Cigar Hustlers Podcast Episode 250 No Fear Elevate

Cigar Hustlers Podcast Episode 250 No Fear Elevate

Episode Summary

Episode 250 of A Cigar Hustler's Podcast is a milestone hangout episode with Mike, Mike and Phil covering local Central Florida life before turning to industry news. The guys recap a return trip to Chet's haunted house attraction (and the possible business opportunity that came out of it), youth flag football coaching wins and the "football fuckery" that lives mostly on the Patreon feed, plus a long, very funny rant about the new Elevate entertainment complex at the Sanford Mall — bad drinks, bar staff who didn't know what a rum and coke or a Bay Breeze was, employees who wouldn't run food to a birthday party, and a rope-course crew who wanted to charge dad $12 to walk a terrified five-year-old across the ropes. The verdict: it's a culture problem from the top down, and the place won't last.

On the cigar side, the hosts dig into the Alabama–Tennessee "cigar game" tradition and how rough college kids look on national TV smoking Cohibas and tubed Romeo y Julietas, joke about becoming the official cigar supplier of the rivalry, and spot cigars on screen in AMC's new Interview with the Vampire. There's also a good segment on cigar shop etiquette and breaking the ice at a new lounge — in this case Cigars on the Avenue in Winter Park, where Mikey dropped off two boxes of Powstanie (Habano Toro and Broadleaf Toro) with an invoice so he could actually buy his own favorite smoke when he hangs out, rather than showing up with his own sticks.

The news report covers Crowned Heads moving La Pâtisserie production from Tabacalera Pichardo to NACSA (and the ongoing "charcuterie wars" with Luciano), the $80 Toscano Moro 2019 double-tapered Italian cigar limited to 100 units across 24 U.S. stores, the Diesel Sideshow sampler from Forged Cigar Company (Frog Boy, Pinhead, Two-Headed Nightingale, Bearded Lady, Elephant Man, Bohemian Twins, Strongman), Arturo Fuente's 2022 Rare Pink Vintage 1960s release and its charity donation to breast cancer research, new Viaje Skull and Bones and Peppers releases, and HVC Black Friday 2022 — now made at HVC's own factory in Estelí with a better price point. A running theme: Mike's frustration with big-manufacturer logistics, press releases that don't match ship dates, and boxes that arrive with no invoice — contrasted with Viaje and Room 101, who email confirmation, pricing and paperwork every time. The episode closes with Cigars on the Avenue as shop of the week, listener of the week Derek, and Halloween costume plans.

Oh, okay. Alright. So, I went back to the haunt this weekend. I saw that, you know, Adrian had not seen it.

You never go out. You never go out. You went out twice to this place. Oh, the first time I worked, second time was… For enjoyment purpose.

" Yeah, you didn't get the experience, the whole thing. They were considerably less people. He needs scare actors, if you're interested. Scare characters, whatever they're called.

Oh, yeah. Yeah, they were double, triple, running around through the woods. Triple details. Oh, yeah, it was, yeah.

Yeah, he's, he's, you know, but… Does he pay, or are they volunteers? No, the volunteers would have the problem. It's the first year they're volunteers. Volunteers.

Volunteers, right. I mean, the night I went, there was 10 kids inside the diner. Oh, really? Yeah.

I mean, the night there was one person at the end. It was Saturday night when we went. I think we had one person. Yeah.

Well, it's tough, man. Yeah, Adrian had, you know, had heard about it when we're all talking about it, so she wanted to go see it. She should try and get some of the fucking, like, school kids. Oh, I didn't think about the kids.

And do like, hey, give them credits. Oh, they can get community service hours. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I didn't think about that.

about that. There you go. You're welcome. That would have been good to start with.

And cut. He's only got two more weeks left. So what? Well, I think I've got my son Connor and his crew going out there this weekend, this coming weekend.

Oh, we can have American Property Solutions. We can have Kenny. He doesn't have to dress up. It's fucking scary.

Yeah. Can you say American Property Solutions people? Yeah. This is Phil.

I have no clue who you guys are talking about. Oh, yeah. Sorry, Phil. Sorry about that, Phil.

But did we did we talk about the guy who gave him the card on the show? I don't think so. Do you know what that is? No.

Okay, there's this man, I don't remember his name, the head muckety-muck, he has an appointment with him tomorrow, out there, the man wanted to meet again out there. I would like to meet at your haunted house in the review. I don't think he sounds like Dracula. Come on!

It was a mention of future, discuss future business opportunity. We'll discuss a future business opportunity. Yes. That's good, man.

I hope that that works out for Chet. Yeah. Yeah, I do too. I do too.

You know, some scare zones and shit. That would be fun. Did Aidy King Palmer have a good time? She enjoyed it, yeah, yes.

Oh, there was two young ladies in our group that were hilarious, because one of them kept getting scared and cursing at her friend for bringing her. Oh, that's nice. And her friend's name was Rosie, so we started yelling at Rosie, too. Damn it, Rosie.

Damn it, Rosie, why did you bring us, too? I can't believe you. It was scary. Nice.

For that young lady, I mean, and it was an older, I mean, she was, you know, in her late 20s, early 30s. So, I mean, she was screaming and yelling and, uh, uh, the only person that really got Adrian and I was scared was Chet's daughter Ava. Scary. Uh, she's, she's a little creepy when she, yeah, she came out in that little mask and...

Did she jump out at all? 'Cause for us she didn't jump out, really. She didn't jump, but... She was just there?

Yeah, just kind of creepy. Scared you? Yeah. Oh.

Well, I, there was two little girls. I thought she was the other one. Ah, she was, I thought she was both. No, apparently there's two little girls.

Oh. In the same mask? No, no, no, no, the other girls had makeup. Oh.

But I went, oh, hi, Ava, it's Uncle Mike, and then Adrian goes, I don't think that's Ava. Nice. And then a minute later, Ava jumps out on the other side, I'm like, oh, there she is! Oh, hi, Ava.

Right. Is there a problem, Phil? Just keep going, he says, just keep going. This makes me nervous.

Oh, he's changing the camera. Oh, God, oh, God. So, we need an update on the football thing, but you can't talk now because the camera's on me, so. No, we got a couple things going here.

We need to change to three, Phil. Phil. Camera three, Phil. Alright, there you go.

Perfect. So, is it hot in here? I'm feeling sweaty all of a sudden. No.

It's quite comfortable. I'm having another stroke. Probably. You with the long sleeves.

Yeah, I like the long sleeves. It's not cold for two more times. It's kind of a thing for me. I don't know.

I've kind of grown into this whole long sleeve thing. Oh, it makes your arms look bigger. It does make my arms look bigger. So, you know.

Alright, Phil, give us a thumbs up. So, we did the football. Right. And that went very well.

No, the ongoing drama associated with the two teams. The fuckery. Oh, the fuckery. The football fuckery.

That's more Patreon. Well, details, yes. Yeah, there isn't really... Were we keeping score, Phil, on the regular show or the Patreon?

I thought we did last week. I'm pretty sure that's the Patreon. Might have been, because I was told the Patreon was quite funny. When I went into detail about all this stuff and you guys started tallying shit...

Oh, yeah, the tallying, I was told, was hilarious. Then let's not talk about it. Okay, but I can tell you that a couple of things that did happen. things that did happen.

For one, we won our game, the 1-2 league in the first and second grade, which is nice. I don't know. Do we have a ball? We beat the team.

Thank you. Thank you. I feel like it should be on me right now. Phil.

