ACHP Episode 567 He's Back!!

Episode Summary
Mike Palmer is back behind the mic on Episode 567, joined by Mike Stepankiewicz and recurring fill-in co-host "Triple G" (Greg) while Phil "Boots" is out on leave for the arrival of his new baby. The crew opens with shop banter, listener comments from the previous week's Jackson-run episodes, and an ongoing running joke about who is really behind the "iHeartBDP" YouTube account, before working through their usual mix of off-the-wall news and cigar industry headlines.
The most substantive cigar talk centers on a recent Half Wheel review of the Powstanie Sumatra Churchill that didn't go the crew's way. Palmer takes the high road on reviewer Charlie Minato — noting the knocks were largely construction-related, that he still respects Charlie's work, and that a podcast that jokes about everyone can't get "up in arms" when criticism lands on them. He teases a full data breakdown for Patreon, having pulled all 4,000+ Half Wheel reviews to see where Powstanie stacks up against the field and against Charlie's own scoring average.
In cigar news, the guys cover the Aganorsa Leaf Anniversario Connecticut Tubo — a new 6 x 52 round Toro in a metal tube at $19.99, boxes of 10, made at Aganorsa's Nicaraguan factory — and the new Label Boy from Bunny Dropping Cigars, a 6 x 48 corona with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder and Dominican Criollo fillers, blended at Tabacalera William Ventura, limited to 500 boxes of 10 at $14, distributed by Scandinavian Tobacco Group's Meier & Dutch. That sparks a genuinely useful retailer's-eye segment on why a shop does or doesn't bring in a new line, minimum orders, and the customer who asks you to stock something and then never buys it. They also break down Davidoff's 2025 revenue of roughly $672.85 million (up 2.5% while rolling fewer cigars), praise Davidoff's B2B ordering portal, and predict Camacho's numbers will surge.
Non-cigar segments include a GoFundMe campaign for a penile enlargement procedure, an update on the child injured in the crocodile enclosure attack, Waymo robotaxis stranded and one catching fire over Fourth of July fireworks in San Francisco, and the rising number of deorbiting Starlink satellites. The episode closes with two rounds of "What's the Score?" using Half Wheel reviews of the German-made CIGARR NN01 Churchill (72) and the Blackbird Cigar Company Macaw (74), with Greg sweeping round two.

You love this. You love this. Seize dreams. Oh, this is so terrible.
And he said, they don't need me today. I don't know what they're doing. I'm just gonna go in my office and spin in my chair all fucking day long. In my office, look up car parts, I guess, because something's broke, I'm sure.
That's 100% correct. That's the way it works. Yeah, okay. All right, continue.
Sorry. All right, GoFundMe. Never thought this would be what their site was used for. A Crocodile Update.
We have information about the young boy who was thrown at, you know, at 15 feet he was thrown. Damn. More Waymo problems. They might as well just turn these things off.
What is a Waymo? Waymo is the robotic, not remote, the robotic taxi cars. Oh. More problems, more problems.
I see. It's raining satellites, Mr. Musk. And then in cigars, we have a new tubo, some bunny droppings, Bunny Droppings, and Davidoff is Making That Cheddar.

com, Cigar Hustlers Podcast. I think a topic for discussion, we got a review from Half Wheel recently, I don't know if Palmer's covering that or not. " and I already knew you knew the answer, so I figured we would talk about it at some point. Okay, so is that on the topic for the discussion today?
No, it's not a news story because, like I said, we don't do those as news stories. Okay, we probably need to talk about it though. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You want to Patreon it?
We can Patreon it. I don't know. I don't know. I haven't jumped on Half Wheel in a bit, so what is it that they reviewed?
The Sumatra. The Sumatra. Oh, good. The Churchill.
No, no, no. No, not good. They didn't like it. Not good, not good.
It's a fantastic cigar. It's a fantastic cigar. To be fair, it's mostly construction problems, so we're off the hook. It's a Charlie style thing, yeah, it's a thing.
Yeah. Man, I was, I'm really proud of that cigar. Me too, me too. I actually went ahead and I pulled all the data from all of Half Wheel's review list to get accurate numbers.
They have over 4,000 reviews, they have over 4,000 reviews on their site. Yeah. It's wild. Okay.
You know, it's a lot. They're working. So I, I, uh, yeah, I just wanted to get some stats going. Oh, so you did a data analysis of where it stands up against the field.
That's correct. I love this. Not only that, but where does Powstanie stand against the field? Oh.
Yeah. Oh. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Say this for Patreon, let's be Patreon stuff. com, Cigar Host's Podcast, and we're going to talk about that, the whole topic. I thought for sure we were going to get number two again this year with that cigar. Yeah, right?
I don't know, we're not, I don't know. Maybe one of the other ones. Yeah. We have a new Patreon member, Max, that's all the information I have, but he just joined yesterday, thank you Max for joining.
Welcome Max, welcome Max, and Richard just recently joined as well. Yes, before that. Oh, he's upstairs, we should add, is he still there? " Right, because you want to yell shit from the background?
Yeah, like, you can come and sit on Triple G's lap and see what happens. We'll have to pay to do that. Yeah. Yeah, it's true, it's additional.
Right, because his wife says he has a big, you know. Oh, is that what she says? That's what he told me a little bit ago. He said that my wife says that I have a big, you know?
Yes, and that he's rich. I said she's only half right. Rich and then down, huh? I'm not rich.
Well, I said I've room with you, I know the second half isn't true. There you go. He takes a new yoga in his underwear. Yeah, I have done that.
I have stretched in my underwear. Oh, I know. I'm quite aware. Yes, I have seen it.
It's a aware of your stretching. Yeah, well aware of it. Get the blood flowing. Good morning.
There's no discretion involved in the yoga stretching. No, not at all. No, no, no. Things pop out.
It's like prison. It's like prison. It's like prison. That's the way he starts it when we room together.
