Okay. The actual podcast shows are fantastic. Yes. But the listeners of the Patreon will tell you that the Patreon shows are way...

I get more compliments on the Patreon show every week than the regular show. Way, way, way better. Yes, they are way better. So I know that you're watching this and you're thinking, how could it possibly get better?

How could it be any better? And yet, bam, we deliver every week. We appreciate your support and sponsoring us. So you did a bear show last night?

I did. Oso Fumar or something? El Oso means the bear. Oh, El Oso.

I know what Fumar means. The bear smokes. The bear smokes. I get it.

He has a lot of commercials. He does. He's not as bad as Coop. No, the Coop's intro commercial is off the show.

I got Quaaludes, I got Acid, and I got Cocaine. Brought to you by the National Food and Drug Association. But Bear is, he's like next level, dude. The guy.

He does a very good show. The two hours goes by quickly. I was surprised it was over already. And the data and the research that he knows.

I was surprised that you were up the whole time. I thought we were going to lose you at some point. " Is Mike Palmer still here? I was watching the show.

I mean, there's not always time to troll and be annoying. No, but normally what happens is we talk about the interview that we did or whatever, and you're like, yeah, I went to bed around 20 minutes. You're right, normally I do. Yeah.

But... Not that time. A little more involved. Oh, you were dialed in.

Like, I'm working, honey. I have to stay up. Right. She didn't.

I just went in the other room. Oh, good. You got to see me have the breakdown and everything. Yes, yes.

Greg did a little too. When they cut to him, he was wiping the tear out of his eye. Oh, good. It went to him too.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. He liked to make noises and rattle around so the camera would come to him in the middle of you talking. Greg was on the show? Yeah, Greg was on the show, so I'm losing and I know that this camera is just fucking staring at me, I'm like, oh my god.

He didn't know where to go was the problem, he didn't know what to say either, apparently his father has passed recently. Yeah, he did. So yeah, I think he was a little up in his feelings too. I think it kind of, it doesn't shift, it shifts by sound.

Yeah, well, it does, but it shifted to him, and he wasn't talking either. Oh, yeah. It was like dead air. It was like dead air.

Like, fuck. And then he goes to Greg, and Greg just put his glasses back on, wiping his eye out. Yeah. Yeah.

But I think Greg did well. I think he did. You know, he did too. I texted him right after the show last night and told him he did a good job.

Yeah. And then this morning, he asked me, well, this afternoon, whatever time I always get here, "What should I have done different? " Right. Like, other than your bad lighting and the giant air conditioner off your left shoulder.

Yeah, I mean, that shit's just like... That was it? I got a kick out of it. He did a good job.

He did a good job. Yeah, the first couple minutes, you could tell that he's not quite seasoned. No, no, he's not comfortable doing it. So yeah, so he was a little timid at first.

Very sitting up straight, didn't have his hat, you know, and he was like, "Well, that's a good question, Mr. Bear, sir. " Yeah. Well, thank you very much for...

Yes, thank you for asking me. Thank you for having me on today. But that quickly dissipated. It quickly did, and he went, well, fuck, let me tell you what's going on.

Right. Well, yeah, it just, you know, I'm sure that it was helpful with me being on with him. Oh, I'm sure. Because I was like, look at the fucking lights on this thing.

What was the other show he was on? He couldn't remember either. I thought he was talking about when we did our show, that terrible episode with Island Jim, where neither one of them talked, and I can only talk to myself for 15 minutes. Yep.

Right. That's the story I remember you telling me, Palmer. Yeah. How Greg got, like, all camera shy and everything.

Greg got all camera shy and everything. Yeah. That was, um, yeah, I tried listening to that, and I was like, holy shit. Luckily, it was only 15 minutes.

Yeah, wrap that one up. Like, all right, uh, thanks, Jim. Hey, you know, dude, I don't know what to tell you. We put out, we put it all out there.

We put out the good shit, the bad shit, the ugly shit. There are a couple that were so bad they did not even air, or they were to protect somebody, we didn't air it. Yeah, so, yeah. Well, we almost put it all out there, then.

Almost. Almost, almost completely. It's like 98% out there. 925.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, the air kicked off. I thought the whole room died. I heard the fans stop running.

And then we had the surprise birthday party. Oh, yeah, it's your surprise birthday party. That was quite fantastic. It was.

Very well orchestrated. She does a good job, by the way. There were people there that, I'm like, how the hell did she do that? Right, yeah.

That was impressive. Yeah, a lot of people are, I had no idea who they were. And they must be fans of the show because they knew my name. Oh, yeah?

Or they would introduce me, or a man would introduce me to his wife. And I'm like, who are these people? This is Mike Palmer. How does he know?

Yeah. Palmer didn't write life. This is Mike Palmer. And I'm like, oh, hi.

Nice to meet you. I don't know who your husband is. That's pretty fantastic. I can't wait until Palmer turns into 10 Second Timmy.

10 Second Timmy. We're almost there. He forgets everything after 10 seconds. I'd never met these people before.

Yeah. Apparently your cousin was there, I have no idea which one he was. The tall one. Oh, okay.

Yeah. Oh, he's older looking than I thought he was. Yeah. I thought he was like you're in Greg's age.

No, he was always, he was our older cousin. Oh. Gotcha. Yeah.

Yeah, very interesting stuff, man. The guy I do jujitsu with was there, that was, that one was a big one for me. Oh, which one was he? Eric is his name.

Oh, yeah, okay. He didn't have name tag. He was like, he had like, he's got black hair, he's kind of skinny, taller. Everybody was tall then, apparently, yeah, everybody was the tall guy, not cousin tall, but this was, you know, Jack Taranio was there, do you know Jack Taranio?

I know Jack, I know Jack, yes, he was kind of tall, yes, I know Jack, Peter Hernandez was there, not tall, not tall, not tall, not tall, and likes to drink, yeah, yeah, but we'll get into that later, because he's supposed to be on the show, we'll see what that looks like, yes, yeah, so, you know, pulling some of that off, like some of my gym buddies being there, my buddy Greg was there, who came from Sarasota, - Wow. - Yeah, that was pretty awesome. Man, there's just a lot of, you know, the Gordons were there. - Yes.

- Gordons? - Yes. - Yeah, Mark and Julian. - Yeah.

- Oh, Julian's last name is Gordon, isn't it? - Yeah, right. - So I like to call them Gordons. Pete saw them, he goes, "The guys in the ties, who are those?

" And he sort of looks at me. - Man, you should have fucked a little. - I didn't. " He goes, oh, could they look familiar?

Yeah, 'cause they're fuckin' always at our events, they're big supporters of the Cigar Hustler and the brands. Should've been like, they're the new directors of Padrón. Come on, Pete, don't you know this? Yeah, what the fuck are you doing?

Oh, hello, gentlemen. Nice to meet you. Yeah. Would you like some of Greg's Scotch?

Here, have some of Greg's Scotch. But, yeah. Just a little, because I'm drinking it myself. I don't want to go too far into the Pete thing, but some shit went down there, it was pretty funny.

Oh, I sat there for 15 minutes while he told me how great you and Greg were. Oh, that's awesome. Yeah, well, after five minutes, he started repeating himself and stuff, and I couldn't, there was no pause where I could go, well, I need to talk to somebody, I need to get a drink, I need to stop listening to you ramble in my ear. So, so I did the event, the Placencia event on Friday?

Yes. And it was like a fucking ghost town, right? Right. So I'm looking at Mike and I said, hey, listen, I think there's a party tomorrow.

I have reason to believe that there's a party on Saturday, and I think that would explain as to why... I think we did the cutting light too close. Yeah, I mean, that could have hurt too, but I honestly think that, you know, if half of those people, your regulars, were downstairs, and they were to some degree, you know, between Jesse and Pedro and, you know, the Gordons and, you know... Right.

There was enough people there that would have been there on Friday, but... The Gordons aren't a big fan of Plasencia cigars. You don't think so? No.

No, they're not. Okay. Did the air die? It's getting hot in here.

