Episode 97 Fred Rewey hates Saran Wrap! Mike 2 skips the Bern and eats some crow. Michael Staham is Mikey's new BFF!

Episode Summary

Episode 97 of A Cigar Hustler's Podcast opens with the two Mikes tracking their download race with The Cigar Authority and issuing a genuine on-air apology to John McTavish (and Coop) for dismissing their cigar review show the week before — which leads to the hosts formally declaring themselves "cigar entertainment," not "cigar media." From there it's a loose, conversational episode heavy on hosts' weekend recaps: a Tampa birthday trip that included Epicure rooftop bar, Tampa Humidor in SoHo, the original Tampa Humidor Montecristo Lounge on 580, and Fusion — plus a long running roast over skipping a reservation at Bern's Steak House.

The news segment digs into the Reversing the Youth Tobacco Epidemic Act, which passed the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee with an exemption for premium cigars — but defines a "premium cigar" as one retailing for no less than $12. The hosts break down why a price-based definition is a problem (state tax variation, bundles, the fact that most premium cigars sell under $10) and argue the category should be defined by construction — long filler, handmade — not price point. They also poke at FDA scope creep and government dysfunction generally. Earlier, the hosts fact-check their own repeated claims about unemployment in Nicaragua, noting the national rate around 8.7% while arguing Estelí functions as its own tobacco-dependent ecosystem where cutting rollers ripples through the whole local economy.

The centerpiece is a surprise Facebook Messenger call to Fred Rewey about his new book, So Long and Thanks for the Bacon — a Hitchhiker's Guide nod, not a shot at the cigar industry he says he has not actually left. Rewey talks about writing short, stand-up-style riffs on aliens, flying cars and everyday absurdities, doing his own stick-figure illustrations, the stunt pig from an unpublished Cigar Press feature, the new Audible audiobook he narrated himself, and the "movie rights" he jokingly sold for a single Illusione 888. The hosts also discover his Saran Wrap hang-up and immediately plot revenge. The show closes with Listener of the Week (Send_the_Bishop_762) and Shop of the Week, Bellacoso Cigars on 50 and Mills in Orlando.

Episode 97 of the Cigar Hustlers Podcast, Fred Rui loves saran wrap, Mike too skips the burn, and Michael Strahan is now my bestie. Let's listen in. Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike squared, squared, squared, we recording? We just started just now.

Yes. This is episode 97, Michael, of the Cigar Hustler Podcast. Yes. Three more away from 100.

You know what I want for the 100th episode? What? I'm going to save this for the end, but we have closed the gap between us and Cigar Authority down to 672. Ooh, it's on.

So... It's on. Oh, no. It's kind of funny.

They were doing their show, I think, Saturday. I think they do theirs on Saturday morning. Yeah. Somebody live streams bits and pieces of it.

Yes. So now that they follow us on Instagram and we follow them back on Instagram, I was heckling the show. Oh, great. Oh, good.

" Wow. Geez. Super aggressive. It was kind of funny.

It was funny. See, you get one laptop, and all of a sudden you're starting to... You know, you need to come up with a new thing, the reason I do is size a laptop. It's getting a little old, Michael.

Well, that's it. I mean, all of this is new to me. You know what? This is all...

Like, that is the point. Because you... Oh, you're gonna punish me with the... There we go.

Punish you with the snapping of the papers. Punish our listeners is what it is. No, no, they all love it. I have a question, why does it say, why are we episode 97, but it's like 98 on iTunes?

Because I had a listener ask me that. Is it really? Yeah, something like that. Like, the numbers don't match.

I don't know. Hmm. Because it's 97 on Podbean, it's where I keep track. I don't ever go to iTunes.

It's hard to find out anything on iTunes. Oh, okay. Well... I don't know.

Maybe we doubled an episode one time or something. I don't know. Okay. So, they numbered themselves on iTunes?

Yeah. I didn't know that. It's so weird. Does it say like episode 97, like last week it said episode 97, but then the title was episode 96?

episode 97, you know. Huh, weird. I'll have to check. I don't know why that happens.

Strange. I don't know why. I also do this really weird thing because I have this mic here in my face, because I watch YouTubes, and I do like this thing with my cigar. It drives me fucking crazy.

I'm like, what? God, that's so annoying. So now I'm switching hands, hoping that'll change. See, I'm a left smoker normally, too, but because of the way the thing's set up, it's right, so...

It's so weird. That's a lot of times why I don't smoke during the show, because I'm doing other things. Yeah. There's not room over here.

This is strictly the gong hand on the show. Oh, I see. You know what? It's not, because I reach across.

Yeah, see? Apparently, my left hand is just useless for the show. Yes. That's weird.

Huh. You're right, because this is not comfortable at all. Yeah, but then, like, because I have all these things over here... Yeah.

Yeah. So like, I do like this little flip thing. Great. Now I'm going to go back and watch the other shows and look for your hand thing and my hand thing.

And it drives me nuts. So I'm going to work on fixing that. Oh. I forgot to do something.

Mm-mm. Hmm. Okay. So we'll just do the secret word is bacon.

Bacon's the secret word. Oh. Only if you're in the Florida Cigar Club. Does that make any sense to you at all?

Ah. It's bacon. Oh, it's a thing for the Florida Cigar Club? It's a bacon.

The contest I'm running with the Florida Cigar Club through the show, using the show as part of the thing. Bacon. Bacon is the secret word, folks. The secret word is bacon.

Okay. I'll say it again at the end. All right. All right.

I need to start, start up. Ooh, I almost did the papers. Tently. Tently.

I need to, apparently, I did something wrong last episode. I need to apologize. Ah! Yes.

I need to apologize to Mr. John. I have that written down. Mr.

John McTavish and developing pallets. Yeah. Apparently, the show has many different types of shows that they do. They sure do.

13 episode was just the pour and tell. That guy. They've been around for about as long as we have, if not a little bit longer. Yeah, longer.

I'm not familiar with John McTavish. I'm not familiar with his show. That guy has been doing media for as long as I know. So, I don't even know if we're friends on Facebook, but I think we are at this point, but we weren't before.

So, they have a cigar review show that's been around for over two years, which I'm not familiar with. So, Mr. McTavish, if you have his phone number, we can call him. I don't have his number.

I'll apologize. I see him at the show, so I'm sorry, Mr. McTavish. He does a lot of stuff with Coop.

