Transcript

Welcome to a Cigar Hustler

podcast episode 536.

I'm Mike Palmer, your host, and

in engineering Today we have

Mikey send all packages care of

Palmer at Cigar Hustler.

Did you bring the gift today?

No, that's why you should send.

That it was really close too.

I was really close to bringing

it and I had it and it was it.

I had to make a choice.

What was the two choices?

Not bring it or bring it.

I had to either carry it out or

eat my bring my muffin and my

coffee.

Oh, will it not fit your

backpack?

No.

How big is this thing?

It's big enough to not fit my

backpack and also large enough

to disappoint you when you get

it.

Sounds like prom night.

All right, there's my ghost.

We have, as you just heard,

Triple G, who is just hours away

from departing to Peru.

Yes, that's true.

That's true.

So I have looked up and I have a

phrase for you to say to

I'm not going to buy this.

It can't be good.

Oh, I have money tango.

Money Tango, Plata.

Tango Plata.

Hello Hola.

brother.

Right, exactly.

That's what my mom likes it

best.

Money, money.

Also is the Ubers and private

trains he puts her on and

everything.

Yeah.

It's amazing on today's show.

Amazon sure does deliver.

KFC is bringing it back.

Maybe we don't.

They might get bumped again.

Today, maybe we cover it, maybe

we don't.

Yesterday's car video

information.

Oh, OK.

TSA is making changes again.

Excellent.

And load up, boys, it's time to

the past, some shipping news and

a What's the score that proves

I'm waiting for it, That green

light.

I want it.

What it proves I can't read.

Well, there was one from a SO.

Many words.

And it made more sense before I

read it.

And now it doesn't.

Now it doesn't, but it will when

we play What's the score?

little bit more inside baseball.

Gives you a little more in depth

look at some of the things that

are going on in the industry,

the who's who's, the people who

are screwing people over

sometimes and all the good

stuff.

As well as a cigar review,

right?

It's hard to believe there's

stuff that we save for that

show.

But there is.

There is, there is, because

imagine what it is.

Because at this point we get in

trouble for stuff that we don't

even say on the show.

Right.

That's true.

Some comments, some comments

from I'm going to I'm going to

put it on both of you guys.

Let me see what this does.

There it is.

OK, some comments.

Plata.

From Tango Plata.

No Tango Plata.

No Tango Plata.

Tango Plata mucho.

All right, let's see some

comments from the previous show.

Lightning 1993, says Phil.

There is.

Oh, wait, that's old.

Let me see this.

Hold on.

Hold on one job OK TX southpaw

42O2 says took me a second

listen took me a second listen

through.

But who?

As a as a dad of a toddler, Mike

Wazowski is the little green

monster for Monsters Inc Yeah,

I'm not going to speak about

what we're referencing there on

that one, but yes, yes, indeed.

Mike Wazowski Mike Wazowski Ben

Rowland 6241 says Palmer fumble

effing into.

Sazerac.

Sazerac is a bourbon or

something.

They make great bourbon.

Yeah, I know.

My left from my right, Ben.

Yeah.

So.

There's that.

Greg, do you know you're left

from your right?

Yes, you do.

OK, that's good.

That makes three of us, except

for Ben.

Ben's wife says he does not.

He does not Does did he have to

get the tattoos for this hand to

yell and this well, the.

R feeder tattooed.

So I said maybe you should put

AL and an R on his feet.

Yeah, that's nice.

But no, Apparently no.

He has problems with the righty

tighty, lefty loosey thing.

Yes.

At Texas Softball also said

getting the emergency vehicle,

hat trick, police car, fire and

medical vehicles all in one day

sounds like an interesting life

side quest or a terrible day.

Oh ACH pod game, we would need

pictures.

Yeah, if you want to hear your

comment, read aloud on the show,

just come and blow.

And we may or may not read it

out.

If it's funny or if it's not

funny or if I just want to read

it, I may do it.

I'm or I may skip it.

I don't know.

It could happen.

So if you want to stand a chance

of doing it, just go ahead and

comment below on with the show.

And Amazon driver saved a

woman's life after spotting A

brutal attack unfolding in her

house and calling police.

OK, that sounds bad.

Authorities say a 72 year old

James Allen Johnson has been

charged with attempted murder

and assault with a deadly weapon

after allegedly attacking his

wife with a hammer inside their

home.

Hammer is my favorite.

It's a go to, you know.

Well, I mean, everybody used to

got 1, so you know, generally

speaking.

We all don't have hammers.

According to investigators, the

victim told police Johnson

struck her in the head twice

before she managed to fight him

off by kicking him in the crotch

while he was on top of her.

But police say the assault was

witnessed by the Amazon driver

outside the home, who

immediately called 911 for help.

OK, what do?

What do you think?

She said before it got to

hammer.

Yeah, what did she like?

There had to be something that

happened.

How did she?

Pre hammer to get to the level

of hammer.

Right.

There had to be something that

she did not that she deserved

being hit by the hammer.

Listen to you 2 sexist bastards.

I'm not.

I'm not.

Saying I'm not saying that she

deserved.

It What did she do?

Saying something ticked the man

off.

It's not like he was sitting

there watching his shows.

He goes.

She wasn't sitting there quietly

doing a crossword.

Puzzle.

You know that hammer looks like

it might hurt.

Come here, honey.

You don't know that she could

have been doing the crossword.

Puzzle I highly doubt.

It maybe he was mad that she was

doing his crossword puzzle.

And then straight to hammer.

There's no discussion first.

Yeah, you don't know, you know.

Put down my effing crossword.

Puzzle.

Yeah, that's my Sudoku.

Right.

Seems like it's got to escalate.

Gradually, yeah, something

'cause he hit her twice.

You don't know.

You don't know that.

And he had her pinned to the

ground.

He could just be an unstable

person.

Also did he hit her with like

the the blunt part of the hammer

or the hook?

We.

Just don't know.

That that's two different levels

of hammer.

I'm assuming the front end.

I mean, and then what type of

hammer, was it a, you know, a

sturdy like DeWalt hammer or was

it like one of those little baby

hammers that you use for, you

know?

I like to imagine, oh the little

baby, the tiny one for the

little home repairs.

Yeah, You know, you get you

where you get rolled, where you

order one on Amazon, you're

like, this is going to be a

great hammer.

