Hit the bell so you get notifications every time that the show is uploaded. Yeah. There it is. Well, he did that flawlessly.
He's getting a hang of it, he's getting a hang of it. Third one in. We got him, we got him. Yes, yes.
All of a sudden, you know. Well, he's been at home with his iPad. He took it from his daughter and goes... And he's hitting it.
Hit. Just practicing the button. Hit. When his family talks, he acts like he's hitting the button for another camera.
Right. What did you do, Michael? What was your weekend, Phil? I just did yard work.
It was a fun-filled weekend. I had a fantastic Easter. Did you? I did.
It was freaking amazing. Oh. Yeah. Didn't wish me a happy Easter at all.
I waited all day for the text message. No, you know what's so funny is, uh, we actually, Brittany and I talked about that. I said, you know, I normally wish people a happy Easter. I didn't text anybody.
I saw a couple of Facebook happy Easter's you didn't. Uh, did I? Yeah, maybe I commented on somebody's or saw somebody comment to me. I know somebody commented to me.
Yeah, none for you. Nope. My wife even put up a nice photo that she took of us. Oh, did she?
Yep. Of what, me and you? No, of me and her. Oh.
Why would you put a picture of me and you? I don't know. Because she's thoughtful? The whole world does not revolve around you, Michael.
I feel like it does. I know you wish it did. No, it does. I'm the constant that you adjust to.
So, I think that, um, so we went to, we went to Universal. On Easter? Yeah. Oh, did you really?
Is it busy? No, not really. No? No, not really.
So we walked around a little bit in Islands of Adventure. We hit a couple things. We did... So we were in our bathing suits and stuff.
So we did the Popeye's wrap ride thing. On Sunday? Yeah. Oh, so you did the water park two days?
Because you did it Wednesday. I'd love to explain the story to you. Oh, sorry. I'm just jumping ahead.
You figured you would have started in the water park. So we started Islands of Adventure, then we ate. Uncle Greg showed up for Easter dinner. At Universal?
Yeah, at Cowfish, and we booked a reservation. So, I got, see, I don't know why. Cowfish, I got it right there. Cowfish is amazing.
Is that inside the park? Yeah, no, it's in City Walk. Oh, in City Walk. It's amazing.
Oh, okay. So, just call ahead, like, you know, a few days ahead of time, and schedule a reservation. Cowfish. So, they have this burger called, like, the cow, cowfish has left the building or something like that.
It's like a burger with bacon, and peanut butter, and banana, right? Wait, bacon, peanut butter, and banana. Yeah. It works.
Oh, I'm sure it does. It works. I've had a burger with peanut butter on it before. " Oh, my lord.
" and it showed up i was like holy shit this is this is a commitment this is a commitment you ate it all challenge accepted right we have a photo of greg eating his little slider cheeseburger and then me oh yeah i got it i'll get you the image so you can put it up like you did with the torch thing oh yeah yeah very sneaky yeah yeah fucker uh no that was something between some yeah i know i know yeah my yeah yeah my wife's emotional friend yeah i know it's not okay It's not okay, Brynny. So, um... Oh, wait. Wait, what?
I forgot to put out the other thing. Oh, you got it! You painted it yourself, didn't you? No, my emotional friend hooked me up.
Your emotional friend hooked you up? Yes. And she painted it herself? Yes.
Ask what color. Wow. And then you brought it to the shop. I did?
Yes. How did I do that? It was the third tray of hot dogs. Son of a Bitch, she's very good, she's very sneaky.
There was three trays in that bag, the bottom tray was just the gorilla. I thought that was a lot of hot dogs. Yes, yes, we had that all worked out. The red silverback is in the building.
Yes. So, so yeah. Well, just to get, wait, I need to give her credit, because this is quite defeat. We saw, we saw a red, a green, and a yellow, I believe, at the TPE.
Correct. For some product whose name had a grill in it. Yeah, some CBD company or some shit like that. So we tried to buy one, and they refused to sell it.
Oh, FDA won't let me do it. I can't sell anything because then we were selling, I think it was some kind of cigar thing or something, an air purifier, or was it CBD? Okay, yeah, so it's not a weed thing or some shit. But then the guy told me where they got it.
Yes. And I forget what the store was. Home Goods. Home Goods, there you go, Home Goods.
So apparently Brittany has been looking for this for two and a half months? No shit. Yes. This has been an ongoing thing.
So last week, when did we go to TPE? That was like two and a half months ago, January, February, something like that, right? So she texted me on Monday, a picture of the white one, because it comes in white. I was like, oh, and then she asked me the color, and she spray painted it.
And then I got a couple of pictures of it being spray painted, and then we arranged the delivery. So thank you, thank you, Brittany. But boom, there he is. See, now you have your bobblehead and I have my bobblehead.
Yes, yes, yes, successful. And that's appropriate size. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, it's perfect.
We can actually mount, we can put him on here. Oh, put him on his back. Yeah, no, he'll fall off. He'll fall off.
He'll fall off. He'll fall off. Don't break. Don't break my butt.
Okay. So, then afterwards, we went to Volcano Bay after we did cowfish. Oh, after you ate. Yeah.
And there was like a storm or whatever, so everybody cleared out. Fucking place was wide open. It was amazing. You didn't leave during the start.
