we have the ability to communicate with each other, it's pretty cool. It's pretty cool.

It's definitely worth a watch, I would say, for sure. It wasn't robot aliens. It was just robots. It was just actual aliens.

No, at the World Cup games, they've been having humanoid robots, because it's called. It's been a big push. Oh, like that one that kicked the kid in the stomach? Yeah, a lot of things like that.

It's going to be on Jackass, too. I saw a clip for that. Oh, on the movie? Yeah.

There's another Jackass movie coming? Oh, yeah. It's the last one, supposedly. Look, man.

Is it the same guy? I got, of course. Yeah, Johnny. Of course.

- I saw an interview either last night or this morning with Johnny Knoxville, he got an injury one time where he tried to jump a motorcycle over something, and he doesn't know how to ride a motorcycle, so he landed, the handlebars broke and landed in his crotch, and every day he's got to catheter himself for 15 minutes, twice a day. - To remove the blood? - Yeah, because of the injury. - I believe it.

- I mean, I don't know if he's still doing it to this day, but during the interview, because the lady looked at him, 15, so he slides his 15 inch tube in his penis twice a day. To drain it. The sacrifices that that man has made for our entertainment. You know what I mean?

He was trying to recreate the Evil Knievel thing. I remember that one. I think as Americans, it is our duty to go and watch that movie. Jackass?

I like him as an actor. I'm just not a fan of the jackass. Dude, the stuff they do is hilarious. I figured he would love it.

But the reality is that this is what made him money. Oh, sure, sure. You know, he's got to have to do it again, right? right right he's like oh fun fun's a low low bro i mean who wants to electrocute my nads right exactly i mean palmer i mean back in we didn't really go that kind of far stuff but remember we used to pull pranks on greg all the time yeah that's like he started getting angry yeah that's like the stuff they do i mean they go a little too far but like disconnected my distributors or cap or something in my car one time did he yeah yeah we were doing that we had Yeah, the cricket thing, and then the put all the wieners on the golf thing.

Yeah, I stopped when he started taking my motor apart in the car. Yeah. You gotta put this back on, I don't know how to do this. Open the hood and there's something missing, I'm like, what the hell?

My most favorite thing though from Jackass Ever is when they were doing the antiquing. Remember the big hand that they had? High five. Yeah.

Boom, and just antiqued everybody. Yeah. You know, I was just thinking, I like the big hand. Yeah, see, there you go.

But that one's not as bad as, you know, we're gonna... They leveled Bam, Bam was walking with something in his hands. Isn't he dead? No, that's Peter, it's their other buddy, the long-haired one.

Oh, yeah. Okay. All right, well, hey, let's keep going. All right, who has a long neck, rounded ears, and answers to the name of...

Terrence Riley. A giraffe who's gone missing from a private game reserve in the hill country region of Texas. That's who, Gracie the Giraffe, took her leave from the Cedar Hollow Ranch in Leakey, Texas, about a week and a half ago when she was last seen on a game camera west of the area. Mr.

Jones, the ranch's manager, said she remained missing as of Tuesday afternoon, Mr. Jones said. The news of Gracie's disappearance has traveled far beyond Leakey in a city with just about 700 residents. That's about 100 miles west of San Antonio.

So we have another missing giraffe. Seems to be something that's going on here lately. It seems to be in your feed is what's going on. Uh, this was sent by a listener.

Oh, okay. But, I mean, this is the, you know, there's the two that were missing last week and now there's another one this week. S. It's kind of like the human trafficking thing.

Now we're, now giraffes. Oh, now we're a giraffe. The owner who is not identified is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Gracie's capture and safe return. Gracie arrived in May at Cedar Hollow Ranch, a privately owned breeding facility that raises exotic animals and sells them to other ranches.

Mr. , 76, said Gracie, who is estimated to be around three and a half to four years old, is a reticulated giraffe type known of its smooth, clean fence, blah, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, please, please return our dear giraffe. She needs her meds, and if she doesn't make it back...

So she went to a certain corner of the property where there's a gate and she wedged herself through the gate and to freedom. How hard is it to find a giraffe? I don't, you know what I mean? This is a big giraffe.

I saw in photos. It's, you know, rather large. You can see its head. Yeah.

This just doesn't make much sense to me, you know? You go to the corner store and there's a giraffe hanging out over there and it's like, hmm, this is not your spot. You're not supposed to be here. And if you know I don't want that crack, get away from me.