Thank you. Phil's bad with the camera. So we beat the... It was the team that we actually lost to in the championship game.

Oh! So, thank you. Thank you. And it's very...

" And they'll be like, "Woo! We did! Woo! " Some of the kids are dialing in.

Some of the kids are dialing in, and they're running a little bit better, but when it comes to flag pulling, when it comes to flag pulling, man, they're a hot mess. They're a hot mess. Did you see the Tennessee-Alabama game? No, but I saw the aftermath.

Oh, the fines and the-- Where they took the gold post down, and then somehow got it out of the stadium and started carrying it through the city, and... So you know that this is like the cigar game, right? I don't know what that means. So, whenever Alabama plays Tennessee, whoever wins, they all smoke cigars.

Oh. And I gotta tell you, man, I don't know what the fuck is going on in Tennessee, but we gotta help these people, or something. Oh, they're not smoking good cigars. First of all, no, there has to be a tutorial for these fucking kids.

Because they look so stupid on national television trying to smoke a cigar. This is the players. No, this is just the students and all this other shit. We should be the official supplier of the cigar football game.

In Tennessee? Sure, why not? Yeah, get your cigars. Yeah, we just got all you have to do is just show up.

Well, that probably means you got to give them to them for free. You couldn't show up to Alabama though, because that's Reagan, that's Tuscaloosa. Yeah. And R&R Cigars is like right there.

Did they buy from us? They have in the past. Have they recently? What have you done for me lately, Reagan?

Yes, exactly. Yeah, but. My neck is hurting from the leaning. So, yeah.

This is not working. You'll be fine. You'll be fine. Just lower your seat.

I tried to. I just raised the seat. You raised a little bit. So I went slumping.

Oh, oh, yes. Oh, yes. That looks like you're doing a show at a minute. Yeah, yeah.

Oh, you can't say that word. Little person. Oh, my God. I've been watching that Brad, Brad, whatever, the comedian.

Brad. He's a little person. His name's Brad something. He's a comedian.

Yeah, he's hilarious. Is he? Yeah, he's funny. Brad the little guy?

Brad the little guy. This is fun. I don't like this. I don't like this.

Bring it back up. Oh, there it is. That's perfect. Right there.

All right, we'll see how this goes. I'll lean. I'll lean a little or something. So, how you been?

So, the fucking... Dude. Yes. I mean, you're watching these kids, and I'm...

I don't know what it was, but I'm fucking starting to cringe. And I'm like... What were they smoking? First of all, I'm like, Cohiba.

And then, like, you could, you know, you could identify some of these cigars. Right. No, no, it's just, you know, you go and you get a cigar, and then for the cigar game, if they win, they smoke. Everybody lights up.

Mike's missing out an opportunity to be the official cigar of the game. Maybe now that we own, uh, um, Nikosuena, we can maybe make a special cigar. Maybe, yeah, now that we, that's also on the Patreon. We talk about it on the regular show, too, because, oh yeah, people are commenting.

Oh, okay. Okay. " Here's a cigar, and it's in a glass tube, and I go, a fucking Romeo and Juliet, like, I was fucking livid, I, I just can't, can we just sit the entire nation down and just get them on the same page? Romeo and Juliet probably liked the fact they were some, well, you, if you weren't in the industry, you couldn't identify it, but I could see it from a mile away, thinking, you fucking idiots, right, like, we were, damn it, we were watching Interview with a Vampire, the new one on AMC, the remake, which actually isn't that bad, but at one point, Mike, the head vampire guy smoking a cigar.

Lestat? Yeah, Lestat, yeah, yeah. The blonde? The Tom Cruise, the Tom Cruise character.

Yeah, Lestat. Yeah. " Oh, what is that? Can you tell what that is?

What is that? It was an Ashton and LaGloria, whatever, the one with the lady. Oh, yeah? Yeah.

Which I doubt they made back in the... LaGloria Cubana, Sierra? 1700s or whatever it was. LaGloria Cubana?

I think so. I think that was it. It did not make that back in the 70s. I don't believe so, no.

Right. Yeah. No. Yeah.

I don't think he ever lit it either, so that's okay. They redid that fucking movie? They're doing it as a TV show on AMC. You gotta be fucking kidding me.

It's not bad, really. Do you ever read the books? Nobody's seen the movie. The books are pretty good.

The TV show is just like the movie. Is it? I mean, they might have used the same script. Except, except that, not Tom Cruise, who's the other guy?

Brad Pitt? Brad Pitt is a gay black man. black man that's quite the twist just not gonna lie that's quite a little different really got a different direction there on that right okay all right so there's that right okay they have sex in the coffin at one point coffin sex oh just like greg right yeah uh that takes off his clothes lays in the coffin looks at the goes you could be on top and then they shut the top nice not a lot There's a lot of movement there. I guess not.

No. Yeah. You know, not serious. Hard to move around in there.

Yeah. It doesn't have like a big dome top on it or anything. So. She call every day.

We're doing this show. Yeah, this is a thing. Put her by the speaker. This is a thing.

I don't know if I'm attached. No, no. Just hold your phone up to the speaker. Hold on, Brady.

I'm podcasting. Jesus Christ. They can hear you. They can hear you.

They can hear you. Sorry. I mean, hi. - What did Michael do wrong this week?

- No, uh... - How was his mood this morning? - Like, his mood this morning, uh, I think it was good, although I got up and took the kids to school, went to the gym and he went back to bed. - Oh, so that's why he's fine, he got plenty of sleep.

- Obviously it was bad, he has no gel hair. - I'll call you guys anymore on Mondays, we'll call you on Mondays. - I'll call you some of them. - Just not at two o'clock.

- Alright. - I love you. - Love you guys. - Alright, love you too.

All right. So what are we talking about? I don't know. Gay vampires.

Gay vampires. She's calling me again. In a football game. Oh, she wants to tell me she loves me.

She heard me say it at the end. She probably does. Yes, Brittany. Hello?

Love you too, Palmer. Thank you. That's it. You called it.

Oh, he was right. Bye. So my kids, they had like this. So, Levi, Jack's best friend, had a birthday party at Elevate.

Okay. Is that the trampoline place? No, no. It's this new, like, theme park-esque.

It's almost like a Dave & Buster's or something. So, they have arcades. They have go-karts. Oh, in Sanford Mall.

They have, yeah. They have laser tag. They have all of these things. Yeah.

It's like almost the only thing still open in Sanford Mall. Yeah. So, I'm going to tell you right now, they ain't going to fucking last. Really?

Because the crowds are still big. There was no crowd there on Sunday. Oh, it's Sunday. They're a Friday, Saturday night place.

The fucking, the employees that work there? Oh, they suck. They are fucking terrible. Oh, yeah.

They are fucking terrible. We went there right after they opened-ish, long enough where they should have known, and like, Adrian ordered a rum and coke or something, and the lady goes, that have alcohol in it? It was a girl. A rum and coke?

Yeah. Yeah, the rum. Yeah, the rum. Excuse me.

can someone bring me someone who knows what rum is god damn it food was wrong uh i think adrian wouldn't got it i mean it was terrible this is so this is my dude i almost fucking killed somebody oh okay so i'll tell you the three things that really kind of stuck out first of all i played laser tag and i fucking crushed all those kids god damn it it's kids i don't know there was amazing amazing the laser tag's fantastic everything in there is awesome but because The help. Yeah. Well, and that, and it's not just, so, but it's, that's employee, that's, you know, that's CEO culture shit, you know what I mean? That's not just them, that's the big, you gotta go up the ladder.

