Transcript
Welcome to a Cigar Hustler Podcast Episode 504. I'm Mike Palmer, your host, and on today's show, we have Phil, I have Labor Law Info McGuffey, Hello, and my co-host is As always, Mikey is Preston Tuesday, so I'm so excited, Stepan Kavich. Hi, and we have Palmer. I don't like to edit the videos because I'm super busy, got a lot going on, so...
The other day you begged me to leave the opening on. Yeah. The gibberish at the beginning. Uh-huh.
So... Like on his knees or not on his knees? No, no, he wasn't on his knees. Oh, so that's why you did it?
Well, that's why I didn't think to take it off. Okay. So the whole purpose of you doing it now, though, why are you doing the beginning step recording? Well, to put it on Saturdays.
We can't do both? No, you can't do both. I do know that. Alright, well, how much of the opening do you want saved?
Because you specifically mentioned the blurry part made us look unprofessional. So do you want that taken off for the Saturday thing, too? Yeah, you should just be clips of funny stuff. You shouldn't leave just a running thing.
Oh, when I agreed to do it Saturday, I was just going to take the front half of the shows, put them all together as the week goes, and run it on Saturday. Okay, that's fine. You agreed to it. No one asked you to do it.
I understand that. So what did you agree to? So we could do it six days a week. So who did you agree to with it?
Well, that, okay, that was my plan on Saturday, just to cut the front half off, not to edit it and look for different stuff. Okay, so then just... I mean, it's simple to just cut it and every day add a new piece. Okay, so then clip it and call it the front half.
Okay. Agreed to terms. Call it agreed to terms front half. Agreed to terms front half.
Yeah, I don't know who agreed with you. I forget what I called it, but I couldn't do Saturday morning cartoons, you didn't like it, and so I don't remember what it was. Yeah, you did something else. I called it something else.
Something bloopers, because you wanted bloopers in it. In the name. Was it bloopers? I think there were bloopers in the name.
I think that's what you put in the name. Or behind the scenes. I think it's behind the scenes. Oh.
Okay. Alright, in today's show, rapper Offset apparently isn't bulletproof. We have a Nancy Guthrie update. Howard Stern may be the king of all media, but he's not the king of all employees.
Uh-oh. And then in Cigars, Arbor Luciano is back in the news. Craft has shipped and PDR brings it back. Ooh, sounds like a good show today.
Then we have a sandwich-worthy What's the Score? Ooh, knuckle sandwich. But before we get started, Mikey, what are the trending comments? How do we get CHPod swag?
And, well, this is not working now, but what was Preston wearing today? Because he has rescheduled. What you want to do is like and subscribe where you're viewing or listening to the show, if you value the edutainment that we're providing. com for all of our latest swag.
The newest drop is the Master Blender shirt. It is a great shirt. It's the funniest shirt. It's the funniest shirt we've ever made.
Absolutely epic. " I agree, it makes total sense to me. Yeah. Yeah.
Thanks for picking that up, Phil. Because Palmer's now checked out. I'm sorry. Steve sent us something.
He needs approval. Very busy. Very busy. I have a wholesale order for me.
I was hoping it was that one. 215 Inc. says, "I can't wait until Wednesday's show when they yell at each other about the wrong edit that was published. " Of course.
Well, I like the way that turned out. Yeah, it's all Boots' fault. Oh, Phil, it's Phil's fault. Oh, Phil, all Phil.
At least make it Phil. Boots is not part of the show. " Probably also referencing the opening scene. Yes, I'm sure he was.
Thank you for letting us know. We didn't do a mic check today, so we can't tell us tomorrow. And then, this was a long one from TX Southpaw. So, I asked ChatGBT for the name of a man who has self-preservation issues, is a DJ, construction company owner, and makes questionable comments, here are their suggestions, and there's a whole bunch here, but there is, the one that I like the best is Safety First Steve, and no one else's safety is included, so yeah, safety first Steve, and no one else's safety is included, if you want to hear your comments on the show, just comment below, and we may read it off.
So there's that, I'm not saying if it's funny or not, or if it's just a comment or anything, because, you know, Palmer's, he's just a comment. Palmer's very angry. Palmer's anger is rubbing off on me today. Uh-huh.
Yeah. I'm not angry today. Uh-huh. " Oh, well, I said it's already been taken care of.
Oh, you said, "I can't, um, I can't do all of it," or something like that. " I learned how to use the in-program editor on YouTube today, so you can edit it without taking the whole- Really? Yes. So, you trimmed it?
Yes. Oh, look at you. Oh, he's happy again. Yeah, he's happy again.
I'm not happy today. I'm a little tired. The practice yesterday was in the rain, in the cold. Damn, tonight.
And, like, I don't know, I mean, I don't know, we may cancel practice today, but... Like, this week. Next three days. This is the week before PCA.
There's a ton of things going on. Yeah. So. No, uh, no Preston today, or is he coming later?
Uh, well, you know, Preston's a little out of sorts, too, 'cause the season's about to begin, so he's running behind. Mm. Mm. So.
We're doing the best of what we got today. Got it. All right? Yep.
That thing smells burning. It's okay. Probably. Hopefully they have insurance here.
No comments on the, uh, on, oh, I've left I have my sunglasses upstairs, no comments on the on the sparklers did you know did you figure out how to use the glasses no I was just gonna try again today but apparently I'm not wait what were you gonna do today and you didn't do yesterday as far as I mean you tried yesterday what's the score right did you learn something new or just gonna put them on and go meta Facebook live again I was gonna I was gonna say meta go live and then I wasn't gonna speak if If it says, "Hey, I need you to reset the app," I would've reset the app. Yeah. Does that bother you? No.
I thought you would've worked it out before we got here. When? You know, I'm just so busy, Michael. All right.
We're all busy, Michael. Oh, yeah. The difference is, here's the difference. What's the difference?
The difference between your edit mistake and me screwing up the Facebook Live is that Facebook Live falls on me and I have no problem looking like an idiot. - But I didn't make-- - You have a problem looking like an idiot? - Well, no, again, you don't let me finish, you don't let me finish. The difference is that your mistake makes all three of us look like an idiot.
- Why does he do that? Everybody knows it was my fault. The guy even said it in the comment that, well, he blamed him, but everybody knows I do the edit. - Yes, however, you don't know what's said at that point or anything like that, and it's just kind of up, right?
So, I mean, lucky for us that it's pretty common. We talk about the same things kind of when we're mic'd up And when we're not mic'd up, right now, um, uh, however, you are destined to become the two guys influencer that, that, that, that was part of, uh, the, the opening. You're not gonna let us do that. Yeah, no, I mean, you, you, you could go, go ahead, you could do it, but it's not part of this podcast.
I wanted it to be part of the show, not me personally. Well, we personally, we intentionally don't do anything in that realm for a reason. We could. We can't.
We can't we? Because YouTube says otherwise. Oh, well, I mean, we could do it would not be on the show. We could do it on Instagram is the show.