Then it comes in and it's, you

know, 110 scale or something.

I like the dead hit hammer

because it doesn't bounce back.

You know, the ones with the sand

in it.

Oh, the sledgehammer.

Yeah, it's not a sledgehammer,

but it's for forceful movement,

you know?

I like the ball.

Peen hammer.

You just like saying ball peen.

It's a ball peen.

Yeah, ball, peen hammer.

I got to be honest.

There's not really a hook on

that one either.

No, there's not.

Just that big round for

striking, not on the end.

I'm not really a hammer kind of

guy, you know?

Well, you have, you know, you

like to hit things.

I have AI, have punching and I

have a Greg.

Greg has hammers.

I do.

I have a lot of hammers.

He has a wall full of hammers,

actually.

I have a wall full of hammers,

but those hammers don't get

used.

Yeah.

Well, they have been.

They have been used.

They have been retired.

Yes, those are retired hammers.

Those are retired hammers.

Yeah, so I have a Greg who has

hammers and then I now I have a

Kenny and Kenny's pretty

awesome.

He has a good, he has some

hammers as well.

Kenny.

Who is?

Who is the Kenny?

Kenny's my friend.

He's like the what's the other

guy's name for the football?

What's his name?

Preston.

He's like Preston, only he's a

pretty cool dude.

He's a lot cooler.

You see the guy that lives down

the.

Street.

You know, you were so close to

dropping something awesome there

and then you just walked it back

like he's close to the prep.

He's cool.

Well, I I didn't want to seem

insulting.

Oh, you already seem sexist.

I mean, why not?

Sexist.

I'm just saying something

happened before we went to

Hammer.

Yeah, What'd she do?

What'd she do?

What did she say?

Is what I said?

Yeah, exactly.

You know what?

He asked for the sandwich.

It's not her.

It's not his fault.

Yeah, give me a cheese sandwich.

I like the.

Sandwich.

You think that's what it was?

She fucked up a sandwich.

She put the mayonnaise on the

wrong side of the cheese.

I hope this guy goes to jail

forever.

Yeah, he's in jail.

I don't know about forever, but

he they got him for attempted

murder.

Yeah, it's a pretty good one.

I've I've switched my angle, if

you can tell.

Look at this now, I'm living my

best life.

What do you do?

It looks like you're leaving the

room.

Very comfortable.

Oh, you.

Want us to move the camera?

So yeah, I know Kenny is Kenny's

awesome Kenny and Kenny has

hammers.

Does Kenny live down the street

from you to fix his cars in his

garage?

Is that Kenny?

No, What's his name?

I can't remember his name.

I don't even know who you're

talking about.

He went with us to a couple of

cigar things.

He lives down the street.

I thought he lived down the

street ish.

Or he lives near you.

Oh, that, That might be Kenny.

Yeah.

We brought him to Fort.

The great smoke or something.

We took him down South.

No, we didn't.

It was, it wasn't great smoke.

It was Palmer's place.

Oh, breast pipe.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's

right.

Breast Pipe.

That's Kenny.

Yeah.

That's Kenny.

Yeah, I like Kenny.

Yeah, I like Kenny.

Kenny help me install a took a

single sink and turn into a dual

sink.

Oh yeah, beautiful work I

inspected.

Yeah, Greg looked at it and said

wow, this is incredible.

Then I went to, I went to

Brittany.

I said did my brother do this?

And she said no.

No, there's no way.

No way.

But now Greg's just going.

Now I don't have to go back to

his house and do things.

I'm like, yeah, I'm like Henry

Ford.

I just know a guy that can fix

the.

Problem.

It's like here when APS moved

down the thing.

He doesn't do anything here

anymore either.

APS.

Yeah, when they used to do

repairs before their repairs

needed repairs.

Are there repairs in need of

repairs?

Right, OK.

I don't know where we're going

with that, but OK.

All right, KFC just brought back

the favorite.

A fan favorite.

Favorite.

A fan favorite.

It's your favorite.

It's a favorite and my favorite.

Favorite.

Now don't say what it is,

Michael, because you looked it

up.

I know.

What do you think?

What do you think?

It is Greg?

Greg, what do you think?

KFC Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Tacos.

That doesn't.

It brought back tacos.

Well, it doesn't seem like it's

going to make sense, whatever it

is they're bringing back.

That doesn't track bro, Come on.

Yeah, it does.

This fits.

Tacos.

Sure.

Yeah, Tacos is.

Chicken tacos.

Just straight chicken tacos.

Chicken tacos.

No, that's ridiculous.

That's ridiculous.

Yeah.

You don't eat out much, do you?

I don't eat KFC much.

Yeah, because you know, tango

Plata.

Tango Plata.

Yeah, Tango Plata goes to the

nice places.

Right Tango Plata does not go to

KFC for the $10 bucket.

I'm your manservant for this

evening.

My name is.

Did you get us a card for is it

Christian's Steakhouse or

something like Christeners?

Yeah, Christeners.

Yeah, we went there last night.

Oh, finally.

Good it only took you a year and

a half.

But we made it.

Yeah, super expensive, not

equivalent to the price.

You didn't like it?

Well, it's not that I didn't

like it.

I mean like for about 20% less

it would have made sense.

For 20% less.

Yeah, like all the plates were

anywhere in between like 75 to

100 bucks, right?

So it should be a certain level

at that price, I would think.

And it was more or less like,

you know, $50 a plate.

That would have made sense.

Did it come with the sides?

No, you got to do those

separate.

I hate the fancy.

Joints like that you got to do

the side.

Separate the Ali carts, yeah.

I like.

You know what?

I'm spending $75.

Give me a damn baked potato.

Yeah.

That's not how it works.

You need to pay another 30 for

the baked potato.

Exactly.

Now I know why he's Tango Plata,

right?

Because he's so curmudging with

his cash.

Oh, this is so expensive.

Well, he doesn't go to KFC

because if he did, he could get

fried Pickles fried just in time

for summer.

The tangy breaded Pickles are

now available at KFC locations

nationwide in an 8 piece serving

with your choice of dipping

sauces such as the restaurant's

new Jalapeno Ranch and Honey

Chili Crisp.

Are they just fried or are they

breaded and fried?

I would imagine the breaded and

fried it's KFC 7 herbs and

spices on those.

Pickles, yeah.

What would have been then?