" He explains what that means. Yeah, yeah. You gotta sit down to pee, you know, stuff like that. Sit down to pee.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. At least I'm allowed to poop in the bathroom, though, with him. No, no, no, no, that is not permitted. With him I am.
No, that's all right. He's like, "What? " That is the most insane thing I heard. When you guys room together, you don't let them poop in the room.
That's it, you poop it downstairs. Oh my God. That's correct. That is wild.
You poop in the lobby. Oh my God, poor Palmer. No. That's a convenient-- I get rules from both of you, it's just which rules do I want this trip to.
Yeah? Oh, God. Yeah, well, you'll have triple G's moving forward. Don't worry.
Oh, that's okay. It's all you and Greg. I love that watch, by the way. It's a very cool watch.
Thank you. Yeah, very nice. Okay, so, yeah, like a subscribe, save, oh, comments, comments, comments. Comments, comments, comments, comments, comments.
Let's go here. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Let's see, I did this the other way, a different way yesterday. I thought that was really cool, but this is just so much more convenient.
I don't remember what it was. All right. data cash 2004 our first comment of the day says congrats to team money for winning the hat but i was secretly pulling for iheartbdp just to see who he or she was yeah that would have worked out great because then what what would you have said at that point it's not me i already have one yeah where would we have sent it to what would the address have been yeah it's not me it's not me it's definitely you no it's not it's totally him now i am even more convinced like i wasn't i wasn't on the on that side of the fence before but like now i heard yesterday i heard the yesterday show you were like no no it's him it's gotta be yeah because now apparently there's a second one yep oh yeah oh yeah oh apparently there's a second one yeah yeah uh cash told me there was a so weird i love that you listen to my podcast by the way only the ones i'm not on yeah okay uh t money says my man jacks amazing on the board and picked my lucky seven thanks for all you guys do this show is the highlight of my morning we love you t money that's awesome you're a good dude i asked t money if it was him and he said he would have told mikey by now yeah that's true he would have leaked it he said hey just so you know i'm my IHeartBDP, I like that he's trying to throw everybody off his scent, too, saying, by the way, are you IHeartBDP? It could be any of you, you know, could be anybody.
Yeah. Meanwhile, it's him. Yeah. There's even AI images, dude.
Huh? There's even AI images. Is there really? Yeah.
Oh, yeah. I have no idea. Of what? Yeah, I know.
How do you put those in the column? On the profile. It's the profile. Oh, I even clicked on the profile.
Yeah. ". Yeah, I think he did actually, where there's some trademark infringement that we're working through and it's just going to be some type of royalty, actually not to Phil indirectly, it's going to be to this podcast. So, we're looking forward to that.
Got a solid 50 cents coming. For each bundle? Or just one time? No, just the one time.
Just the one time payment. " A lot of love for Jack's just coming in and, you know, I was, I was happy, you know, what's funny is, I actually had some other news articles that I was going to cover, the Benadryl one that you sent me, and I was going to do the FIFA coverage because I knew that the FIFA coverage would kind of light him up, and it just didn't, it didn't transition onto the teleprompter for some reason, so, such is life, you know? He did do a good job, and it's not easy working that board, making sure that, you know, the right person is up at the right time. I'm sitting here talking, my brother was on you Palmer, like even a well-seasoned man, it's very hard to do.
I think we're gonna put you on at the end of the week. I've done it. I know you've done it. I've done it.
It's not easy. It's not easy at all. Oh boy. " Nice work, Jackson.
See, a lot of love. A lot of love. That's very nice of you guys. Thank you.
At Ruckus Unchained, he said, she said, "Why has the playback volume been low the past few episodes? The reason why that is because I was doing all of it, and I don't know what his standard bar is. " So I don't know. And he gave me zero instructions.
" "Okay, you gave me the passwords. " Well, there's just no time for that. He's really taking a stance of intentional sabotage over here. We would have started last week.
He 100% intentionally sabotaged. Yeah, okay, right. He did. I don't understand.
Because I want this show to do bad. So I thought I... Without you? I want to be without me.
Yeah, you want it to do bad without you. I don't have to do anything. What do you mean you don't have to do anything? For it to be bad without me.
Exactly. Wow. Oh, wow. Oh, so you said, so you're saying the shows were bad without you?
They weren't as good. They weren't as good, huh? No. Oh, okay.
All right, I got it. Okay. You got more comments? Yeah.
Oh, okay. @CW6383 says, "Congratulations to the money. Chase1911, great job. " And Ruckus Unchained was very proud.
Yes. " and i got two more here real quick at iheartbdp aka you yeah oh he starts laughing wow this is the best you can do without bdp and had to pull in triple g and jacks to salvage it we know who carries the show it's kind of odd that's similar to what you just said on this show isn't that weird so strange yeah it's almost like that's you wow at least you love yourself that's good you have to love yourself to start you know what I mean iHeartPDP is you okay and at the buzzinator19 no mention of Mr. and Mrs. Swift wedding at MSG on Friday cool kid what's his favorite cigar his favorite cigar is Mike Postana, first of all.
First and foremost. Because that's the one that pays his bills. Okay? So, he's a big fan.
He's a big fan of it. He wants you to buy more of it. He has zero concept of money. He wants everything in the world and just doesn't, and nothing fancies him at all.
He did ask for a commission. " I go, "It's the same as everybody else, buddy. " Oh, Jack's only get paid. I gave him a soda.
He took two sodas. Monetary Compensate. He took two sodas, took two Diet Mountain Toots. Nobody makes money off this show, what does he think this is?
Exactly, it's ridiculous. If you want to hear a comment read aloud on the show, simply just comment below, and we may or may not read it aloud. So make sure you check that out, check out our YouTube page, all of it. And now, on with the show.
GoFundMe has financed medical bills, funerals, dream weddings, and an entire subgenere of campaigns that test the outer limits of what strangers will fund for each other. Subgenre. Subgenre. I like Geneer.
I'm going with Geneer. Sub-Geneer. Sub-Geneer. Sub-Geneer.
Michael Phillips just launched one that tests those limits harder than most. What do you think he did? Michael Phillips? Yes.