You can do it. Go do it. You're my blessing. No, I don't want to do it by myself.
It's no fun. It'd be more fun with the three of us. Okay. Yeah, we're a team.
We should get paid as a team so we're super expensive. Yeah, we should get paid as a team. And there's three of us. The three of us.
An influencer might just mean we give you free cigars, I mean, that's not gonna... You never know. It's not gonna help us any here. What?
Palmer, stop not taking the things. What's wrong with free cigars? Nothing wrong with free cigars, but that doesn't pay any bills. It's true.
Yeah, it does. What are you talking about? We spend money all the time upstairs. David Garofalo is indirectly affecting sales upstairs by infiltrating the podcast.
Oh, look at that. Okay. Are we ready to go? Oh, I thought we've been going.
Oh, yeah. How about? Hit the calendar link below. If you're going to the show, we've got one week left before we're out there, so if you're a retailer, you do business with us, you want to do business with us, if you're a customer and you think your retailer needs to do business with us, hit the calendar link below.
We're going to give you a free Winged Czar's hat for the appointment, and we're going to talk about Postanya. So if you're a media guy and you want to set up an interview, you can hit the Kaling link below as well, so, and we will also give you a free hat because we appreciate your time. What else am I forgetting? I'm forgetting something else.
Like and subscribe. There was one other thing that I added in the last one. " Boots, you look great today, and so do you, Palmer? Phil looks great.
Oh, yeah, Phil. Palmer, you look great today. There was something else. I'm just fatigued.
I'm very fatigued. The Red Bull? What? Oh, there's Red Bull.
I have, oh, yeah, I've already ripped it. Okay. I'm gonna have to jump to the bigger ounces. Eight and a half's not cutting it anymore.
Feeling the resistance. Maybe a new brand. Do you build up an immunity after a while? You know what it is?
You gotta give caffeine a break is the problem. Oh. Mm-hmm. I don't know how to do that.
Yeah, I wouldn't know how to do that either. So. I do stop coffee sometimes, but I just supplement with something else. Or something else, caffeine?
Caffeine? Yeah. Cocaine? I wish we had some.
That's illegal. Some days. We don't do those things. That's not nice.
It's all right, Palmer. I can still wish, just not doing it. Yeah. You left that life.
What was the other guy? What was the Espinosa guy you were talking about? Bahia cigar or something like that? Bahica?
Oh, yeah. What happened? I don't know. Cocaine?
I don't know. Cocaine. All right. Go ahead.
Let's get going. Pepper Offset, anybody know who Offset is? Yeah. I'm not familiar with this gentleman.
Cardi B's baby daddy. Yeah, one of Cardi B's baby daddies. He got hospitalized after being shot down by the casino in Miami. Hard Rock?
Hard Rock, yes. Okay. The guitar. The guitar?
So, Fort Lauderdale? Yes. But they say Miami because it's probably better for media? I would imagine, yeah.
So he was shot last night in front of a casino, according to representatives who said he is stable condition, he's fine. Okay. His real name, do you know his real name? Jonathan.
Onset. I understand why he changed it to Offset. Oh, okay, let's guess. Go ahead.
Doctavius. Wait, wait, there's three. Three names. Okay.
Doctavius. Jones, Xavier. This really can't be his life. He can't even get it out.
What? He can't even get out the full... I know, I get it. He's like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
This is Sparta. Michael, you'd like to guess? No. I don't.
Oh, so I win because he gives up. Yeah. Yeah, you win. Hit the sparklers.
Hit the sparklers. Sparklers are only hit when I win. Chiari, Kendrell, Cephas. All right.
Cephas. I'm sure you're mispronouncing most of those. Well, maybe the first name. Kendrell's pretty easy.
Cephas. C-E-P-H-U-S. Cephas. Oh, stop for a sec.
You're super mumbled. Mumbled or poppy? No, it's like, it's going... Where's your phone?
Is there anything close to the... My phone's on the other table. Maybe it's your watch. Oh, get out of here.
Take your watch. Is it still doing it? Yeah, it's only you. Test, test, test.
It's still doing it. Did you set my... I'm telling you, it's a watch. It's a watch that's sitting right by the video S.
You're doing perfectly fine. I'm doing perfectly fine. Okay, how about now? Yeah, now it's good.
Now it's good. Now it's good? Yeah. See, look, now your watch is away from it.
Now it's back there. Now it's back there. Is it bubbling again? No.
Drink your Red Bull. Drink your Red Bull. Just be happy I haven't used one three-head yet. What?
Nahomo. What do you think? I don't know what he's talking about. Shhh!
Oh, sorry. Great, I'm gonna cut that out. What's a three-head? Where all three of our heads are up on the screen.
Oh, okay. All right, he was formerly, he was married to Cardi B. Not just the baby daddy, but he was married. Oh.
But he had three children. With her? Yes. Wow.
Damn. He's a member of the chart-topping rap trio, Migos. Migos. I should have let you say it.
You would have said Migos. No, I said Migos, but, you know, you interrupted, but that's okay. I apologize. It happened, it happened.
I'm sorry. He knows the word Migos. Yeah, I know Migos. If there was an A in front of him, it'd be a Migos.
Name one song from Migos. Oh, I don't know the group, I know the word. Okay. Tequila.
I don't know who this guy is, let alone the name of his group, but they disbanded the group because one of them got shot back in 2022. Right. So he was shot again, is it the same one? No, no.
That one was killed, I believe. He died? Fatal shooting, yes. Oh, boy.
Oh, of Takeoff, the guy's name is Takeoff. Takeoff and Offset? Well, Offset got shot, Takeoff is dead. Right.
Now, there's just one guy left. Are they looking at him as maybe the perpetrator? Offset's still alive. Fatal shooting of rapper Takeoff.
Yeah, Offset is still alive. He got shot last night. Right. Takeoff got shot in 2022.
Okay. He's dead. Okay. Now there's one guy left.
Well, but Offset's still alive. One guy left that has not been shot. You don't know that. Maybe he was shot.
Good point. Maybe he has been. And then what's his name? Offset or Safeoff or?
Oh, two people have been detained. And another person sustained injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. Hmm. They did not identify the name of the person who was detained.
So what happened? No idea? No, they're not saying, they're just saying there was a shooting. Just some random...
He walked out... I don't know if it was two shots. Yeah. Who knows?
Well, if you know exactly that it was two shots, the police may have some questions for you. Quavo is the guy that has not been. Quavo is bullet-free? As far as we know at this point.
Everybody likes Quavo. Why is he in the group? Quavo? He doesn't have the name "Off" in anything.
Offset, Takeoff, Quavo. Yeah, it really doesn't fit. Yeah, what was he? That's probably why he hasn't been shot.
Maybe. They don't know he's a real member. Oh, their 2013 hit was Versace. Versace, Versace, Versace, Versace, Versace, Versace, Versace.