So then I guess the event just sucked. I think it was too close to the cutting light. Get up and turn it down. I don't have it down as low as it normally is because we're saving money.

Ah, we're cutting costs. Cutting costs. Yeah, it's normally at 71. But I got to have some good conversation with Mike.

Mike Denny's. Oh, Mike Denny's. Yeah, you guys are talking about fitness and working out and stuff. That was the beginning of the conversation.

Oh, well, I left at 8:15, 8:30. Yeah, we got more in depth afterwards than just about other stuff, personal stuff. He's a good guy. He really is.

You gave a lovely speech at the end. We won't go into the details about it, but it was a nice speech. At what point did you know your birthday was on Saturday? A birthday party?

After Friday night? Yeah, I was going to say, when it didn't happen Friday night? Yeah, after Friday night. I'm like, okay, so it's definitely Saturday.

Yeah, he was pretty sure it was Friday night. Yeah, I thought at first it was going to be on Friday. What were you thinking when you had to put on the blindfold before you got in the car? We're going to Cigar Hustler.

So there was no fooling you where you were ending up. Oh, no fooling him. Yeah, it's the only venue in the budget for the party. Yes.

See, what we got to do is we got to, like, blindfold them, drive all the way down to, like, Smoke on the Water, pick up Danny down there, and keep them blindfolded. So then he hears Danny talking in the car. That's a six-hour car ride. Yeah, but then he'll never guess that we're going to Cigar Hustler after that.

Okay, you're in charge of that next year. That seems a bit over the top. You can't drive 45 minutes without taking a nap. Yeah, we've got to fool you though.

You're never fooled. No. Okay, we'll build a fake plane. We'll put you in it.

That sounds actually like a great idea. Okay. It'll just be one of the trailers out back. Oh my God.

Why is it so hot in here? Maybe we could do the podcast in there too. Oh shit. We're on our own plane now.

Yeah, there you go. Right, we're on our own plane. Cigar Hustler podcast plane. Did you cut the grass?

I did cut the grass on Sunday, yes I did. Thank God, I was concerned. Oh, this show is going to be bananas right here. It has bananas.

Because you had a busy weekend, you were helping out a lot. Yes. Well, it's been a busy couple of months, actually, with the party planning. A lot of planning.

A lot of planning. A lot of planning. Brittany had her text messages turned off, so that notifications... I wonder why you never heard.

I mean, there were some nights where it was back and forth. Who are you talking to? Yeah. Talking to Brittany, we've got details about the party.

I'm trying to work this out. I'm trying to work this out. I mean, I don't look at it. Even if it's going off, I'm not.

Yeah, I mean, there were times where she had to be right next to you, or in the same, you know, in the house if you're in the house. Well, we're normally sitting next to each other in the evenings, right? Right, out on the patio and stuff. I mean, she's always on her phone, she likes the solitaire thing, so I'm not like, what are you doing?

Is it the solitaire cash thing? I think it is. Is she making any money? I tried that.

She's close. Close to making money? Yeah. Yeah, I gave up.

She's got like 20 bucks or something. I put $5 in to play the big money. I'm like, I just won two. That puts me negative three.

How did that work? So, out. Done. I'm done with this.

Done with that one. Yeah, and my best friend growing up, you know, he was there. The big guy, John. John.

Yeah, I helped him light a cigar. Did you? Yeah. Oh.

I've met him a couple times. Yeah. He didn't remember, but it's not a big deal. No, he wouldn't remember.

Yeah, no. And he consumes a god-awful amount of Bud Light. Yeah, he was carrying four at one time. Yeah.

He'd go to the fridge and get four. Yeah, he's very thirsty, honey. Don't pay attention to the big man. He is next level.

He is next fucking level. It's very impressive. And there was like a little video thing, montage of people who couldn't make it and stuff. Yeah, that was another task in itself.

There weren't a whole lot on there that there were more than we're supposed to be. Yeah, I know. That's okay. We're gonna build a little list, people that, well, Rosales actually, at least he made the video.

Yeah, he canceled at the last minute from what I understand. Yeah, but he no-showed. Yeah, he didn't. Skip?

Skip was never coming. He was very busy. Skip was busy playing with Poison Ivy in fucking Austin, Texas. Oh yeah, apparently he did, but I don't think that was the plan originally though.

He had something in New York or something. I got plans I have to garden. Is that what it was? Yeah.

Oh, not even a big day. Z showed up a day early by mistake. He popped in. He thought it was Friday night, too.

That makes sense. Because when he hugged me the second time, he leaned in and went, bro, I fucked up. I'm here on the wrong day. I'm like, yes, you are.

I'll tell him I'm seeing my nephew. Like, okay, whatever you want to do. Jack Taranio did a great job covering, because he kind of blew it at first. Yeah.

He called me originally when the invitation came to him. Yes. He thought it was for my brother, I guess. So I was like, uh.

No, I think he said that to cover. " No, he thought he was calling Greg, I think, 'cause there's no way, I have the invitation, obviously, your picture's on it. There's no way he knew it was for the different ones. Right.

I think he thought he was calling Greg when he called you. Ah. So, but he did a good job acting like he wasn't gonna be here, and then he showed up. Right, yeah.

It was brought up several times in our daily phone calls about the party and what it should get you and present ideas. He got me ice cream. Yes, I know. That was a great idea.

Very excited about the ice cream. Is it like ice cream of the month or something? I don't know. It's supposed to be really good ice cream.

Yeah, I have to try the ice cream. Looking forward to that. Nice. Erik Espinosa called me this morning.

Oh, did he? Yeah. Very cool. Jack got you that wonderful video from Guy Fieri.

He did give me the Guy Fieri video. Right. And we have these shirts. Yes.

You want to show these shirts? Which one are we showing first? Well, this green one. This is the new.

The brandy new knuckle sandwich shirt. Yes. That no one has seen yet. Here they are.

Those are very pretty. We will have these on next week as I'm hiding behind. Well, you will. Oh, I will.

I can't fit into this. Sure you can. He thought, like the shirt you have on now, he thought that was a large. They are.

My shirts are tight. This is kind of. To some degree. It is kind of blousey.

It might fit. I got to tell you. What size is yours? Listen, I'm a large man.

This is an XL. You got a large. So I'm an XL man. And then we got, what about these?

Are these also men? He didn't give any story. He just said there's two shirts. He goes, I put two shirts for everybody in there.

Espinosas. Oh, nice. Yeah. Maybe this is a Lozona shirt this year or something.

So I'm waiting on the Matt Booth call. I don't know if that's going to happen or anything. He didn't call? Because we did a whole thing about this.

He fucked this up, remember? Last year. Yeah. Was it last year?

It was last year. Yeah. No, it was the year before. We'll fuck that up again.

Well, he said on the interview that you had a birthday coming up. I know. Yeah, I think he thinks that was kind of. That qualifies?

It doesn't qualify. I think so. It does not qualify. Who else did you get calls from?

Big Dick Energy. Yes, Big Dick Energy. Who else did you get calls from? Anybody notable?

I'm sure I did. I don't know. Oh, they're so notable, you just don't remember. The Justin Andrews call.

No. Unbelievable. And he claims he wasn't invited. He was invited.

He was invited? He was invited. Unbelievable. Oh, that's even better.

Yes. Is my road caster attached? Are you going to call him? He's in Nicaragua right now.

Nothing's lit up. Okay. I'll let him, I'll let him off the hook for it. So he was invited.

Yes, but he's in Nicaragua. He's not at a meeting. He might be having a meeting there. Zoom, Zoom meeting.

He was, see the picture with AJ Fernandez yesterday? No. He put up a picture of him talking to AJ Fernandez. Yeah.

And I commented on it where he goes, okay AJ, here's the joke. They call me every week, and I tell them in this god-awful meeting with an absurd name, and they believe me all the time, and he goes, yes, that's exactly how it happened, I could tell, I could read your lips, AJ's like, I say the same thing, yeah, but he said it in Spanish, I like his, well, when he posted, well, I didn't get the invite or whatever, I guess I won't, you know, now I don't feel so bad not answering the phone when I come, oh yeah, that's what he said, I was like, well, nothing, this changes nothing in my everyday life, so, uh, I don't, thanks for the, The punishment? Right. I don't know.