That's his name. Who is he? Is he someone famous? He's a person.
Just a red... Kinda. Kinda famous? Kinda.
Really? Or could have been, let's say. Like porn star famous? That would be a good category that he may have been in.
Uh huh, okay. Is he funding, it's funding for a sex change operation? No, 38 year old from North Carolina with a medical diagnosis of micropenis. Oh.
Is raising money on GoFundMe for a penile enlargement procedure. Atta boy, good for you. He told TMZ that his penis measures, would you guys like to guess? Micropenis?
Micropenis is super, super small. It's like quarter of an inch, half an inch, it's like crazy small. I'm gonna say quarter of an inch. 38 inches.
So it's just under half an inch? Just under half an inch. Which he claims makes the world's smallest. A few months ago he was apparently weighing whether to enter the Guinness Book of World Records for the same reason.
Now he's doing this instead. The procedure involves an injection of semi-permanent dermal filler, a non-surgical approach to penile enlargement that has grown in popularity over the past decade. Dead Kid. Phillips tells TMZ the motivation is practical, noting he struggles to use the bathroom and currently wears pull-ups.
Like, wait, what? Because he peepees himself? Because he wets himself. Why?
38 inches, how are you going to aim? Yeah, no, but, wait, so you sit down, and you still want to piss in your chin, I mean, because it's so small. Well, or forward, I guess. But why wear pull-ups?
Like, are you just walking around pissing? I don't know. I mean, your bladder still works. That's a great point.
It's a great question. The real question here is, is this really a big deal for GoFundMe? Yeah. You think so?
Yeah, yeah. I think this is like way out of left field? Maybe the first time somebody's done this on GoFundMe. Yeah, but it's not a shocker to me.
I was like, okay, a guy wants a bigger penis. Like, I'm not surprised. You're surprised. Would you send him money?
No. Well, because you have to first publicly state, I have a micropenis. Right, there was a picture of him with the article, not of the penis. And then pander for funds to repair said penis.
Yeah, but yeah, I don't know. It's like, whatever. Okay, yeah, guys, I'll drive begging for a bigger D. I get it.
You know what I mean? How much has he raised, Palmer? I gotta know that. How much has he raised?
How much has he raised? Well, first, it is not covered by insurance. Of course not. Which is weird, because I think it should be to some degree.
I agree. And the procedure only makes it bigger around, not longer. So he's gonna have a donut down there. So he's gonna have a...
We're going for stump. Okay, got it. And it only lasts for a couple of years, and then the dermal filler deteriorates. And then he needs more stump.
He's gotta go inject it again. He's gotta go and do it again. Okay. What's he up to?
GoFundMe started at a goal of $1,800. That's how much he needed for the surgery. He's at 25 large. - $22,000!
- I love it, I love it, it's beautiful. - He wants a procedure done within the next couple of months, the campaign is live, and the story is out, and the rest is up to strangers who want to see him with a bigger penis. - Good for you, good for you with your little D. That's awesome.
- So at $22,000 every couple of years, he can get a result? - He's covered for the next 20 years, he's good. - For a stump, he can get a stump. - For a stumpy.
- Okay, beautiful. - What if it deteriorates in pieces, not like all at one time, So it becomes like maybe lopsided. So now it's small and deformed. He's got Elephant Man Penis.
He's got Elephant Man Penis. He's got Elephant Man Penis. Play-Doh, he can move it and make it bigger in certain sides. Are you lefty or righty, honey?
Hold on. I can shift this over. I can just move this a little to the left. Okay.
Don't squeeze it too hard, it comes out the end. By the way, this is burning perfectly, just for the record. Just so you know. It's flawless.
It's flawless. It's flawless. Charlie reviewed it? Yeah, Charlie reviewed it, of course.
And it's probably one of the most complex flavored cigars that we have within our portfolio. He liked the flavor. It's a burning issue. It's a really good cigar.
Look, I don't want to get ahead of myself because this is Patreon coverage, but I will tell you this. At the end of the day, I respect Charlie. And, you know, he had a bad run of it for whatever reason, whatever. It's fine.
you want to look at the stats as to where we rate with just charlie alone it's above his average so i know that we're doing something right and um i i got more details then i'll let let it out on the patreon but you know at the end of the day i just want i want charlie to know that i'm not fucking mad i mean he's teched me 20 times today oh really yeah asking questions about everything else is he getting hate mail and no no i just i just think that i think that i think he's just He's trying to, like, hey, you know, hey, what's up? You know what I mean? Oh, that just cut out. I still heard it.
Yeah, I think that, you know, but like... He's temperature checking his body. Yeah, but look, at the end of the day, I respect the guy. He's a good dude.
He does a good job in the industry. And look, that's how he felt. That's how he felt. What the fuck else am I gonna, you know?
I mean, we are a podcast that criticizes everybody and cuts jokes about everything, and I'm supposed to be up in arms when something doesn't go my way? Like, make that make sense. I don't think you're supposed to be up in arms. Yeah, that's my point.
People want us to be. Yeah. Oh, why? Have other people like contacted and said, "Hey, did you see this?
" Well, not like that, but like our friends have... I cut out again. What's going on here? Our friends have contacted us.
" Right. And you know... " That's awesome. That's even better.
Who was that retailer? Mishawashka. Okay, that's cool. Look, I'm gonna tell you, at the end, we have a great brand, we have a great product, and we have great customers on a retail level and a consumer level that will continue to support And push forward with us.
You should see the comment section on the Facebook feed. I'm just like, okay. You know, like, damn, guys. Like, that was kind of hard.
Like, they, you know, they start going after Charlie. And look, um, whatever. That's all I'm saying. I'm not going any further than that.
We got it, we'll, we'll, we'll break down the stats and the data on, on... -Patreon. -Patreon. -Cool, good idea.
-How did we get from the micropenis to our cigar? -How did that? -I don't know. But here's what I'm gonna tell you.