Yeah, yeah. Somebody is fucking up all the way up top. Right. Right?

Like, you go to Topgolf, and they're fucking amazing. Yeah, it's the same age group kids work there. Yeah, hey, how you doing? You need anything?

Blah, blah, blah. Here's a joke. Whatever. I'm like, you know what I mean?

Like, they just keep fucking going, right? This place, these motherfuckers, no way. I'm going to tell you right now, not a fucking chance. So, like, I go to, there's a birthday party, but, like, it's just pizza and shit.

So, I'm like, all right, well, let me go get some fucking apps or whatever. Right, grown-up food. Yeah, so there's, like, a dining area. There's six fucking slapdick employees just sitting around doing nothing.

Talking to each other. Yes. Yeah, yeah. And I'm like, fuck, you know, I'll just go order that from there.

Because they're not, you know, I'm sure they would love to fucking get an order, you know. No, that's work. Make a fucking tip. Something.

Something. Right? So I stand there, wait about 10 minutes until somebody fucking walks, waddles over to me, and they fucking, yeah, hey, hey, can I, I'm like, hey, let me, I just need some apps, can I get this, this, this, this, you know, okay, yeah, sure, no problem, like, here's my card, like, oh, do you want to let's hold my, here's my card. I'd like to pay.

Yeah. Do we not pay? You know, and then I go, hey, listen. Nope, give the card back.

So, you know, so he goes and does it, he brings it back, and I tip him, I tip him like I was sitting there. Right. And I say, Hey, so I'm at the birthday party back in that corner. Can you just bring it over to me?

No. What? I'm sorry. Beg your pardon?

I'm sorry, what? No, no, I can't bring it to you. I can't bring it to you. Awesome.

Fucking great. So that's how it started for me, right? Oh, okay. No problem.

I'll come. I'll come back in 15 fucking minutes. You should just cancel the food. I wasn't.

Oh, then I don't want any. I wasn't fucking, I wasn't there yet. Oh. You know, I was having a good time with the kids.

Right. I wasn't interacting with people, with employees. I hadn't had that pushback yet. Okay.

So I was letting it go. I was letting the fuck go. So I go back there. My wife says, hey, you know, the dads are going to the bar.

I'm like, all right, I'm going to go with them. She goes, hey, can you bring her back, you know, two high noons? Okay, no problem. Go to the bar.

Hey, can I get two high noons? No. Well, which ones? I go, well, and there's three people at this bar sitting there.

Right. That's it. Well, I don't know. My wife has been coming up to you and she orders two high noons at a time.

She goes, I don't know who your wife is. So I go, okay, let's regroup here. How many people come up to you within the past two hours and ordered two high noons consecutively? Just one person.

Okay. That's her. What the fuck were they? Oh, there's a pineapple.

That must be your wife. Yeah, no fuck. I mean, like, holy shit. how the fuck how did we get i mean my fucking god bring him to us over there at the birthday party no no no you got a good number no no no just so i get the get the the guy get the drinks i go back for the apps i go back to the fucking so at this point you're working there yeah at this point i punched in i clocked in i gave my uh my social security number i'm you know i'm waiting for my w-2 so i'm like okay what the fuck ever you know what obviously we're there's a bunch of fucking And again, I'm not even blaming the kids, the kids that are, the employees.

Oh, it's training at this point. They've been open long enough. This is a culture fucking problem with the entire fucking business organization. The young lady's telling a story with, this guy thinks I know who his wife is.

He just walks up and orders a drink, says whatever his wife ordered. Yeah, what a dick. What a dick. Yeah, this douchebag.

And the other guy's going, oh, same guy wanted me to bring him food. Yeah. Oh, I saw that guy. He's making me bring him food to a birthday party.

He's the only guy with the other 20 people in here. Here, that's it. There was nobody there. So I'm like, okay.

So then we do the laser tag. I spent time with Justice because he can't do the go-karts. And you know, the laser tag employees were cool. Yeah, they were good.

The prize person at the end was cool. Because I'll tell you right now, our ticket account was fucked up. She made some adjustments and made sure that everybody's happy. I'm like, hey, I saw what you did and I just want to know I really appreciate that.

Did you tip her? No. She's like, no problem. So, but before that, they had like this rope climb shit.

Yeah, the rope thing over on the side. So, they all go on the rope climb. Right. And I went to the bathroom.

I come back. And, you know, my wife is over there and whatever. Brady's over there. And I seem...

I don't know who your wife is. Oh, yeah. And... No shit.

The one with the two high noons. Oh! So, Justice... I'm supposed to keep track, sir.

Fucking Justice is coming down the stairs in fucking tears. Like hysterical. It's hysterical. Somebody getting their ass kicked.

So, like, I'm like, what's wrong, buddy? He's like, I don't want to do it. I'm scared. I'm scared.

I'm like, it's going to be okay. You're attached to the thing. He's like, no. He's bawling in tears.

So, I look at the employees and say, can I go up there with them? No. And I said, sure. You can go up there with them.

I said, okay. You got a credit? Oh, you got a pay. I'm like, I got a what?

I got a what? I'm sorry. I got a pay? What?

I got to do a credit. What do you mean? Well, you got to pay to get on the right. Do you fucking think I want to go on the five-year-old's fucking stare?

Read the fucking room. Would it hold somebody your size? Yeah, it holds up to 300 pounds. But now I'm fucking livid.

I'm like, let's break this down. 16-year-old fucks dicks. The fucking rope climbing people, they're complete assholes. They are.

So, I'm like, there's a fucking kid that's in tears, crying, like, and I'm a concerned parent, you want to isolate this so the kid has a good time, so he wants to fucking come back, right? Oh, that kid don't care if he can come back. Like, how much is the fucking ride? 12 bucks.

So, for 12 fucking dollars, you're telling me that you're not fixing this situation. Right. No, no, I'm not fixing it. You're out of your fucking mind.

So, like, they knew I was pissed off. I walked all the way fucking down. He's in the kitchen going, "And he wants me to bring him food, too! Can you believe this shit?

" I'm like, "I don't give a fuck how tall you think you are, pal. 18, I will beat your fucking ass. " So I fucking go on the thing. You should not have drunk in the high noons, Michael.

Imagine if I did drink the high, if I drank the high noons I'd probably be in cuffs. Well, not now, you'd be, I'd be free by now. I'd be free by now. Some guy's girlfriend in prison.

No, no, no, no, let's see. Walking around with her. It was on Sunday, so. You'd be out by now.

I probably would have bailed Monday morning. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that would happen.

So, you know, but this is why I don't drink, people. Greg would have to stay outside the jail all night long. Yeah, exactly. That's his thing.

Committed. Committed. So, as I go on this thing with poor Justice, and like, you know, we take them one step at a time, and there's one thing, and he's fucking in tears, I can cry, I'm like, just hold my hand, I take him across, he's attached, just, I know, I take him all the way across, and then we go to the pulley thing, there's a pulley slide thing, right, now I'm doing the pulley, I'm fucking, I pay my $12, I'm fucking, I'm doing, I'm not even doing, I'm fucking spinning, I fucking, I launch off, and I tell, when I'm done, I tell Brennan, she's like, you should have ran, I go, if I'd have ran, I would have killed the kid on the other side catching you. He seemed kind of nice, like he was trying to help.

