Episode 61 Just getting it done....Technical issues and more problems

Episode 61 Just getting it done....Technical issues and more problems

Episode Summary

Episode 61 of A Cigar Hustler's Podcast is a "take two" — the original recording was scrapped after technical problems wrecked the audio of guest KD from Drew Estate — so Mike and Mike bang out a fast, loose 20-minute replacement covering everything that happened since. It opens with the infamous "onesie incident": custom cigar-branded baby onesies made for the RoMa Craft family (Cro-Magnon, Intemperance and the RoMa Craft logo) that got shipped to the wrong address, came back two weeks later, were re-sent, and then handed over as a gift minus the Powstanie onesie, which was left behind. The rant is equal parts funny and genuinely annoyed, with Danny and the RoMa Craft crew explicitly cleared of blame.

The cigar substance lands in the middle of the show. Mike shares a video Skip Martin sent him of Powstanie's Wojtek (the "Warbear") perfectos being sorted by hand: Skip picks up each cigar, calls it at 12 or 13 grams by feel, and the scale confirms he was off on exactly one out of roughly twenty. It's used as a real argument about factory-level craft and why hands-on blenders like Skip and Esteban Disla outclass owners who just fly in and check a box. There's also a recap of a weekend in Miami where a friend at Prime Cigars was smoking a Powstanie Chogui Lonsdale, plus a mention of Steve Saka's Sunday drop-in at the shop — he drove down from New Hampshire, hung out for a couple of hours, left a giant Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust sign and a Sakasquatch, and the guys smoked a big Muicle. Saka had also hit Come Smoke With Us on Bird Road and Corona Cigar Co. earlier that week.

On the regulatory side, the guys react to the FDA formally going after flavored and infused cigars, and to Scott Gottlieb stepping down as FDA commissioner. Mike pushes back hard on the idea floated to him that the industry should offer flavored cigars up as a "sacrificial lamb" — his argument is that conceding one category just invites the next round of restrictions, and that prohibition is the fastest way to make something desirable.

Rounding it out: a Carlito Fuente bobblehead is en route to Cigar Hustler (and CJ at Bellicoso now has his own), one Mike's cold plunge progression from 4 minutes to 15 minutes at 48 degrees, the other Mike's miserable sinus-infection weekend in Miami over St. Patrick's Day, a Daytona Bike Week booth ending with burning embers raining on the tent during the bike burn, Snapchat incompetence, and talk of moving the studio downstairs and adding video.

Transcript

Hi, everyone. My name is John. I work just outside the podcast room and they never feed me and my water bowl never has enough water in it. Welcome to episode 61 of a Cigar Hustlers podcast.

I need to record this quick before someone sees me. They talked to KD from Drew Estate. He's a great guy. I've met him once.

He gave me a cigar. And the latest FDA news. Look out, all of it's terrible. And Mikey has a cold plunge update.

I have no idea how long he can stay underwater. Anyway, enjoy the show. I need to run. Manny, talk to us, and boy, these things are going really fast.

However... However, we've had to substitute this live show, we're actually doing it live, right now, so when you listen to it, it's live. It's practically live. Practically live.

Slight delay. Slight delay, 'cause it's gonna go from here, right up. Sorry. We have 22 minutes and then the ending's already set up, so it's gonna go on.

So, but we do have some stuff to talk about. We're doing this voice, we gotta do the voice. Please don't do the voice. I'm doing the voice, the whole time I'm doing the voice.

You sound fucking terrible. All right. So, hello, Michael. Hello, Michael.

Nice to get it done. How are you? I'm doing well. I'm doing well.

You had a busy weekend? Yes. So, this is a retake of the show. Retake.

Take two. So, what's kind of funny is like some of the stuff that we talked about, we're going to talk about again. And some of the things that we didn't talk about have happened since we taped it before. So, we're going to have some additional.

New stuff? Old stuff? Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. How about that? We got some new stuff and some old stuff. Please, for the love of God, stop talking like that.