-How did that transition work? -Well, my brother did use the word above average. That's fair. That's the tie-in right there.
That's fair. I am going to tell you that I did pull all the data from Half Wheel. There's over 4,000 reviews that they've done, and I'll break everything down. I'm going to break it all down for you and tell you exactly where the brand stands.
So, okay. All right. The Crocodile Attack in England. We have an update in a statement published with a fundraiser for them, also a GoFundMe.
This was the one where the young man had a mental thing. Correct. Well, through the three-year-old, 15 feet down into the concrete alligator pit. Yeah, I remember this story.
I get all of my news from sitting in this chair, by the way, you should know. Me too. Me too. His heartbroken family says that he's been living at the hospital for the past two weeks where their boy has had five surgeries.
He requires at least two more, including nerve reconstruction in his arm. The statement said: "We are extremely grateful for everyone's generosity. We could never thank you enough for the support you have given our family in this horrible time. We have been living at the hospital for two weeks now, and our son has undergone five surgeries at this moment.
In time, we know that our son is to undergo at least two more, one of the surgeries being nerve reconstruction in his arm. The uncertainty remains is we still don't know the extent of his feeling and movement and function in both arms. I guess two of the alligator crocodiles grabbed both arms. One was a Nile, which are known to be excessively mean.
I forget what the other one was. I mean, it's a crocodile. Yeah. Yeah.
He's not going to have a complete motion in his wrist and hands. Okay. Man, that sucks, dude. Yeah.
And the child tosser, he's still incarcerated? He's still in jail, yeah. Okay. Yeah, they're not letting him out.
Even though that he was like autistic or whatever? Yeah, that's not an excuse. I agree, it's not an excuse. No, it's not a get out of jail.
Don't you think that somebody else should be held liable as well? Well, 100% the people that were supposed to be watching the man that did it, the caretaker, you think they should be, yeah, it should be something against them as well. Yeah, they were on their phones out front. Yeah, it's like when a child gets a hold of your firearm, right?
Right. You should be held accountable for that. Right. And the mother was outside smoking.
So terrible. Yeah, terrible, terrible, terrible, man. All right. All right.
We got to get off this show. We got to get off this episode. Let's go on the next one. All right.
Several Waymo vehicles had to be towed away after the company said their batteries dialed, died while they were stuck in heavy sand San Francisco Traffic Amid 4th of July celebrations. Mmm. Apparently when they stop, they keep the air running and the car for the passengers. It drains the car.
It drains the battery now. Shut it down. Video showed more vehicles at a standstill and intersection filled with people. One of the vehicles was on a flatbed truck.
The company noted that there was heavy traffic in the area following a firework celebration. Major traffic disruptions, a high volume of travelers, and unplanned road closures contributed to unexpected congestion. So the cars have no idea what to do. Yeah, I mean, the 4th of July is just crazy.
I was telling that to my brother last night as we were driving around. It is wild, the amount of people that are out, and there is no one in a firehouse, hospital, or a police station, because all forces are out on the streets, every red and blue light, absolutely. Have you guys seen the people that light the fireworks off, like in the middle of the four-way intersection? They like go to the middle, like in a neighborhood or something and launch it off?
Are we talking about like a busy street or a neighborhood? Well, it could be either one. Okay, fair enough. But there's no traffic coming, so, you know, you don't let it off in front of your house or your apartment, you put it in the middle.
Right. Well, apparently the Waymo vehicle decided to drive over it before it took off. Oh, nice. And it caught on fire.
Oh, yeah. That's amazing. We were pulling up to a four-way stop and this guy was shooting off fireworks in the middle of the road and then our Waymo started driving and we're like, "Wait! " And then the car ran over the top of it and it went off and the car caught on fire.
- Can you do that? Do you have the ability to yell at the robot and it'll stop? - Apparently not, because it did it anyway. - It keeps going.
- It keeps going anyway. - Look, man, here's what I'm gonna tell you. This is why Elon's gonna crush when it comes to this market space. He is quietly testing this across the board with his current system, right?
And these other guys don't have the vehicles that are collecting the data. And the reality is that you gotta go through all of these bug fixes in order for it to be covered. Who do you think, a room full of people, you think they're going to say, okay, what happens on 4th of July, as we're building this? No fucking way, it's not going to happen.
What happens if the car sees a firework about to launch? Well, it'll stop. No. Right.
You know what would be cool is if some kind of panic halt where the car could say, hey, stop, right? Yeah, maybe Elon's going to hear me say, yell at the robot, stop, and the car stops. I mean, I've never been in one. Have any of you guys ever been in one?
No. Is there, like, a panic button in the back? There's got to be something. I don't know.
For your safety, you need to stay in the car at all times. You're driving me into a lake! This is for your safety. Stay inside.
You know what I mean? It's like the Stallone movie. " What's the Stallone movie? Where he was...
Was it Stallone? Yeah, it was Stallone. We talked about it last week. Where he goes into the future, but he's a man from the past, and he fights...
Demolition Man. Yeah, Demolition Man. Yes. Snipes was in it with him.
Yeah, Snipes was a bad guy. Yes. Isn't there a talking one in that movie, too? The car auto-drives.
Yeah, but I thought there was a... A taxi cab. Oh, you know what? That's Schwarzenegger when he goes into...
Total Recall. It's Total Recall. Get your action superheroes right, for love of God. Stop yelling at me.
I'm not yelling at you. Yes, you are. No. I know how sensitive...
I'm not reading the next story. I know how sensitive you are. " Way to beat on your, way to pick on a 13 year old, very proud of you, I hope you're proud of yourself. I said you did a great job three or four times.
You said that, hey, you said that it wasn't as good. Well, that was your fault, not his. Well, he was in addition to that. Yeah, but him and Greg's what saved it, you didn't read my other comment?
Oh, see? So, you do admit that it is you. It's just easier to go with you at this point than to sit here and keep going back and forth. See, the problem is that you have a track record of sabotaging people.
Yeah, but I'm a little more inventive than a fake name on YouTube. Are you? Yes, I am. Would you like some Bang Energy Drink?