So, supposedly, this area is very hilly, a lot of grasslands, it looks very much like Africa to her, so she's like the Serengeti, yes, wherever she's the Serengeti, wow, she's been to Africa, this is not the first time one of the ranch's giraffes have been on the loose, Terence moved to Florida many years ago, and now works for a tobacco company, he said, Terence Riley is the national sales manager for Agonorsa Leaf, just for the record, because they're a very tall giraffe. " Yeah, why'd they keep saying Terrence? They said the name was Gracie. And he's very tall, kind of goofy.

He's kind of like a-- He's been bulking up, it looks like, in the photos. Oh, yeah? Yeah. He's been staying at home.

Not as lanky. He's getting the TRT. Yeah, when you say bulking-- Muscular. Okay.

He's getting thicker. Yeah, maybe he's got a-- maybe he has a new co-role in the upcoming film movie. Oh, maybe. That's weird.

Something about a giraffe. He plays some kind of superhero. Oh, wow. Yeah, and he has to save Phil.

Oh, a Marvel-like movie. Yeah. Wow. Yeah.

Anybody seen Supergirl? Speaking of Marvel, it comes out the 26th, so it's tomorrow. It comes out today. Trust me.

Today, yes, it comes out today. Mikey will talk about it when it comes out. Yeah, I'd like to go see it. Yeah?

Yeah, man, I've always had an affinity for Superman, right? Sure. That was kind of one of my things as a kid, and like I said before, I think that this character's done well, so I hope this character's done well, 'cause I'd like to see the DC Universe start to grow and grow a little bit, 'cause it's a little behind. Because of, oh, yeah.

Momoa's in this one again, I'm not a big fan. Yeah, what? I love Momoa. Yeah, he's hilarious.

What is he, Nomad or something like that? That wasn't the name, it was a different name. I thought it began with a B. B?

I was watching, reading an article about it either last night or this morning. His name is Bobby. Bobby, it's just Bob. Bob the Bounty Hunter, that's what he's known as.

Bob the Bounty Hunter. All right, while he's looking that up, you may want to check the cheese in your fridge before your next snack. The list of products included in a previous cheese recall has dramatically expanded. There has now been a death.

The recall is over fears that the select cheese could be contaminated with the potentially deadly bacterium listeria. Lobo. Lobo, there you go. There was a B in it, at least.

Yeah. That's why I couldn't think of the name, because I was trying to think of something with a B, but yeah, Lobo. He's not the bad guy, though. He's an intergalactic bounty hunter.

Right, that she helps free from jail. Oh, is that what it is? Yeah, yeah. She's in jail.

She's in jail? Yeah. DUI? In prison or something.

I knew it. Probably, yeah. And she got mixed up in the wrong crowd. Right.

And somebody poisons her dog or something and she has to find the cure. Oh. That's in the trailer. I didn't give anything away.

It's another John Wick. Right. Hey, I got to tell you, man, I look forward to every John Wick. Did I ever tell you when I watched the first one with Jax?

Yeah. I did. And the dog dies in like the first 10 minutes and he goes, all right, I'm done. I'm done.

Walk away, like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, there has to be a catalyst, come back, come back, right, something's got to piss him off, yeah, um, Listeria, which is responsible for a current outbreak in three states, here's what you need to know, oh, we don't care, dude, somebody died, wait, okay, one guy, this is what we care about, one guy's died, eight people are sick, okay, is it in Florida, no, we don't have it in Florida, okay, what state, it's probably like Wyoming, um, Maryland is where the guy died, Maryland, how old, how old was the guy, yeah, Yeah, if you say 98, they didn't, it wasn't the cheese. All right, 32, somebody ate the cheese, one person died. Got it. All right.

Eight people are dying. Okay, well, they better get fixed. We only cover ones where people die. I know, but we're already at 30.

You sure it's not the monkey cruise pox anymore or something? No, it was the ricotta cheese. There's always something going around killing people. Ricotta cheese.

Now they're expanding it to other cheeses as people make because apparently they cannot clean their cheesemaker. Well, if you want to expedite things, Mr. Palmer, I'll go pick you up some ricotta cheese. Nine people.

Nine people are sick. Eight of those individuals have required hospitalization. And one is dead. Oh, tick, tick.

Oh, Maryland, New York, Virginia, there it is. I got to fast-forward through this. There you go. It's them damn Yankee states.

Right, they know how to take care of their cheese. Yeah. All right, we have an update from Mr. Bailey Zimmerman.