I'm going to play the Godfather theme just one more time. No, don't. No fun at all. It sounds like shit when you do that.

No, it sounds great. People love voices. In the radio business, everybody knows voices. You ever seen the Robin Williams movie?

Good morning, Vietnam. Did you drink that whole cup of coffee already? I'm on my second. Actually, my third cup of coffee.

Oh, wait! You had a bang this weekend! Did you like it? I couldn't tell.

It was really good. It was good. I think good. Purple guava.

Did you look inside the can? They're all clear. No, I didn't look. That's a weird thing.

If you have a red monster, it's red. A purple monster, it's purple. Right. If you have a guava bang, it's clear.

It's clear. Everything's clear. No artificial flavors. Well, no artificial colors.

I might start incorporating the bangs. The bang felt right. Did you? Yeah.

See? See? You're right. I wish you'd carry them here.

Okay. Two for five. What are we, a fucking gas station? That's what you get at the gas station.

Two for five. Oh, we're not in a gas station. And you get the champagne flavor. Makes you feel fancy.

What have I done with my life? You know, sometimes when we do these podcasts, and you start talking, I start to think, where did I go wrong in my life? I'm getting hot, I gotta take my coat off. Terrible weather in Florida this week.

I can't believe that you're hot. I mean, you only had 75 cups of coffee. All right, so can we talk about the onesie incident? Can we get this party going?

Oh, yeah, because we gotta redo the onesie. Yeah. Fuck that guy. FTG onesies.

All right, talk about the onesies. So I made some onesies. Yes. For those of you who don't know, that's a little outfit that fits a baby.

So my fam over at Roma Craft asked if I could make some onesies. Ex-family. They are not ex-family. Oh, sorry.

They had nothing to do with this, they didn't betray me. I thought it was all Danny's fault, though we're blaming Danny. I mean, it's nice to blame Danny for everything, but I don't think we can blame him for this. Okay.

Sorry, Danny. So I made some onesies, made some Roma Craft onesies, and I said, you know what, I'm gonna make a Postanya onesie too, and I'll just throw it all in. I'll just throw it all in. So they asked for the Roma Craft onesies.

Correct. And the onesie incident was a fucking nightmare. Well, let's just back out. You've done this before for somebody else when they had a baby.

Yeah. I think Danny's a baby. Yeah. And I did it for Fiorella as well.

Oh, yeah. That's right. I knew there was another one. Okay.

So you're known for your onesies. I'm notorious. Notorious for my onesies. For cigar onesies.

Yes. So I made some onesies. Yes. We had them shipped.

I didn't verify the address like a fucking idiot, and it went to the wrong address, for starters. Oh. So, we thought the onesies were lost. Two weeks later, the onesies returned.

Here? Yes. And we reshipped them to the proper Roma Craft address. Gotcha.

Now, these were given as a gift to somebody. To who? I will not disclose this person's name. I don't think that is appropriate.

They are dead to us now, anyway. I don't think they were ever alive to us, to be honest, but either way. You shall not be named. Vendor, Vendorpump.

So, the onesies were given, and the fucking Powstanie one was left behind. What? What you say? They left the Powstanie onesie behind?

Yeah. Had the little red P on it? Yeah, that was, I thought it was the best one. Was it in the middle, like over on the little chest?

No, it was big right in the center. Big right in the center. Yeah. So it like pointed down at the little baby business.

Yeah, exactly. So, I mean, for one, if you were to get a gift, if somebody spent the hard time and effort and sent you a gift. So how many, what was the total number of onesies? I don't know, three or four?

Three or four? And in that three or four, you were number five, or you were just the extra? I don't know. So it was like a Cro-Mag, an Intemperance, and...

I don't remember. Oh. The Romacraft symbol. Romacraft symbol.

Stuff like that. Oh. So they took everything and left yours behind. They did.

A slap in the face, they say. That's fucked up. That is just a slap in the face. the face.

Yes. That's terrible. So fuck that guy. Fuck that guy.

So if anybody wants to post on your onesie, just reach out to Danny and make him ship it to you. That's it. Make him ship it to you. That's right.