No, we just said, well, let's just wait this out. You know, we all got together. We did our analytics. We looked at the storm.
What do you have on your app? My app says we're fine. We looked at lightning. We're like, we can just wait this out.
In Florida, be done in 10 minutes. So I remember, so Brittany, it was funny. We were talking about like, you know, it's so funny because when COVID hit, we went to Volcano Bay. Right.
And, you know, when the first day they opened up and there was no one there. And the kids had the whole run a muckaroo kid slide thing all of themselves. And Brittany said to them, listen, just enjoy this. And ride it out as long as you can, because this will never happen again.
Right. And then it happened again. So then we said, listen, just enjoy this because this will never happen again, again. But that was pretty cool.
We had a good time. Football was really, was a rain game for us. Oh, on Friday. Yeah, kids couldn't pull the flags because they were all wet.
And it was messy and stuff. So you switch the tackle. Well, yeah. Take 'em out!
No, but you know what's funny? And in these days you kind of reiterate these fundamentals about, that's why you're in front of them. So if you missed the poll, you know, so we eked it out. Oh, so you won?
Yeah, we eked it out, it was a good win. Jack's got to do quarterbacking again, which is nice. What did we do Saturday? Just hung out at the house, just hang out at the house.
Brittany's dad came up for Easter. Oh, it was because Carmen posted a bunch of photos. Yeah. So that was from?
Yeah, and then he came up Sunday morning and then he jettisoned out of there. Ah. We ate lunch with mom on the Easter and my brother was in town, but that's really all we did. So, yeah, I didn't, you know, normally I do send texts out and stuff like that, but I didn't this time around, you know?
And, um, I think I got like three or four texts from people. Uh, I think I got three. And they were kind of, you know, I was surprised for, I mean, Emory, for one, will always text, which is fantastic, but there were a couple others that came, kind of came out of left field that I was like, all right, this is pretty cool. I got one from somebody who's been a friend for a long time, but I normally don't get that type of message from him.
Yeah. Yeah. And then, Mr. Yogurlite, I've got one from him.
Oh, no, not one from him. Sorry, I don't know, maybe I did, I don't think so. You probably just didn't answer. I think I did.
It's okay. I sent you one, you just didn't answer. It's okay. It's all right, John.
I still love you. I sent you one, you didn't answer. You didn't send me one. Yep.
No, you didn't. Yep. No, you didn't. Yep.
Yeah, look, Michael, it's not there anymore. I deleted it when you put your phone down. Yeah, you did not send one. Oh, maybe just send it to Brittany.
Probably what it was. I must have just sent it to my emotional friend. No text. No.
My support friend. My emotional support friend. Your emotional friend. Yes.
So yeah, I mean, and you had a big BDP event here at the shop. Friday night, yes, it went really well, it was well received, people really seemed to enjoy the cigars. Yeah, I mean, I can't, I'm smoking them. You can't, you can't stop putting BDPs in your mouth.
I love it, I just love it. Over and over, all the time, one after the other. There was a lot of new faces here, who had heard about its release, so they wanted to come. Yeah?
Yeah, people I'd never seen before. The legend. Apparently so, yes. MDP.
Yes. Yes. Very nice. Singles and fives seem to sell better than the, uh, than the whole bundle.
Well, it's a big commitment for someone who doesn't know anything about the cigar. People hadn't tried, yeah. Right. But yeah, you guys had a great event.
We did. It went well. It was very busy. Yeah.
Look at you. Steady. Right. Spreading your wings.
Soaring. Just adding the, adding the, to my little cigar life here. Without getting ahead of myself, do you have the Cerebrus, Cerebrus review on Half Wheel Do you want to use a new media thing? No, because it wasn't a review.
Oh, it was a review. I don't normally grab reviews. Oh, we have to talk about this. Oh, well, I could pull it up.
Dude. I started to, and I was, you know, pasting and copying, and I saw it was just another, you know, here, I smoke this. So why is it interesting? I didn't read it.
No, I didn't read it. Did you see the number? Oh, no, no. Because I saw it was a review and I stopped looking.
Oh, it was amazing. It was fun. It was fun to watch. I tried to think of funny things to harass Terrence with, like when he did his post, but I felt like the wound was kind of fresh, so I didn't engage.
So I'll tell you, Charlie had some plug issues. Look, there are times where you catch a bad batch, right? Right. And Charlie caught the bad batch.
So because Charlie... Oh, it's very, it's very long. So let's say the Bad Batch, let's say like a, a, a, a series of plug cigars from a, from a, uh, factory or somewhere between three and seven percent. I just happened to pause here and further adding to the frustration is the top line.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So let's say that, you know, the first sample had tar flavor. Hmm. So let's say that your average bell curve in Nicaragua for plug cigars at three to seven percent on a factory level, like anything outside of seven.
Listen, hold on. I'm sorry. So listen, just hold that. As I'm just pausing as I'm trying to get to the score.
Go ahead, go ahead. So like anything north of 7%. Ooh, you're a bastard. So anything north of 7% is like, is highly fucking problematic and needs to be resolved.