Yes, apparently he does a lot of stuff with Coop, and the good news is, Coop evidently watches the show because he called me out. " So he called me out, so I apologize to Mr. Coop and also to Mr. McTavish.

Eatin' crow right now. I'm very sorry. I love it. If you'd like to come on the show and call me names, you are more than welcome to send in your phone number.

We will call you next week, or have you on for the 100th episode, whatever. So are we Cigar Media, Mike? No, we're Cigar Entertainment. No, we decided we were Cigar Entertainment.

And you like that, and you feel good about that. I'm happy with that, and now I can do whatever I want. I might just put my feet up here in the middle of the show. Because we're Cigar Entertainment.

Cigar Entertainment. Like Howard Stern isn't media. No, not anymore, no. Was he ever media?

I think he thought he was, king of all media, he used to call himself. And then Coop called him? Coop called him. Called him out on his bullshit?

Bullshit. Did Coop call Howard Stern? Howard Stern? Maybe.

That's what happened. We don't fact check. Yeah. And now it's just entertainment.

Now it's just entertainment. Yeah. We are just entertainment. We are not media.

Even though we do do news. Yeah. But we make fun of the news. We don't fact check anything.

No. Yeah. So, once again, Mr. McTavish, I'm very sorry.

What about Coop and Eric? I didn't insult Coop. Eric, I didn't insult Eric. Okay, okay.

I just sort of poo-pooed Mr. McTavish's show. Yeah, that wasn't fair. So, I do apologize.

If you would like us to be on your show so you can berate me on your own show, we can more than willing to arrange that. He's not that type of guy. I don't know him. I don't know.

Yeah, he's not that type of guy. I mean, I would take full advantage of this, my groveling and my willingness to be beat up on all forms of media, whatever he wants to do. Okay. Because, you know, as long as it's entertaining.

Entertainment. Because we are cigars. We're cigar entertainment. All right.

Okay. Now we got that out of the way. Yes. All right.

On with the show now. Episode 97 of the Cigar Hustle Podcast. Just two more after this one until the 100th show. Can't wait.

Cats and dogs. Cats and dogs. Things falling from the sky. I would like to announce we are the number one show at the time.

That would be very nice. That'd be happy. " Yeah. You know, having that, I think the nice video helps too, because you saw a pretty decent jump in YouTube subscribers in a small period of time.

Yes. Yes. I got another compliment today on the new view. It looks nice.

It is a lot better. It's a lot better. Yeah. And I have my bang right here.

You have your bang, which we just had to reorder today. More bang. Sorry. I'm just checking the video to make sure everything's going.

We're going. Okay. All right. We have several times you have mentioned the unemployment in Nicaragua is just rampant.

Yeah. It's just going crazy. Uh-huh. Okay.

So I did a little research. Yes. First, the newspapers are not reporting anything about the unemployment in Nicaragua. Tell me.

746% in December 2019, as reported by International Monterrey Fund, World Economic Outlook. But that's not Esteli, that's just, that's Nicaragua. As Nicaragua as a whole, I don't think there's a whole lot of newspapers going just in Esteli. Okay.

It records a decrease from last report, so unemployment, according to this organization, is down. More people are working. Uh huh. Then uh.

But Esteli is like its own ecosystem. Is it? Yeah, it's up in the mountains, it's got its own, there's nothing, like it's untouched. So, and the only, the big thing that's in Esteli is tobacco.

Correct, yes. So when you start, when you start cutting rollers. Right. I mean, that's a huge, you know, impact on their, their entire economy.

Because it's all by itself. Well, sure, people stop working, people stop buying. So, I mean, you know, if the rollers aren't employed, then, you know, Mama of... There's not a lot, there's not a lot else to do in Esteli.

That's what I mean. I mean, also, all the other service industries fall apart, you know, the ice cream, the Pizza Hut, whatever it is you guys said. I think the ice cream's gone. The ice cream, last time I was there, it was gone.

But the Pizza Hut's still there. That's forever good pizza, but it's still there. Is it weird pizza? Like strange flavors?

No, it's as close to Pizza Hut as you'd expect. Okay, because Pizza Hut in China is like a five-star restaurant. I mean, there's like a maitre d' sits you down at the table, these big fancy menus. It's like Demolition Man?

Meet me at Taco Bell. Right, same way. You know, that's what I thought the first time I was into one. Wow.

And you get, like, eel pizza and, you know, weird stuff like that. Mm-hmm. Green tea pizza. Mm-hmm.

Smoking microphones driving you crazy. Oh, my God. I got some stuff to talk about, too, so let me know when I'm allowed to talk, Michael. Okay, I'll let you know.

All right. This weekend I went to Tampa. Yeah? My wife's little birthday extravaganza.

How was Bern? We didn't end up going, to tell you the truth. You have got to be fucking kidding. I know.

I know. As it got closer and closer to the time, we both decided that we wouldn't have had a good time. Wow. We're not fancy people by any means, and I was afraid that I had built it up so much in my head, no matter how good it was, I'd have been disappointed.

This is the worst thing I've ever heard you saying in my entire life. That's the dumbest shit. She was concerned she didn't bring nice enough clothes, and she didn't want to get all dressed up. That's so ridiculous.

So go in flip-flops, who gives a shit. Oh, no, they have a dress code. I looked it up. You can't go in flip-flops?

Can't go in flip-flops. I bet you Skip could make his way in there. Can't go in t-shirts. Well, Skip would walk in with his double black American Express card.

Look. They would've, you know, parted the Red Sea. No, the Red Sea. Let him walk in.

That's nice. Let's see, so we get there. Do you realize what you just said, though? Go ahead.

It's like, I don't want to sit in first class. I'm really excited about it, and, you know, I feel like I'm just going to be disappointed. It's like, whoa. No, not exactly the same.

You're kidding me, like the steak that you would have had there would have been amazing. I don't know, but I don't think it would have ever been as good as it was in my head. So, yeah. So, right now.

Get yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Well, no, we still went out and had a nice dinner. She still got a nice steak. You went to Outback?

No, we didn't go to Outback. You went to Friday's? No, we went down to Clear River Beach. Chili's?

And I forget the name of the restaurant we went to. I don't think I have it even down here or not. Michael. Nope, nope.

Michael. Nope. That's the dumbest shit. Oh, well.

I really feel like you missed out on an opportunity here. Might have, but it's not that big a deal to us. I mean, if we want to go some other time, we'll go a different time. Enjoying good things in life is not a big deal to you?