For a newborn. Newborn onesie. You need to calm the fuck down. Take a breath or something.

Holy moly. Take the breath. I go back to the voice. So I can tell you that when this information was given to me, I was fucking pissed.

You were, and I didn't realize that's what was going on. You were very upset last week. And Danny was doing a good job of provoking me. So it got to a point where I was like, you know what, fuck it, I'm going to post this shit of my anger.

So I went to go post it and Instagram was down for the entire day. Oh, that was something else. Social media shut down. It's like the end of the world.

So because it was down for the day, I had enough time to calm down and I didn't post it. But now it's officially out there on the podcast. Now it's out there. I hope the guy's a listener and he knows that he hurts your feelings.

At least he's not a listener. At least I was cordial about it though. Oh. He's not a listener?

Probably not. No. I doubt it. No.

So, I got a surprise for you. A surprise! A new studio. We're getting a new studio?

No. New studio. New studio. New studio.

So, I don't know if John Oliva has seen this, but like, you know, as I've been scrolling up and down on Instagram, that fucking bobblehead's been popping up. Yes. So, they made a Bobblehead. Do we have a Mike and Mike Bobblehead?

Just calm the fuck down. So, I've been tagging him every time I see the Bobblehead on Instagram. Yeah, it's got its own Facebook page. Yeah, so, well, these are other people's and stuff.

Oh. So, the Carlito Fuente Bobblehead is officially en route to Cigar Hustler. Why is that a surprise for me? Because we can have fun with this thing.

Oh. We can, you know, now that it's on its way, we can openly say that we are going to do fucking whatever we want with this thing. Have you seen the ads on Facebook lately to get your own bobblehead? Uh, yeah, I've seen it a couple times.

Okay, because CJ at Bellicoso now has his own bobblehead. Oh, yeah? Your phone's on. Let me turn that off.

Yeah, so the Bellicoso bobblehead is now out and about also. Not nearly as cool as the Carlito Fuente bobblehead. No, but how cool it would be to have a Mike and Mike bobblehead. As Batman and Robin.

You can be Batman. I'll be Robin. Well, I thought you'd be a little more excited about it. From those photos there, that would be great.

You're killing me, Smalls. You're killing me, Smalls. You're killing me. So, what else you got?

Well, I spent the weekend in Miami. You did? And I got deathly sick. Did you?

Friday morning. Not drinking sick. I had a cold. Friday morning, I woke up, you know, and you get that feeling like, "I think I'm getting thick.

" And I'm trying to hint to my wife that I'm feeling sick. She didn't bite at all. We're loading the car, and I'm blowing my nose. She didn't give a shit.

So Friday night, 11, we go to these people. We stayed at some friends' houses down there, guys from the club. Very nice people. Very lovely house.

And I had everybody over Friday night. So there's a huge party Friday night, and I'm dying out there. My eye's watering. I have to keep getting up to blow my nose.

Boy, he's going, you're being very quiet. People don't think you don't like people. I go, I'm dying here, honey. I can't help it.

I'm dying over here. They start singing karaoke. Like, oh, you should sing karaoke. No.

And they're all Latin people, so they all kiss hello. No, so I probably infected the entire group of 12 to 15 people. So you are going to be directly responsible for the AIDS epidemic in Miami? Not AIDS.

Zika. I had the Zika. You had Zika. On Zika.

So I didn't sleep at all Friday night. I'm up all night with a sinus headache so bad, my teeth are hurting. Three o'clock in the morning, I'm laying in the bathroom floor at these people's house, deciding, should I just shoot myself, or go knock on the door and ask if they have any cold medicine in the house at all? I mean, you know there are stores in the area.

Yeah, but it's three o'clock in the morning, the alarm's set on the house. I can't get out. I'm locked in. So you knocked on the door at three o'clock?

No, I didn't knock on the door. I'm Googling on my phone, how to relieve sinus pressure, and it says hot water. Put a hot compress on your face. Can't find a wash rack in the bathroom at all.