Oh, they got a Grammy. Look at that. Yeah. They actually have some good songs.
They've never heard of them before. Yeah, I know, because their name isn't... It's just not my kind of music. Garth Brooks.
Garth Brooks. I know who Garth Brooks is. Yeah. Waylon Jennings.
I know who... Waylon Jennings. I think he's dead. Probably.
Yeah. Will Rogers. Oh, they were having a private party in 2022 at a bowling alley when takeoff was shot. Who has a private party at a bowling alley when you're a top producing rap artist?
Seems a little odd, doesn't it? The Migos do. Yeah. In Houston, no less.
- There's nowhere else to go? - Maybe it's a dope bowling alley. - Yeah, maybe it's a rap-friendly bowling alley. - Apparently it's really popping.
- Yeah. - Well, it was back in 2020, too. Shooting good time? - Shooting good time.
- Right. Okay. Sorry, my throat's a little jacked today. - Yeah, I see that.
- That's all right. - I'm trying. - Yeah. - All right, we got a Nancy Guthrie update.
- Okay. - Yesterday was the first day that her daughter was returned to television. - Oh, yeah. She wore a yellow dress like they do the yellow ribbons for her mother.
Oh, and symbolism for her mom. Symbolism for her missing mother. Okay. So there's been a couple of new notes that have been leaked.
First note said, "We didn't do it, but we know who did. " What's a bitcoin worth now? Is that a big amount of money? 65,000.
Yeah, it's a little discounted right now, it's about 65k. So let's say, "Give us one bitcoin, we'll tell you who did it. We have seen her in Sonora, Mexico. She's in Mexico.
Yes. I told you guys. Give us half now. We'll tell you exactly where you can find the body.
They say she's dead. Okay. And then you give us the other half. 30 G's on the gamble?
I don't know. Yeah, I mean, apparently it was a while ago they got the first note, they got the second note. You guys are stupid. We told you we know where she is.
She's not alive anymore. Now it's too late. - Oh, they said before the previous note? - They didn't say she was dead before, the second note says she's dead.
" - Right, we have seen her in Sonora, Mexico. Which is right across the border from where she used to live. - Yeah, I mean, you know, this is kinda, double. This is kinda troubling.
Like, if you knew where she was, why don't you just give out the information? - Because they're gonna have to run after they tell and they wanna be able to start a new life and get away from the people who have it. For $65,000? Apparently, that's all they need.
They have a very simple life. Well, in Mexico, that might go a lot further. Yeah, where are they going to run to the next city over in Mexico? Right, the Tijuana.
They know fighters here. And their intel was disregarded? Yes, the police and the feds have disregarded it as not true. " How do you disregard that as an agency?
Are there still repercussions with this, with these people if they give out the intel? Oh, you told them? Yeah, I mean, if you say who the kidnappers are, I imagine they're bad people in Mexico. I'm sure they're cartel.
I didn't want to say the word. Oh, is that, does that trigger? You didn't want to say the word? No.
You have reason, you think that they're cartel? They might be fans of the show. Oh, well, if you guys could let us know, so that way we get some Bitcoin. All of a sudden, no more San Andreas for us.
Right. Yeah. Stop. Shut it down.
Right. They say they can deliver them on a silver platter. They use that word in some parentheses. Wow.
We will tell you exactly what Pedro's name is. Who said that? Oh, damn. Damn it!
Okay, a quarter of a Bitcoin. A quarter of a Bitcoin. Yes, I gave you the first name. I'll give you the second, the last name, the surname.
Okay, well. You'll never guess it. Yeah, I mean, listen. Obviously, the Guthrie family wants the body, right?
I imagine they're like closure of some sort. Yeah. It would be the not knowing, I imagine, would be the worst part. Yeah, I agree.
Not knowing is definitely rough. And then, you know, not to mention though, I mean, what are the repercussions gonna be for the alleged kidnappers? No, the kidnapper. Oh.
Yeah, I mean, they're in Mexico. What, are we gonna go drag 'em back? I mean, I'm sure that, you know, we just got some guy out of Venezuela. We might.
Usually pop right over. We might. I don't know. The Iranian thing is heating up.
Yeah, tomorrow's it. Supposedly, it's either come to terms. Yeah, they're running out of time on the deadline. Oh, we're gonna level you.
Send you back to the Stone Age where you belong. Yeah, something like that. That's intense. Yeah, especially on a rainy day.
And supposedly I heard that North Korea has backed off and no longer supporting Iran. Well, yeah. I mean, they're like, hmm, they're getting a little hot over there. Yeah, did you see all those F-15s?
It was funny, like, you know what, I remember when, no, I did not, go ahead. No, they showed on the news, they were putting them all in the aircraft carrier. Gotcha. I've seen footage of them flying those F-15s, I mean, it's unbelievable.
How are they shooting them down? Maybe a lucky shot. A lucky shot? If you ask Trump, they say they just got lucky.
Sometimes you get lucky in war. I mean, I saw one where the planes are going, you know, like this, and then this guy just pulls up and goes this way. America! With the plane pointing up, and the other guy's still going straight.
I'm like, how do they hit these? That's wild. I also saw, so... I don't know if that's an F-15.
I think that's a different... Well, it could be a different, I don't know. Sorry, I didn't... That was from Top Gun Maverick.
No, no, it wasn't. " That's kind of what's happening. " "He bad, man. " Yeah, about that.
" Did you see what they did? They completely came in here undetected, killed all your guys, all 49 of them, and they escaped. Three times now. I don't want to die.
I don't want to unalive. Okay, yeah, supposedly for that rescue, we fed them false information, so they're all looking over here, but we just pop in over here and pick the guy. Is that what happened? Yeah.
Really? The CIA leaked false information of where he was. So then Iran's over here looking by the refrigerator, and then he's over here by the TVs. Can you imagine?
He's brilliant. Can you imagine all of them sitting around a screen? We got him! We got him!
We know right where he is! Look at him, look at him! This way, Boos, this way! This way, this way!
Meantime, the guy's over here in a crevice with his gun. He climbed 7,000 feet up the side of a mountain or something with a busted leg or something like that. Oh, this is definitely a Mark Wahlberg movie. This is definitely a Mark Wahlberg movie.
Oh, yeah, yeah, Mark Wahlberg, right. " Yeah. Watch this. Did you see my other one?
Can you, I just, like, think about the, uh, the, I could do a good limp. Think about the military intelligence. Watch this, watch this. The bloop.
They're moving towards the bloop. No, no. It's even better. Hey, sir, I think we should just use this fake information and put it over here for them.
That'll never work. All right. That's stupid. Watch this.
There's no way they're gonna fall for this. Make it look like a radio came out over there. These guys are beepers, they're all in the same building, and now they all fell for the old whoop-dee-doo trick. The whoop-dee-doo.
Yeah. Yeah, they got whoop-dee-dooed. I don't know if it's a true story or not. I saw that a drone flew over him for 48 hours.