Whatever. Yeah. There was other things I was going to mention, but now they have left my brain. Oh.

Oh, on the Bear Show. Yes. Oh, I can't talk about it. Never mind.

It was after the Bear Show. Oh. When he's ready to announce something, I'll talk about it. Can we talk about it on the Patreon?

Stop recording. He's got some big news. It did stop, or? That camera did.

Oh. But that one's still showing up. That one's still going, just keep going. Yeah, no space.

Yeah, probably ran out. Oh, is that what it says on the screen? Yep. Ah.

So what, did we get three shows on that card? Four? Yeah, once you know it's good as it goes, just scrub it out. Well, then you gotta take that whole thing apart.

Okay. What? That's your job. That's also my job?

Yes. I gotta do everything now. No, no. You don't edit.

You don't upload. You don't make the graphics for the week. You don't. Now I gotta handle that.

You don't make the description of the episode. Keep going. You don't clean the room. Keep going.

You don't clean the room either. Sure I do. I did when I had to rewire it two weeks ago. So every two weeks?

Everybody's happy now that the hum is gone. Yeah. Oh, it is gone. It was gone last week.

I don't know if that was it or if I did something. Oh, I dubbed. Yeah, we found a way around the hum. Right.

That's what it was. No more humming. No more humming. It's getting better.

So yeah, great birthday. Great birthday party. Good, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah.

Do you feel 40? I feel 50. Yeah. Oh, the way do you get to 50?

You feel 60. Everything hurts. Yeah, everything hurts. It does.

After working Friday, partially Friday night, Saturday, cutting the grass Sunday, knee brace last night, and I was looking for other, and apparently I've broken out with some rash. I got something, I got into something on my arms. Poison ivy. No, that's what Adrian keeps going.

" We don't have poison ivy in our yard. Wow. It might be one of those stinging nettles. Oh, yeah.

Yeah, I might have ran over it with a lawnmower and it sprayed up on me or something. Hmm. My goodness. You're a mess.

56. Feels like 80. Feels like 80? Feels like 80.

Feels like 80. I can't wait to see what 80 feels like for you. I'm not going to make it that far. You don't think so?

No. Where do you think? I'll be training my replacement in three years. At 59.

Yes. You think at 59 you're cooked? Nah. Too stupid to die.

Yeah, that makes sense. Right. So much easier. I'm really intelligent.

You're not allowed to talk about that on the show. I know, I know. I did like during your very emotional speech and everything, your birthday party, people kept yelling out my name. Oh, yeah?

To interrupt you. They wouldn't mean interrupt you. Really? You don't remember that?

" Oh. I don't know, you were emotional. I was kind of zoned in. I was pissed off at one guy, because I didn't want any of it recorded.

Yeah, somebody videotaped behind you. Yeah. I have the singing of the happy birthday to put up at the end of the show. Oh, very nice.

Because it's shot from the back, so you're doing a lot of dancing, and your butt is back. Oh. And a lot of dancing with your butt. Oh, very nice.

It's been nice. I can throw the guy Fieri video up, too, if you want. Yeah, that's cool. Okay.

Throw that out there. He's, you know, Gallivanting, traveling the world or whatever. Well, apparently Jack texted him at, like, 10 o'clock in the morning. Yeah.

Didn't expect to hear back from him anytime soon. He had it in two hours. Oh, wow. That's impressive.

It is impressive. Yeah. The guy's a very busy man. Yeah.

Just bang down the car. Yeah, he was just driving, so it probably worked out well. Yes, I can just do this. I can do this in a car.

I got a couple hours to kill. I got my minions with me. Sure. The full boat car.

Yeah, we have a lot of people in that car. We're with you, guy. Riding with you. Bring the chicken.

Riding with you, buddy. On a knuckle sandwich. So yeah. Yeah.

Well, pretty good, bud. Pretty good. So what'd you do Sunday? Anything?

Just recoup and clean up? Yeah. Sunday was kind of chill. Just kind of hung out.

Anything planned for today? Your actual birthday? Just a cake with the kiddos and stuff. m.

Saturday. So, Sunday, there was some sleeping. m.? Yeah.

What are we doing? I don't know. It seems silly. My father-in-law was in town.

We hung out on the patio. Oh, yeah. Carmen, I like him. Yeah.

So, we were out there for a while. I'm like, all right, it's after five. I have to get up soon. Yeah.

And, like, your body is trained. Right? Sure. Right.

So, excuse me. So, you know, I could force myself to stay down till about nine. Right. Yeah.

And that was it. It was like, okay, dude, that's where we're going. We are ready. We're ready to go.

This is it. There's the burning daylight. We got things to do. Yeah.

We got shit to do. So, um, yeah, I worked on a couple of other things at the house and I got some projects that I'm working on. Some very cryptic secret things. See how they develop.

" Not really built that way. " and just veg out in front of the TV. Right. " So I came up here, took the Mike and Mike thing apart from the other room, cleaned up some in here and stuff, set up, because Dana's show was just there.

Nice. I played video games with the kids. Did you? Yeah.

I've been doing that a lot. Good. Well, now that the babysitter's upping your experience points or whatever. Yes, exactly.

Right, yeah, so you have a better character. I'm about to hit level 200. Oh, you need to go out there and let him come over. So much easier.

Right. You know? I would like to be level 400 before you leave, if that would be okay. Oof, dude, the devotion to get to level 400, it's gotta be.

Is it really hard to go from two to four? Maybe you gotta go out twice next week. Yeah. Well, it's gonna reset here in like seven or ten days or something.

It goes back to level one. What? Why is that? What?

Yeah, it resets every, like, three months or two months. So nobody can be, like, a level thousand. Yeah, so what happens is it resets so that you can earn another battle pass and get other cool things. Oh!

Earn or pay for another battle pass? How does that work? Well, if you don't spend the V-Bucks over and over again, then you can just, you acquire them by earning them more in the battle pass. By playing?

Yeah. Oh. You know what I did do? I totally forgot.

Well, I totally forgot about this. What is it? I don't know how I forget about this. I took my kids to see Deadpool.

Oh, that's right. You didn't mention it. You did that Friday. Deadpool, Wolverine.

Number one movie in the world right now. Fucking every bit of amazing. Terrence Riley does not know. Terrence Riley did not like it at all.

You know what? Listen. For Terrence, I think that he peaked at like fucking Gone with the Wind or something. I don't know what it is.

It's just absolutely absurd. The stuff that he said he was upset about is in it, but I don't see that. That was every bit of what it should have been. Right.

Deadpool movie, first of all, is completely sarcastic. Yeah. Right. A lot of over the top blood.

Yeah. A lot of killing. Right. You know.

I've seen a lot of TikTok people walked out, but they're... They walked out? For what? Churchy people.

Churchy people and stuff they didn't like. I guess they don't like 'cause he called himself... Churchy people? Haven't they seen Deadpool 1?

Well, he called himself Jesus or something in the movie. He's Marvel Jesus? Yes. That's pissed some people off.

Let me make something perfectly clear. Yes. Deadpool is Marvel, Jesus, without question, without question, Deadpool is Marvel, Jesus. The cancel culture just attacked us.

That's fine. Unbelievable. I'm going to be down to two listeners now. How do you know the guy on the candle is the real guy?

You know what's funny? What's funny to me is, like, I brought my 8 and 11 year old to the movie. Right. Like, it was, and they fucking loved it.

Sure they did. It's the most American thing we could do this weekend. Oh, you watch any Olympics? No, fuck that, that's not American.

Everybody hates that now, too. Oh, yeah? Well, if you're talking about the thing in the beginning, yeah. Yeah.

Yeah, with the thing in the beginning. Well, apparently the athletes are hating it now, too, so they're moving out of the village. Yeah. Look.

Beds suck, no air conditioner, and now they're bringing in private chefs because the food sucks. Well, it's in France, bro. Yeah, French food sucks anyway. Think so?

