United Cigars Firecracker Maduro (3 1/2 x 50) Cigar

United Cigars is a boutique brand and distributor whose Firecracker Series dates back to 2007 and Two Guys Smoke Shop, the New Hampshire retail chain owned by Dave Garofalo, who also owns United Cigars. The short, potent Firecrackers are typically released ahead of the Fourth of July and are recognizable for the long twist of tobacco coming off the cap that mimics a firework's fuse. The Firecracker Maduro carries a small red anchor on its band, a nod to Red Anchor, the brand founded in 1772 in Delft, Holland.

A Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Dominican Criollo binder and Dominican ligero fillers, in the signature 3½×50 Firecracker format. The cigar is finished with a closed foot and the line's fuse-like pigtail at the cap.

The closed foot opens with a blast of black pepper and cayenne spice that wakes up the palate immediately. The Mexican San Andrés wrapper brings deep, earthy richness, while the Dominican ligero fillers layer in full-grain leather and burnt brownie for a bold, bittersweet depth.