Anybody got, it said three meters, I don't know if that's true or not. Any Iranian got within three meters of the guy, they just killed them with the drone. Like, shot a little rocket and just blew the guy up. Right.
It's like, hey, there's a bunch of dead bodies over here. I'm willing to bet that we're close. No, no, no, no. The information says.
Look at the map. It says it's over there. He's by the Burger King. They all like the new arch.
Oh, I saw a Ronald McDonald on sale on Amazon. We should get it. Not Amazon, on eBay. Oh, I saw it.
I put it upstairs in front of the shop. A statue? Yeah, the statue is like they used to have out in front of McDonald's. It's expensive.
Yeah, it's got to be expensive. Two grand? Yeah, I saw it on Facebook Marketplace. Oh, did you?
Yeah. Maybe that's where I saw Facebook Marketplace. Yeah, so like, two grand is short money? Yeah, I mean...
Well, I mean, it's not like it's $20,000. Yeah, I mean, like, we got sparklers now, so... Right, we got sparklers now that may or may not work. Why don't we drop Ronald McDonald in the podcast?
Not the show, the shop, but what's it gonna do? It won't do us nothing. You'd have to put him in a chair if he's gonna do for the show. " He's very emotional right now.
W.? Yeah, he's a soft touch. Yeah? Aww.
W. " We could put it in his chair, right? Yeah, in honor of him, because you know, he's a McDonald's. Wait, wait, wait.
W. was probably one of the first customers ever at this store, and he recently passed. So, that's kind of what we're talking about. Oh, man.
No one told me. Are you serious? Oh, really? You know, nobody told you?
Oh, man. You didn't know? He read-- Greg rattled off his name on the list of people to tell. Apparently, he didn't go through the list yet.
No, no, no. Serious? Yeah, man, that's sad. Sunday.
It happened Sunday. He passed on Easter Sunday. Yeah. Yeah.
He was a good dude. He was. One of the best. Very nice.
I mean, he was a curmudgeon-y old bastard. But we loved him. Right. We loved him.
God forbid you sit in his chair. - He'll kick you right out. - We should put one of those name plaques on the back of that chair. - Yeah?
- In memory of? - Well, those chairs are gonna be going away soon. - Oh, you're talking about doing one of those? - No, like that plaque on the back of those.
- But those chairs are eventually gonna be renovated. - Yeah, we'll put it on the new one. - Okay. - I mean, we have a guy now that makes metal things.
- All right, and then we'll put Ronald McDonald next to him. - Oh, that'd be nice. - Yeah. - Okay.
- And Pete's chair. - Now we've gone off the rails here 26 minutes in. - Oh. All right, well, there's a quote from the letter.
The letter said, "It's unbelievable that millions have been wasted, And yet, here I am, willing to deliver them on a silver platter since the 11th of February for one bitcoin, but I'm disregarded as a scam. They are free and the case is frozen, but the egos remain hot when it comes to me. Arrogance at its finest. So the guy's pissed off that they don't believe it.
That was on the second letter. I think that's great, you know. Here I am, $65,000, you're gonna have it. I mean, there's gotta be some negligence involved in this case.
- Well, you saw the video with the sheriff. - You would assume, right? - Because-- - Barney Fife. - Yeah, I mean, there's just no way.
- Sorry. - What are you laughing? - Bitcoin price is going down, now it's a deal. - Now you get it on discount.
- Right, it's gone down since the original note, so now the guy's settling for less. - Wild, man. - Okay. - They go for the info for half a Bitcoin, and then when there's a public arrest, you give me the other half.
Disregarded. Mm. Mm. Okay.
All right. Moving on. Howard Stern's former assistant is suing him, claiming a famed radio personality created a hostile workplace. I could see that.
Continue. All right. The lady's name is Leslie Kuhn. She began working for him in 2022 as his office manager at his Cirrus XM.
Mm-hmm. Then he told her, "We're gonna give you a raise. You can be my personal assistant and my wife's personal assistant. His wife runs a some type of rescue dog and animal dogs and cats.
Yeah. So now he's the now she's the executive assistant, but her raise. Well, first, how much do you think she was making? For the serious ex-m job?
100k a year. Phil? I don't know, $120,000. $100,000.
Okay. All right. Then in 2025, they gave her a raise to take on this new job, so three years later. Yeah.
To take on all this other stuff. Okay, what's the new rate? $105,000. Bill?
$90,000. It went down? Well, I would just, you know. You're doing such a great job.
We're paying you. You know what? We're going to take... You said hostile.
Take 10k off the top here. Maybe it was the same guy that put the information out for the Iranians. Hey, watch this. Now she's making $265,000.
Okay. It's happening again. With an $80,000 bonus to move closer to them in the Hamptons. Okay.
Your voice is doing the thing again. Me again? Yep, just you. What is going on?
Probably. See where your watch is? Look where your watch is, back in that spot. Okay.
Yes! It's not my watch. You think I can get him to take his shirt off, too? We don't want that.
It's your gray shirt. Nobody wants that. So, but then in 2026, they fired her. Is it still bubbly?
No, it's good now. So, in 2026, they fire her. Yeah, he moved the watch. Oh, he took it off.
Yeah. They fired her for alleged misconduct. I don't know why you're so angry. I'm just trying to help.
I hope it goes bubbly again. I hope it doesn't. What? " Oh.
Is it bubbly? Is it doing the ticking, or is it? No, it's like your voice is like, yeah, it's like the story like that, yeah. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Picture watch. So there's no details of what she did. Yeah, so what's the, what's the lawsuit about? I don't understand.
Well, she's suing them for a hostile work environment because they fired her for something she didn't do, so she claims. Okay, allegedly. Yes, and it's affecting her ability to find another job. Well, I mean, you were making 200 and something a year.
- Yeah, over $200,000 to run a dog shelter and make sure Howard Stern had his hot water and lemon or whatever. - Look, there's no way, there's gotta be a legitimate reason, you know? - Well, they gave her the raise in December of 2025. - Okay.
- And then in 2026, they fired her. - Oh, too much money. Is that what you're saying? - I have no idea.
They're not saying why. - We're paying her a quarter of a million dollars a year. The wife, Beth, has been listed as one of the main reasons for the hostile work environment. Oh.
So maybe this Leslie lady, maybe she's attractive, and Beth is getting a little up in age now, and maybe she's- I don't think that's the case. I'm just looking at options. I understand. You know, look, a personal assistant has got to be tough, right?
Oh, sure. You've got to flow with the person. And now it's like 24 hours a day, because now she's just moved in with them. Yeah.
You've only had, you've probably only had some experience with Howard Stern's wife, Beth, kind of like remotely just kind of interacting. Right. And now all of a sudden, you're her personal assistant? Right.
It could be oil and water, right? Right. And then Beth's like-- Yeah, maybe she's just not a nice person. What?
Beth Stern. I don't think, I don't think that's the case. - I think that, you know, realistically, again, there has to be a level of synergy there, you know, they gotta mesh. - Sure.