I'm not fancy at all. You don't have to be fancy to like a good steak. You know what? " I'll go eat the $20 hamburger over at the place.

Mike is okay. Okay, he's gonna go to McDonald's, and he doesn't want any of the finer things in life. He doesn't want the camaraderie, the memories. He doesn't want any of that stuff.

He prefers the pizza at the fucking cafeteria. Well, honestly, when you're in at the PCA, at the IPCPA, the fun for me is the camaraderie, the eating with the group. Which happens more at dinner, too. Well, I'm not saying I don't eat dinner.

Yeah, but you don't like the finer things. I'm just not bougie at all, Michael. Whatever. You don't have to be bougie.

All right, Michael, what do you want to talk about since you're just going to poo poo on all my stuff? No, keep going. Let's go. No, I want to know what else happened this weekend.

We went to Epicure, which is a rooftop bar Friday night. That was very nice. We went there. Is it a smoking place or no?

No, I asked a couple people if they thought I could smoke and it was outdoor, but I was like, well, I'm sure it would be okay. No. I guess. You have an ashtray?

No. No, they didn't have an ashtray. Right. I'm like, okay.

I was like, well, I just ash over the rail down in the parking lot. Perfect. Yeah, fine. No one will care.

But after that, we went to Tampa Humidor in Soho. Okay. That was nice. What about Fusion?

That was Saturday. This is still Friday. Oh, okay. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Then we went to some local, some bar next door to Tampa Humidor, where a lot of loud music, like boom, boom, boom, boom, a lot of people dancing. You like that stuff. No, I'm really too old. I'm a huge fan.

There's young ladies with barely no gloves on. Yeah, I mean that's terrible. Drunk people everywhere. So you don't like music, you don't like dancing.

" Wow. I know! That was kind of funny. You can't go to a club without a taser.

If you're a young lady. I'll give you my number. Boom, down. That's what she needed, evidently.

Yeah. So that was Friday, let's see, Saturday, we went to Tampa Humidor on 580, the original Tampa Humidor Monte Cristo Lounge, and Christina Kosica took care of us there, she bought us drinks, and she's in a cigar club, I already knew her. Oh, you wrote that down. Well, I wrote it down, so I said it correctly.

She's Romanian, so it's a little bit of a... Romania. She talks like that, I guess. Today, you have...

Very similar, yes, that's a good Romanian accent for you. We had the moose and squirt. Yes. Yes.

That's what I sort of think of when I talked to her. Awesome. That was very nice. A little rocking boat wind.

Then we had lunch down on the waterfront, down where the cruise ships come in. All right. That was nice. Yeah.

And then we went to Fusion that night. Fusion's a cool place. You know, I thought it was going to be busier, I guess, but it was Saturday night down on the beach, but it wasn't extremely busy. I mean, it was a nice-sized crowd, but, I mean, we easily got seats at the bar and a couple of the tables.

The rooms were empty, but it's a nice place. Yeah. I thought she would enjoy that because all the tables light up, the bars light up. Did she enjoy it?

She did. Actually, the highlight of the evening for her was I went to go-- Not going to burn? No, yeah. I went to go put more money in the meter for the car, and evidently two gentlemen came and sat down next to her while I was gone.

So she was talking to the other couple. We were with Greg and Jocelyn. " The bartender got up in those guys' faces and told them, "Look, her husband's sitting there. You two guys need to move.

" So, the bartender made the move. That was kind of fun. And that made her... That was...

That was the highlight of the evening, yeah. It was nice, the bartender, the young lady dressed in the lingerie almost, you know, stood up and made the gentleman move. That was nice of her. Lovely.

And as we're leaving, in the parking garage, the fire alarm's going off. Oh. You pulled the fire alarm? No, I didn't pull the fire alarm.

It was going off. So right as we pull out, three fire trucks showed up and locked down the parking garage looking for the fire. So we barely got out. And then as we're crossing the causeway, there was a felony drug bust.

Five police cars had guys pulled over, and there was drugs all over the trunk of the car. Really? Yeah. Nice.

Quite the excitement as we left. That's good. Yes. I still can't believe you passed on burn.

Eh, you know. Because why live? Goddammit. You're very angry.

I'm just, you know what, I just want my friends to experience the finer things in life, and you know. I've been to several burnish type restaurants, it's not that big a thing. But it's not burnt. I've been to one better than burnt in Hong Kong, I would imagine.

Maybe. But I'm sure he is. Probably so. Yeah.

No, it's good. But have you blessed the rains down in Africa? Yes. I've blessed the rains in Africa.

Oh, good for you. I've had drinks with the dragons in Hong Kong. Oh, that's cool. Yes.

What do you want to talk about, Michael? What's your story before we get into the news? I mean, nothing really important, but I can tell you this: I am now friends with Michael Strahan on LinkedIn. On LinkedIn?

Yeah, you know who that is? I know who LinkedIn is. Do you know who Michael Strahan is? I know who Michael Strahan is.

You do know who Michael Strahan is. He used to do the Regis and Kathie Lee show, that guy, right? How about the fact that he used to play football? Eh, well, you know, you know him for what you do, and evidently he wasn't good at it because, what's her name, Kelly Ripa got him kicked off the show.

That's not how that played out. Oh, no, he did quit. He quit, wasn't he? Yeah, he signed a better deal.

Signed a better deal. Oh, yeah, she was not happy. Oh, no, she wasn't happy. But, yeah, we had, like, five or six mutual friends.

And, like, you know, I never go on LinkedIn. So I went on. I was going to say, whoever goes on LinkedIn. And, like, it said, you know, suggested for you.

And it said, Michael Strahan. I'm like, I'm going to send a friend request. Screw it. Let's see.

Oh, and he approved it. Let's see how this goes. Yeah, then two weeks later, it's like, you are now friends with Michael Strahan. So now we're really close.

Have you chatted with him? No, not at all. Is that a message? Nothing.

How do you know it's just not his PR firm that runs his LinkedIn? It's verified. It's really him. I don't know.

I have no idea. It's him. I honestly have no idea. I don't think he's at home with his phone going, "Oh, I like this Michael Stefan Kewitz guy.

" And now here we are. Because I have all sorts of free time by Michael Strahan. I'm just social media buzzer. We've arrived.

Oh, good for you. That's exciting. Can you get him on the show? Call in?

Sure. Yeah, no problem. Hook over the phone. Hook over the phone.

I've labeled it now, I know which one the phone is. Hook it up. Oh, that's good for you. Moving on up in the world.