That was a long time ago. Now you're weathered and torn. That was a great scam. That thing went for two years.
That was a great scam. It's like you forgot about it. I didn't forget. Yeah, you did.
Everybody knew, including your wife! She was even in on it! It's like the whole world knew but you. Yeah, isn't that nice?
And now you think I am just sunk down to a fake name. Yes, I do. All right. Okay, continue.
The number of Starlink satellites intentionally incinerated on Earth's orbit seem to be ticking upward once again, with another 260 satellites burning up upon re-entry in recent months. Apparently these satellites only last 10 years. Well, yeah, no, they're actually designed to come back to Earth, but as they come in, they burn. Yeah, they burn up, yeah, and there's no debris, but they're coming down in record numbers now, more than supposedly they're supposed to be.
Because there's a shitload of them up there. I'm just saying they don't. So many. The satellites re-entered the atmosphere between December 2025 and May 2026, according to semi-annual report SpaceX submitted to the FCC on Wednesday.
Of those 176 were part of the first-generation Starlink constellation. The remainder were second-generation. Another 349 satellites were removed from operation during the six-month period and thus headed to disposal. The 260 figure is a slight increase over the 218 satellite SpaceX vaporized between June and November of 2025.
Starlink satellites are designed to operate for five years, meaning SpaceX constantly refreshes the constellation with newer craft. Meanwhile, the old satellites are eventually disposed of by sending them on a fiery atmospheric re-entry. Nice. Like that.
The incinerator, the equipment, opposing no harm to anyone below. The Starlink constellation has grown so large, there are over 10,000 deployed satellites that SpaceX has occasionally retired the older craft by deorbiting. As many of four or five a day. 10,000 satellites.
What do you think he charges himself to launch those pigs up there? No, there's a number. I saw it the other day. It was it was decent.
Like it's it's a big number. Yeah. To get it up there. I want to say it was like 60 some million dollars for the motherfucker.
Well, it was 67 million to do serious satellites, send them up. But he's not serious satellite. So he gives himself a diss. What do you think it is?
Well, be smart. There's many companies that are structured with each other and they're all paying each other. It's a shell corporation. Well, when he launches a Cirrus, he throws four or five of his on there and the trip's paid for you.
Oh, it's covered? I'm like, oh, well, we're going to put these on yours anyways. I'm like, what? Yeah, there's room.
There's plenty of room. There's plenty of room. There's plenty of room. You only have the one.
67 million. Wait a second. So I'm paying for yours to go up there? That's correct.
I mean, no, that's not what's happening. No, no. They don't tell them that part. Yeah.
Brilliant. Right. It's like when you order Uber Eats or something, and they say, it's one stop away because they're delivering somebody else's food at the same time. Right.
And then your food shows up cold and your ice cream is melted. - It sounds like this doesn't happen to you. - Yeah, it does. - It struck a chord.
- We live near many restaurants over there by the Target and the Publix and everything. There's a lot of fast food and little restaurants all up and down that road. So that happens quite often. But they don't tell you that until after you've already hit.
- That's why we DoorDash, bro. Uber Eats is-- - Well, we don't Uber Eats, we DoorDash, too. I just said that one as a generic name. - Isn't there a way you can push a button where that doesn't happen?
- You can pay more. - Ah, and you're already paying a lot. You're already paying a lot. Yeah.
Yeah. For an extra $5, we'll bring it right to you. It's insane. Like, I didn't realize that.
" I'm like, "Okay, order lunch for everybody, put it on my credit card, right? " It was tacos. Delivered. Four people ate.
$120 for delivering tacos. 30 a pull. It was wild. It's a taco.
Inflation, man. Just the one? Everything's a... One taco?
I mean, I had three, but nevertheless... Well, you're paying. Expensive, very expensive. Let's see, Starlink satellites at an apparent high.
In total, 1,344 Starlink satellites have re-entered atmosphere, according to the astronomer Jonathan McDowell. The deorbiting has raised concerns that vaporizing satellites could release harmful ozone-depleting gases, prompting researchers to urge further study of the issue. This is the big Mick guy? The McDowell?
Yes, the big McDowell. You know what I'm talking about, Greg? Yeah, absolutely. Coming to America.
They got the Big Mac, we got the Big Mick, they got the Golden Arch, we got the Golden Arc. Great reference. Yeah, this is the guy. Apparently he's out of the fast food and now he's analyzing Elon's satellites.
Environmental footprint. Yeah. S. to conduct an environmental review.
However, the FCC is looking to exempt Starlink and other large satellite constellations from such assessment. Of course we are. That's how it all works. Duh.
Duh! No, no, Elon's fine. Don't pay attention to him. Look the other way.
This is fine. Look the other way. Mm-hmm. Just get the other guy.
Yeah. All right. I guess we don't have a video. You know, this does remind me of like, are you keeping up on House of Dragons?
No. I didn't see the new one has coming out, but we don't watch it. This is the extension of Game of Thrones? Yes.
He just cut in and out again. What? What is going on with this board, man? You're there.
You're there now. It's not going out of my ear, and like it was, so in pre-production, whatever, I was having the problem, now you're having the problem. Yeah, I think that Boots was saying, or Phil was saying something about this too. This is weird.
But as long as the, uh. Maybe a wire needs to be redone or something. As long as they keep showing up on the, the. So, just to be clear, you can hear it, it's cutting out on you.
And now you're bubbling. Okay, getting kind of old. So anyway, so House of Dragons, yeah, it's the prequel to Game of Thrones. Yeah.
Well, uh, spoiler alert, if you're watching the show, uh, just so you know, So you might want to skip ahead for the next minute or two or something. Don't listen. Don't go ahead. So she goes in and now she's taking over King's Landing.
Who is she? Like, I don't know. The Mother of Dragons? Yeah.
No, no. She's not born yet. It's a prequel. Yeah.
So here's what I'm going to tell you. Is it the blonde family? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The Targaryens.