" No, no. " "Charges have now been dropped for country music artist Bailey Zimmerman. Zimmerman was previously facing charges of criminal damage to property and falsely obtaining services after causing $16,000 in damages to a room in Sandia Resort Casino in New Mexico. " And a check to the hotel manager.

Hey, you know what, man? Kudos to whoever pressed that and then just walked it back once he came correct. Sure, right. You know what I mean?

Like, hey, yeah. Release his story, make him pay, and then we'll just tell him he's not allowed back. If he said, hey, my bad, and I'm gonna cover that, 'cause that sounds like a Saturday night for your average rock star, you know what I mean? Right.

Destroying a hotel room, I'd like, hmm. Well, he's a, he's a country star, right? He doesn't want a rap sheet. What?

Country people don't like to have records. Zach Bryant got a rap sheet? No, yeah, there's some, but... And where is he at now?

He's one of the top country singers in the world. And Jelly Roll, too. Yeah, Jelly Roll. Yeah.

I don't know if he counts as country. He was actually a meth addict, wasn't he? Yeah. He's getting a divorce now, but they're still having a baby.

Which, no sense at all. I mean, have you seen her and him? I mean, he's lucky. Well, he's not getting to have it the old-fashioned way.

They're going to that place in Longwood that gives you the wrong babies. I hear quiet rumblings about that stuff in the background. Like, 'cause that, for whatever reason, Brittany is, she highlights-- Oh, she's into that. Yeah, they're, I heard her having conversations about it or whatever, and I'm like, they're like, and they talk about, what's his wife's name?

I don't remember. Blonde Lady. Yeah, Blonde Lady. Ah, it's something unique, I think.

Lobo. Bunny, Bunny. Bunny. Bunny Blonde Lady.

See, there's the B. Yeah, B, yeah. And they're like, "Oh, she's so pretty, and I don't understand," like, they're, you know, like-- They don't understand why, why she's getting divorced? Yeah, the whole thing, you know.

He's got all that saggy skin, ugh. Who? He wanted the divorce, not her. Well, because she's complained about the saggy skin.

You think so? You would imagine he'd get that fixed, he's got to have money. He'd get that pulled back, yeah. Yeah.

It'd be good to go. Well, they don't pull it, they cut that off. You think he's at like flying squirrel level? I think so.

He's literally fat bastard status. Yeah. You remember when fat bastard lost all the... From Austin Powers?

Yeah. He lost all the ways, he got all the saggy skin. But why still have a baby with your ex-wife? Again, look, man, with artificial, artificial intimidation, though, it's not like he gets the hat, you know, gets to do the deed, he's, yeah, he's gonna pop in a cup, she's gonna give an egg, and then they're gonna make the baby, and he's gonna pay her child support for the next 18 years.

I don't know, it seemed like the terms were done relatively quickly, everything was kind of squared up, the attorneys were pissed off because there was no fighting. Yeah, it does seem very amicable, except for that one thing, the attorneys like seriously? No, but we can go like, come on, and they were like, she did something, right? what you do no we're good here man like i can't tell you i'm gonna write a song yeah it'll be in my song but i'm gonna get another tear put on the other side two teardrops is not cool man too much yeah it's too much then you're the sad clown it's too much it means you're something else it does oh what's that mean i don't know i'm just saying maybe i mean maybe it means that who knows two teardrops on my face co-hosting with uh terrence riley is that what you're telling me Is that what you're telling me?

A prison story? Poor Terrence. I don't know how Terrence got pulled into the whole thing. It's a prison story.

Oh, locked up with Riley. Nobody's safe in the cigar industry. All right. No.

No, no, not at all. Of course not. I like it when somebody comes up to me and is like, I can't believe you said blah, blah, blah. I'm like, have you listened to the show?

Is that the only show you listen to? Because we've said worse. Listen, Rip Tartan, I don't know who you are. I don't know what you're referencing, but that was probably like three months ago.

I don't know what happened on Monday on the show, so, yeah, that wasn't okay, I'm like, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, okay. Do you want to do your video today? We're at 36, hey, we got it, I got it, I have to do it before it leaves the trending news. Otherwise, yeah, if you wait another, if you wait another day, it pops into next week and then...

Yeah, I mean, at that point it's no longer news. Everybody's looking at it going, this is stupid. Yeah, so, this is the video I'm going to send to you guys. Uh, do you guys know who Dustin Poirier is?

Yes. I know that you do. Do you know who Dustin Poirier is? Nope.

Oh, are you doing the... I'm not gonna say it, I'm not gonna take it down there. This, no, you can, I don't care. Is it the airport there?