You would think it'd be good. Only if you wanted a baguette. Well, maybe the food's good, but the other shit's... Well, apparently in the village, it's all plant-based.

Oh. Because they're trying to be eco-friendly, whatever, so... Okay, so we've lost our mind in France a little bit. Okay, get it.

What do these athletes eat? What's the point? Meat. They need protein.

Look. All right, so now you got me addressing so many things. Number one. Number one.

He's in overload. People being in an uproar about anything in the Olympics is the fucking most ridiculous thing I've heard in my life. Get over yourself. If you're upset, change the channel.

Whatever. Well, it's on all the channels. Okay, well, you know what? There's Netflix.

I don't know what to tell you. Oh, not no more. They're not Netflix? Oh, they've got rid of Netflix now?

There's just a lot of, I don't know. Oh, because of the whole Republican, or he voted, or somebody. Oh, he gave money, yeah. Okay, well listen.

The owner of the company gave money, not the company. I don't know how much more someone should be added on your list here. Look, there's Hulu. I don't know, there are options, bud.

Paramount Plus. Maybe a fucking break, you know. The whole world's falling apart. Come the fuck on, man.

You can't go to the movies, there's nothing on TV anymore. You know, I just, I can't wait till election season's over. I don't give a fuck. Whoever wins, I don't care.

Yeah, it's gonna be a circus until then. I just want this over with already because the feed on social media is already over the top. Like, I'm just fucking giving a break. Over the top?

But look, if I'm an athlete, if I'm an athlete and I'm in the Olympics, I'm not banking on wherever the fuck I'm going to provide the food. I'm making sure that I have all of those resources squared away. Yeah, this is normal life. You can't bring your own food.

Okay, so then I would arrive to France early. That's early. Do you know how the cigar trips work? You can't bring your own food?

I'm like, fuck you. I would have things set up. No, there's rules. Oh, you can't bring food in?

Right. Well, I can understand. Sure it is. It's just like you can't bring fruits and vegetables from a foreign country.

They don't want you bringing them into their country. You know what I can understand? You could land in France. Right.

And then you can establish food sources that you would need on the weekly basis as though you're there. Where are you going to get that? It's not a fucking third world country. No, it's not.

They eat high protein. What he's saying is you can't leave the village. Right, you can't leave the village. They have rules for, I'm sure, probably for like PEDs and stuff like that.

That's probably why they try to do that. They had to get special permission to bring in air conditioners. Because you can breathe in PED. All right, well listen, fuck France.

I don't know what to tell you. But I'm not going to go on social media about it and be fucking in an upper, you know? Why not? It just seems like it's too much.

That's what you do. You want to get the attention so that you get sponsors. So that you get sponsors, so that you can make someone's money back, you've been spending your entire life to learn how to canoe. I mean, if the Olympians are an opera, that's fine, but if I see somebody else, it's not an opera.

No, no, it's the Olympians, it's not like we're upset, I don't care what they eat. There are people that are upset. Oh, I'm sure there are. Yeah.

Maybe their parents. No, it's not their parents. It's like the, you know, 30% body fat guy. Yeah, I mean, I don't know the food I've seen.

Oh, it's Justin Andrews. It's Justin Andrews. It's not Justin Andrews. BDP, I would mount you like a fucking facehugger.

Thank you, Mr. Booth. I've been thinking about that since I said it earlier. I've been thinking about it since you said it when you were here.

And the only reason why Matt Booth knew was probably because he was invited to the party. Yeah, he was. Yeah. He was.

I handled that personally. No video. No message. No video.

No message. A lot of people had vacations planned. Oh. Groover's in Columbia.

Yeah. Mike the Mailman is in Alaska. Sam went on a cruise. Alaska?

Yeah, he's in Alaska. Yeah. There were a couple other people, too, that either had cigar events planned, industry people, or... Well, you know, that's what you get for parents banging in, what, October?

November. Right. I mean, it is summertime, so, you know, if you can move your birthday to maybe November. I mean, it was a little cooler out that time.

Just snuggled up, and bam, baby. Maybe next year we do your birthday in November. Oh, no, she said you don't get another party until 50. Perfect.

I don't feel like that's true. " I'm just telling you what she told me. I don't know, maybe I might walk this back. I might go a different direction.

What, go down in numbers? Go like 39th birthday? Oh, go backwards? No, like at 41, you know, maybe not have a party.

Yeah. Maybe we just all sit around and smoke cigars. Maybe I'll just go far away. Are you going to leave?

You know what I want for my birthday, Brittany? Go see John McTavish. I just want to leave. I just want to go away.

To a quiet place. Oh, that'll be nice. No, you don't get to come. I'm just going by myself.

Oh, for your birthday? No, no, that's what you tell her. And she goes, "Oh, that'll be nice. " No, I want to be with my wife and kids.

Oh! Not much of a birthday. I love being with the cast. Are you kidding me?

Yeah, but you do that all the time. You just thought you want something different. Yeah, just bring it somewhere else. Oh.

You know? Yeah. Go to France, I hear the food's really good. I heard, you know what, we're gonna go to France.

But you can't leave the village. And I'm gonna bring my own AC in there. Yeah, 'cause the village will be empty. You can't leave the village.

Yeah. It'll be a white elephant. Right. You know, this year only, well, for this Olympics, only two countries offered to take it.

I guess nobody wants to do it anymore, it's too expensive. I believe that. All the building and the venues and stuff, and you don't get a return on your investment. There's no ROI?

No. It's so ridiculous. That's so ridiculous. Because everything just sits and starts decaying.

I mean, what are they going to use it for after the Olympics are over? Well, if you watch Billions, it explains that. Yeah, obviously you don't watch Billions. I stopped watching Billions, too.

Is even the same people on it anymore? You stopped watching it? Yeah. When Bobby Axelrod...

Oh, that's the end, by the way. When Bobby Axelrod left... Alright, it's been the end of the show, Gary. Apparently Phil just said it's over.

When Bobby Axelrod left, are we at 30 minutes? We're at 31 minutes. Okay. Yeah, it's almost...

And then he came back, and I'm like, oh, what am I going to do? All right. Well, hey, we're going to pause this here. Okay.

And hopefully when we're back, we're going to find out if we will have Pete Hernandez or not. If not, we'll be getting into the news. He's upstairs. All right.

So then allegedly we'll have Pete Hernandez. All right. Oh, yeah. There you go.

All right. Now we can hear you. Can I hit start now? Are you done over there?

You want me to hit the cigar house over there? No, no, no, no. We're just going to put it in. Oh.

We don't need music again. Oh. - It's not a whole new show. - Oh.

- It's the second half of the first one. - All right. - Just wait ahead and say, you know, and he's ready. - Yeah, go.

- Yeah, you know what? Fuck Alfredo. - Whoa. - Hey.

- Hey. - Hey, who else, man? Start right out, huh? - That's how you're gonna start, huh?

- Right in the paint there, just right at him. - Oh my goodness. - Gosh. - Super aggressive, buddy.

- Yeah, right? - I thought he was getting cash out of the bag so he could pay us all. I went and bought some cigars, and I wanted the samples, but I figured, you know, I, That's a terrible bag, we won't be smoking. Well, I mean, we'll, you know, hold it.

Yeah, make sure you can still read all the addresses on the front, that's only getting in cover. Yeah, so I bought some samples. Well, I got some samples I wanted to share with you guys, thinking that you never can tell. Sometimes we can rendezvous and circle back on certain things that we've had in the past and want to go forward with in the future.

So would you prefer that we review something on the Patreon together? Because I had these Plasencias that I was going to review. Oh yeah, fuck you. Fredo.

Hit the Fredo button again. Oh, it's all good stuff there. Fuck Alfredo. Do you have four or something?

Gosh. Was Alfredo drinking during that? Oh, it was me. It was you.

It was early. I'm sure it wasn't. That was Tequila Pete. I wonder if he has...

Right. Now, this is coffee. This is coffee. You want to do two and two, maybe?

Coffee, Pete. Oh, wait, there's three. The Verrocco. It's got to be four.