So she goes in and she sits down with all the rich people and she does like a banquet and she feeds And she says, this is what has happened to our people while you guys have hoarded and stored things away, and now we're pillaging all of your homes as you're sitting here, and then we're going to redistribute all the food. And I was like, oh, she's a dem. That's what that is. Redistribution of wealth.
Yeah. Right? I'm like, okay, whatever. Like, you're going to piss off all those people.
It's not going to be good. Well, because they're powerful because they have money. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is going to go sideways for her real quick and then I you know but when you hear it you start to reflect on you know okay reflect on your society like that's where the people that are you know people get upset that these people are really rich and they want things redistributed and stuff like that higher taxation all this other stuff and it's like you when you listen to her somebody was telling her well you're gonna piss it you're gonna piss somebody off one way or the other I'm like yeah I guess it kind of sucks to be in a political position because you're never gonna you never win yeah yeah you gotta do Do something to somebody.
Something happens at all times, right? And somebody's always pissed. She's going to make all the rich people mad, but all the poor people will love her. Right.
That's kind of my point. That was wild. And that links to Starlink how? That links to Starlink getting an exemption on throwing their shit out there.
Oh, yeah, I got you. See what I'm saying? Yeah, follow along. It's there somewhere.
I was lost there for a second. You got to keep up. You see what I'm saying? Well, we're going to check all these other guys.
However, super elite, get a pass. Well, also, you do know that the Starlink system is used for controlling the drones of our military as well. Oh, is it really? That makes sense.
Yeah, that's kind of a big deal. Look, I'm not taking the seat in this position saying that I know what the right answer is, right? I'm just saying that it's funny, the show actually has a comparable as to, you know, similar aspects and you're like, what's the right answer? That's the right answer.
And I don't think there ever is a right answer. Right. You know? He just did a huge price increase on Starlink too.
Oh yeah? 67 million? No, no, to like your monthly bill if you have it. Yeah.
Yeah, he slowed it down but increased the price. Well, it doesn't make sense for us to have it. No, but some people have it on their homes or they have it on their RVs or they have it at, you know. If you're really rural, then it makes sense.
Yeah, yeah. Hard line of, what is the, fiber optic is far, far faster than it. Yeah. So if you have that, you should use that.
I know a guy that has it. Starlink? Yeah, it's a little thing. It carries around.
It's interesting. So, okay. Carry on. All right, Cigar News.
Agronors-A-Leaf Anniversario Connecticut Tubo is shipping. Okay. New packaging. New packaging.
The Agronors-A-Leaf Anniversario, well, it's a new size. This one's in a tube. It's in a tube, and it's a new size. New Vitola.
The Anniversario Connecticut is now available in a new Vitola, But one that also comes in a metal tube. It's the second different Toro for the line. Because they didn't have one Toro, now they have a second Toro. Though it will be difficult to confuse the two cigars, the Aganorsa Leaf Anniversario Connecticut Toro, the existing cigar is a 6 1/4 by 52 box-pressed Toro.
The new Aganorsa Leaf Anniversario Connecticut Tubo is, what size do you think? Uh, round Toro. 6x54. It is a round 6x52.
The other one's a six and a quarter. Ah. Completely different cigar. So, micro penis cigar?
Yes. A little bit smaller? Yes, a little bit smaller. So, a box press cigar means that it's squared like this.
This is a box press? Yes. Right? Look at the burn on that cigar.
It's a little razor burn. Wow. It's incredible. It's pretty sharp.
Incredible razor burn. So, the one that they just released is round is what you're stating? Yes. It's a quarter of an inch smaller.
Yeah, so it's a, but that's not, I don't even think that's noticeable. The big noticeable part is the fact that one was square and one is going to be round. And I'm just trying to give our listeners and viewers some context because some of them are just getting into the cigar industry, you know? Yeah, what do you call it?
Enter education? Enter the dragon? No, no, no. Enter the dragon.
Oh, edutainment. Edutainment, that's it, yes. There's a little edutainment for you there. Yeah, we're providing edutainment.
The line is made at the company's factory in Nicaragua. The Agronorsa Leaf Anniversary Connecticut Turbo is an MSRP of... Greg? $16.
That's in a tube, man. It's gotta be at least $18. 99! Ba-bam!
Ba-bam! Ba-bam! that's it for that one, sorry. What?
Did you just have a stroke? No, no, I started to read the next story. Oh, okay. I need to put bigger spacing in there.
That teleprompter is not the best thing on the planet. I'm going to tell you right now. You need a $600 teleprompter. We definitely, you know what?
No, no, this is fine. You know what? You're right. You're right.
Don't spend more money. We need a better teleprompter. This is why you have no money. No, we don't.
This is why we have no money. This is why we have no money. You actually could get paid, but look, now I've got a bigger teleprompter. No, less mistakes.
All right, the latest release from Bunny Dropping Cigars has landed at stores. Did we get this one? We didn't get this one. Label Dude or whatever?
Label Boy. Get it right. It's Label Boy. Oh.
It's a new 6x48 Corona that uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Mexican San Andres binder and Criojo and Criolo fillers from the Dominican Republic. The cigar was blended by Wilbur? Wyber? Hi-ho Wilbur.
I don't know. Ventura. Oh. You know his name?
Oh, yeah. How do you say his first name? Wilbur. Tabla Calera, William Bajura, and the Dominican Republic.
Each cigar has an MSRP. How much is the bunny-dropping label dude? Label boy. It's label boy.
You said label boy. Label boy. It has on the box, it has all the fancy LV, Dooney Burke, all that kind of looking stuff on it. It's a knock towards dissent, Brian.
Yeah, I think that is what it is. That's exactly what it is. I think. Super creative.
I think. Just don't zoom in. Well, you know, Triple G knows, he's in the industry. Yeah, Greg thinks, we all think, that that's what this is.
How much? How much that is? That's $16. Is everything $16?
Are you not noticing a pattern? Yeah. I think it's coming in at $14. $14!