Yeah. Okay. This is his arrest. Dude, and you have to walk, like, like, I don't even care, like, the...

Let's just watch the video. Do we watch, can we turn the volume on? Uh, you can a little bit if you want to. Bunch of hoes, let's go!

Let's go! Let's go! You fucking lying, motherfucker! Yeah, blew me off the plane, all my boys went to the fucking crib, now what the fuck?

Alright, you Dustin Parker? Man, fuck you, bro! Alright, just, just relax. Man, fuck you and fuck her, and fuck her.

I'll fight you right now. No, I don't wanna fight, bro. I'll go with you right now. Bro, I don't wanna fight, bro.

I don't wanna fight. Let's go. I don't wanna fight. Let's go.

Radio, how do you even step up? Yeah, tell 'em. Tell 'em, come on. Get a couple of units.

'Cause it's gonna be bad. Bro, just step up. It's gonna be bad, man. No, bro, bro, bro, bro.

What's up? Bro, relax. You wanna fight? Radio to 37.

Radio, start several units, start several units. No. How you boys gonna not wanna fight something? That's pussy.

Radio to 37, Sam. You pussy, boy. You pussy. Bro, relax, relax, relax, relax.

You gonna taste me? You gonna taste me, bro? You gonna taste me? Relax.

Bro, I'mma bang you up. Bro, I'm gonna bang you up. Bro, relax. Oh, I'm gonna do it.

Just relax. Give me a good one. Yo. Big guy rolled through.

Hey, who is he? So, he's a former UFC fighter. Oh, that's why he wants to fight. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Oh, okay. Like, not just a fighter. Yeah. He's like a badass fighter.

Oh, he's a great fighter. Yeah. He was an interim champion. Yeah.

He beat Conor McGregor. Everybody knows the name. Yeah. And, uh, he's a great fighter.

Yeah. He was an interim champion. Yeah. He beat Conor McGregor.

Everybody knows the name. Yeah. He's very well-spoken when he is in the ring, or commentating, or all this other stuff, I didn't realize he was so gangster, like that was awesome. Oh yeah, the act on TV is not an act.

Totally different. No, no, no, I mean, remember when he fought, when he was fighting Conor, before, like all the press conferences before? Yeah. " Yeah?

Oh yeah. So why was he mad at the police officer? I think that he was hammered and he got kicked off the plane. Oh, gotcha.

" And all of a sudden he starts backing up, he's like, I'll fight you right now, and the cop's like, fuck this, I'm not on any part of this, they don't pay me enough to do this shit. I'm gonna pull the real gun out. Well, I mean, when Dustin saw the taser, you could tell that something clicked in his brain where it's like, ugh. I heard him say, you gonna tase me?

You think you can tase me? Yeah, and then all of a sudden, but you could see that he, like, if you watch the video again, you'll see that something happened where he was like, I think I might be out of line here. You know, like all of a sudden it started to process, right? Yeah.

And then the big, big cop showed up and he's like, you know, size is, it could be a good advantage, right? Right. Yeah, dude, I thought it was awesome. I know that there's like a huge outrage to like some people are tearing this guy apart and all this other stuff.

And I'm just like, eh, whatever. Well, there's multiple stories of like what happened on the plane. So they think that he was wrongfully accused, it was somebody else, and he got pulled. Yeah.

That's one story, and then there's a story of him being intoxicated, and there's a whole bunch of different ones. Well, either way, like, it doesn't help to be heavily intoxicated in public. Right, yeah. So, you know, you're already gonna get kind of a stigma, right?

No matter if you're right or wrong, like, that dude's wasted, right? Right. Again, I'm not holding any of that against this guy, I just found it hilarious that he came out with some Mike Lowry vibes of bad boys, you know, when he was at the door, and, you know, and, yeah, exactly, exactly, that's what that looked like to me, I'm like, that was awesome, and the cop was just like, wait, no, no, no, someone help me, someone help me please, bring everyone, back up, Bring everyone. Whoever is in the airport, get them here.

And if there's anybody around them that are relatively big, bring them too. Right. We're gonna need them. I don't want any part of this.

Tuck your chin. Tuck your chin. And he does this. Everyone does it before he did this.

Like, what? I was like, oh, man. Oh, it was awesome. It would have been a bad beating if he would have followed through with it.

For the cop? Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, man. I mean, look, this guy has been a trained fighter for...

You know, he's been training in the fight for how long? Who knows? Thank God that Cobb didn't try to be a hero. No, no, he knew.