Moving on up. I got to subject myself to a sleep test, sleep study with my four-year-old son. That's right, with the little guy. Those are terrible.

I did it as an adult and it was terrible. I mean, dude, this poor guy. He's getting the wires linked up, and you know, the nurse is okay. She doesn't really have a bedside manner, but she doesn't completely suck either.

Is it a children-exclusive sleep study place? No, no, so it's not. So normally, she's dealing with adults. Yeah, I think so.

Yeah, so there's not a lot of children that do this. Yeah, so, man. Did they have, like, Spider-Man sheets or anything? Nothing, nothing.

Nothing. So, I mean, you had Disney, your TV channels were standard Disney and Nickelodeon. Wait, you got TV? Yeah, for the first hour, and then you had to turn it off.

Oh, when I did it, there was no TV. You need to turn that off by 10 o'clock. I was like, okay. Oh, no, they just had me show up by 10 o'clock, hook me up, and turn off the lights.

You can't make any noise either. He's not either. You can't disturb him. I'm like, okay, so...

They're yelling at you. So he's getting wired up, and like, he's miserable. He's crying. He's upset.

I'm thinking... Hey, what is this? And I'm like, you know what? I don't think I want to fucking do...

Like, I almost walked out. You know, I'm like, I don't think that I need this. I don't think that he needs this. I don't think this will really...

You know, I don't care what your fucking study's gonna say. I don't give a shit. My son's upset, and I'm ready to go. What were they looking for?

Like, when I did it, they thought I had sleep apnea. They're trying to determine if he has sleep apnea. At that age? Can you get it at that age?

I guess, yeah. Wow, I never know that. So, I mean, apparently his tonsils are gigantic, though, so, I mean, I don't think that it really made, I don't know, we'll see how it plays out. Does he do that thing that adults do, like, when he stops breathing?

Oh, yeah. Oh, wow, that would be scary with a child. Oh, yeah. Freaks me out.

I haven't done that in years. Luckily, I lost enough weight where, you know, it's not an issue anymore. Yeah. I was much heavier then.

Huh. So there's that. Yeah. He's not battling obesity, I can tell you that much.

No, no, he's not. He's like 35 pounds. I love that little guy. He's always so happy to see me, but apparently he's happy to see everybody.

He loves everybody. He does. He's just like his dad. Ager noise goes, he just loves you.

And I go, no, I'm lying. He loves everybody. As long as I give you the okay when you walk in the door, he's like, hey, what's up? Yeah, that's justice for you.

So, yeah, that was completely miserable. The night sucked. The beds were uncomfortable. Every time there was a noise, I thought the ninjas were coming in to attack us.

I mean, you know, it was just, or he would say, Daddy, I want to go home, like, you know. Do you want to go home? Do you want to go? Daddy can get us out of here right now.

We will, I will rip all of these right off. I will just cut them and we'll take them with us. The other half. I have one of Uncle Greg's knives in my pocket.

Yeah. And we will go. So, you know, worked it out with him. It only cost me some ice cream and like a soccer ball.

So that was nice. What a weird combo. But I mean, the next. If you stay, you can have ice cream.

But you know, I didn't, I didn't sleep for shit, you know. Oh, shit. Oh, I bet, yeah. You know, I was just like, every noise, every sound, everything just set me off.

But I did get some images done for the website, which is nice. Oh, you took your laptop with you? Yeah, I did. Hammered out some of that stuff.

And then, yeah, so we woke up the next morning. I went home. I slept for like four hours because I didn't really sleep that much. That was terrible.

What time did they turn you loose? m.? Yeah, I think that's what it was for me, too. Ugh, God.

Oh, God. " Are you sure I need this doctor? Because I'm going to tell you, it sucks. I mean, you'd think that by now that they'd have some kind of thing that would just, like a camera that would monitor you and they could get all those- Yeah, or a hat.

All the wires built into a hat or something. Yeah, just something simple. I mean, like, the wires that they put on you. Yeah, and they put all over you and up your nose.

It's horrendous. Yeah. Oh, this is going to go right into his nostrils, but it's not oxygen. It doesn't help him.

I'm like, okay, great. Thanks. So it's sucking air out of him. I mean, if it's not blowing, it's sucking.

No, it confirms your level of carbon, blah, blah, blah. So then it's measuring discharge out your nose. So it's sucking air out of his nose. Yeah, whatever.

It was terrible. So I had a birthday party I went to for my other son this weekend. Which is fun. Where'd you guys go?

It's like some kind of soccer. You go to Burns? Some kind of soccer. I heard nobody likes to go.

Nobody likes to go. No, but I'll tell you right now, if I had a... Reservation? Yeah, thank you.

If I had a reservation, I would have gone to Burns. I would have eaten the steak, and I would have told you how amazing it was. Well, you know. I'm not sitting in first class.

Screw that. I'm sitting in first class. It's not that big a deal, either. Okay.

So... So, anyways... You're so young. Yeah.

I just want the finer things in life. What's wrong with that? They don't amount to much, Michael. Oh, really?

They're gonna have just as good a life without the finer things. Huh. Just as happy. Just as happy.

But anyway, birthday party. I don't know if I agree with that statement. Birthday party. Because if that's the case, then we'd be fucking smoking quorums right now.

Exactly. And you're smoking your private stash. So, yeah, went to the birthday party, soccer thing, yadda yadda. None of the parents talked to me.

None of the parents talked to me. He didn't speak to me. Was it a soccer team party? Well, no.

Where were the kids from? It's from his school. Kids are from school. So, but it's a small community in that school.

Right. Right. But they don't know me. So...

So, why didn't you interject yourself? So, I'm like, no, I, no, I didn't. I wasn't feeling it. That's not you.

I wasn't feeling it. Hmm. So, um, maybe next time I'll be super aggressive, but like... You didn't bring your little bag of cigars you bring to birthday parties?

Hey, what's up? You guys want? Hey, you guys want a cigar? Nice Catholic school kids, and like, hey, you know.

Just walk around shaking into blessing people. I'm just, I got a feeling that, you know, I'm usually identified as the evil person anyway, so whatever. You know, like I'm the devil. The cigar guy?

Like growing up my whole life, I was always like, even if I wasn't the kid that was doing bad, I was always like, they always, everybody kind of classified me as the evil child. So my best friend's, my best friend's grandma would always watch him, and she called me Damien. Yeah, the son of the devil. Awesome.