Boom! One of us is in the industry, and it's not that guy. Production is limited to 500 boxes of 10 cigars. Label boy is about owning your story, said the company in a press release.
When the cigar was announced last month, people spend their lives being categorized, judged, and defined by others. This cigar is a reminder that labels don't make the person the person makes the label. Scandinavian Tobacco Group's Meyer & Dutch is handling the distribution and fulfillment of Label Boy. So, are you getting this, Greg?
Are we getting this, Greg? No, we're not getting this one. Why did you say? " Because it's not $16?
We don't do any business with Meyer & Dutch. There you go. It's true. It's just that simple.
You know what I mean? We're direct with just about everybody. There's no purpose for it. If we had a calling for it, like if five dudes came walking through the store and said, hey, are you going to get Label Boy?
Yeah, I'll get it for you. No problem. Absolutely. Five's the number?
I mean, I just pulled that number up. Realistically, if one of our good customers says, hey, you're going to get this, do you want it? Yes. Then I'll get it for you.
Either five regular people or one good customer. I mean, sure. That's the number? Sure.
Okay, just curious. " So we actually combined, the three of us put it all together, actually with Steve, to figure out how to get this guy these boxes. And did we take a hit for it? Are we making tons of money?
No, but we made sure that we solved the problem. If the guy's a good customer, we go out of our way, you know, and they've established a relationship with us, if you're some slapdick that's just off the street and you came in day one, you said, "Hey, really, I really want the cigar," we know that that's a big gamble. I really like this label book. You give me the label book.
" Oh, good, I just wanted the one. Thank you very much. They don't even buy the one. Literally that story.
Hey, you guys should really carry this cigar. This is a great cigar. Okay, I'll get it for you. That's awesome.
Okay, great. You know, five days later, customer comes in. Hey, come with me. Look, here, we got this for you.
Oh, good. Those will sell. And then they go, "What do you mean they're gonna sell it? " Right, we got it for you.
Right. Oh, I just meant it would do well if you had that. I don't like it. It's terrible.
It's not like you can pick up the phone and order a box of cigars. You've got to place an order, and if it's a company that you're not doing business with, you've got to get at least a certain saturation of their blend of brands, right? So, you know, you're not dropping a couple hundred bucks, you're dropping a minimum a couple thousand bucks. Right.
And then the guy just, eh. Oh, thanks so much. Thank you so much. Good for you, you'll do good with those.
Yeah, that's gonna do really well for you. Like, okay. No, this is the one I want, let me tell you about it. And it's not the only time that it's happened.
No. It happens all the time. Yeah. Yeah, people are interesting.
All right, Davidoff revenue slightly up in 2025. That's easy. We just charge more money for stuff. Next.
Here's what we did. We increased prices and we blamed inflation. W. Call it.
Go ahead. 5% increase. Yeah, but they actually raised prices 5%, so the numbers are down. Right, well, we've sold less, but the prices are higher, so we're winning.
Davidoff says the sales of eponymous, eponymous, eponymous, it's eponymous, hip-hop, hip-hop, hip-hoponomous. Optimus? No, E-P-O-N-Y-M-O-U-S. Okay, I got nothing.
1%. That was all law. All law. All law.
100% all law. 1% of law. The company has factory operations in Dominican Republic, Honduras. 5 million.
Boom. They made less cigars, made more money. There you go. Oh, they increased the price.
It's just math. Wow, it's crazy. Who would have thought? We don't need this guy.
I will tell you this, though. They have their business to business portal and all the stuff on the back end. Again, some of the things that they do are next level for sure, you know, and I got a feeling that next year you're going to be looking at this and you're going to say, Camacho numbers are surging and that's because of that one guy. One hundred percent.
Yeah, their user interface is very, very helpful. Getting data, looking at prior invoices, it's very, very streamlined. So, as much as I like to poke fun and give them a hard time, they're doing a lot of things right. Yeah, right.
But there's also, you know, slide the credit card, pay a fee, shipping charges. That just don't always line up correctly. But if you break an X amount of a number, you get free shipping. Yeah, yeah, right, but you're still going to charge for the credit card slide.
Of course, yeah, yeah, that's perfectly fine, you know, yeah, that makes sense. How else are you going to pay for it? It's the key fee. What do you mean a key fee?
How are you going to drive it? How are you going to start it, you know? Would you like to buy the key? We have those.
Yeah, yeah. The car is $40,000. The keys are in a $700 key fee here. What is that for?
How are you going to start the car? Right. You like wheels? We have wheels.
Yeah. Did you want tires with that? Yeah, we did. No, no.
Tires are extra. Wheels and then tires. Oh, I'm very sorry. Okay.
All right, it's time for the industry's favorite game. What's the score? Players hear clues from a Half Wheel Cigar review and try to predict the score before it's revealed. As more details are shared, the challenge gets easier.
Or does it? The closest guess to the actual score wins the round. Can you read between the lines and predict the score? Let's play, what's the score?
The fact that he has this is ridiculous. Why would you give him the sparklers? That's where it was. You sat over here yesterday and whoever was there had it.
So I just left it. He's upset. He like, he really likes the sparklers. I pay good money for those sparklers.
You did actually. Actually, I gave you a really good deal on the sparklers. You had no choice. I stopped payment on the check.
You're lucky that we even paid you. That's fair. Yeah. That's fair.
I was really surprised when I got the check. " We're not that bad. You didn't pay rent for six months. Yeah.
All right, June 30th, 2021. Brooks Whittington is the reviewer. It's the German-engineered cigar, the cigar NN01. NN01.
What's the name of the cigar? 80... They're German. 87.
86. Didn't say 16? No, because that's what I say for the dollar amount. Oh, sorry.
Cigar Reviewed, the German-engineered cigar, the NN01. Country of origin, Dominican Republic, Factory, Tablet Calera, William Ventura. Wrapper, undisclosed. Binder, undisclosed.
Filler, undisclosed. Length, 7x48, it's a Churchill. And it's German. And it's German.
They smoked 3. 85. 84. Clue number 1.