- And maybe you meshed well with Stern, with Howard, right? But adding another variable, maybe you don't mesh with her. Like, hey, listen, this isn't working out. So maybe she went in and said, hey, I don't know, I can't, this isn't, you know, we're not on the same page here.
So, you know, well then at that point, then I need you to revert back to just becoming my personal assistant. Okay, well, what about the extra 100 G's? Well, that's gone. Right?
Right. So... Could be. Yeah, it's...
I'm not speaking from experience. And we don't pay our assistant that much. So they just lost their assistant? Yeah, but...
They lost their assistant? You lost your assistant? Yeah, Friday. Well, she's leaving Friday.
Hostile work environment? Hostile work environment? No, no, no. Is it because of Tia's dog and cat rescue?
Potential lawsuit? No, she wants to have another kid and we can't give her medical insurance for that. I gotcha. That's not where I thought he was going to go.
She wants another kid and I just can't give it to her. I just can't provide it. I got a new one coming. I have 85 children at this point.
Whoever takes that spot, I mean, it is difficult because it's really an assistant for Tia, but I come, you know, I'm the extra baggage. Oh, he's Beth Stern. Oh, yeah, you're Beth in this scenario. Yeah, it's a little rough when I walk in and I turn on, you know, Biggie Smalls and I got to work with, you know, And with that music, and then...
And I need my Twinkies and my Hostess Cakes, and... Well, I do ask them to order food at times, yeah. I need a driver. A driver?
What the hell do you need a driver for? He gets anxiety. Sometimes, yeah. Long drives?
Yeah. I have to drive to the store. I need Cheetos. Can you drive me?
No, they have Cheetos in my office. Why aren't the Cheetos here? Yeah, why are we out of Cheetos, for God's sakes? There was one time I was really hungry, and I was like...
I was like, there's a reason why we keep the chips stocked here, 'cause if I get super hungry, I could just grab some chips. Can you imagine, can you imagine signing up as a personal assistant for his wife, and then realizing that he comes along with the deal? Right, that he can tell me to do things too. And that he comes in like a man baby, bitching about Cheetos not being there, and then requesting someone to drive him to go get the Cheetos.
Tia's trying to get permits pulled and things for the jobs, and I had to stop Tia. I'm sorry, he wanted Cheetos. What do you want me to do? I don't know why we can't keep a personal assistant here.
" They're getting paid. I'm nice to these people and everything. I'm giving you money. Is it $265,000?
No, not even close. Not even close. It's more like $65. If it was paying that much, I'd take the job.
You can't get your own Cheetos. Yeah, you can do that. We've already proven that fact. The poor lady's quitting over it.
Do you think he has like a king crown as soon as he walks in? Yeah. Like it's probably held by the door. He goes back into the glass office and changes clothes and things and acts like there's a solid wall there.
Unrobe me so I can go through my day. I have to pee. Who's coming with? Someone hold this.
I like to pee like this. My wipeys, where are the dude wipes? There are no more dude wipes in the bathroom. Oh, you don't want to go in the bathroom with me?
No problem. I pissed on the floor. You will be cleaning that. Hey, uh...
Give it up that dog. Hey, Phil, I just want you to know the personal assistant quit. Why? Why?
Yeah, seriously. I really liked her. Yeah, she seems so nice. Oh my God, that's awesome.
That was good. I needed that after the bad news you guys gave me. Yeah. Uh, JW has passed.
JW has passed. Let me bring that back. Uh, don't. Get on.
They unplugged him, too, if that helps you. Stop! You know what? No, stop.
Did they? Look. Yes. Look.
You know what? Here's the harsh, harsh reality. People die. You have a hundred percent chance of dying.
I understand. No one gets out alive, right? Yeah. And, you know, I guess the sad part is, especially for you and I, is that we've had some experience.
You had some experience of people passing. You, on the other hand, have not, have not. Well, that's not true, because you recently had one. Two, three, actually.
Three? Yeah. Did your mother tell you they just went to go live at a farm? Tony, my Uncle Greg, and then Tia's dad's girlfriend.
She's kind of like Tia's stepmom. That one doesn't count. The blonde lady? Oh, she's not blonde, she's definitely white haired.
She passed? No, no, no, her son. Oh. Her son passed.
She's like seven times removed. Well, I used to hang out with him at the get together. I mean, that sucks. " Yeah.
" Yeah. No, not her son, her son's girlfriend's brother. Oh. Oh, okay.
I feel so bad. Tony is the big one for you. Yeah. That was the big, that was your biggest, I would say, as far as, you know, experience Yeah.
I mean, my uncle Greg was my favorite uncle. Was he? Yeah. You fired him.
No, I had to. Well, things happen. I had to get him away. Yeah.
Because I didn't want to hate him. Because he was. I mean, he was like an uncle when I was a little kid. I was like, oh man, I can't wait to go to grandma's because Uncle Greg's there.
Do you think uncles kind of disappoint you as you get older? Once you kind of get to know them a little more, they're no longer the fun uncle? No, he was always a fun uncle. I mean, no, no, I don't agree with that.
I mean, he was always fun. I didn't say that it was, I was just asking. No, I think, I think you understand like some of the things that they do, but no, they don't disappoint me. Yeah.
Did you have a funcle? Uh, no. No fun uncle? Uh, we weren't close with the outlying family because we moved so much.
- Right. No cool aunt? - Nope. Well, yeah, but that's the one my mother doesn't talk to.
- And now we understand why. - Right. Yeah, I don't blame my aunt. I don't know.
- Maybe you should call her. - I talked to her through her daughter, my cousin. - Yeah? - Yeah, we have, the word is, friended each other on Facebook, and we chat now and then.
- Gotcha. I feel like you missed out. - Catch up everybody. Yeah, I do too.
Like, Adrian's family's real close, and we see all her relatives, you know, you go to one place, and 75 different relatives show up, and I'm like, who was that? I haven't even met that one before. Yeah. You know, Grandma, my dad's parents would come visit once in a great while when we were kids, and we'd go to Tennessee once in a great while and visit, you know, then you'd go house to house.
But as a kid, you know, you'd go house to house, and then, really, you're just sitting there where the grown-ups talk, and they just look at you. Minimal interaction. Tell the cousins show up, then you all go and play, then you get in trouble for being allowed. Yeah, shh!
Yeah, shh! Stop that, what are you doing? Right. You think you'd be closer with your brother once you came to that realization.
We don't like each other. You don't have a brother? Yeah, I have an older brother. Does he look like you?
Uh, but bigger. Not fatter, he's just bigger. He's a biker. Biker and a cop.
You were a biker. Yeah. Riding through this world. Where is he a police officer?
Pinellas County. Pinellas or Pine Hills? Pinellas, Pinellas, however you say it. Pinellas, where's Pinellas?