Right, no, I knew. He didn't figure out who it was. Yeah, he knew what he did. He walked up.

Yeah, I'm not doing this. " At that point, I would radio. Yeah. I need to back up.

I got Dustin Poirier here. He's really upset. You know, but part of me would be like, "Listen, I'm about to get my ass kicked. I'm going to try and press on this one, but I'm going to need help.

So please, somebody. There's going to be an officer involved shooting in a few minutes. This could be bad, just so you know. I'm going to have to shoot this guy.

But there's an opportunity here, and I've got to know. I've just got to know. Am I clear to fire? No, you don't want to know, dude.

Just go in. You don't have to draw your weapon or whatever like that. He's originally from Florida. Yeah.

He's from one of the most gangster states. He used to train a top team, I believe. Yeah. You know, down in South Florida.

Yeah. Yeah. So. You, yeah.

I don't know who he is. He doesn't know, yeah. You're no fun. Yeah, Palmer doesn't know any of this.

See, this is why you need Phil. Because I got news for you. If Triple G were sitting in the spot, and I showed that video, it would be two complete duds that I would be trying to have a conversation with, and we already would've moved on. Right.

Off an epic video. Yeah, off an absolutely epic video. Cop's like, just tase him. I'm gonna tase him.

You gotta tase him? Would you tase me? And he's like, oh. wait a second this is no but no okay continue cigar we're into cigar news now for cigar news now for cigar news can we say it with some give me some enthusiasm well when I say it you don't hear me so I was just telling you personally we're going into cigar news now oh okay take 30 cigar news Fratello's smooth and strong is shipping oh in 2024 Fratello released a cigar named Vice Versa with a unique premise it could be smoked from either end The end with the flavor changing depending on what end you smoked.

That's also one of Phil's movies. Yes, vice versa. Yeah, smoke at either end. That's actually a Project Pat rap song.

Oh, yeah? Yeah. Oh, you have music for it. I don't think you want to put that one.

No, no, not on our show, but I mean, you can put whatever you want on your movies. Starting today, a new blend from the company utilizing this same concept is on its way to stores. Smooth and strong is a 7x52 Vitola made with an Ecuador and Habano wrapper They're covering an Indonesian binder and filler tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Pennsylvania. The cigar is capped at both ends.

A piece of darker tobacco indicates the stronger end, while a piece of lighter tobacco indicates the milder, smoother end. - We call it smooth and strong. - And the proportions of tobacco are different for each end. The cigars are made at the La Roar factory in the Dominican Republic.

Each cigar is an MSRP of... 16 dollars. 14. 17 dollars.

You went the wrong way. And it is packaged in a six-pack carton with five packs to a box for 2026. A total of 12,000 cigars are being shipped though. Fratello says that it should be an annual release going forward.

The Vice Versa and the Fratello in 2023 was a 7x52. We already know about it. Got it, got it, got it, got it. Cigar, do you think he's going too far?

I mean, he's done it once, it's a novelty, okay, and now he's doing it again. Well, I mean, look, obviously he felt like it tracked. That's why he's going back to the well. I don't have an issue with that.

It's a different concept, right? And obviously, somebody's buying it, right? It's got to be the case. Well, when they talk about the vice-versa, that ended up only being a one-time release.

They didn't do it again, so it was a one and done. Where this one, he's saying, is gonna be a regular production item. I wonder, like, who helped him? You know what I mean?

Like, I don't know. Like, you need a group of peers, right? Advisors? I wouldn't say advisors.

I would just say peers. Right. Because, you know, I mean, I'm the first to tell you that a lot of the ideas that I've kind of made come to fruition have come from friends and conversation and just development of stuff over time. I will never, you know, I did this.

I just like, you know what I mean? Sure. If that kind of makes sense. So, like, you may have, perfect idea, perfect, here.

Hey man, we should do the 250th Warbear, right? Yeah. Like, hell yeah, that's a great idea, like, we'll go Cerakote the boxes and boom, we'll do a limited, limited release, right? And that wasn't my idea, that was your idea, right?

So, you know, I don't know if he has people around him where he's like, hey, where he can bounce off of things. Is he a group of people that he works with or something? Yeah, even with blends and concepts and all these other things, like, you talk with Skip, you talk with Alex, I mean, you talk with you guys, right, and then you formulate a plan, and then you figure out what part of it you want to do and what part you don't want to do, like, where do you think the noise is on that? Like, where's the good frequency that you think you can create something and develop?