They're just hot Pickles.

I got to be honest, you said 8

pieces of fried Pickles.

I think there's a Spears.

I don't think there's the the

disk.

You know, that kind of seems

like a lot of Pickles.

Yeah, that's, that's too much.

Yeah, I think it's 8 little

slices of the disk.

Yeah.

When you get fried Pickles out

of the restaurant and stuff you

get like 20 or 30.

Yeah, I know, that's what I'm

saying.

This sounds like a RIP off.

So you think there's not enough?

Yeah.

If it's the discs, if it's a

whole pickle that's fried, it's

way too much pickle.

That's excessive pickle.

It's a Spears.

It's a pickle cut into four

pieces.

I don't think that that's what

it is.

I don't know either, but I'm

going to get some to try.

We like fried Pickles at my

house.

Fried Pickles are amazing yes,

but if you I just want you to

know you already better order

like 4. 4 servings.

There's only two of us.

Yeah, you can't crush it. 16

Pickles per No.

I bet you could.

No, she doesn't eat much

anymore.

You can't crush 24 and her 8.

I cannot crush 24 Pickles and

still eat my $10 bucket of

chicken.

Yes, you can.

No, I believe in is.

A bucket of chicken?

Really, $10?

I saw a commercial last night.

They're running a special every

day of the week.

There's a different $10 bucket.

One day it's wings.

One day it's strips.

One day it's Nuggets.

That's super impressive.

Now you're talking tango Plata

style right there.

Now he wants.

To go now I want to try.

KFC on the way to Peru Honey,

can we stop at KFC and get?

Some sense, hey, they made, I

heard they made tacos, but we're

not, we're not interested in

those.

Going to get some Pickles and a

bucket of chicken we can.

Get all the tacos we can get in

Peru, yeah?

Because.

Because Tango Plata.

The pickle craze is here to

stay, said Melissa Cash,

CMOKFCUSA.

Where you can where we can put

the flavour of the fried pickle

on a napkin and you can taste

it.

CMO is that chief money officer?

Marketing officer Dum dum Oh, I

thought.

It had something to do with

chicken.

Yeah.

When it comes to money, it's

CFO.

Look, they make up things all

the time.

What's his name?

Is the CIO now?

Yeah, I hate those titles.

CIO.

Yeah, G Chad, whatever it's.

STI now.

The response to our fried

Pickles last summer proved that

demand is still strong.

We're building on that momentum

by bringing them back to our

menu.

This time, fans can pair them

fried Pickles with our bold new

sauces and refreshing lemonade.

All they have a new lemonade.

What's the best place would

like?

Who has the best lemonade

faster?

This is an easy layup.

Who has the best lemonade?

Yeah.

No, you've already blown it,

Greg.

Who do you got?

You talking about like fast food

places?

Yeah yeah, again, disqualified

all organic.

I got it.

Okay, yeah.

Tango.

Tango pot the non-GMO is what

he's all about.

Gluten free shit right there.

Look at.

The farm grown at his house.

I don't eat McDonald's, I don't

eat Burger King.

I don't eat Taco Bell.

I don't eat KFC.

No, I I don't eat the.

Chickens at my house Omega the

egg and I like the egg.

I I do eat those eggs.

I eat the delicious egg I.

Don't eat the eggs.

And the raccoon eat the chicken.

Raccoon has eaten many a

chicken.

Many a chicken.

So you're going to tell us who

has the best?

Lemonade.

You're like a Polish hillbilly

at this point.

You know what I mean?

Like, it's so confusing.

Makes no sense.

Vernon.

Erin.

Erin.

Erin, are you going?

To tell us who has the best

lemonade, Michael.

Are you gonna get a sheep?

You should get a sheep.

She does want a cow, but the

problem is we live in an HO.

What?

The hell are you gonna do with a

cow?

Get a mini cow for a mini.

What are?

You gonna do with the cow?

She wants she wants a cow.

Are you gonna butcher it Needed.

That would be.

I'd be OK with it at that point.

A pet, then they get them

anyway.

Like the tortoise now is allowed

to like roam the patio freely.

You have a tortoise.

We have a tortoise, yeah.

Roams the patio, Yeah, not the

yard.

No, no, no, because it's still

too small.

The the the Hawks and the owls

will take out the the the

tortoise.

So who gets the tortoise when

you both die?

Axel.

Who gets it when he dies?

Yeah, that's that's the fun

part.

Is that his problem?

That's the fun part, yeah.

Yeah.

Just messing up people's lives

after we die.

You.

Get a parrot too.

Yeah, they do.

Don't mention that around my

wife, please.

There's this parrot I started

following on social media.

It's just white 1 and it doesn't

sleep at night.

It runs up and down the hall,

knocking on the door that.

Is amazing.

With it's big one and it talks

to Alexa and hasn't played loud

music.

That is amazing.

Are you sure that's not AI

generated?

It doesn't look like it, yeah.

That bird's got to go.

Yeah, no kidding.

I'd kill that bird after that

first night.

Like you're done and you're

done.

Here banging on my bedroom door.

Yeah, so the lemonade.

Yeah, the lemonade.

Who's making the lemonade?

Who's got the best lemonade?

Chick-fil-A, bro.

Not even close.

I.

Know you're going to say

Chick-fil-A.

I don't get it at Chick-fil-A.

We don't go to Chick-fil-A.

I hate the.

Line.

You know what?

Actually, I have eaten

Chick-fil-A.

It's not bad.

Yeah, exactly.

The Lord's chicken.

I I've eaten that's.

Right, the line's it too long.

I don't like going there.

They're very efficient.

They have great customer

service.

Apparently great lemonade.

Next time I go I'll have to try

it.

You need.

To it is good.

I have had it before, yeah.

I'm not a real big lemonade guy,

but I'll have to try it, it's

obvious.

On Mother's Day, when we went

shopping in DeLand, one of the

stores had you.

Spoiled her and took her to

Chick-fil-A, no.

No, we I figured where we took

her, but anyway.

Come on honey, let's go.

They had free strawberry

lemonade.

Yeah, that's ridiculous.

Boutique store that she went

into to look around.

I had 7 glasses.

Mother's Day is on a Sunday.

You already pee a lot.

That would have been a hell of a

day.

I was like, oh I'm so bloated.

Like we had 7 glasses of

lemonade.