He's a resource officer now. That's like in, Pinellas is like the middle of nowhere. So that's like schools? Yeah, he used to be the guy, if you beat your child, he came and took them from you.
Right. Oh, like a DCF cop? Yeah. " Right.
Or my dead body. Right. You can arrange that. Hmm.
Like Kindergarten Cop, you hit him, I hit you. Yeah. Okay, moving on, 40 minutes now. All right, in the cigar news, unless you have a video for us today, Michael, what do you have to say?
Listen, I feel the pressure every day for the video, every day for the video. Fire the sparklers! Yesterday's video was neat, once I could listen to the audio. Uh, did this, what is it, the revert?
I wanted to revert. OK, it looks fine. I saw this last night and it popped back up again, so I was like, OK, we're going to play this. So, it's a video at Sam's Club, a lady is going to get some chicken, and you can see how this unfolds.
Did we turn the volume down again? Yeah, that's fine, and then you can play it later. Oh, it didn't. Oh, how nasty.
Does she not like the lady behind her? I don't know. Did you send it to Palmer? Weird.
Yeah, I sent it to the both of you. Did you not get it? Nope. And it was the lady with the camera.
What's that? It was the lady with the camera who got the chicken taken from her. Yeah. I think she had like metas on or something.
She had to be recording. The blonde, or the lady in the pink, did she say, 'cause she, they had an interaction. " Like, what is that about? She can go fast at Costco.
It's Sam's. Sam's, sorry. You gotta fight that out? Like, what's going on here?
What are we doing? Yeah. That seems mean. I mean, there wasn't really a line.
Yeah, he just could have sat tight, and then another batch would have came out, or whatever, like, I mean, the guy just kind of dropped it over there. " Right, he's just throwing them on the shelf. Yeah. Maybe the other one was her friend.
Had to have been something like that. Something she knew or something? That was so, but that was-- Hey, Nancy, take this one. I mean, my God, something else had to happen before that.
Somebody. I would bet. Maybe she sniped her on a sample or something with a cookie. Ooh, a sample sniping?
Yeah. - What do you think happened beforehand? Like, how does that happen? - Um, I don't know.
I have a brain block right now. I'm sorry, guys. - He's just taking it all in. He's just reflecting on the demise of everybody.
- Wow. - I don't know. I didn't see anything wrong in the video. What happened?
- The lady with the camera went to go get chicken, And the other lady took it. The one with the pink. And slid it over to the right so that she couldn't get it. Yeah, the lady with the pink gave her chicken, gave the camera chicken lady somebody else's chicken.
I mean, she legit had her hand on it, and she said, "Nope," and slid it. Oh, not for you. And then smiles at her. Yeah.
" Oh. " I don't know, she probably like cut her off with her cart or something. Could be. Could be a cart problem.
It really is kind of hard to tell who's in the right there. And that's... Right, without knowing what happened before. - Yeah.
- Right, maybe she did do something to justify the taking of the chicken. - Yeah, because, I'm sure I talked about this before, whenever I had my parking space, and people would park there, I would block them. - What parking space? - And your parking space where?
- Where did you have the parking space? - I used to have a parking, so at the auction for the school, I would always buy the front parking space for the early learning center when Teddy was there. And then people had said my name on it and people would pull up because they're going to run in and out and just block and they would park in the spot. So I would just move behind them and block them.
" - You shouldn't have been in my spot. - You know what, Mr. Mike? Jesus is watching.
- Had I parked in my spot, we wouldn't be having this problem. - Yeah, like-- - Wow. - Yeah, well, I don't even-- - We've never heard this before. - Really?
- Yeah. - Yeah, well, yeah, I was like, well, you know-- You have your own parking spot, and you coach all her teams? It was annual, and when she moved out, when she leveled up to the school, I didn't get the one by the school. I didn't want that one.
Because that one's even worse. So like at ELC, I can block that spot and not jam up traffic. If somebody were to take your spot at the school, if you block that spot, you're gonna jam up traffic, and I'm just not that, I'm not at that level. I haven't got that upset yet.
You know? So yeah, no, I'd block her, I'd block 'em. Just be prepared for whoever it is. Now, if I had blocked a person, and like a pregnant lady came out, I would have felt terrible.
I'm like, you know what, you just take my spot, no problem. But it was always like some dude. What about a grandparent? Nah.
Veteran? Nah. Handicap? What type of handicap?
A walking handicap. They're struggling to walk? Yeah. Yeah, you'd still block them?
No, if I blocked them, I'm like, you know what, I'm sorry. Sorry, I didn't realize. You know what, if I see your car again, you can just take the spot. But like veterans so broad.
S. Navy. I was on the USS Constitution or something. It's like, well, I'm a veteran.
All right, well, what did you do? You know, like, I was a mechanic in the kitchen. I was a mechanic at Fort Bragg. I'm like, okay.
I can make mashed taters for 75,000 people. I used to cook chicken. Like, I'm like, oh, okay. Like, I don't know, like, like, where's the line here?
You know what I mean? So it just can't be blanketing for me, you know? If I saw a license plate disabled vet, I'd consider it. Like, maybe I don't block that guy, right?
But I'd ask more questions later, because I know plenty of people that are disabled, and it's like, you're fine, dude. Like, we're all in pain. You're not in the legitimate pain that a disabled veteran actually did. As a matter of fact, if I was a disabled veteran and I saw you walking around, I'd be pissed off, right?
Like, you know, screw this guy. I got three bullets in me that they couldn't remove, right, for whatever reason, and you have neck pain. Like, you know, what are we doing? It's a lot of neck pain.
It really hurts. We're all in neck pain. If you're 40-plus, you're in neck pain. You're in all sorts of pain.
Yeah. Well, when you're, you know, putting 500 pounds on your shoulders and squatting it, yeah. Yeah, that's usually not good. It's sort of so conflicted.
Well, you don't do that anymore. Are you still in the intra or something? Don't need to blunt, don't need to do that. Yeah, do we blunt that up?
Ex-nay, low suit. No, I've actually, I've been slowly trying to get back to that, to the squats. Yeah. So it's over then.
Oh, that's long gone. But, it's still not the same, I'm still not the same. Right. No, pain and suffering, never the same, should you go back?
No, it doesn't work that way. It doesn't work that way. It just does, we did a story last week, a guy's going back every six months doing somebody. Oh, it was yellow booty guy.
Bill Cosme gets through. The sexual allegations. Thanks. The jello pudding guy.
It's Bill Cosme. Bill Cosme. Bill Cosme. Bill Cosme.
Bill Cosme. Okay. All right. Oh, good.
Greg is approving orders. Nice. All right, our buddy Luciano's back in the news. Okay.
Luciano the Maker is coming in late June. Okay. So, apparently he's still with Constella's group. Okay.