And, you know, like, and that's how something great is made. Nothing great is made by one guy on his own. Sure. I'm not buying it.

Sorry, you know? I say all that just to simply state, I don't know, it doesn't sound like it's something where he's pushing the envelope, right? Right, yeah, that's what I mean. He did the first one, okay, it was a novelty, it's kind of different, but then, well, I'm only going to do it with the one, because it really didn't go, eh, you know, it sort of, you didn't really hear much about it after it popped out.

And when you call it smooth and strong, I mean, look, but Devil's Advocate, hey, baby, he feels like this is broad strokes for people that kind of smoke cigars, right? Oh, it's smooth and it's strong. It says it right there. Two options, one cigar.

Yeah, well, here we go. I only need to make half as many now. Yeah, I don't know, you know, kudos to him for doing his own thing, but it isn't something that I would essentially do. The packaging kind of looks like the the Crux boxes for golf.

Yeah, that's why they look like big cigarette boxes. They're like five packers. Yeah. Okay, so then that tells him that maybe he's aiming more towards the massive market of like the kind of casual smoker, convenient kind of grab like your ABC Liquor five packer or something like that.

Right. Maybe. Maybe. Could be totally wrong, but maybe.

Alright, a collection of cigars tailor-made for Hermann Goering have gone on sale. Who's that? Let's read on. Well, no, you never heard of him before?

He's a famous Nazi. What's his name? How the hell? Hermann Goering.

And it's history. Why? Dude, I only know one Nazi. Well, this was the second guy.

The one. The guy with the little mustache. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, this guy worked for him directly.

He was the number two? He was the number two. He's a number two. We'll call him number two.

Right. Okay, so wait, so we're making, someone's making a cigar for this guy? No, no, they found his personal stash of cigars. Oh.

And now they're auctioning them off. Really? We only had two, the only story was Fertello, didn't he? There's some kind of psychopath that's gonna.

Yeah. Oh, yeah, there's somebody. Well, doesn't, who's that comedian that you like, Bert? Doesn't he collect?

Bert Kreischer? Bert Kreischer. Doesn't he collect Nazi memorabilia or something? He does.

Does he really? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that could be totally misinterpreted.

You know what I mean? There's actually a lot of people that collect it just because of the value. It's super valuable. Is that what they say?

Well, I'm just telling you. I mean, this is... No, I've seen, like, auctions and stuff, and, like, there's people that spend crazy money on this stuff. It's like...

Yeah. But the value of it is crazy, too. Because other people want it? I don't know.

I don't know how that stuff works. I saw a bit where somebody gave him, like, the tea set from Adolf Hitler or something, and he was all excited talking about it. Really? I mean, I don't know how you authenticate something like that, but apparently they did.

Hmm. Here is a photo of... Well, the cigars were found... Dude, David Hasselhoff could 3D print anything.

That's all I'm saying. You know what I mean? Well, I can make a document that says, you know, that that camera came from Adolf Hitler if you want. The cigars were removed from a cellar in a Brandenburg home of Adolf Hitler's deputy at the end of the Second World War.

They were held in boxes bearing the word, it's some German thing, and Herman's personal moniker on it. " Mm-hmm. His personal coat of arms and the supplier's name are also printed on the box. Cigars will go under the hammer at the auction at Golden, Young & Mauer Auction in Lincoln on behalf of a private vendor who inherited the cigars from a relative.

I'd be curious to hear how much they sold for him. It's not like anybody's smoking these things. Yeah, I don't think anybody's smoking these things. You know what I mean?

They're a hundred years old. Yeah, they're probably so dry, if you touch it, it might... Yeah. Well, can you, for like a hundred-year-old cigar, can you, if you properly humidify it, it could...

Thank you. Sorry. It could still be okay, you think? It's aged so much, it probably tastes like nothing.

Oh, okay. Like, all the flavor profile is gone, and it's gonna be frail. So it's just like a Monte Cristo. Very brittle.

Wow. Sorry. Ouch. His unusual items are in untouched condition and are certain to attract collectors of the Third Reich memorabilia.

Y'all are weird. I don't know. I don't want to tell you. That's weird, dude.

Who the fuck collects that? I mean, it's off cuff, but I mean, it's World War II. It's the last World War. " Period.

There's no "but" at the end of that. Like, no, no. Like, what are we doing? I get it.

This shit's wild. Just history busts, man. I mean, history people collect everything. I mean, Gagas Khan stuff.