It was hot.

Anyway, they're making a

signature prickly pear lemonade.

It wasn't Father's Day.

What are you talking about?

Who's making prickly pear?

KFC.

That's how we got on the

lemonade.

Oh, that sounds terrible.

Prickly pear.

I'm not a big Pear fan.

Are the quantities going to be

the same as the fried Pickles?

Right, You get 8 glasses you

get.

Is it a quarter glass or is it a

full glass?

Small little shot glasses.

Yeah, shot glasses you.

Get 8 shots of prickly pear.

Prickly pear glass OK.

All right, yesterday's car

video.

Yeah, the explosion.

Yes, we covered the explosion

down, Greg by the bull down in

New York City.

Yeah, in New York.

I heard about that.

Have they determined what it was

yet?

No.

What do you mean?

No, That's curious.

That means they're probably just

not talking about it.

Here's the information they

have.

The car erupted into flames near

Broadway and Stone St. in lower

Manhattan on Wednesday evening,

sending thick smoke into the air

and drawing crowds of shocked

onlookers.

Dramatic video shared online on

the Citizens app showed the

vehicle fully engulfed in flames

before FDNY crews arrived, and

they quickly brought the fire

under control.

No injuries were reported, but

photos from the aftermath showed

the car completely torched after

the blaze was extinguished by

first responders.

The cause of the explosion

remains unknown.

Terrorist.

Well, you would think somebody,

if it was terrorist, you think

somebody would claim it by now.

They don't usually blow

something up and go was it to

me?

Not if it's some young bucks

like some, you know, angry

children or something like that,

you know, emotionally unstable.

The only thing they did say is

that the inside of the car was

on fire first, so maybe somebody

lit their cigar in the ashtray

next to a paper.

Card or zoo?

Yeah, cigar wouldn't work.

You'd need some sort of like

accelerant in there really to do

it, yeah.

Well, they had a glass of

gasoline sitting in the.

I mean, if that's the case,

that's apparently possible.

Lighter fluid, I think they had

a small glass of the prickly

pear with.

The pickle juice that's leftover

from the fried.

Pickles to the Pickles that they

ate.

Apparently it's highly

flammable. 24 Pickles they had

it's.

Like mixing napalm.

Yeah, it's wild.

So, so to be determined.

We don't know what happened, but

car Kaplui.

We'll try to keep up on it, but

they're they're not saying what

it was.

I thought figured by now they

would know why.

Oh, they know or what?

They know that.

That's what I mean.

Like at this point they do know

there's a reason why they're not

releasing.

We believe they know we.

Believe allegedly.

Yes, yeah, they know whose car

it was, what started it.

Yeah.

Fire inspectors are amazing.

The the time that I accidentally

burnt down our boss's office,

the fire inspector walked in,

looked around like this.

After 30 seconds, he goes, what

was right here and the owner of

the joint says garbage can.

He says this is your point of

origin.

Most likely a cigarette that was

thrown out at the end of the

night and that guy just walked

out.

They're they're smart.

And who threw out that

cigarette?

Great.

Yeah, we don't.

We don't discuss.

Who threw out that cigarette?

Discuss that statue of

limitations.

Probably up on arson by now.

Yeah, yeah, who did like to

admit to it here on the Cigar

Hustler podcast it.

Was like $120,000 worth of

damage.

It stayed confined to the

office, but it was bad You're.

Leaving the country and

everything.

It's a perfect time to admit to

it, Greg.

So who did it, Greg?

Tango Plata.

Tango Plata.

Tango, Mr. Tango Plata.

Mr. Tango Plata.

Interesting.

All right, Greg's heading to the

airport today.

Greg, what if you could skip the

security lines at the airport by

getting a pat down and bag check

at a remote location?

No, that wouldn't work for me.

Why not?

Because of the way that my wife

travels.

You like we arrive at the

airport all of 5-6 minutes

before they start boarding.

It's TSA pre-check all that.

And you know, as we're walking

onto the plane, we are the last

ones walking through the door

and the everyone is just very

angry at us.

How?

Can you travel like that?

You just don't care if you

missed the flight you missed.

The flight, yeah, if you if

another one.

Right.

Yeah.

You just call the private jet in

and they just come and pick you.

Up there is no private jet

that's.

Good, you have one on standby

just in case you missed the

flight.

He's actually built his own

airlines called Triple G

Airlines.

Triple G Airlines.

Yeah, it's incredible.

Yeah.

Well anyway, that's what some

travellers flying out of Logan

Airport in Boston we able to do

starting June 1st as the TSA

attempts to relieve congestion

inside the terminal at a drop

off point.

OK, so they have a building off

site.

That makes no sense.

So you're going to get checked

off site, travel outside of a

building, potentially obtain

something that you shouldn't

have and then.

Just walk on.

That's not how it works.

You go to.

Well, I'm sorry.

You go to a place and you're

getting a bus and something like

that.

Right.

The initiative could expand 8

airports have been approved for

TSA St. to gate pilot program,

but for now it's just being

tested at Logan.

That's 25 miles from Logan in

less than a mile from.

I don't know why they say this 3

Duncan spot, but initially it

would only be for.

Because.

Because it's in Boston.

Oh, I got you.

Originally only be for Delta and

JetBlue passengers departing

Logan between 5:30 AM and 4:00

PM.

Here's how it will work, Greg.

Thank you.

Once you check in and clear

security, a $9 shuttle will take

you to the airport.

OK.

The last 45 minutes shuttle or

longer in Russia or the the

shuttle last 45 minutes or

longer depending on if it's

rush.

This is why it doesn't work for

us.

We have gotten in line to board

the plane and because there were

five people in front of us in

like that tube thing that you go

to the plane, the wife turns and

looks to me and says do you want

to go sit by the bar?

Like she wants to get out of

line to go and get a drink

because she wants to be the

absolute last person on the

plane.

Why is that?

She just doesn't like standing

in line.

It's a line of five people.

Yeah.

No, that doesn't like it.

Yeah.

She's 5 people.

I'm telling you has happened.

You thought about traveling with

a hammer?

Just a nice.

Move on.

A small one.

Small, yeah, just a small get

back in line, Hammer 110 scale

right, the little, the little

ones the kids get.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

It's a nice little all right

parking at the offsite facility

$7.00 a day, so that's cheap.