Jeez, please. So, four o'clock in the morning, I get in the shower, and I'm just standing there with the water running on my head, just hoping that the pressure will pop and just relieve. You want to know what the problem is? What?

I was sick. I was sick. You're not doing cold plunges? No, no, I'm not doing the cold plunge, no, I'm doing the hot plunge.

Yeah, that's the opposite. So anyway, I got a little better Saturday, and by Sunday I was feeling better, and then we came home Monday. But Saturday went to-- And now you're in full fucking-- Yeah, my wife says this morning, too, she goes, "Oh, you're feeling better, aren't you? " Same thing, she's on spring break, so she didn't leave this morning, so she had to deal with me at home.

And you being here now is a big deal. And she's getting her tattoo work done. Oh. Yes.

At the tattoo place. Wait, so I went to my buddy Shia at Prime Monte Cristo Prickle. Yeah. Guess what he was smoking.

We were sitting there talking. Guess what he started smoking? A Postanya. Close.

A Chogui. Oh, very nice. Yeah, the Longsdale. Well, we don't sell the Choguis to Santa Clara.

No. Well, he's not Santa Clara. They have a deal where they share the branding, but they don't buy from Santa Clara. But those are the ones he had bought that time when he placed that big order of a few of this and a few of that from you a couple months ago.

Oh, okay. It was from that mix. Nice. Yeah, so we had a little nice weekend away.

That's lovely. Yes, it was. We had a lot of fun. People down there were very nice.

Spend St. Patrick's Day in Miami, a little different, but it was a good time. Well, you might want to consider start doing a little cold plunge action, Michael. No.

That way you don't get sick. No cold plunge, no cold plunge. Well, I did four minutes and ten seconds last week. Yes.

Which was really nice. You had all the naked guys. There was a naked guy next to me, completely naked. So did you go underwater?

I did not go underwater. " Did not reach for an air hose. But it was unique. Yes?

It was unique. So what are you up to now? Yesterday I did 15 minutes. 15 minutes on a Sunday?

No, yesterday was Monday. So you went from 4 to 15? Yeah, I hung in there. I can't breathe.

I think I did another one that was 10 minutes. Oh. So 4, 10, 15. I did 15.

When I got out of the 15-minute one, my arms felt like they were 50-pound fucking weights. Hypothermia. You're getting hypothermia. It was crazy.

I think hypothermia sets in at like 15 minutes. Is it? Well, it was fantastic. I mean, you know, I knew it was working.

Oh. So, 15 minutes, cold plunge. Yeah. And it's 48 degrees.

Woo! Oh, now you officially know the temperature. Yes. That doesn't sound healthy at all.

Well, I don't know. Did you get sick this weekend? From the cold plunge. Did Greg get sick this weekend?

Yeah, I heard Greg was sick this weekend. And then here I am, amongst all of you fuckers, not sick. That's 'cause you're on all those additives and things. What additives?

I don't know. You're always taking something. I'm not taking anything. I take vitamins and protein.

I feel like there should be music in the background, didn't I? What the hell are you talking about? We're doing The Godfather. Greg sounds like The Godfather when he's sick.

So I did the Bike Week, the Burning Bike Week. Oh yeah, how'd that go? You know what? I so wanted to ask you about that after it was over, but I know we can't talk about things unless there's microphones in front of us.

Yeah, we're not allowed to talk anymore. No, the talk-off. It was cool. It was a cool experience.

Sold a few cigars. Not a lot. Not a lot. There's a lot of people there that we know, I noticed.

I mean, yeah. Well, you know, I let them know I was there, so they came and hung out. I mean, some of these people there, though. I mean, holy shit.

You know, they fucking. They look like the writer of the movie Easy Rider. I saw a lady had to be in her late 60s. She flashed you.

No, she would have flashed me if she was wearing a shirt. So she had like a horrible paint job across her chest. It was like fucking subpar work. It looked like ears on a dog.