And anything below 3%, like a, you know, a 2% level is like a highly optimal level of, you know, non-plug cigars. Right. So let's say Aganor is just like your average factory and there's somewhere between that realm, right? So, if you get a pair that had, like, somebody had a fucking bad day, and, you know, shit got wedged or whatever, you know, you just overfill in the filler in a particular area when you're just trying to rush and get done or whatever the case may be, and all those leaves match, the wrapper matches, and it all has a tendency to fall in, like, the same couple of boxes, you know, Charlie got that batch.
He got those. So, the Cerberus, now we reviewed it on the Patreon without giving out our information on how we felt about it because, you know, our patrons of the Patreon deserve the information. Correct, exclusive information. But we did review it as well.
So, it is kind of funny though, to see, Charlie, what were your giggly words, go ahead. As frustrating as I found the ban to remove, hold on, that's not even the one I stopped at, that's what it was right here. I smoked too few cigars, as I'm not sure I've ever experienced any cigar bans, specifically the paper part that was challenging to remove, as this one, sliding the band off when fine, though it always risk damaging the rubber. So not only were there plug issues, but Charlie, I think, was also just having a bad day.
Oh, yeah. A very weird twist of fate, while many Nicaraguans are leaving the country, there's an uptick in Cubans and we're going to Nicaragua. Many of them are doing something. But I suspect there are people leaving Cuba, ending up in cigar factories in Esteli.
Probably. I suspect if we reviewed more cigars in Nicaragua factories, we'd find increased quality control issues. That's probably true, too. Ah, he's blaming COVID?
There's some mention of COVID here? Listen, if you're not-- Ooh, construction issues? Look, at this point, if you're not blaming COVID or Russia and Ukraine, I mean, what are you doing? You know, you gotta blame somebody.
A large part of the disappointment is... Jeez, Charlie. And I think Aganorsa... If I was asked to name one factory whose quality has struggled over the last year...
And I think Aganorsa advertises with Half Wheel, which is amazing. I ended up smoking three and a half cigars for this review. So at least he's not, you know, at least you know that it's not biased because of marketing, you know? Well, they advertise with us, so...
What's the number? Tell me the number. Seventy-four. Ooh!
That's some cold-blooded shit, Charlie. Seventy-four. C-minus. My goodness.
I want to know that, like, I've smoked that cigar, but if you, you know, you gotta... Wow. I haven't seen one that low in a long time. I don't think I have, you know?
My smoke goes out at some point during the second third. First sample of the barrel makes it out of the first third. Wow. So look, you know, honestly, we smoked it, we gave it a review.
We have our opinion on it. Yes. Without giving too much away, though, I don't think we had draw issues. No, no, that was not one of the problems we had with it.
No, no. You know, it's like, it's just kind of fascinating to see. So long. Yeah.
Hammered. Hammered, bro. Fucking. If you want to taste a 70, what is a 74?
74. I would honestly be inclined, like, you know, it's so low that it's intriguing. You know what I mean? Like, I want to smoke this.
I want to see what a 74 Charlie is. Because I don't think that, I don't think that it's that number. I don't think that that's 74. I don't think that that's, you know, the case.
So I think that, you know, you should go out and fucking smoke it. Give it a shot and see how you score it. It's pretty amazing. The 6x44 is what he smoked.
That's the size that I like the best, too. Yes, yes, that is your size. So, I highly recommend. Hmm.
And like, there was an uproar, there was some bullshit, so like, you know, Terrence did like a whole nice post, hey, if anybody has, you know, any issues. Oh, I saw I did something, so this is what he was talking about. Ah, I gotcha, okay. And I was like, man, I got, there's gotta be something, I'm like, I'm gonna type something, I'm like, man, that comes off as aggressive.
Delete that. I was like, because, you know, I wish the best for Terrence, you know, and I want, I want, and Aganorsa does a great job, you know, and this is just, a bad luck this is just a bad you know this didn't fan out the way that it should have right so you know i'm like man god what joke can i cut that so that's gonna be fun and i'm like you know what i can't even i can't figure it out i think of anything i couldn't get to the point where it was humorous without having to deal with terrence later of him being pissed off at me or something and i'm like you know a c minus is still passing it's it's still a passing grade passing grade That's good. Yeah. Could have been worse.
Could have been a D. Yeah. I think that, you know, you're still 74 points ahead of a zero. You did put your name on the paper.
That's worth 20 points. You know, it did say what factory came from. Hey, he did mention the factory over and over and over and over. So I'm wondering, like, I want to know what the lowest fucking number is that Charlie has ever reviewed.
Something's gotta be like a 65. You think so? I don't know. I'd be terrible.
This is the lowest score you ever gave. I don't think it's the lowest but that's fucking low too low for that cigar so but it was funny man i fucking man i wish i could have thought of something funny to fucking say back but i just could i just felt like i i felt for the man i felt for the man you know he's trying to be nice in some of the comments too well it still tastes like this still was able to find a little bit of that right It's tough to taste much beyond the latter two flavors. There's also times where I can pick up earthiness and white pepper. He mentioned earthiness three times so far.
It must be good. Earthiness. Black pepper comes alive. What's the difference between black pepper and white pepper?
There's a flavor difference? Oh, and a red pepper. Oh, he's got all the peppers in it now. What about a green pepper?
No, no green pepper. Turquoise pepper. Turquoise pepper. The ones that are green and red at the same time.