Yeah, that is very inexpensive.

You and your check bags will be

dropped beyond all the suckers

who are still online at security

and can't get their hands on

Aunt Annie's pretzels.

Boy, there's a lot of food

references in this store.

Because that's also at.

Is that a?

Boston thing.

Well, no, that's in a lot of

major airports.

Auntie Annie's.

Yeah, yeah.

Pretzels and this is the future.

David Sunday, the CEO of

Landline, the company that runs

the shuttle, sure thinks so.

He told the Points Guy that with

the airport running out of room,

the build off site screening is

becoming more and more

necessary.

What?

Do you think of this, Greg?

Why don't just build the airport

bigger and have more TSA people

be able to check you in like it

doesn't make sense to?

Have you ever travelled to a

major city?

Yeah, I intentionally will not

go to Atlanta.

Like that airport is just too

big.

No, it's just garbage.

It's it's garbage.

It's garbage.

There are way too many people.

It's the epicenter of the travel

world.

For Delta.

Yeah, no, we did it once and I

told my wife next time we will

drive, it will be better.

Never again.

Never again.

When we went to China and coming

back into Hong Kong, did we go

right to the airport because

they have this kind of thing set

up for the airport?

We did, and actually the second

worst experience I had was

travelling home from Japan.

It was almost as bad as Atlanta

as far as the line to be checked

in.

The line to be checked in was

almost 4 hours is.

That US or or in Japan?

That was flying from Japan to

the United States.

Got it.

Because it's just because it's

just so many people.

When I took Adrian, we missed

the connection in Japan and it,

I mean, it was terrible.

Yeah, it's horrible.

They, I mean she was getting mad

so they brought Army to stand

behind the guy, the ticket gun.

The line went all the way around

the exterior of this massive

building and it the line was so

long.

You question you like you step

up, you get to the the in line,

you tap the person on the

shoulder.

Is this the line to be checked

in through TSA?

Yes.

Anyway, Are you sure?

Because this is 7 miles long.

This makes no sense.

Yes.

Triple G son.

Yes, he is.

Triple G the line.

I immediately asked, can I just

pay to go to the front of the

line, right.

Right.

How much?

Tango Plata.

Tango Plata.

No, no.

No tango blata?

No, you stay like everybody

else.

You stay in line.

Like the rest of the heathens.

Like all of us, we don't like

Americans.

I don't think this is

necessarily a bad thing.

I don't either.

I think that like a lot of

sports teams will do something

like that where they'll get TSA

pre checked at their stadium

wherever they practice, right?

And then they get on the bus.

So they, you know, they get to

skip a lot of things that way,

you know, that'd.

Be great.

You park, you go in, you get

checked in, you dump your

luggage right there.

Yeah.

There's, there's some hotels in

Hong Kong where you can check

your luggage at the hotel.

Oh, that's nice.

And they take it to the airport.

Yeah, that that's, Greg's used

to that.

Greg stays at those.

Kind of service Greg gets.

Those sort of places.

No, when we when we travel, we

don't check luggage, we just

take a backpack.

Do you bring a toothbrush?

Usually.

Just one and share.

Yeah, she hates that.

She hates sharing toothbrush.

She hates sharing a toothbrush.

It's super weird, yeah.

That's where she draws the line,

yeah.

You guys share guys share

underwear.

No deodorant.

Deodorant.

Yeah, but I didn't know this so

about you.

Didn't know she shared your

deodorant.

Correct.

Like 3 years ago, like I, I, I

go to Alex, I'm like hey, I'm

all out of deodorant and she

says you mean we are all out of

deodorant?

I'm like, what does that mean?

She says this is our deodorant.

No wonder it.

Went down so fast.

This is getting super weird.

So on.

My spreadsheet now I have to put

down to uses every day.

OK, that.

Makes sense.

Yeah.

Yeah.

This has changed everything for

me.

Dramatic I.

Don't have to read with the

math.

So like, so is it?

Is it feminine?

Deodorant or no?

No, it's it's Old Spice Secret.

No, it's Old Spice.

Smells manly deodorant, nothing

like it was.

It was quite perplexing to me

when I discovered it, but OK,

what I.

Smell like old.

Spice, it kind of just, it's

telling us more about you than

it is about her, to be honest.

In what way you prefer

masculine?

Yeah.

Yeah, I do prefer.

Did you wear like?

You do prefer to smell like

masculine sense on me.

Didn't realize that my wife was

putting on Old Spice.

But when you smell her, you just

thought it was.

Yours.

She wears a lot of perfume.

Brute like fabricated brute

karate.

This is.

Our Cologne, Little Dakar Noir

there, you know, kicking at old

school polo Polo.

I like my CK1.

Honey, what is that?

It's amazing.

It's polo.

It's ours.

It's ours.

I got it from your drunk.

I can't wait for the fan out on

this one.

It's going to be epic.

So I mean, how big a backpack

are you taking?

Well, I mean, do you look like

those hippie heathens that you

know that you?

No, it's not.

It's a giant backpack and you've

got a bucket hat on.

No, it's not.

It's not.

It's not a massive backpack at

all.

Because, you know, for Jesus.

Sandals.

For what?

What?

What are you bringing?

You bringing 5 black T-shirts, a

hat, a jacket 2.

Jeans.

Our black tissue, No.

She she has her own backpack.

Oh.

No, with her.

Black.

I have no idea what goes inside

her back.

I have.

No, Yeah, that's not true.

This is the one backpack and

it's our backpack.

No.

It's there.

There are two backpacks.

Yeah, there are two.

Honey, I'm out of shirts.

I'm not.

I just finished wearing.

Your hand.

I just, I'm dying.

These are our black shoes.

Mine will not fit you underwear.

Do you share underwear?

Yeah, well, no, you don't share.

I already asked that.

Underwear.

I already asked that question.

Oh, did you already ask the

underwear?

Yeah, I'm very excited.

Yeah.

Got to keep up.

Wow.

OK, I'm still trying to picture

Greg with just a backpack.

Yeah, it's it's just a backpack.

Jesus, sandals, cut offs.

No, no, no, we travel.

I mean boots.

He wears the boots.

Boots in the bathing.

Suit He does have a pair of flip

flops.

TT Plaza only solo Booto.

Solo, maybe when he gets out of

the country he goes, you know,

rogue or whatever it is.