Luciano Cigars has announced a new core line that will be showing off at the upcoming PCA 2026 PCA convention and trade show, it is called Luciano the Maker, new core line that goes along with Luciano the Dreamer, and Luciano was the other one, ooh, he's vice president of the Constella USA, ooh, extinction is often overlooked, let's see, the maker was developed with that in mind, I'm trying to find what the other cigars were, all right, this cigar is a This is a Habano Corojo 99 wrapper from an undisclosed country. Okay. Can't say where I got this tobacco from. All right.
Ecuador and Sumatra seed and Mexican Senadores binders and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, creating what the company says is a medium to full-bodied cigar. Okay. The cigars are made at, anybody want to guess? Constella Group?
A. in Nicaragua. Oh. So he has another factory.
Oh, look at that. Wow. 5x54. You could guess the price of either one.
I have both. Phil? Obviously, they're different. Um, five finger discount.
No, not much. Oh, I didn't know if we're going with the theme here. Uh, twelve dollars. That's probably close.
I'm gonna say fourteen. Twelve seventy-five or twelve ninety-five. Yeah. All right, one both.
Charlie, if you're watching, you have a typo. 75. Uh-oh. And 12,95, not 12 points.
I would correct him, but he's been asking me for a press release, and I haven't delivered that. I was going to ask you about that this morning. I'm going to try and get that done today. Luciano the Maker is the largest, the latest installment in Sirius Cigars that explores the human themes that dated back to July 2019.
Oh, for Luciano the Traveler, and Luciano the Dreamer, now he is Luciano the Maker. Nice. Okay. Moving on.
Uh, yep, I'm trying to... Craft 2026 heads to stores as of yesterday! Yay! About six weeks later than planned, Craft 2026 has been released.
Today, April 6th, Roma Craft Tobacco is shipping Craft 2026, The latest in its flagship craft brand. The 2026 measures a 5x60, though each 10 count box features 10 different looking cigars. It's only 10 different cigars, gentlemen, we were wrong before. Yes, not everyone is different.
Right, not 10,000 different cigars, just 10 different cigars. It's not like an Andean bear. Right. Craft series?
What? You know what Andean bear is? Andean, a bear from Andean. Kind of, yeah.
All right. But you want to know what makes them so different? They're all different? They're all different.
Oh. Do you want to know why they're different? Because they're from Andean. No, they're spectacles.
They're glasses? Around their eyes, they call them spectacles. Oh. And they're all different patches and colors.
Oh, yeah. It's like fingerprints for them. Oh. Yeah.
I love that. They sound like 10 and 10. You know, zebras the same way? They're all striped different?
They're all striped different? Yeah. You know, the kangaroo has three vaginas? Yes.
You like to drop that one out, don't you? That's one of my favorite ones. Favorite thing, right. Yeah.
The craft series has been used by Roma Craft Tobac to show off the talent of its cigar. We've got rollers. Hence the interesting designs on the wrappers. Yeah, that was a nice segue from Three Vaginas to Craft Cigar.
Yeah, that's perfect. Perfect. Previously, Skip Martin, co-founder of Romacraft Tobac, told Half Wheel that the Craft 2026 blend uses nine different varieties of tobacco from six different countries. Mmm, delicious.
He declined to specify which tobaccos they were. Undisclosed. Undisclosed. Undisclosed.
Eat Cigars & MSRP of: Gentlemen. You want me to go first? Sure. Sixteen.
He already knew. Is that what it is? Yeah, no way he got right on money. I figured you would have known right on money.
I don't remember. I was gonna say fifteen. So it was scheduled to arrive in mid-February, but packaging delays caused the release to be pushed back to now. There you go.
So they're on their way, everyone. All the leather is done. All the leather. All the leather is done.
Alright, PDR Cigars is bringing back the AFR 75. Ohhh. I know how much you like the AFR 75. Yeah, I'm a huge fan.
This summer, PDR Cigars will be reintroducing the AFR 75 line, which was first released in... Nicaragua. 2015. 2013, but on hiatus recently.
He said Nicaragua. It was originally released in, he goes, Nicaragua. Somebody's knocking on the door, I think your friend is here. Oh yeah?
Maybe. AFR 75 was originally developed as a small batch project by Abe Flores, who wanted to showcase the highest level of craftsmanship at his factory. You tell me it's the weight. What?
Well, not a limited edition, it was limited in production, as it was already rolled by selected individuals. Nice. Very excited about that. Do we need to end now?
Are we done? That's it, we're over. No, we gotta keep going. Preston is here, guys.
And that is the end of the show, because Preston just walked in. Mike got really chipper all of a sudden. Hey, Jump W's in such a good mood. Woo!
I'll get the door, I'll get it! You guys don't get up! Yeah, I enjoy his company way better than you two slab dicks, that's for sure. I'm sure you do.
Yeah, he doesn't screw up editing or say anything inappropriate. I don't say inappropriate things. He's not allowed to anymore. You're a lost soul.
We're trying to help you. We're trying to save you. Oh. So you can have an assistant that'll stay with your company.
Yeah. Okay. All right. Delaware amends their smoking ban to allow smoking in cigar lounges.
This is Delaware County, not Delaware the state. Oh, okay. Very confusing. On Monday, Delaware County Commissioners approved an exemption to the county smoking ban that will clear the way for cigar stores and lounges to allow their customers to smoke.
Oh. In order to qualify for the exemption as cigar lounge must, there are three things... Give us $10,000. Here's three things.
Your firstborn child. Have to have a liquor license, one. Okay. Prohibit anyone under 21 years of age fermenting, two.
Okay. Three, you can only smoke cigars inside, no cigarettes, no vapes, no nothing else. You know, liquor license question mark, but the other two sounds reasonable to me. Yeah, two out of three in bed.
Yeah. I don't know why I have to have a liquor license. Additionally. Uh-oh.
We have a... Hold on, wait, wait, wait, are you on me? I'm on the two. Okay.
Are you going to fire the sparklers? No, this is me. First of all, we don't know if we're going to have sparklers today. I'm just waiting.
Here comes the other shoe. I'm looking for the shoe to drive. Oh, I didn't know. I thought you were going to try to hit a bug with the flame.
No, no. Additionally, the lounge cannot function as a restaurant. Uh-oh. Meaning the food and beverage sales equal or exceed 60% of the business annual gross income.
After a year in operation, the lounge must generate at least 20% of its gross income from the sale of cigars. Okay. And the rental of on-site humidors. Banana.
I guess that means a locker. Yeah. That seems... That doesn't make sense.
No, that doesn't make sense. Turn your thing off and on again. Who? You.
Where's your watch? Oh, jazz hands. You know what? Did you plug these in and are they fully charged?
You know what? Could be the charger is still plugged in. I'm charging the charger. Right.
But no, these were charging -So they're not 100%? -Well- -No, the charging base charges them every time you put them in. -Right. Unless it's out of battery.
-But it did have battery, but I figured it needed to be charged again, so all three were plugged in at one time. -A supercharger. -Right. So maybe you can't have the base unit charging while you're using it.
-Ah. -Could be. -Maybe. -I don't know.