So, you know, hey, here I am, living my best life. Do they call you the cigar guy? And Adrian's friends, they know, oh, you're the cigar, how do they not know? How do they not know who you are?

Alex, our son, his roommate's dad is into cigars, and I help him find some cigars at one time, whatever, but Alex has met his roommate's dad's best friend. They all went to a Buccaneers game together recently, because the man has a season tickets to Buccaneers. So the guy pulled out a couple cigars, and he's smoking, I don't know what he was smoking, but they're talking. " Oh, nice.

" So the guy follows me on social media, knows who I am. " "How's your mom getting along with your stepdad? " How's that working out? Things going okay?

Things going okay? Because I'll go to Burns. I will buy her an outfit, and we will go. So that's awesome.

Good for you. That was funny. Yeah. That was funny.

Okay, we're at 25 minutes. We'll take a break before we get into the news. Ooh. And then we're going to talk about the bacon.

Then we're going to do, oh, yes, and we're going to do Fred's book. We'll do Fred's book when we get back, and then we will get into it. Let me see what kind of news we got here. We only have a little news, so let's do a little news.

A little news. And then we'll get into Fred's book. Ah. Alright, so we'll be right back.

Bye. And we're back! And we're back. Welcome to episode 97/98.

Let me say that I listened to the commercial on the last episode, and you've really stepped up your game. I've stepped up the commercials. It's quite impressive. I'm working on a script for a video commercial for the video fans.

Really? Yes, you and I will do a video commercial. I'm excited about it. I know you are.

I can't wait. Well, that's right. But you have to memorize the script. I don't want it like we did last time where you're just reading it going...

Line. Line. Line, please. Earl.

Earl, I need a line. Earl, what's a line? And if you put your hands on the fucking life again? I think we might be able to get Earl on the show next episode.

Yeah? You can interview Earl. Really? Yeah.

Oh. Oh, God. Why is he shushing us as he walks in? He walks in.

Yeah, like we got no respect. Just come right in. Just come right in. Doesn't matter.

Oh, he's gonna use the restroom. Oh, yeah. Come on in and use the bathroom, Steve. There's a bathroom in the front.

Oh, he's getting his jacket. No, he's getting his jacket. He's getting his jacket. Well, the meeting's over.

He wants to leave. He's done. He's done for the day. He's done for the day.

He's out. All right. So, yeah, we get no respect on this podcast. Apparently not.

It doesn't matter that the recording sign was up. Everybody just, you know, walks right in. We need to pull the door. You need to take the key.

Take the key. Lock it from the inside. Make him just sit there and wait. Okay, in the news.

I thought you were doing the bacon. No, we're gonna do, it's just one page of news, and then we'll do the bacon. And then we'll do the bacon? Then we'll do the bacon.

Okay. Okay, the anti-smoking bill that would have banned catalog and internet sales exempts premium cigars, Michael. Yes, we discussed that briefly. No, no, you didn't pay attention.

Okay. The anti-smoking bill that would have banned catalog and internet sales exempts premium cigars. It looks like politicians with opposing views can compromise, oh this is from Cigar Aficionado by the way, looks like politicians with opposed, make sure it's recording, can compromise after all, a bill that sought to ban internet and catalog sales of all tobacco products now has an exemption for premium cigars. I don't think they can compromise after all.

Officially called the Reversing the Youth Tobacco Epidemic Act. Passed the House, hell of a name, passed the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Health Subcommittee vote last week. Weak the bill, among other things, in fact, they obliterate a catalog. Does it say ba-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub?

It says ba-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub. So apparently, here we go, this is, however, a catch. The definition of a premium cigar in this bill is defined as having a retail price of no less than $12. Right.

Such pricing structure would only cover a portion of the premium cigar industry. Mm-hmm. Although today's vote is significant progress towards saving American history, premium cigar industry, we will have more work to do. So as Newman, a minimum price of $12 per cigar is problematic, particularly since the price of premium cigars varies greatly, this is Newman's voice, varies greatly across the country due to different state tax rates.

Traditionally, FDA's own data shows that fewer than 25% of premium cigars are sold for more than $10. All right. So that's all you have saying, that's right? No comment?

No, I think that they'll work it out. What do you think would be a good price to be the premium cigar? Should it be that they rate it on price or that they rate it on what it is? It shouldn't be identified by its price point.

It should be identified by, I don't know, maybe, you know, long filler, but you'd also have to incorporate bundles as well. I think that those should, you know, because those are important. How about a... Those are an integral part of our ecosystem.

Would just qualifying handmade cigars be a premium cigar? Or is there too many machine-made stuff that would be out? Well, there are teammates that are considered premium, or at least, you know, as far as, you know, a 70-year-old man's standards premium. So, you know, I will say this, though, I don't think that they're compromising.

I think that, you know, they don't know how to regulate it. It's not really possible to regulate it, and it's totally unnecessary. So it's like, okay, well, you know, FDA doesn't want to deal with it. And I agree.

Don't they have enough on their plate already? Yeah, they shouldn't want to deal with it. I mean- It's not advantageous for them. An article yesterday that the FDA put out, they listed the top 10 dog foods that cause heart disease in dogs.

Oh. I didn't know the FDA covered dog food. What's food? Well, I'm not eating it.

Are you eating it? I mean- I've heard people eating food. Well, I've heard people eat dog food too, but it wasn't going to give you heart disease, it's giving your dog heart disease. Hmm.

That just seems, it's such a wide- Seems a bit excessive? Yeah, that now they're doing dog food? I would say it probably is a bit excessive, but they're the government, and they're here to help us. That's true.

You would think, though, they would be a different organization to regulate animal food? The dog food? Animal food. Oh, so let's build an entire different branch?

Well, you think that would already be there? No. No, let's not. If they're regulating dog food.

No, let's not do that. Please not so. Maybe the Department of Agriculture can cover the dog food. We need the dogs to be safe.

What I do find kind of funny is that I think, wasn't it last year that they were working They were working on a budget, and the budget was going to be a problem in the government? Yes, yes. And holidays came, and they all went home? Yes.

Shut down. They almost shut down a couple weeks ago. Okay. " Yeah.

Thanks for spending the money there. Yeah. I mean, that makes sense. I mean, everybody else who works for the government, you're not getting paid.

Right, you're not getting paid. But they went home. Yeah, it's no big deal. We'll take care of you later.

We'll take care of you later. Maybe after the first of the year, we'll get back into this. Well, yeah, they don't compromise. I don't believe that shit.