I was native.

No, I mean like if we go to the

beach I'll wear sandals, but

that's about the only

justifiable reason to wear

sandals for me outside of the

house.

How often do you go to the

beach?

Actually, we were just there

this weekend.

Wore sandals.

He could.

Barely.

He could barely walk on one day.

Because.

Because he's wearing the

sandals.

Well, that and he was jumping up

and down in the ocean.

They make me fall down.

They're very loose.

I don't.

Know I'm not used to the

lightweight footwear.

Oh God, Well, who?

Who made the joke that when I

take off all my jewelry I walk

around like this?

I do.

Did that make a short clip?

It must have.

Yeah, I guess so.

He's.

Walking around Peru with his

hand in it.

Yeah.

Yes, Sir.

You have a question.

Yeah.

No, no, no, no.

No, just you didn't wear to

watch it, no.

No, I just know.

I just know how we travel.

And I know that if I bring my

jewelry, the TSA will slow us

down and we'll miss our plane.

Well, he's afraid to get robbed.

Yeah, yeah, that too.

When you go to Peru, you're

going to wear the blanket with

the hole in the middle for your

shirt.

No, I can't remember where that

things go.

A poncho.

Poncho.

That would be probably close

enough.

Sombrero, no.

Little black cowboy hat?

No.

But the flat 1, like a bull

letter.

It's.

Jeans, a black T-shirt and a

ball cap aren't.

You going to be hot with jeans.

It's got to be hot there.

Actually, it's relatively cool

there right now.

Yeah, you, you got to understand

he's got to minimize his

accessories because he has to

carry massively large amounts of

cash with him wherever he goes.

So he doesn't, you know.

Tango Blanta.

Tango Blanta.

OK, All right. the United States

charged Castro with conspiracy

to kill Americans in an attack

against civilian pilots who are

trying to rescue people.

Castro, the 90 year old Castro,

the one that used to be in

charge long time ago.

OK, Attorney General Todd

Blanche announced at a Wednesday

news conference.

If you kill Americans, we will

pursue you no matter who you

are, no matter what title you

hold, and in this Case, No

matter how much time is passed

like 20 years ago.

No statute of limitation on

killing Americans.

No, no, no, no, no.

I mean, what are we going to do

now?

He's not like he's here.

I.

Still want to know what's going

on, what happened on that damn

island, but meanwhile we're

going to go out to this 90 year

old.

Yeah, I mean.

You're talking about the Epstein

island, That's correct.

Yeah, he's going to be dead

soon.

Yeah, we we don't get to talk

about it.

This is the guy with the trucker

hat that just hangs out and

doesn't do anything anymore.

Are they going to send the SEAL

Team 12 down and just snatch

this guy up?

They can do that.

They're going.

To Well, we've done it before.

They can.

Do that, Yeah.

I mean, that was pretty

impressive.

I don't see the sense in it, you

know what I mean?

At this point, I think that you

could just throw a rock at Cuba

and they may just, we could see

we're done.

We have no gas.

We're no, there's no food.

No food and you want this guy?

Come get him.

This is ours.

This is ours.

The allegations date back to

1996, accusing Castro of

ordering Cuban fighter.

They have fighters, fighter

pilots.

They well, they have paper

airplanes and what they do is

they get in them and they say.

Yeah, he ordered fighter jet

pilots to shoot down to civilian

planes.

That was all the Rockets they

had.

They could only.

Shoot, how was it?

And now we're done.

Each plane had one rocket.

Yeah.

They were working under

humanitarian group Brothers to

Rescue.

Four members of Brothers to

Rescue were killed.

The move comes amid increase

apprehension about potentially

potential U.S. military actions

in Cuba following Trump's

repeated threats against the

island nation.

Except he said that there will

be no escalations.

Because we want this guy.

Again, why now?

I love Cuba.

Yeah, like all of a sudden, why

now?

Because they've been

investigating this since 1996

and they found out he did say

shoot down Tango Blada.

Look, you know, I don't, I

honestly, I don't know, but

here's what I would.

It sounds to me it's just

speculative here, but it sounds

like it's just a big thing where

he's just trying to take pieces

off the board so that America

has more power globally, right?

You remove Venezuela, you you

try and restructure Cuba.

And you know, at that point you

really kind of solidified.

But what the hell do I know?

I mean, whatever.

Well, this guy's not in charge

of anything.

He's just a a cratchitty old

man.

I know it's like, but hey, but

what else are we going to talk

about when it comes to Cuba?

Oh yeah, well, we hate this guy

now, you know what I mean?

Like.

Oh, OK, we're mad at this guy.

Let's go get him.

We're, we're just trying to

keep, we're just trying to keep

the tempo up to not, you know.

Since there's not a Castro

really in charge anymore, let's

go find one that's still.

Alive Strait of Hormuz.

No, no, no.

Let's talk about Cuba.

Talking about.

Cuba, it's a lot closer.

Oh, it's so much cheaper to get

somebody from that one.

Yeah, what do you think, Greg?

You got Ash all over your shirt,

by the way.

Oh, thank you.

Yeah, that's what this guy is

supposed to do.

Appreciate it.

Yep.

Yes.

One more Well, they're just

going after Castro.

I hope they don't go after our

Castro upstairs.

I mean, we see him every day.

He might be related, could be,

never know.

I don't think he shot anybody

to.

No, he's always on the phone

though.

Well, ordering things shut up.

Somebody listens super weird.

And he's always.

Cold.

He's very cold, very cold.

Very.

Cold.

I heard he was sitting out front

of the deck shirtless though.

One day.

That has happened before, yeah.

It was warming up.

That has happened, right?

Like an iguana, right?

Laying out there.

Oh, it's so nice.

All right, Michael, you got a

video?

I do not.

Oh, Greg, you got a video?

I do not have a video.

Nobody has a video.

No, I'm I'm still living in

Defcon two over here for all the

all the things that are going

wrong with the website and

wholesale distribution and

flooding.

Water lines breaking and you

know, it's been a great week.

And Greg's leaving the country,

so we're.

Going to and Greg's going to go

on vacation, right?

Yeah, yeah.

See you later.

He's been taxed.

With all the extra things.

To be fair, this was scheduled

long before the water line

broke.

Oh my God, there's so many

problems going on.

You know what I'm going to get

the hell out of?