We should do a, like, the next press release should be, like, Flavor Profiles, Turquoise Pepper, Turquoise Pepper, yes, Lavender Seabreeze, like, shit that doesn't make sense. I suspect we've reviewed more cigars from Nigro, oh, that's something else, I don't know where he mentioned it. I mean, but, you know, he does tap on one thing that's probably a serious issue as far as- Oh, it still tasted good. Yeah, well, they have good product.
Further adding to the frustration with the cigars, the tobacco itself tasted very good, so it's all construction. So, yeah, so, like, the question is that, okay, so, who's, like, I wish that you could dial it in to who's the pair? Who made, like, how do you get. Wasn't he the, wasn't this also the factory where the guy made the wrong size?
Shh. He's a whore. He's a whore. He's a whore.
Where it was supposed to be a 56 and they're all 54. No, no, no, it's 54. He's a whore. The generic pepper-laden toasty profile.
Oh, wow. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
Generic. Oh, I feel quite strongly that the tobacco I smoked would have tasted good if they had bunched properly. I feel like I should, I feel like I should say, you know, like we should do like hints of remote control, like shit that's just totally fucking off the wall for the... We'll do that with the next one.
You'll get a gentle energizer battery, 70% used... Who says they advertise? Yeah. Two hours and 30 minutes?
Yep. Whew. Man. Man.
I wanted the IRS called Charlie during that fucking smoke or something. I'd be like, what the fuck? Oh. Uh, hey, your dog's dead.
I mean, like, something had to have hit. The garden of the farm service, 6x44, was frustrating. While I didn't try lighting up every cigar in the box, the four that I did all suffered from some weird draw issues, and certainly impacted both what I was able to taste and my feelings about the cigar. I'm not sure how much stock I'd place in this review, unless you're curious to know what the Lawnsdale version of the service tastes like.
And that's a fair statement. That's a fair statement. If you want to know what it tastes like when it's not made correctly. I saw like Ban, somebody wrote like Ban, they called them Halfwit, Ban Halfwit on the Aganorsa page, and I was like, come on, man.
People aren't telling their own opinions. We know Aganorsa, we know Terrence. All right, it's just a bad, he's got a bad box. Yeah, so he had a bad run.
Whatevs. He should send, what he should do is send Charlie's three more. A new box? Oh yeah, maybe a whole new box.
A redux. Yeah, they'll do a redux. Right. And then they're fucking like pings in 90s.
Do they do any videos every once in a while or anything? Other than the show stuff? I don't know. Terrence should go there with the box, smoke it with him.
Yes. That's what you should do, Terrence. It's just not intimidating enough. Or you know what, send me a chat.
Oh, send chat, yeah, to Texas, Dallas. To see Charlie with a box of these, and we will sit with him and videotaping him while he smokes it. Yeah, there you go. Or make one that, make one that.
It's funny that I knew that and you didn't know that. Like, that, that was like the buzz for the weekend. Uh, I'm paying a lot of attention to Agrenor, so I had a lot going on this weekend with my own cigar. Ah, it's true.
You did have a lot going on. Yes. With your... Now available online at Cigar Hustler.
With your silverback conspiracy. And the silverback from my emotional friend. Yeah. All right, are we ready to move?
Yeah, let's move on. This one. Boop. From the four corners of the world, all the cigar industry news you could possibly need.
Do you ever use this one? Cigar Hustler Podcast Report, with Mike, too. You should have the whole time you were talking, I noticed it never came on. Wow.
The Party Source receives Limited Edition New World Oscuro Redondo Short Churchill. Okay. I've never heard of the Party Source before. I have.
I used to sell them. Did you? They go and fell off. You know, the problem is, like, if you're not friends with the buyer, if he doesn't- Is it just one- is it a chain?
I think it's one big store in, like, Louisville, Kentucky. Yeah, Bellevue. Very close, yes. J.
Fernandez. That is New World Oscuro line. It's a 6x40 Vitola, and the word "Redondo" in the name indicates means it's a round cigar. If it's not box press, aren't they round?
Redondo. That is the new BDP, Redondo. This is Redondo. Oh, I'm over here.
5x55 is released exclusive to the Tobacco and Association of America, TAA, in November 2020. Oh, that means they're in the TAA. We don't talk about Redondo. It would become a regular production offering that was made available to all retailers, like the other side, what, wait, the size would become a regular production offering that was made available, oh, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, even if you're on the TAA, you can get that.
Except, but they have their own size. Yes. We want our own Redondo. Uh, like the other side is the New World of Skrull line, which debuted in 2014.
Please, our own Redondo. The blend is a Nicaraguan Puro with darker Skrull wrapper, Jalapa-grown binder, and fillers from Omotepe, Condega, and Esteli. and Esteli. Ah.
All the good places. Ometepe. The bloom was developed by Adele Fernandez in collaboration with his father Ishmael, who would chase the whale, that guy. Call him Ishmael.
Call me Ishmael. Who had joined, who had joined, where did he join? His son's company after spending 17 years with the Placencia family and outside of the two round Vitolas had come to box press shapes. Still haven't seen our rep for Placencia.
He said he threatened he was going to come by. He never comes. I'm going to come. I'm going to see you.
Never comes. Yeah, I'll be there next Tuesday. Yeah. Okay.