The 20th. Let's see. Did you buy three of every there? No.

Some I got more of. The less expensive one. There you go. Just as good.

So you only got three 50s? All right, so we're going to review the Tatuaje Verrocco. Tatuaje. Yes.

Verrocco? Verrocco. How do you say it? Verrocco.

You must say Verrocco. Verrocco. Roku's what I watch my TV. I'm gonna fucking slam this bag down here.

It's handmade. Let's fuck this guy. I like that one. We should've made that a sound clip.

Yeah, throw it in the other jet. Put that away. There you go. There you go, back in the back.

Oh, thank you very much. Here, give one the beat. Would you like one of your own cigars? So you attended the birthday party?

I did. Yes. And what an event it was. Yes.

Yeah. It was like a multi-vendor thing with not many vendors, which is great. Right, just the important ones. You know, I was expecting more cigar guys, you know, more of the industry cats.

I'm glad they weren't here. Who did you, who did you expect that wasn't there? The best ones were there. Absolutely.

At least the best one of the ones. 2 grams. Who did you expect? Oh, I don't know.

Oh, this is the list. You're going to make his list. Let's see. Skip Martin?

I thought Skip Martin. Yeah, I mean, yeah, yeah, you know, that's a big one. He was unavailable, unavailable. I'll tell you what everybody's answer was, he was playing with Poison Ivy.

Oh, perfect, yeah, can you say that on the regular one? Sure. " And that's okay, or someone from that camp I thought would be here. Yeah.

Other people canceled at the last minute. They had things pop up. Notice how I did. I didn't confirm until the last minute.

Correct, yes. Pete did not say yes early in the not show. He said yes late. Although I knew I was going, I knew I was coming, we're trying, 2024, we are trying not only not to lie, right, in any instance, right, I don't want to, yeah, because I mean, it's easy to bullshit.

I'm sorry, are we bothering you? No, it's easy to, it's, uh, who got the bag from? They need their bag back. Oh, yeah, they want their bag back?

Hey, you didn't pay for the bag? Yeah, that's right, eh, I'm fucking kidding. It's, uh, you know, I don't want to say I'm going to do something, then not do it, uh, although I knew I was coming, I just wanted to make sure. I didn't care that I'd be here, and so I didn't give the AOK until like Thursday last week, or Wednesday, or whatever.

Wednesday, Thursday. So Pete's defense, I did not have to chase him for the answer. So who else? Who else?

Let's see. Who else? " Well, I knew Alfredo wasn't coming because Taranio was coming from that camp, right? Yeah.

I mean, look, Alfredo doesn't come anyways. Yeah, he doesn't come to sell stuff. He's not coming for a friend. Alfred doesn't say that, though.

Yeah. Oh, really? Yeah, he gets there quickly. Well, she knows that he gets there quickly.

In a timely fashion. In a timely fashion. Smoke on the waters, right there. Right.

I heard he's not allowed to go there anymore. Oh, he's been exiled? No. Really?

That's not true. Well, I've talked about it on the other show. I'm the one they wish I wouldn't show up, but, you know. I've talked about it on the other show.

They haven't been asked not to come back. Please not exile, man. But is this a 6x52? Let's see.

And anybody, yeah. Yeah, it looks like four. No, this is smaller. It's a smaller one.

Yeah, I think it's a 50 by six and a half. Or six. Yeah, six. There's a Toro.

I thought anybody, you know, who kind of lives in the area, that didn't have to travel all over half across the state. The two guys that did come, did have to travel halfway across the state. Yeah. Which, you know, doesn't speak to anything other than their affection for you.

That's right. You know, that's all. That's really what it matters. So, who else did die?

Play out the names. You know, I don't know, I'd have to look in the human order to see who coincides with the, you know, I'm, you know, I didn't expect. Which ones rhyme with friend? BDP, I would mount you like a fucking facehugger.

I've been thinking about that since I said it earlier. Yes, Matt, me too. Thank you. What about him?

You thought he was coming? Ah, that guy's coming across the country. If he would have been in town, he would have shown. Yeah, he was here two weeks ago.

Yeah, he would have shown if he was in town. Oh, he forgot the date. He thought it was them. I think he just said that.

No, I think he would have shown up if he would have been on this side. Who else? I guess that's it. Pete Johnson.

No. No. Saka. Howard G.

He had events all weekend. And funny thing, yes, I thought Howard G. Because I had spoken to him the night before. I didn't mention this, because who knows who's invited, but I did step into the bathroom, and his name was on the screen, because his podcast was coming through, and I, ah, he's not here.

Yeah. He might not be allowed to come here. No, Matt Hunt. He's allowed to come here.

Is he? I like him. Even though he's, yeah, I know. Hey.

Did you hear the name he just yelled at? Matt Hunt? He was a no-show. Yeah, he no-showed.

I don't know who that is, Matt Hunt. FQ Cigars. Oh. He RSVP?

Yep, he was, personally, I talked to him, he was coming. Yeah, I'll be there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got my spaghetti sauce, hold on, I'll be there then.

Can I bring sauce? I'd like to bring some sauce. It's kind of standard. Who else?

It's kind of standard. We did have, we had an old cigar guy, you know, who's no longer a cigar guy. Hell yeah. Yeah, he was here.

LFT Kearney. Yes, sir, he was here. Or formerly. Now it's Shoulders of Giants.

Shoulders of Giants. Because listen, at the end of the day, you know, it's not, well, you're not in the business, but he's still my friend. And he is in Winter Park. Yeah.

And you know, he's got a kid and a wife. He sent a fucking... I'd love to get away from that, too, if I had to. Bro, he had a birthday card that wouldn't stop playing.

It was like a mariachi band. I knew once I opened it, I was fucked. " So I've been hiding it around the house and harassing my wife with it. " Hey, your wife's awesome, man.

She is. That's awesome that she did that. That was very cool. Yeah, that was a good time, and I'm surprised that that tent that she had outside, I had one of those, it lasted one rain fall.

Yeah, that's about how long that one lasted. Yeah, yeah. I saw your mom in the tent and I wanted to warn her, because I knew it was going to fall on her. " Yeah, he did!

Houston, we have a problem. Exactly. Oh, that was great. Did they try to save the tent, or did they just go in the dumpster?

No, we threw it away. " It's disposable. Yeah, just be done with it. Did Greg get his broomsticks back?

I have no idea. Okay, some of the braces broke. Yeah, so you were using broomsticks? Greg brought them from home.

Oh, wow. With the, you know, the broom head screwed off. Nice. So, he might have a couple of hand brushes now at his house.

And you moved in now, I heard, to Boots' house. I got a room. Yeah. I got a room.

And I gotta tell you, I- Forwarded the mail, you're all saying? Dude, I walk out of that camper, I shake my hair like this, and I feel like Kid Rock. Yeah. I gotta tell you.

Oh, it's his concert bus. Oh, it was- Do or bust? It is awesome. So, how many days is it until you have squatters rights, instead of curiosity?

Well, I set the change of address. Yeah? As soon as that comes in. You're good to go.

Everybody's on it. Everybody's okay. I got the green light from the parents next door. His wife's is good.

His daughter loves me. The cat's humping my leg. Or was it the dog? No, it was the cat.

The cat. I love it. It's the only cat I like. And it liked me, too.

Yeah, a lot? Oh, yeah. A lot. It's a street cat that found a place to live, and it's big and fat.

We'll never go anywhere. Not going anywhere, yeah. This place is amazing. I've been on them streets, man.

It's tough. I'm staying here. I don't care. A little girl can drag my ass around those houses.

I don't care. And there's a line of cats outside waiting to get in. That's right. Waiting on me to kick.

I'll tell you, Boots has got more pussy to know what to do with. Yeah. Hey, buddy. Just call it like I see it.

So, all right. So you're moving in. It's confirmed. That's it.

Yeah, this is... This will be the... Would you consider this the east coast of Florida? Yeah.

Central east. Central east. Spot on the West Coast. Now I got a spot on the East Coast.