He should have just jumped off everything, tried to break the rope. But there's zero hospitality at this place. There's no way that that place fucking succeeds. It's just not going to fucking happen.

Maybe Sunday's the bad people. Maybe Friday and Saturday's the real friendly crowd. Maybe the shit shift. I haven't heard anything good about when it comes to the hospitality of that place.

Now, Phil has been a couple of times. Oh, yeah? Yeah, the rope guy's great. You have gone?

I have, yes. Okay. What's your two cents of it? Well, the food's kind of crummy.

Yeah, it's microwave bar food at best. And the drinks are weak. Yeah. Definitely weak.

And they don't know how to make them. I was asked like a Bay Breeze. Yeah. Which is sold at like every bar.

Right. They didn't know what that was. Really? I looked it up.

I didn't even know what it really was. Malibu pineapple and cranberry. Right. Yeah.

" So I looked it up. I had to look it up. So I Googled it. I Googled it for these fucks.

I Googled it for the idiot that has their phone out anyway. Right. You got your phone out yet? Well, you're Googling their Snapchat, you and the idiot.

He wants a stupid drink. I like the go-karts. Yeah, did you ride 'em? Yes.

I didn't get to ride 'em. Yeah, I rode 'em. So, how come Justin, well, is he too short? He's too short, yeah.

Well, they don't have the dual? No, I asked. Oh, wow. I was like, I'll drive 'em.

Do you have a credit, sir? For the go-kart? I'll fucking kill you right now, Mike. So, you know, I would do anything for my kid, right?

I wanted to make sure that he got to interact, you know? So when it came to laser tag, I was on his team, 'cause fuck that. And then when we went free-for-all, that son of a bitch kept shooting me in the back. That's what happens with your kids, man.

They'll get you when you're down. The little guy. I just want you to know, I won that. Friendly fire!

Friendly fire! " I'd turn around, boom! Fucking dead. Again from justice.

I'm like, you gotta be fucking kidding me, man. I was just on your side. Yeah, he knows. He's taking advantage of the situation.

Yeah, it's fucked up. Daddy. Don't ever take him hunting. I'm like, yeah, I'll be dead.

No, daddy didn't make it. Good job, Jax. You got the deer. Daddy.

Daddy. No, it's the little guy. That's what I mean. Did you do the virtual reality?

No, he wasn't tall enough for the omni yada yada. Yeah, because there's a zombie thing in there that is pretty dope. up. Yeah, he couldn't do it.

He wasn't tall enough. Yeah, give that kid some thicker soles or so. So, now that you have... He did the minion one.

That should be the next team building thing. Elevate? No, well, just the laser tag and the virtual reality part. Yeah, okay, five people?

It'd be really cheap. Yeah, there's only five of us now. And you can go at night. Can I come now?

I'm going to tell you right now, if I go... We have to pay, though, Boots. We're going to write... I'm going to wear Elevate Suck shirts the entire time.

The rope guy was nice. No, well, the one guy up top. You said that. The one guy up top.

There was one guy that was good there. And the laser tag guy. You could tell that they gave him the role of, alright, you deal with the kids the most, so you're going to be up there in the pulleys. Yeah, we're going to shit on everybody, but you got to be nice.

But the three assholes down fucking latching people in, those are a bunch of little fucking ass bags. Seminole County fucking pricks. Do you know they all go to Seminole High School? Oh, yeah.

Oh, sure. You know. I'm going to tell you right now. There's two high schools there in Sanford.

There's Seminole, and there's another one, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's the other one? Lake?

I don't know. Lake Mary? Lake Mary. No, there's two.

There's one that's, like, back behind the projects. They could have been Lake Mary Prep pricks. As you're going down 46 on the right. Lake Mary Prep.

And then, no, no, that's Seminole High School, I think, back there. I'll tell you right now. Not in Lake Mary. I'm going to tell you right now.

My kid fucking ever acted like that to somebody else. I would rain blows down on him until he fucking figured it out that that was not okay. I've never seen those kids. I hope my son's got a job.

He works at Elevay. He's great. No, you could. He's great.

I'm going to tell you, he's a head rope guy, that attitude echoes into every aspect of their life. You could tell that they're just, all kids are fucking anymore. No, that's not true. I refuse to believe that.

I, you know what? No, no. I was bowling. I didn't bowl.

He had to set up his own pins. Yeah, I had to set up my own pins. Hey, these are down. Well, get down the lane and straighten them the fuck out.

It's like two of them are still standing, sir, but ball on. Yeah. Fucking crazy. Fucking crazy, man.

I think that was everything I wanted to cover. I'll verify here on my notes. I wrote them down today. I have no idea what kind of time we're looking at because I don't have anything.

What kind of time we had, Phil? Look in the... I think we're doing good. 26.

Oh, we're only a half hour. So, quick question. I've got something for you. Tell me, tell me.

One thing you didn't cover is this is the first time I got to hang out with Mikey at another Cigar Shop. That wasn't. Oh, you went Saturday. What was that?

Saturday? Yeah. Saturday you went? Yeah, this wasn't like a planned thing.

Yeah. Right. Just out of the blue. Right.

It was just kind of nice. Yeah? I'd never been there before, which I told Mikey. You'd never been there before?

I'd never been there before. He didn't make your birthday. Oh. Yeah, I think I gotta go.

We were there one other time too, weren't we? Yeah, it's kind of like my place. Yeah, it's your place. It's your place.

I did like two houses right behind the train tracks, right by it. Oh, okay. Cigars on the Avenue in Winter Park. Yes.

Yeah. It was nice. What were you there for the other time? Once was your birthday.

I don't know. I think the other, I remember you going another time. I like to just get out. Yeah.

I'm not going to lie. If I can, listen, it's, I know that it's not that close for you guys. Right. But it's close to my house.

You know, if anything, any shit goes around with my kids, I can be there quickly. And I really like the atmosphere. It is a nice place. You know.

So. As long as you don't want to move the furniture around. Yeah, if you move the furniture, they're fine. - They're coming down on you.

- All right, don't, you can't move that term, sorry. - They're coming down on you. - Yeah, Mark Gordon did not like this place. - No, no, yeah, that's true.

- I didn't think it was bad. - Uh, he was here for your birthday, he seemed to like it. - Because, because there's, yeah, well, there's a difference, you know what I mean? Like, once you have to, you gotta kind of break that ice.

It's the same scenario, the approach, like, for them, I think sometimes they're a little more guarded and like, no, you can't do that, her, her. But once they get to know you, they're like, what's up, man? How are you? Like, they kind of open up a little bit.

He did change his tone with me a little bit when I was in the humidor, when I said, yeah, I'm supposed to be me and Mikey from Cigar Hustle, where he goes, oh, Mikey, yeah, I love Mikey. Oh, yeah, sure, yeah. Well, here's the secret cigars over here. I mean, I've had that experience, too.

I remember I went to a, I was on a road trip. This is one of my favorite stories. I was on a road trip, taking the Manny, Brian, back to North Dakota. And we stopped off to meet my buddy in Tennessee.

He's like, we'll come meet at my spot. The spot's called The Standard. The fucking place is amazing. I'm not gonna give his name out, but...

So we go in, or we go and we park and we're in fucking Brian's beat up Hyundai Santa Fe, just complete piece of shit. I mean, this thing, I don't even know why we were driving it. We were lucky to make it out of the state, let alone... You had to get it back there.

Yeah. What? Maybe you had to get it back up there. That was why we were doing it, but like, it's, this thing was dangerous, I mean, you know, the brakes on this fucking thing, this thing was a mess.