It was like rocks with tube socks, I mean, tube socks with rocks in them, it was so fucking bad, and I'm like, what is she thinking, um, you know, I watched, you know, a guy bought a cigar, and then he worked the shit out of it, licked the fuck out of it, it was, I'm like, oh, my God, well, he didn't pay for it at that point, I'm like, well, that's on me, sir. Definitely bought that. Nope, doesn't taste right. Which is bad.

Let me try another one there. So, you know, it's crazy because as the time was kind of going by, people were getting antsy. They wanted the fucking bike to be lit, so people are starting to get angry. " It's getting late.

Yeah. They're drunk. They want to go home. So, like, we were set up close to the bike.

Can't leave till they burn the bicycle. So, they light the bike. Yes. Right?

Did you have to give them a lighter? No, they had a torch, they had like a flaming, like a big torch thing, which is pretty cool, but so they light the bike, right, and my wife's car is close to it. Oh, she didn't notice when she parked? We were far, I thought we were far enough away, we were not far enough away, so fucking embers are just dumping on us, they're dumping on the tent, they're dumping on her car, so I jump in her car to go and move it, and these motherfuckers don't want to move.

You ran over people. " Right. " So you got a fight? Did you get a fight?

No. I just ran him over. JT just picked up the car and moved in? No.

Eventually, they moved out of the way. I tucked it over to the side and we're fine. Oh. So, that happened.

Well, that was kind of an anti-climatic story. I was looking for more. Well, I'm not gonna get into conflict. I mean, that's just ridiculous.

Why? Come on. I'm in a big SUV. I'll just run them over.

You're in your presidential SUV. Um... So what else you got? We're 15 minutes in.

Yeah, no, I got more. Don't worry. All right. So, I've been playing with Snapchat lately.

Are you serious? Yeah, getting on the snappy. I can't stand Snapchat. And I'm pretty sure that I reposted a weed story on Snapchat.

I don't probably want Snapchat, Michael. I need to tweak that a little. I need a little more practice on Snapchat. Are you doing the picture with the dog tongues?

I can't say that I have. I can take a picture of myself on the radio. So, yeah, good for you. There we go.

Can I follow your wife on Snapchat? Yeah. Oh, I have a friend request. Oh, Rage Custom Airsoft.

Yeah, okay. Okay, so my Snapchat game is weak as fuck, but I'm gonna work on that, I promise. I promise. Adam Acri was trying to teach me a little bit about it, too.

" Which mic are you under? I don't know, probably Cigar Hustler. So, can you put your phone down? I'm adding you on my Snapchat.

You can add it when we hang up with us. Fuck you, man. I do whatever goddamn thing I want. You need to, like, release some of that tension or something.

What's going on with you? Thank you. You're on your phone. How come it's okay if you're on your phone?

Because I have my notes on here, and I'm looking at notes for this podcast. Whatever, man. I'm trying my best to convey my story out as you continue to fucking interrupt me. Oh, I made my wife listen to an episode on the way back yesterday from Miami.

" Yeah, our listeners are well aware of your fucking, your interrupting me. " That's what I do. I piss people off. That's what I do.

That's what I do. So, Skip started working on the Wojtek, on the Warbear. He's tweaking it or something that he said. So, I don't know.

I haven't looked at his posts. No, no, no. The other day when you posted pictures, remember, he said he's tweaking it. We didn't know if-- Oh, he was kidding.

He was talking about the photo. He was just fucking with Matul. Oh, okay. Yeah.

No, so he's not tweaking it. But, I mean, what he did was fucking remarkable. What did he do? So, he sent me a video, and I don't think it's on Facebook.

If it isn't, I'm going to make sure I get permission from him, and we'll put it on, we'll put it up as long as he says it's okay. So, it's him, he's looking at, he's at the top of the front of the table, and there's probably, I don't know, 15, 20 of the Void Techs there, and he's talking, and he says, He says, "Hey, so, you know, what I like to do is, they all should be about 12 grams. If they're 13 grams, then there's too much tobacco in them, because they're a perfecto. And, you know, they might have some issues.