Productions limited 4,000 cigars offered in 20 count bundles, pricing set at 144 per bundle and 720 per cigar. Hmm. Interesting. Did you see Skip that he said every cigar should be priced between $7 and $12?
I did, I did. Yeah, he won't even scooch for $200 for me. Look, man, I'm not gonna get into this with him. He has his point of views.
Yes. And I respect that man. He has every right to feel how he wants to feel. He's all right.
Somebody even mentioned that he has some cigars over $12. It was over $12. He goes, I wouldn't smoke those. Yeah, Bo did.
Well, Bo did, and another lady did too. Dara, I believe it was Dara. She told me, just relax, because he's got some cigars that are at that price too. You just caught him on a whim, man, did a post, you know.
He's drinking all that wine over there in France. All up in his fields. And I'll lick it up on his wine. The Freud Cigar Company set debut in May with Super Ego.
Mmm. They didn't even mention that sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. You think that would be on the box? Yeah.
It's a Freud thing. Oh. Because the thing about cigars or phallic symbols, you're really, you're sucking on a penis type thing. Yeah.
And he goes, no, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Uh-huh. A new cigar company that gets its inspiration from Sigmund Freud, the founder of Psychoanalysts, is set to make its debut in the coming weeks. Freud Cigar Company is part of the new luxury company called Agape Lifestyles.
It's a weird name. Agape. Agape, not Agape. Agape?
That is the creation of David, whose name is Standnik, a venture capitalist, which aims to serve as a global leader in luxury lifestyle productions, products for discerning patrons. David partnered with Luis Torres, not Mike the Mailman Torres, no relation. Are we boring you? Where's that guy been?
Are we keeping you awake? Now your eyes are all glassy and watery. You're going to make me laugh. It's been a long, it was a long evening.
Formally, well, you had your workout date today, you were very busy. I did have a workout day today. See, now I've been talking this whole time. And now, it's just me, but we've been having a back and forth.
You've really kind of fucked that up. God, you're a hot mess. Formerly the CEO of Casa de Montecristo, had the retail for Davidoff of Geneva to create the cigar brand. The first cigar from Freud Cigar debut will be called the Super Ego, which uses an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, some ultra binder, and a mix of fillers that include Jalapa-grown Seco from Nicaragua.
What a terrible name. Dominican Grown Criollo 98 Vizos Criollo. Does he have every type of cigar there, or type of tobacco there possibly is? It's, uh, yes.
It's Criollo. Well, look, okay. It's an Ecuadorian Criollo wrapper, Sumatra binder, with a mix of Jalapa, Seco, Nicaraguan, Dominican Grown Criollo 98, Criollo Lajero, and Piloto Seco. It's not a place.
It's a type. Seco is-- Alapa Grown Seco. Seco Visa Lajero. Seco is thin.
Seco is very thin. I don't care. You should care, because it makes a difference in the tobacco and the cigar. I don't care about this man's cigar, doesn't this?
You don't care about the superego? No. Four sizes. Well, the superego does not care about you either.
I'm sure he's never heard of that before. I don't care. I have ego that is super. He gets his name for one of three agents of Sigmund Freud's model of psychoanalytics.
Ah. Theory, namely the moral standard by which the ego operates. Freud Cigar Company formally launched during a private event late April with widespread distribution which is being handled by Ellusion to begin in May. Oh, mailing an email from them too.
You see Jeremy Pivens now, he's in it with Ellusion. Oh, isn't he? Wasn't that written before? Yeah, he did like a post or something.
Oh, I don't follow Jeremy Pivens. It's been an unbelievable journey to build this new brand with old friends and new friends who are some of the most talented and respectful friends in the industry. A lot of friends. I am thrilled for the first step and for what is to come.
Freud Cigar Company is now with plans and second release to come later this year. Not my friend Luis Torres that used to live here. It was now in Tennessee. No, not him, not him.
But he's an avid listener of the podcast. Oh, hello. Nice, thank you for listening. Liga Privada Unico Series, Year of the Tiger.
Ah. I only did this so I could do the voice. Oh. As you likely notice, celebrating the Lunar New Year has become a bit of a thing in the cigar industry.
Being in the cigar industry in recent years, numerous companies have released cigars as a celebration of the holiday, generally coming out towards the end of the Gregorian calendar year, or not long after the new year starts, while Davidoff's Zodiac series, likely the most known and longest running Drew Estate, has men on those companies, releasing a steady stream of Lunar New Year themed cigars through the roots of their series, traced back to the ice hockey, and specifically the Florida, what? The full background is here during the 1950s. Well, because they were releasing them originally, you got kind of lost there, but they had released them, they had a Panthers Lounge, a Florida Panthers Lounge. Right, that they only released at the Lounge, yes.
Yeah, but they, I don't think they do that just now. No, they don't do that anymore. Yeah. I think the Cigar Lounge is closed, I believe.
Is it? I think so. Yeah, maybe it is. I think it is.
What did John say? Tell me what John said. I'm Barry. Okay, oh, then there's a list of all the releases they did.
Let's see. That's because... Okay, here we go. Here we go.
Here it is. Here it is. Okay. That's because instead of getting wide release USA, the League of Robada Unico Series Tiger was released to cigars online retailer.
C-O-H cigars? Or is it Co-H? Co-H? Co-H.