Here, that's exactly I would

thank.

You so much.

Honey, can we move it up a day?

Man, I can't wait a month.

Can we extend it a month?

There's a lot of turbulence

going on at Cigar Hustle.

Can we just get the hell out of

here and we don't?

Want to miss the flight on the

way home?

Nobody will think anything.

About it yeah, they'll say oh

you're not going to believe

this.

My wife, she didn't get in line.

She hated there's there's two

people in front of us.

That's.

What all that story was, it was

a setup for me, not coming out.

He's prepping it.

He's prepping it now.

He's a Peruvian king takes it

over Peruvian.

King, he takes over the country.

Now King Tango plot.

I'm by his Royal.

I live here now.

This is mine.

I bought the mountain.

Yeah.

I bought mucho triple G.

Mucho triple G.

Via AC4T and T returns for 2026.

Yes, it is.

July 4th isn't that far away,

and 2 via a cigars that are

typically released around the

holiday will soon return to

shell.

You even say.

And now getting into cigar news.

That's cigar news.

Did you?

You were talking about Tango

Plot does money and stuff.

I get lost in the Peruvian king.

Yes, the company has announced

that the VI, AC4 and TNT will

both ship to stores this month,

and VI spokesperson said that

the cigars are the same as their

most recent release.

We didn't change a thing.

They're exactly the same as last

year.

Which was it?

Oh, they're exactly the same as

2023 cigars.

Those cigars sell though.

Yeah, they do.

Both cigars.

And you don't know what you're

talking about the, the viahe

this, this particular one we

actually skipped.

And the reason why we skipped it

is because the quantities are so

massive that we struggle to move

all of it.

'Cause you mean the box count

quantities, correct?

Yeah, it's a huge.

It's a crate.

You know, normally for for us,

what we find tracks the best

when it comes to VIAHE is it

they're sold by the box.

Like you have X amount of

customers that like to purchase

the whole box, but a lot of

these guys, they don't want to

purchase the big 50 count box of

the TNT or the C4.

So you start to part it out and

when you part it out, you make,

you know, you sell out some

singles and at that point they

don't buy a big quantity,

They'll buy onesie twosies and

you wind up sitting on 20 or 30

of them.

So it, it just doesn't make

sense.

At least that's just my strategy

behind it.

So I, you know, and I love

Viaje.

I think Viaje makes a lot of

good stuff, but I don't like to

sit on stuff.

That's so I I passed on it.

We passed on it.

We passed, so we will not be

getting those.

No.

All right, so let's just skip

the rest of the story.

Who cares?

Usually you say, hey, are are

you getting this?

And then I usually say yes or

no, but so I just kind of got

ahead of myself there and said

we're not getting.

You gave a very good story.

I mean, realistically, I think

that what they need to do is

they need to, if I would buy the

same quantity of this cigar. 20

count boxes.

If they were 20 or 25, count.

Oh so they come in 50?

You would still buy 50 cigars if

they came in smaller.

So they're going to make smaller

crates.

Yeah, if they made smaller

crates, I think that it would be

better for them and better for

the customer because the

customer would then purchase

them.

What if we broke it up into

smaller allotments and we sold

them in 10?

I just explained that to you.

Since it's out-of-the-box, do.

We make a box, I'm not making

crates.

It's bad enough I have to build

this see through light up.

Oh, you've.

Already been hit with that.

Is that with the blue lights

before upstairs?

No, no, no, no, no.

But there's a there's a thing

that I have to build now.

Yeah, yes, yes, it'll, it'll be

here in about an hour.

It'll be, oh, no, actually we

have it.

It's over in the storage room.

It'll be here in an hour.

I thought he was bringing it

with him, but we kept it.

It's in storage.

Yeah, no, but that no, but I

want a big see through 10.

Gotcha.

I want and you know I don't have

a hammer.

So I look at him and I say,

Greg, I have.

What do you think of this?

Maybe Kenny?

Well, you know, I like, I like

Greg is my go to on this.

This is where I start with him.

And then what it is, there's a,

there's a, there's a clock that

is kind of started.

How long is the clock?

Don't tell him 'cause then he'll

just drag it out.

Yeah, it's six days.

Yeah, I'll be back in six days.

I'll.

Say, Kenny, I'll have it done by

the time he gets back then.

So 7 days, seven days.

Oh, so you have another day,

Greg.

Yeah.

All right.

The raising the price from 11:44

to 12:24.

OK.

OK.

For most companies, a cigar

price increasing 7% in the span

of three years would not be

unique, but VI really adjust the

prices of it cigars.

Both cigars come in large boxes

that hold 75 cigars.

Wow, that is a.

Lot.

Oh yeah, it's not even 50.

See what I mean 75?

That's a lot of cigars designed

to mimic crates of explosives

for which is cigars are named

after.

This is the 10th release for

TNT, which debuted in 2010 and

has gotten subsequent releases

IN2011121315161920 and 23.

Does the state total production?

Run.

No, it just never.

Yeah.

So realistically, I think if you

broke it down into three boxes

of 25, you'd be better off.

Yeah, well, we would be better.

Off.

So would they they?

'D have another retailer buying

right?

Everybody wins.

That's what I'm all about,

buddy.

Everybody winning.

Tango Plata for everyone.

Tango Plata all the way around.

Perez Carrillo Deep Blue Limited

I saw the packaging on it.

king of the underworld.

Yeah, we actually kind of talked

about this before because Hades

was never linked to Blue until.

I was going to say, Haiti's has

really nothing to do with the

water.

No more would it be Poseidon,

yes, or Aquaman I mean.

But there's no option.

The reference is deep as in like

deep underground.

Yeah, too.

So.

Low, but he didn't say deep

underground, he said the water.

Deep in the water Well, once you

go through the water, you

eventually hit the ground.

You got to go deeper.

Under the sea.

We don't know where the bottom

of the ocean is.

We don't know where the bottom

of the ocean is.

Nope, we don't.

No.

How do we not figure that out?

We have seen more of the moon

than we have of the ocean.

That is the most ridiculous

thing I've ever in my life.

There's a whole side of the moon

that they just won't show you

photos of too.

That's where the Transformers.

That's where the Transformers.

Are that's where that monster is

that they do in the Duracell

commercials?

Yeah, in the dark side of the

moon.

All right, time for the

industry's favorite game.