No, no. None of them are there for us. They don't help us at all. Period.

Period. Yeah. Why don't we just do it without the government? Anarchy everywhere.

I don't know. I mean, you know. No government regulation at all. It should just be minimized.

Just come back? Yeah. Call Skip. Ask Skip what he thinks the government should do.

He thinks that the government should take care of the people that can't take care of themselves. We could have a whole separate show on Skip for the government. I could tell you that. You know, I mean, these things are simple.

You know, I think that immigration should be streamlined. It's ridiculous, right? This is where we lose our listeners. Because that's what this country is built on.

Yeah, this isn't entertaining at all. We should save this for the Cigar Media people. Wow. Okay, all right, cool.

Okay, Fred Rui's got a new book out. Wow. Just shit all over me. Thank you so much.

It is. It is called So Long and Thanks for the Bacon by Mr. Fred Rui. It's nice enough to send us a few copies for us to go over.

He did. He's a good guy. Very nice of you. Thank you, Fred.

Do you have Fred's number? Should we call Fred on the phone? Now I'm feeling aggressive towards yourself. Do you want to call Fred?

If you want. So long and thanks for the bacon. See, Fred is one of my favorite people. I'll text him and see if he's available.

See if he's available? Can you do that? He's been on the show twice. He's been on episode 79 and on episode 6.

I don't know if I have his number. Oh, you don't have it? I don't have his phone number. I just have a phone number.

The book was a very easy read. I did love the book. I can call him via Facebook Messenger. I guess that would work through.

Yeah. Yeah. So, reading the book is just like sitting and talking to Fred. It's exactly the same.

Yeah. Okay, I appreciate your chiming in there. I'm texting him. It was neat that some of the things that we talked about when he was on the show showed up in the book.

Not that he referenced the show, but some of the same topics. Like our five questions, who would you most like to have a cigar with, living or dead? Yeah. He's got a chapter about who would you like to have dinner with, living or dead?

Yeah. He picked the same person. He thinks that the Packers, the Green Bay Packers are America's team, which is a common line. Oh, he might be in Green Bay, did he?

I think he went to the game yesterday. He's like, ugh, the Packers are America's team. Maybe Stravinson, I don't know. No, they're not.

He picked Mark Twain both times. The Cowboys are America's team. That was nice of it. I'll call from here.

Did you, did you text him? Yeah. Did he answer? Can I call you?

" Let's see. What is it? Give me a thing. Go ahead.

Give me a thing thing. It's wrapped around the head bumping. But don't pull don't pull too hard all right you want to try this we've never done the Facebook Messenger Facebook Messenger for Fred oh it's going through what number hello hey Fred hello hello how did you get this number well welcome to a cigar hustlers podcast via phone see this is one way to let's get somebody out of If you don't want a show that keeps saying no, you know, you just call them out of the blue. Exactly.

It works out really well. It works out well for us this way. And the fact of the matter is you've never been on a show. We've been on a show twice.

Yeah, and you can't take over the show. We can hang up on you at any fucking time. We can hang up on you now if you're bothered. Oh, thank God.

Thank God. Like, I don't have a hang up button on my side. That's true, but we do have your book here. Be careful.

I've got 740 of them sitting in my closet. That's why the ranking's up so high on Amazon. I've got seven copies right here, I'm, you know, if I sell those I gotta make more, so let's be careful. There you go.

We won't say it was too good though. Well, hey, so yeah, well, you know, I'm almost done with the book, Mr. Palmer has read the entire book. I had a whole hour to kill, so I read it twice.

I mean, it's really, it's not like anything you've done before, it's really kind of fascinating, very entertaining, you know. Thank you, I think. Yeah, you're welcome. It's just, you know, it's like, some of the shit that you talk about, I mean, it is kind of, it's, it's stuff that you definitely have conversations with, like, at a cigar store, for sure, you know?

Yeah, yeah, I mean, the idea was, I mean, look, I mean, you know, the book was just for fun. It was just for me. I mean, you know, I mean, you know, I did stand-up 10 million years ago, and, you know, I just, I just started writing my thoughts down on particular subjects, and it might be a page, it might be two pages, it might be three pages, And then at some point I'm just like, you know what, maybe I could actually write a book on this, and maybe there's just people out there that would have any level of interest, because they're weird, and they would also like it, so it just worked out. It's really funny.

I like that you did your own illustrations for the book, Fred, that was a nice touch. Yeah, they're really in-depth. I wish I would have done more, I didn't think of that until the very end, and then I wish I would have done more illustrations, because there's a marketing book that I have from a guy that he did these stick- And I'm like, "That's how I should do illustrations. " So I wish I would have done more of them.

So those are all your illustrations, or all original works? I think that the pig and the bunny slippers are not mine. Okay. So the McRib is you?

Oh, yeah. Yeah, that's talent right there. Without a hand? Me, without a McRib?

Yeah, I can understand why you would confuse it with an original Picasso. Yeah. But if you look real close to the timeline, the McRib was not out yet. That's actually the giveaway.

That's how they, that's how they, at an auction, that's how they determine any kind of level of fraud between me and Picasso, is, is there a McRib in the photo, or is there bacon in the photo? Oh, clear, okay, it's a Rui, it's a Rui original, not a Picasso. It's not a Picasso. Oh, very nice.

Common mistake, common mistake. And you feel that the Green Bay Packers are America's team, huh? I do feel that they are America's team, because, I mean, they're, they're, you know, I mean, they're not, they're, just 'cause they're not cowboys. Right.

I mean, you know, that's, that, we're, we're talking Midwest, you know. Cheese, American cheese people. Cheese, America, yeah. You can buy stock of the Green Bay Packers, it's not worth anything.

You could, yeah. I mean, to me, that would be the ultimate trump card. Basically, it's the only team that the general public owns, and the NFL won't allow it again. If that's not America's team, I don't know what is.

Yeah. I mean, I feel like the Cowboys are America's team. Are they still America's team? Oh, yeah, they are America's.

They're never not going to be America's team. But how did they get that? Yeah, how did that happen? Great marketing.

I mean, did they just wake up, I mean, I mean look, I read Fred's original book, and they know what they're doing. Nothing against, like, the gay and lesbian community, because I'm super supportive of them, and whatever you want to do, you want to do, but how did they get all the colors in the rainbow? Right. " Yep.

" Because I guess that would be fair. Yeah, nobody used it. " Let's be America's team. We can be America's team, just claim this shit right now.