All these things. No watch for him, they can't be plugged in, no phones there or anything. -Can you turn off your defibrillator for about another 20 minutes? -Yeah.
-Right. Right. This is worse than the conditions in Colorado County. Yeah, it really is.
Yeah. Take off your, uh... Pants. Oh, sorry.
Not that kind of show anymore. Yeah. It gets uncomfortable. We said we weren't gonna do that.
Yeah. All right, it's time for the industry's favorite game. Oh. What's the score?
Where did he go? Is he not participating in the game? He went and sat down and got comfortable. I don't know.
" I mean... Yeah. We do a show for free. I'll tell them.
I'll review with them. Alright, it's from April 6, 2016. Patrick LaGreed is the reviewer. Okay.
Knuckles Sandwich Cigars, Limited Edition, Nicaragua Redux, and Mikey's done with the show. I win. Stay on him. I win.
It's the Knuckles Sandwich 56 Redux. Okay. Are you going to shoot him now? No, stay on him.
You're still on him. Yep. Okay. Okay, I think it's 52.
It's 52. I don't know. Why am I guessing the score? You're leaving another one.
Knuckle Sandwich Redux. By Patrick. By Patrick. The 56.
The 56. The Redux. 89. It was done yesterday.
That's a good cigar. You say cigar score. 94. The best one was the 55.
This is the Knuckle Sandwich 56, country of origin in Nicaragua. Factory, San Latino. Latano. Latano.
Is this the oval one? This is the 56. If you give me a minute, I'll tell you when it came out. Okay, tell us.
Three years ago, almost. He's 59. No, he just came out with a 58. Release date 2024.
There you go. He smoked one. That's all you got? It's a redux.
So I go again? Yes, now you can go again. 89. 91.
Always hitting buttons, I'm excited. Clue number one, the Knuckles Sandwich 56 comes out swinging with a rich, hearty profile loaded with earth, pepper, and steak, off the grill kind of aroma that makes it feel bold and satisfying right from the start. 90. 91.
Clue number two. You've seen it. What? What?
Have you seen it? No, but if I win, I want to hit the sparklers. You don't get sparklers. They're my sparklers.
That's how this works. I thought there should have been one on either side, too. Yeah, it's not fun. Thanks, Palmer.
No, it's just me. That way whoever the winner is gets them. Nope. But the problem is there is only one remote and they will both go off every time.
I'm the sparkler guy. Number two, construction sounds excellent overall with a smooth draw, strong burn performance for most of the smoke, and a profile that gains some welcome to creaminess in the second third to balance out the pepper. Ninety-one. Ninety-one.
Number three, as the cigar moved into the second half, some of the flavors lost their sharpness and became more blended together, with a little extra dryness and heat showing up near the end. Ninety-one. Ninety. Final thought, after two years of rest, the Knuckle Sandwich 56 has held on to many of the same flavors that earned it such a good cigar when I smoked it two years ago.
The biggest change, particularly in the second half, is that those flavors have come together so tightly that a lot of their individual definitions have been lost. Just like a good stew is enjoyable, it's now about the simmered combination of the individual components, and while it's still possible to pick out the keynotes, it's not easy as I remember it being. That said, the flavor balance and complexity still shine, but if asked to pick which one I enjoyed more, It's a no doubter that this cigar for my palate was more enjoyable two years ago compared to today. So, before you say the final score, I have the final score of this one.
I also have the original final score. So you're gonna be guessing both. Okay. First, today's score.
So this could be a split. If you got one, he got the other. No winning. You have to get them both.
You have to get them both? You have to get them both. That is today's rule? Hmm, let me see here.
So you were first guessing the Redux? 90. 89. 89 on the nose!
BING! Hit the sparkler! Hit the sparkler! Calm down, calm down, calm down, calm down.
Now we have the original score from April 2024. If you get this one correct, it's a split, nobody wins. He wins no fireworks. Oh, he doesn't want to hit the sparklers.
No, we're just trying to mix up a reduction. But we're not doing fireworks regardless. Huh? We're not doing fireworks regardless.
Not at this point, because he won the first one. Ninety-one. Ninety. Ninety-one.
Oh! Go ahead and hit the sparklers anyway. So are you saying I win? No!
You can only hit the sparklers. It doesn't win. Oh, you didn't win. You guys split it.
Okay, well, then maybe throw it. Alright, so now that you did two, now you gotta throw one more in. You know what? Whip one out.
Now you're gonna have a tiebreaker? Yeah. Let's hit the sparklers because of J-Dub. Nope.
Aww. Not doing it. Not doing it. Here's what I want you to do.
Sudden death, okay? I want you to say the cigar, okay? And who did it, and the date. It can be whenever.
And we will do a sudden death score. Yeah, no clues. With zero clues. With zero clues.
Oh, gotcha, okay, otherwise it's gonna take forever. Alright. Alright, hold on, let me pick one here. Won't that be fun?
That'll be fun. I'm gonna wee him. If you win, no sparklers. I'm gonna wee him.
Yeah, if he wins, no sparklers. I'm gonna throw my water in the air. So I just say, name a cigar, and who reviewed it. Name a cigar, who reviewed it, and the date.
Okay, hold on. Gotta find something good. This is gonna be good. All right.
I'll be so mad when I throw all this water in the air. Sudden death. Hold on, I gotta hit it. Alright.
- The cigar is from November 30th, 2014. - Okay, ooh. - Brian Burt renewed it. - Oh boy, okay.
- It's from 262 Cigars. - Okay. - The Mr. Pink.
- The Mr. Pink, do you want me to go first? - Is this Matt Booth? - No.
- Hold on, hold on, I gotta go all the way in. - You don't get to know other things? - All right, I have the number. - Okay, you ready?
- Yeah, you go first. - You want me to go first? - Yep. 82.
Come on. 83. You went the right way. Yeah.
89. Wow, an 89? Mr. Pinker, an 89.
No fireworks. No fireworks today. You went too low. I would have went higher on that one without even knowing what it was.
I don't even know what that is. I don't know what it is either. Yeah, I felt like it would have botched. I don't think Brian has hit a low one anyway, but I have information you guys don't have because I see all these scores all the time.
Right. Okay. If you would have went 85, then it would have been a little hard. Yeah.
It's probably good that we didn't use the sparklers because we don't know if they work. Well, we got to test them anyway, so we'll do it after the show. Listen, you're not going to reverse psychology me into pushing the button. Oh, I'm not reversing anything.
I just know I won. I just know I won. See that? Oh, this is what happens.
This is what happens? The feathers go off. Who wants to see me take the mask off? Who wants to see me take the mask off?
No, no. All right, go at me. I got something. Okay.
On April 24th, we'll be doing a Besa, Hooten Young, and Bentley event upstairs at Cigar Hustler, and we will have a dunk tank where you can dunk Mr. John Carney or myself. Ooh, first ever. Okay.
m. on April 24th. Don't be late. You don't want to miss the dunking.