There you go. Do you have a key or whatever? No, I don't have a key, but I don't think it has a lock, so we're good. Yeah, it's an RV.

We're good, yeah. Where are you going to be? I did peel the sheets this morning, put them on the washer. Nice.

So you've got to behave. Oh. Yeah, yeah. You've got to be respectful.

I have a question. What were the bathroom rules with the RV? Don't use it. Not at all?

Not even number one? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Nothing. Well, I don't know how that works.

Well, it's not hooked up. Yeah. Well, I know it would fill the tank. I understand.

Yeah, I don't want to fucking into it. Right. But I was just curious if he just went ahead and just dropped a dude. We're going to have to work out some bathroom details.

I did have to go to the gas station one night because I didn't want to wake up. Well, I didn't want to go inside the house. That's not why he went to the gas station. That's true.

Tell him the real reason, bro. I wanted a burrito, and I got a burrito, a taco at Taco Hell. And on the way out of Austin, it was a McDonald's right there. So I went in for a double cheeseburger with extra.

After the tacos? In between. I didn't eat them in the car, I took the Smorgasburg home to, you know, my place. Laid it out on the buffet.

Yes, yes. You laid them across the bed and you ate. Yes. That's why you had to peel the sheets and sauce and cheese everywhere.

And forgot to go to the bathroom. So then I had to wiggle my way into the house anyway. Oh. Slowly.

Here's a nice piece of shit. Exactly. Did you use the one in their bedroom? That's where you should have went.

No. Oh, man, it's, uh, yeah. Oh, shh. Sorry, guys.

I have to go to the bathroom. He didn't even know there was a bathroom there. I didn't show him that one. Oh, he kept that one in.

Hey, I hope you guys are okay. You know what? It was a nice... I'll keep the light dim.

Can I get you anything? It was beautiful. I have not been in a... Boots, scooch over.

family home that way, you know? Yeah, yeah. And it was a really nice to feel that home pictures and family, you know? You know, I hadn't had that, I hadn't been in that kind of, you know, scenario.

Yeah, and normally you're running out the back door because the husband come home early for lunch. Right, gotta get out fast. Oh fuck, I gotta go. I thought he knew.

You know? Husband? She said it was an open relationship. I don't know, husband?

So, that was actually very nice. We had Sunday dinner at his mom's house and she made delicious dinner. You know, she appealed to both of my ethnicities. Well, both of my nationalities, half Cuban, half Dominican.

Yeah. Black beans, red beans. And his mom and his dad, very, very nice beans. Very, very nice.

Did you go swimming in the pool? I chose to go back to my room. I needed rest. It was, you know, I'm not as young as I used to be.

How late was Friday night? Or Saturday night? How late was Saturday night? 'Cause I heard that there wasn't gonna...

I think when was, late was... Friday night was a late night. Friday night, so this was a... It was a weekend, man.

It was a weekend. Yeah, yeah. Boots and I got real close. He got real close.

Yeah? Yeah. How was the sex? Better for him than it was for me.

Yeah? Yeah. Okay. I didn't quite, you know.

His wife says it a lot. Is he a good, is he a strong power bottom, or what is it? He has his shimmy that was really nice. Yeah.

Yeah. It was unexpected. It was an unexpected shimmy. Cigar Hassler is the goddamn fucking best!

Now he's got the board. Oh my God. Oh, this is great, dude. That's Pedro.

That's Pedro. This is great, man. It's funny because you don't think you know what their voices sound like and you know exactly who they are when they come down. Sure, sure.

You guys are doing a hell of a job here. I like the new studio. Yeah. It's where it relaxes, no table.

Yeah, trying to make things a little, always trying to make things better. And you always are. This place is always, there's always something. Appreciate that.

Yeah, yeah. See, they're trying to deviate after we start talking about the sex thing. Right. And he's like, oh, man, I thought that was going to be interesting.

He doesn't want to get into details. People listen. People listen. Yeah.

I don't want anybody getting jealous out there. Yeah, right. You know. He doesn't know who one of his other friends listen to the show.

All right, well, hey, let's get into some news. Well, we have a Phil's Fun Fact. Do it? Yeah, I just sent it to you right before you came in.

All right, and then we'll get into the news. We'll get into the news. And then you want to stay on the Patreon? We'll talk some serious shit on the Patreon.

Whatever you like, yeah. I mean, I'm here. He's got to go back to Boucher's later, so it's fine, you know. Yeah.

Get his luggage in the back. No, what are you talking about? He's got to put the washer stuff in the dryer. Oh, that's right.

He's got to peel the sheets. Go ahead and pull the sheets. Actually, I don't want to overextend my welcome. I will be back soon.

I don't want to fuck it up. Yeah, I don't want to fuck it up. 72 hour rule. Right.

I was there for, I think I was there for 72 hours. Yeah, you gotta leave for 24. And then he can come back. Come back.

At some point, Tia's looking at Booth's like, what's going on? Is he moving in? What is going on? Yeah, where are we at on this?

Right. Can we get him to contribute to the mortgage? Or is he just... I'm in.

Your brother's starting to cut the grass. Can Pete cut the grass? Can Pete cut the grass? No, we'll just have Steven come.

We'll have Steven come. You are Steven. No, the other Steven. Oh, my Steven?

The other Steven. No, that's not Steven's job. Steven's job is keeping Pete in line. That's it.

Yeah, he's been out of jail. Terrible job he does at that. Yeah, well, listen. Yeah, I feel like this weekend it was more Pete keeping Steven in line.

We're asking a lot from Steven. But did Steve stay at the house too? No. Oh, maybe he had the whole gang there?

No, no, no, no, no. No, but it was, that camper's beautiful. It's beautiful. Yeah, I've actually thought, you know, maybe I could, you know, that might be a bad mood for me.

Living in a camper? A camper lifestyle? Yeah. Get one of those vans all the kids are driving around?

The Sprinter vans, right? Yeah. I know a guy who's selling one that's kind of like a cigar lounge thing. Oh, look at you.

There you go. A little pop-up. No. No, thanks.

It's great for you. Put a bed in the middle of it. Hey, if you just walk past my bed, you can get to the human room. Right.

Get one of those beds that fold out. Hey, just please don't step on the mattress, okay? Yeah. It's hard to get the footprints on.

Hold on, I gotta go, I gotta run to the nearest gas station and take a shit. Alright, hit Phil's right, hit your button. Let's go. Don't forget to turn it down in the middle.

Welcome to Cigar Hustlers Podcast Feature, Phil's Fun Facts. Hello, peoples. Alright, here's a light-hearted and fun fact. In 2005, the Animal Kingdom's largest gay pride event was held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, organized by the penguins at the San Francisco Zoo.

You gotta pick your own facts. You gotta read it. Let's go. I didn't pick this.

Two male penguins, Harry and Pepper... Tell us more about Harry and Pepper there, Phil. He became famous for their same-sex relationship, and even fostered an egg together, proving that love knows no bounds in the animal kingdom. Oh, that's very sweet.

That's nice. Would you call that love? I'm glad that you were excited about that. I'm glad that you got the show that I'm excited about this.

No, I just don't know where he gets these things wrong sometimes. I'm thinking those two guys are just making the best of it. Sure. Kind of like you and Boots Love this weekend.

I wouldn't call that the best of anything. All right? Just two dudes getting the thing. I get it.

Yeah. All right. Good for you guys. Good for you.

It was nice. You do what you gotta do. It's good for the penguins, I think. At least one of them.

Right. Right. True. So yeah, it was a great weekend.

The penguin do a reach with the flipper? Yeah. Yeah, it was a great weekend. Great weekend here in Deltona.

All right, so hit me with the news. Vacation capital of the state. Yeah. It's the epicenter of the cigar world.

Yeah, it's that too. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Wow.

You learn something every day. Yeah, it's not Miami. No. Or Tampa.

Or Tampa. From the four corners of the world, all the cigar industry news you could possibly need. The Cigar Hustler Podcast Report with Mike Toon. La Gloria Cubana Podium arrives in France as new addition original.

It takes getting used to finding the right rhythm with the smoke on the mic. Podium? Podium. P-O-D-I-U-M, Podium.