Well, between that car and your car that you used to have, it would be the better choice. My car would have been the better choice. The old, uh, Ranger? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, without hesitation.

It didn't have brakes either. Yeah, but it would still stop. And you had to, well, you had to turn it off at the red light. There were times.

Right. Still a better car. Oh, wow. So this beat up, that's how bad.

So we pull up to this place, the standard, the beat up Hyundai Santa Fe. And the person says, can you park around back? Are you here for dinner? Like that.

I said, no, I'm actually trying to, I'm meeting a friend of mine here. And he goes, what's your friend's name? And I say the friend's name. He goes, oh, and will so-and-so be joining us?

I go, yeah, so-and-so will be joining us. Great. Come on. It's like, it's fucking boop, like a switch, man.

Gotcha. Is he the owner, or just a regular? He's just a regular. Oh.

I don't know how much of a regular he is now, though. I don't know if he's still over in that area or not. Oh, I thought maybe he was sick or something, the way he said it. No, no, no.

I don't know what the owner is now, because he died. Mm-mm. Oh. So, yeah, man, you know, like, you gotta break that ice.

And it's Winter Park, so, like, you know that they gotta deal with some pricks. Yeah, all bougie. Yeah, do you know who I am? Like, do you know I don't give a fuck?

Right. I don't really care. Yeah, it just doesn't matter to me. It doesn't matter.

Well, I guess, too, like me, like, because I hang out here all the time. Yeah. The cigar selection wasn't really, like, my style. No, they're more mainstream.

No, yeah. Right. Yeah. Not a lot of boutiques there.

I brought in post dinos in there. " Yeah, you gotta get that in there. No, I did. I gave them two boxes.

This is what I did. Because, look, I will never bring a cigar into a store. Right. Right.

Unless I'm on, like, a trip or something and I'm trying to promote my product. But if this is a place that I'm going to go hang out, I'm not going to walk in and say, well, I have my own cigar. Right? Because I know what that's a glass of water, please.

That's shitty. So here's what I did. I go, look, here is an invoice. Here's what I charge for them on regularly, just so you can see, because I don't know what your pricing is.

Here's a box of Habano Toro. Here's a box of broadleaf Toro, because I smoke both on the regular. Do me a favor, just put them on the shelf so I can fucking buy them when I come in. And that's that.

I don't care if you like, I want to hang out here. I want to go. to smoke the cigar that i like the most and it's going to be Powstanie right so here you go so we'll we'll see next it's either a going to be on the shelf when we get there or b you did it this week yeah like i don't you know because i can smoke a padron or two right that's kind of it you know they have cordova morales there too they do they do sometimes sometimes i grab two padrons There you go. That's the way you gravitate toward it.

It's like, oh, well, I'm out. Let me get something special. We're hanging out. Yeah, yeah, we did do that.

I forgot about that. That's right. Well, okay. What are your news?

We have news. Again, no Florida stories. Nothing fun in Florida anymore. Still all hurricanes and dead people.

How about my man Ronnie fucking putting up the, uh, Uncle Ron, as JJ likes to call him. Put up the bridge, got Publix in there, just fucking... That happened last week. What happened last week?

That guy's fucking busting ass. Yeah, I saw the video of people cheering as the Publix truck goes across the bridge they made in three days. How about that? Three days.

Three days. Come on, that's pretty fucking impressive. Yeah. My son, Jake, who's down there, he said they just came in and just started dumping dump trucks full of stuff as they would go.

Let's go, baby, let's go. And let's just put the lane right on the top of that. Let's talk about that for a second. Three days.

Yeah. Three days. You know the guy that builds a bridge normally is like pissed now. Oh, yeah, the contractor and stuff.

" It's like, hey, three days, all that labor you charge us, I don't think so. Hey, well, it's not a permanent bridge, I don't know how long it'll last. It's a temporary bridge. Yeah, it's a temporary bridge.

They didn't, like, build a big suspension bridge or anything. I mean, it's this far off the water. It was enough to get semis in and out of that bitch. Right.

Hey, you guys need food? Public guy laying on the horn, driving through. Hey, you need food? We got you.

I mean, come on, that's pretty badass. Two for one chicken. Everybody, let's go. That's a fucking great Florida story right there.

I don't give a shit who you vote for, Democrat or Republican. Did he build the bridge? If I was Publix, I would've built the bridge. He put it together.

You know that he put that shit together. I would've airlift. If I was Publix, I'd have got a helicopter or something. Why, to fuck for your loaves of bread that you're about to give out?

Right. Mm-mm. Airlift that shit in. Nah, man.

Matt Booth. Yeah, man, use Matt Booth's helicopter. That's all the way in Washington. Eh, he'll rent it.

He can't use it all the time. Was that a two-hour ride? Yeah, two-hour. It's got to be one of them big jet ones, you know what it is.

Jet Helicopter. All right, let's go. Like Airwolf, he got Airwolf. Tell me what you got, man.

Hit me. From the four corners of the world, all the cigar industry news you could possibly need. The Cigar Hustler Podcast Report, with Mike Toon. Crown Heads is moving La Patisserie production, you couldn't say production, production to Naxa.

As expected, a newly expanded La Patisserie line from Crown Heads will now be made at a different factory. Because the other one burned. Specifically... What?

The other one burned? Weren't they making... Oh no, this wasn't the... No, this was the Luciano debauchery.

Yeah, this is the charcuterie wars. Oh, you know, for some reason, I'm getting emails from Luciano's group with, not press releases, but like just general emails they're sending out about different things. They're informing, you know? Yes.

Not me specifically, I imagine I'm on some list or something somewhere. That's nice. Well, they probably heard you talking about it. Oh, we have something about him.

Well, you kind of already are tapping on that. Crown Heads is moving production of the La Patissiae from Tabula Killer Pichardo, which we all agreed was. So, which we all agreed was the original name, to Noxa, John Hoover, co-founder of Crown Heads, told Cigar Hustler Podcast that the blend sizes and prices will remain the same, La Patissier uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a binder from Jalapa, Nicaragua, and fillers from Costa Rica, and Ometempe, and Pueblo Nuevo regions of Nicaragua. The line debuted last year in a limited edition Lonsdale size.

The Summer Crownheads made La Pétisserie a regular production line with four sizes through. The Lonsdales is not one of them. Ah. Why not just distinguish the brand and then make something, make another Broadleaf?

Like, Broadleaf? Just change the name, just make a whole different cigar? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because they're not doing the Lonsdale anyway.

It's not going to be the same. Well, he said the blends and everything are the same. I don't give a fuck if the blends are the same. Right, I know you're moving it, you can't move the recipe.

Right, if the tobacco is from a, you know, coming from a different factory, the fermentation process is going to be different. Right, something's going to be different. Yeah, there's no way that you're going to replicate the product from one factor to the other. That's why they're not making the same size.

So why don't they just call it something else? Call it the Noxala. Like the F-U-L or some shit like that. You know?

" The Charcuterie Wars. Oh, the Charcuterie Wars. Yeah. Toscano's.

Lonesome Dog. We're making an $80 cigar. Toscano's? Toscano's.

Who's Toscano? Toscano makes those cheroots. Cheroots? The Italian?

The Italian, yes. S. Have you done yet, no? The Toscano Moro...

We're going to make it a cigar that can't refuse. is a 9x46 Italian cigar, meaning it's tapered on both ends. It can be smoked either as one piece or cut in the middle and smoked as two. Oh, I remember this now.