What's the score, by the way?

Mikey won.

Did he tell you when he played?

Played.

He played.

What's the score?

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

No, he, yeah, he told me.

Oh, he even commented on the

video too.

So how did that go?

Like, did we record him or was

it just because he was off mic?

He was saying.

I would say his score.

I didn't see that.

So he would tell you the number

and then you would repeat it.

Yeah.

Interesting.

What episode was that?

How the hell should we know?

When he was here, when they did

leave, it was that episode.

OK, I think I can figure that

out.

You know what?

Just watch all of them.

Right, there's only 5 a week.

Plenty of time.

Yeah, you have.

How long is the flight to Peru?

Yeah, I sleep.

First class with the you have

your own door.

Yeah, put the.

Put the legs up, head back the.

Legs up, it lays flat there's.

No legs up, he's got the bed.

Right individual do you have to?

No, they they have their own

little pods.

That they with a shower.

Is it Peru?

Airlines, this is our bed.

This is our bed now.

Airplanes, she said.

She said it's our bed, and here

I go.

No, we each have a bed.

No, no, no, we have the one.

How we going to do that?

We only have the one deodorant,

Yeah.

This is our bed, I.

Love learning things about

Greg's life, it's so odd.

It is.

All right, this cigar, March

24th, 2013.

Brooks Whittington is the

reviewer.

It's the Alec Bradley Honduras

limited edition.

Filthy hooligan.

See, it's green.

That's why there was a a green

comment.

And what's the score green?

I like to try to give these

themes now.

Very nice, that's why your

background is green.

No, I was going to have a blue

jacket.

I thought that that's what he

was going to Greg, to be honest.

86, you son of a bitch.

You gave him the spikes.

I just set it up the way I

always did.

I wasn't paid attention 85 See

Alec Bradley Filthy hooligans

from Honduras Tebacco de Oriente

rapper is Nicaraguan candela

binder Honduras and Nicaraguan

filler Nicaragua and Panama says

6 by 50 Toro $8 They smoked 2.

86 You said Brooks, right?

Yes. 85.

The vanilla and nutmeg sweetness

layered over the classic candela

grassiness made this way more

interesting than most green

cigars on the market.

Interesting. 86. 85.

Construction sounded solid

overall.

Once the burn corrected itself,

the creamy oak and earthy

profile stayed consistent all

the way through. 8685.

Clue #3 The sweetness

disappearing in the final third

seemed to hurt the balance,

leaving behind a grassy pepper

finish that didn't quite land.

It's the -185. 84.

Damn it.

Final thought Candela cigars

have always felt more like a

cheap holiday gimmick than a

serious blend designed to catch

the eye of people looking for

something green to match their

Saint Patrick's Day beer rather

than smokers looking for an

actual flavor.

Unfortunately, the Alec Bradley

Filthy Hooligan does very little

to change that perception.

Well, there are brief moments

where a faint sweetness tries to

breakthrough the overwhelming

grass hay and woody notes.

It never develops into anything

truly enjoyable or memorable.

Once that sweetness fades, a

cigar becomes even more

unbalanced, leaving behind a

rough mix of pepper, bitterness

and grassy harshness that drags

the experience not even further.

In the end, it feels like the

rapper colour was once again the

priority, while the blend itself

was an afterthought.

Definitely not a cigar I'd ever

reach for again, unless the goal

was simply to smoke something

green.

Is that the final thought?

No.

That's the final.

Thought.

That's kind of lengthy. 76.

Wow, 81. 85.

It's a great shot.

You really need to put it in.

There it is.

He did it.

You can turn it off now you.

Can turn it off.

Now we have to pay for that

Sparky stuff.

Oh, did it go off by itself?

I really no.

I shut off and it worked well.

The final thought was a little

better, but there was questions

yesterday that somebody may have

been cheating one or both.

So I rewrote the final thought

to see if somebody went.

That's not what it says.

Oh.

You think I cheat?

No, no, I was more concerned

with boots looking it up.

He dude, I'm telling you,

there's no way he he moved so

hard.

Well, he always goes high, high,

high.

Why don't you just watch what

he's doing with his phone 'cause

it's not like he knows what the

cigar is.

He'll have to look it up.

I.

Mean I can't see.

But my brother could watch to

see if he's doing it real time.

Half the time I'm not even

watching or listening to what

you're saying.

I'm watching what he's doing to

find out if if I'm going in the

right direction.

Or not, He does text workers

during the show and stuff at

times.

Well, you need to fucking take

it.

So the little bags like they did

with that concert, you know, you

put your cell phones here.

Right.

I think that he gets tired of me

beating him all the time and

then also he like they just

nailed 1.

He just nailed it like it came.

Yeah, he's won all week.

Almost.

Yeah, it's been really weird.

Well, I would say that he's

probably cheating then, yeah,

just because of the statistical

probability of him getting every

single one for a week.

Yeah.

Wow.

Yeah.

I mean, what's the odds he's

going to hit all of them?

You think like his heart rate

would go up while he's cheating?

Like we could put like a lie

detector on him, put some some

sort of a monitor on him.

Probably not.

Are you saying that we need to

buy a lie detector?

Or just like a heart monitor

above him, that's measuring his

heart rate, right?

So if you see a spike in the

heart rate, you're like, show me

your hands.

Show me your hands.

Yes, I like this.

Show me you had to do this the

entire time.

Right, make him use hands up,

hands up.

OK.

Anything else to add today?

Nope, that is it.

OK, Tango Plata, we wish you a

safe trip to Peru.

We hope you have a lovely,

lovely week and don't worry,

I'll deal with all of this.

Thank you.

No, you said I'm in charge.

Yeah.

In Palmer's In Charge.

Palmer's in charge.

I'll.

Deal with everything.

Yeah, you guys need to take care

of.

That how did we know if this

episode was long enough like the

clock wasn't running I'm looking

at it we.

Don't have a clock anymore, but

if you look on the extra monitor

there, there's the red that is

the actual.

Yeah, so like I intentionally

started a clock thinking that

that was my job.

Good for you.

You're 10 seconds.

You're about 20 seconds we we

have lost a light and the timer

in the last.

Week things are just breaking.

Well, they're eight years old.

Things are starting to wear out.

Eight years, 8 long.

It'll be 9 in January.

Lovely years.