Co-Cigars online retailer released a cigar. Zavano's. Ah, well, based in Hong Kong, the company does ship to the United States, so the cigar isn't completely inaccessible to cigar smokers. , though it would require a bit of patience for delivery.
Here we go, Michael. I'm very excited. You ready? Tigers are brave and forceful, the very symbol of power and command that they are usually associated in Chinese culture with emperors and kings, said Jonathan Drew, co-founder and president of Drew Estate in press release, "To honor the year of the tiger, we create a cigar that is adventurous and ambitious, powerful and commanding.
The taste both grabs your attention and demands your respect. 48,000, Karuna. That was a great job. Thank you.
I felt like John was in the room. Oh, didn't you? Yeah. 38 per cigar.
Ooh, I thought mine was expensive. $195 for the box of eight cigars. Eight! How much is it per?
$25. Now you know what Skip says. Oh, that's two of those. Can't even get two of those for Skip's rate.
Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Now we have a Florida man story. Oh!
Oh, we're only at 30 minutes. Wow! It's gonna have to be very long. It's very light.
Very light. Very light. Well, there was a story I didn't grab about a bird that I didn't know if you wanted to talk about. I had a lot of comments about how you fucked up the audio in the first one.
Like the first... Is that a little mix? Yeah. 'Cause I had to pull a piece.
If you will notice now, the audio problems have been completely fixed and do not exist anymore. Oh. It's hard to figure out how to run three cameras when nobody tells you. My wife is calling me right now.
Oh, do you want to be on the show? Hello? Oh good, fill time. Hey, we're podcasting.
How are you? Tell her you like the gorilla. How's Teddy? He's talking to his wife.
Just keep it on him. Oh my goodness. Okay, good. Maybe I'll dub in something that she would be saying.
I love the gorilla, by the way. I got the gorilla, you're very sneaky. Yep, yep, with a hot dog tray. Hot dog tray.
Yep. Yep. You're right. Never knew.
Never knew. I love you, Tim. Bye. Teddy's okay with the doctor.
Everything went well? He's got another ear infection. It's a thing anymore with kids. Kids always have ear infections.
Yeah. It's ridiculous. Florida man tells police he was going 125 miles per hour to impress his girlfriend. Yeah?
Did you hear what I said? No. One more time. One more time.
One more time. Florida man tells the police he was going 125 miles per hour to impress his girlfriend. A man was arrested after being clocked driving more than 100 miles per hour and telling police he was speeding to impress his girlfriend. It was the only thing that happened in Florida where nobody died and we don't do dead stories.
We don't do dead stories? We don't do stories about people dying. There was a lot of shootings over Easter. There were four shootings across the country over Easter.
Across the country? Yes, across the country. How many of them were in Florida? None, thank goodness.
We don't, we don't. That's right. But the governor banned some type of math book thing because there's something in it. I don't know what the math problem was.
Okay. There's some kind of math problem? Some kind of problem with the math books. There's a problem with the math books.
I don't know what it was. Okay. All right. So that check.
All right. No guns and no shootings in Easter. No shootings in the math books. No.
Check that out. No shootings in the math books. m. Tuesday, 19 year old, let me just finish this story.
Oh, wait, this was in Florida. Nevermind. Oh, we already established that. This is a Florida story.
You just said it wasn't interesting. It was in 125, yeah. He was speeding because he was trying to impress his girlfriend. Trooper Scott Donnelly and his Mazda Miata.
Overtake a vehicle in the left lane of Northbound I-95 in Melbourne, kicking up debris from the shoulder, nearly colliding with the vehicle he was passing. Trooper was conducting speed enforcement in the medium when he used a laser. Laser. To determine Donnelly was driving 112 miles per hour before accelerating to 125.
Donnelly was pulled over and placed under arrest. Wait, you didn't see the cop? Idiot. He's going very fast.
112 ain't that fast, bro. Donnelly, well, yeah, but he was trying to pass on the shoulder, and the cop was in the middle. He was in the shoulder. He passed it on the shoulder.
Yes. That's where the debris was kicked up. The debris. Yes.
And he almost hit a car. Yes. So he's frantically driving. Ah.
How old has this been? 19. I mean, I've done a lot of dumb shit when I was 19, and that's probably par for the courts. They got arrested.
Oh, the girlfriend was following in a separate car. Oh, not even in the car. Not even in a car? Geez.
What was the card? Please say Miata. It doesn't say what the card was, but he was booked at the Brevard County jail. Please.
He was traveling in his Toyota Camry. Right. Where it topped out at 125. His Nissan Versa.
He was driving in his Chevy Bolt. Not the, it was the Bolt, right? Volt. Volt.
In the Volt. Volt. I read an article that the current power grid in like a neighborhood would not support more than three people with cars that had to be charged at one time. The grid can't support any more than that right now.
That's a problem. Yeah, you would think, right? We just all need to go solar. And apparently, Elon can turn your car off if he wants to.
That's power right there. So they could like say... Shut it down. You people can only drive on Tuesdays.
Tuesday drivers. Cars are all off in the Deltona now. Well, you know, like if you try and have a speed chase or whatever, like, call Elon, shut it down. With the Starlink, just like you did with the Russians.
Yeah, that's a lot of power for one man. Now he's trying to buy Twitter. I don't blame him. Buy whatever you want, Elon, I don't care.