Done. Yeah, done. Yeah, I mean, I guess that's how it goes down. Nobody's going to check ever.

And somebody in Green B is like, "God damn it! We would have thought of that before! " That could have been us. " And then bam!

There you go! No one's used it! Here it is! So, you also did a good little piece on aliens.

Everything's really quick. It's like a really quick point of view. It's really funny. I have a very short attention span.

Yeah. Yeah. As soon as you get into the explanation, it's over. And you're like, okay, now we're on to Kia.

And I gotta tell you, I mean, hey, Coop, it's really good being on your show. Oh, sorry, wrong show, my bad, my bad. Yeah, this is Cigar Entertainment, not Cigar Media. So, my mistake, my mistake.

Yeah, so aliens, I mean, yeah, I mean, like, you know, I mentioned the bug, it would be a massive waste of space if they're not really out there. It's funny when you talk to people like, oh no, there couldn't possibly be aliens. How could there not be? Well, they wouldn't have the technology that we do, or like, what if they started just 200 years before us?

I mean, look at what we've done in the last, you know, 50 years, let alone 200 years. I mean, what if they just started 200 years before us? Right, right. You're upset about no flying cars either?

When you said what, God just quit after seven days? When I was a kid, we were promised flying cars when I was a kid. Right. Yeah, they're supposed to be here by now.

We were promised flying cars. Right. Where the hell are they? I don't know.

It's a conspiracy theory. Right. It's complete bullshit. I, but you know, I will say this.

I know Mike, Mike wants to get a word in so bad, but I will tell you this. Here's the downfall to your book. Like I'm learning some of your weaknesses. So like next time I see you, I'm, I'm going to fucking hit you with so much, uh, cellophane and a what, what's it called?

Uh, the stuff that you wrap up in food. Yeah. Well, okay, but the existence of cellophane doesn't bother me. Right.

Saran wrap. That's it. Saran wrap. His OCD can't handle it.

I'm gonna fuck you up. I'm gonna fuck you up in wads of balls of saran wrap with something in the center. No, no, no. No, his OCD can't handle it because he can't spread it out smooth.

Right, exactly. Yeah, no, no, no, no. See, I just can't wrap up food. Right.

So if you asked me to wrap up food with cellophane, that'd be a problem. That's what you have to do. Give him cellophane and a chicken leg. The existence of cellophane alone is not gonna like throw me off.

Right. So what if I did like, what if I did something badly wrapped? It's badly wrapped. What if I put a piece of bacon inside some saran wrap and said, "Here, this is for you.

" Oh, that could be a problem. That could be a problem. But I'm thinking, plastic will digest, so I'll just probably... Just eat it, too.

Don't even try to unwrap it. It won't taste the same. His head will know it's bacon, though. His mind will know.

That's right. The heart knows what the heart knows. So what do you want to add from the book? No, on Amazon, they sent me a recommended reading, now that I have read your book, and they recommend that I read the Puppy Training Handbook, How to Raise Your Puppy, and the Cavapoo Handbook, the essential guide for people who have have a poos.

As well as Suicide, Why Your Life Matters. Have what? Cavapoos. I don't know what a Cavapoo is.

Cavapoo? Cavapoos. Yeah. If you're looking for a book full of specific info about Cavapoos, your search is over.

Direct linked from... I don't even know what they are. Are they tasty? I don't know.

But these are the books I should read after reading So Long and Thanks for the Bacon. So why'd you come up with the title? Because for me, the title is like, "Hey, fuck you guys. I made all my money in the cigar industry.

I sold it. " No, no. And you know what? That's what everybody thinks.

It really is just kind of a tribute over to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which is So Long and Thanks for All the Fish. Aha. So that's what you're thinking. Yeah, that's all it was.

But yes, it has very much come out as a, you know, leaving the cigar industry, which I am not, by the way. But, you know, it's very much come out that way. " You know? " Right?

Yeah, he puts it at the end. I did do an audio book, though. The audio book just came out on Saturday, so the audio book is actually me reading the book. Is that on Audible?

Because I was looking for that last week. It is on Audible. It's on Audible, iTunes, and Amazon. I have some credits.

Which Amazon owns Audible, but it feels cool saying three different things. Yeah, which is nice. Right. It makes it sound like it's out there more.

Yeah, that's right. He put that at the end about the bacon thing. Mike Sincron, The Bacon Thing. Mike Sincron, The Bacon Thing.

Mike Sincron, The Bacon Thing. Mike Sincron, The Bacon. Mike Sincron, The Bacon. Mike Sincron, The Bacon.

Mike Sincron, The Bacon. Mike Sincron, The Bacon. Mike Sincron, The Bacon. Mike Sincron, The Bacon.

Mike Sincron, The Bacon.

Mike Sincron, The Bacon. Mike Sincron, The Bacon. Otherwise, there could be a picture of him and a turkey on the back of the book, not a pig.

Him and a turkey. Yeah, there we go. Did he eat the pig afterwards or no? It's just, it's a stunt pig.

That was not my pig. It was just a stunt pig for the photo. It was a stunt pig that was brought in for a photo shoot for Cigar Press Magazine. Nice.

I wonder if we could get the pig on the show. Yeah, they did a big feature on me, and then they were going to print, and then I sold my company, so then he pulled the feature, obviously. So I'm like, well, hey, you're probably not going to use those photos you took last year. So can I just have the one of them being the pig?

If you could send me those, that'd be great. Well, we have to get the pig, sir, to sign off on the photo, and then we'll send it to you. So the next book, Confessions of a Nomad, or some shit like that? No.

Oh, what a good title, though. You might want to write that down, right? Yeah, I might. I'm not going to, but yeah, absolutely good.

No, I have an idea for the next title, but I'm not going to say it until I decide. I actually wasn't even going to write another book, and then, because literally, like, the morning I was done, like, it was done through the editing, it's off to the publisher, it's completely out of my hands, the next morning I woke up and I'm like, "Oh, this is a good title," because I was thinking of the title first, so I've kind of got an idea of a book, but I'll have to talk about it offline. Okay. Very cool.

Very cool. He does the title like Gurkha makes the name of the cigars. Come up with the name of the box first, and then fill it up. Yeah, yeah, well, yeah, because they're going to come with a knife, and a backpack, steak knives.

Next one's coming with coffee mugs. Coffee mugs, absolutely. That's a great idea. All right, well, thanks, Fred, now we hang up on.