You can cut it. You know, if you want it. You're going to make two cigars. I don't want it.

You know, if you're going to smoke with somebody, you can cut it right in half, okay? It uses, when Toscano says, is the highest quality leaves of American origin to all Americans today. So you've got to cut it in half to smoke it? No, no, you can.

You can make two cigars. That doesn't make sense. Why? Because when you roll a cigar, the stem part that goes to the fucking...

Right, right. The thing everybody pulls out and goes, there's a stick in my cigar. No, no, no. Like the actual plant, right?

Right. You have the plant that comes up. Right. Then you have the leaf.

The thicker part of the leaf, the pluck, that is on this part of the cigar. Maybe they put it in the middle. That doesn't make any sense. You start with the smaller parts, and you burn your way in.

They use two leaves, and they put them together. So then if I lit it without it being cut, then I'm-- Completely different cigar. Cigar is notably larger than most. He's larger because he's got two full leaves in it.

Lord, it's me again. If you're listening, please, for the love of God, help me. Help! Each cigar is an MSRP of $80.

See, you got a lot of tobacco in there. And it will be just 100 of them. Only 100. Yeah.

They're making $8,000. Confidence in production right there. Well, it's in America. Moreau was introduced in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium.

It has since been an annual release for Toscano. The American market is receiving the Moreau 2019, which the company says is one of the best selections since the line debuted. That's the best. Only 24 stores will receive the Moreau.

So we ship to stores on November 1st, see, are we getting it, Washington, Texas, California, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Texas, Miami, Missouri, South Carolina, Florida, Neptune Cigars, nope, not us. So it's a solid $8,000 in sales across the entire nation. If they sell all of them. If every retailer sold them.

So 24 stores divided by 100, everybody gets two? Five? Five? Four?

Niner? Four. Four. Some people will get five.

Oh, two guys. Oh, yeah? Dos Hombres? Who's number one?

Cigar Hustler. The podcast. Thunderbird. I've never heard of them.

Thunderbird. Only one store in Florida. Napkins. Yep.

En Fuego. In Texas. Not the same. No, not the same.

Ambassadors. We've been there? All right, I get it. You're losing me.

Diesel Sideshow arrives in stores, are we getting those? Is that the TAA? No, no, we're getting that, but we can't say we're getting those. There's a new sampler of diesel cigars that contains some of the more unique shapes and sizes of cigars.

The diesel sideshows begin arriving at stores. Oh, I guess not, because we don't have it here. Inside are eight cigars that are designed to look visually interesting. Who the fuck is our rep?

I don't even know who our rep is for STG. Um, uh, David. No, no, no, he's at the food chain again. Somebody who works for David.

Maybe your brother knows. Hmm. Let's see, it's inclusive atola, like a cubalera, a lancero, that is twisted to form a spiral, a double perfecto, and a cigar, what appears to be veins attached to the rubber. What I love about STG is they send you the product, and they never send you the invoice.

" Oh, I don't know. Do they bill you, though? They just don't get... You gotta, no, well, you gotta circle, it's like a, it's a whole fucking monkey fuck situation.

You gotta call somebody, they gotta call somebody. To get, to get paid? No, no. Don't call anybody.

No, no, they charge your card. Oh, oh. I totally asked. You said no.

But if I need a breakdown of what I bought and how much it costs so I could- It's not important. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about that. We charge you.

It's fine. We're moving on. We're moving on. We have another one coming, and it comes with Tupperware.

It'll be fine. You'll love it. It'll be great. Let's see.

Inside the sampler is one of the following: a diesel frog boy, a diesel pinhead, a diesel two-headed nightingale, Nightingale, a Diesel Bearded Lady, a Diesel Elephant Man, a Diesel Bohemian Twins, and a Diesel Strongman, also available at No Fear Ranch, out there in the side chicken. That's everybody they had there! Technically, Ford Cigar describes this as a seven-cigar sampler, though the Kubelera release contains two different cigars, so it makes it like nine. Right.

Traditionally, a Kubelera contains three, but theirs is just two. Ford says the diesel slideshow will begin shipping on October 18th. Oh, it's tomorrow. Though some stores have indicated they have already received the sideshow.

We're not getting it. It is limited to 1,000 sales. But wait, hold on. Just read that one part back to me again.

Ford says the diesel slideshow will begin shipping on October 18th. Okay. Though. Oh, wait, wait, wait.

So we're recording on the 17th. Yes. Okay. And now go ahead.

Though some stores have indicated they have already received the sideshow. Can we talk about that fuckery? I mean, you got, we're going to start shipping on the 18th, but fucking retailers, some retailers already have them. Some already have them.

And you did a fucking press release. Call them on the phone. No, I'm not doing it. I'm just going to start calling people out on this fucking podcast because that's what I'm really good at.

I mean, it doesn't even fucking make sense. Can we talk, who is in charge? What the fuck? This is fucking stupid.

Who is in charge? You know what? I bet you, I bet you if you put 30 people in the room, you said, who the fuck is in charge? they would all point at each other that was him he did that that was Phil it was Phil's idea I'd be like okay let's break this down who said the press release right let's start there anybody anybody alright and where did you get your fucking information because you're wrong and like the shit has already fucking gone out to people like this is just so it's a logistical nightmare they did the same thing with the pinks they went with Matt Boothy pinks it's so it's so big so they must ship Whenever they get something, we have seven boxes, ship them now, ship them now.

Right, who's running the shipping department? Don't worry, they'll never know what they paid for them, because we don't tell anybody. I just fucking can't, I just fucking can't, this shit ain't hard. So when you get an email that says these are coming, or these are available, would you like to buy them?

There's not a price on the thing? Sometimes. But not always? Okay, but like, alright, so then, let's say they have four different things.

Like, oh, and hey, you need this, and this, and this. Okay, like, okay, let's say this, you could get the Sunday Gravy, you could get these Sideshow Bob things, and then something else. Okay. Here, I'll give you a perfect example.

Okay. I have a good relationship with Matt Booth. Yes. Right?

I have a good relationship with Michael Rosales and Skip Martin. Yes. " Right, well, those guys, I understand. So, the perfect example is, you know, Room 101 came in.

Right. Several things came in Room 101. Right? Well, what the fuck?

How much did I pay for any of this? Well, that I understand. You bought that off a phone call. Yeah.

Because you're familiar with the brand, the product, and you're going to support your friends, obviously, so you take it. Look, yeah. But this, you don't even know who your rep is. Wouldn't it just fucking make sense if you just put an invoice in the fucking box?

Well, yeah. Well, doesn't Roma put an invoice in the box? Not only do they put an invoice in the box, but they send you an email. Oh.

So they cover all bases. I mean, like, this is simple. Finally Run Machine. That's why we took over the factory.

This is fucking business 101. We're not even at 202. This is one fucking 01. Invoice, email.

So who didn't... Oh, you didn't get an invoice from Booth? Booth probably called whoever he had to call. Yeah, but to be fair, he's way up the food chain now.

But it doesn't matter. It still should get piped into the same system. Order goes out. Invoice, email.

That's it. Have a nice fucking day. Maybe the 30 people don't know somebody's supposed to do it and they didn't. Yeah, let's, I think we need to fire about 27 of them because they're fucking all overpaid and they're not doing their jobs.

You know what? Elevate is about to do a revamp. If you want to, if you, we cut them all out of STG and you guys come up here, you handle some food, maybe some rope people, some, you know, I think that'd be great jobs here in central Florida. That'd be great.