Yeah, I don't give a fuck. What were you going to say? You do you. Oh, I watched some fights on Saturday.
That was pretty fun. There's this thing going on on TikTok. I don't know how fucking new it is or not, but my brother-in-law, the man, he brought it to my attention, and we have been fucking dying laughing this entire time. Yes.
So it's like, it pops up with, it pops up with, it's something in Britain. In Britain, like, why do British people all have garages, but they park in their driveways or shit like that, and then it flashes to some type of image with, like, scary as fuck teeth, and then it goes into English, and it's like, well, at least, and they start fucking bad-mouthing our schools, our children aren't veterans by sixth grade, like saying, because all we have is school shooting and shit like that, it is the funniest fucking thing on the planet. No, I haven't seen that. Oh my God, you have to, I don't know if there's a way to look this up.
Well, I hope that you find it and that it fucking consumes your TikTok because, dude. Well, see, the thing is, you don't watch, if you watch it to the end, then you get more. You get more of them. You get more of them, right.
So that's what they always say on there, it says watch till the end. Right. I immediately flip if it says that. Oh, because then it sucks.
Well, then I'm going to get all those things about people dribbling basketballs or whatever the fuck it is. There's a lot of things they watch to the end and nothing happens. Right. They want you to watch, you were right, so that hit your analytics and you get more of that type of video, or more videos from that person.
So like, remember at a while, there was everybody doing that, where they get the ring, they put behind them and then they pull it back and they're changing clothes or something. I got sucked into those and somebody told me that. Well, it's because you always watch them to the end. Like, son of a bitch, now I don't watch them to the end anymore.
I got a lot of people like... I try to never watch it to the end anymore. Really? Unless it's, you know, something good.
The shit that mainly hits my TikTok is, like, funny shit about parenting, right, you know, because those things are funny for me, yeah, and I mean, that's pretty much it, or like, somebody fucking deadlifting something ridiculously large, oh, see, I don't even see weightlifting things, yeah, I'm like, oh, that was impressive, right, or I'm like, oh, that wasn't impressive, you did it wrong, oh, so, that's pretty funny, but this shit is, some of these guys, they can't even finish it, they're like, well, and they start laughing, and then it It goes away, and I'm fucking, we're all dying laughing. Where are you laughing? Yeah. And there were a lot of British people in Universal, because that's- Oh, you're watching it at Universal?
I guess they all travel. No, this is, you know, I guess they- Oh, you just make fun of them. " That was fucking amazing, man. This is fun.
Oh, the man, he's moving. The man, he's moving. When is he moving? Soon.
Oh, is he really? Next weekend. Oh, wow, that is soon. Oh.
So who's going to fly the remote control helicopters on the aircraft carriers now? I don't know. Somebody else. Apparently.
Is he going to be flying something else like that? Yeah. I mean, you know, he's not, I don't know, man. It's conflicting, you know.
Oh, is it the family's happy but not supportive, or supportive not happy, whichever way it works? I mean, this family is a fucking train wreck. I mean, who are you kidding? Well, yeah, but I mean, you know.
We are supportive. Yes, but not happy. But not happy. I got you.
I got you. Did he just buy a house? No, not yet. Oh, they didn't buy the house.
It didn't happen. Oh, thank goodness. I know. Get rid of that.
So is the teacher going to move into your house? Choose the way these things play out. No, unfortunately. We talked about that.
Oh, you made the offer? I talked to Brittany about it. She's like, are you out of your fucking mind? I'm like, yeah, no, you're right.
Well, Mika's just going to have to move on. That's it, you're out. That's it, we got to rotate. Sorry.
Your time is done. We got to turn the room. That's right. You're out of here.
You know, JT, he out, and then Mika in, and now Mika out, and the teacher in. Teacher in. Teacher in. Teacher would be, you know.
Oh, definitely improvement. Yeah. Yeah. Solid.
Yeah. That would be good. Amazing. That would work out well.
Homework, help, and everything. She always gets suckered into some of the kids. I mean, she's a pretty fucking cool person. Yeah.
She's very nice. Life likes her. So when the Traegers come in, you can cut them open and rebuild them into this house for the kids. The boxes?
Yeah. Oh, okay, not the grill itself. Yeah, so the box, you reverse it, and it's like a house. Oh, nice.
And you can cut it out for windows and shit, like it shows you where to cut and stuff. Oh, wow. So, I think Teddy, I think Teddy actually kept Lexi in there for over 45 minutes, like in this little box, just sitting there and doing whatever. You know, like, well past any, uh, any person's fucking sanity of staying in a small- 45 minutes, isn't that bad?
In a box? I guess it depends on the size of the box. Doing nothing? Well, they're probably playing house.
I mean, holy shit, that's fucking impressive. Maybe she was holding her hostage. I think she was holding her hostage. No, you can't leave.
Well, Justice definitely- Bad, Lexi, bad. Justice definitely holds her hostage. Oh, wow. A hundred percent.
He's like, no, come here. No, you do this. No, let's sit. No, we'll watch this together.
No, now we're gonna talk. I'm like, dude, you know. Turn her loose. Yeah.
She's, you know. Let her go. So, and they, like, and he messes, like, so Bubbles has rules, right? Yes.