So, he literally picks it up, picks one up, he goes, this is about 12. He goes, picks one up, that one's 12, that one's 12, this one's 13, this one's 12. So, he takes them all and divides them into the 12 gram fucking section and the 13 gram section. And then, he takes a scale and confirms the 12s are the 12s.

Oh, he's doing this by hand. And the 13s are the 13s, yeah. So he's just picking them up, going, oh, 12, 13. Yeah, he was off by one.

Oh, wow. He missed one. Wow. Which was fucking amazing.

Yeah, that's pretty cool. So, like, to be able to pick up a cigar and gauge. Fill a gram. I mean, how fucking crazy.

That's why I fucks with Roma, man. Because they're on point. That's right. You know, I challenge fucking any of these other guys that, you know, kind of just fly into the factory and check in to fucking be able to weigh by the gram of a fucking cigar.

I guarantee you, 90% of them won't be able to do it. Right. Not even fucking close. I know.

You know, I mean, I could tell you, I could look at tobacco, but I wouldn't be able to determine, I mean, certain fucking legeros from other things, you know, like. I need somebody to tell me that, so like, I do my best not to lie and fucking act like I know what I'm doing, but I know that I got guys like Skip and Esteban that are just fucking beasts in this industry. I mean, ridiculous. So, I mean, I'll ask him if we can post it up, but...

Yeah, that'd be cool to see. Fucking kudos to him, man. It's just like, the talent is just remarkable. Absolutely remarkable.

FTA's going after the flavored. It's official. I know. It's official.

You know, I was talking to somebody over the weekend about that, and not a very favorable opinion, but he suggested that maybe we just offer up the flavored cigars as like a sacrificial lamb. Give it to him. I couldn't disagree more with that. Really?

Yeah. You think that's like opening the door? Well, the fact of the matter is that, you know, you start giving up things, they're going to start They're gonna need more money, they're gonna keep going for more shit. Yeah.

He did mention that, they could just, could open the door, but I mean, if they want something, just give 'em that. I totally disagree with that statement. Totally disagree. Okay.

I think that, um, I think that infused cigars are important, I think that they're, you know, I don't need the fucking government to protect me from me, right? Well, like you said, the one sure way to make kids want flavored cigars is to tell them they can't have flavored cigars. Yeah, how about we do this? Why don't we just tell everybody they can't have it, so that way it'll create an epidemic for people looking for them.

You know, because the government's fucking half-assed and they don't know anything what they're doing when it comes to the FDA. So, that, and I guess our boy Scott Gottlieb is, he's out the game, man. He's stepping down. Well, you know, he's, no idea what you're talking about.

Scott Gottlieb is the head of the FDA. Oh, that guy. Yeah, okay. Yeah, we're doing news.

You just threw me off. Hi, welcome to the cigar industry. You threw me off, then we're doing news. Well, I mean, those things are kind of big.

I don't like to do like a lot of, you know, news updates. News, news, right. Yeah. But that's just pretty crazy.

And now it's replaced with some guy from like Cancer Society or something. Well, he's temporary though, Whitney. I don't think so. I think that this guy is slated to be the next dude.

Oh, goody. So, next time I read up on news, you're gonna throw that at me. So that's pretty much what I have for the week. No, you had something else.

What did I forget? I believe you had a visit yesterday, or Sunday. Oh, from Saka? Yeah, I saw that.

Yeah, Steve Saka checked in. You weren't here. We couldn't get him on the podcast. Good job.

That's all right. It was on a Sunday? Yeah. I'm surprised you came up here on a Sunday.

" He told me that he was gonna come up on a Sunday a few weeks ago. I just didn't remember what Sunday. I saw he was in town, I wonder if he was going to come by. Yeah.

I see you have a giant Dunbar tobacco cigar label to hang out to. I do, I have that, and I also have a Saka Squatch. Oh, I thought you did, I thought you already had one of those. I gave that to a Clinton customer.

Oh, that's right. And I'll probably give the Saka Squatch away, too, to somebody. We'll do something cool with it or whatever. I like giving shit away.