Thanks for coming on the show. We appreciate it, Fred. Where can people get the book? I don't know.

You can get it on Amazon. That's a good point. I've plugged it three times on Facebook since it's come out already. Yeah.

It's a free plug-out. Anyway, yeah, you can go to Amazon so long and thanks for off the bacon. And there's digital copies as well and now on Audible. Now on Audible.

There's digital, Audible, I just signed the movie rights literally yesterday. Nice. We won't get to pick on the show now, it's too big. I signed it for one Ellusiana 888 cigar over to a guy at Corona, but you know, hey, close now.

I mean, it's just, a win's a win. You gotta just run with it. Take the W. That's right, that's what I'm thinking.

So there you go. All right, Fred. Well, thank you very much. Thanks, brother.

All right. Thanks, guys. All right, bud. Have a good day.

Take it easy. Bye. There you go. Oh, there we go.

So now we can Facebook message call people. So I don't even need your number. I don't even need your number anymore, people. I have like 5,000 friends on Facebook, so you're all on notice.

Let's see. We don't really want to talk about that. That was good. That was good.

That's it. That's all I got. Oh, no, wait, wait. The video now is going to come out on Wednesdays, not Tuesdays.

We're going to push it back. We're going to push it back a day. Well, unless you and Mark Gordon have worked out some other new deal. That was a great idea.

Some other new deal, we're going to come out on Sundays. Yeah. So, if we do two episodes in one week, then we'll have an extra, and then we can do it that way. Yeah, but then we usually blow that anyways.

How about the Listener of the Week, mister? It's next on the thing here, Michael. Oh. Listener of the week is send underscore the underscore bishop 762.

He gets the gong. Kobe Beef. His last name is not beef, but I'll get you the last name. Okay, give me his real last name.

And shop of the week is Bellacoso Cigars, the new shop on 50 and Mills. Bam. They've pushed back their grand opening date, and it's undisclosed at this time. So sometime in the first part of December, they will be opening, and I will be attending the grand opening.

His last name is Pitre, Pitre, P-I-T-R-E, P-I-T-R-E, P-I-T-R-E, look, here's the way I look at this, the fact of the matter is, nobody's gonna get my last name correct, unless you're Polish, so, and even then, you still got a 50/50 shot, so if I screw up your last name, I apologize, but we're even, so there you go. - But he's a good dude. - He is a good dude. - Send the Bishop is really awesome.

- He started following the show the day, I guess, we decided to make him listener of the week. - Yeah. - And he went back and listened to all the episodes. - The guy is all about Polestani.

He's always promoting it and always smoking it. - Is he in the military or used to be in the military? - I believe he is in the military. - Yes, 'cause he is.

- I believe that he's overseas right now. - Oh. - I feel like Send the Bishop is like a badass name. - Oh, well, he looks like he's a badass to start with, so.

- You know. - It's like, oh, better Send the Bishop. Oh, I gotcha, better send, oh, that's like his code name. Right, so you send in the bishop, and everybody's dead.

Things are getting bad, better send the bishop. He's probably like a sniper or something. Oh. Yeah.

He's a big fella. Pretty cool. I don't wanna make him mad. He seems like an easy-going dude.

Smoked scars. Until he shoots you from three miles away. See, I'd rather have him on my side. That's what I'm saying.

Well, that's what I said. Yeah. I don't wanna make him mad. Right.

He's a very nice man, he looks like. So there you go. Send the Bishop. What was that?

So now Listen to the Week, you get the gong and the head nod, so Listen to the Week is Send the Bishop. Now you have to do the head thing. There you go. Oh, what a circus.

All right, this has been episode 97. All right. I feel like we should call Coop next week. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.

I mean, everybody. Oh, yes. This will go up, well, tomorrow-ish. Yeah, it'll go up tomorrow-ish.

And then, you know, if you could play this for your family and really educate them- On Thanksgiving? On Cigar Entertainment during Thanksgiving. That would be so nice. I mean, yeah, just plug in your Alexa, just turn it on.

Don't even say anything. Just, you know, everybody sits down for dinner and just, hey, Alexa. Just, Alexa, play a Cigar Hustlers podcast. Boom.

And just let it go. And then just, and it's a party, that's Cigar Hustlers podcast. And then, like, what is this? I'm like, listen, just get your turkey.

You get your turkey, just listen to this. Sit down. And when we're done here, we'll go back to football. This Sunday, I'm opening the shop.

I've taken a shift here on Sunday to help Mr. Brousseau out with something he needed to do. So I'm going to be playing this episode Sunday morning. If you want to pop in and ask me questions like, why do you let Michael talk to you like that?

You know, stuff like that through the show. Why didn't you eat at Burned Steakhouse? Why didn't you eat at Burned Steakhouse? It should be the real question.

Well, we'll see what everybody wants to talk about. Where are your balls? Or I'll probably be sitting here cleaning the floors. That'd be good.

You know, the floors clean are always nice. They do that on Sundays out here. Yeah. I feel it might not get done this Sunday.

I'll make Jacob do it when he comes in at three. Oh, so aggressive, Michael. Unaggressive? Come on.

I'd clean the floors if I worked on Sundays. Oh, you did that one Sunday, didn't you? Yeah, that's right. Not above it.

Well, you made somebody else clean it and you took the picture. Not above it. Just like the toilet. Oh, okay.

With all the splash. You know what? You really hurt my feelings when you try and cheapen my efforts. Why?

It's all fun and games, Michael. It's not nice. All fun and games. It's not nice.

Yes, it is. It's very nice. The people enjoy it. All right.

Thanks, everybody. com, you can get this t-shirt. Ooh, it's very nice. Very nice.

Very comfortable t-shirt. Yeah. com backslashescigarhustle. Oh, that'll be in the commercial.

There you go. All right. All right. We're just gonna sign off.

All right, guys. Thank you very much. Give me your funny-ass disclaimer that we started adding. I added to the show.

I actually had people asking about that. Oh, is that for real? I'm like, well, it's funny, but it might be, we don't know, it's probably just better that we have it. Just cover it, just to see why, just to cover your ass.

We just want to make sure that. Just in case we, you know, offend anyone with our comments. Yeah, other than Coop. Coop, we love you.

Coop, we love you, Coop. Yeah, we should call Coop next week. Yeah, let's call him. All right, we'll do that.

All right, Coop, we're gonna call you next week. You've been warned. Okay, bye. Bye.