Is that the name of a cigar? Yes. It's an Olympic cigar. Oh.

Can I only get in France? Is it at the Village? Yes. Well, yeah, that's the only thing they do have is a lovely selection of cigars.

Is La Gloria Cubana in an uproar about France as well? Oh. No, they're completely happy with it, apparently. Well, the Olympics get underway in Paris this week.

The La Gloria Cubana Podium, a new edition regional cigar from Habano SA, has arrived in French cigar shops. Oh, see. Cigar is a Robusto extra that measures six and a tenth inches long and has a 50 ring gauge, a size known as the Dublés. See, there was one roller.

He fucked it up. It was too long. Sounds like a tour. Oh, that guy messed up somebody else's before, remember?

Oh, fuck. Yeah, but nobody's gonna be able to smoke it. They can't leave the villages. Well, I said six inches, not six and one.

Oh, fuck. Just fuck it. Just roll it. We'll say it's a double.

It's a double. Do they even smoke cigars in France? They smoke a lot of cigarettes. Do they?

Yeah, I tell you what, when I was there. Oh, that's right. Did I mention that? El Septimo.

Yeah. How'd that work out for you? Oh, I can't say that. He worked out great, are you kidding me?

Yeah, he went to France. Yeah. Oh, that's true, right? All expenses paid.

That's nice. Yeah, it was great. Is that guy still in the industry? Yes.

I think he is. Yes, he is. I don't know. I think he is.

You can't get away with it. He's not going anywhere. You don't think so? I think you're wrong.

Yeah, I think it's just a matter of time. So, either he's gonna get bored, or he's gonna get sick and tired of writing that off as a loss. Right. Right, one or the other.

Right. Or both. Right. He gives another cigar guy a lot of money.

That could happen. No, like another cigar. What do you mean, like a rep? No.

We usually find out. He doesn't know what he's talking about. All right, let's see. Yeah.

He thinks that Puerto Rico's in Miami. Right. Oh, wow. Yeah, it's in Orlando.

Yeah, it's in Orlando. Right, and what was it? The Castros. No, no, the guy.

The dreamer. Only the Castros get healthcare in Cuba. Yeah. Oh, no, the Fidells.

The Fidells. All those Fidells, not Castros. Yeah, the Fidells, right. They're all Fidells.

46 per cigar. Holy shit. Right. It's in France, bro.

It's in France. They had to take it over there. Oh. I got a feeling they'll be on the buy one, get one bin in no time.

Right. It's offered in a 10-count box, a total of 4,000 individually numbered boxes were produced for the release and the cigars are going on sale Tuesday, July 23rd, so last week. Beyond the standard Red Edition Regional Secondary Band, the cigars also get a bit of an added decoration. They have a foot band with the word "podium" on them, which, while inside the box, the cigars come wrapped in blue, white, and red ribbons that invoke thoughts of the French flag.

Oh, wow. All right. Oui, oui. All right, um, Artinsinio Del Tobacco signs International Distribution Agreement.

Who? Art, how do you say it? Say that word, Pete. Oh, that's not cheating.

Artesano. Artesano. Artesano. Artesano.

It's artesano. Artesano. Right. I like artesano.

Artesano. He went like fucking Pepe Le Pew on that. He did. No, it's French.

We're all doing French from the Olympics. Artesano. I thought it was Spanish in Cuba with the red beans and the black beans. It's easier to say than...

Step on cabbage? Step on cabbage. Yeah. Your mom gave that to me, right?

Yeah. Right. That's like the... That was...

By the way, Siri says it perfectly. Yeah? Yeah, every time. Says his name?

Yeah. Oh, my, uh, my phone does not say your name right at all. Not even close. Right.

She stutters, too. Your mom is the one that taught me to say it. Connect call from... Oh, fuck.

That's what Siri says. I don't know. You have a text message from... Oh, we're not saying his name again.

Anyway, they're the parent company of Viva La Vida Brand and announced that it has signed an international distribution agreement with the Humidor Project. Unlike most distribution agreements, which typically focus on just one or two countries, This will cover most of the world: Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. It doesn't mean now that Viva La Vida cigars will suddenly be available in a hundred countries, rather... I mean, you would think that would be what that means.

You would think that's what it would mean. Hey... Right, we're gonna put you in all these countries. We have the ability to...

Just not these countries. Yeah, okay. Like, oh no. Okay.

Right, that's what they're thinking. Right. Humidor Project now has the rights to market these cigars in those areas And signed local distributors to sell the company's cigars in those markets. , so they have the right to hire other people that may possibly want to sell their cigars in some of these countries.

Sounds like somebody got fucked. Yeah, it does. Yeah. It's like a car salesman.

I don't know if I'd make that. No, what we're going to do is we're going to have the rights to sell your stuff. Right, but we don't really want to. And then if we decide to, we can.

We can. But if we don't want to. But you still have to give us money. Yeah.

And cigars. We're going to need some samples. Yes, some samples. Lots of samples.

And the bags that Pete carries. We like those bags. Yeah, we love those bags. We love those bags.

The distribution globally by the Humidor Project is a significant step forward. See, Pete walked in and thought he was, like, doing a good thing. Yes. He's like, "Check this out.

" Right, yeah. And then instantly, instantly, fuck it. Instantly. He talked about gay sex.

Oh, yeah. And we saw that bag, and I was like, oh, dude, rough start. I lost interest in this story. All right, moving on.

La Gloria Cubana, Grand Legado arrives. I thought that that was the other one. Is that another story? Yeah, it's another story.

Yeah, but that one went to France. This one is coming to America. Right, this one. This one.

I see London, I see France. Got it. Yeah, I see La Gloria's underpants. Right.

This has no label. The newest La Gloria Cubana Arriving in America Cigar Shops is made only by workers who have at least 15 years of experience. So I would qualify. These are the people that didn't fuck up the measurements.

Yeah. This is an actual... Wait, no, no, no. So it's not a 10th.

Never mind. Never mind. The cigar is a La Gloria Cubana Gran Legato, a 7 3 quarters. Son of a bitch.

By 62. A what? That's big. A Salamone.

Oh. Oh, it's a Salamone. Yeah, that uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over... Popular size.

High-prime filler tobaccos. Well, I mean, I can think of one cigar that sells very well. That is a Salomon? Yeah, but you just can't get them on a regular basis.

All you have to do is charge more for them and you'll have them in stock. True. Which one? Don't tell him, don't tell him.

If he doesn't know what it is. He has no fucking idea. I've never smoked it. I had one.

Very good. Yeah. I've had one. Very bad.

Difference of opinion, I guess. And only the one because I am not smoking another one. I'm not either. We have no friends at that company anymore, so it's fine.

Oh, yeah, I guess. Yeah, they've all moved on to other things. I mean, if friends are not at a company, we're always going to be honest and open about our opinions. Certainly.

Yeah. But I might not say that kind of bad stuff. You know, that was just being mean. Okay.

You're just angry. Well, you said it. I'm choosing anger, or violence. Yeah, okay.

99, and production is limited to just 1,900 boxes of 10 cigars. Yeah, exactly. You smoked three of those for the fucking Frenchies. And I got an extra inch out of that.

Oh, yeah. It's important when you can give it an extra inch. Yeah. What wouldn't I do for an extra inch?

Right, exactly. Exactly. Can you timestamp that when Pete said, what would I do for an extra inch? Time stamp this.

57 minutes. There's no timer on anything over there. There's a timer on the board. Oh, he can't see it.

He's on the set. Oh my God. I just figured out with your voice, how it, how it carries. Yes.

It's a great voice, by the way. Thank you. Thank you very much. It's a douche baggery is what comes to mind.

Oh. Yeah. See that? Yeah.

In the best possible way. Oh, sure. I mean that in the best way. I understand.

See what happened when we started teeing off him. Now he's fighting back. Well, kind of like, no. Make fun of the gorilla here.

Go ahead. No, like the chamois. The chamois? Oh, the chamois guy?

Yeah. I don't like that. Do you have the chamois? No.