I know, why don't you just let it sit around? That's not good. So yeah, Sokka came in, hung out for a couple hours. I got to smoke like this big-ass Miquerito.

Oh, very nice. It was pretty good. Was he surprised the air conditioner was working this time? You know, I think it was nice outside.

I think we actually had the doors open. Oh, he probably just figures you don't have air. Yeah, probably. Fuck that shop and don't have air conditioning.

Put his lovely wife with him? No, but he's driving everywhere. Like he drove down from New Hampshire in his fucking truck. I'm like, dude, you're out of your fucking mind.

I was surprised he was already up here, because the day before I got to Miami, he did the Come Smoke With Us, the shop on Bird Road. Oh, really? Yeah. He was there Thursday night.

No shit. Yeah. Well, then, and Friday, Saturday he did Corona, I'm assuming. Right, yeah, yeah.

So I checked in with Jeff Borchewitz. So there you go, my friend. My friend Jeff. So what level of person do you not show up for on a Sunday?

Well, I think there's a combination of things. For one, he told me he was gonna come up on a Sunday. Oh, so you had a, man. So, that was one.

For two, like, I almost opted in to have him come. Don't touch the microphone. Is this okay? Yeah, that's okay, just don't touch the microphone.

Is this okay? Yes. Okay. I almost opted in for him to come to the house.

Oh. But we had five kids there, and-- You should've had him at the house. " Here, Steve. Go to the bathroom.

Go to the bathroom, go down by the superheroes. Yeah. Turn left. Enjoy the chaos.

Enjoy the chaos. That is my house. Every fucking day of my life. Are these all your kids?

No. No, they're not all. Well, had nieces and nephews over, so. So there you go.

All right. The other episode was longer, just so you know. Yeah, but this one is filled with- Filled with information. And you're all amped up.

But the other one had technical difficulties. It did have technical difficulties. It's not like we could- It's- It would- It goes and reverbs and- I couldn't hear Mr. KD.

We apologize again to Mr. KD. Yeah, so it would be shit, and I don't want to do shit, so. I mean, he wasn't happy to be on anyway, so.

So this one was released a little late. You caught some shit because of that, which is funny. I caught some shit. No, no, everyone blames me.

I love that. That is fantastic. Well, you are kind of to blame. Why is it my fault?

Well, because it went bad. I have this 1972 Apple computer I'm working with here. You know, it went bad. The podcast had an issue, right?

We had technical difficulties. We could have done it on Monday. Were you here? Oh, sure.

You know what? You could have showed up earlier today. Were you here? I've been here since 10 o'clock.

I had a schedule. I've been here since 10 o'clock. That's good for you. Your workout and cold plunge schedule.

I gotta get yoked. If you didn't cold plunge for 10 minutes, this would have been a 10-minute turn. I skipped a cold plunge for you. Oh, thank you very much.

I skipped it. Yeah, whatever. So, you're welcome. Hey, are we gonna move downstairs?

We should move downstairs. We can negotiate that. That would be great, I'd love to have my own place. Let's start looking for a camcorder.

All right, yeah, 'cause I don't know how the audio would work with the phone, I didn't think about that. Yeah, we'll have to figure that out. All right, um, okay. All right, so look for the post for the video on- Look for the post for the video when the video comes up.

On a Cigar Hustlers podcast on Instagram, um, as long as I get approval from, uh, from the big guy. Wait till he's sick again. We'll catch him when he's weak. Skip?

Oh, that video. I thought you meant us doing video. No. Well, you meant the big guy, Greg.

No, he's not the big guy. Signed it off on the camera. He's the boss. He's the boss.

He is the boss. We won't sign off on the camera. We just have to do it. Oh, okay.

He's like the CFO, and I'm the guy that constantly pisses off the CFO. Oh, Jay. Why are you spending the money? " Do a Billions episode.

Pretend we're having an argument. Pretend we're having an argument. Okay, this is it. We're going to cut this together real quick and get it up so we can get this out.