Like, dude, that guy was complete horrible. Okay, so, like, if you had an array, a collection of historical things, like... Like Nicolas Cage. Like blanketing stuff.

Yeah, like, exactly. Exactly. Just like Nicolas Cage. Right, exactly.

From his personal, from his living room. Right. And the occasional thing trickled in there, okay, maybe, maybe, but like to say, hey, I am a collector of this, of just one thing, of that particular, of the Third Reich, yeah, like that is weird, dude, that is weird, oh, this is cool, like, hey, you know, you know what would be cool is a Luger from the Third Reich, like, okay, okay, maybe, right? But then you're like, oh, I got to get the tea set.

Like, what? What? No, no, no, no. Stop.

Stop. I have a Nazi uniform. Like a Tommy gun that was Al Capone's would be cool, right? I'm like, that's pretty badass.

Al Capone's personal coffee cup. But then, yeah, but then I couldn't go past that, right? I couldn't go, this was the hat that Al Capone wore when we told him he was going to jail for tax evasion, right? Well, because you're not a fan of the person.

No, but like, I And I just think that at that point, even if you're a fan of the person, it just becomes, it becomes too much. What if you could get a Christopher Reeves Superman costume? No. Or the wheelchair.

Sorry. Maybe, maybe. No. That was a good, that was a good analogy though.

No. Take it to the next level. What if you got his bedpan? No, no, like, I mean, I would be down with an Al Capone Tommy gun.

I think that's badass. You know what else would be badass? The best would be, I don't know, I don't know, Kobe Bryant worn jersey from the game that he put up 80 points. Like, that's cool.

I think that, like, those, that's badass. But not the shoes from the helicopter. No, I wasn't gonna go with that one. No, not the shoes from the helicopter.

That's too far. Yeah. Got it. Yeah.

Muhammad Ali's gloves from when he fought Sonny Liston. Badass. God, those would probably worth so much money. You know what I mean?

Stuff like, like, things, little things like that, I think those would be cool. But, and those are like, who did I just mention? Muhammad Ali. Ali and Kobe, like, those are guys that I look back and I admire, I'm like, damn, those guys are badass, right?

Is there anybody in history, like, not in sports, like, let's say from some type of high general or high political power, anything? No. Maybe even an inventor? Nah.

Nothing? Benjamin Franklin's glasses. The first atom bomb created by Albert Einstein. I think we used that.

We didn't use the first one, I mean, come on. Well, sure. I mean, they had to blow it up to make sure it worked. I guess, I guess.

Even if it was just a test site out in the desert somewhere. The remnant of... No, no, there isn't really... No.

No. No, there's no political person for me that I'm like, that's cool. Well, I mean, you like Biggie Smalls. Not a political person.

No, but I mean, he's a figure, he's a celebrity type figure, right? Okay. Like, what would be too far with Biggie Smalls? I don't know.

Okay, you have a picture of him in your house. What if you could get the suit that he has on in that painting? Nah, that's weird. Why is it weird?

I'm not, like, I'm not, that's, that's not an epic moment. So like all that stuff at like Hard Rock that they have up around the restaurants and stuff, the outfits from the different celebrities and stuff that they wore at a certain concert or something, that's not... I think some of those things are cool because they're epic events that occurred. Like the Michael Jackson glove.

Yeah, okay. You could have that. That was kind of iffy. Did he touch a kid with the glove?

Justice, my middle son, he's going down this rabbit hole, he loves some of the Michael Jackson music, and I'm just like, all right, but that's kind of where it ends, like, I don't want to go any further. I'd love to go spend time with him, Dad, because other kids got too. Oh, God. Go to Neverland?

It sounds great. I can't confirm or deny, but you know what, either way. We're not going to idolize this man any further. If I see smoke, we're stepping back.

We're stepping back. I get what you're saying, because there was this one time I went to, no, I saw a girl that is, sorry, I saw a girl that's Tia's friend, and we were at one of the football games, one of the, what was the football games we used to go to? XFL? XFL.

Yeah. We went to one of the games, and we saw them there, and her husband came up, and he had on, what's his name, from Guardians of the Galaxy? Chris Pratt had on his jacket. I thought it was a little awkward.

Was it the jacket? I think it was a replica. Yeah, but I was like, dude, you're a grown man. Yeah, like, what are we doing?

What's a cool looking jacket? Yeah, but it's kind of weird. And he even said, like, you like my Guardians of the Galaxy jacket? I wouldn't tell anybody what it was.