So Bubbles has to. Wait, Bubbles has rules for you guys or you guys have rules for Bubbles? No, the shepherd. So if I say plots, he has to lay down.
Right. If I say place, he has to go to his spot. Right. Justice will implement these rules to Lexi.
Place, plots, you know. He says plots to Lexi? Yeah, yeah. Well, the problem is she agrees.
Yeah, she complies. She complies. Yes, yes. You can go back to the double thing here.
Thank you very much. So, yeah. That's partially her fault then. Well, that would be a huge upgrade for sure.
Yes, she would be. Yeah. But, you know, we just gotta make an occasional towel being folded every once in a while. She threatens to watch the kids.
I like her post when she goes out for an evening. They're quite involved. A lot of photos. You know what's funny?
A lot of outfit changes. I don't see any of that shit, but I get updated. Really? Oh, yeah.
You're not her friend on Facebook? You know what, I don't really see it, unless I have to go and legitimately look her up and say-- Oh, you just rotate through my feed again. I don't really see it, I'm like-- Another Adventures of Mika. If I'm like, where is she?
Like, what is she doing? Oh, the last one, there was a young man in the phone-off last time. Uh-oh. Yeah, she's seeing some dude.
Oh. Dark hair, scraggly beard. See, now I'm intrigued. Now I must go and see this.
I have to go look. Get some details. Kind of redneck-y looking dude. Ah, I don't know.
Hmm. She's, uh, apparently she's seeing some former Marine or something. Oh, right. He wasn't like a Marine Marine.
Yeah, I was gonna say, he don't look like, he might have been military, but he don't look. Yeah, he did like computer work or something. He had short hair. You know what I mean?
Like, you don't, you don't get to say. Yeah, he's not Rambo. Yeah, it's like, you know, you walk into a fucking bar and you know, like, what'd you do? Oh, I was a Marine.
And another Marine's like, Marine! You know, like some fucking guy coming up to you with the amputated leg and fucking tattoos all over. Tattoos all over, what infantry were you? And he's like, uh, computer tech.
They're like, oh! Oh, no, no, no. Nevermind. Go get me a drink.
I was food hauled. I was in charge of the mess. I was in charge of the mess. I was the mess haul.
Runners, the mess man. I feel potatoes. Mean potatoes. Alright, you got anything else?
We're in 45 minutes. We're just talking gibberish at this point. What are we gonna do in the Patreon today, Michael? Who's a listener of the What's the week?
Do you have a Listener of the Week? Adam Acri! Nicole Acri! Adam Acri, okay.
Oh, Nicole Acri, look at you. Uh, Papa, Pappy, Pappy. Pappy. Pappy is definitely...
Pappy from Tobacology. Holy moly. My number one fan, Pappy. I love that man.
Fucking Pappy. That guy. BDP has changed his life. I mean, he just came in, like, fucking full force.

It was just Tommy's birthday. Happy birthday, Tommy Ferrell.
It was? Yes. I missed it. Damn.
Happy birthday, Tommy. You're wrapped up in yourself all over the place. I'm just a mess. You know what?
It's because Michael Joseph fucking dare burn you with my smoke. That's hurtful. Hurtful. She's going to burn you with your smoke.
And then I was like, oh, no. Oh, you know. I got to change the screen for the... Like, oh, no.
Oh, no, no. Which is a long-ass, ridiculous name. That's why, oh no. You know, I don't think we're ever going to get developing pallets shirts.
No, you know, they got ours. Yeah. They got that one. Here we are just taking care of you guys.
Yep. Where the fuck? You asked, I supplied. Yeah, boom.
We don't fuck around. Even threw in one for Aaron just to be nice. Yeah, just bashoom. Here you go.
Developing pallets shirts this way? Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.
We should get some white t-shirts and write developing pallets on it and wear them next. So we just got to get a list of things Cigar Hustle will never have. have store exclusive will never happen from anybody no no fucking touch us like the plague yes uh you know why michael tell me you know why why buy stuff from a dick why why buy stuff from a dick and uh no developing palette shirts no no you think that like maybe how about that cigar would chime and say here or something you know i mean something like nothing not here we are promoting these cigar media reviewers and shit and these are these media programs we do i think I think we do have an appropriate contract from Sigarno's Boys, but I've been too busy to do it. Oh, have they even done the show since our show?
Have they done a show? Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. They've done a couple.
They did one too? A couple of them. Is it him under his blankie again? I don't know.
There's no video. It's just how they're all snuggled up. It's just a video. He asked me last week if the thing was okay, and I go, "Honestly, I haven't had time to look at it.
" Because the first one he said was so small. It was very tiny. Very tiny. But he blew it up and sent me another one then.
I'm sorry, Tyler. I've not had a chance, been very busy. Super busy. Two L's in Chevelle.
Two L's. Takes time to put that second L in. So there you go. We might have an answer tomorrow on the lounge debacle.
Maybe. Or not lounge, but the studio. Production studio. Production studio.
So that would solve a lot of our problems in time when I have to take these cameras down every other show. A lot of debauchery. I get you. All right.
Let's wrap it up. All right. And it's been episode 200... Thank you.
It's been episode 224 of a Cigar Hustler podcast. It is... Who's number one? A Cigar Hustler podcast.
That's right, David. Thank you very much, David. Back to the two shot. Okay.