You pass on? How about the scrub daddy? I like that. Scrub daddy?

Yeah. That's a sponge. That's a sponge where you put your fingers in the eyeballs and then you're thumbing them out. I didn't know that's how that worked, but we have those in the house.

You didn't know that's how that worked? Yeah. There was like a whole assortment of ones you could buy. That's what we do.

Did you? Don't they come with a handle or something? No. Isn't that two in the pink, one in stink?

That's a... Same idea. Maybe now it's called a scrub daddy. Except you don't scrub it.

Yeah. It's more of an in and out than back and forth. It's actually the shocker. Right, there you go.

Let's see. What are we talking about? We're moving on. LaGuria Cubana.

Yep. Very excited. Oh, we're all done. We're done.

No, what else? Give me something else. Okay, hold on, hold on. Can't be all of it.

Give me something else. We did that one. We did that one. Viaje releases a private bale bird on a branch in a Furioso.

Furiosa. I said give me a fucking article. You don't like that one either? No.

Oh. That was one of his. He's not a Viaje guy. Oh, sorry.

He's a Tatuaje guy. Yeah, you're close. Oh my God. So close.

Oh my God. I thought he did Viaje too. What's going on here? Viaje answers to no man.

Oh. They just ship it. Lure Cigars has a new box press side. Who does?

Lure Cigars. Lure? Lure. L-U-R-E.

They have a fish theme. Oh. I don't like that one either, huh? Hmm.

Are these guys on vacation? The writers? It's a very slow week. I told you.

Everybody's out of town. Last week it was the same thing. Right. And then the shipping notifications, I just grabbed the headlines because I hate these stories.

So Rocky Patel Gold Labels heading to stores, H. Upman 180th Anniversary is shipping next week, Leroy Neiman 2024 something, Collector's Edition is shipping this week. Now we have a Florida story. Okay, let's get to that.

Finally, finally the decent story. No good news is what you're telling me. Sharks death positive for cocaine. I love that.

According to the marine biologist who published a study in Science of the Total Environment, 13 sharp-nose sharks were tested. Each shark's liver and muscles tested positive for high levels of cocaine, according to the study. " According to the BBC, experts believe that cocaine is getting into the water through illegal drug labs. Go figure.

It's a mystery. I don't know how it's happening. I mean that's not that odd, in Miami we have square groupers, have you ever heard of those, a square groupers? Oh yeah, square groupers, I've heard of square groupers, yeah, they eat the square groupers, and they're...

It's a bale, Michael, the bale or something, that's why it's square, I can't wait to see the poster for this episode, it's going to probably have coop inside of a shark mouth, maybe it's a... I bet you Peter Hernandez got a square grouper on him right now, in his car, in the back of his car. It's been a hell of a weekend. I'm not going to confirm or deny anything.

He has half of a square group. And no one is going to check my liver. It is not known whether the cocaine is changing the shark's behavior or not. Sharks are always angry anyway.

Oh, is that how that works? Yes. We can't confirm that. Can't confirm.

When we were up in Destin, Florida, one shark went nuts and bit three different people. Right. That motherfucker, he did several lines before. Exactly.

He's like, you know what? They found cocaine on him when they found the power. Yeah, yeah. They found power for New England.

I'm going to make a movie after him. Right, like Cocaine Barrel, we go around the chart. The only difference is ripping limbs off of people, not giving a fuck. Ripping limbs instead of ripping lines.

All right, so let's close this out. All right, bye. And we'll get on to the Patreon. Shop of the Week?

Yeah, Shop of the Week? I don't have any buttons. My Shop of the Week is Lake Country Cigars. Still?

Yeah, he's going. I'm doing an auction thing. You're just mad because you're not going. Where are they?

Where are they? Lake Country. Wisconsin. Oh, that's a beautiful country.

A lot of cheese. A lot of cheese. And it's beautiful this time of year. Do they bring cheese curds?

Do they have, do they make those available when you visit? No, I've never been, but I will be there with. You've been there before? You've been there not too long, but.

Yeah, no, I've never, you know what, I'm sorry. I've never experienced. This event. No, I've never been to, right, this event.

And I don't, it's a specific event. Right. That's kind of catered to. Let me help you.

Spa. Spa. Si. Fic.

No, fic. Fic. There you go. Perfect.

So it's an event that's kind of catered to like an auction and donations and stuff like that. Nice. So, yeah. And donations.

So nobody pays any money. Pretty much. Oh, nice. Pretty much.

You have a good time. It's all a big sacrifice. Yes. Jack Toronto's really looking forward to it.

He's not going. Oh, he's not? No, Tyler will be there. Oh, Tyler's going?

Yes. Oh, nice, Tyler. So Tyler's going to be there. He's looking forward to it.

You and him to share a room. Rosales is going to be there. Oh, okay. Then you can't.

You got to share a room with Rosales. Yeah. Unless he cancels. I don't know what time it ends.

You might cancel the list. See what time it ends. I might just get on a plane at the end of the event. Oh.

Red Eye? It's kind of far though. Like from the airport. Oh, that's right.

Give it a long drive. Yeah, let's stop and get the pizza. Yeah. Oh.

I don't know what he's talking about. Those were giant pizzas your wife got for the birthday party, by the way. Fucking. Those were huge.

It was good too. Yeah. Yeah. Customer of the week, Lazy Moon Pizza.

There you go. Where are they at? Did they hear locally? Downtown by Orlando.

They're in Orlando. They're in Orlando, and they got one, and they just opened up one in Winter Park. Really? Oh, so somebody had to bring them, they were not delivered.

Oh, yeah. Ah, gotcha. She knows, like, that's my jam. Ah, it was very good.

It was very good, yeah. Yeah, she usually has a problem, she likes to buy 75,000 of something for any type of party, and she's like, I ordered just enough pizza, and she was, like, really proud of that. Yeah, there was very little left. Yeah.

Yeah, that was nicely done. It was delicious. Did you guys fold it? It was good.

I had to. How do you not fold it? I had to fold mine in half front to back. I didn't even finish the slice.

I didn't either. I took a half of one. Oh, I got one. Further down in the pile, the pizza slices were thinner.

I was too busy kind of talking and walking around and, you know. Yeah, you were mingling. Talking with my people. Mingling.

The real people. How do you eat those moon pie things? What? There were moon pies?

Yep. You know, like the all white ones? Yeah, they're called birthday cake moon pies and they're fucking amazing. Oh, I didn't even see that.

Yeah, those are like his favorite thing. He talks about them all the time. He went on a quest to purchase all of them in Central Florida. Oh, yes.

So we still have a massive amount of those at the house. Oh, bring me one, because I didn't see those. I'm sorry. He's not going to bring you one.

Those are his favorites. I will... Look, you have to be reasonable at your request. I will arrange my own.

You know, here's what you have to do, is you have to reach out to Brittany, she'll sneak it into my lunchbox, I'll bring it without knowing, I'll be the mule, you'll open my bag... We have said so many things back and forth that way all the time. I know, I'm well aware. I'm like, what the fuck?

Or maybe Greg will put it on eBay. Yeah. Then he could buy one off eBay. I don't want to, no, somebody's already paid for it.

Yeah, it'll be smuggled back. Right. Yeah, it'll come. That's the way.

I'm not even gonna say anything, I just want you guys to handle it. Alright, so, couple of the night. Anybody one? Wait, no, let's leave this for the next one.

Couple of the night? Yes. Oh. Ones that stood out.

Alright, let's do it on Patreon. Alright. Let's do it on Patreon. Listener of the week?

You liked her sneakers. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know who he's talking about. Oh, okay.

Yeah. All right, we'll get into the next show. We'll get into the next show. I know they're not listening.

I know that. Well, they might be. No, they're not. I don't even know if they didn't know anything about cigars, so they were here strictly for...

Oh. For me. All right. Listen of the week, Lazy Moon Pizza.

Shop and listen. Oh, yes. Excellent pizza. All right, we're moving on.

This episode brought to you by Lazy Moon Pizza. Yeah. All right, let's go. All right, bye.