I might wear it, but I'm going to go, hey, guess what? This is just like Chris Pratt's. I would have looked at him after he answered that question. I would have looked and I would have said, what's going on here?

What the hell is going on here? I don't understand. I blew it off nicely. Did you?

Oh, no, I can't. I can't let that go. Like, even with the Zen pouches, if somebody says, yeah, I suck on the Zins, I'm like, oh, man, I have an instant rebuttal. I'm not going to say it on this show.

Like, you just walked into the bear trap. I don't even know what we're doing here. " You know? Yeah, I've never been into that pickleball, I don't understand it.

" And he's getting older, like, and he's a guy that I like talking to, he's lived a hell of a life, right? And he goes, yeah, I slipped and fell playing pickleball, and yeah, and after he gives me his story, I said to him, I was like, listen, man, to tell, to live the life that you've lived, and for you to, if you went out by saying, fucking death by pickleball, like, my God, bro, what are we doing? What are we doing, man? Palmer really puts it in perspective for you, huh?

Yeah. No, I don't play pickleball. Oh. I don't know how it works, either.

I thought that was like a sport for like over 60. It is. It's supposed to be like a low-impact type of tennis or something, from what I understand. Yeah, it's for people who don't want to move that much.

Right. But I mean, he slipped and fell. It's pretty much for like, it's like for, never mind. I'm sure we'll listen to pickleball fans.

Do whatever you want to do. Live your life. At least you're doing something, right? At least you're doing something.

Yeah. Alright, we ready? Yeah. Tonight's time for the industry's favorite game: What's the Score?

Players hear clues from a Half Wheel Cigar review and try to predict the score before it's revealed. As more details are shared, the challenge gets easier, or does it? The closest guess of the actual score wins the round. Can you read between the lines and predict the score?

Let's play What's the Score? Let's play. Today's Cigar, March 29th, 2012. Charlie Minato is the reviewer.

It is the La Flor Dominicana Face-Off by Christian Iroa. What year was it? 2012, I think it said. 2012.

I picked Christian Iroa, I thought maybe Greg would be on today. Face-Off. Oh, 'cause, yeah. Yeah, he didn't know who he was.

Phil? I don't know this cigar, so 85. 87. The cigar is the face-off by La Flor Dominicana and Christian Iroa.

Country of origin is Honduras, Factory, Tabaco, Rancho, Hammerstrand. Wrappers, Dominican Republic, Binder, Dominican Republic, Filler, Dominican Republic, and Honduras. Estimated price $10, box of $24, $240. It was released in 2003, and they smoked three of them.

I vaguely remember this. You know, it is an LFD cigar, and a lot of people like those. I'm going to go 89. I think I'm going to stick at 87.

Clue number one. Smooth, creamy, nutty flavors with floral notes early and coffee in the final third make for an enjoyable and well-developed smoking experience. Oh, you're shortening them now. Okay.

This is a short review. Okay. 89. I think I might go 90.

90 here. The delicate wrapper chips easily in the increasing sourness and uneven burn in the second half detracts. The second half detract from the overall enjoyment. Is that the second clue?

That is the second clue. Oh, he's locked in today. Phil's coming for me. I'm going to stay at 89.

I'm going to jump back down to 87. Clue number three, excellent construction with a perfect draw, above average smoke production, and a slow burn that delivers nearly two hours of smoking time. Phil? Well, you're not really giving us a lot of go off of here, huh?

It's a short review. No lot in it. A lot of pictures, though. 89.

87. I'll just start over. Final thought. As good as the cold draw was each and every time, the reality is it's been too long.

The La Floridomenicana face-off by Christian Roa isn't linear, although it's close. More importantly, there's just not anything left worth raving about. This was a great This is a great concept, and the cigar once smoked a lot better, but time has taken its toll. I've enjoyed some of the older cigars from both Camacho and La Florida Minacana recently, but this just isn't one of them.

Ten years in the humidor is a while for most cigars, and a lot of times can leave something that is decrep, decrepit? That's not the case here, although the Face Off by Christian Roa has seen better days. Eighty-one. Whoa.

Wow. Eighty-four? What did he say? Eighty-one.

You went the wrong way. Yes! Seventy-six. Wow.

Wait. Wow. Wow. Wow.

I thought he would have at least been respectful and kept in the '80s. Ouch. Yeah. Ouch.

Let's see. He got an average. Let's see. Let's see.

It's no good. Okay. Anything else to add today? Nope.

That's it. That's all I got. All right. Hey, like and subscribe.
