Powstanie was founded by brothers Mike and Gregg Szczepankiewicz after major retailers began suppressing manufacturer inventory access to independent shops. Powstanie is Polish for 'uprising' — a name chosen to reflect the brand's mission of putting independent retailers first. The cigars are produced at Nica Sueño in Estelí, Nicaragua.

The Powstanie Habano Robusto is a classic 5 x 50 vitola — the gold standard format for showcasing a blend's full character. The oily Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan core delivers consistent, even combustion and a tight, satisfying draw. Box count: 21 cigars.

Bold espresso, dark earth, cedar, and black pepper on the initial draw. The mid-smoke brings out dark chocolate and leather, while the final third develops a rich, complex sweetness. A full-bodied experience from start to finish.