Well, you know, the rope guy safe, that one rope guy is safe. He's a nice guy. And the laser tag guys, don't touch that. And the laser tag people, yeah.

They get to play with guns, of course, they're happy. It's fucking crazy, it's crazy to me, I mean, shit, I run a half-ass fucking wholesale distribution company, and I'm still better than that shit. Well, you don't have 30 employees. Email, invoice, I don't get it.

You have one. I got the one guy. The one guy. And he's happy.

Well, I don't know if you talk to him lately, Michael, he's not happy. It's a lot to unpack. I don't want to talk to him. Arturo Fuente ships the 2022 batch of rare pinks, including two new sizes.

Two, yeah. The Super Hooker. They're calling them the Smelly Pinks. The Super Hooker.

The Smelly Pinks. Can't call them the Stinky Pinkers. That's already taken. Matt, send the cease and desist.

Cease and desist, Matt, to the Smelly Pinks. You can't have a pink box. Oh, I have copyrighted the pink box. I have the pink box.

Oh. Let's see. Arturo Fuente has begun shipping the 2022 batch of its rare pink vintage 1960s line, which is now a total of six sizes. Super Hooker.

Super, the company has, does that, what the name is? It's something like that, the Super Hooker, and the Itty Bitty Titty Committee, or some shit, I don't know what it is. Oh, wait, there are names like that. It's Queen of Hearts.

Okay, there's six of them, let's get down and see what it is. Okay, so there's the Rare Pink Vintage Short Story, the Rare Pink Vintage Signature, the Rare Pink Vintage Work of Art, the Rare Pink Vintage Happy Ending, Arturo Queen of Hearts, The Vintage and the Sophisticated Hooker. Sophisticated Hooker. That's it.

That's the one. Toro Fuente donates $13 for every box sold to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Which is awesome. It is awesome.

You think they would have gave them more respectable names? I don't run the company. Yeah, that's true. You know, I don't run the company.

I just lashed out at STG. You want to tee off on Fuente too? I mean, they don't have so much energy. Very big boxes for the amount of cigars in them.

, oh, Carlitos in parentheses, has also used the project to hearken back to his memories of his 1960s, including Woodstock, the Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, the Vietnam War, and the assassination of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King. Why didn't he call it the dead president? You know, it would have been cool if they did, if they like named it after people that did discoveries for curing it.

That's what it means. Something that's a sophisticated hooker. Yeah. Happy ending.

A little sexual. Well, it's probably like a play on words. Like, no, you know, when you're cured of cancer, it's a happy ending. Okay, when are you a sophisticated hooker?

When you get the new boobs, you're a sophisticated hooker. No, actually, I saw a picture of, uh, fishing, like, like deep sea fishers. Yes. You know?

Oh. Right. Well, they have to do with fishing. Right?

That's the whole ploy. Viaje announces a new Peppers release. Viaje. Return of Skull & Bones and a Mystery Cigar.

Next week, Viaje will be shipping, are we getting these? I got the email, I placed the order. Oh, excellent, there you go. You're welcome.

You're welcome. We'll be shipping a pair of new releases to retailers, the newest alliteration of the Skull & Bones Mystery. Perfect example, Viaje. They smell it, they smell it, they spell it with an M question mark, S-T-E-R.

Viaje emails me, I say yes. Prices are included in the email. Here are the prices, I will take. They send me, they email me fucking...

Email confirmation, you got it? Paid, here's your invoice. Send, email, box, invoice. What the fuck is the problem?

I don't know, Michael. Way more efficient. A fraction of the people. Spokesperson for the company declined to disclose any information about the two emails that Michael is talking about.

Saying that all stays a mystery until the shipment arrives at the retailer. So apparently they didn't send you anything. Hey, that's cool. The cigars are scheduled to ship at stores on October 17th.

Oh, that was yesterday. Mm-hmm. Yeah, they shipped. According to a comment made on Instagram by the company, the Skull & Bones first dates back to May 2010 when they debuted with the Daisy Cutter.

Oh, I want to make a box of cigars called Credit Card Front and just send an empty box. Oh, that'd be nice. Charge everybody. $200 clip wholesale.

Copyright. Copyright. Copyright. Copyright.

Copyright. That's Credit Card Front. And they're going to be in a pink box. With an X.

With an X on the thing. It says do not open. 32 per cigar. 32.

32. 32. Not $31. No, no, not $33.

99. 32. $32. As for the new Pepper Series release, the company included an icon of a ghost in the announcement.

31. 31. That's why it's 1032. Oh, that makes sense.

Next year, 1033. It doesn't matter of time before we get to 1050. There you go. It was released in October of 2017 as part of the company's White Label Project.

" But these peppers are our most recent WLP graduate receiving. Any more news on Umbagos? No more Umbagos. If they had a pepper series, it dates back to 2015.

We don't care about all these pepper dates. All right, all right, moving on. HVC, Black Friday. Yeah.

Did we get those? We usually get those every year. We did. We did.

You know, I think things have happened with that cigar, and now it's in his factory. Yes, he's making it. I was going to get to that. Yes, he's making it.

And I'm a little more excited about it. It's got a better price point. Like, we kind of fucking, he went a little north, probably because he wasn't, he didn't make it. Right.

So now it's got a better. Well, that Agronosa price name on the other one. Yeah, it's got a better fuckin' price on it, so... Yeah, they're real fond of their tobacco over there.

That's in Zaganarsen. 5x50 Robusto Extra that uses an Ecuador and Habano 92 wrapper over a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos from Esteli and Jalapa. Notably, the company said it focused on tobaccos from Jalapa and used no Lajero in the blend. 50, incomes and cabinets of $50.

This year's release limited to $600 boxes of $50 cigars. This is also the first HVC Black Friday release to come from the company's own factory from Renner Lorenzo in Esteli, Nicaragua. What time we at, Phil? We have nine minutes left?

Oh, perfect. We're rolling, baby. And finally this week, Michael, Luciano Morales from Luciano Cigars will be on How About That Cigar tonight. tonight oh oh that's but that was last night because there's tonight oh did they know they're we released this on tuesdays oh yes yes yes yes it'll be on tonight but we'll release our show tomorrow yeah we'll be on last night but from what i understand he called matt and said he owned the podcast now so now he gets to be oh it's luciano's how about that luciano's how about that cigar is there is there is is the instead of the dios de los muertos is there like uh name Isn't that charcuterie or some shit?

Yeah, name that charcuterie. Name your favorite charcuterie. Tell me the charcuterie. But the problem is, Crownheads is saying they own the podcast, so I don't know.

They own the podcast. " They all agree. " Now it's called Luciano's Charcuterie Evening. An evening of charcuterie.

Charcuterie with Luciano, that's what they're calling it now, oh my god, and then he made all the meat himself, if he does the perception thing like he did on Bear's show again, I swear to god, you know what he did, no, I don't know, so, I don't, so, he's having trouble listening to our show, I mean, let's, well, fuck it, but I'm gonna watch part of this, I need a good sound, I'm on a roll here, I'm gonna have a cease and desist from Elevate, STG, and fucking possibly Fuente, might as well go, might as well go balls deep, and fucking why not do one more, he did He did this thing where he held up like a phone battery, and he was like this, and he's like, what do you see here? And Bear's like, a battery. I was like, no, it's a pen. Right?