He's just patting it. He's just close to me is what he's doing. I can't hear him because he's speaking very softly and I don't have headphones. Look at what he's doing.
He's saying you're amazing, you know all sorts of things, and you're an asset to any company that you've ever worked for. Very good. CNN 01 delivers a creamy, refined flavor profile highlighted by floral notes, leather, cedar, and cocoa nibs. It's an excellent, nuanced smoke that stays smooth from start to finish.
89. 87. Clue #2. The draw is consistently excellent throughout the cigar, producing dense, plentiful smoke with an easy pull that enhances the overall smoking experience.
90. 88. Clue number three, construction is inconsistent. Multiple cigars required touch-ups.
One sample suffered from filler that wouldn't stay lit, despite repeated lights, and the ash was notably flaky, hurting an otherwise enjoyable experience. 86. 85. I was just doing it again.
Look, he's doing it again. It was just to be close to Greg, close to Mike. That's what I do. Yeah, that's what I do.
He's saying I should wear a black shirt because he's not my ears. Final thought, I love the fact that there are different companies trying new things in a relatively small industry, but the overall experience I had with the NN01 can only be described as extremely frustrating. Oh. Although the somewhat linear profile eclipsed by a chlorine floral note that permeated the palette and finish was a problem that only got worse as a cigar burned down.
The larger issue was the abysmal construction. On the first sample, the cigar would not stay lit for more than about two minutes at a time, which in turn forced multiple relights. One bad apple should not spoil the whole bunch, but even at its best, the NN01 wasn't a cigar that got me excited. I want to try one of these cigars.
We've never had any. We see them all the time. We never get one. What?
We see them at the show every time, but we make fun of them pretty heavy, so I don't want to go talk to them. You should go talk to them. I don't want to get beat up. I don't want to get beat up by a bunch of Germans.
They're known to be angry. I don't know what they say. They're known to be angry. You are the one that says bad things about the Sancho.
No, no. I have seen you. I have seen your show. I have seen your show.
It is not funny. We are not associated with the Nazis. You stop with them. Oh, my God.
Oh, my God. Holy moly! Oh, jeez! Limited edition, third right, coming soon.
Oh, boy. You don't know what NN01 stands for. I'm gonna roll down here to 84. Oof.
83. You went the right way! 72! We would like half our money back.
Yeah, it's the only one worked. Oh, did you see that one exploded halfway up? Yeah, it did. Just the one, just the other one.
Maybe it needs to be shaken or stirred or something. Shaken, not stirred. All right, cigar number two, October 23rd, 2021, Charlie Minato. This is where he loses the entire thing.
Blackbird Cigar Company. Mmmmmm. It is the Blackbird Macaw. Macaw!
Ah, ah! You want me to go first? That was more a crow. Yes, you are the winner, Gregory.
Oh, is that how it works? No, actually, I do one, then you do one. He says, he's wearing the same hat that I normally wear. Yeah.
Oh, yeah, look at that. 88. 85. Cigar Reviewed's a Blackbird Macaw.
It's a Blackbird Macaw, it's from the Dominican Republic, at the factory is Blackbird, Dominicana-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la. What year was this? 2021. Okay.
Go ahead. Rapper, Brazil. Brazil. Binder, Indonesian.
Indonesian. Filler, Dominican Republic. Ratata. And, USA, Pennsylvania.
Oh, USA. USA. Five and an eighth by 58, Robusto Gordo. Five and one eighth?
Five and one eighth by 58. Okay. Robusto Gordo. So it's kind of stumpy like that guy is D.
Yes. Okay. It doesn't say how many they smoked. Smoked for review is blank.
We don't know how many we smoked. We just winged this one. They were so good we could not count. Okay.
Gregory? 88. 85. Clue number one.
The Blackbird Macaw offers a complex, meaningful flavor profile with notes of cedar, creaminess, Coffee, Citrus, Kiwi, Leather, Pepper, Creating an Engaging Smoking Experience with Plenty of Transitions. Sticking with 88. 85. He doesn't know where to go, Michael, without you going first.
I know. That's why I said this is where I take the feel here. Right here. Clue number two.
When construction is on point, the draw and smoke production are excellent, with two of the three samples burning well after the initial lighting and delivering a rich, satisfying amount of smoke. So by Charlie's calculation, it can taste like shit, but it drew fine, 97. Yes. Did very well.
89. 85. Clue number three. Construction consistency is a major concern.
Uh-oh. One sample suffered from severe burn issues requiring constant touch-ups before ultimately being unsmokable due to a binder that would not stay lit. That sounds like the other one. -Unsmokable.
-Unsmokable. Significantly impacting the overall experience. -Hmm. -82.
-Yeah, um, 84. -Final thought. While most of the last thousand words or so have largely focused on what went wrong with the Blackbird Macaw, I like to focus on the other two cigars. Those cigars were good, not great.
The profile was a fuller experience than I had on most cigars of late, and delivered some interesting flavors that I think largely worked. It's not the best Blackbird I smoke, which runs counter to the design of the cigar, but your larger issue might be the price. Even at its best, I don't think this cigar is good enough to justify the $16 price point, particularly compared to the many other cigars Blackbird makes and sells. Then of course, there's the first cigar I smoked, it certainly destroyed the rating you see next to these words, and it unfortunately will probably be my lasting impression of the cigar for all the wrong reasons.
Hmm. Gregory? Greg? 79.
I think you went too low. 82. You went the wrong way! Wow!
74. - Oh! - Wow. - Oh, you got both of them.
- You got both! - Yay! - It's 'cause it was the second round. First round, you only got one.
- Yeah. - Second round, you get the most. - Two. - Yeah.
- Very good. - Who played, uh, what's the score? I didn't watch the entire show from yesterday. - Rosales.
- Oh, you called Rosales on the phone? - Mm-hmm. - Oh, I saw it on the teleprompter. I was trying to figure out if you played against Jackson.
That would've been kinda weird. - Very. - He would've beat you. - Maybe.