Because there was a pen. Oh, perception. And what he was saying, yeah, is like, you know, what you perceive and what I perceive. I'm like, but no, motherfucker, that's flat out deception.

You fucking know that there's a fucking pen back here, and you're telling me to take a look at this, but you know I can't fucking see the pen. Right? Doesn't even make sense. It's deception.

It's not perception. Deception. Deception. Excellent.

All right, we got a shop of the week, Michael? Yeah. It's a shop of the week. Cigars on the app.

Boom. Now carrying Bostania. Now carrying Bostania cigars. Bostania?

Oh, this camera. Now carrying Bostania cigars. Limited time, maybe, though. Possibly limited.

Possibly limited. Possibly limited. Only two boxes available. Do we have a listener of the week, Michael?

I'm going to go. Yeah, I think I do have a listener of the week. Oh. I don't know his last name, though.

Phil? Phil's very excited. I'm not excited, it hurt my hand to hit it on the table. Who's the listener of the week, Mike?

His name is Derek. You don't remember the last name? I never got his last name. Congratulations.

Can you explain to us who Derek is? He's a person that I met that we're friends with now, and his kid is on my kid's football team. Oh, and he listens to the... Oh, he's going to listen after we hung out last night, I could tell you when we were at the Cigars on the Ave.

Oh, he was there too? Yeah. Bland? What?

Did you invite him? Yeah, yeah. Oh. It was a romantic date, one of being the three of us.

Oh, nice. Yeah, it was lovely. You all had a good time. I invited you.

I know you did. I just said, I'm glad you had a lovely time. Don't you fucking hit me. I'm not poo-pooing that I couldn't go.

No, no, I couldn't go. Don't you fucking hit me with that bullshit. I couldn't go. I was not giving you a hard time.

Okay. All right. I appreciate the invitation, as you always say too. All right, thank you for inviting me, I won't be able to attend.

No, I will not be able to attend. Yeah. He invited me to something that same night, or was it Saturday? Yeah.

Well, wait, if you went there, what happened to your thing? No, I went back. Oh. I'm going to get the UFC fight in my house, by the way, this Saturday, just for the record, if you want to come.

What is this Saturday? The 22nd. Friday, we had the Halloween party. Yeah.

So you are not doing back-to-back people at your house? No. Are we all dressing up? Yes.

Okay, Adrian, I got costumes. I have mine. Oh, I have to dress up? Yes, it's a costume, but it's Halloween party!

I don't have a costume. Yeah. So the kids? You should come as your brother.

Untucked shirt, mess up your hair, wear a hat backwards. Wear a wig, then you can put on a ponytail. That's what you should do. Give myself a pillow for a gut.

There you go. Right, yeah. Wear a wife beater. A semi-fluffy pillow.

And then I should skip any food until I'm well inebriated? Yes. No, I got to drink first. You got to carry around an empty bottle of McAllen.

I have to drink first. I have rules about my drink. Oh, man, I got to get a costume now. Yes.

Pressure's on. Costume. Let's get on. Let's get a mask.

Come on. Put some effort into it. I already have mine. I do, too.

We got ours this weekend. What are you guys going to be? I'm not telling. I'm not telling.

You guys are fucking crazy. What's going on here? I'm not telling. I got to get mine altered today.

Oh my God, you got to get it altered? They don't think we're going to be. What, yeah, no, no, no, it's too big. Too big?

What are you, a sheet? No. So he's just a ghost, he's putting the sheet on. What are you going to be?

I'm not telling you, you'll see. Well, okay. Meow. Adrian might have accidentally bought a child size, so she has to do some alterations to hers too.

It said one size fits all, and I'm like, how do you get a little stug? Either that's good or bad for you, I'm not sure yet, so that might be a good thing. What, that it doesn't fit? Right.

Mine fits. But I'm saying, for later purposes. Is it like a not in a priest type thing or some shit? No, no.

No, I thought about that, but she goes, I've done that before. I'm like, oh, well, fine. Yeah, but you're fine with it. Well, fuck you then.

You're a priest though. No, no, mine's good though. Is it football teams? Is it Kansas City?

Yes. I'm Mahomes and she's Mahomes' wife. Oh, wow. Oh, so she's going to do terrible fucking tweets and TikToks?

Right. And, you know. Basically looks the same. Doesn't have a blonde wife?

Yeah. Yeah. So there you go. So are you going to be like Brad Pitt and color yourself brown?

Yes. Okay. I asked if I come a blackface already. You said no.

That's very racist. I'm not doing that. Cannot do that. I can't believe Brad Pitt played a, he really played a black guy?

I've never seen this movie. No, what? No, did he? No, what movie?

What did you say about the vampire thing? Oh, no, no, no, no, no, the new vampire. See, this is the problem, Phil. You can't just kind of listen.

Yeah, you gotta pay attention to this. I was paying attention, but he was saying so many things. Have you seen the original Interview with a Vampire? With Brad Pitt.

Brad Pitt. And Tom Cruise. It's an old movie, I haven't seen the original one. Okay, 1994-ish, I want to say.

Yeah, it's not that old. Older. But in the movie, he's got long flowing blonde hair. Yeah.

He's obviously very pale because he's a vampire. Yeah. Well, his character in the new show is a gay black man. Oh.

He's not gay in real life, but the character. And he's not Brad Pitt. And he's not Brad Pitt. This is like The Little Mermaid.

now less controversy yeah nobody gives a shit about an interview with a vampire right and if you're uppity about the fucking little mermaid you're just a fucking idiot i just saw all these memes i didn't even know what happened i just saw all these memes all of a sudden if you have like oh when it happened i didn't think anything about it like okay a little black girl playing mermaid i just great i don't understand but i thought i didn't her name hailey berry or something like that hailey berry something something berry hallie berry is it her daughter well that's what i thought i'm like well that that's why i looked at it like well that's not hailey berry Halle Berry got a daughter? Maybe this one's Haley Berry or something, I don't know. There's a chance. So you're saying that she's probably sub-20 years old, bro, I don't think that that's gonna, that probably won't fly.

The girl looks younger than that. Yeah. She's probably like a kid. Yeah, 'cause My Little Mermaid's what, 15, 16-ish in the movie.

Halle Berry gotta be like 50, almost 60. So what, they're like special. Yeah, but everybody loves her. Yeah, that was her speech.

No, no, no, we're trying to talk about age a child. So she could have a kid in mid-30s, late-30s, especially with, you know, lots of money. Is it Billy Bob's? You just take the egg, you shove it in somebody else.

Right, exactly. You don't want to turn it on your body, you know? Kardashian the baby, and it comes out looking like somebody else. Here's a baby, here's a baby.

It's LA. Right, California, it could be anything. California knows how to party. Alright, so that's it, anything else?

We didn't play Oh No once. Like, oh no. Oh no. That's it.

All right, it's been episode 250 of Cigar Hustler Podcast. And I'm putting my arm back up next week. All right, bye. Did you turn it all off over there?

m. for all new episodes. Hi, I'm doing, I'm Husto-E-Raw. Yeah, we just don't have to do a single podcast ever again.

Perfect. I'm good, Mike and Mike. How are you guys doing? The Ho-Jo D.

Ho-Jo! It's the Hojo! Demandre- You didn't even let him fuck it up all the way. I couldn't get past Hojo!

I don't even have to try it. He's not even gonna try it. We're gonna cover a lot of ground here, Mike. All right.

Try to keep up. That's a sign of a good podcast. It'd be like four cigars when I walked in a door. All right, end this.

We'll see you next time.
